and it is so perfect it’s such a perfect answer this is canon to me now this happened. somewhere between the scenes we saw at the end of potd im sure this happened like theyre looking at earth eating their ice creams and yaz wont say goodbye bc the doctor doesnt want to and because shes like the doctor too, so they fly back home together in silence and when they land neither of them move, just frozen with their hands still on the buttons squeezing out every last second they can get with each other and eventually the doctor looks up and asks “what are you gonna do now?” and yaz, finally breaking, goes “i dont know” 

so the doctor walks over to her and takes her hands and looks at her in that way she does where shes memorising your face to keep you safe in her hearts forever, like youre a kind of miracle she can barely believe she was lucky enough to get to experience, and she wipes yazs tears away and she says softly “you’ll figure it out; trust your instincts”

and yaz looks up at her teary-eyed and sniffles and wipes away her own tears too even though the doctor already did because shes pretending it didnt happen and then she steps back first, because she needs to. pulls her hands out of the doctor’s slowly like it’s the kiss they never got to have and then she has to walk to the door. because that was all the initiative the doctor is going to take. because shes never going to be able to kick yaz out. even softly, even mutually. yaz has to end it.

so she walks to the door, and the doctor stays by the console, walks to the door only after yaz has stepped over the threshold definitely of her own accord, definitely without any coaxing or encouraging or silent im sorry but it has to be like this. so that nobody who saw it could have ever believed the doctor wanted her to go. but of course nobody saw it. except the two of them, each other.

HEY guess who's being completely normal about episode 7 :)

anyway it sure ain't me, so I made myself a baby Malleus! I used the single-headed version of Choly Knight's hydra pattern (link will be in replies ↓↓↓) as a base, and just messed with some of the pieces to make him more Mall-y. including sewing all those little claw pieces, then pinning them on and realizing I actually liked him better without them...oh well. to heck with accuracy, I want stubby little dragon legs!

unfortunately, he doesn't photograph very well, especially his forehead scales (they're there! I promise!) (they're made of glitter HTV so they are actually SPARKLY in real life, yet apparently they come out completely invisible in photos, woe). but he is super cuddly and soft so I'm happy with him! just as in canon, he is a product of LOVE. :>
