see the weird thing is that i’m literally the happiest i’ve been in my entire life, right? like ever since i’ve turned 16 i’ve lived a momentously better life; i have a lot of self confidence, i have a reliable friend group that cares about me, other close friends in general that i can communicate well with, a girlfriend that i’m really compatible with, a good family structure, a better grip on my toxic habits, etc. like i’m just genuinely such a happy person by default, and part of that is because i’m not actively undergoing any trauma anymore.
so now i’m confused. because despite literally all of that, for the first time in a year, i have been having the same breakdowns, feelings, and responses to everything that i had when i was actively in a traumatic situation. but nothing is happening. i don’t have any new memories that i didn’t already have for years. so what the hell is going on.
#nightmare.personal#don't reblog#posting here because i'm sure there's a positive spin to be taken from this#like just another reminder to throw out in the void that recovery isn't linear and to be gentle on yourself#a reminder that other people might need and i probably need to#but this is also. i mean this is incredibly vulnerable but i do say it because it's such a strange experience#the only reason i'm noticing this is because the biggest way i used to handle things when i was 13-15 was with anger#and for a while i still dealt with being hot-headed but that's just like part of my personality less than a disordered thing#but now it's returning back to like uncontrolled rage and distrust#which is... really weird.#and despite what you'd think the nightmares aren't clarifying much. half of them are stupid extrapolations of my media of choice#some of them are recollections but then again i literally already had access to that#the memories i don't have are being locked away that's very clear to me but considering i can like guess what they are#it's not really like those are somehow seeping in to bother me?#this is just odd because yes obviously i still am mentally ill but this past year what i've experienced felt mostly like-#-building off of the way i've behaved my entire life#these are very specific behaviors that i had mostly in very late 2020 to mid 2021#it's just. very very odd. and i don't know what's causing it.#i want to blame the entities in my head just for the sake of having something to pin it on but i don't think they have the ability to-#-control my emotions like that. huh.#okay sorry for this being like a lot tm but i wanted to get it out there

Trustworthy
Sooo... I can’t stop thinking about the new spoiler trailers from Mundo Gloob and I had to write this Episode 1 / Season 4 fix-it fic to make my heart happier.
This is purely based on MY HEADCANONS and ASSUMPTIONS from the recent SPOILERS.
WARNING: SPOILERS FROM SEASON 4 EPISODE 1
AO3
Fic under the cut:
“Am I so untrustworthy for you?”
Luka already regretted the words that escaped his mouth. ‘What am I saying?’
“That’s not it, Luka…” Marinette directed her gaze to the floor. “I really like you and I trust you but-” she bit her lip. ‘I can't tell you. It’s too dangerous for you to know’, she couldn’t finish.
Of course she wanted to tell her boyfriend the truth. Of course she wanted Luka by her side. And obviously she hated to interrupt their dates as much as he did. But it was because he was so important that she couldn’t get him involved- in danger! Especially when Hawk Moth knew he used to be Viperion and could take advantage of that.
She hated lying. She hated making Luka feel untrustworthy. Yet she could do nothing about it… Trapped with her guardian duties and responsibilities- the weight of the world on her shoulders with no way out...
“But what, Marinette?” his mouth moved on its own. “What’s holding you back? I want to help and be your support. Can't you rely on me?”
She couldn’t answer. She couldn’t tell him the truth he wanted to know, no matter how much she wished to.
Frustration turned into whimpering, and Luka felt the urge to hold her as he usually did.
But he couldn’t.
What was he even saying? Why was he pressuring his girlfriend into confessing something she clearly didn’t want to share? Maybe it was not fair to him- but it wasn’t fair to Marinette either.
His fist clenched so tight that his nails were sinking deep into his skin, hurting, but not as much as the pain tearing his heart apart.
'I made her cry. I promised to be there when she needed me. To let her be herself with me. To share only what she was willing to share. Yet- why did it turn into this? Why can’t I be reliable?'
He was lonely. He just wanted her to share her burden with him- to understand what was going on in her mind when her face sometimes turned dark, especially when she looked at the photo of the Chinese old man on her phone.
What kind of boyfriend was he, making his girlfriend uncomfortable like that?
It broke his heart to see her cry and be unable to do anything at all. ‘Why can’t I move? Why can’t I help her instead of making her feel worse? I just want to know the truth to support her!'
Before he could give it a better thought, a black butterfly entered the pendant Marinette had just given him that same day- before interrupting their date to the cinema, and silence engulfed him…
_______________________
What happened in-between that moment and the instant Ladybug appeared in front of him, casting her magical power was unknown to him.
He had been akumatized.
Again.
He had tried to force Marinette. Attacked her. Maybe even harmed her...
“Is Marinette ok!?” he nearly cried in front of a worried Ladybug, who nodded to his relief.
When Marinette came back to Luka, moments later, she had tears in her eyes- and he knew he was the reason for them. She jumped to his chest and said nothing. Her thin arms surrounded him in a strength he wasn’t aware she owned.
“I’m so sorry, Marinette. I should have never- I have no excuse”
“No, Luka. It’s ok to be upset. I would be upset too- No- I am upset too. You deserve better than what I can offer… I can’t keep making you feel like this…”
“No, that's not- Are you breaking up with me?”
“No! Yes… I don’t know! I- I don’t want to break up with you… But I can’t give you what you’re asking me. I can’t be better than I am. I don’t want to keep making you upset” she let him go taking a step back, eyes locked to her shoes. "I’m so sorry… I just want you to be happy” ‘and protect you’ she kept to herself.
Luka said nothing for a long minute.
And suddenly, he pulled her in a hurt hug, surprising the girl.
“I’ll always be around if you ever need my support...”
That said, Luka slowly broke the hug and turned his back to her as he started walking towards the Liberty.
“Luka!” Marinette cried. But if he heard her, he ignored her call. Her feet couldn't move as tears felt down her face. 'I can't. I have to let him go to protect him… even if it hurts so much...'
That night the kwamis tried to cheer Marinette up without much success, until she finally fell asleep after exhaustion from crying uncontrollably.
_____________
Back at his cabin, Juleka had a worried look, but didn't say anything. Luka closed the partition of their shared room and started playing to put his thoughts in order.
'What happened to me? How could I demand more from Marinette? Attack Marinette? Or whatever I might have done as an akuma. I should be happy that she returns my feelings. When did I become so greedy? Why can't that be enough? I should be supportive instead of putting more pressure on her shoulders. Why can't I just support her?'
'I really am untrustworthy…'
That was his found truth.
__________________
Months passed in isolation. If they ever met, there were short, cold awkwardly sad greetings and nothing more. She never came back to the Liberty again. She stopped contacting Juleka- but Luka’s sister assured it wasn’t his fault. He focused on his music, even if he could only compose sad songs that could never match Kitty Section's style.
It was one rainy day, during one of his deliveries, when Luka found Marinette crying at the park next to her house, curled behind a tree under the rain. She was looking absolutely broken, the most miserable he had ever seen her, and didn’t blink an eye before jumping down from his bike in a hurry to comfort her.
She desperately held him, in despair, stronger than the day they told each other their farewells.
“Marinette? What happened?” he asked in concern.
Marinette reacted to the voice she had deeply missed, and her pain grew wider in her heart.
“Luka… I- I can’t take it anymore…” she whimpered. “It's over. Lila won- I've been expelled for good and I’m all alone now… I have no friends, my parents don’t trust me and- and you-” ‘I miss you’ it almost escaped her.
“Lila? That liar?” he asked, surprising Marinette.
Of course he would know after meeting her… She let a weak affirmative hum out. “It’s over,” she repeated. "I hate it so much…"
She crumbled.
And, like always, Luka was there to comfort her. He had understood her better than anyone- and he even supported her despite the pain she had caused him.
Why didn’t she notice that fact earlier?
She needed his support. She could- she should have come to that decision earlier. He had proven to care about her more than anyone. Even when akumatized he never hurt her- the way he had touched her lips as silencer when she was Ladybug, avoiding being harmful to both herself and her superhero persona- and then again, as Truth, when he had changed his mind at the last moment and let her go without casting his spell on her…
“Marinette… We’ll fix this. You’ll always have me...” he paused, looking for a word that didn’t add even more conflict to her “As your ally- for whatever you need me”
Luka’s hurt voice rang in her ears, and his hope was the final straw to her determination.
“I am Ladybug…” she whispered, low enough for the rain to cover her voice, but loud enough for Luka to hear her, as his body jolted and his shocked face showed.
He pulled her even closer. His arms surrounded her weak body, his nose buried in her hair and his mouth pressed on the top of her hair.
