Welcome Home Fakemon AU
I was watching a Fakemon (Fake Pokémon) video a few minutes ago and I got an idea. I don't know if it's already done, but I plan to draw the Welcome Home cast as Pokémon. I'll use the typings as suggested by Clown (AKA Party Coffin) if the cast were Pokémon Trainers.
I'm already drawing Wally as a Ghost-type and I'm thinking of giving him Psychic as a secondary typing with all of the stuff going on the website in the ARG. I can see Frank as a bug-type, but if Clown doesn't have a type for certain puppets yet, I'll choose based on the characteristics of the puppet.

This new image for "Wildcard" came up when I was thinking about events in the story. I thought "What if there was a costume ball and Stacy, Eddie, and Sally got roped in as guests thanks to Julie?" I can't help but picture Julie being a shipper and wanting to get Eddie and Frank together along with Stacy and Wally. So when Wally announced that he was going to host a costume ball, the Queen of Clubs decided to dress up the pair along with Sally and have them enter the ball as guests. Stacy's is meant to represent a mermaid, hence the scales and the jellyfish sleeves. For extra pizzazz, Julie commissioned the dress to have pearls sewn into it as well as decorated Stacy's hair with pearl ornaments.
Of course, her appearance along with Eddie's (I'm still trying to figure him out) catch the attention of their respective kings as well as everyone at the ball. While the hidden princess of the Joker Kingdom was no stranger to balls, it felt strange to attend a ball hosted by another kingdom.
Luckily, the King of Hearts was able to help this fish out of water, ending up as her permanent partner throughout the rest of the night.
The dress was inspired by the Siren Dress in Alice: Madness Returns (My favorite out of all of Alice's dresses.)

So, today I found @imjade381's Stage On Welcome Home Au and after seeing their ref sheet for their Wally Darling, I got inspired. It also helped that I was in a Bendy-mood tonight.
Stage On Stacy is more on the mellow side and would rather sing at her family's jazz club than go to work for S.O.H. Entertainment. But that doesn't stop Home from trying to recruit her.
While she and Wally are different in many aspects, it's clear that they both love their music. Her preference is Jazz and Ragtime.
I can see her singing songs like "All Eyes on Me" by Hailey Lain and "Why Don't You Do Right?" by Peggy Lee (Also in both her pacing and Jessica Rabbit's depending on the mood of the club.)

Lately, I've been having a bit of inspiration for @sketchquill's "Corpse Puppet" Au. I've been able to get further along "White Tulips" and I've decided to make this prologue image, which is also the first time I ever drew Howdy Pillar before. This is a portrait Howdy and Stacy took twenty-two years after they got married. Their union brought about many a thing, including the birth of three children, the Pillar Family being saved from poverty, and the Flannigan Family gaining social standing. Howdy, despite his parents' protests, took to learning the art of business and became the new head of the Flannigan Mercantile empire. He still gained the title of Lord, but now he was able to earn back the family fortune.
Aside from raising three children (two sons and a daughter), Stacy became a patroness of the arts in memory of her dear friend and "first husband," Wally Darling. She was also the one who had to inform his father about his son's death, to which the Earl was grateful. She brought culture to the dreary town and even her daughter became one of the pioneering female artists of the age. (It was considered inappropriate for women to take up the arts in Stacy's youth.)
Both Howdy and Stacy brought other changes to the town including the ending of arranged marriages. When their parents' protested, the couple reminded them about the hoops they had to go through to get married and did not want that to happen to their children. This painting was made for their 22nd wedding anniversary. Just a few days before Stacy caught something that would shorten her lifespan by a significant margin.

For "Wildcard," I have this picture in my head. When Stacy, Eddie Dear, and Sally Starlet begin their tenure as the Judges of Hearts, Diamonds, and Clubs respectively, they are given a few ideas and tricks in case of an emergency. This is especially true for Stacy and Eddie, who are natives of the Joker Kingdom.
Because of the unique nature of the kingdom's magic, any Joker born with an affinity to it has their own magic limited when traveling outside of the kingdom's borders. (Think of it like a stamina meter or a Magicka meter from the Elder Scrolls.) As such, the traveling Joker can cast outside magic with no issue, but Joker magic is limited to a certain number of spells depending on the caster's level.
Because she is of royal blood, Stacy has access to high-powered spells, but can only use them three times. One is her healing voice, which she saves for an emergency.
This is another high-level spell called "The Eyes of Truth." As a Flannigan, Stacy can activate this spell to better see the lies amongst the truths. However, the spell has some side effects, such as nosebleeds, lightheadedness, and fainting. Even within the Joker Kingdom's borders, this spell is only used if the situation absolutely calls for it for the sake of the caster's health. I'm thinking of having Stacy use this power upon catching someone who is up to some sort of shenanigans such as an assassination or creating gossip in order to ruin the reputations of the three royals (Wally, Frank, and Julie.) Of course, she'd do it discreetly and have a mind-wipe spell-scroll ready.

