The quiet pitter patter of raindrops gently tapping your window temporarily calms down your burning temper, your foot hammering itself against the tile floor of your kitchen apartment as you begin to pick at your fingers, waiting for a certain someone to come back after his boys night out. You often didn’t care how your boyfriend spent his free time outside of the house, but what angered you is how he didn’t come back at the scheduled time you agreed on, leaving the food you diligently prepared sad and cold in their plates, waiting to be eaten.

Just as you were about to put your food away, the door knob jingles, the sound of someone’s giggles erupting through the doorway as he closes the door behind him, kicking off his shoes in the process. “Oh my god babe.. Today was such a hectic day! The boys wanted to go to– What? Why are you staring at me like that?” Your boyfriend, seeun, puts his hands up in defeat when he sees you cross your arms like a disappointed mother, the look on your face telling him that he screwed something up along the way. “I-it started raining a-and..” he tries to reason, but to his dismay, no other words escape his lips, as if they were afraid of your fiery. 

“Go wash up.”

“Can’t I have a hug, at least?” Seeun knew you could never resist his silly humor, a pout forming his lips to hopefully brighten up the mood. 

“No, you’re soaking wet.” You slide back in your chair with playful disgust, attempting to bite back your smile in the process. But seeun knew you too well, refusing to give up.

“What about a kiss instead?”

“NO!” You laugh, jumping out of your seat to run away from the wet boy. Seeun’s hands form into claws as he follows suit, chasing after your tittering body, eventually losing you in the dark hallway that missed its lighting.

“Where are you?~” He says in a teasing tone, quietly opening all of the doors the hallway contained to find nothing, a small gasp leaving his lips when he hears something move from behind him, pushing him against the wall in a flash. “Hey you,” a smirk lifts his lips as he looks down to find you standing before him, a chuckle leaving his being because he swore that your height difference was so cute. You looked so tiny compared to his slender being, something that single handedly boosted his ego. He felt on top of the world (literally), knowing that you couldn’t do anything to stop him.

Right? His eyes widen when you jump up to cage your arms around his neck, pulling his head down to smash your lips onto his, giving him his awaited kiss. His hands snake around your waist, to keep him standing upright and to pull you closer, small shutters leaving his being when one of your hands lets go of his neck to gently trace his jawline as you kiss, the other one ruffling his wet hair. The way your teeth constantly clash against the other makes him feel as if time had stopped, sending him into a world of bliss as he sighs into your mouth, pulling you even closer. 

“What.. what’s the matter?” he says between staggered breaths when you break the kiss, missing the way your plump lips moved against his. His hands release from your waist to cup your cheeks in an attempt to kiss you again, but a pout leaves him when you bring your hands up to push him back against the wall, shaking your head. The boy gulps when you get on your tippy toes, reaching up to his ear to whisper something into it. 

“Go take your shower, and we can resume this when you get back.”

It was a friday afternoon and you had just finished your last class of the day, but since you had to study for a test you found your usual spot under a tree and sat down to study before it got dark.

Your studying session was going well until everyone started leaving their classes and talking really loud. So you decided to grab your headphones and put on some music.

You opened spotify and tried to choose a song to listen to but you didn't feel like listening to anything you already knew so you searched for newly released songs to listen to.

You eventually came across an album cover that really caught your attention and discovered that the album you found belonged to a group called xikers.

You decided to give it a go and pressed shuffle, all the songs were great and you found yourself more interested in the songs and how good they sounded rather than your studies.

Then you reached a song that caught your interest more than the others it was called "Tricky house".

By the end of the song you found yourself replaying it over and over again until you knew it word by word.

As you became familiar with the song you were able to continue studying while softly singing the lyrics to yourself.

"Shanty shanty yah yah yah"

And before you knew it it was already getting dark so you headed back home still listening to Tricky house.

On monday you arrived at your college and sat down for your first class which was the one you didn't have in common with any of your friends.

While you waited for class to start you pulled out your headphones and resumed listening to xikers.

You played shuffle and Tricky house started playing which you obviously didn't mind.

You were singing to yourself so you didn't notice someone sitting next to you and then tapping your shoulder.