Everything made sense, he realized. Too much sense. He felt stupid for not realizing it earlier.
“I’m so sorry- I could have never imagined the weight you carry on your shoulders. I’m sorry for not noticing earlier and being there when you needed me. I’m sorry for having pressured you to this point…” he silently lamented. “And I’m sorry you just had to tell me the truth you wanted to keep from everybody.”
“Luka… I- I can’t take it anymore. I’m sick of responsibilities, burdens, distrust… I’m more alone than ever… I don’t want to be alone- I don’t want to be the guardian anymore.”
“I wish you didn’t have to carry this weight alone. I already knew you were so amazing and strong… I never realized how much. But Marinette. You have me. Just tell me how I can help, and I’ll be your support whenever you need me to. I'll do everything I can… anything you need… Let me be your support. You don’t have to be alone anymo-"
Luka suddenly stood up, sentence unfinished, and Marinette turned to look at him.
"Use me.” he said, turning his back to her.
"Use you?"
She understood what he meant a second later when a dark feather and butterfly transformed him again into Truth, making Marinette gasp in absolute horror.
Shadow Moth had been aiming at her- she realized- and he had protected her.
Once again.
"Marinette. I'll expose Lila's lies for you. Just wait."
"No, Luka!" She cried. What if he attacks her as Ladybug? What if Hawk Moth entered his mind and found out her identity? She was too vulnerable to fight. Terrified. She needed someone- No. She needed to bring Luka back.
She couldn't give it a further thought before she transformed into Ladybug and followed him and his sentimonster.
The fight was over before she could step in.
Luka - Truth- had done it.
She saw with her own eyes how Lila's lies were exposed, in front of everyone. The faces of rage and betrayal from her friends. The regret of her parents… and Truth- Luka, broke his akumatized objects himself. He seemed to have never lost his conscience. Serene. Calm. Satisfied of his 'justice’.
And more than that he looked relieved. Relieved to see how all her friends started trying to contact Marinette to apologize.
"Ladybug!" He called, and she snapped out of it to purify both the akuma and the amok.
“Miraculous Ladybug!”
____________________
It had been months since Marinette last stepped into the Liberty, but the next day after Lila’s lies were exposed, her feet automatically moved there- remembering the path she had been happily taking a long time ago. Having hurt Luka's feelings made her awkward around him, and they unavoidably distanced themselves from each other, even if the strong feelings they felt for each other remained.
"Long time no see, lady." Anarka greeted. "Are you here to see Juleka?"
“Captain.” Marinette jumped a little. "I- ugh. No. I- I'm here to see Luka. Is he here?"
A relieved smile showed in the woman’s face. "He's at his cabin. Come in. You know the way."
The Liberty was even messier than she remembered, untidy and with dust everywhere. She wasn’t sure if that was a good or a bad thing, but she liked re-encountering with the ship’s familiarity.
And there was Luka. Meditating, exactly like the first time they met. She was staring, she knew- but she couldn’t keep her eyes off of him- fascinated and moved by his calm aura.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes to look at her, and her heart skipped a beat. "Lu- Lu- Luka" she nervously called.
"Ma- Ma- Marinette" he answered. But this time it didn't make her uncomfortable, but chuckle instead. Nostalgic.
He immediately welcomed her to sit next to him. And she followed his indication, sitting closer to him than that first time they met. She tilted her head to rest it on his shoulder and his hand moved to cover hers.
"Why did you do that? It was dangerous." she peacefully scolded him.
‘She really sounds like Ladybug’ Luka chuckled. "I was too angry at Lila and Hawk Moth to let him control me. And I couldn't let him akumatize you no matter what, right? Meditation sessions have been good to me- I followed Sass’s instructions"
‘Sneaky Sass’ She internally groaned, but she wasn’t angry. She was thankful instead.
"Why do you always go that far for me when I've been so unfair to you? When I’ve hurt you so much?" she worked the courage to ask. He smiled.
"I think you already know the answer."
She did. He never hid how he felt towards her, not even after they parted ways. And her heart warmed at the memory of his declaration of love. ‘His melody, his song’
"I thought you didn't want to see me anymore. I hurt you. I couldn't tell you the truth. I’ve been so unfair and mean to you-"
"I am the unfair one. I should have never pressured you and made you uncomfortable. It saddened me to see you suffering and hurt without being able to do anything for you. I should have respected your will. I'm sorry"
Marinette shook her head. "No- I should have trusted you more… I was scared something bad could happen to you… to everyone."
"I understand now. You don't have to apologize." He squeezed her hand softly.
Marinette looked up at him, but he had his eyes closed while he caressed her hand.
Ah- she had really missed his calm, his warmth, the feeling of being where she belongs…
"Luka-” she called, and Luka opened his eyes to look at her. “Is it too late for me to love you back? Would you give me a second chance?"
"I told you before, Marinette. I will always be here for you."
They said no more. Lips tenderly touched into the unfinished kiss of that day in the cinema, more heartfelt than ever. Closure to the scars left that day in their hearts. Another kiss followed, and a third. A more confident one ensued next, and another, before wrapping themselves into each other’s arms and letting their bodies fall on the bed. They stayed like that for a long while, snuggled together, enjoying the company, until the akuma alarm alerted them and marked her departure.
“I’m sorry- I have to go,” she said with an apologetic look.
“I understand. Be careful and get them.” he encouraged with his hand patting her hair. She giggled at his gesture, realizing how much lighter she felt after having shared her secret with her boyfriend.
After she left, he ripped the heart-broken melodies he had composed during their months of solitude and started composing a new one- a happy one.
When she came back, they found themselves thinking about their truth: he had always been trustworthy and she had too much pressure on her shoulders to bear alone.
But she was not alone anymore. The balance their relationship had lacked turned now into a heart song that played in unison.

🌹🍄🍁🍂💐🌼 For Rennie ouo) + plz 💫🌠💦 And this this for you www I hope this is ok- Ah and if Rennie like hug, can I hug his ;7;)????
[ waaa thank you so much this was a lot of fun!!! And of course you can hug him!!! Just be prepared to pay up with an iced coffee in return, hehe~ ]
🌹 :  While Rennie would obviously consider his little hut in the forest his Home, he was surprised to learn simply being at NRC felt the most comfortable long-term. The Valley of Thorns still holds a lot of conflicting memories for him and he finds simply being at school, surrounded by friends and his fellow magicians makes him feel more like himself than being reminded of the ongoing tension in his world. While Rennie is a very big family person and cares for each very deeply, his older brother Brier is easily that person that makes him feel safe and at home. Home to Rennie is a warm, welcoming environment free of woe and filled with the people who will stick by your side. 🍄 : If his iced coffee doesn’t count as a snack, Rennie also enjoys baked sweets and chilled treats like ice cream- even if it makes his fangs hurt haha! His comfort food is his family’s herb stew, made with the fresh produce gathered from outside their home. Rennie sadly isn’t the best cook but he can manage making soups, noodle dishes, and eggs. Anything he can throw into a cauldron and forget about for a few hours, he’d say! He wants to get better at baking but his attention span often leads to kitchen accidents...much to his mother’s dismay for raising a well-rounded magician. 🍁 :  If the halls of Diasomnia’s dorm aren’t quiet, Rennie is often found looking for any sort of foliage/garden to relax at. Being around nature and embracing the cool air always did wonders for Rennie’s peace of mind. While not located at NRC, Rennie has a spot in the Valley just past the river that he has claimed as his own. It’s surrounded in thick brush, vines, and the echoing sound of the waterfall in the distance. He likes to bring his basket full of tomes and music to chill alone with the animals. ---- more under read more! -----
🍂 :  Rennie is very peculiar when it comes to affection. He will gladly give it to others of his own accord- very excitedly. However, receiving it back from people he doesn’t trust can often put him on edge. Even then, his affection simply involves hugs, hand holding and resting his head on their shoulder. Humans are a very special case though where he would loudly hum that a hug from him would surely snap them in half- hinting of his wary emotions involving humans. 💐 :  Gosh Rennie is a mess hahaha. While having days to rest in bed are great, all the icky feelings that come with being sick or injured are not fun. In the first few weeks joining Magift club, Rennie got knocked unconscious by a thrown disc during a match and had to spend a few days in the infirmary- much to his frustration. While he LOVES being doted on, he does it in the most gremlin and teasing of ways. Playing up his act to 100, whining and reaching out to whoever is caring with him with the puppy eyes until he gets what he wants. Always with a laugh. He’ll milk it for all it’s worth, though of course thank them for their care. Rennie is a pretty good caretaker, used to caring for his baby sister when he’s home from school after all! Just don’t expect food besides soup or noodles. Anything more and you may be welcomed with something inedible. 🌼 :  Rennie is still in development so he hasn’t had much time meeting others but his best friend is my friend’s oc, Cyril! We’re still working out some background info but for now we seem to agree they met at their entrance ceremony. Rennie is very good at perceiving vibes and intentions from others and something about Cyril seemed to click with him. He was disappointed when Cyril was not only sorted into Octavinelle but also realized they weren’t in the same class. They’re both people who can be perceived as sweet but with a dangerous side to them after all. uHHHHHH I have NO idea probably not though they’re chill being besties kdfjgdfj. Rennie looks for someone who is true to themselves, willing to put up a fight when things happen. Someone who respects his past and his feelings involving the Valley and why he wants to become a strong magician. Someone who can put up with his trickster side too. 💫:  Definitely his past lore! I got to use my love for Grimm fairytales to make it close to the original tale. The briar thorns in old versions shielded the princess for 100 years- only blooming to beautiful roses on that fateful night to welcome the final prince into her resting place. I wanted the three siblings to represent the changes in the Briar during the curse. Brier the more fearsome, dangerous beginning. Rennie was the protector, entrapping the other knights and princes who tried to invade their domain, and Folia the beautiful new beginning as the Roses. My personal headcanon is young fae are susceptible to uncontrollable magic as they’re maturing and learning- especially their unique magic. Rennie’s, or rather at this time ‘Thorne’s was prone to causing very strong hallucinations. Ones he would use to weave perfect playtime scenarios with the human friends he had. But that day, play went too far and the human child got severely injured due to not perceiving reality as it was. Humans thought he deliberately hurt the child- adding fire to the growing fire of humans fearing Faes for their magical abilities. Brier took the brunt of the rage, shielding Thorne from their curses. Brier’s words about the ancient princess’ tale they were named after still rings heavy in his head even as he separated himself from that name for his sanity. “Humans perceived the briar as disgusting, evil plants that trapped the princess and her kingdom. However, did they not shield them for 100 years, protecting their bodies until the curse was lifted? Humans fear that they don’t understand. I feel the Great Thorn Witch also grew resentful of their hatred for our kind.” 🌠:  I rate Rennie 8-10 BABY!!! He is definitely a cutie but he can hold his own and definitely has his strength. You don’t want to mess with him but if you’re nice, he’s a sweetie 💦 :   HAHAHAHA THE PAST. WITH HIS NAME. its really messed up to tie into the human/fae distrust lore we know Valley of Thorns already has. Sorry Rennie you just needed a sad plot point for good measure.

