sierra's voice was like nails on a chalkboard for him

she was a literal stalker, which was freaking cody out

you, as his s/o, pick up on this quickly and put some distance between them as best you can

...but, sierra tends to sneak through the cracks

"hiii, cody!" a familiar voice calls, and you watch your lover shudder. "oh god." cody mutters, voice full of disdain as sierra bounds towards you both. before she could get too close to cody, you step forward a little, preventing sierra from crashing into him. "sierra, don't you have chris to bug?" you ask, but she shrugs. "heather said not to talk to him at the moment."

if sierra ever manages to catch cody whilst you're separated by any means she will not let go of him - so of course the poor boy is yelling for you

when you hear your name shouted from your lover's lips you already know what's going on, storming from your conversation with noah and over to sierra. grabbing her shoulder and putting on a polite yet tight lipped smile, you tug the other contestant from cody. "sierra, i know you're a big fan and all, but isn't this a bit much?" you ask, voice strained. "but he's just so cute!" sierra replies, and you're pretty much convinced that she should be in a mental hospital. "right.. well, cody's not comfortable with-" you gesture to her. "this. so, as politely as i can put it. stop, now."

cody is so thankful for your presence, because sierra definitely dies down on the creepy behaviour.

he feels so safe with you that he falls asleep on your lap, hoping that the sight will have sierra steer clear at all costs since she rarely bothers him when you're there.

promises that if he wins the cash that you can have half for protecting him

mal

now, mal is known for antagonising people- especially those who he doesn't like.

so, one day he's going at duncan due to their history together- which he doesn't like.

as soon as you see duncan take steps towards mal, you intervene, pushing on duncan's chest to make him back off.

"mal's just teasing you, dude. relax."

since that, mal takes your protectiveness to a whole new level. he literally gets away with everything when you're around.

"the hell did you just say to me?!" duncan demands, storming forward and squaring up with mal, who only grins. "you heard me." he continues, already hearing your footsteps gaining closer. "duncan, chill." you snap, shoving the punk back. "stop babying him! he can fight his own fights!" duncan snarls at you, glaring at mal over your shoulder. "i know he can, it's you i'm preventing from getting hurt." you narrow your eyes almost challengingly. duncan, tired of the argument already, scoffs and storms off. "thanks, doll-" "don't you dare. stop trying to get into fights." you scold, but he just smiles and gives you a soft kiss.

mal will only ever stop this behaviour when you almost take a few punches for him. of course they never land, he snatches their wrist before they can even touch the air around you.

so, he dials the behaviour down a little. still teasing people and such because he finds it funny, but not enough to cause a full blown fight.

if you scold him for riling people up he'll play it smooth and win you back with kisses.

mike

neither you nor mike know why scott's got such a big problem with mike. he's just an overall asshole.

of course, mike doesn't want to fight with scott, so he tries to keep the situation calm

scott- being scott- likes to intimidate, so he gets all up in mike's face a lot to make him squirm. you don't like that.

you will definitely have to keep yourself between mike and scott when these (one-sided) arguments kick off.

mike hates when you put yourself between him and the red head. he doesn't want you getting hurt.

"dude, what's your problem with me?" mike frowns as scott approaches him. "you're the one with a problem, buddy! i can tell!" scott snarls, body reeling back from mike as you tug his dirty white vest. "leave him alone, scott." you snap, keeping your eyes on the ginger so he couldn't make any sudden moves. "oh great. i forgot you had a guard dog." scott sighs, and mike pipes up. "hey, don't call them that!" you sigh, keeping your hand close to mike to shield him as scott steps closer. "or what?" his blue eyes narrow, and you brace for a swing. "i-" mike stammers, unsure of what to say. you wait patiently for scott to do anything, watching as his hand raises to card through his hair. "that's what i thought." the redneck sneers. "oh shut up and get out of here, scott." you demand, and scott scoffs. fortunately, courtney calls him away, so you didn't have to get into a fight that day.

mike always feels awful when you get involved. he can handle himself, he just doesn't want to get into a fight.

tries his best to ignore scott when he makes little quips. if you want to fight back, mike will gently grab your arm and lead you away.

in his mind, a fight isn't worth over a few snide comments.

