Corpse Puppet AU Theo

Thought I'd throw my hat into the ring- /Lh

Corpse Puppet AU is made by @sketchquill who makes wonderful art for all their amazing AUs. (Sorry if this bothers you ^^')

This is Theo, a commoner who often dabbles in magic. He's good friends with Eddie and Howdy who he's known for years. (Has a crush on Howdy)

Now onto the fun facts!

-Met Howdy on a hill outside of town, often goes there to read his spell book.

-He doesn't like Howdy's parents- or how they basically force him to marry Y/N.

-Confides to Eddie about his crush on Howdy and how devastated he is about hearing he's getting married. (Howdy told him first thing-)

-Wholeheartedly believes you need to get to know someone better before marriage or maybe even dating.

-After the whole corpse raid, Theo offers Y/N who wants to be with Wally a way to communicate until they die naturally (or by other circumstances)

-Offers that same deal to Eddie and Frank even if it tires him out due to excess magic usage. He's doing it for love damn it!

-He'd ask threaten Howdy's parents to reconsider marrying off their son to some random person he's barely known.

-He may or may not have transferred some of Julie's money into Howdy's bank account to placate them, it'll get them off Howdy's back at least.

-He'll wait a while until he confesses, he doesn't want to overwhelm poor Howdy after going through such a... Unique experience.

I've dove back into @sketchquill 's Corpse Puppet with this piece. It's the first of a group of images with Stacy and Wally interacting with the WH cast in the Au. This scene follows after the pair get drenched and Stacy recognizes Wally as her childhood friend. In need of a spare dress, Wally leads Stacy to Poppy's, where the partridge not only gives Stacy a spare dress but treats the couple to Apple Cinnamon Dirt Muffins. Stacy politely takes a muffin, but Wally, knowing his wife's discomfort in the Land of the Dead's cuisine, eats the muffin for her. Poppy also compliments Stacy's stitching technique after seeing Wally's hand back on, saying things such as how Stacy could use her skills to help the other dead puppets for a career. She also comforts Stacy, understanding how scary the Land of the Dead seems to new arrivals. Especially given Stacy's particular situation.

And as you can see, even after their fight and the uncomfortable discovery, Wally still loves Stacy.

Many times I've written scenarios where PK lays curled up around PV when they're sick or hurt (either physically or emotionally), or simply just bonding and lounging together as wyrms do. Finally decided to draw how I imagine how in the hell he's able to curl up around them with their height difference. The answer: Compress! That! Bug!

Plus, that stretch that cats do, with their legs stretched out and covering their muzzles with their paws? So cute, I imagine PV does that often

Hence the ‘upstairs’, ‘land of the living’, ‘the surface’.” he shrugs. “But…I thought he wanted me here..” Steve can hear the disappointment in his own voice. “I’m not complaining, per se, I wasn’t exactly planning on being dead right now but..I feel like I should help him.” he looks down at his hands where they’re folded together on the bartop. Will hums, and there’s a beat of silence before he continues. “Is there a reason you want to help? Besides your inherent need to help people, I already know about that.”