UA  KIDS  GO  HARD!                   There is NO denying that. Imai Kazane is no exception!
Please, allow me to go off this time about how Kazane, holder of a CONDUIT type quirk.. can-- and with growth-- WILL go fucking HAM.  Her quirk, briefly described: The ability to ABSORB, (& utilize for her own benefit), and PASS ON energy.   Hence.. Conduit.;;  Energy seems to be drawn to her in some fashion, at times without her even realizing her quirk has activated-- and as such, she sometimes has difficulty controlling her quirk due to it’s somewhat volatile nature. She’s practicing control and restraint everyday.
Below, I will be talking about how, with proper training and patience (& with help from the one and only one lunged, puppy dog of a teacher-- ahem. Andi Williamson--) Kazane will learn how to not only control, but use and expand on the power that has ruined her life up until now, and caused others to fear her, and write her off as not only dangerous, but as an undesirable.        Kazane has a terrifying power. One capable of true Devastation at it’s peak potential, and only in due time, will she realize  just  how  strong  she  truly  can  be.  And with the expansion of her abilities and potential,  she will... in time.. come to be able to harness the even the very energy from the sun itself.
Let me preface this by stating... Kazane has been mistreated, without exaggeration, ALL of her life. This is a general CONTENT WARNING for this muse to those who may read it. There will be mention of abuse, of bad home life, and of bullying and mental illness throughout her writing and interactions.  That is part of her, forever.
I hold so much love for all of my characters, but let me talk about IMAI KAZANE for a hot second.  My .. little,  precious child.  Who deserves... so much better.  And so,  is going to work to have so much better than she has had.  She can be dark, and frightening, but there’s no mistaking that light in her heart that tells her that SHE CAN BE GOOD. She can be MORE than what others have told her she will be.  More than a destroyer, or a force that only can TAKE.   She’s going to GIVE it her best shot, here at UA, with the help of her friends, and her mentor, VEGAS, a young, mostly retired hero who too, is trying to be better.
In the past, her quirk has given her a lot of trouble, and it has forced her to become a loner, for fear she may accidentally hurt someone... again.  And out of distrust for others due to her long-time mistreatment and the fear others hold for her ability to turn living things into a husk of what it formerly was. She has never killed anyone,   but she has seriously harmed others on several occasions.  Always by accident.  mostly.
Something inside of her flipped like a light switch at the end of middle school.  She found out her quirk was not simply VAMPIRIC, as it was originally assumed. With the discovery that she could, with some effort, RETURN energy she has leeched, she was determined to enter UA high, and to learn how to better understand her quirk as well as how to use it safely, and in a way that is useful.
‘ A vampiric quirk like that, where you only steal from                      others--   is something only a villain could have...’
She is determined to show that she too, someone with a frightening quirk,  can be more than what the world expects of her, or assumes she can and cannot be.   When she discovered by accident one day that her quirk was not what she thought it was (nor what everyone ELSE thought it was)... It opened doors she never even knew existed for her. She was terrified and overjoyed at the same time.  For the first time in her life,                                 . . .   SHE  HAD  HOPE.
She started on her training, relentlessly practicing,  overworking herself,  overusing her quirk to the point she’s made herself sick on more than one occasion.  Kazane was determined to change how things were for her... Because, she realized, no one else was going to do it for her. So she would not settle for less any longer. And that included her living situation with her current foster family.  Overall,   she will have made a momentous overhaul to her life after passing the entrance exams for UA.  She passed, though just barely. Everyone was much quicker, much stronger, and knew how to use their quirk in creative ways. She wouldn’t be able to show her true strengths until the sports festival, where she will have had much more time and practice with her newfound abilities.
__            *     Kazane is a troubled individual. She has been since childhood--  where most of her problems began.  She has a darkness inside of her heart from her experiences in life, and it comes out most when she’s, of course, having a bad day... Or when she’s fighting.          Given an enemy or opponent,  Kazane has shown that she can be quite ruthless and cruel.  Her hatred and anger is something she will forever carry in her heart, and she uses that to her advantage.  RAGE is her motivation.  Rage at her mistreatment,  abuse,  neglect,  and the general state of the world and the suffering of herself,  and other people.  When she grows,   it  will  evolve  into  OUTRAGE.   Despite her overall quiet,  calm, though melancholy  demeanor--  she holds this anger in her heart like a burning coal, and stokes it to flames when necessary.
If, say, during a situation like the attack on UA-- she’s faced with a genuine enemy who wishes to do harm to her or her classmates.. She’ll go all out, and won’t hold back. If someone wants to truly hurt others,  and she is faced with them,  she will treat them as they treat others.    She wouldn’t kill them (if she continues down the Hero route)  But if she allows herself,  she will become.. a rather frightening person to them,  and to anyone unfortunate enough to witness her using them to lash out on.    She believes that those who mistreat or hurt others for their own gain, or simply because... They Can... are truly despicable.  And are deserving of punishment and any justice that may be brought upon them.   She does not... and will not stand for these kinds of people-- some of the same kinds who have made her life a living hell-- to be allowed to continue to ruin the lives of others, or to cause further suffering.
Despite her frightening anger and self troubles and darkness and all... Kazane, at her core... Is Light.  She has difficulty expressing herself and often sounds cold, or seems shy... But beneath it,  she is kind.  Or... she wants to be.   She’s trying her best to be the best version of herself that she possibly can. She’s angry,  and hurt,  and troubled, yes. But she’s passionate and feels deeply for those who have, or are suffering.  She wants to do good in the world, and to be a source of HOPE to those who need it most. Above all,   she wants to be the hero she wished she had growing up. _     Kazane, while working with Andi, has improved DRASTICALLY. He encourages and supports her in ways that she has never experienced with another person. She gets angry and tired sometimes, and becomes frustrated when she doesn’t improve or understand how she could possibly do something.  But with much patience, and a little help... And a little hard love, when needed...   She’s able to overcome these obstacles.  Andi has helped to teach Kazane to improve her overall abilities, in her quirk and in herself. He has helped improve her critical thinking,  and to see through her emotions when they threaten to cloud her judgement.         He uses his own experiences as examples when needed,  wishing for her not to repeat any mistake that left him with life-altering consequences.
