After the loss of her boyfriend due to police brutality in May 2018, the author finds herself in a vulnerable place with unanswered questions of what ifs and whys. This book is divided into three parts; The Growing Pains, The Healing and The Restoration. From each title it's clear that these are the three stages of the healing process each detailing how she felt through her simplistic poetry as well as a few words of wisdom and thanks to those who were there to support her. Even though this isn't an over the top, exaggerated poetry book with a lot of complicated sentences, it's simplicity creates a clear path for the emotions she feels. Losing someone you love is not easy, books like these get to me and this is the first time in a long time I ugly cried because of a poetry book. [12 LIVROS PARA 2018] . Sei que ainda é novembro, falta um pouco pra acabar o ano ainda, porém já to de saco cheio de 2017 (sorry kkk) e já comecei a fazer planos para o ano que vem. Passei boa parte do ano de 2017 com ressaca literária e por essa razão li muito pouco, então a minha meta de 2018 será de apenas 30 livros, se eu conseguir ler mais que isso ficarei muito feliz, mas se atingir a meta já ficarei muito satisfeita. . Alguns títulos que pretendo ler são: . 1- Caraval 2- The Heart of Betrayal 3- Dama da meia-noite 4- O Rei Corvo 5- Sol e Tormenta 6- Tartarugas até lá embaixo 7- As Primeiras Quinze Vidas de Harry August 8- Filha das Trevas 9- O Herói Perdido 10- Harry Potter e a Câmara Secreta 11- Lua Nova 12- Cidade dos Etéreos . Tentarei ao máximo seguir essa lista e ler todos esses livros, não necessariamente nessa ordem, mas todos. Hoje estou aqui pra falar de livros que quero muito ler, mas o tamanho me assusta, porque sou dessas, leio muito devagar e quando o livro é grande acabo deixando ele de lado pra dar prioridade para os mais fininhos, porém pretendo parar com isso no ano de 2018, afinal de contas tenho muitos calhamaços na minha tbr, socorro! Vou falar alguns: . 🥀Nevernight - A sombra do corvo (foto): Morro de vontade de ler esse livro, quando o ganhei de cortesia quase infartei de tão feliz que fiquei, mas ele é um livro extenso e suas páginas são brancas, ou seja, vou demorar décadas pra ler tudo, porém, pretendo ler ele em breve. Finalmente preciso tomar coragem kkk 🥀Dama da meia-noite: esse sinto até vergonha de falar, já comecei a ler ele diversas vezes mas nunca dei continuidade, preciso ler urgente! 🥀O Nome do Vento: tenho esse livro desde 2015 e já tentei começar a ler, apesar de estar amando, seu tamanho me desanimou um pouco e acabei dando uma pausa, ano que vem pretendo voltar a ler. . Tem vários outros, mas não vou prolongar muito o assunto pra não ficar tão cansativo, mas eu juro que vou tentar superar esse meu medo de calhamaços, porque não faz sentido algum ser assim 😭 .
