When you showed him that. No. It's not actually for speaking. You can tune it to sing and that's it's proper use? He found A LOT more fun in it.

He's genuinely really intrigued. If it makes you happy? He's happy too.

He asks you to show him all the cool little tricks you can do. All the voices you have.

(He loves the kagamines the most.)

Even though you don't sing. He's always sure to make sure you don't really feel insecure about your voice. He knows you're talented and you do too.

He doesn't mind providing you the background music to the songs if you ever decide to do a more elegant song like Regret Message or something (two of a kind maybe?)

His favorite is actually someone very specific. He likes Miku for her range but he also really likes Kaito because his voice is a lot more mature than the others. (Don't tell anyone but he has a weak spot for Yuki as well.)

Coming from an environment kinda similar to his (but obviously way less harsh) so I sorta get why he did it. I think his younger sister is who he killed? If that's the case, then I can't forgive him. Maybe a few years ago I would've been more neutral on it, but right now I just can't stand the idea of someone killing their younger sibling. I can't think of any instance shown that shows evidence of her ever being hostile towards him so that makes it a bit worse imo.

BIOGRAPHY

1. I know he doesn't have an official name in Kanji so Japanese BtD fans would always refer to him by katakana (when you want to pronounce foreign words in Japanese) as レン (Ren). But if he were to have a proper Japanese name with Kanji, it would be 華蓮 (Hana Ren). It means Lotus Flower. <3

2. His mom used to sang "Kawa No Nagare No You Ni" and he still remembers it to this day.

PREFERENCES

1. Thinks anime with lolis in it are fucking cringe (whats wrong with anime industry wtf why is that dragon anime so popular?)

2. His favourite Vocaloid music has to be Drop Pop Candy, and his favourite Vocaloid producer is Jesus-P.

3. His favourite Vocaloid has to be Len and Rin FOR SURE. He just couldn't decide.

4. He has way too many favourite Jpop singers, but that includes REOL, GARNIDELIA, Teddyloid, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Kenshi Yonezu, BABYMETAL, POLKADOT STINGRAY and Eve.

5. HATES NETORARE/NTR! So if he were to go on Nhentai and idk do his own business and turns out it was NTR, he would be sad.

Gives his children hugs and kisses like, every few hours.

Posts about his kids on social media and will happily show their baby pictures if asked.

Would develop a slight filter (ie. no sex jokes).

Everything else is OK though which inevitably leads to them developing a potty mouth.

Especially if they’re playing games together.

Somehow manages to keep up with all those newfangled hobbies his kids are into and wholeheartedly supports them.

That said, he does slightly wish his kids would appreciate “the classics” a teeny bit more…

Always gives out great, if sometimes unsolicited, advice.

By the time his children start moving out of the house, he’ll be in tears (and probably drunk as well).

Sure, he can return to his old lifestyle now, but he’s really gonna miss them…

Often tries to find time in his schedule to attend any important life events and host family reunions.

Whenever he appears, expect him to become the subject of constant gossip among the guests.

As long as he can spend time with his family, he’s happy.

Surprisingly, he does a decent job at being a dad.

Can often be seen eating at restaurants with his kids.

He would cook healthier meals for them if possible, but we all know how that turned out.

The only gadgets his children are allowed to own are laptops (for schoolwork) and flip phones (for texts and calls).

He’s not going to talk about his kids on social media and he’s not letting them have social media either.

Highly encourages his children to study hard and develop good financial habits.

Over time, he developed an immunity to tactics like “puppy eyes” and “claiming they REALLY need the shiny new toy”.

If it’s something both of them want though, he’ll be a VERY unbearable customer.

If his kids do well in school, he’ll host watch parties to celebrate.

These almost always end with his kids laughing at him after lots of chaotic banter.

But if anyone else insults him or his kids, they’ll be on the receiving end of a hellish roast.

When his children move out, he’ll call them once a month for life updates.

Every day, he prays that they don’t repeat any of his mistakes in life.

Usually absent due to work, but when he DOES visit it’s a blast.

Spoils his kids with whatever they want if they ask nicely.

New clothes? They’re going to the most fashionable malls in town!

Spending the afternoon playing games? He’ll be down for that!

As long as the house is clean afterwards, anything is fine.

Speaking of cleaning, Luca would definitely teach his kids practical life skills like cooking and cleaning and fighting.

Would 100% record himself pranking his kids.

Has a massive influence on their life even when NOT present.

Those who pose even the slightest inconvenience must disappear.

