Wwx tries to explain to lwj but is cut off by the lack of air. Lwj realises wwx has gills and can't breathe so he picks him up like the strong bf he is and carries wwx to the rail of the deck but hesitates because he's afraid he'll never see wwx again once he returns to the sea. He knows he'll have to let go of course since wwx is literally running out of air. In a last bit of desperation lwj kisses him for the first (and what he thinks is the last) time, and wwx kisses him back. Realising the situation wwx is in will only get worse the longer he stays above the water and in sight of the bloodthirsty humans around them he pushes wwx into the sea.
