Honestly, the soft moments like this are my most favorite. Thancred's had a rough, shitty life, and in my headcanon once he knows and accepts he's safe, he spends a lot of their time together just soaking up the comfort--something he's never really had before. Not from another person, at least.

He also spends much of his time looking after the well-being and safety of others, all the while ignoring his own. But in moments like this, nothing's expected from him. He doesn't have to do anything but accept comfort and rest, and who better to give it?

Forest Green

You're in your own world, spinning fictions and building realities and finding the poetry in ordinary things. The people around you can tell there's something special to you, and you're well-loved by some very good people. But even to your closest friends, you're a bit of a mystery. This always surprises you to hear, because you don't mean to put walls up-- you just get so caught up in things nobody else sees that you forget to let yourself be seen. You're complicated, and sometimes you get tangled in it. Don't worry, though, it's not off-putting; despite your accidental air of mystery, your warmth can be seen like a campfire through distant trees.

Oddly accurate... though never would have picked that color on my own. It's also a bit more flattering for him than I might go, but then I am always very critical of the sly miscreant. Have to look around for some forest green... Should I play more Druid-types? No maybe he will just pretend to be mystical.
