Story info for Oc: Dawn used to just be an ordinary girl, working in her hometown at the zoo with her bestest of besties, Jezebel Jenkins, but her entire life changed after she accidentally transformed a bunch of men into animals, after she accidentally handed them magically cursed water while daydreaming about a certain someone she'd seen at the zoo that day (You can probably guess who).

She made it her mission to find all the cursed manimals and break the curse, with the help of Jezebel and their new friend Q-Bae.

During her quest, she not only ends up befriending the cursed manimals, but she also ends up developing feelings for Volks, who although not very trusting towards her at first, ends up developing feelings for her as well.

Her life has definitely changed, but it's changed for the better, and although it may be crazy, she couldn't be happier.

Pitch and Nada are a duo who run a delivery business, they will deliver anything (dont worry they won't check what's inside) for a good price because they are in desperate need of money. They share one braincell and get into a lot of unfortunate hijinks while doing their job! a lot

For a little extra lore:

Pitch is in severe debt. He messed with the wrong crowd and now owes a lot of money to someone not to be messed with. If he doesn't deliver the cash back within the span of their patience, they'll have him hunted down and killed. Pitch values his life a lot, and so finding any way to get easy money, he decided to become a deliveryman and do anything for literally anyone, even other scary people who could kill him easily!

Nada's got a more innocent reason for wanting money, just to fulfill her dream of a big garden boat she can sail across the seas one day. She cares more about her partner not dying though, so she can wait...

Lone Wolf.

*Our story takes place in the forest, the trees and grass are lush and green, the area is flourishing with flowers, and the sound of wildlife fills the air*

*Here, we see Dawn walking down the dirt trail, she is wearing a white tank top, dark blue jeans, and black hiking boots, she is also carrying a backpack*

*She takes a deep breath of the fresh air and sighs*

Dawn: Welp, time to start my survival training!

*She makes her way down the path*

*She's enjoying herself as the wind blows through her hair, the sun shines on her skin, and she hears the sound of birds chirping*

Dawn: *sighs* Sure is beautiful..

*As she's walking around, she suddenly notices something on the trail*

Dawn: Huh? *She walks towards the thing on the trail, and gets down on her knees to examine it*

*Upon closer examination, she realizes that the thing is a footprint*

*The footprint appears to belong to a canine of some sort, was it a dog perhaps, or was it something else..?*

Dawn: Hmm...

*She suddenly hears the sound of howling in the distance*

*This wasn't a normal howl however, it didn't sound canine..it sounded more...human*

Dawn: Huh!?

*She stands up and looks for the source of the sound, only to find nothing but trees and shrubs*

Dawn: Th--That sounded like-

*She then hears the sound of the shrubs rustling behind her*

*Upon turning around, she is greeted by the sight of a frightening, but surprisingly sharply dressed bear*

*The bear roars at her*

*Dawn screams in terror before immediately running away from the large predator*

*The bear snarls and gives chase*

*Dawn runs as fast as she can, hoping she can get away from this ferocious beast*

*She keeps looking around for any sign of civilization, or at least a forest ranger, but no one is around*

*She becomes more and more frightened as she hears the bear behind her*

*While running, her foot hits a rock on the trail*

*She screams as she falls, and grunts in pain upon hitting the cold, unforgiving ground*

*She props herself up and rubs her head*

*That's when she hears a low gutteral growling sound behind her*

*Her face goes pale, and tears well up in her eyes*

*She turns to see the bear standing right in front of her*

*Dawn screams in fear and shuffles herself away from the creature, but she looks to see that there's no where to run, as a wall of rocks is behind her*

*She let's out a terrified sob as it sinks in that she's done for*

*The bear roars at her and raises their right paw, ready to attack*

*Dawn slams her eyes shut and screams in horror*

*Before the bear can lay a claw on her though, a wolf rushes out of the bushes and jumps at the bear, sinking their teeth into the bear's shoulder*

*The bear roars in pain, and tries to pry the wolf out of their shoulder*

*The wolf growls in resistance*

*Dawn slowly opens her eyes in confusion, but before she can even question why she's still alive, she turns her attention to the fight at hand*

*The bear swats their right paw at the wolf, and slashes them off of her*

*The wolf yelps in pain as they hit the ground*

*The wolf glares at the bear and snarls at it*

*The bear snarls at the wolf, angered by the injury they had given them*

*The wolf jumps at the bear again, looking to cause more damage*

*Dawn cannot believe what she's seeing, her eyes stare wide in shock as she sees the two creatures battle each other*

*Several scratches, slashes, and bites are exchanged between the two, but ultimately the wolf comes out on top, after they deliver a nasty bite to the bear's thigh*

*The bear roars in pain and swats the wolf off of them*

*Frustrated and defeated, the bear runs away crying*

*Dawn breathes heavily as she tries to process what just happened*

*The wolf props themself off of the ground and starts licking their wounds*

Dawn: Whoa...