In Wildcard, aside from their talents in the arts, Jokers of higher rank, especially the Royal Family, study the occult. When the Joker Kingdom was formed, the first Flannigan became the first ruler by striking a deal with a god who by "Wildcard" was nearly forgotten. In exchange for the ability to wield the Deck of Fate, the heirs of the Flannigan Family must undergo a rite of passage. There is a Rite of Light, where the people give their well wishes and blessings to the crowning monarch. This is also followed by a party that lasts from sunrise to sunset.
Then there is the Rite of Darkness, where the heir must enter what I would call a "dungeon" that would randomly appear in the kingdom. The heir must go in, traverse the dungeon, and reach a special chamber where they will connect with the gods both old and new.
However, the dungeons hold their own dangers. Creatures that looked like warped nightmarish versions of people and creatures the heir would know outside as well as manifestations of their deepest, darkest part of their psyches.
The heir must survive the dungeon under any means necessary if they are to not only inherit the Deck of Fate, but keep their lives and sanity as well. The Rite of Darkness was created so the heirs would never misuse the Deck of Fate by showing them the "consequences" if they go down a dark path.
The outfit Stacy is wearing is what all heirs would wear on their coronation. It would not be a surprise if it gets tattered once Stacy goes through the Rite of Darkness. Jokers believe in the balance between the natural world and the supernatural world. That sometimes, it's best to take the darkness with the light if one wishes to walk the right path.

I recently discovered some lore videos on a game franchise called "Fear and Hunger" and the concept alone got me interested and inspired me to make this. I made this right after I saw the March update of Welcome Home. But because of the decal and the research for 1960s and 1970s home and fashion designs, it took a lot longer than I thought. I've also thought up a puppet character backstory for Stacy. -----------------------------------
Besides being a handywoman, Stacy Flannigan was not only the newest resident of Home, but she's also the town doctor. Whenever a neighbor got injured while playing or if a sink needed fixing, Stacy would be the one to call. From what the WHRP has uncovered so far, Stacy appeared in "Welcome Home's" later years and would have been the adult figure, answering questions with a calming voice whenever a problem arose. Stacy is also one of the few characters who regularly makes contact outside of the neighborhood whether it was to consult another doctor or to catch up with her family. Stacy loves her family and often misses them after moving to Home. But her parents and grandparents always called once a week according to one episode script and many of the items in her house were hand-me-downs from them, including her grandmother's telephone and a picture of her ancestral homeland according to her grandfather.
-----------------------------------------------------
The picture above is Stacy's first Homewarming, though she still celebrated Christmas at her house. She also transformed her garage into a workshop for when she is working as a handywoman, but has a proper clinic in town.