Sorry if some of these are a little angsty and don't really have happy (per say) conclusions, but I'm just doing what I think best fits the character! I only write pure fluff if that what im given. Courtney

Courtney is beyond stricken when she sees you.

What are the odds you both would have signed up for the same shitty reality tv show?

Well, high as Courtney would tell you. You always were very similar even back when you were inseparable as children.

You knew Courtney was always very fond of you before you moved away, so the reunion is very sweet, and heartfelt.

The two of you attempt to spend a lot of time catching up on what you missed out on after you had moved, but on the show there isn't much time for it.

Courtney can't help but think about how absolutely heartbroken she was when you moved away.

I would think with Courtney's determined attitude (plus based on what she says to Gwen during their friendship) she has made too many friends.

So when you moved away, especially since she was little, it sort of felt like the end of the world to her.

I imagine you being around is wildly distracting for her. Despite her returning romantic feelings.

You were the only person who ever had that type of close vulnerable relationship with her, she would do anything to please you, receive attention from you, or keep you in the game.

All of it leads to some very undesirable slip ups from her, which with you is how I imagine she goes home on the island.

She watched you as she got pulled away, she's not going to leave it unsaid this time, she remembers what that feels like, she remembers how isolating and awful it feels.

"I'm going to miss you ______!" She called out to you from the end of the doc of shame.

You waved wildly "I'm going to win this for you Courtney!" You call back.

"No- I mean! I'm going to miss you because I'm in love with you!"

You stand there stunned as she boards the boat and calls out one final thing "You had bet your butt you'll win this for me! I just confessed my love to you on live television!"

You try to call back that you feel the same, but Chris does what Chris does best and gets in the way of a good time. Even if the boat hadn't driven her off before you got the chance to confess back, the motor is loud enough to where she probably couldn't hear you anyways.

By action, you two have fully discussed your feelings, and how everything should go now that you're into each other but still competitors.

You both agree that your first real official date should be after the show is over, so while things aren't technically official by next season, you two are undoubtedly interested in each other and therefore not getting involved with anyone else.

You stick true to that, but Courtney can see Duncan keeps looking at you, and she's not stupid, she would know that punks gazes in and out.

She doesn't bring it up to you, she knows you're generally very dense about those kinds of things.

But eventually, she can't take it anymore and her jealousy starts driving her mad.

She declares that you two are official, and that you very much are dating, which causes some tension between the two of you during action since you both agreed it just wasn't a good idea.

After some fighting, fighting, and more fighting eventually it's you this time taking the walk of shame to the lame-ousine.

Courtney fights her way to you.

"I'm sorry, I didn't expect it to play out this way!" She says sorrowfully.

But you did, you know just how Courtney is, you know how she gets, and while you didn't fully understand why she did what she did you could've guessed that some kind of fight was inevitable. Plus you know how she gets during competitions.

"Hey don't sweat it," you smile "now that I'm not technically on the show, I don't have as much of a problem doing this-" you say and bring her in for a short and sweet kiss.

After years of waiting for this moment, Coutney can't help but freeze up.

You pull away, and head towards the lame-ousine as she calls "I'll win this for you!"

"You had better win this for me! I just kissed you on live television!" You say smiling as you duck into the back seat.

Gwen

Gwen feels nothing but nervous when reuniting with you.

She was happy to see you sure, but her anxiety held her back in how she displayed that happiness.

She's mainly worried that too much time has passed since the two of you knew each other, and that the two of you won't have anything to talk about anymore.

Eventually the two of you slump back together and things go back to the way that they were before you had moved away.

Another reason she was desperately trying to avoid you at first is because of the huge massive crush she used to have on you.

And dang it of course you had to get cuter as you got older!

Just as she realizes that those feelings for you are slipping out of hiding, is also when she realizes that it's already too late.

