His cold lifeless flat, as he describes so, was somehow comforting to him. Then with his approval and with my family's permission as well, I moved in to Baker Street as his flatmate. 221b was closer to my office so it was an advantage in convincing my family to let me shift to Baker Street. Since then I've seen two sides of Sherlock. One, the side everyone knows, the analytical cold detective. And two, the side which is revealed to very few people, luckily for me being one of them. Living so close to him taught me he has a soft side. The one that's like a goofy child. The one who sits infront me while I paint just staring at the painting to be done with fascination in his eyes. The one that takes a brush from my set that I'm not using at that moment and starts to draw patterns on a crumbled paper, one of those which contained a case which was still unsolved and bugged him.

"open it, I just hope you like it." replied he, With, what I believe to be a bit nervousness in his voice, yet also a bit of excitement. So I giggled at his childishness and opened the box. To my delight it was a chocolate muffin. A big one, loaded with chocolate chips.

"oh gosh my favourite muffin!" I could barely hold my excitement to me. Turning to him I saw a wide smile spreading accross his lips what was alot like a relief.

"yes, it's yours, I hope it tastes good too" said the man who was perhaps more than ten years older than me, not perhaps, he was alot older than me. But it never felt so, he was still a goofy kid somehow.

"ofcourse it'll be, where's yours?" he must've bought for himself as well I presumed. And a lovely evening with tea and our muffins was on my mind, oh not to forget, the exciting stories he is yet to tell.

"m-mine?" he stuttered, as if him having bought a muffin for himself was out of question.

"yes yours, don't tell me you bought a tasty big muffin for me and not for yourself, how could you resist?" seriously, how could he resist the urge to get his hands on such a precious thing.

"I.." he trailed off, as if he was confused, "didn't think about getting one for me actually".

These are the kind of replies that makes me wanna wrap him in my arms. This man never thought anything good for himself, never got anything good for himself. But I couldn't just have it on my own. The box contained the store name and address, which is far away, perhaps somewhere near his case led him to. So going there and buying another was out of question, but this muffin was big enough, and sharing is always an option.

"you know what?" I spoke, regaining some enthusiasm, "how about some tea?"

"that sounds wonderful" that's it, that's the reply I wanted to hear before going to the kitchen. I took out our cups and Mrs Hudson was always there to bring us a kettle filled with tea.

Sherlock took his chair and sat while I sat on one beside his. I placed our cups while he poured the tea.

"we forgot the biscuits, I'll get them give me minute." he was getting up from his chair when I interrupted.

"no need" looking at him I saw his baffled expressions again. Honestly Sherlock, enough baffling for one day. "sit down, I have something better".

He sat yet he was utterly confused, Even more not less when he saw me taking out the muffin and cutting it into half. Smart detective knew the other half belongs to him, or I want so.

"here, have something better than regular biscuits" saying so with a smile I passed the plate with his part of the muffin closer to him.

"but... that.." he stuttered again, "that was for you" after a pause he finally formed the sentence.

"yes, which means I can do anything I want with it."

He kept on looking at me and with a soft nod took a piece in his spoon. Then slowly he took the piece in. I could see his expression changing again while he munched that piece of muffin, into something that indicated if he were someone else he could've shaded a drop of tear or two.

"hey" I said pating his shoulder and keeping my palm on it, "what happened?"

He raised his face so his eyes were staring into mine, but there was barely any intensity in his eyes at that moment. there was, what I presume is sadness. He finally inhaled a deep breath before speaking up,

"I have..." he paused, he was collecting words I was sure of it, "I've never considered myself as someone who deserves anything good."

His word, about himself, it's devastating he thinks so little about himself.

"what are you talking about?" baffled, I was puzzled way too much to figure out what was going inside him, imagine a man like him is unable to see anything good in him. "Sherlock, please, you literally save hundreds of lives".

"I have also shot one"

"to save john, your best friend".

He looked around as if trying to find more proof against him.