It's been a while since I did anything for my Wildcard AU. But this took quite a while because of the decal and body shape. These two characters are Stacy's parents: King of Fools Seamus and Harliqueen Moira of the Joker Kingdom. Seamus is the current regent and a native of the Joker Kingdom. A friendly fellow who loves to grant his people joy. His natural talent as a Joker is theater. Particularly comedies. Seamus was always happy to give the gift of laughter, even at his own expense. But don't let that fool you into thinking that Seamus is a foolish king. He would use logic and reasoning to aid his kingdom but can be very frightful when pushed too far. Seamus' love for the kingdom was matched only by his love for his family. When he was a young man, he met a runaway noblewoman from the Hearts Kingdom. After granting her some shelter and some food, the woman, Moira, informs Seamus that she had fled her home because she was arranged to marry a wealthy, yet vile count on the outskirts of the kingdom. Her friend, who held a higher position, tried to get Moira out of it. But when her words fell on deaf ears, she urged Moira to run. Feeling sorry for the woman, Seamus allowed Moira to stay as long as she never spoke of the Joker Kingdom's existence to the outside world as per the law, even though he was the crown prince at the time. Moira accepted and pursued her passion for teaching. She was well-loved by her students for her creative ways to make education fun for them. She even had the aid of Seamus and a friend of his, Baron Francis, with some of her lessons. She, too, had a strong will when her temper flared and was quite stubborn at times. This and the two of them spending more and more time together caused Seamus and Moira to fall in love. Eventually, they married, were crown king and queen, and had a daughter, Stacy. It was a happy time for the couple. However, when Stacy was seven, Harliqueen Moira fell ill with an illness that slowly mummified her. King Seamus desperately searched for a cure both medical and magical, but none could be found. Though she suffered, Moira still held a smile on her face, not wanting her family and friends to worry. On the final night when she was alive, she told her family how much she loved them, and no matter what happened, she would always watch over them.
The next morning, Princess Stacy entered her parents' room to give her mother some water. She would be the one to find her mother has left the world of the living.
The loss of Moira was devastating to the kingdom, especially for Seamus and Stacy. Seamus was in complete despair that he nearly forgot that Moria wasn't truly gone. She was with him in his memories and in their daughter. He was reminded of that when he received word that the princess seemed to have lost the ability to smile. Realizing that his and Moira's child still needed him, Seamus climbed out of his depression and worked hard to mend their broken hearts by spending time together with his daughter.
Though he could never recover fully from the loss of Moira, Seamus' love for his daughter grew, watching with pride as she became a fine young lady who would one day succeed him as the Harliqueen of the Joker Kingdom. He also became a second father to Eddie Dear and took on Sally Starlet as an apprentice in the art of theater. After Stacy and her friends were chosen for the outer kingdoms' observation, Seamus begins to pray to Moira to keep their daughter safe. Especially since Stacy was ironically sent to her mother's birthplace: the Hearts Kingdom. ---------------------------------- I did a combo of Joker and Hearts fashion for Moira to represent her past and present homes. Seamus' birthstone is the sapphire while Moira's was the ruby.

I kinda fell asleep before posting this on Tumblr. ^^; I've been a fan of Bendy since "Bendy and the Ink Machine" for a couple of years now and this is my first birthday piece for the franchise. I do have a couple of crossover fics, but this is a stand-alone piece. I was initially going to do two separate pieces, one for the birthday and one for Valentine's. But real-life stuff held me up, so I went with a more "simplistic" piece.
I picture the cake being chocolate with a Peanut Butter buttercream icing. (The black frosting is plain dyed frosting.) Just the treat to have after a big bowl of bacon soup! Just mind the Ink Demon in the background...

Warning: Foul Language ------------------------------------
Lambert knew he was in trouble the moment he heard Jhula's shriek. He just wanted to try out the Rite of Lust to see what it could do. However, as soon as he saw his followers completely naked, he realized that he should have read up on the rite more. Ignoring his flock, Lambert dashed out of the temple and found Jhula in the middle of town wearing nothing but her birthday suit. She was red with horror and embarrassment as she struggled to cover herself while trying to find some clothes or even a blanket. As soon as she saw the red cloak of her friend, Jhula quickly hid the signs of her gender and shrieked again.
"LAMBERT! WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON! WHY AM I-WHY IS EVERYONE FUCKING BARE-ASS NAKED!"
The lamb gulped as he turned his head away. He knew that when Jhula began to swear like this, his was in so much trouble.
"I-I'm sorry, Jhula!  I-I was t-trying out the new rite I got! I never expected this!"
He gulped as he spoke his next words.
"I...uh...guess I didn't think this through?"
Hearing him, Jhula's eyes widened with shock before snapping her head around to face him. Her eyes immediately narrowed as Lambert could feel her temper has reached critical.
"You 'didn't think this though?' YOU DIDN'T 'THINK THIS THROUGH!?' You're fucking right you didn't! This is why I told you to read up on the subject BEFORE trying it out! Goddammit, Lambert! Any ritual called the 'Rite of Lust' should be A HUGE FUCKING RED FLAG ON WHAT IT COULD INVOLVE!"
Meanwhile, the followers watched as their High Priestess unleased her fury upon their Leader. As they watched, those who knew of the pair's dynamic explained to the newcomers that this was normal and that Jhula was the ONLY one who was allowed to criticize the lamb like this. The elders also noted that this was what made the lamb and the goat a perfect team.
By the afternoon came, Jhula had stormed back to the house, her throat sore from the screaming-lecture, while Lambert was sent to the metaphorical couch for the rest of the day. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just made this comedic piece.
This was the first time Lambert had cast the Rite of Lust as an experiment. However, he didn't read everything about the ritual and is promptly rewarded with a horrified shriek from Jhula (who was outside) and the slew of curses she cries out as she searches for cover.
Lambert tries to make things a little better by covering her with his cloak (thankfully his wool had grown back at this point.) However, it's clear that this was not a surprise that Jhula could appreciate.

