when your mother first told you that you were meant to marry Glossu Rabban, a man that is at least a decade older than you, you were rightfully shocked. at the time you were eighteen, just came of age and already sold off to a family for a truce that wont last a year.

your wedding was boring, there were subjects screaming and cheering as we walked out of the ceremony, Glossu, as usual let out a yell of triumph. just great..

i was forced to meet his relatives, which i understood before that he had very little. you already knew the Baron so you greeted your uncle-in law with a great smile, he always looked out for you when you were a child and that was why he wanted you to marry his eldest nephew, fucking disgusting beast he may be. a boy, not much younger than me came up behind the baron, he was actually quite handsome, we shook hands and exchanged glances. "its nice to finally meet you, sister in law."

--- present day ---

me and Feyd had gotten closer, i attended his coming of age ceremony too, my good for nothing husband, on arakis, dealing with 'rats' as he calls them, of course he would dare miss his brothers birthday, its laughable. after he had defeated all three atreides he confronted his uncle, i didnt hear about what, i only heard Feyds anger laced voice saying something so low and raspy i couldnt hear it that well, then the doors shut.

i always knew the boy looked for my approval in everything he did, ever since i married his brother, every corpse that hit the ground, every word he said, he would look me in the eye, and smile. at least i think its a yearn of approval, i did the same thing to my father when i was as young as him..

his birthday was yesterday, he finally came of age which mean he has more power than he already had. he never used his power against me, ever. he knew he probably couldnt take me in a fight, its obvious. everytime we sparred i always won, i have been training with him since i moved in. im only 4 years older than him so we understood and had mutual respect for eachother. i dont know if hes letting me win, but ive seen him be so much more brutal with the slaves that he fights. especially the one that wasnt drugged at the ceremony.

Glossu never provided me with children, somehow, he couldnt, everytime we tried. i bled almost every single time, he was rough, and it wasnt enjoyably rough, it was like he was ripping me open, not in the way where i insinuate that his dick is big because honestly its um.. i shall just say its not impressive in any way..

there has been many times that i would find out that Feyd had gotten another women pregnant. why is it that he can do it so well but his brother doesnt even know where my clit is. its not like he goes anywhere near it anyway.

that night i decided to take a walk around the palace, my husband, who i saw for a brief moment, and now i cant find him. so i guess im on my own now. i stride the cold halls, knowing that im untouchable.

i go to check if my brother in law is asleep, but when i creak open his door, which is only 3 rooms down from mine, all i hear is moans, i roll my eyes and open the door a bit more so i can step in. the lights are on and all i can see is a three on one sex scene.

"ahem." i state my prescence. Feyd is laying on the bed facing up as one concubine rides him, one sits on his face while the third waits to switch out with one of them. Feyd lifts the sex beast off his face and looks at me. he props up on his elbows, still getting riden. "oh hello my lady."

Summary: John manages to talk (Y/N) off the ledge before she blows up the longest relationship she has over something so silly…which happens to be something she’s also done before.

The sound of the bang that the door closing made was even loud enough to make John Shelby jump. He scrambled from the table he was sitting at to get over to the concealed hole in the wall where a revolver was nestled. He was just about to access it when he noticed who had slammed the door.

“The fuck was that for, (Y/N)?” he asked his wife, his brows furrowing together in confusion.

(Y/N) didn’t hear him though. She was too busy pacing the floor while muttering unintelligible things. Something about someone being stupid and never wanting to see them again. John wracked his brain for a moment, trying to figure out if it was something that he’d done.

He decided to finally approach her when he came up empty. “What’s goin’ on with you, love?” he asked her, hoping that his voice was level enough so that she wouldn’t get set off…even more than she all already had been.

“I just can’t believe she did that to me,” she finally spoke clear enough for John to hear what she was saying.

“Who did what?” John still didn’t quite understand what was going on.

“Mary,” (Y/N) snapped, as if she was annoyed that John hadn’t come into the conversation with all of the details.

But that didn’t stop John from asking more questions. “What did Mary do?” was his next one.

“She stood me up. We had an entire evening planned and then she cancelled last minute!” she didn’t hesitate in sharing her frustrations, aggravation starkly present in her words.

John furrowed his eyebrows as he took a moment to figure out which way he should approach the situation. (Y/N) was not one to be messed with when she was hot about something, and he hadn’t seen her this worked up in a long time. But before he was able to do anything however, (Y/N) was turning to leave the shop.