AND THEN,  came the discussion that would change everything for her.  It’s been discussed,  analyzed,  and thought through.  And deemed dangerous,  but worth the try... if it can be controlled.  Any signs that it could possibly go haywire and bring their student to harm,  and it would be stopped immediately.     Though some may find it fantastical or ridiculous... The topic of discussion being...                 That the sun,  is sometimes thought of...as a living thing.
Who’s to say that she COULDN’T harness the energy from the sun?  She doesn’t need to TOUCH anything to absorb energy...  So why would solar energy be any different? It’s all molecules, isn’t it?       THIS will be the ultimate test for Kazane, and the ULTIMATE show of the true extent of her power.  She has to meditate, build her tolerance, endurance, and concentration-- and push to the very limits of the CONTROL she holds over her own powers. And then push even beyond that.     Andi has made it very clear to her,  that the sun is an endless well of power she could potentially tap into.  And be that as it may,   it also means that it could endlessly fill her,  and destroy her  if her control slips for even a second.
Having too much energy, or more energy than she’s used to carrying in her body causes her great pain.  Extended use of her quirk, and hoarding of excess energy if continued will eventually degrade her soft tissue, and in turn, will cause joint, tendon, and issues related to her internal organs.       Having too much energy, and continuing to fill her cells with it far beyond her limits will essentially turn her into a walking atomic bomb... if she can even walk at that point.    This is her OVERCHARGED state.  And her most dangerous / powerful one,  where if she is still conscious and capable of fighting, she can unleash powerful and devastating attacks that she otherwise would not be able to use.  The downside, aside from.. you know. the sensation of every cell in her body burning,  is the Uncontrolled Damage.
Because of her quirk,  she actually suffers from chronic pain.  She has tested her limits more than once,  and it in turn, caused herself lasting damage to her joints.  The issues she has are minimal at this point in her life,  but if she were to continue without the use of any support items, it’s likely she may very well be through with her career by the time she’s forty.. if she can push herself that far.

Indestructible  (Klaus x Reader x Vanya)
Ep 3. Extra Ordinary
Warning: Mention of drugs (cocaine/weed are abused in this series), Swearing, Pretty gay, Female POV but can be easily changed if needed, SPOILERS, it follows the same story line as the show so there’s a ton, gore
Word Count: 1.6k+
//
You and Vanya had broken up a year before when you saw her book in the stores. The jolt in your heart was extreme and left you shocked in the middle of the sidewalk for a second. Obviously you rushed in and bought it and started reading immediately on your walk to the record store.
Disappointingly, there was absolutely nothing about you.
//
After seeing the video of Reginald's death, you were unfazed. It was totally obvious that he’d killed himself. And you thought that that was the general consensus so you, admittedly, spaced out. Switching between Vanya, who was listening intently, and Klaus, half paying attention. How you managed to have feelings for a quarter of the academy was… If anything inconvenient. Your attention was drawn back, however, when Grace was brought up.
“Well if her hardware's degrading then- we need to turn her off.” Luther stated, making your jaw drop from your position next to a pillar by Hargreeves’ bar.
“Whoa whoa whoa, wait she’s not just a vacuum cleaner you can throw in a closet she feels things, I've seen it!”
“She just stood there, Diego, and watched our father die!”
“I’m with Luther,” Allison butted in. Making you roll your eyes as Klaus passed you to lean against the pillar next to you. You both exchanged a look of exasperation.
“Surprise surprise.” Diego mocked.
“Shut up,” Allison sneered. All eyes were on Vanya as she stumbled over her words for a second.
“Yeah she shouldn’t get a vote.”
“Alright well,” You were about to defend her when she finally spoke up.
“I was gonna say that I agree with you.”
“Okay, she gets a vote.” Diego smirks, “What about you stoner boy, whatta you got?”
“Oh, so what? You need my help now-well get outta the van Klaus, well welcome back to the van,” He answered, mocking Luther, making you snicker, which naturally filled him with a sense of accomplishment and made his heart flutter.
“What van?” Allison asked.
“What’s it gonna be, Klaus.” Luther changed the subject.
“I’m with Diego because screw you! And if Ben were here, he’d agree with me.” He hissed at the space next to you, making you giggle, assuming Ben’s presence. Diego pointed at you, happy with his majority of votes.
“No, no. She actually doesn’t get a vote.” Luther growled, making you gasp, Diego brushed him off encouraging your vote.
“So she’s losing her mind, I lost mine ages ago.” You say shrugging, making Diego pump a fist in the air.
“So whats that four to two.” Diego smirked holding the ratio on his fingers.
“It’s not final yet.” Allison pushed.
“What?”
“Five’s not here.” Klaus sighed, patting your shoulder before exiting. You followed but parted ways to see your old room.
Sadly it wasn’t much better than your current home. Small and cramped. But posters lined every inch of the previously bare and boring walls. And the small bits that couldn't be covered had been painted with the nail polish that had been such a connecting force for you and the siblings. Whether it was bonding with Allison, joking around with Klaus and Ben, or getting to know Vanya.
You two had such a strong connection. She was warm and sweet and vulnerable and beautiful. You wished she knew that. You had your first kiss in that room. With her, when you two were sixteen. She left months later, leaving you to chase after her.
You brushed your suddenly teary eyes, holding a light blue bottle in your hands, remembering her favorite color. You closed the door behind you and placed the bottle back in the basket under your bed. You turned and take a look at yourself in the mirror that was lazily leaning against the dresser and the wall. It had fallen once during an... incident. And you never bothered to put it back up. You looked different, so different from your once open and bubbly self.
You brushed some hair behind your ear and went through some of your old books, it had been years since you’d been there and weirdly it wasn’t full of awful memories like everywhere else in the house.
Gun shots from upstairs take your mind off the books immediately. You ran, automatically searching for Vanya seeing as she was basically helpless against anything dangerous. You rush the living room where you see a man with a blue bear mask corner her.
A bubbling rage soars through your veins and you shake your head desperately trying to get control. You step in front of her eyes glowing yellow. The man steps back, shocked at your agility and appearance. You turn to Vanya and your nerves calmed, as they always did when you looked at her. You shook your head again and your eyes returned to their natural color.
“Run, hide, tell Klaus if you see him.” You whisper, she nods and you pounce on the prick the moment she turn the corner. You take his gun and completely tear it to shreds as you blank into your enraged form.
When you settle down the masked intruder is long gone and exhaustion over took you. You pulled yourself together and raced into the hallway to search for him. He meets you there and slams a heave spiked morning star into your lower half. Your intestines revolt against the metal and you crouch to the floor as wave after wave of pain sears through you.
“God, that hurts like a bitch, man,” You groan removing and swaying the bloody weapon back to him. You stand, to his shock and from the holes in your shirts he sees your organs heal and the muscles and skin tissue recombine in your abdomen Your eyes glow again and a shot rings out as you collapse back on the ground. Blood streaming from your forehead.
//
You were fifteen and had been at the academy for a couple of days, getting used to the swing of things. All you knew it that you were part of the 43. At fourteen you had been hit by a bus when riding your bike in the busy streets of New York. Your mother's heart was shattered, sobbing over your unconscious body. You were awake and completely healed by the time the paramedics had arrived.
Your mother decided it was best to at least see Dr. Hargreeves for your new found power. He was… As thrilled as a sociopathic alien could be. You decide to stay for the summer.
So here you were chatting with your new friends and gushing over a certain quiet girl in the corner who was basically begging for attention. Your attention was elsewhere now as you were discussing your powers with Klaus.
“That’s awful.” You frown. He shrugged, insisting it wasn’t a big deal, trying to impress the new pretty girl as was his brother and sisters. Luther was uninterested and annoyed, distrustful of you, and Ben gushed over you, though you couldn’t see him. Five had been gone for years.
“Number Eight,” A commanding voice echoed from his lab.
“Ooh, I have a number now,” You smirk, swaying back to the old man after getting a laugh from Klaus, who was genuinely worried for your safely.
“Sit in the chair,” Reginald instructed back to you and preparing your notes. You did as instructed and were strapped into the device. “Starting with 3 mA.” He started, having Grace pull a lever. An aggressive shock ran through your body. You yelped clenching the arms of the chair.
“What the hell?” You cried when the shocks stopped, Reginald ignored you taking a note.
“10 mA.” He mumbled. Your body convulsed with the current making you scream and your arms to twitch involuntarily.
After 30 mAs you were gasping for breath and coughing your lungs out. All very common reactions to the amount of electricity your body was receiving.
“2000 mAs.” Hargreeves announced, excitedly? You roared at the shock, your heart stomped uncontrollably and your breath aching in your throat. Your arms and fingers clenching. Fianlly you lied still.
