What type of villain are you?

Pure Evil You are unapologetically evil, you are likely just here for the drama and the theater of it all. You are selfish and cruel because you want to be, not because you had no other choice, but because you revel in the opportunity to do what is wrong. That's not to say you will commit every unspeakable act, perhaps you have standards and your own moral code, but by no means are you the good guy in your own mind. Those who have wronged you, no matter how trivial or petty the slight against you, will be treated without mercy and you will be cackling the entire time without a hint of remorse. Buscarron's Open World / Walk Up Roleplay

We're dragging people out of their Yokai griding for more open world / walk up roleplay. Confuse the fate grinders by why there's so many people here again. Would you consider your character to be someone that is lucky? Is their luck more simplified, in that they're more likely to find money in random places or win at small gambles, or do they tend to defy the odds in ways people can't believe? Do they attribute their luck (or lack thereof) to anything in particular? Can you talk about a time where they were lucky/unlucky?

Luck...

Luck and chance are a part of Argent's life. He is a gambler, not just with gil, but with people as well. His schemes and heists and plans and cons all depend upon luck, to some extent. Anything that might go wrong can and will happen. I myself love using random dice rolls to color certain outcomes, much like DnD or any other tabletop encounter. Will that noble he's trying to fleece catch that his Isgardian title is fake? Roll to see! Will his dodge out a window end in injury or a miraculous landing? Let the dice decide!

Oddly enough, while he has had his share of failures, for some reason the very important rolls always seem to end up in his favor.

However, I would never say he's been a passive participant in merely relying on luck. He stacks the deck whenever he can. He cheats. He uses sleight of hand, makes sure bets, incorporates magic if he can get his hands in it. He has a fondness for those who might be able to influence fate or outcomes. He'll use hidden technology, when it suits him. He may even claim to have come across an avatar of the Weaver herself... but who can say if that's true?

If he can bend luck, he will. If he can surpass luck and assure his success, he will.

Argent makes his own luck.

So is it just luck when something goes his way he couldn't possibly control? Hard to say, with how hard he tries to influence all outcomes.

I'd say luck weaves in and out of his life all the time. Sometimes he bends with it, sometimes he tries to bend it in his direction.

I guess Argent flirts and dances with luck. Sometimes it may trip him up, sometimes it may want to lead, but he always manages to catch it for a dip and a flourish and continue dancing as if he never stumbled.