“That’s it!” she proclaimed as she made for the door, “I’m going to give her a piece of my mind!” She then started angrily walking towards the door. Just as her left hand reached for the knob, her right was pulled backwards. She gasped as she was spun and within seconds, her back was pressed against the brick wall. Her eyes widened as she looked at her husband, who now had her pinned so that she couldn’t leave.

“You’re not going anywhere…not like this, at least,” he told her, speaking in a calm voice because he knew that if he raised it, all hell would break loose.

“Let me go, John,” she huffed, trying, and failing, to break from his grasp.

“Why did she cancel?” he asked, not giving into her wishes.

Lucky for him, (Y/N) was all for giving the details now. “She ditched me to spend time with her new man. We had this night planned for weeks just to have her call me earlier today saying that he’s asked her out for dinner. She’s ditching me for dinner!” She was fuming by the end of her explanation, all of her anger washing back in again. Who ditches their best friend of over 10 years to have dinner with a guy?? The thought of it was absurd!

John searched her eyes for a moment, waiting to see if she had anything else to add. When she stayed silent, he couldn’t help but break into stiffled laughter. This made (Y/N)’s brows furrow. “What the fuck are you laughing about, John?!” she asked incredulously, not sure if she was now more upset with her friend or her husband.

“Listen to yourself, (Y/N),” he began, surpressing his laughter so that a more serious air would fall over the conversation once more.

“What?” she snapped back at him.

“What Mary’s doing…” he started, shaking his head slightly as he snorted to himself, “you did the exact same thing to her when you started seeing me.”

“I did not!” she immediately proclaimed, shocked that he wasn’t taking her side on this matter.

“You absolutely did,” he stood firm with his point.

“Yeah? When?”

“One of the first dates I took you on. I brought you out for dinner, and you told me that you felt so bad for having to cancel your plans with your best friend.”

“Yeah, but…but I felt bad about it,” (Y/N) was quick to point out.

“You don’t think Mary feels bad about it?” John asked with raised eyebrows.

“At least I didn’t cancel the day of!” she pointed out another - what she at least thought was a - flaw in John’s argument.

“Well maybe unlike your amazingly considerate then-boyfriend, now-husband, her boyfriend doesn’t have the same regards to the possibility that Mary had other plans.”

“You’re so full of yourself, John,” (Y/N) snorted as a smile broke passed the deep frown she was wearing.

“Just stating the facts, love,” he winked at her, making her roll her eyes in response. “But I got your mind off of it, didn’t I?” he questioned then.

(Y/N) pursed her lips as she realized what he’d done. Then she silently cursed him and his ability to make her mood change on a dime. She waited a few moments before she, begrudgingly, replied: “you did.”

“Good. Mission accomplished,” he grinned, finally letting go of her hands so that he could settle both of his under her jaw. “Now what I’m hearing from you is…” he paused, licking his lips as his grin grew bigger, “that you’ve got the night free.”

(Y/N) rolled her eyes again, trying so hard to keep up the act that she was angry. But it was so damn hard with him looking at her the way he was. “My night is free now,” she finally answered him.

“Which means you’re able to spend it with me?” he checked.

“You don’t have any duties to carry out at the Garrison?” she responded with a question of her own.

“None that are as important as me wife,” he grinned.

“You can be so cheesy sometimes.”

“But I got your mind off of what you were mad about, didn’t I?”

“Just take me out on the town…before I go and change my mind,” she dismissed his question, though the look on her face told him immediately that he was absolutely right.

“You don’t need to ask me twice,” he grinned before he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers. “Let’s go,” he said after pulling away, reaching down to take her hand in his and lead her out of the betting shop.

gifs from e6 set!! useless rambling + one (technically 2) more under here

that last gif -- yeowoon sleeping in the hospital -- total and complete pain OTL. the original is so dull & yellow that even after prodigious application of curves & channel mixer i couldn't get his shirt to be blue enough to edit it with selective color.

so i had to use a gradient layer, which was good except that it went over the red alert box. bc of the way my coloring action works you can't quite see it up there, but i actually did another very specific red gradient layer to recolor the alert box on the right side and then used keyframes to vanish it away, so it looks a Little Tiny Bit different from the rest. but i dont think its noticeable unless i point it out. see? lmao

here's a gif i worked really hard on but not enough to think it should go in the finished product, so like, imagine me shamefacedly dragging it to your dash like a cat with a not-quite-dead mouse. lmao. it wouldve worked if this color scheme was a little less... cartoonish, i guess

anyway this episode was really hard! because of the above but also mostly because i couldnt at all decide what scenes to use -- i have 21 screencap folders when i only need nine gifs OTL the red also was initially too saturated no matter what (and especially on my phone display, where magenta is really really saturated compared to my laptop) so i had to tone down the finished products to make it look more like the other ones