In an almost panic Hargreeves stood, Grace’s hands shook as she looked at your unconscious, lifeless body.
After fifteen minutes you awoke, gasping for air but otherwise physically fine.
“Marvelous,” He muttered writing every second down.
//
Diego walked in to you passed out on Grace’s lap. “She’ll just be another hour or so.” Your head wound had scarred over and your breathing was slow as your body healed itself. Diego sighed staring at his beloved mother with regret and disappointment.
“Mom did you hear anything that was happened down there?” He begged. She didn’t answer, she just continued to stroke your locks out of your face. Diego’s eyes traveled to your exposed arms at the scars from the treatment you had received as a child. They were the only things that ever remained. No matter what injury. Just scars. “Let me take her, mom.” He sighed picking you up with ease and setting you on the couch in the living room before returning to his caregiver.
//
You wake up in Diego’s lap he stared at one of the animal heads on the wall deep in thought. You shot up, surprising him. “Where’s Klaus?” You asks, your gut screaming at you that something was wrong.
“I don’t know I haven’t seen him since this morning,” You stumbled upstairs. “(Y/N) come back you need to rest!” You ignored him, passing Vanya and looking everywhere, “He disappears sometimes. It’s nothing new.” You sighed and picked up the Walkman from his bedroom floor. Something was off and you knew it.
//
From Reginald Hargreeves’ notes, July 9th 2004
Subject (Y/F/N) has proven to show that she is very capable of dealing with immense pressure and pain. It is my diagnosis that she has powers such as self regeneration. Studies will continue with various different activities to test her limits and abilities.

Fic: The Beginning of Wisdom - Chapter 16 (Ao3 link)
Fandom: Flash, Legends of Tomorrow Pairing: Leonard Snart (Len) & Leonard Snart (Leo), Len Snart/Mick Rory, Leo Snart/Mick Rory, Len Snart/Mick Rory/Leo Snart, Leo Snart/Ray Terrill, Len Snart/Barry Allen
Summary: In which Leonard Snart is twins.
(the life and times and loves of Len and Leo Snart)
—————————————————————————————————–
“Well, that definitely happened,” Len said, rolling his eyes, the second they were away from an active battle. Leo had disappeared, of course; he’d probably gone back to the medical wing.
God, they were good at this; Len was honestly amazed that they hadn’t been spotted yet.
This whole spaceship was smaller than their house growing up. How were these people so unobservant?
Mick snorted in agreement.
"How'd you get outside so quick?" Jax asked Len, then promptly forgot the question as the conversation shifted into yelling.
Yelling, and revelations.
Apparently, Captain Rip Hunter had omitted some key facts regarding "their" mission, namely the fact that there wasn't one, that he was a wanted fugitive, and that he was fucking with time for purely selfish purposes.
"So, based on your now-established willingness to lie, cheat, and kidnap for your own motives, regardless of what anyone tells you, does that mean we can steal whatever we want?" Len asked curiously.
"No!"
"What about if it's from this Average guy?" Mick asked.
"His name is Savage," Rip said testily. "And yes, if it is within the mission parameters –"
"Parameters set by a captain who started this whole thing by lying and kidnapping?" Stein asked, affronted. "I think not."
"Well, that's pretty hypocritical of you, Grey," Jax said, crossing his arms. "Given how I got here."
"Jefferson –"
"Don't want to hear it," Jax said, holding up a hand. "Snart, what do you think?"
He was asking Len?
No – he was asking Leonard. He must have encountered Leo and been charmed.
Len felt his heart softening, just a little – he's always appreciated people who appreciated his brother – and hastily spoke before Jax could get any further under his skin, "In my view –"
"Why are you asking him?" Palmer – Len had more than enough ‘Ray’ in his life, thank you – interrupted, looking appalled. "He's a thief! And a liar!"
"Who better to judge another liar?" Jax asked. That made no sense, in Len’s view, but whatever.
"Good point," Sara said. Her arms were also crossed. "I signed up to be a hero, not an assassin-for-hire for some random jerk with a good line."
"Sara –"
"Ms. Lance is fine," she snapped.
"We still need to kill Savage," the male hawk said. "Kendra and I – our lives depend on it, no matter what Captain Hunter's motivations are."
"Don't see why we can't continue for a bit longer," Len said, since Jax and Sara were still looking at him. "Some of us, at least, joined for the time travel, not the heroism. Since the hawk duo need this to happen anyway, we can check off everyone's boxes: kill Savage like they need, heroes like you want, travelling through time like we want."
"An eminently reasonable decision, Mr. Snart," Rip said, pleased. "And since I am the only one who knows where –"
"Can we trust Captain Hunter?" Jax interrupted, ignoring him.
"Definitely not," Mick grunted.
"Mick's right," Len said. "Trust is earned. We take his advice, since he's the time travel expert, but he ain’t in charge. That's just asking for trouble."
"I beg your pardon!" Hunter exclaimed.
"Then who is in charge?" Palmer challenged. "You?"
"Blondie," Len said, nodding at a shocked-looking Sara. He didn't know why; she was the obvious choice. "She's a credible hero, she wants to be a hero more than all of us put together – except maybe you – and she's got tactical skills."
"I also have uncontrollable bloodlust," Sara hissed.
"So does Hawkadee here," Mick pointed out, jerking a thumb at Kendra, the girl-hawk. "Judging by what I just saw."
"So –"
"So we deal with it. Haircut can be your second-in-command," Mick said. "He'll keep you in line with his blasters and unbearable perky optimism. Like a set of a brakes - he'll knock you out of the rage if you get stuck in it."
Palmer brightened. "So, wait, I'm – does that make me Riker?"
"Basically," Len said, barely keeping himself from rolling his eyes. Palmer was like a kid in a toy store with this whole space thing.
Len couldn’t exactly blame him, of course, but still.
"This entire discussion is immaterial! I am the only one trained in time travel –" Rip started.
"And we're willing to respect your expertise there. But thus far, you've shown us that you're willing to lie to our faces, which ain't exactly a trait I like to see in someone I'm going to trust giving me life-and-death orders in the field," Len said. "You're the pilot and navigator, and you can help with strategy, but that's it."
"Who gives you the authority to make these decisions?!" Rip demanded.
"The fact that you felt you need us to defeat Savage," Kendra snapped. "All of us. Your lies got Aldo – got my son – killed, because we weren't prepared to be chased and shot at. You want Carter and I and the rest of us to help defeat Savage and save your wife and son? Fine. But we do it on our terms. And you know you can't do anything without Carter and me."
"Kendra's right," Carter said, wrapping an arm around her. "Take it or leave it."
Rip looked around, but everyone's nodding.
Now, Len reflected, would be a great moment to bring up the twin thing. There was a certain sense of comradery established among the group, even respect for his judgment, however conditional.
He opened his mouth. "I –"
Nothing came out.
He tried again.
His lips moved, shaping empty words with no sound. His throat was dry, he noticed suddenly; his chest hurt, a ball of tightness right beneath his sternum. His head felt like it was ringing; his ears like they had cotton stuffed into them.
He froze up.
He never froze up.
What the hell?
"– under the circumstances, I suppose I can't blame you for your distrust," Rip was saying, sounding a little ungracious but like he was trying to see them as human beings and equals rather than convenient pawns – Sara had had some choice words on that subject while Len went mute. "I do appreciate your willingness to continue with the mission."
"It's our mission, too," Kendra said.
"Besides, heroes don't do what they do just to get remembered," Palmer said, though his tone was wistful. "They do it because it's the right thing to do."
"Not heroes," Sara corrected. "Legends."
"Boss, you okay?" Mick muttered. He looked concerned.
Len shook himself out of his stupor and added a biting, "I refuse to sign on to any stupid team names," before Rip started explained what he thought would be the best next step – presented to the team and explained in advance, at their insistence, despite Rip's original instinct to explain on the way.
They’d had enough of explanations given ‘on the way’ by now.
Mick took the opportunity to draw Len aside. "What happened just there?"
Len shook his head. "Froze up."
"You never freeze up," Mick objected.
"That's because I do the freezing," Len automatically replied, though his heart wasn't in it.
"Boss. Seriously. What happened?"
"I don't know," Len lied. He did know, or, at least, he had a serious suspicion regarding what had happened – but he didn't want his suspicion to be right. "Drop it. We’ll talk about it later."
Mick shrugged and dropped it, if by dropped it one meant that he announced loudly that he was going to take a piss before they headed out to the nuclear arms auction Savage was apparently spearheading in Scandinavia, in what had to be the least subtle decision to go talk to Leo about something ever.