You paused your music and looked at the person who tapped your shoulder and found a very cute tall and blonde boy staring at you with sparkly eyes.

"Hi uhm sorry to bother but I haven't been able to come to class these past few weeks and I was wondering if I could look at your notes? I'm Seeun by the way"

He was cute and shy? Your heart cannot handle this.

"Hi Seeun! I'm Y/n! And yeah you can see my notes that's fine! And if you don't mind me asking why couldn't you come these past few weeks? You don't have to answer if you don't want to!"

"Oh uhm it's just that I work.. yeah I work so I had to work and couldn't come!" He said sounding kind of nervous.

"Oh okay! So here are my notes, just let me know if you don't understand something!"

"Absolutely! Thank you" He said smiling and you could swear you just felt your heart melt from how adorable this boy was.

You and Seeun really hit it off in class and walked together the rest of the day.

You even showed him the tree where you usually studied under and he also loved the spot.

You both sat down and just admired the campus view while sitting in silence.

"So Seeun what do you do for work if you don't mind me asking"

"Well it's kind of complicated, but I work with a group of people and we you know just do our thing?" He said scratching the back of his neck and you sensed that he didn't really want to talk about it so you chaged the subject.

"Okay then, what do you like to do for fun?"

"Oh, I like to sing and dance"

"You do? Can you sing for me?"

"Sure!" He said as he sang a little bit of the first song the came to his mind.

As he sang you couldn't help but notice that his voice sounded familliar but you just brushed that thought off.

As he finished singing you quickly clapped and you swear you saw his cheeks turn red.

"THAT WAS AMAZING!!!! YOU SOULD TOTALLY BE AN IDOL!"

"Haha yeah I should shouldn't I?"

"Totally!"

"What about you?"

As the conversation progressed you could feel Seeun growing closer to you and were happy that you made a new friend!

Months passed and you could consider Seeun one of your best friends but you still found it weird that he sometimes missed entire weeks of college because of his work, but since the first day you met him you never touched that topic again since he looked unconfortable when you guys talked about it.

It was one of those days when Seeun didn't come to college (or so you thought) because he had to work and honestly the more he was away from you the more you realised how much you missed him and how much brighter your days were with him.

You though all of that was just you appreciating his amazing company as a friend but what you saw before your eyes changed that completely.

You looked and saw a person aproach Seeun and get all giggly and all of a sudden they hugged him and he hugged back.

This made you feel weird, jealous even, so jealous you felt bad and left the tree you usually stood under.

You moved to the library and just put your head in your hands and when you realised you were almost falling asleep, so you just let yourself fall into a deep slumber.

"Hey sleepyhead, the library is about to close, come with me I'll take you home" you lifted your head to look at none other than Seeun your best friend and newly found crush.

You didn't answer him, you just stood up and let him follow you to your house without talking.

You reached you house and you were almost heading inside when he grabbed your arm.

"Skeep well ok? Goodnight" He said as he kissed your forehead and walked away leaving you frozen and confused at his sweet and unusual gesture.

Some more months of crushing on Seeun in secret had passed and now you knew Seeun for exatcly a year.. and you also discovered xikers a year ago.. and you were still addicted to Tricky house.

You were in a bench near your classroom alone waiting for the break to end and you decided to listen to some music and you of course settled for Tricky house.

You were mumbling the lyrics when you felt someone sit next to you and you saw Seeun mouthing something.

When you removed your headphones you realized he was singing Tricky house with you?

You must have looked so confused he started laughing at you.

"You know this song?"

"Yeah.. sort of but I came here because I wanted to tell you something"

"Ok go ahead"

"So you might find this really weird, but I really like your company and I never met someone who matched so well with me before and I love that we both like calm spaces and we both cry a lot specially when we watch sad movies, remember that one time when we both sobbed so hard we almost threw u-"

"Seeun get to your point!" You said laughing

He laughed a little "Right sorry, you know I ramble when I'm nervous.. I really really like you, it's not even funny actually, you mean so much to me it's insane!"

