I cannot for the life of me draw humans, so I’ve made some anthro designs for the Mechanisms crew!
In rows from right to left, these are Jonny as a Bengal tiger, Nastya as a gyrfalcon, Ashes as a black kite, Brian as a mouflon, Ivy as a barn owl, the Toy Soldier as a maned wolf, Tim as a coyote, Raphaella as a golden eagle, and Marius as a red fox.
Image descriptions below the cut - be aware they’re long.
[Image set ID: A set of nine digitigrade anthropomorphic designs for the Mechanisms crew. They’re drawn digitally, and have transparent backgrounds. All are wearing their usual outfits, though none have hats. End set ID.]
[Image one description: Jonny d’Ville drawn as a Bengal tiger. The stripes are jagged, mimicking his usual eye makeup. In contrast to his main fur and underbelly’s orange shades (underbelly being almost cream), the stripes are slightly blue-tinted black. Jonny is baring his teeth, and has dark grey eyes. End description one.]
[Image two description: Nastya Rasputina drawn as a gyrfalcon. Her colors are slightly blue-tinted greyscale. There is dark grey barring on her wings, a streak from her eye to mid-neck, and a few small spots around her neck. Nastya’s arms and legs are pale yellow, with dark grey talons and beak. She has a neutral expression, and her eyes are dark blue. End description two.]
[Image three description: Ashes O’Reilly drawn as a black kite. Their colors are a few shades of brown and a warm dark grey. Their face and the middle of their wings are cream-colored, while the tops of their wings, low neck, and tail feathers are more moderate. Their wings’ feather tips and a few spots on their neck are warm black. There is light barring on their wings. Ashes’s arms and legs are a moderate yellow, with medium grey talons and beak. They have a neutral expression and brown eyes. End description three.]
[Image four description: Drumbot Brian drawn as a mouflon. He is mechanical, looking to be made of bronze, with some fur-like texture on his neck. Many bolts and screws are visible at the edges of panels. Brian’s horns, hooves, and nose are a darker color than his main body; his hands, feet, and the end of his snout are lighter-colored than his main body. His eyes are yellow and have rectangular, horizontal pupils. Brian’s expression is neutral. End description four.]
[Image five description: Ivy Alexandria drawn as a barn owl. There are bronze panels visible on the side of her head. The undersides of her wings, her face, and front half of her neck being cream. There are warm grey specks across the middle of her wings and around the back of her neck. The rest of Ivy’s feathers are a moderate brown, while her arms and legs are a tan color, and her talons are grey. Her beak is pale yellow, and her expression is neutral. End description five.]
[Image six description: The Toy Soldier drawn as a maned wolf. Its colors contrast strongly - pumpkin orange main body, cream underbelly, and dark brown along its back. The divisions between colors are clean and smooth. The Toy Solder’s dark facial markings resemble a curled mustache. Its expression is vaguely happy, and its eyes are white. End description six.]
[Image seven description: Gunpowder Tim drawn as a coyote. His eyes have a circuit pattern radiating from the bottom edge and midway onto his cheek. His fur is a few shades of brown, with the grey-est of them on his ears, the back of his neck, along his legs, and on the top of his muzzle. A richer dark brown is present on Tim’s throat, his tail, the backs of his legs, and on the bottom half of his face. His underbelly, inner ear, below his eyes, and a little on the back of his neck have a cream color. End description seven.]
[Image eight description: Raphaella la Cognizi drawn as a golden eagle. Her wings are mechanical and look to be made of bronze; each feather is separate from the next, with the quills connecting beneath the joints of the wings. She’s a golden brown color, with a darker shade on her underbelly, the edges of her tail feathers, and a streak from her eye to the middle of her neck. A lighter shade is present along her beak and in a fragmented stripe on her tail feathers. Raphaella’s arms and legs are a moderate yellow color. Her expression is vaguely happy or interested, and her eyes are a moderate blue-green. End description eight.]
[Image nine description: Marius von Raum drawn as a red fox. His main body is a dull orange, with some grey ticking on his tail and the back of his neck. His ears, the bottom and tip of his tail, and his muzzle are a near-black brown. Marius’s underbelly and part of his tail are cream-colored. He is smirking, and his eyes are dark brown. End description nine.]

Wildlife Photography in Jim Corbett National Park
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wildlife photography is a style of crafting photographs of wild animals in their natural environment. This is a difficult art of taking images. Because we cannot control natural habits of wild animals. Jim Corbet National Park is ideal for jungle safari and wildlife photography. This reserve forest is located in near Ramnagar town, Nainital district of Indian state Uttarakhand. Corbett National Park is sheer heaven for tourists, nature lovers and wildlife lovers. The forest covers at least 75% of the park. 10 % of the park is covered by grasslands. Mango, eucalyptus, haldu, rohini, sal and more types of trees can be found in the park. The wildlife of the park consists Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, deers, barking deers, hog deers, Himalayan black bears, sambar deers, monkeys from different species, wild hens, Indian Monitor lizards, Pallas’s fish eagle, Tawny fish owls, golden jackals, Indian pythons, Indian pangolins, Himalayan gorals, wild cats, sloths, Indian crocodiles and more. Overall this place is great for nature, landscape and wildlife photography. Lakhs of tourists visit the park every year to enjoy the vibe of the forest and wildlife. But leopard sighting is extremely rare. It can happen very few times in years. The best time to visit Jim Corbet is between October to March. It remains closed for the visitors in monsoon.

