Undiagnosed autistic mom with a diagnosed autistic son

Background info: I have an adult brother as well as a 7 year old son with diagnosed autism. I’m an adult female who shows many of the signs of being autistic but have never been diagnosed.

I sometimes find my son’s vocal/auditory stimming overwhelming. Loud noises don’t bother him as long as he’s the one making them, usually some form of rattling toys. What would be a good way to redirect him that would give him the stim he needs that isn’t as overwhelming to me? I’ve tried sensory bottles but he tries to open them, often destroying the cap in the process, and becomes upset when I can’t fix it. We (my husband and I, though this is also an issue at school) also have trouble with him fixating on objects that aren’t his. Computers and phones left unattended are considered fair game, anything with buttons especially ones that beep are constantly messed with, and anything that draws his interest, regardless of who it actually belongs to, are often considered fair game as well. I tend to be really possessive of my things, especially my art supplies as I know his first instinct is to dump them out, and it’s super frustrating for both of us when I’m repeatedly telling him to leave things alone, they aren’t his, he needs to ask first then respect it if the answer is no, or he’s just having trouble controlling his impulses in that moment. I’m trying to balance his need for stim and fixations with my need for boundaries as well as teach him the importance of consent. Any and all advice is appreciated.