Once again the two of you are glued at the hip, just like how it used to be.

You, being who you are and were, are wildly oblivious to these feelings because of course you are.

Gwen isn't one to wear her heart on her sleeve, and even though you two are close she is less so with you, she's been burned before, she's not letting that happen again.

The two of you are sitting next to each other at the talent show when it happens.

Heather goes up on stage and says "Originally I was going to dance for you, but instead I want to celebrate team spirit with a collaboration" She holds up a dark notebook with an evil look plastered on her face.

Gwen seems to recognize it and instantly freezes up "Gwen? Are you okay?" You asked, knowing immediately something was off.

"She wouldn't," she says, and then braces herself.

"So with words by Gwen, performance by me, enjoy."

She cleared her throat before beginning "Okay so I've been trying to ignore them. But they're just so cute! I know it's been forever since we've seen each other and in that time they have gotten so hot! Out of all my childhood friends, of course it had to be them."

Gwen dashes away from the bleachers, and Heather seems satisfied.

Of course you run after Gwen to comfort her.

She lamented on and on about how you must think she's such a creep now, and was acting like a total school girl, still writing in a diary.

But of course you didn't feel like that at all, this was Gwen you were talking about here. The cool, collected, funny quiet girl, and you were obsessed with her.

You two start getting a little more romantic after that, and Heather seeing her plan to drive a wedge between the two of you did not work realizes she has to get her hands messy and plays a little bit more of a direct role in getting you eliminated.

It's a sorrowful goodbye until you see her again in action.

Bridgette

Reuniting with Bridgette is nothing but vibes.

She's beyond stoked to see you again, and even more stoked to ride the wave with you again.

I imagine the two of you met at the beach, and it was love at first sight for her.

You two click all over again like no time has gone past, and she fills you in on every little thing you've missed.

Things are super cut and dry with Bridgette, no mess, nothing but chillness.

She makes her feelings pretty clear, with some hints and stuff.

She learned her lesson the first time, letting you leave without having ever told you how she really felt hurt in ways she wasn't ready to feel again.

But if you don't pick up on it she'll just flat out tell you.

"I'm not doing this cause you're my team mate, I'm doing it cause I like you. You dork."

"I like you too Bridge, you know that."

"Not like that-!" She exclaimed, splashing you playfully, rocking the canoe as she did "-like like like you."

You stare at her in disbelief for a moment.

"what?!" you exclaim.

"Do you not feel the same?" She frowned.

"No I do... I just wasn't expecting-" she cuts you off tackling you rocking the whole boat as she does.

The rest is history and you two are pretty much inseparable from that point onward.

Up until World Tour, where Alejandro starts becoming a plane wide problem.

He tries targeting you at first, but youre so in love with Bridgette he can't get any headway.

But Bridgette being stuck on an opposing team leaves her exposed to his manipulation, he lies about you and makes her question her loyalty.

After she gets stuck to a pole, you find her, but when she explains what happened you just feel so hurt and betrayed that you leave her in the dust (or well, snow).

After a world tour it takes a lot of apologizing and healing to get over what happened between the two of you but you're both determined to make it work so you both put your strongest foot forward and work at it.

Heather

Heather is absolutely stunned when she sees you.

You greet her excitedly when she hits you with a "hello? Earth to nerd, I don't know you!"

That's enough to keep you away from her for a while.

She 100% is only pretending not to know who you are, but what choice did she have? She couldn't risk her feelings for you returning and ruining her chances at winning.

Close tender friendships like you used to have were bad for her image now, she had an impression to keep in this competition and she'd be dead in the ground before she let you or anyone else come in the way of that.

Her tenderness for you starts to show through and through though, you know her like the back of your hand, still, even after all these years.

You'd recognize those glances anywhere, and you knew it meant more than just being a strong team mate when she would point out all the ways in which you did well in the challenges. She was trying to keep you in the game.

The two of you never have any heart to hearts, nothing like that anyways.

She never reveals that she does remember you, not even as you watch her fade into the horizon on the boat of losers.