While you had spent your day cuddled up in the house, movies on and food delivered, Gyutaro went to class. Now, you didnt actually want to stay home and were actually very anxious, as missing class meant missing important material. And what if Gyutaro didnt get all the side notes discussed in class? How would you be able to study efficiently? In all honesty, you couldnt remember the last time you skipped class, but when Gyutaro came to pick you up this morning, he was adamant that you stay home.

“You look like shit,” he said, as you opened the door.

“You look lovely, too,” you state with a smile. Gyutaro smirks and pats your head.

“Really though,” he starts. “You don’t look well.”

“Yeah, that would be because I’m sick. I just can’t miss class, you never know whats gonna happ-“

Gyutaro put his hand on the center of your chest and pushed you back inside. He was instantly anxious, knowing your weak, little body was fighting off some illness. And he didn’t want you to work yourself up in class when you weren’t feeling well because you might just die. So, with little effort, he picked you up and brought you back to your bed.

“Gyutaro, I’m fine, seriously. I can go to class,” you said. You were getting frustrated because you knew this whole scene would make you late, which stresses you out more than missing class all together. Walking in and everyone staring? Absolutely not.

“Sorry, weakling, but I can’t let you go to class. If I learned anything from human health class, its that humans need to rest when sick.” Gyutaro really didn’t understand why humans get sick, and considered it to be more of a character flaw than anything. He watches as you try to stand, but places his hand on your shoulder and pushes you down again.

“Gyutaro, please?” you ask, looking up at him with the biggest puppy eyes you could muster.

“Y/N,” he says sternly.

“Gyutaro,” you say with a cheesy grin.

You know you won’t win this argument, especially when he raises his eyebrows at you. “Stop treating me like a child,” you say sternly.

“I will. When you stop acting like one.” You lay down. “Fine! But I’m not staying home because you said so, I’m staying home because I want to!” He smirks at your announcement and leaves the room. In the kitchen, Gyutaro is putting the teapot on the stove. He heard it helps this kind of situation. He begins to look around for something to eat, that way you dont feel sick on an empty stomach, but remembers he doesn’t really know how to cook. Ultimately, he decides to order in some food. The tea finishes and he brings it to you.

“Here, drink this. Google says it will make you feel better. And take this.”

He hands you a box of medicine he had taken from your bathroom. You slowly grabbed the items, still mad that he was making you stay home, but appreciative that he cared this much for you. He proceeded to grab your laptop and put your favorite show on before kissing your forehead and heading out the door.

“I’ll go to class for you and get you some notes so you dont go crazy,” he says, looking at you with a smirk. You smile back and he leaves.

Not even 20 minutes later you get a text from him.

G: Are you dying? I looked up your symptoms and one of the causes says cancer. Have you been to the doctors recently?

You giggle to yourself and respond, reassuring him that you would be fine and it was just a little cold. That didn’t stop his worrying, though, and you received plenty more texts with the same sentiment. You also kept getting deliveries, whether it be food or hot chocolate or even blankets.

Y/N: You can stop door dashing/insta carting me. I’ll be alright.

This got you no response, and you decided to take a nap.

Gyutaro opened the door slowly. He hadn’t gotten a response from you in maybe two hours, so he assumed you were sleeping. His assumptions were confirmed when he peaked through your bedroom door. A blush crossed his cheeks. You looked so cute all cuddled with the blanket he sent over. There were candy wrappers, cups, and to go bags all over, making him smile. He knew you would need all that. Gyutaro quietly cleaned the room and climbed into bed with you, moving your hair from your face and kissing your cheek.

You rolled over to snuggle into his chest and he swears he would do anything to protect you, even if you were just a weak, little human. He is unbelievably grateful that you chose to be with him. You are so gorgeous. Since the day you met, you had shown him nothing but kindness, always complimenting and sticking up for him. You are the reason he had become so confident in himself. He had become the luckiest guy in the world when you gave your heart to him, so of course he is going to make sure you are well taken care of.

8/10 for looks. 4/10 for the chuuya abuse. 6/10 for the fact everytime i hear his english voice it reminds me of hendrickson from SDS bc that is the VA. overall 7/10 character but I would not wanna be his friend in real life. follow his instagram at most.

