random little quirks about each the inheritance games characters!

these are all headcanons I made up!

avery definitely sings in the shower. she has full on concerts every time and jameson thinks it’s hilarious. avery will get really embarassed if you bring it up and doesn’t like to talk about it.

jameson stills counts on his fingers. he’s a grown man, in college, paying for taxes, and he still uses his fingers to count.

grayson is a huge grammar and spelling person. if you spell a word wrong or don’t use correct punctuation, he will correct you in seconds and make you feel like an idiot.

xander is a huge nail biter. whenever he can’t sit still or is anxious, he bites his nails.

nash will have headphones in and will dance around his bedroom, kitchen, etc. he gets very flustered if someone walks in on him dancing to music the other person can’t hear. when libby walks in on it, she just starts dancing with him.

libby is a terrible liar. you can always tell when she’s lying or making something up. she always gets really guilty after lying too.

max snorts when she laughs, but only when she’s laughing really hard. she’s kinda self conscious about it but xander thinks it’s so cute.

thea is a massive germaphobe. her room is always so clean and she hates touching dirt, animals, blood, etc. she is constantly washing her hands and doesn’t like germs overall.

rebecca is an outfit repeater, but she has the cutest clothes ever so no one really cares.

Y'all there's something I noticed which made me kidna uncomfortable, you know how people make fun of people who love fictional characters and if they say something silly about them like how much they want them then people try to humble them by saying "oh they won't even look at you if they were real" which I think is really weird like if they were real and they knew someone who loved them as much as their fandom does, I'm sure they would find themselves lucky and even grateful that they have someone like you loving and supporting them for little things. So, if anyone ever says to you that "oh they won't even want to be near you" if they were real" just say that's their loss cause love you give out is always precious and deserving of the respect. Your love is precious and you are deserving of love. Fictional characters are lucky to have someone as beautiful as you loving them so don't you ever think they won't look at you, because let's be serious they won't even be that special if you hadn't shown them love. Just making sure you do realise your potential that it's you who make them special and anyone who ever makes you feel otherwise is just protecting out hatred. Don't ever make fun of someone for loving. Love is so precious 🫶🏻

God, I saw that AO3 post about someone thinking you needed 1 kudos for every 10 hits you get and now I stupidly cannot get it out of my head and I am constantly checking my kudos to hit ratio to make sure it's on par with that UTTERLY RIDICULOUS standard and it makes me sick.

No one should ever put that on writers. It's not a real thing people should ever do. Read a story because it sounds like you'd like it, not based on comments/hits/kudos ratios.

Don't do that to writers. Look what it's done to me.

I thought if I didn't, if I let myself love you, I would burn up like a match. Like the whole matchbook.'