World tour she's more determined than ever, you've never seen her so deranged to win.

I'd imagine the love triangle would have more to do with her and Alejandro then you and anyone else.

She becomes torn between the two of you, and the inherit struggle in trying to pick over someone who actually matched her wit, and her childhood best friend and longest crush.

She makes her decision when she inevitably votes you out.

"Heather... you voted for me?" You asked, heart breaking, eyes already feeling wet.

She scoffs, "Don't take it so personally."

You sniffle a little bit, and then shake your head "I should've known better than to fall for your two faced snake self twice." You spit.

And with that you're gone.

She's not stupid, she's not forgetful either, and you knew that she knew just what "twice" really meant.

But she'd dug her grave now, she would just have to hope it could hold a million bucks.

Duncan

The meeting with him is very awkward I'd imagine.

He'd likely pretend not to know you until he can get a moment alone with you.

I would imagine he's largely embarrassed of your relationship due to the fact that he met you before his Juvie days, and you were one of the only people who had known him before he became nothing more than a delinquent.

So yeah, he's hell bent on making sure people don't find out about you two knowing each other.

But we all know deep down Duncan is a totally sweetie, even if it is deep, deep, deep down. His affection for you is bound to show one way or another.

Ever the observant one I'm sure it was Courtney who noticed first, marveling at how strange it was that you two of all people had romantic feelings for each other.

She urged the two of you together, subtly, attempting to be your sort of wingman, unbeknownst to even you.

Eventually Duncan works towards getting her voted out because of this, he's so obsessed with keeping his bad boy persona he'd do just about anything in this competition to keep it up. Even risk losing a million big ones.

You knew something was fishy about Courtney getting voted, but you couldn't put your finger on what. At least not until you heard him in the confessionals.

"I had to get that Courtney chick voted out, she was getting too close. I hate people who get to close,"

"Duncan!" you exclaim.

You can hear him mutter curses from the outhouse.

"Forget it! You know I can't believe I was actually starting to like you again!"

After that it's a nonstop battle for Duncan to win back your affections.

I would imagine the love triangle would consist of you, Duncan, and of course, Courtney.

She would start falling for you based on the way you shamelessly defended her despite your feelings for Duncan.

Only problem for you was those feelings hadn't exactly gone away since last season, and you were still very much into him.

You three fight a lot, and are the reason all three of you end up going home.

Which leaves nothing but time to work out your messy feelings for Duncan, and his for you.

But maybe time is really all the two of you need.

Izzy

Izzy is a bit of a wild card (obviously).

I feel like reuniting with her is just super duper chaotic, and very overwhelming at first.

She wants to fill you in on every little detail in her life within the same second she sees you again.

But you remember how to rein her in, she really hasn't changed much from the chaotic messy kid she was. (save for being a criminal now (whoops!)).

You being in the challenge with her would keep her much more rallied and motivated towards an understandable goal.

She can feel those intimate feelings creeping back, but she isn't shy with it.

I imagine she probably would've confessed to you once before, when you first moved, only neither of you wanted to try out long distance and thought it might only ruin what a good friendship you had. So through your move you decided to just stay friends.

You don't get long to sit and wonder about if those feelings still linger for her as they do for you when she abruptly asks

"So hey, are you interested in dating during the competition?" she asked, sitting beside you, anything but shy.

"What?"

Izzy was nothing if not explorative, she collected new experiences like pokemon cards, and she wanted to live fully every part of life.

"It might be a little bit messy. But I think maybe it could work, if all that was keeping you was distance the first time... well... I'm here now."

She stares at you with an expectant kind of rare almost nervous look, and though the confession is anything but picturesque, with her, it's perfect.

I think the love triangle would come in with her next season with maybe Alejandro falling for you.

Hard to say whether his attempts at flirting are due to advancing in the game, or genuine attraction. Either way you have trouble picking up on it, especially when things are going so well with Izzy.