Kunikida Doppo

Y'ALL ALREADY KNOW hotness 10/10, 6/10 for the possible terrorist backstory that would be oh so fantastic character building, 8/10 for the fact i ALSO happen to be overly obsessed with my own schedule, 4/10 for the fact someone called his hair a deceased pikachu wig and I laughed, 7/10 for the fact his english VA is Griamore from sds and that was weird for a few scenes. OVERALL 9/10 solid gold good man deserves a white picket dream (the remaining 1/10 is for the fact they couldnt help themselves with his spiky hair sticking out, so now it is effectively a mullet instead of just long hair)

7/10 on looks in general i have no strong opinions about his ensemble except that he looks like a lil detective and the IRL Rampo wrote "Boy Detectives Club" and i think its adorable. 8/10 for the fact his brain is awesome and the cockiness. 7/10 for the rivalry with poe because i like it but i havent seen enough of it to be super into their thing yet overall 7/10 I dont have much to say hes just a good boy

Yosano Akiko

5/10 for the design im sorry i hate that the skirt is that low she can have a long skirt but it looks way awk at the hips though that may just be because the skirt goes out instead of just downward like a maxi. the gold hair clip is good i like it. 9/10 for the way she snatched that mans hand and almost took it off, 7/10 for the scenes that make this anime look way sus to my parents (YOU KNOW WHICH ONES I MEAN!) overall 8/10 for everything except that damn skirt

Team baby!! 10/10 for team baby and YES hes the team baby even though kyouka is ALSO the team baby but i'll get to that. 8/10 for being Finny from Black Butler without my issues from black butler. 7/10 for his morals on cows. 8/10 for his everything about his personality. im not rating on attractiveness bc he is fourteen >:1 idk why i wasted y'alls time explaining hes 10/10 for team baby

Ok she was going to be the team baby but then i reevaluated and decided no shes just ATSUSHI'S BABY. 8/10 for how adorable her jellyfish cut is. 10/10 for sad backstory. 6/10 for the fact people ship her with atsushi and the show seems to lean that way as well (I was so happy when Lucy arrived for this reason). 7/10 overall for second team baby

Atsushi Nakajima

6/10 for the fact my phone always autocorrects him to At Sushi. 7/10 for that haircut. 10/10 for awful father figure. 9/10 for the headcannon about his parents engaging in cannibalism that sounded so in-line with the show i thought it was real and not a headcannon. I'm sorry 6/10 for the fact the va uses the same voice for atsushi that he uses for Harlequin in SDS and it trips me up. 8/10 for the fact his eyes cant decide what color to be. 7/10 for the fact it feels weird to see smut with him in it because he is also, effectively, team baby.

Gimme a minute to yak anyways designs are 7/10 pretty basic but do their job effectively and Naomi's appearance actually supports the headcannon shes not real and shes just a product of his ability which i like. "relationship" gets 0/10 for EW but kunikida gets 10/10 for telling atsushi to ignore it but then still yelling at them after he gets 7/10 for his general personality, honestly if his devotion to his sister wasnt related to the weird incest stuff i would find it a really great plot device (being devoted to protecting and taking care of your only family left) overall naomi gets 6/10 for being okay and looking properly suited for her environment unless shes around Junchiro Junchiro gets 8/10 for having a sick matrix ability and looking basic but not boring

GOOD OL' CAT LOVING GRANDPA HIMSELF. 3/10 for the fact he knows mori, 10/10 for how he looks after everyone. also 7/10 for the fact im realizing how kunikidas hairstyle might be because he is COPYING FUKUZAWA... anyways. I don't personally find him all that attractive but to be fair he doesn't show up a lot? 8/10 for being a badass. 9/10 because I feel sad that he didnt get to pet the kitty in Wan. Overall, 8/10

harry has always been in the spotlight, after being a model, taking over oscorp as ceo. he didnt think that hed be afraid of being replaced, cause lets be real, who would want to replace harry. or make it seem like one wants to replace harry. well, in his books, you do.

being friends with peter and harry has its pros and cons. people always thought of you negatively thinking that you are only friends with harry for the money. but truth is, you didnt even care about money as you, yourself is well maintained. you could handle your own finance, you never had trouble paying for extra stuff. there were others who begged you and kissed the ground you walked on because you are close friends with harry. you hated the treatment you got because people only ever talk to you about harry.

