i grew up and out of thinking that the only person who can hurt me the most is my mom. she is family, i can't change her but i can change how i react to her. i can change the number of interactions i can have with her. i can still call her, miss her and love her without liking everything about her.

she is my mom. she did her best. she will always be there for me in ways no one else can, aside for maybe my papa.

i apologized to God above for not showing my mom how much i appreciate her, how much i grew because of her, how much her love has carried me through my life.

i turned 24 recently, i hope i still have time to do better by her.