I wouldn't say Izzy isn't a jealous person, I just think she could fall either way, depending on the person, depending on the day, the humidity in the air, basically on nothing at all. She's nothing if not erratic.

With Alejandro, she might be inclined to threaten him with her license to kill depending on her mood, and depending on what he tries to pull with you.

Cody

The reunion with Cody is one that is very heartfelt, and he instantly lights up upon seeing you.

You can see that he's fairly committed to his "too cool for school" schtick, so having any genuine connection with him might be a little tricky.

He's one person I feel like would have definitely tried to keep in contact with, it wasn't anything like every day phone calls, but the two of you had definitely spent at least some time sending letters back and forth.

So when you too meet there isn't a lot of catching up to do, only some.

He's overall very excited to see you back, and you know him enough to know that, even if he's refusing to show it.

You can feel those creeping feelings sneak up on you until the hit you smack in the face during one of the challenges.

"Cody!" you exclaimed during one of the challenges as he hit the ground hard.

"I'm fine," he lied, his voice strangled, the wind having been knocked out of him wholly.

You helped him up, and picked up a piece of paper that had tumbled out of his pocket and went bouncing a few feet.

At first you mistake it for trash, but with the way that even injured and put out Cody grabs for it, you figure it must be something good.

You were due for a little bit of teasing when you decided to open it, only to realize that it was a letter from you.

It's an old one, a really old one, perhaps even the first one you'd ever sent.

"Uhhh... how'd that get in there!?" He exclaims, swiping it out of your hands which are too stunned to fight against it.

Realization dawns on you just as quickly, there is only one reason he'd would've kept that with him after all those years.

"Oh my god Cody, you like me!"

The rest is history, and you two start dating among the challenges.

The conflict would come with Sierra I would think, who's hell bent on breaking you two apart.

All of her attempts fall flat unfortunately for her, and you two stand as one of the more healthy and strong relationships within the show.

Cody x Reader x Noah Relationship Headcanons

I have a thing for throuples in this franchise.

Your first date with Noah was something more low key: perhaps a visit to a planetarium or art museum followed by lunch or dinner. Your first date with Cody was something more on the playful side, like going to an arcade or mini-golfing. Your first date as a group involved staying in, getting takeout and playing a board game or Cards Against Humanity.

If you meet outside the show, then Cody and Noah do everything they can to keep you out of the spotlight. They don’t want TMZ, other rabid NoCo fans or worse, Sierra, hunting you down and sending death threats your way.

Since his own parents forgot his birthday that one year, those and holidays are super important to Cody in your relationship. Expect Cody to have made your favorite meal and gotten you something extravagant as a gift.

It probably would boil down to you being the one to say “I love you” first. Noah’s pretty reserved in general, and Cody doesn’t want to freak you out. When it comes to actually expressing love on a day to day basis, Noah tends to do it through Acts of Service, and Cody tends to do it through Words of Affirmation.

Lots of cuddles! Particularly when you’re heading to bed for the night and they sleep on either side of you in sort of a pillow/cuddle nest.

He looks slightly disturbed being here. A shifty look in his eye, almost as if he was nervous to look directly at the camera. Every time Scott had been in to make a confessional up until this point was to explain whatever he had been planning for the competition, so this was unsettling for him to say the least.

"So, Y/N, am I right?" He started before the camera fizzed out and came back to him in a different position. "Nevermind this is stupid."

It would take a while until Scott would brave the confessional again. This time, he was gripping his head like a madman. Slowly, his head tilted up until he was holding onto his face with his eyes framed by his fingers.

"I can't take it anymore. They're perfect! My schemes can't touch 'em!" His hands had left his face and he was gesturing wildly. "I don't think I even WANT my schemes to affect them. Woah. I never thought I'd say that."

Scott blinked dumbly at the camera before a scowl took over his expression.

"Y/N I'm comin' for ya."

"Oh my gosh!" Lindsay twirled a strand of her hair around her finger as she stared off into the distance past the camera. "Do you guys think that Y/N likes me? 'Cause I toooootally like them. Like, I like-like them." A dreamy smile plastered on her face as she kept talking. "I hope they like me back. Like who wouldn't?"