i mean, harry isnt that bad. you just hated the sudden attention you got after a photo of you and harry in a restaurant to what seems like a date got around the city. not wanting anymore attention, you began hanging out with peter more often. peters attractive but he somehow couldnt pull. and it was fine for you knowing people started distancing themselves after seeing that you arent as close with harry. they started chasing felicia hardy, seeing that shes his assistant. but thats not any of your concern. you were happy with your peaceful life. but harry wasnt. harry noticed the change in your behavior. he noticed the way you would end a conversation you both had fast. harry has never faced such attitude up till now. and it greatly feared him. he adored you as a friend, maybe much more. he didnt think that a kind soul like you would ever want to replace anyone. in his eyes, he sees you replacing himself with peter. it was as if peter stole his place in your heart.

" you are ignoring me.. why? " that was the first question, word that he ever shared with you after not seeing you for so long. he saw you eating alone at a cafe, enjoying your cup of coffee. you looked up, not knowing what to reply. you knew you couldnt keep running away from harry because he somehow always knows where you would be. you wanted to be civil, truthful but didn't want to sound harsh and cause a scene. grabbing your stuff and your coffee, you pulled him out of the cafe and walked him towards a dark alleyway.

" look, i didnt mean to ignore you. its just really stressful with people knocking on my door asking me to hook you up with them. the only answer i know that will come out of you is "no" and it somehow didnt give them a sign to stop. then i realized that hanging out with peter doesnt cause such behavior. " he was now staring at you. did you really see him as a burden. as if you heard his thoughts, you continued. " and no, i dont see you as a burden. i just had alot going on and couldn't handle any of it. so i kinda thought that distancing myself from you was the only best way out. which in fact did work. but is really stupid now that i look back at it. forgive me? " you didn't realize that you held onto his hand with your free arm, desperately wanting to get the message through.

once your words sank into his mind, he nodded. he was thankful that you were being truthful to him and that he felt that he should probably understand what you were going through.

" yea.. i forgive you. but just dont do that again without any explanation. you basically left me hanging there " you knew what you did to harry was wrong and you felt really bad. you and harry had a very close relationship and the sudden change confused harry.

pulling him into a hug and placing your head in the crook of his neck, " yea i know, im very sorry harry.. " you mumbled. feeling harry nodding, he fully embraced you. he was glad that you didnt replace him or forgot about him.

It’s early morning, 4am to be exact. You can’t sleep. This occurrence is rare, but it happens every so often. As of thirty minutes ago your day has now officially started. Your steps are quiet as you pad across the hardwood of the flat. Steven, Mark, and Jake are no where to be found, no doubt finishing up their nightly routine around London. You’re not sure who you’ll see today. It’s usually Mark or Steven, Jake rarely comes around unless the other two are under intense stress or there’s a mission a bit too extreme for them. Time spent with Jake was minimal. You barley knew him, but he was kind to you, always offering to let you read his various comics if you ever got bored. Which, now that you think about it…. You turn into the living room and pad over to a small bookcase in the corner, picking up one of Jakes books, it’s a comic “Lady Death issue 1” reads the front. You take a stack of them and set them beside sofa, slouching forward and spreading your legs out in a comfortable position. You’re wearing one of your boyfriends black shirts and nothing else. The art is a bit risqué, but it’s interesting enough to hold your attention. You’re so captivated in the story that you get lost in time, not even hearing jangling keys or the scrape of the wooden door across the floor.

Jake runs the leather palm of his glove down his face, twisting his key in the lock. It’d taken longer to clean up his crime scene, he should have been back an hour ago. The door scrapes across the floor much to his dismay. He didn’t want to wake you, mentally he made a note to get that fixed. He wasn’t expecting to find you lounging on the couch, wearing his old black tshirt, legs parted. Your brow is furrowed, thumbnail worrying between your teeth, completely oblivious to the fact that you’re exposing yourself fully to him. He inhales sharply, the sound finally catching your attention. At first you smile, but then you register the leather cap on his head, the hard set of his jaw. The mischievous confidence in your eyes suddenly become panic and embarrassment. His nostrils flare. Jake kicks the door shut, closing the gap between you both with long strides. His scent is so different, but so similar. Jake kneels beside the couch, his nose pressing right up against your cheek. You instinctively try to close your legs while stuttering an awkward;

“I -I’m so Sorry”

His hand presses against your knee, pushing it back against the plush couch.

“Don’t. Don’t be.”