THUD!
The sudden sound of something falling caught Jhula off-guard. The Archives were always a quiet place, even when she wasn't the only one inside. The thud combined with the acoustics of the room made her think of thunder. After her heart slowed to it's calmed rhythm, Jhula unlocked the door to the Restricted Section. She had only read one or two books from this area, careful so as to not get caught and be punished. But as the Archivist of Silk Cradle, it was her job to make sure nothing was out of place in this section.
As she traversed the aisles, many of the books' titles caught her curiosity. One was a book on magic runes. Another looked like some sort of military manuals. There were even books that, from what she could tell from the titles, were more centered on...carnal interests. Jhula blushed in embarrassment at the last one as she focused on finding the book that dared to fall off its place in her library.
And at the very last aisle, she found it. A grimoire that held intricate occult symbols with a pentagram as the main focus of the dark red-and-black book. Jhula wasn't sure why, but she felt drawn to this particular book.
"What's this?" she thought as she picked up the book and placed it on a nearby lectern.
After double-checking to make sure that she was alone, Jhula placed her hand on the book. It wasn't like this book was from Shamura's vault. She was the goddamn Archivist of Silk Cradle! If she wanted to know the contents of this book, what was stopping her?
And yet, as she touched the book, a sense of dread filled her. The same dread she would normally reserve for Silent Hill. Slowly, her heart began to pick up. Her instincts screamed at her in two different voices, telling her to both open and not open the book. That there was something sinister and yet helpful in this.
"What am I doing? It's just a book, Jhula. It's just a book."
And yet her gut was telling her it was more than that. Still, she took in a deep breath and flipped opened the book.
She had no specific page in mind. Just grabbed a section and opened it. Jhula's eyes then scanned the contents of the tome. There were pages upon pages of different rituals, unknown festival plans, and doctrines that were unfamiliar to her. But it was the image at the top that made her realize what this book was: a black crown with a red eye.
The infamous Red Crown of the One Who Waits.
Jhula gasped in shock. This was a book that high priests and priestesses would have been given by their respective bishop ages ago! A manual on how to run a cult when said bishop was away or how to properly perform their roles as members of their leader's inner circle. High Priests and Priestesses were considered the second-in-command to the gods, the proper envoy amongst the disciples. This alarmed Jhula for two reasons.
First, there hasn't been a High Priest or High Priestess for over a thousand years. The Bishops had long-ceased installing them after their battle with the One Who Waits. Which brings up the second alarm in Jhula's mind.
This book was for the High Priests and Priestesses of the Bishop of the Red Crown. Which begs the question:
Why was it here in the restricted section of Silk Cradle's archives?
As Jhula carefully went through the pages, a particular page had successfully snagged her attention.
"The Dark Prayer..." ------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've had this in my head for a while now, but this is the moment where Jhula discovers the ritual needed to call upon the One Who Waits. I've tried to make it a nerve-wracking experience, but this is a draft and it will be changed in the final product of the chapter it's in.

"Is...is this ours?"
"H-how the hell should I know?!"
"I-I mean, we DID wake up by that tent..."
"We were dunk, Lambert! And if we did...make this...I sure as hell would remember!"
"M-maybe there's a chance this is someone else's egg a-and forgot to pick it up?"
"I sure hope so. I'm not ready to be a mom yet!"
-------------------------------------
A bit of a gag piece I made to celebrate the new "Sins of the Flesh" update for Cult of the Lamb.
The premise is after a night of partying, Lambert and Jhula pass out near the "special" tent and when they wake up, they find an egg between them. The pair are confused and, like most in their position, panic at the implications. Both of them have their own reasons why they hope this wasn't theirs.
Lambert's reason is while he is more than happy to become a father, he would rather have consent from the other party. Especially Jhula. He would never force himself on someone in "Silent Flocks."
Jhula has more reasons than him and are as follows.
She's not ready for motherhood.
Due to her track record with all of her parents biological and adopted, Jhula fears that she won't be able to have maternal instincts and that she would be just as bad of a mother as her original. (Her original mother was horrible as per the Order's moral.)
She is struggling with the concept of two mammals laying an egg when neither of them are of an egg-laying species like platypuses or echidnas. (AKA "Where's the logic in this?!")
How could she conceive and deliver an egg while not feeling any pain from both the accelerated process and possible labor?
After a whole day of searching, they discover that the egg was accidentally left behind by its parents, who are grateful that the Leader and the High Priestess found it. By then, parental instincts kicked in and both Lambert and Jhula feel the pain of letting a child go.