Len wondered if Leo would have had the same problem, if he had been the one on the bridge.
He wondered what Leo would tell Mick, when he asked.
"Len doesn't freeze up," Leo objected.
"I know!" Mick exclaimed. "But this was definitely that."
"Any physical tells as to what he was feeling?"
"Rubbed his chest," Mick said. "Like a panic attack."
Leo frowned. He'd been eavesdropping on the bridge conversation with Gideon's assistance – she liked him, apparently, since it turns out that most people just forgot she was there or treated her without respect and he didn't – and there hadn't been anything worthy of a panic attack.
Especially not at the moment Mick mentioned – if anything, that moment seemed to be one of victory, in which Len was listened to and respected by the team.
In fact, at the time, it had occurred to Leo that it would have been a great time to introduce the fact that they were twins.
To just – lay it out there.
In the open.
For everyone to know about.
Leo's chest was hurting. He rubbed at it.
"You're doing it too!" Mick exclaimed. "What the hell – you allergic to time travel or something?"
"Mr. Snart is not suffering from an allergic reaction," Gideon interjected. "Insofar as he is displaying any atypical symptoms, they far more similarly resemble the stress or panic response."
Mick blinked. "It is a panic attack? But why?"
"I think," Leo said, picking his words carefully, "that we – that is, Len and I – that we..."
He trailed off.
"That you what?"
"I think we might have a problem," Leo said. He didn't particularly like the idea.
"What problem –"
"I apologize for interrupting, Mr. Rory," Gideon said. "But Captain Hunter is asking for you to return to the bridge for take-off."
"Go on," Leo said. "I'll talk to Len about this later; we'll resolve it."
Mick looked torn, but after a moment, he went.
Leo returned to the medical bay and sat down, putting his head in his hands and closing his eyes to think.
It'd been all well and good to blithely agree to unmasking themselves in front of Ray and Barry and Lisa, who were deemed safe, who were safe, but it turned out that the reality of it was proving a bit more – problematic.
A lot more problematic.
The words wouldn't come, the very thought gave rise to panic –
When had it become a problem, acknowledging that they were two instead of one? Or had it always been that way?
No – as children, it had definitely not been so bad; each one had prided himself on being better at something than the other. Yes, they had prized their ability to switch places, a necessity of safety, but there wasn't this almost pathological insistence on equity, on balance, on secrecy.
They'd gone from being two people comfortable in one skin to trying their utmost to actually be one person split between two bodies.
And as much as Leo felt comfortable with the way things were – far more comfortable than with the thought of changing things – he knew far too well that a situation like that was not sustainable. They were twins: they could play whatever games of identity they wanted on other people, but playing that same game on themselves was unacceptable. Now that it had become a problem, now that they knew it was a problem, they would have to face up to it.
"Mr. Snart?"
Leo roused himself. "Yes, Gideon? Sorry, I was thinking."
"Brooding," she corrected, with a touch of humor. "I merely wished to inform you that the landing party has returned."
"Did they stop the sale?"
"Yes – they stole the nuclear missile and detonated it safely."
"...detonated. Safely. A nuke."
"Firestorm drained it of much of its nuclear power first."
"Thanks, but I'm still stuck on detonated."
"I will conceded that their means of resolving the issue was not exactly – subtle."
"Gideon, has anyone ever told you that you have a wonderful way with understatement?"
"Ah – no," she replied, sounding extremely pleased. "Not in quite those words, no."
"Well, you do," Leo said firmly. "Never stop. I assume it all went to hell and everyone started shooting?"
"That's correct."
"Who screwed up?"
"I hesitate to cast blame," Gideon said diplomatically, then added, "From the conversation the crew is having, it appears that Professor Stein misspoke, thereby revealing their presence to Savage."
Clever girl. Snarky, too.
Leo shook his head. "Why are they still yelling, then?" He could hear them from the medical bay, which he was quickly slinking out of in favor of the bedrooms in the event that someone needed medical attention following their battle.
"Well –" Gideon started.
Then she cut off, because it turned out that Leo’s slinking wasn’t quite slinky enough.
"Snart, meet us at the bridge," Sara ordered, sweeping by him as she marched in the direction of the medical bay. "We're going to need your skills."
Leo shrugged affirmatively in her direction, made like he was heading to the bay until she was out of sight, then ducked into a bedroom like he'd intended in the first place.
(It was a good thing he and Len had decided to wear the same outfit...)
A second later, before he could ask Gideon to continue, there was a knock at the door.
Leo paused, unsure of how to answer it – he should reveal himself, he knew that, and yet –
The door opened and Len slipped in.
Leo exhaled, hard, and embraced him.
"I can't believe they haven't noticed yet," Len muttered, his cheek pressed against Leo's. "I thought for sure – but no, they've been ridiculously single-minded."
"Or come up with explanations for themselves for it," Leo agreed, thinking of Jax. And of Sara, just now. "Not the worst result; it gives us more time to think of how to introduce it. Anyway, Mick told me..."
"Yeah. Couldn't do it."
"Neither could I. I think this might be a problem, Leonard."
"I don't want it to be a problem, Leonard," Len replied quietly, a touch of whine in his voice. If it was a problem, then they'd have to deal with it. He didn't want that.
What was wrong with the way they were?
Leo understood. "I don't, either," he said gently. "But you know it is. That's why Barry and Ray supported this trip so much – they know that the lines between us are getting too blurry to uphold."
"There should be no lines between us."
Leo had trouble disagreeing, but –
"We always agreed that our bond came first," he reminded Len. "But you can't have a bond between one person and himself. If we lose who we are..."
Len sighed, acknowledging the point. Their switches were supposed to be the trading off of a mask, and a mask was not supposed to become reality. That path led to even more problems down the line.
"Now isn't the best time to deal with it, though," he said. "The boyscout just fucked up history."
Leo sighed. Of course he had.
"He left a piece of his tech for Savage to find," Len continued. "Apparently it takes a few decades, but – imagine an army of remote-controlled ATOM suits."
"No, thanks; I don't like dystopias. You're going to go retrieve the piece, I assume? Sara wanted you to go to the bridge."
"No, Sara and Rip are leading the recovery team," Len said. "I'm assigned to a nice, easy little B&E."
Leo pulled back to look at Len skeptically. "Nice and easy," he echoed. "On this team. On this mission, in which nothing has gone the way it should even once. Right. Sure. If I might ask, breaking and entering where?"
"Some Russian millionaire's house, looking for antiquities." Len laughed at Leo's irritated expression, and added, "Apparently Savage can only be killed with an item present at the time he and the Hawks were all hit by magic meteors and got their reincarnation-slash-immortality powers."
"Who the fuck is this guy," Leo said, "Koschei the Deathless? We gonna have to run after a rabbit and fly after a duck to get his heart out of a diamond or something?"
"Don't tempt fate," Len said dryly. "Here, have a comm so you can keep up with what we're doing as we go after the dagger – yes, we're going to steal a magic dagger, don't make that face at me, I didn't come up with this plan –"
Leo took the comm and rolled his eyes. "Thanks," he said. "Just what I've always wanted, a front-row seat at a 'nice and easy' B&E."
"Shut up."
"I know how boring those are."
"I said shut up."
"Gideon, could you tune this so it's just the two of us on it? I feel like announcing it by having two identical voices on comms is not the best way to break it to people."
"Certainly, Mr. Snart. While it would be amusing, you are almost certainly correct that it is likely less than ideal."
"Glad to see you're making friends," Len said.
"Gideon is lovely; I'll introduce you properly later."
Len grinned. He'd always liked stories about AIs.
"Speaking of lovely, like I said, Sara wanted me to go to the bridge, and she might come looking if we don't," Leo added. "Better get moving, Ilya Tsarevich; you don't want to miss your Firebird."
"Who needs a Firebird?" Len shot back. "We've already got Firestorm."
"Huh. Point. Wow, what a lost naming opportunity..."
"You can take it up with Cisco when we get back."
"Snart!" Sara shouted over the comms.
"Gotta run," Len said.
"We still need to figure out what we're going to do about our problem," Leo reminded him.
Len made a face. "Yes," he said. "We do. But not now. Baby steps – we'll tell them all about it when we get back from this mission, okay? Together. That way neither of us has to do the talking."
Leo nodded. "Show, not tell. Sounds like a plan. Good luck."
"Just don't tell me to break a leg," Len quipped, and left to go to the bridge.

You’re back?
With the recent leak of Lapis footage, I decided I wanted to write something. So the following is a nice short fic of pure angst! Enjoy!