You freeze, your heart pounding in your throat. He was so close, and the heat of his palm, the way his thumb circles your bare knee and holds you open to him, is overwhelming. This is the first time he’s ever made physical contact with you. Jakes nose ghosts along your cheek, stopping when his lips barley touch the shell of your ear. You’re trembling against his ministrations, eyes wide like a doe. The tension is strung tight, threatening to snap at any moment. You flinch when he speaks next, voice soft and husky.

“Why aren’t you asleep”

His fingers pry the issue of his comic from your fingers, setting it on the coffee table beside him.

“I c-couldnt….. the bed was lonely tonight..”

He inhales sharply, fully aware he’s about to get into dangerous territory. It was already too late, he decided in the end. You were already his greatest weakness and his greatest strength.

“Let’s change that then, Bombón”

Just wanna say its 2023 and I still want it to be said that if Boruto and Sarada end up together we can literally never say shit about SNS again because they were right, unfortunately we gotta admit that it was true, that the only reason Naruto and Sasuke didnt end up together was because their both dudes, Im not a SNS shipper but the truth is the truth at that point.

And before anyone says ‘nuh uh, Boruto and Kawaki are supposed to represent Naruto and Sasuke so that doesnt count’

You are partially right in that, Boruto and Kawaki are definitely heavily marketed and referenced Naruto and Sasuke in many ways.

However lets not overlook that Boruto and Sarada shared that connection first and still does in many ways, I’ll give several examples.

Note: there are MANY official arts featuring them with their fathers that look more like family photos rather than shipping material [kinda weird to have their dads constantly watching them being lovey dovey if that was the case, looks more like two brothers hangin with their kids that reminds them of themselves than two fathers watching their children be inlove]

The context Im pointing out here is how Sasuke and Sarada point out Naruto and Boruto dont understand what its like to be in their shoes, just Sarada was less aggressive but her point still stood that unlike her Boruto KNEW who he was and where he was delivering to and if she was in his shoes she’d gladly make the effort to bring her father the food, but unlike him she doesnt know her dad nor have any clue where he is or has been all this time. So the situations are different but the context is the same, them calling the other out for their ignorance.

Worst part is all this is STILL not even half of what all exists but you get the point, Boruto and Sarada may have alot in common with NS more than SNS atp [for obvious reasons as Kawaki was introduced] but the fact remains they were HEAVILY SNS coded and still are to an extent, it was very clear from Kishimotos original writing he intended for Naruto and Sasuke to pass the torch to the new generation with Sarada filling Narutos role and Boruto Sasuke’s, ending 14 literally has Sasuke and Naruto watching them from the Hokage mountain, at the end of the Boruto movie which Kishi wrote had Sasuke looking on proudly at the kids professing their newfound dreams.

You’d think this would’ve been obvious when Sarada decided to follow Narutos path and Boruto decided to follow Sasuke’s it was very apparent that the two were meant to succeed their fathers and continue on the close Uzumaki/Uchiha friendship [Kushina/Mikoto, Hashirama/Madara, Obito/Kushina, Naruto/Sasuke] it was NOT implied to be romantic, they were entirely marketed as the new Naruto and Sasuke, a blush or two doesnt = romance when Naruto and Sasuke have blushed for eachother as well, which leads me to the point of this post.

If BoruSara is canon theres really nothing else to say about SNS because they’d be right, even if that isnt the intent or message they are tryin to send the fact remains thats exactly what they’ll convey, that Naruto and Sasuke 100% would’ve been endgame if not for both being males, because the fact that they have been so heavily foreshadowed as taking over their fathers role, sharing a similar bond and many similar moments, theres no way to deny that the only reason these two are pushed together romantically is because their boy and girl, you could probably argue at that point that Naruto and Sasuke actually were as well if thats the case with Boruto and Sarada.

At the moment their relationship has been completely platonic, they are close friends, teammates, and rivals just like their fathers were, and nothing about their relationship is explicitly romantic just like it wasnt for their fathers as well.

However, if they DO turn Boruto and Sarada’s relationship into a romantic one and confirm all those scenes, interactions etc were indeed part of their romantic development, you cannot argue the same couldnt have been true for Naruto and Sasuke anymore, not even the fact that they see eachother as brothers is a factor anymore since Sarada said the same and still ends up with him, theres no argument anymore.

