Crave (Band 1) von Tracy Wolff

Crave ist das erste Buch, welches ich 2023 beendet habe.

Obwohl ich am Anfang ein Paar Schwierigkeiten hatte in das Buch rein zu kommen, konnte ich es hinterher gar nicht mehr weglegen. Wendungen mit denen man niemals gerechnet hat und eine unfassbar coole Welt die Tracy Wolff erschaffen hat. Leider liegt Band 2 noch nicht bereit. Ich kann es kaum erwarten mehr von der Katmere Acadamy zu erfahren und noch mehr Hintergrundinformationen zu bekommen. Es ist erfrischend mal etwas anderes zu bekommen und einen wirklichen Einblick davon zu haben wie diese Generation sich verhält, zu der ich ebenfalls gehöre. Ich habe Tränen gelacht. Es ist sehr angenehm zu lesen und ich kann den Hype um diese Reihe sehr gut nachvollziehen, selbst wenn ich erst einen kleinen Einblick davon bekommen habe, wie es in Alaska wirklich zu geht.

Klappentext: Grace Verschlägt es nach dem Tod ihrer Eltern ausgerechnet in die Wildnis von Alaska, wo ihr Onkel ein mysteriöses Internat leitet: die Katmere Academy. Und die Schüler sind nicht weniger rätselhaft, allen voran Jaxon Vega, zu dem Grace sich auf unerklärliche Weise hingezogen fühlt - trotz aller Warnungen, dass sie in seiner Nähe nicht sicher ist. Denn Jaxon hat ein gefährliches Geheimnis und Grace muss sich fragen, ob sie wirklich zufällig in Alaska ist, oder ob jemand sie hergebracht hat… als Köder.