Lapis landed outside of the crater where her home once stood, a home she had built together with someone she had considered a friend, or at least that's how it looked to everyone else. In reality, their relationship was a tense one, feelings of distrust and betrayal muddled the air, until that day. When it all overflowed and the idea of fighting for a place she never considered home, fighting against what she knew was an unstoppable force, the force of her Diamond, made the tension spill over, and her anger had forced her to do something she, for once in her life outside of the mirror, regretted. Now stood here in the aftermath, she shivered. It felt...different. She had left her mark here and now the farm that they had built together lay in disarray. Crops that had been planted, withering away and overgrown, even the tractor that had been tirelessly worked on, now sat within the weeds, rusting. Had it been that long already? Or was this another thing she had done out of hate and rage? Lapis knew as she felt the dry, dusty earth under her feet, she let out a sigh, clenched her fists tightly and tried to ignore the pain she could feel all around her, “You're back huh?” a small voice behind her finally spoke up, Lapis didn't have to turn around to know who it was, “And now you won't even look at me?” it wasn't that she didn't want to, it was that she couldn't. She couldn't bring herself to see the face of another mistake and listening to her voice, so void of its familiar energetic spirit send a shiver through her body, broken. Just like...
“I...I didn't think you'd be here...” “I come here every day,” “Why? There's...there's nothing left,” Lapis flinched at her own words, her own voice swirling in her mind like a vortex, nothing left...and who's fault was that... “Because I like to own up to my mistakes Lazuli,” Peridot snapped, staring daggers into the back of Lapis's head. She had never felt this angry before, but being away from Lapis and being surrounded by her friends. Friends who wanted to help her, friends who didn't force her into being someone she wasn't...”And agreeing to live with you was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made!” she snarled, fangs showing as the tractor slammed into the ground making Lapis jolt up suddenly.
Those words cut deep, deeper than anything she had never felt. Lapis has expected someone else to say something like this, to stand up to her...she had prepared for that day...but this wasn't something she had expected, wasn't something she had prepared for... “All I wanted was to make you feel like you weren't alone anymore, I felt sorry for you. I wanted to make up for the way I treated you back on the ship! But now...” She shook her head, chuckling a little bit before she glowered at Lapis once more, “I can't believe I ever felt that way about you,” Peridot growled, “At least have the damn spine to LOOK at me!” Lapis turned, but her head was hung low, eyes staring up at Peridot through her hair as tears slowly ran down her cheeks,
“H-How could you say that!?” she spat, “You don't know what I've been through!” “No! No, I don't! But when the hell did you think that gave you the right to do this!” Peridot spread her arms out, emphasizing just how much damage had been done to their former home, “I didn't realize it before, but you were making me suffer for something I NEVER even DID!” Lapis wanted to scream at her, but her voice failed her. No words would escape her lips. All she found herself doing was standing there, surrounded by her mistakes, shaking pathetically as tears ran uncontrolled down her face, “I was just another punching bag for you to take out your own hang-ups on! Just like everyone else, you manipulated me into thinking I was the one in the wrong! That I was guilty for EVERY argument we ever had, and yeah, maybe I might have caused some of those...but I didn't deserve my ENTIRE life ripped up and destroyed just because you're a coward who can't even face up to her own mental issues! You could NEVER let me be me! You even destroyed the prize I won from Fun Land just so you could have control over me!” “That's not...I...” Lapis stammered finding herself backing away from Peridot as the other gem marched towards her with a newfound courage she never through Peridot could ever have mustered, “I even saw what you did to Jasper!” Lapis felt a weight suddenly drop on her, a knot forming in her throat, “When you left, I couldn't help but think about her, how she's now just like YOU used to be. Trapped and broken! Just like you've always wanted...And thinking back, part of her desperation, her corruption...part of that was because of YOU!” Lapis glared, now lashing out as Peridot with a fist formed from her wing, knocking the other gem back into the dirt away from her,
“Don't you DARE bring her into this! You had no idea what she was like!” Peridot pulled herself up, didn't even bother brushing the dirt from her form and gave Lapis a cold stare in return, “I worked with her Lazuli. I knew exactly what she was like, but she didn't deserve ANY OF THAT!” she shook her head, turning her back on Lapis as she began to walk back to the crater where the remains of the barn sat rotting away, “Just go Lapis...It's clear you're not ready to hear the truth, to face up to the real you. Not this....image Steven seems to have of you,” she shook her head, looking over her shoulder, face devoid of emotion, “Maybe when you've looked at your own reflection, we can talk. Instead of this pointless fighting.” Lapis took another few steps backwards, turned on heel as her wings slowly formed from her gem once more, wiping the tears from her eyes, “Peridot....I'm sorry...”

CHARACTER DETAILS
Character’s Name: Seraya Cain Desired FC: Tristan Mays Character’s Age: 22 Character’s Species: Wolf Character’s Sexuality: Bisexual
CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY
Seraya Cain has only known heavy-handed and short-lived maternal love. Seraya was born to one of the Deveraux Pack wolves, a foot soldier and no one of real rank or importance. Her parentage was always explained to be inconsequential to understanding her role in the hierarchy of power within the dynamic of the pack and the overall political factions. Seraya asked her mother about her father only once but was chastised for her curiosity into a matter that she didn’t deem relevant for her daughter to know. She never asked again for fear of disapproval or angering her mother but Seraya also learned it didn’t particularly matter. She knew she was a wolf and she knew the role she existed to serve made it easier to keep thing clearly defined in black and white. Sentimentality and feelings existed in the gray area between and Seraya never wasted her time on trivial things when she could be training to become stronger, faster and more lethal to rise in the ranks. Her mother died when she was young, leaving her to be raised at the mercy of the regimented pack but like her mother she was an ideal soldier even from an early age. She took orders without question, kept her mouth shut and understood the necessity and importance of sacrifice in the line of duty. During her late teenage years is when Seraya’s personality began to shift and diverge from the complicit and obedient sentry she once was. She was flippant and outright disrespectful to her superiors, garnering more disciplinary action and punishment than ever before and she was fueled by one of the many uncontrollable emotions she’d always repressed: rage. Seraya was angry; all of the time. She was often irritable and short-tempered, finding more and more reason to keep to herself than actively take part in the pack but Seraya was a storm of conflicted emotions waging war within someone who’d never been taught that feelings didn’t make you weak. Seraya lacked the emotional depth or maturity to understand her own feelings or sexuality, made only worse by werewolf genes and rampant teenage hormones. She’d developed feelings for someone, an attachment she’d never understood in regards to anyone apart from being told what to do but made worse by the fact that it was an Original Witch who’d become the object of her misplaced affection. Seraya had been raised with the understanding that her existence was somehow worth less, she wasn’t a person allowed to entertain romantic notions or feelings and those were reserved only for classes above her but how could she ignore what felt so visceral and real? She began to question the blind subservience and code she’d always lived by, finding a new sense of pride in who she was and what she was and bucking the system that she was somehow beneath the object of her feelings. It was a stupid mistake, to profess her unrequited feelings to someone who not only didn’t feel the same way in return but refused to feel anything for her simply because she was a wolf. The unbridled rage in Seraya had been unleashed that night and she’d vowed to leave the pack, exact her revenge and do whatever it took to get back at the witch who’d rejected her and ultimately shattered her fledgling heart. Seraya left when she was only fifteen, but the weight of the choices she made in retaliation have haunted her ever since. She was the reason locations of witches were compromised, she was the reason for hunters finding and slaughtering witches mercilessly as if somehow the bloodshed would salve her untended wounds. Seraya became a lone wolf, long since rejecting any ideal of pack or family, she doesn’t even begin to know what either of those really mean. The loneliness she felt became her constant companion, a penance for the lives she was responsible for and failing in her duty as a wolf sworn to protect the lives of the witches she’d given up for the slaughter. It didn’t matter where she tried to run, the guilt was always faster and is how she’s now found her way back to Carden Manor. Seraya claims she’s returned only out of necessity, self-preservation and looking out for her safety the only reason she seeks asylum but secretly it’s her mission to atone for the deaths of the witches she was responsible for. She was a child who made an egregious error but she’s never forgiven herself for what she did out of hurt and anger born of her confusion in her personal and sexual identity. Seraya has been alone for a while now and adapting back into the ranks of the pack and learning to trust others to any degree is exceedingly difficult to force herself back into the dutiful role she no longer believes in. Her drive to protect what’s left of the witches is stronger than ever before but makes her a lot more reckless and dangerous when it comes to her own safety.