"Sherlock?" I called him softly, as he turned his face to me I got up from my chair and to his utter surprise, embraced him, rather his head, leaning it on my chest. His body turned stiff, apparently he didn't expect a hug.

"you're the best and the most wisest man people have ever seen, and the kindest and the most innocent person I've ever had the opportunity to know".

His stiffness lessened with these words and finally he let himself fall into my arms, fall into my embrace, unknowingly I also leaned on him. My cheek touching his curls. His rather soft curls.

"you're saying this?" he asked with such joy and surprise in his voice.

"yes ofcourse, why not". I waited for a reply, it took him time but finally he said,

"because you've always been the sunshine for me. Since the day you've entered in my life, since I've got to know you. my work was all I knew but for some reason I longed to come home at night to you. I always saw you as someone whom I don't deserve, who's too good for me, too young for me. So I just enjoyed every second we are together, fir one day you may choose someone to love and move out. I tried to do every little thing that could bring you happiness. I was so lost, with you I found my way. But I won't demand anything from you, because I believe someone young, handsome a better person should be with you".

I couldn't believe, but I had to, it was all real, his words, his feelings, him.

"you never said you think of me so highly" I whispered.

"that's why I was broken everytime I saw you with a guy, but I was way more broken when I saw you shedding tears for them leaving you, how could someone like you be someone's second choice when to me you're not just the first or only choice but my whole being knows you're the right choice, a bit too right I was afraid to ever consider myself as your lover, I didn't dare to think of anyone else since I laid my eyes on you, I never chose anyone, no matter how smart, attractive or lovely they were, because now I see, I was supposed to choose you, I got so utterly devoted to you that I don't remember myself anymore. I only know you."

"Sherlock " I whispered his name while slowly letting his head go, I sat in my chair and wondered how beautiful his feelings are that neither his nor my eyes could hold a drop of tear from falling down. "now it's my turn then, I've barely been ever treated this well as you've confessed yourself, I've barely been completely understood. do you think, this immature, little less intelligent, day dreamer flatmate of yours is worthy of you?"

I knew it'd be enough to overwhelm him if he really thought so highly of me and it did. He didn't stop his tears this time, he immediately embraced me and we both cried silently while embracing eachother until his warm voice was heard saying, "then I guess we are actually worthy of eachother ".

I giggled, yes we are. absolutely yes.

"yes, I'll keep you happy ".

"and I'll treat you well."

ayano is into homestuck. used to role play warrior cats. loves the marvel cinematic universe, and just any superhero comic book stuff in general. canonically into jojo.

kido's is BANDS. specifically bands considered emo back in 2013 or something. my chemical romance. blink 189. black veil brides. that was their shit. also im sorry but they were a superwholock. sorryyyyyy i also think they'd be into medical dramas like grey's anatomy and dr house LMAO

i dont think seto did or does fandoms. i think seto goes outside too much. he's the only one who has no idea what being in a fandom is like, also the least online definitely (I'll get to mary)

kano would be into youtubers/celebrities. he's so into celebrity gossip it's impossible to talk to him he knows of names youve never even heard of.

haruka and takane are the fnaf lore guys especially haruka i seriously think he arrives to school one day after he stayed up all night watching fnaf lore videos and told takane all about it. they're the ones lining up for the movie rn. they also probably roleplayed undertale together in highschool. also i think takane likes analog horror which is horrible for haruka bc i think he hates horror but he's also weirdly fascinated by it so he's watching through his fingers anything takane puts on lol. they tend to share their fandoms especially in hs because haruka was furiously googling anything takane mentioned to have conversation topics with her

hiyori's obviously into idols. i think like kido she loves bands too but she's from the directioner bts stan vibes. and hibiya i LOVE to make jokes abt him being into whatever 12 year olds are into (fortnite, among us, fnaf) and seriously i do love that and i think gamer hibiya is possible with the power of him making the effort to learn to use his phone and the internet bc all his friends live far away and in the process learns abt all that. but before that he was like seto he has no idea what it feels like to be in a fandom and cannot understand hiyori's visions. he's still not SUPER online though