No going outside without the protection of bodyguards.

And the shadow of his accomplishments shall always loom over his descendant’s heads.

He’s trying his best.

Tends to fawn over how cute his favorite child is (or just his child if they have no siblings).

Spends a good chunk of the afternoon nerding out about things he liked “back in the day”.

If none of his kids end up liking Vocaloid, then he has failed as a parent.

Yes, he would un-ironically say that things were better back in HIS day.

Ike’s unhealthy eating habits are contagious and will spread to the rest of the family.

Would casually call himself a father on a random social media post without bringing it up ever again.

His advice usually tends to be “do want you want, but be responsible”.

i think it would be my voice. im very talkative so it would be a sort of symbolic thing plus it would work for a fun parallel with Toy Soldier (voice vs everything but voice), similar to what Jonny and Brian have. i also imagine a mechanised voice to be basically just a vocaloid which i think is very funny.

im a tma fan so that wasn't hard lol. i was wondering what sort of music those fabled "Mechanisms" did so one day on a trip to czechia, i looked them up and hit the play button. i have never been the same since!! :D

a serious headcanon: Lyfrassir being half-jotun. idk why, it just stuck with me. so much so that some elements of it bled over to my hcs of Jonathan Jarchivist Sims, due to an au where he's Lyf.

a random headcanon: Jonny can sew. and he's pretty good at it. well, his mother did never sew him shit.

a funny headcanon: Marquis de All The Knives was a Roomba with ten knives taped to it. it took the whole ship, including Aurora herself, a week to get the situation sorted out.

Prisoner 010: Okura Mayumi - Trial 2

General info

Verdict: GUILTY

Physical changes: Mayumi's hair is often tied into a braid now, laid over her shoulder. Unlike the rest of the guilty prisoners, her face isn't pale and she hasn't developed any eyebags. Its likely that she hasn't been plagued by nightmares. Her longer restraints are the only aspect of her uniform that has changed.

Behavioral changes: She's become more reserved and quiet, mostly only talking to Haku as he practices playing the piano. She spends most of her time in her room nowadays, only leaving to ask other prisoners specific questions, as if interrogating them. She just wants to learn the truth about this time.

After talking for a while with Suzume, she now seems to harbor some ill feelings towards her. The air is tense whenever they're in a room together. They always seem to be one wrong move away from snapping at each other. The other prisoners have tried to ask about it, but they refuse to answer. They've been left to sort it out for now.

MV description: Half of her MV is filled with slightly faded pastel colours like her first MV. Starting from the scene when she's in her room, most of the frames are dark and foreboding. The last scene is back to being pastel, but the colours are brighter.

The MV starts with a young Mayumi walking through what looks like a career fair. A baker hands out free samples to an an eager batch of children before directing their attention to the cookies baking a nearby oven. A man dressed as a firefighter helps a young boy to am a hose at the "fire" of a fake building. Mayumi looks around with interest, stopping in her tracks when something catches her eye. A group of girls watching intently as a nurse demonstrates bandaging a man's forearm. Intrigued, she heads over.

A montage of Mayumi sitting in class as her teacher points to a food web drawn on a board. A well-dressed man giving a presentation in a meeting. An architect drawing out the blue prints for a building. A taxi driver picking up a couple from the airport. Mayumi peers at a display of fossils from behind a case of glass. Her brother pops up beside her, dragging his plastic dinosaur toy across the glass. She quickly pulls him away.

The camera cuts to present Mayumi searching up information on her victim. His mugshot pops up, along with a list of his victims. She searches their names one by one. Mio. Nozomi. Kagome. Missing posters turn up for all of them.

The audio of a dialing ringtone mixes with the song. Mayumi raises her phone to her ear, presumably calling someone. An elderly woman answers, her face blurred out. Mayumi twirls a bottle of medicine in her hand as she talks. The woman starts to cry, screaming something into the phone. Mayumi waits for a moment before hanging up. The camera zooms out as she continues to sit by her computer desk in the dark room.

A group of girls gathered around another girl, crumpled to the ground while holding a hand to her bruised face. Men gambling at a casino. A drunkard stumbling out of a bar. A news reported talking about a murder that occurred last night, showing CCTV footage of someone getting stabbed outside an office building. Mayumi's victim on his bed. His heart beat slowing to a stop. The ECG flatlines.