She thought about what she said for a second, her expression a bit grave as it finally focused on the camera.

"People like me, right? Yeah, they do. That means Y/N has to like me." A pause. "Ooooooh, but what if they don't?" Lindsay tapped her chin in thought at the idea. "Whatever! They're really cute and like smart and amazing!" The blonde finally stopped talking and just sat there with her head resting on her hands as she let out a wistful sigh. This pause continued for about a minute before she finally perked up and tilted her head at the camera.

"Wait, is this still going?"

The model tapped his finger on the vanity as he was thinking about what he should say. He finally looked up and fixed his hair in the mirror as he started talking.

"I never thought I'd meet anyone as gorgeous as me. And I haven't. But Y/N comes pretty close and that's dangerous. They're stunning and their wit is unmatched." His lips puckered in defeat since his hair wasn't falling the way he wanted to. Ultimately, he gave up on it as he kept talking.

"Maybe I should go for an alliance with them. The thought of getting Y/N voted off just...doesn't sit right with me. But I also can't have this sort of competition."

Justin sat there with a frown, not really knowing what his plans would become at this stage. He sighed before he shot a smirk back up at the camera.

"I need to stop with all this thinking, it's making me ugly."

"They're insufferable!" Heather growled, folding her arms across her body while glaring off to the side. "All they do is be stupidly kind and have a dumb face and...and...and well they piss me off!"

"I need Y/N out of this game. Pronto! If I am to keep my game face on then Y/N has to go. They're totally messing everything up!"

Heather huffed and continued stewing in her anger. Eventually, she kept sputtering on some anger fueled words before letting out a frustrated groan.

"I can't believe this is happening..." She grumbled, scrunching in on herself more.

Before the camera fizzed out, a slight smile was seen on Heather's face as she let out a dreamy sigh.

"Wow. Y/N..." Cody sat there, staring at the camera with the most overjoyed look on his face. "They're probably the first person I've ever found attractive that is actually giving me the time of day! This is great!!"

Cody silently cheered, raising his arms in the air with a big smile on his face. Once his tiny little self-contained celebration was over he finally began speaking once more.

"I really really hope they like me back. Wouldn't that be awesome?" He got a bit closer to the camera, a smile on his face.

She always loved to make fun of Chris with you, and she's struggling to breathe after you continue to lightly razz him.

"You don't think I'm being too nasty do you?" You asked softly after saying something that was just a little rude, even if it was Chris.

She snorts "You? I don't think you're capable of being too nasty. Or nasty at all for that matter."

The two of you pause for a moment giggling softly, as she elbows your side "maybe I am rubbing off on you just a little bit though."

Eventually she would warm up to the physical affection for sure, you just feel so safe to be around for her it's kind of hard not too.

Tyler

Tyler absolutely loves it

He loves your sunny and giggly disposition so much it makes him so happy to be around you always.

He loves physical affection too, and he loves even more than he doesn't have to be the one to start it.

I think he's probably used to being in relationships where he has to play the super manly role and do all the heavy lifting for a lot of the stuff, being the jock that he is.

But let's face it our boy is a big silly bimbo he just wants to chill and let you take the lead.

So he loves when you are super cuddly, and that you always ask to see what he likes, and that he can just be himself.

He'll laugh at every single one of your jokes, even if he doesn't get it at all.

"One sec babe, I gotta go to the bathroom," he said one day standing up from the couch

"Okay, don't fall in," You chuckle.

He laughed for a little bit until saying "I don't get it, fall into what?"

you just smile at him "don't worry about it, go do your business."

He smiles and jogs down the hall.

Harold

Harold likes to be taken seriously, surprisingly.

It's just that he's used to generally being treated like a joke, so he's really sensitive to being laughed at, something you pick up on right way.

You always make a note to make sure he really is making a joke before you laugh at anything he says, since sometimes with his past experiences it can come off (at least to him) as you tease him.