"Aw Seeun I like you too!" You said and hugged him so tight he laughed

"Oh and by the way, what do you mean by you sort of know the song?" You asked Seeun

"Well you see, that information is reserved for people who are my partner!" He said while blushing making you laugh

"Alright i guess I'll never kno-"

"Y/N NO"

"Alright sorry! I want to be your partner!" You said laughing at how shy you got from that last sentence

"That's more like it! Now that we're dating I can tell you a little secret I've been keeping for some time.. so remember when I said I worked in a group? Well I do work in a group, but an idol group called xikers, surprise!"

"So you're telling me that I have been listening to xikers this whole time and you were in the group?? How did I never figure it out?"

"Well I actually don't know how! So you see, when I came to college for the first time and I sat next to you, I only sat next to you because I heard you singing our song to yourself and I thought you looked really cute and that I could meet a fan, but you didn't even know who I was! And I thought that you would have found out, but I guess you never watched our stages and all that!"

"I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU SAW ME THAT DAY AND THAT I NEVER FOUND OUT?!?! By the way, since we're telling things I want to ask you who was the person that hugged you on that day when you woke me up in the library?"

"So that day I had practice and I thought I would come here after class to just hang out with you, but that person came up to me and hugged me saying they were a fan and they were hugging so tight I hugged back hoping they would let go when I acknowledged their affection and they did! And then I saw you go into the library and went after you, when I saw you asleep I sat next to you until the library was about to close so I could take you home"

"Seeun! You really are the sweetest I can't believe you!"

"You make me like this"

You both just stood there looking at each other until he started leaning in and you did too until your lips were inches apart.

"Good morning" Your teacher arrived and opened the door making both you and Seeun disappointed he interrupted your moment.

"Well we should go inside" You said as Seeun followed you and sat next to you while holding your hand under the table you were sitting in the back of the classroom.

You were pretty much zoning out because you couldn't believe Seeun was now your boyfriend until he called you name.

You turned to him and he grabbed your cheek and kissed you softly for a few seconds making you melt in your seat ultil you pulled away remembering where you were.

"SEEUN!" You whisper yelled as you blushed and he giggled

"Relax, the teacher is writing on the board, his back is turned to us" He said as he caressed your cheek again and kissed you, but this time you were more relaxed, this kiss lasted a few more seconds than the last one.

"Love is beautiful but I would appreciate it if you could keep that out of the classroom" Your teacher said making you embarrassed.

"Sorry sir" you said while blushing and looking down.

He resumed the class and Seeun grasped your hand tighter.

"Let's go" he said.

"But the class isn't over yet?"

"I know but didn't he say we had to keep this out of the classroom?"

"Seeun I don't think- SEEUN" He was already pulling you out of the classroom and to the tree you always sat under. You guys spent the rest of the day cuddling and just enjoying each others presence.

"Hey! Why aren't you paying attention?" Seeun snaps his fingers in front of your zoned out face, a pout on his face as you blink away your daydreams. "Maybe she doesnt want to hear your rant." Says hunter who was scrolling on his phone unbothered, licking off some ketchup from his finger before resting his chin on it.

"Hunt-"

"Sorry, I'm just super sleepy." You cut off the boys that were just about to start their weekly fusses, a yawn leaving your lips as you rub your eyes, laying your arm on the lunch table before resting your forehead against it.

Seeun and hunter share a worried glance at you then each other, before deciding to keep quiet so they dont accidentally annoy you or something. Being sleepy was true.. but it wasnt the full truth. You werent daydreaming about climbing into your bed and clocking out for the day, you were daydreaming about a certain someone.

Seeun.

It was just so.. weird finding seeun anything other than annoying, your heart skipping beats whenever you catch him looking at you. Why was this the case? You werent sure, too overwhelmed with your feelings to pinpoint an exact answer. Seeun wasnt doing anything different. He was just his regular 'ol seeun self, being at the top of the class while also the class clown, finding new opportunities to make you and hunter laugh.

Yet now it feels like butterflies swarm your stomach whenever you crack a smile at seeuns behavior, hiding your face in your hands to cover your blush. It didn't help that seeun is touchy too, carefully prying your hands away to return the smile, your faces inches away from each other and it feels like your heart was going to explode.