The camera cuts to Mayumi sitting by the defendant's table in the courtroom. The judge is her as well, along with the jury. Everyone in the court room is her actually. Judge Mayumi asks the jury to declare their verdict. Jury Mayumi stands up to read from the slip of paper in her hand. She opens her mouth and the screen goes black before their verdict can be revealed. End.

The second picrew didn't have a pencil skirt option, so I have Mayumi white pants instead. She still wears the same uniform as she did in trial 1 though, picrews just don't always work out.

[meet the prisoners!] prisoner 007: yano asahi

just so you know most of the time i have no idea what to do with my ocs' hands.

so, we already know which prisoner is the oldest one, but what about the youngest one? well, here he is! (fun fact: he was actually supposed to be even younger at first)

this boy.. tbh i'm not so sure about his verdict as well, like at the same time THIS IS A CHILD AND HE PROBABLY SHOULDN'T BE HERE but also.. he's not really the most sympathetic prisoner here.

Personality: Asahi appears to be a sweet child when you first meet him, however, his true personality is not like that at all. He's very rude, he swears more often than all the older prisoners, he says mean things without thinking and whenever someone tells him that it's wrong to act like that, he just lies on the floor and cries or says that he's just a child, so it's okay if he makes mistakes like that. He takes full advantage of his age and even makes other prisoners do all kinds of things for him, because "he's a child, so he's too weak to do it himself". It's obvious that he was very spoiled by his parents: he asked for a different prisoner uniform because he didn't like this one, he's the one who requests more stuff than all the other prisoners and if something doesn't go his way, he starts crying and says that he will tell his mom about it. But even though he is almost never seen smiling or laughing, he's actually.. very calm when it comes to his crime? He never mentions it and when the guards ask him about it, he simply goes "Huh? What crime?". At first the guards thought that he's just pretending or maybe he's so cruel that he doesn't care about his crime.. But for some reason, it also feels like he actually doesn't know what crime he committed. Or maybe he does know, he just.. doesn't want to think about it.

Which canon Milgram song he would cover: Half. YES. THE YOUNGEST PRISONER HERE WOULD SING HALF. It fits his backstory well not counting the whole cheating on your wife part and for some reason I actually can imagine him singing it and it would sound good with the voice I imagine him to have. Maybe his cover would be like a cuter and softer (but still very emotional) version of the original song?

Which DECO*27 song he would cover: Iiya. The lyrics actually sound a lot like Asahi and I can definitely imagine him singing it for. Reasons that I can't talk about yet.

If he could cover a song by a different Vocaloid producer, which one would it be: All I Need Are Things I Like by Pinocchio-P.

His MV description: .. his MV would have a goth aesthetic actually. It would mostly have gray and black colors, but some important objects would be the same color as Asahi's image color.

His MV starts with Asahi sitting in his room, looking bored and watching the clock tick. He gets annoyed and walks to the door, but something stops him from leaving the room. He starts walking around the room and it looks like he's thinking deeply about something. He looks at all his toys (and he has.. a lot of them) and.. suddenly starts crying while hugging one of them? It does look sad and makes you feel bad for him, but the lyrics are actually about him feeling like "this is not enough, he deserves more" and him asking someone to "give him everything he wants, because he's their only joy in life and he should be treated as one". He looks at a particular plushie he has, the one that looks like a strawberry and for some reason he finally decides to leave the room.

We see Asahi in his room again and now he's actually playing with his toys, though he still looks bored. The lyrics mention that he's still "not satisfied" and "he won't stop until he gets what he wants". He looks at some books he has in his room and decides to read one of them just because he has nothing else to do and it looks like he actually finds it interesting. It gives him inspiration to do something and he gets so excited that he starts writing something in his notebook while lying on his bed, still surrounded by his toys. If you look closer, you can see that he's writing something called "A list of weaknesses". When he's done, he starts laughing and it looks like he is not exactly sane right now. The POV suddenly changes and it looks like we're opening the door to Asahi's room and see what he's doing. Asahi pretends like everything is fine and just smiles at us.

We still see everything from that person's POV and now it looks like that person is having dinner with Asahi. There's no one else around and the whole scene just gives off that feeling of loneliness. The person stops eating to tell Asahi something and he still looks annoyed, but he listens anyway. But then, everything becomes blurry, even though we can still see that now Asahi is smiling and that person's food was actually the same color as Asahi's image color. That person falls on the floor and now Asahi looks like he is actually scared for them and he even tries to help them get up, but everything goes dark before he is able to do anything.