But he loves that you're always trying to make him laugh, with jokes that aren't about him, and aren't poking fun at him or his interests.

It takes him a little bit to get used to not being the butt of the joke with you, but after a while he gets it and feels much more comfortable with you.

He absolutely loves how physically affectionate you are, he is too, so it works out perfectly!

He loves holding hands with you, sometimes you'll take his hand in yours while he's talking.

He was rambling one day when you soundlessly slid your hand in his.

"What?" You chuckled softly "I was just getting invested."

"Really? You actually think this is interesting?"

You laughed a little bit and shrugged "well, duh."

He smiled at you before continuing his rant.

Cody

When I say this boy is obsessed.

He himself is always putting on his "cool boy" persona, so he very much appreciated getting to turn that side of him off when around you.

He laughs at every single one of your jokes, he thinks you're the funniest person around!

"I'm serious, you should do stand up or something," he suggests after absolutely crying laughing over a joke you told.

Despite having a very muted interest in that you smile at him "Really? You think so?"

"I do!" he really just thinks the world of you.

He likes being silly with you too, just leaning against each other, riffing off one another.

He likes that you're physically affectionate too, god please hold this boy.

He likes it best when you hold your arm around him when you walk, or when you two are talking slowly start to cuddle up against him.

You'll pretty much never hear him complain about it!

Cody really likes being around you.

You emit energy that just gives him that daily boost.

Whether it's your confidence and lightheartedness or a good joke, he usually has a smile while hanging around you.

He also likes to join in on playing the comedian with you if he feels creative, so you're a fun duo!

He's curious why Chris likes you so much.

I mean, he can see why, you're like, the best person ever to be around, (in his opinion) but still.

And you're kind enough to share anything extra with him!

You got him by a surprise when it first happened, as at the time you were friendly, but only briefly spoke to each other.

Next on the trip list was "Yukon". You knew it was gonna be cold. But being the TV host's favorite intern wasn't that bad, you knew you were probably gonna get decent clothing. As you expected, the temperature was freezing. But of course, Chris couldn't be cold, so he got himself a cozy and stylish jacket. You and Chef also got the blessing of getting something warm to wear, unlike the rest of the campers. You felt some hope after Chris announced that he ordered the jackets for the others, but it quickly washed away when you heard his response to Heather that "they should arrive in six to eight weeks". You sighed, but ultimately you were helpless to do anything. You took a liking to Cody, he was fun to be around and you thought his "tough man" was both entertaining and kinda sweet. I mean, at least he tried, right? You started talking in the short moments when you both had a break and a chance to interact with someone in between the challenges. You never went out of your way to help anyone as it was technically cheating, but you felt like you had to do something when you saw Cody freezing after he fell into the cold water and Sierra had to rescue him. You saw her throw him on the land from the floating ice block, thinking he's somewhat safe now, until you heard the abrupt sound of him hitting the nearby mountains which made you cringe from the secondhand pain. Once the camera focused on the other contestants trying to make it through the challenge, you sneakily approached Cody, who was visibly shaking while laying on his back and processing what just happened. "Oof- Dude, you alright?" You hovered above him with a concerned look on your face. "Y-Y/N?" He managed to stutter out while the cold tried to shut up him up. You offered him a hand so he could get up, to which he accepted with a shaking grip. Without a word, you gave him the only thing you had on you, your jacket. "T-That's for me?" He asked, a bit in disbelief for your kind act. "Of course, I can't let you freeze to death." You quickly explained with a smile on your face. "But what about you?" He questioned once more, seeing as you had nothing else to put on. "Hey, I haven't fallen into the freezing water, did I?" You pointed out, although you appreciated him worrying about you as well. "R-Right." He flashed a shaky smile and extended his hand as you passed him the clothing item. "T-Thank you." He tried to keep his teeth from grinding, which stopped as soon as he put it on. The cold was still biting your ass, but at least you felt good knowing he wasn't about to die anymore. Cody started to feel a bit awkward seeing you start to shake, though. "Hey- now that you're the one being cold, I feel kinda selfish here." He admitted, halfly-joking. You took a second before responding. "Well- There's always an option with huddling for warmth" You responded, also halfly-serious. You didn't mind close contact and free warmth, so you hoped Cody wouldn't either. "Unless you got cold feet." You heard a slight chuckle come out of his lips after your words. "Okay. But only to break the ice." He put on a grin which showed his goofy tooth gap. He was pleasantly surprised with the amount of casualness from you, but also a bit lost on how to act, so he resorted to lightning up the mood as well. You reciprocated the giggle and stepped closer, feeling his body against yours. He hesitated a little, but finally embraced you into his arms. "Don't let Sierra see you though, you might make some enemies with her after that." He warned you only slightly serious about it.

