Unity Pairing and Bed Sharing Chapter 22: Consequences and Combat

Hermione:

News about the pool party unity event spread throughout the school like fiend fyre. It was all anyone could talk about. The stories of what happened that day began to take on epic proportions within just a few hours.

"I heard that Parvati was playing with a Ravenclaw's balls in the pool in front of everyone!"

"I heard Justin poisoned everyone with Muggle potions called Penis Colliders and Clawberry Deathquies "

"Well, I heard it was a full-on orgy, and Hermione and Draco were in the middle of it all!"

Headmistress McGonagall put a moratorium on speaking about the event which obviously just excited the students more. Secret codes were devised and soon note passing was a more common way of communicating than talking among the younger students eager for the latest piece of gossip.

The eighth-years themselves were talking about it too. At breakfast Monday the Unity Table was abuzz with whispers of punishments and expulsions. Daphne could be heard whining all the way down where the Gryffindors ate "I didn't do anything wrong! If I get expelled I'll lose my internship! Which is so unjust as I am entirely without blame!" Ernie was patting her back, trying to calm her down.

Pansy, who was sitting with Neville and Hermione rolled her eyes. "She knows her family could get her another internship in a heartbeat. That girl just loves to cause a scene. Nothing is going to come of this."

Parvati looked up from her eggs to whisper a quiet "I hope not. I'm sorry guys. I just wanted us to have some fun." Hermione squeezed her shoulder supportively.

"It's not like they'd really expel us right?" Dean asked, patting Parvati on the back but looking terrified, that they would do just that.

Seamus bumped his friend's shoulder with his own. "They want us here; they created an entire new grade level for us. We are the model of intra-house relations, remember? And if Hermione's little moment accomplished nothing else, it's made it clear that the boundaries between houses are definitely shifting." He wagged his eyebrows at Hermione as he spoke. Was he just joking about her and Draco? That was new…"I bet nothing will happen," he continued "What are they going to do, punish all of us?"

goshhh DO I [mostly bc im going to be working on clawface’s character a LOT for a fic i wanna write soon so nfdkfmds]

- clawface just??? he was always super sweet to her and it was p obvious he liked her; rowanberry thought the way he treated his brother, nightpelt, who was always sickly and soft spoken - how kind he was to him, how he helped his brother w/ breathing exercises - she always thought it was endearing and adorable

- he always joked that he was far too ugly for her due to his disfigured face but she never felt that way; she always would be like “and my handsome mate, clawface” when introducing him and gave this look like “c’mon, try and tell me he’s not, i fuckin dare you”

- he rly loves his cat wife and says so a lot; despite his hardened exterior as time went on, he always treated her fondly

- she was pretty horrified to know he killed spottedleaf, though; i like to think clawface kept it a secret from his clanmates and shadowclan [bc a cat who kills a medicine cat is immediately seen as blasphemous and evil - it’s one of the worst things a clan cat can do] and even if she was still like, very in love, it was hard for her to think about why he would do that

- it’s tragic bc he’s in the df of course and shes in starclan; he thinks about her a lot and wishes, more than anything, that he could see her again - he knows his place is in cat hell but still he just wishes he could see her once