quite a bit i think. i tend to draw big canvases with upwards of 100 layers of Anything(tm) so about 20% actually sees the light of day 🧍… i’m shy

it’s ok i love opinion sharing 🧘‍♀️ this is HARD cuz i mean . smth smth art is subjective . i think all artists are dedicated to their craft and how/what they draw. smth not for Me works for Someone and that’s why art is awesum. besides i don’t tend to follow artists if i didn’t enjoy their work in some capacity LOL so u can have my opinion on a style: i’m not into anime realism

like i have respect and love for the artists. i empathize w them cuz this genre is ai art’s greatest victim. it’s very… art meant for easy consumption? “beautiful” and nothing else evocative? nothing challenging to the audience. a near perfect contemporary style for people who are afraid of art. easy to steal, clearly. it’s uninteresting to me to see a piece of art and only call it beautiful and be unable to dissect why beyond technical skill 🧍..

but also being technically well done is Not a bad thing. i do think these works are made skillfully. stylized realism presents unique challenges, and it’s awesome when ppl can figure it out for themselves. i’m not gonna name names cuz no one specific comes to mind but well u could just type realistic anime girl into google or whatever and you’ll get the idea 🫡

30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated

MAN normally i’d say i wish my ocs got attention. and i do. i love making my webcomics and talking abt my ocs and drawing them!! but it’s ok cuz well i know i love my ocs soooo. it’s ok

i’m gonna say this piece!! i don’t often do this type of work even though it’s a style i love working in. i was worried my intention wouldn’t come across very clear (heartbroken americana, i’ve been calling it) and i just don’t think i have the audience for this. it’s a little too vulnerable and too idealistic in discussing usamerican patriotism turning commodification into religious iconography… the higher powers of pop culture and the watering down of social identity by what we understand thru film lenses versus being oneself in their community… is this all buzzword talk. is the only way we can engage in greater issues is when someone can fictionalize it and create a safe barrier of reality disconnect. is it meaningful to create art about this when i myself am begging and needing my pain and grief to be understood through that same barrier. god was a 2 dollar cheeseburger before inflation

It's so nice to talk to you 🥰💜 I want you to know that I just woke up, and your ask made me so happy I decided I wanted to answer it while eating my breakfast and having some tea, before I go to work. I'm also very flattered and honoured that you would think of me as the CEO of Kalim x Idia; that's so very sweet of you! I really do love talking about them, and I am glad it shows.

For how Kalim would treat Ortho:

Kalim's an older brother, with a lot of younger siblings. He also is really cheerful in his disposition and is kind to everyone. He's very sentimental and loves to help others. I think Kalim would easily treat Ortho kindly.

While initially, he treats Ortho with the same kindness and enthusiasm that he treats everyone, I think that will change a bit as he realizes his feelings for Idia. Kalim may be very emotional and openly sentimental, but even he is not immune to the "oh I have a crush oh no what if my crush finds out I'm crushing on them" phenomenon so many people end up going through. He'd be a little bit nervous, and much as he asks Jamil for help, he isn't really reassured. He knows Ortho is very close to Idia, and he knows the brothers are very smart. If anything, I think for a short period of time he would start trying to (politely) avoid interactions with Ortho.

Of course, Ortho would definitely pick up on this. I think he would feel more than a little saddened, and I definitely think he would corner Kalim one day and ask him why. That would break the silence, and Kalim would spill the beans. In my mind, Ortho would end up delighted, and Kalim would feel so relieved because he really enjoys Ortho's presence. I think from that point forward, Kalim and Ortho would start to bond a lot more. Ortho starts helping Kalim woo Idia, because let's be honest, he knows Idia best. I think Kalim would take to treating Ortho much like a younger brother at that point, and Ortho would be thrilled to have someone like Kalim in his life.