Cody was far more casual and friendly with you after that one kind gesture.

And with time, he began to see you as legit one of the closest people he got to meet on the show.

But the thing that made him enamored in you was when you got to his heart through his stomach.

You knew that the teams had to endure Chef's horrible cooking each time they lost, and you were glad when you didn't have to worry about the food being a probable cause of your death when Chris gave you your share of the meals. So, naturally you also wanted to grant that opportunity to your close acquaintance as well. Per usual, you approached Cody after you had a moment to yourself. "Hey Codemeister, what's up?" He turned his head towards you as he heard the familiar tone of your voice. "Y/N, hey!" His face lighted up and he straightened his back to properly look at you while sitting on the crappy, wooden seat, "Had your dinner already?" You asked casually, sitting next to him. "If that's what you call it- yeah." He cringed at the economy class food. "Why?" "Well, I just had this cookie that i conveniently kept for you, so..." You slightly teased as your hand slowly got the packaged, delicious goods out of your pocket. "What, dude, no way!" He gasped slightly as he saw the cookie in it's glory. "It's mine?" "Yeah." You nodded with a smile, already happy about his excited reaction. "You're amazing!" He attacked you with a hug without thinking twice. You felt Sierra staring daggers at you.

Like you're both *that* couple at the aquarium having all the aesthetic moments with the fishies.

That's actually where the two of you met...

You rubbed the hand sanitizer into your skin as you began to approach the fiddler rays you've been dying to pet all day. The sun had already began setting as you finally approached the tank they were kept inside. With the directions of the worker, you cautiously stuck your hand in the chilly water in an attempt to pet the one in front of you when you feel someone's hand touch yours, you look up as you mutter an apology at the same time as the person whose hand you touched, only to trail off at the sight of by far the most pretty girl you've ever seen, the setting sun casting an almost halo around her blonde hair.

After that chance meeting, you both visit the local aquarium for dates frequently.

So much so that you've begun to help name the newborn fiddler rays, those being, Slater, Dirt, And Munch~Munch!

Aside from aquarium dates you also go to her surfing competition as her personal cheerleader!

"Woo! Go Bridgette!" You cheered as she lands a rodeo flip followed by a floater, sadly that floater was also followed by an almost equally epic wipe out. You quickly rushed closer to the shore, towel in hand, as she coughed up a bit of sea water. "Ugh.. I almost had it.." She groaned between coughs as you wrapped the towel around her. "Well, at least you looked cool!" You replied which caused her to giggle. "When I was actually on the board or when I got thrown off?" Bridgette questions with a small smile. How you met? For whatever reason whether boredom or genuine interest you were watching a chess documentary at the movie theater and that's where you met him..

It was a February day, not long before valentines actually. You were walking into the movie theater, snacks and slushie in hand. The theater was fairly busy and you sat by a stranger. The promos hadn't even begun yet when he began talking to you. "Soo.. You've ever heard of Robert j. D'Amato?" The fated stranger asks you. You slowly blink at him. "..." "...." "Well I mean you are here to watch a documentary about him so-!" He anxiously blathered on, and at that moment, with this cute stranger sat beside you, you realized, you walked into the wrong theater. "Actually, I don't know anything about chess... After the movie he not so smoothly asked for your number, which you happily gave.
