Well, hello!

I think I have an AU to share. I still haven't decided whether to call it "Void AU" or "Abyss AU"

Anyway, it's about this: In an alternate universe, for "reasons", Alastor ends up becoming Charlie's guardian, and after a couple of years taking care of her, he takes her to Lucifer, so they both end up raising her. Lucifer is a good king, there are rules and things are in order, but the exterminations continue to occur, the Hazbin Hotel still exists, but Charlie is supported by her parents, the fight between Alastor and Adam continues to occur, but Alastor gets hurt protecting Charlie and Lucifer appears before, he heals him immediately, and after these 90 years together, they get married. Ten years later Lilith returns to hell with an army of angels since she made heaven believe that hell was planning an attack. Lilith kills Alastor and takes Charlie to heaven, and Lucifer in a fit of rage and grief destroys all of Hell, including any connection to Heaven. Lucifer is left alone in a perpetual void, floating in the darkness without knowing how long. When he recovers some of the power he spent, he tries to go to heaven to continue his work. He doesn't know which direction to go until he sees a light, but instead of going to heaven, he ends up passing through a portal that takes him to the canonical universe.

He quickly sees the differences and begins to make plans. He has no interest in forming a connection with Charlie, he raised his daughter well, he won't make things more complicated for the other Lucifer. His relationship with the other members of the hotel is similar to how it was in his world, only closer because he doesn't feel as uncomfortable as this other Lucifer. There are clearly a lot of things to solve in the kingdom, so he offers to fulfill the duties of king while the other Lucifer can continue trying to be a good father.

The biggest difference is the relationship with Alastor, clearly the other Lucifer does not want to be close to him (lie, but it's a work in progress), but this Alastor is the same one he knows, only with more defensive walls around him. So he decides that he is going to keep him, using all the information he obtained in those 100 years together he tries to make this Alastor fall in love with him, and subtly tries to manipulate him to obtain his soul.

In his time alone, which is something he had never experienced, Void/Abyss!Lucifer has gone crazy, he wants to recover everything he lost, he wants to make sure that the relationship between Charlie and this Lucifer works so that it is not awkward for him to approach her later, he wants things in this kingdom be better to ensure that heaven will not be a problem again. He absolutely refuses to lose Alastor again, no one can take him away from him, he won't let it happen again. He does a good job of looking calm on the outside, but inside he's a mess of anger, pain, and constant longing.

Void/Abyss!Lucifer has three plans in mind. 1) Stay in this world, where this pathetic version of himself can focus on being a good father while he rules with Alastor. 2) If they somehow manage to find a way to send him back to his world (which is what he continues to pretend he does in his free time) permanently change places with this Lucifer, he already seems used to solitude anyway. 3) If he can't stay, but if he was able to get Alastor's soul, then he'll just take him with him, they can try to start everything from scratch...and if it doesn't work, at least he won't be alone in the dark.

Love the idea of Outsider being higher but not the highest deity. And who is the highest one, you may ask me? The Void! Just the eldritch god, as old as the time itself, lonely and eager to communicate. But along with that Its only touch is deadly for mere mortals, as It's a pure havoc that will absorb the very soul of the one It's communicating with. 

Corvo describes the Void as an “endless cold”, Daud says that the Void feels like “if you cried for help but no one answered”. And for them it's true but for the eldritch one it's the form of communication. A love language. It lets you roam inside freely and It expects you to let It do the same, let It roam inside of you. Cup your soul in Its improvised hands to hold just for a moment, to study, to feel your emotion, to live through your memory. To show you some love in Its term, to do the softest thing It can do!

And who knows maybe this communication was the main goal of whoever created Outsider. But as time went by, this goal was lost and forgotten. So here It is and here is Outsider, both so old and not even sure how much of them was inherently theirs and how much they have absorbed from each other.