For how Idia handles Kalim's siblings:

Oh boy. Ohhhhhhh boy. Have you ever seen a bunch of excited and eager kiddos find a shy cat at a birthday party?

At first, Idia is definitely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of siblings Kalim has. And they're all younger. They're eager to meet him and probably shouting and calling for his attention, maybe even physically coming up and tugging on his arms or clinging to him.

I think it would take several visits before he even comes close to being able to talk with any of them.

But here's the thing: as shy as he is, we also know Idia tries his best to be a good big brother to Ortho, and he has a bit of an ego. All it takes is for one of the kids to proudly show him their video games and beg him to play. Immediately, among the kiddos, he is Kalim's Super Cool Boyfriend who really rocks at video games. And, while I think that would really make Idia feel proud of himself, I think it would also trigger his older brother instincts and make him want to be around the kiddos more.

We know from his interactions with Muscle Red online that he can be a mentor figure in video games when he wants to. I think suddenly Idia is the go-to for the kids when they have a new game, beat their own high scores, or are stuck on a really hard level and need pointers. And Idia is all-too-happy to be involved like this. He's praising them and giving them pointers, and I think he'd be gentler with them than he is with his own peers, because I think he would feel toward them as if they are Ortho.

He becomes more and more confident around the siblings, and they really idolize him. At times, it seems they want him around more than they want Kalim. Kalim definitely pouts over this, especially because he just wants time with his boyfriend but his younger siblings stole Idia the moment he walked through the door. Worry not, Kalim, Idia is still an introvert. He will need time to recharge...and you know what that means! Cuddles with the boyfriend!!!!

You and Bam have been best friends for as long as either of you can remember. It started when you moved next door to him in West Chester. One day you invited Bam and Ryan to hang out at your place and just watch tv and do whatever. Neither of them knew that you had a crush on Bam though. You were sitting in your bed in your blanket when Bam and Ryan showed up. “Hey loser” Bam said when he walked into your room. “Shut up Margera” you said with a laugh. Him and Dunn sat on the couch that you had in your room. You guys sat in there watching Jackass on tv while you chatted about the stupid shit Bam and Ryan were doing. Bam noticed that you were hoping something in your arms. “Y/N what are you holding?””Nothing” you shyly replied. “Seriously dude what is it” he asked again as he was getting up. “Nothing I’m being serious!” He was standing by your bed and ripped off your blanket to reveal a teddy bear in your arms. “Is that the teddy bear I got you when we were seven?” He asked confused. “Yeah I always keep it in my bed.”He was shocked but also flattered that you had kept it all these years. He went and sat back down and you three watched tv some more. Every time Bam was on the tv though,you were either blushing or had a small smile. You always knew he would and it finally happened. “Ok listen I’ve had a crush on Bam since as long as I could remember and I truly think that he’s perfect and I tried to hide it as long as possible so no one would find out but I just couldn’t this time. I love him more than anyone on this whole damn planet but I just know that he doesn’t feel the same way and just wants to be friends so just don’t tell him. Please Ry I’m begging you to take this to the grave.” You say with tears in your eyes It felt so good to finally tell somebody your feelings. It was like a weight that was lifted off your shoulders. You’ve kept that a secret almost your whole life and you finally let it out. “Wow y/n you really feel that way about me?” You hear a familiar voice say as you quickly turn your head to the door.“Bam I can explain” you say while you start sobbing. He starts walking over to you and sits down in you’re bed next to you. He grabs your hand and interlocks your fingers with his. “You don’t have to explain anything y/n. I love you too” he says “Really?” You say as he wipes tears from your eyes. “Does this answer your question” he says as he kisses you. You’ve wanted this since you were little. He was your first love and you could tell by the way he kissed you, you were his too. He pulls away and you say “That’s a good answer but I think I need another one” you pull him back in for another kiss but this time it was much more intimate,more passionate. “Get a room you two!” Ryan exclaimed grossed out. “We have one asshole get the hell out” Bam yelled at his best friend.“I love you” you said to Bam as Dunn left. “Love you too Princess” he said with the nickname you’ve had since you two met.