Listen everything I’ve mentioned is exactly why I dont think BoruSara will be endgame, but Im realistic enough to not say it isnt a possibility at all, so if the worse case scenario happens and they are indeed canon we gotta concede that SNS fans were right, the only thing that held SNS back was bein men, sad but true.

It still baffles me how some SS fans even ship BoruSara considering it literally mirrors the two main ships they were against, NaruSaku and SNS, and yet now their shipping the split image of those ships...truly makes you wonder...but thats another topic for another day.

Point is I dread the day this is actually confirmed because if Kishi and co thought the outrage was bad before its gonna be 10x worse if they pull that cuz it’ll prove everyones suspicions right that there was homophobia behind the scenes, alot of ppl claim to tolerate BoruSara since its the closest they’ll get to SNS but deep down if it was actually confirmed they’ll be outraged because lets be real, although some of them may settle for it in theory doesnt mean their actually ok with the ‘homophobia’ being confirmed, they may even come to resent the ship for ‘stealing’ what SNS had and should’ve been.

The NS shippers who see this as compensation for Kishis ‘betrayal’ will be fine in this case since theres no negative cannotations for them if their canon, it’ll just prove to them that NS should’ve been canon but Kishi ‘sold out’ but is now atoning for his sins and ‘fixing’ his mistakes.

Not even makin that up thats literally what they think BoruSara is, Kishi ‘fixing’ his mistakes despite him never once saying he regretted his endgame ships, only the fandom views it as a ‘mistake’ while Kishimoto proudly speaks on every ship with no remorse, he didnt even realize he had caused such controversy, man lied to his own wife just to appease her, thats not something you’d do if you felt you made the wrong decision, instead he would’ve apologized but nah, he just flat out said NS was never a serious consideration for him, he already had his endgame decided and he stuck to it.

So to say Kishimoto is ‘fixing’ his mistakes by making BoruSara canon would mean he’d have to regret his endgame pairings which he doesnt, hes made that abundantly clear in numerous interviews that he was proud of his decision and deliberately ignored everyone who pushed for NS even his own wife, so why ppl think Kishimoto is trying to ‘fix’ a mistake he doesnt even view as a mistake is baffling to me.

Anyway I’ve said my piece, I’ll come back to this subject if the worst case scenario happens but hopefully that doesnt happen and they stick to what they’ve set up, a platonic close bond between friends, teammates, family, and rivals.

i watch two movies (one live-action & one animated) a week every month: letterboxd account ★ two movies a week every month list

here are the eight movies i watched for the month of july:

**SPOILERS BELOW**

JULY 4 - THE HALF OF IT

going into this i thought it would be another tatbilb, or even worse, another kissing booth, but i was pleasantly surprised that this was sapphic introspection at its greatest. ish. i love love loved the spray paint scene - probably one of my fav scenes of july - it kinda reminded me of the rock segment in everything everywhere (i’m not over it btw) and it made me pause the movie and squeal for an embarrassingly long time

also, in a way, isn’t this a sapphic (slash bi, altho it was very obvious the only person ellie loved was aster) retelling of sierra burgess is a loser?

yep. at its very core, the half of it is yet another cyrano effect film. unlike sierra burgess is a loser, though, i loved this movie, because it treads the line between poetic and fun, artistic yet...kinda basic, which isn’t a bad thing, per se. also, while it had a lot of nltog moments, there were a lot of scenes that made this movie awesome. i’ll prob rewatch soon once i have time 🫶

JULY 5 - LIZ AND THE BLUE BIRD

(i actually went to watch rise of gru on the same day, but since i watched it at the cinema i decided not to include it here)

screams. i love this movie to pieces! yet another sapphic masterpiece for the month of july, mostly because i was really out of it in june (bc i binged so many series). i actually watched hibike euphonium a very long time ago, and lemme tell u rn i was so. disappointed when i heard that kumiko and reina don’t end up together. i had to turn to fics to ease my pain.

SO. i decided to watch liz and the blue bird. holy. this movie is SO poetic. almost like worship? like.....religious. except not to god, but to their...well, love? the movie never explicitly says the forbidden L word but it is very heavily implied that they have feelings for each other, WHICH MAKES ME LOVE their devotion to each other EVEN MORE.

the actual liz and the blue bird story in the movie actually made me cry. i loved the caged bird imagery, the way liz had to let the blue bird go for her to be able to fly again, even though it hurt her...even though the blue bird didn’t want to leave her...sigh. love is selfless after all i guess. sometimes i wish it were a little more selfish bc they deserved to be together 😞

i love the fact that at the start of the movie the text says disjoint, and by the end it finally says joint. it’s another small thing that affects the whole movie’s atmosphere and it was done phenomenally!

