The new him, however wasn’t afraid to love Otabek. He was more at peace with his own mortality and his life, and more balanced about skating.

Skating was vital and kept him passionate. It set his blood afire with passion.

Danny was Not Happy™️. Vlad had actually managed to nearly kill his Dad. His Dad was on constant watch in the ICU, Jazz in a medical induced coma while needing to recover from minor surgery due to internal bleeding, and his Mom had minor injuries and a concussion.

Now Danny had put up with a lot from Vlad, but he had already been stressed out due to Finals, and honestly he doubts that even if he had been perfectly stress free this wouldn’t have crossed his bottom line.

Usually he didn’t keep any secrets from his best friends, with Jazz being a close second (third?), but one thing he did keep was his plans if Vlad ever did manage to reach this point. He honestly wasn’t sure exactly why he didn’t want to tell them, but it seemed he would find out after he started the plan.

Luckily, Tucker was a technopath, and had unknowingly helped with his plan by finding out that Bruce Wayne was Batman, along with his entire family of vigilantes. And while Danny didn’t generally have much time, Clockwork had actually helped him with some time shenanigans where he was able to scout Gotham and the Bats ahead of time.

Now he just needed to grab some of the things he had created in advance with his barely existing free time, send a text to Sam and Tucker, and he was on his way to Gotham. Hopefully the Bats would agree with his plan if he offered to fix some of the issues he had seen but had been warned by Clockwork was not the time to deal with.

not negating anybody's experience i know black sails is outstanding regardless of how or when or how quickly you watch it. but also, as a gay person who watched it in real time, you really had to be there. they introduce anne bonny and you know your pirate history so you KNOW she's a girlliker. she has a moment with max but youre not sure where it's gonna go. because it's 2014. you wait over a year for 2x01 and she and max fucking obliterate you with the sword drop kiss scene. all anybody is talking about in the tags is vaneeleanor. a few weeks later 2.05 drops and flint is not only textually gay and kissing a man but he is waging war on england, on all of civilization for taking away his male lover. you find this out after investing fourteen hours on this show that have spanned over a year and a half in your real life. not to mention the miranda stuff and silver's arc and mr scott and madi and the death march that seasons 3 and 4 feel like when you have no inkling of how it's gonna end. but you stick with it regardless because it's good and besides it's 2014-2017 and the only genre show with gay people in it is fucking... the 100? lol anyway. more gay people flock to black sails between seasons and the tag becomes more about the gay shit than vaneeleanor, thank fucking god, finally. you all dread the last season. you brace yourselves for the worst. you thank the stars this show airs weekly because watching even just two episodes together is too overwhelming. 4.08 airs. you cry. 4.09 airs. you cry. 4.10 airs. your life will never be the same. you cry so hard you catch a fever and have to stay in bed all week to recuperate. you know this was a once in a lifetime experience never to be repeated again but you can't help but hold every other show to this impossible standard.

Chapter 21 Come up for Air Teaser :)

 Yuri is cleared, just not for anything crazy. Sometimes he closes his eyes and pictures in vivid detail the moment he fell and everything changed. 

He wonders if Mila goes there too, to that place of frightening remembrance.

Still, Mila had moved in with Sara after she broke her ankle, and Otabek was his boyfriend because Yuri’s brush with death had been the catalyst they needed to finally become an item. It’s not to say, he’d do it all over again, hell no, but if you got to hit your head on the ice real hard it’s nice to know that something really good can still come from it.

 When he and Otabek get back home from the rink, they are visiting Grandpa’s grave.

Yuri isn’t ready, but he knows it has to be done if he can ever move forward.

The laces are tight on his feet, the skates easier to balance on then he would have expected after his long hiatus.He can feel Otabek behind him, ready to help if he needs to.

 It feels like coming home.

I do think probably for me the biggest takeaway from both Mando season 3 and Ahsoka is that the Disney+ shows desperately need to abandon the stupid ass 8-episode format already cause both shows feel like they're trying to do so much and just don't have the time to properly flesh it all out which results in some great setups with some pretty underwhelming payoffs. And really this applies to like every streaming service period like at this point I'm just so fucking sick of TV seasons that are less than 10 episodes long. Like we seriously need to go back to the days when serialized action shows had 13 episodes per season at the bare minimum I'm not kidding.

#i think my biggest problem with the ahsoka season finale is it feels like a mid-season finale #y'know it feels like the middle of the season where they take a break for a few months before airing the second half #but no it's just the end and we'll presumably have to wait a year or two before the second season #like all the underdeveloped and underutilized aspects of both shows could easily be solved if you just fucking added 5 more episodes #sure it would take longer for the show to come out but i'd be willing to pay that price #star wars #shut up tristan