fave characters: i have a lot of characters that i love but my most favorites are kazuha, hu tao, xingqiu, chongyun, albedo, benny, ayaka, yoimiya aaand tighnari. there are a lot more that i like but if i had to select just some those would be it i think!

fave 4 star: def one of the three i mentioned before! either benny, xingqiu or chongyun, but its so hard to choose just one.... mmm i think im gonna say benny bc hes very dear to me and has been accompanying me since my very first days playing the game, he has never left my team and i dont know what i would have done without him (i do know, i would have died countless times for sure)

5 stars i have: ive been playing the game for like a year and a half so even being f2p im lucky that i finally have most of my faves! i have kazuha, ayaka, hu tao, albedo, kokomi, yoimiya, xiao, nahida and eula. and from the standard banner, can you believe i only have keqing and mona after that much time playing?? well thats bc i have keqing c1 and.... mona c4. apart from the first 50/50 that i lost, which was with keqing, ive lost ALL the rest with mona and at this rate im sure im gonna get her c6 :'))) hyv stop giving me monas and give one tighnari pls PLS

accidental pulls: i DID have one accidental pull very similar to your case with itto and it was with eula. it was right when i was starting playing genshin and she was actually my very first 5 star. i only did one (1) ten pull on her banner bc xingqiu was there too and i wanted him so bad, but instead i ended up with no xingqiu and one eula that came home at pity 15 and winning 50/50, the luckiest ive ever been and for what... (and the saddest thing is i also didnt get xingqiu until months later sighhh). okay actually it wasnt that bad back then bc i didnt have any more 5 stars at the time so i used her as my main dps until i got ayaka, but now i dont play with her anymore

5 stars i want: since i got kazuha, who i really really wanted and saved for him for more than a whole year bc i lost 50/50 on him the first time (and the second time too... but i was prepared and could get him regardless), now i dont have any other character that i very desperately want as it was with him. and its bc ive been lucky that ive been able to get the rest of my faves too! i mean sure, i do want MORE characters, the ones that id like to get are tighnari, scaramouche (hyv im begging let me win 50/50 this time), nilou, cyno and venti, but i dont have that level of obsession i had with kazuha alsjfdk but yeah when their banners come (back) ill def be pulling for them!

fave teams: and my fave teams!!! im not a meta player and i know there are probably better combinations than the ones i use but idc and im very happy with my teams. so im gonna put the names i have for each team and its members!

permafrost brrrr: kazuha, chongyun, kokomi, ayaka. i loveeee fighting and freezing all the enemies along the way, so this is one is probably my favorite from all these teams. before getting kazuha i used it with xingqiu (hence the name of the team, tho it still works) and i miss a bit playing with xingqiu and chongyun together in the same team but kazuha makes this team even more fun and i like a lot how these 4 work together!

pants on fire!: xingqiu, albedo, hu tao, benny. my team for hu tao! ive been using this one since i got albedo and hu tao last year and ive never thought of changing it ever since, im very attached to it

short kings: kazuha, albedo, xiao, benny. my team for xiao and yes i wanted a team where i could put all my bois together and this one was perfect. a friend that is very invested in meta told me that kazuha wasnt useful at all here but idc bc just playing with them together makes me very happy

papayas quemadas: xingqiu, nahida, kokomi, yoimiya. this team i created it very recently! i was struggling a bit to find the best team for yoimiya and when i got nahida i tried this one and its very fun im liking it a lot! (ajdflsk abt the name of the team it means burnt papayas in spanish, bc the flowers (?) you make with hydro and dendro i call them papayas and then with yoimiyas pyro they become burnt, so yeah :))

queens: kokomi, eula, fischl, beidou. this is a team i have meant for eula using electro and cryo to boost her phys dmg and kokomi too to create electrocharged. i tried it a bit and it was actually fun! but i still need to build the chars better and i dont like eula that much as a character, so i dont really use this one rn. but maybe one day ill finally build them properly and give it a try again!

this was a super long answer but anyway it was a lot of fun to write!!!