It also didn't help you were starting to dream about the boy, shooting up every night to wipe the sweat from your brows when he was seconds away from kissing you.

In your dreams of course.

You could never imagine actually kissing seeun in real life, the nerves getting the best of you, plus, seeun didnt even like you. You were sure of it. He only saw you as a friend as he did with everyone else. Theres no need to be so delusional.

Until you hear a voice calling your name. And a warm hand attached to your hair, rubbing your scalp. You didnt know what was going on but you enjoyed it, a satisfied hum leaving your lips as you lean into the touch.

"Hey!" You hear that same voice again, a familiar voice. "Wake up, pleasee," you could hear the pout in the voice, and suddenly youre yanked from your precious sleep, lifting your head up to find your friends staring at you.

"Sorry, sorry. Wait- I fell asleep?" You ask confusedly. You dont even remember closing your eyes, let alone snoring. "Are you sure you're okay?" A concerned hunter asks, and although seeun doesnt say anything you can see the concern in his eyes.

When he was so caring, he was so cute, following you like a lost puppy just to make sure you were mentally and physically stable. It was adorable. "Why are you staring? Is there something on my face?" Seeun snaps you out of your thoughts, touching his face in confusion as you realize you were indeed staring.

"Huh? Oh nothing.. its nothing." You avoid his gaze, looking to your side to hide your red cheeks. While it might have worked on seeun, hunter could read you like a book, a smirk quipped onto his face as he watches you clueless idiots. He knew you two would like each other. If not then, it was definitely now.

He stretches his arms as the bell rings, signaling lunch and break time was over. His eyes follow your figure, watching as you hurriedly pack your things before bolting out of the door. But he was already a step in front of you. Patting your shoulder, he slows you down, his next words making your mind spin. "Just, you know, tell him."

Hunter says those five words so casually, like this wasnt some big deal, like he wasnt aware of how you affected you were before walking off, adjusting his straps like it was such an easy thing to do. You despised him, affectionly.

"Wait up!" Seeun runs after you, snapping you out of your thoughts once again. "You know, I've never seen you think before." He hurriedly moves away from your flying hand as you try to hit him, before comfortably walking beside you like a few seconds prior. "Serious, what's wrong? I've never seen you like this." He pouts again, his voice softening and you just want to jump off a cliff at how fast your heart was beating.

"Seeun, its nothi-"

"I know you." He cuts you off, grabbing your hands and looking deep into your eyes. "I know when somethings on your mind."

You open your mouth to say something, but it seemed like the words just evaporated. Seeun shakes his head, before affectionly rubbing his fingers on your palm. "If you cant say it, do it."

"What?"

"You heard me. Do it." You've never seen seeun so serious, his eyes boring into yours before you look away, nervous about the eye contact. But what you wanted to do.. could ruin your friendship. "Please.." he breaks you from your second guesses, his voice strained with desperation. So much desperation you decide to do it, ignoring the consequences.

And without stopping to think you actually do it, getting on your tippy toes to give the frozen boy a peck on the cheek. It was something small, but it felt like you were set on fire. Your hands were still connected so you look down at him, anxiously waiting for his repsonse as you chew on your bottom lip out of fear.

Did you actually ruin everything? A few seconds pass by and still nothing, your eyes stinging as you let go of his hands, about to book it to your next class and cry your eyes out. But you feel something tug at your wrist before youre slammed against the wall, seeun intertwining your hands before placing it above your head, leaning his own to lay his lips onto yours.

Your eyes widen and youre glad youre holding hands because you feel your knees getting weak, but after relaxing under his soft touch he wraps your hands around his neck, his own resting on your waist. You stay like that for a while, enjoying your presences while slowly deepening the kiss. It breaks after a couple seconds because of your shared smiles, your eyes fluttering open to stare at the other in content.

"eHEM. We still have class people," hunter comes out of his hiding spot, scaring the both of you. "R-right." Seeun clears his throat before walking behind hunter, his hands slowly interwining with yours as he gives you a lovesick smile. "We'll talk about this later, okay?" He whispers to you, his eyes lighting up as you nod.

"Okay." You reply before blushing furiously when seeun presses a kiss to your forehead.

"GUYS!!"