The POV changes and we're opening a door again and we can see Asahi lying in a puddle of something that looks like a bright green liquid. We walk closer to him and try to wake him up and when he does, he looks at us with a confused face expression and the lyrics say "Hey, can you remind me, what did I even want?"

"Huh? Why do you even want to know my name? If you're soooo smart, then you probably know it already, don't you?" *SLAP* "OW! What the fuck are you- Fine, fine! Trivia:

Murder is his only crime and he had only one victim.

Of course, he believes that he will get an innocent verdict and it's just not possible for him to be voted guilty.

He spends most of his free time eating something or playing with the toys he requested.

Some prisoners have mentioned that they heard Asahi talking to someone in the middle of the night, but when they checked, it was just him sitting in his cell and talking to himself. They heard him talk about the other prisoners, Milgram and this whole situation. When it was morning and they asked Asahi about it, he denied everything and he looked genuinely confused.

He's not close with any prisoners and he especially hates Akio even though they're very similar.

Naomi is a little scared of him because of him being almost the same age as her students (though a little bit older) and she tries to avoid him when she can. However, Asahi himself doesn't think she's that bad and other prisoners even say that he sees her as a mother figure.

Even though he's not friends with anyone here, he still refers to all other prisoners by "Nii-san" and "Nee-san", basically treating them as his older brothers and sisters. And about the guards.. he really doesn't like Eiji, so he refuses to call him that, but he eventually warmed up to Miki and started calling her his big sister as well. (Edit: that was changed and he's actually calling everyone "(Name)-nii" and "(Name)-nee" now. I just thought that it sounds more like him)

Other prisoners didn't want him to spend time with Kei, because they were afraid that Kei will be a "bad influence". To everyone's shock (even Kei's), Asahi understood.. uh, everything that comes out of Kei's mouth perfectly and when they asked where he got this knowledge, he just said that "he's young, but he's not stupid".

The forest sekai:

Riku wishes he could go outside more, but he hates the presence of other people. He also loves singing, but only has the courage to do so when he's home alone. These feelings manifest as a sekai where he can sing to his heart's content in a beautiful forest.

In the middle, there's a big clearing where the sun always shines and a set of two swings. A path through the forest leads to the shore with a lighthouse. Sometimes they host tea parties with Miku, Rin, and Len. The wild animals inhabiting the sekai often come around as well.

The other three virtual singers appear as cats who like to meow or mrow along to the melody. Riku loves them a lot, sometimes they play or nap together in the sun. Kaito is a big softie, Luka is really fluffy but sort of a tsundere, and Meiko loves playing, especially with the toys Riku brings them himself.

There's a koi pond, and a lot of room to build sandcastles by the lighthouse. They stay in the same state forever unless the person who made it destroys the castle themselves.

She has a habit of tugging her own braids whenever she feels like she’s made a mistake. In fact, she’s quite anxious in general, but regarding her crime, she has a very strong conviction that she did the right thing.

She’s rather lighthearted about the whole “prisoner” deal, and doesn’t think that anyone will actually get hurt or that she’s in any danger. Her concerns are more with the others liking or not liking her than anything else.

Her background music would have a music box-like feel, with several short loops, as well as a bit of guitar. The lyrics are all about listening and being obedient.

The MV starts with Risa playing with dolls: a typical Barbie that’s smaller than the other two, a ragdoll, and something that looks more like an action figure.

It’s intercut with scenes of her singing inside a dollhouse, which has more spring-like colours than the rest of the MV, which is in autumn shades.

She has a tea party with the dolls, but accidentally spills something orange in front of the ragdoll. She then knocks over the action figure, right on top of the ragdoll. She picks up the Barbie and walks away.

She plays cashier with the Barbie, where the ragdoll is one of the items to be checked out.

She uses a toy hairbrush to brush her own hair and braid it, until something falls to the floor behind her, and she turns around hurriedly, leaving the Barbie behind. The lights in the room are still warm and yellow, but the window behind her is light blue, and it’s snowing heavily.

The background music begins to get faster and faster, and the lyrics get more forceful. She begins tossing various doll clothes and toys to the side, where they land around the now-empty dollhouse set.

Risa walks through a set of fancy hallways, until she spots the ragdoll and action figure on an end table. She tosses the ragdoll aside, but knocks over the action figure in the process. The background music glitches out. She then looks around nervously and puts the figure back up.

Risa throws the dollhouse down a set of stairs, and it breaks apart in a dark place that looks like a basement. The guitar music disappears. She clutches her empty hands together.