Wildlife fun begins here in Ranthambore National Park
A magical time for the travel industry is here, and it's a time when the entire tours & travels can have their way to make the most of this. You will have a unique eco-tourism experience that brings you closer to nature. The place is indeed good, the food is great, and the safaris are startling. You will be guided by a team that is specifically trained in diverse aspects of jungles and ensures that your experience is as gratifying as promising.
Wildlife in Ranthambore
Unique variety of animals, reptiles, and birds to be encountered here and no less than beauty unlimited, tigers, deer, and different forms of birds.
The list is big with the land animals such as Emu, eastern brown snake, Gang-gang Cockatoo, wolf spider, wedge-tailed eagle, tiger, snake, Bengal fox, striped hyena, and many more. Dominant species Tiger is very strong and they roam and stroll around their territories so that nobody can dare to go inside and take over their place.
Because of Ranthambore's unique climatic and vegetational characteristics, its forests are dry, open, and stunted. As a result, wildlife viewing is relatively easier on safari.
Tumblr media
What I have discovered in Ranthambore Jungle
Birds
More than 320 species of birds are there in real but I managed to have the beautiful sighting of both resident and migratory including Parakeets, Asian Palm Swift, Owl, Nightjars, Pigeon, Dove, Crakes, Snipes, Sandpipers, Gulls, and Terns.
Mammals
Among 40 species of mammals, and 35 species of reptiles found in the park I managed to get a glimpse of a few amphibian species such as crocodiles, lizards, snakes, chameleons, turtles, tortoises common India toad.
A unique mix of nature, history, and wildlife
When I went through Ranthambore National Park premises unique mix of nature, history, and wildlife was overwhelming and made my heart-felt with pride that it was my worth decision to be here. Surrounded by the beautiful landscape and breathing in the fresh air amidst organic nature would be a very meaningful visit.
Conclusion
Ranthambore is a good place to go on your first tiger safari, however. The forest is dry-deciduous, meaning it has very little undergrowth and most trees shed their leaves in the dry season. Because of this, it is easier to capture photos of tigers since they are less hidden away.
I stored a few Instagram-worthy images which will be loved by you as they are unique and very specific and can be rarely found on the internet.  This best combination of heritage and wildlife draws much inspiration from its dazzling mountainscape setting. Every corner of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve is rustic and turn your head often. It has a certain story to tell.

The Indian eagle-owl, also called the rock eagle-owl or Bengal eagle-owl (Bubo bengalensis), is a species of large horned owl restricted to the Indian Subcontinent. They are found in hilly and rocky scrub forests, and are usually seen in pairs. They have a deep resonant booming call that may be heard at dawn and dusk. They are typically large owls, and have "tufts" on their heads. They are splashed with brown and grey, and have a white throat patch with black small stripes.
The taxonomy of the group is complex due to a large amount of variation. There is a lot of color variation with the ground color being dark brown above while some are pale and yellowish. The facial disk is unmarked and has a black border. The base of the primaries is unbanded and rufous. The tail bands have the tawn bands wider than the black ones. A large pale scapular patch is visible on the folded wing. The inner claws are the longest. The last joint of the toes are unfeathered.  Stuart Baker noted that there were two plumage variants that were seen across their range, one plumage has the back and scapulars spotted in white while the other form has a reduced number of white spots on the feathers of the back and the dark streaking on the back, neck and scapulars being prominent.
They are seen in scrub and light to medium forests but are especially seen near rocky places within the mainland of the Indian Subcontinent. Bush covered rocky hillocks and ravines, and steep banks of rivers and streams are favorite haunts. It spends the day under the shelter of a bush or rocky projection, or in a large mango or similar thickly foliaged tree near villages. Humid evergreen forest and extremely arid areas are avoided.
Their diet through much of the year consists of rodents, but birds seem to be mainly taken towards winter. When feeding on rodents, they tear up the prey rather than swallow them whole.
The nesting season is November to April. The eggs number three to four and are creamy white, broad roundish ovals with a smooth texture. They are laid on bare soil in a natural recess in an earth bank, on the ledge of a cliff, or under the shelter of a bush on level ground. The nest site is reused each year. The eggs hatch after about 33 days and the chicks are dependent on their parents for nearly six months.
This large owl with the distinctive face, large forward-facing eyes, horns and deep resonant call is associated with a number of superstitions. Like many other large owls, these are considered birds of ill omen. Their deep haunting calls if delivered from atop a house are considered to forebode the death of an occupant. A number of rituals involving the capture and killing of these birds have been recorded. Salim Ali notes a wide range of superstitions related to them but notes two as being particularly widespread. One is that if the bird is starved for a few days and beaten, it would speak like a human, predicting the future of the tormentor or bringing them wealth while the other involves the killing of the bird to find a lucky bone that moved against the current like a snake when dropped into a stream. Belief in these superstitions has led to the persecution of the species in many areas by tribal hunters. The capture of these birds is illegal under Indian law but an underground market continues to drive poaching.
