#getting really soooooo sick of getting they/them'd and so many of my friends who dont use they pronouns also getting they/them'd #paradoxically its like people have been taught that using they/them is best bc its neutral so its better than assuming someones pronouns #and potentially misgendering them #but just forget that youre supposed to use they/them when you DONT know the persons pronouns and once you learn them you change to the #correct pronouns. it really shouldnt be that hard to take a second to check someones bio for their pronouns and use the correct ones #its like people dont take into account that they/them may be ''neutral'' but not everyone identifies with them or likes being called them #or that it might still feel like misgendering even if its not he or she #sigh...

there's just no way ted wouldn't keep in touch with the others (and have weekly zoom meetings just like in the christmas special) and I just love the thought of the whole team having reunions once in a while.

and going back to trent's arc in s3, the sunflowers conversation, "And your daughter?" "She's never been happier." I think it could go the same for ted.. we've never really properly saw how henry felt about his dad being in london, it's always other people that told ted his son misses him, who's to say henry would rather see his dad happy because that in turn would make him happy too? he was there to win the whole thing, right? I just know ted’s story isn’t done yet when he still hasn’t learned to let others take care of him in return and who else to pair him with than the man who blew up his career because a man was nice to him (and also because they were so. so cruel for the fakeout tedbecca scenes for that finale) 🥺

some screenshots of a desert palace that @cookieg122 and I started some time ago! we've since moved this build elsewhere and are starting from scratch to make a Bigger and Better version for our giant desert town (that I might share in the future if we can get it finished!), but I'm still quite happy with how this smaller, cozier palace turned out! :'D

got a few pics of the bathhouse in the back as well - we'll be repurposing it somewhere in the new town, but for now it's still part of this older build. I thought it would be a nice addition to this post, though!

(ignore the mess on the right side of the palace tho, lol... we have plans to move all of that to a nearby jungle but we haven't gotten around to it yet haha)

One of the things I mourn in AA5 is the loss of what was shaping up to be an insanely interesting commentary about law enforcement. You have Bobby Fulbright— goofy, lovable, sweet, dedicated to the idea of justice more than anything in the world— and one of the first things you see him do in court is electrocute someone. It genuinely felt like it was the beginning of a commentary on the nature of power and the cruelty that people will enact on others when they think they’re justified (no matter how nice or well-meaning they might be). The treatment of prisoners and a discussion of what happens after court is adjourned is one of the few things Ace Attorney hasn’t touched yet and it really felt like AA5 was gonna test the waters of that kind of conflict and then they just. Did not do that. And the electrocution thing was just one clue in the tapestry of “he was secretly an evil super spy all along!” That we got but man. Fulbright you could have been everything