JULY 11 - MONTE CARLO

this is the kind of movie you would watch on disney channel when you were really young, fall asleep in the living room, and wake up in your bed. like magic? well, i probably only feel this way bc selena gomez is in it lol

BTW can we take a sec to appreciate the visuals in this movie?? by visuals i mean how beautiful the main characters were. selena is SO PRETTY in this i actually couldnt stop staring BUT ALSO leighton is gorgeous as always and altho i dont really know katie she is also so so beautiful. this was a solid movie, super cute and exciting. also idk why but it kinda reminded me of the parent trap. well. i guess it’s obvious why it reminded me of the parent trap, but eh. it’s weird to think that we have complete doppelgängers out there tho

i didn’t care too much about the love interests besides meg’s, because he was legitimately awesome. man. i liked that grace and theo met up again at the end but as i said, don’t really care too much about him. RIP cory 😔

JULY 12 - BARBIE MARIPOSA

this movie has one of the most iconic opening sequences in barbie history. also, is it really considered a rewatch if the last time i watched this i was like 5 with no capability to retain any sort of fondness for it

great movie, i loved that they didn’t make the “mean girls” evil but instead gave them tremendous character growth. this is modern (2008) feminism yall

JULY 18 - ZOMBIELAND: DOUBLE TAP

YAY ANOTHER ZOEY DEUTCH MOVIE! i love this woman more than i love myself sometimes so i was devastated when she died. jk. she survived but i was horrified for a hot sec

i actually watched this at the gym with my phone bared for all to see so when it came time for that scene with madison and columbus i simply turned my phone around and waited it out. btw i almost fell on the tread when avan freakin jogia appeared bc what is he doing in zombieland as a hippy

i also cant tell what exactly it is wichita wants. like...ok. her “i don’t get attached” bs would be a nightmare for me to deal with so columbus stronger than me fr

(btw this is the THIRD time i’ve written this review because I KEEP forgetting to save draft this is horrible)

JULY 19 - BARBIE MARIPOSA & THE FAIRY PRINCESS

yk those movies that aren’t sapphic but are universally agreed upon as sapphic-coded? this is one of them. GAH i love their connection. they r so cute 🥰

i love the forgiveness scene bc it kinda reminds me of what should’ve happened by the end of beauty and the beast. the prince finally giving the witch a place to stay = catania giving gwyllion a crystallite. isn’t it safe to say then that mariposa is the beauty and catania is the beast....but they’re both beauties, so i guess it’ll just be beauty and beauty. beauty2

JULY 25 - FOREVER MY GIRL

listen. i trusted jessica rothe bc i loved her as tree in happy death day, but this movie.....had me wanting to punch. liam. so bad. LIKE HOW DOES SOMEONE MESS UP THAT BADLY. first man LEAVES her at the altar, next he wont return her calls TRYING to tell him she’s pregnant, and now he just wants to up and rejoin her life, as if he hasn’t been absent from it for 8 YEARS???

while i hated the male lead i still enjoyed the movie, all the little things. liam is so constantly horrible to the people around him but they STILL forgive him bc its a christian movie so forgiveness has to be a thing apparently. personally i would’ve punched him harder josie

but i gotta admit the voice mail thing is pretty romantic. probably one of the only things i liked about liam was his beat up old cellphone with the voicemail he listens to every single day. btw liam page...liam payne...coincidence i think not

JULY 26 - KUNG FU PANDA 2

another rewatch because i am insane. since when was kung fu panda a cinematic masterpiece?? since the 2nd movie ofc bc lord shen is one of the greatest movie villains ever idc

good lord i remember liking him so much i literally had like a folder of deviantart fanart of him which is pretty disturbing if u ask me but rewatching it made my adoration for him increase tenfold. kung fu panda 2 is the best kung fu panda movie and i WILL die on this hill

the animation was PHENOMENAL and it had some of the most epic fight scenes in the movie series. i love how this movie added to po’s background and how he ended up as the dragon warrior. plus the way his and tigress’ friendship developed! what i love most tho is the father son bond between po and ping. made me tear up x10 so i was basically crying a river. i also didn’t realize how hilarious kung fu panda is, i haven’t laughed like that in a long time (since everything everywhere) (so like since a month ago)

awesome animation+awesome script+awesome villain! what more can u ask for