CHARACTER PERSONALITY
Despite being born a werewolf into a pack, there’s something about Seraya’s nature that was born as The Loner. The lone wolf roams the wild with a thirst for freedom and it was a drive she never understood when she was younger until tumultuous emotions boiled over causing her to seek vengeance against witches by murder. Lone wolves tend to be more aggressive and far more dangerous than the average wolf that is a member of a pack and there’s always been a free radical variable about Seraya’s character that can’t be trusted or pinned down. She always tries to remain aloof and emotionally unable to interact with others, but mostly because she’s never developed the skills or tools to cope in emotional settings. She runs on logical and tactical default, the only emotion she usually understands is anger and the drive for bloodlust for sake of eliminating a target or protecting an objective. Loyalty and respect aren’t easily earned, rarely does Seraya think highly of others because her nature is secretive and distrustful of anyone else when the only time she ever ventured into trusting someone ended catastrophically. It’s easier for Seraya to rely only on herself, her anger and loneliness her companion in lieu of a pack because she’s resentful of the pack she was raised in and resents the person they tried to make her become. Seraya can be quick-tempered and stubborn though she’s only slightly less destructive than her formative years. Seraya’s main form of communication apart from violence is sarcasm and it’s one of the intentional protective measures instilled at her core to keep everyone at arm’s length. She’s at the Manor to provide a service, to pay a debt and she’s biding her time until it’s squared and she’s set to cut and run…again.

What if one day Fell bros SF sans s/o died but the skeletons don't know about it yet, s/o's twin sibling pretend to be s/o(same haircut&clothes, practice habits, attitude)asking the skeleton if they can get back together, they tell the skeleton that sibling went to travel the world, if the skeletons found out what happen, siblings cries and tell them that after s/o and the skeleton had a fight/break up, s/o become sad, got sick and died, their last wish was hoping the skeleton would forgive them.
{ This is very interesting and creepy in its way, I like it :’D I put also our dear Rus so we have all the couples of brothers! }
❌  Reddy ;
Your behaviour, after all these days, was different from your usual and Sans could not understand the reason why you acted so strangely. He has not seen you from two weeks because you were with you twin for an urgent work trip. Since it was your job, you could not contact him so much and the two of you tried to communicate during the nights before the bed time. They were only two weeks and he could survive without you for two weeks, it was not a tragedy and he wanted to say sorry for how he acted last time. After your return, he noticed something in you changed, he could appear careless all the time but he knew you very well to understand if something was wrong. It did not seem a bad thing because you kept smiling, acting so gentle and sweet with him… Maybe a little too kind because you did not lecture him for his laziness. You were used to scream at him every time you found him asleep on the couch when he should have done some duties and it was a sort of ritual between the two of you. Since you came back from your trip, you have never lectured him, saying that he could relax and you would have done his entire jobs because you loved him so much… It was weird, not the fact that you loved him but the way you said it and the way you behaved. It was unusual and it was like you became another person, someone he could not recognize. In fact, it was not you, it was your sibling and your sibling could not know how you behaved with Sans and how your love life was. Sans understood the trick the moment he noticed a little detail about your new self. The way you called him, you usually used silly nicknames and you stopped to practice this habit. The terrible things Sans lived in his life have taught him to distrust persons and life was able to surprise us all the time with the strangest things. One day, Sans asked to have a conversation with you –who was supposed to be you-. He could not suppose you were your sibling, he only had a bad feeling that made him nervous. Then, when your sibling explained him the awful truth, Sans was shocked and it was just a horrible prank… This situation was too abnormal to be real, and he refused to believe it!First, how could your sibling take your place like this, tricking him in this way? Second, why didn’t you tell him that you were sick? How could you?  He was ready to help you, standing by your side until your last breath. He felt so bad and offended even if you were dead it was not correct and you did not trust him enough if you did not tell him it. You thought he was so stupid not to find it out, and your sibling has treated him like an idiot until now. It was not a decent behaviour and with what kind of respect your sibling pretended to be you. To be a dead person. No, Sans could not forget and he was unsure if he could forgive. He felt so hurt because of your dead and because of the way your sibling treated him, and you did not trust him enough and maybe he was not so important for you to tell him about your health.
❌ The Edge Lord ;
Everyone knew his personality was aggressive and harsh and he often said things he did not mean and sometimes he did not think before he opened his mouth to say some bullshit. Then, because of his pride, he was not the one to apologise first and he waited for your move… Until it was too late because you were dead and he was unaware of it.You came back home and everything seemed normal, he did not notice your sibling took your place and for months he assumed you were yourself but Papyrus kept acting cold with you because he did not forget and he wanted to hear your apologies for that famous fight. Maybe you were prouder than he was and this game could last forever until this earth became a desert.Your sibling was the one who lost their patience and said to Papyrus that the two of them had to talk about an important issue. Papyrus seemed surprised but very content because finally you gave up making amend because he was getting sick about this situation, since it lasted too much! The argument was not the one Papyrus supposed because your sibling confessed to him the most absurd thing of the existence saying that you were dead during a trip and your sibling pretended to be you for reason unknown to him. Anyway, it seemed that famous fight was one of the reasons.Papyrus did not know what to think about it and he pushed your twin away because he did not want strangers in his house and, now that he noticed them with more attention, he found out the differences even if they were so little and hidden. He did not want to see your sibling anymore and he did not care about their explications. He felt hurt and betrayed because you were his mate and you should have told him the truth about your health, that you were so sick. He might be rude, egocentric and severe but he was able to understand a delicate situation and it was as if your sibling had offended his intellect. Real life was not a movie and none had the right to treat a person in this way, not even a person like Papyrus. Then, it was a very important issue, you were dead and he had to know something like this. He felt so guilty because he should have stayed by your side during your sufferance. Nothing could be more important than you, no fights or worries, what was truly mattered was your health but it was too late.
❌ Blackberry ;
Just like Edge, he was not the first to say sorry and he was so proud and insolent.Sans had so many problems with social relationships and he was incapable to understand people and to communicate with them so he believed you were still alive and it was not your sibling. He did not even remember you have a twin, so this suspect has never crossed his mind.Sometimes, he noticed you acted weird but he supposed you were still angry for that fight and maybe he was mad too and he wanted to make amend with you even if he did not admit and his behaviour was cold and rude. Your sibling was sick of his childish and stupid actions because he often treated them as if they were shit thinking they were you and all was going wrong. All was wrong for this guy. After a while, your twin took the courage they needed, because they were afraid Sans could act violent because he was not a pacifistic person and he did not think twice attacking someone without mercy. This plan was crazy and your sibling regretted so much to have told this lie and maybe they had to tell to Sans that awful truth from the very start and now they were not risking their life trying to have a conversation with a crazy skeleton. Sans did not believe his ears and it was just a horrid prank to make amend with him, right? What the fuck? His vision became black and he threw a bone against your twin but it did not hit them, and it just touched them softly because Sans wanted to know the truth but a cadaver could not speak to him so they had to live until they were useful for his purpose. Your sibling explained what happened to you between their tears and they were shocked and scared. When they told to him that you were gone, his soul lost a beat and a scar compared on it that would have been eternal. He was paralyzed, for several minutes he stayed silent and confused and your sibling took this opportunity to run away, afraid that Sans could kill them when he woke up from this trance. His life changed radically after this revelation and he did not know what to believe because reality seemed fake and he was unable to recognize it. What was true and what was false, he did not know. Everything was a mess, it was like a show of horror!
❌ Rus ;
It was not a problem for Papyrus to be the one to say sorry because he truly hated to be mad at you but he hated the most when you were mad at him. It was something he could not handle and he felt so alone without you. When you returned, he was so happy and he was ready to start again this relationship if it was not for that little detail that this person was not you. None was able to trick Papyrus and your sibling should have known it very well, it was obvious they did not know this skeleton so much. He knew you very well, all your behaviours, the way you smiled at him when he said a joke or the way your voice got higher when you were angry or when you were sad and your eyes became so wet but you did not want to cry and all your flaws and all the things that made you perfect in his eyes. He recognised everything, he found it out the moment you acted like a stranger.  The first question he asked to that person was “who are you?”, and your sibling was shocked about his power of observation because it was incredible but he was just very smart. Then, your sibling was forced to say the truth and they confessed their plan to Papyrus, that they wanted to take your place and Papyrus wanted to spit in their eye because it was crazy! How could someone do this to their own twin? With what respect and decency? No, for Papyrus was unbelievable and he screamed to them to go away before he could act more violent than he desired because the thought that you were dead for an illness made him madder and instable. He felt dead as well and he lost his sanity, his self-control was missing even if he did not want to hurt anybody but his rage was uncontrollable. No way he could heal from this pains so easily and without you he did not know what to do with his miserable life. Papyrus ignored the fact that your sibling acted like a piece of shit and you hid to him something so important because the revelation that you were gone was the nightmare he refused to live.