*The wolf turns their attention to the frightened girl, their eyes go wide in surprise*

Dawn: Huh?

*The wolf stares in disbelief at the girl, almost like they recognized her*

*We are then treated to a flashback through a first person perspective of someone standing at a water stand, looking at Dawn as she smiles at them and hands them a water bottle*

*Dawn: Here you go, have a wonderful day! *She says in a cheerful tone*

???: *I--It's her..*

*the wolf thinks to themself*

Dawn: Um..

*The wolf's face immediately changes from a look of disbelief to a look of solemn*

???: Oh it's you.. *The wolf spoke in a male voice*

Dawn: Huh!? *Her eyes go wide at the wolf's words*

???: Well don't get too excited, that bear and I just had some... unfinished business..

Dawn: Uh-I uh..

???: What, haven't you ever seen a wolf before?

*At first Dawn didn't know how to feel, but then she realized this wasn't a normal wolf, it was one of the guys she cursed at the zoo*

Dawn: *She gasps in delight* *She smiles at him*

*The wolf's face changes from it's solemn expression to a look of uncomfortableness*

???: Why're you looking at me like..with that weird gleam in your eye?

Dawn: *She giggles a little*

*The wolf's expression went from uncomfort to nervous as he realized the situation he'd put himself in*

???: Don't tell me you're going to keep bothering me! *He looks down in annoyance* FML...!

*Dawn's expression changes from happy to nervous and immediately changes her tune*

Dawn: O-Oh! *She clears her throat* S-Sorry! I was just excited, I didn't think I'd experience anything like that in my life!

*The wolf looks at her for a split second, but then turns away*

Dawn: Th-Thank you for saving my life, I really-

???: D-Don't mention it..please..

Dawn: I.. I'd like to repay you actually.

???: Repay me?

Dawn: You know, for saving my life.

???: Thanks but.. I'll pass..

*The wolf turns to walk away*

Dawn: W-Wait! Please don't go!

*The wolf starts to walk away*

Dawn: Uh! Please wait! I--I can make you human again!

*This immediately catches the wolf's attention*

*His eyes go wide in surprise upon hearing those words*

???: ....What did you say..?

Dawn: ...M-Me and my friend, we're trying to break the curse!*The wolf slowly looks back at her*

Dawn: I-I know I messed up, I should've payed attention to what I was doing, but I was too busy daydreaming to realize the damage I was doing.

*The wolf slowly turns and looks at her in disbelief*

Dawn: B-But I wanna fix my mistakes, I wanna break this curse, I may not know everything about it, but I really wanna try..please, please let me try to help you..

*The wolf whines a little, he doesn't know whether to believe her, but then again..she could be telling the truth*

*The wolf walks towards her*

???: How do I know you're not lying to me?

Dawn: N-No! I swear on my life I'm not, let lightning strike me if I am!

*The wolf takes a moment to think about it*

*He then turns his attention back to Dawn*

???: Ok.. You can try.. but if this turns out to be a trick, you're gonna get bit.

Dawn: Oh thank you, you won't regret it!

???: Let's hope so.. *He says to himself*

Dawn: My name is Dawnabelle by the way, but you can call me Dawn! What's your name?

*Although reluctant to answer, the wolf eventually gives her the answer she desires*

???: Volks... my name is Volks..

Dawn: Volks? Volks... that's a nice name.

Volks: H-Huh?

Dawn: *She smiles at him*

*Dawn stands up and dusts herself off*

Dawn: Come with me, I can take you to my house, you must be cold and hungry after being out here in the woods for so long.*She starts to walk away*

*Volks turns and stares at her, still concerned whether he should trust her or not*

*Dawn turns and gives him a reassuring smile*

Dawn: Come on, i-if you want to I mean.*

Volks takes a moment to think, although he feels unsure, he also feels that if there's a chance to become human again, he should probably take it*

Volks: *He let's out an exasperated sigh* Ok..

*Volks walks towards Dawn and the two walk away into the distance*

*They had no idea what this quest would have in store for them*