ABSOLUTELY MY FRIEND

This fucker. this absolute bastard man.

i have so much to say about him that would spoil the story but honestly i dont plan to make it a comic, its just my own silly fanclan ANYWAYS. heres a rundown of his story for u anon <3 tysm for asking abt him so i can ramble on abt my story

so he’s always been a jealous fucker and when his clanmate Sootstripe reveals she’s pregnant, hes furious. not because he liked her, but because he liked her mate, Lionclaw, and thought he was too good for her. to calm his jealousy and such, he has a fling with a kittypet named Bonnabelle, and soon brings a young Cricketkit into camp. nobodys questions him, as their clan has been raised on the belief that any cat is welcome, regardless of origin, and will not be questioned on it

a few moons pass and he’s given one of Sootstripes kits as an apprentice, Darkpaw. and to try and make this shorter, one day he snaps and kills Darkpaw. another apprentice, Creekpaw, witnesses it in a ravenpaw fashion, while hunting. Bumblenose notices her and forces her to be silent about it otherwise he would kill her the same. she, being stubborn as hell, tells her brother Badgerpaw, the medicine cat apprentice, who Bumblenose would assumedly never kill.

nd basically their story is finding some way of getting Bumblenose to be exiled but its proving extremely difficult as the leader, OrchidStar, and Bumblenose are very close, and she trusts him with her own lives

so shortly after Badgerpaw becomes Badgerwillow, he rounds up all the cats he trusts most. his sister Creekpaw, Darkpaws brother Slushpaw, and bumbles son, Cricketleap, and reveals to the other two the truth. Slushpaw immediately trusts the med cats words, while Cricketleap is shocked his father would ever do such a thing, but eventually comes to realize its all too true

so they confront him(minus cricket) aaand suddenly the whole camp is on fire. someone from another clan set their own camp on fire for reasons i might explain another time but it spreads to their clan at that time, so they all have to run and abandon it

while trying to escape, bumblenose, badgerwillow, and cricketleap get stuck in one area and the badger further confronts bumblenose. he attacks badgerwillow, saying he ‘had his reasons to kill darkpaw’, and is about to snap the medicine cats neck when hes thrown off by Cricketleap.(for reference, Bumble is average cat size and Cricketleap is a fucking behemoth. mainecoon size. bumble got launched.)

Cricket yells at his father about how horrible what he did was, begging him to explain why he did it, why did he kill his own clanmate? And at this point, Bumble doesn’t care now, thinking hes about to die and attacks his son, not wanting to go down pathetically. it leads to Bumble getting himself killed by the two, and they escape the flames, telling the clan that Bumblenose hit his head while trying to escape and died that way. hes mourned, but the clan soon comes to realize he is nowhere to be found in starclans realm.

*btw the reason creekpaw and slushpaw still have their apprentice names is due to OrchidStar. she refused to name them after they nearly died trying to fight an alligator all on their own. their reason was they wanted to try and speed their apprenticeship up, buuut they just got very banged up because of it.

Hi! I really enjoy all your halloween content and wanted to ask you a quick question. What're your thoughts on michael and laurie reaching out to each other at the end of halloween h20? Sorry if there's already a post about this, I've just been perusing for the past day :]

OOBHG HELLOOOOO + thank u 4 enjoying the content mwwah mwah..... aw h20 always gets me..... (stupid plot twist from resurrection aside,) i think it was a very cool moment that had a lot of narrative fun imbedded in it bc like. theres the obvious "maybe mike knows hes abt to die for real this time and his only hope is scamming his way out of it, and if laurie had touched him he woulda grabbed her jumpscare etc", but also maybe he knows hes abt to die for real this time and he just wants to reach out for closure, and this was his last chance at just saying hey. im some guy. kill me if you want, im still some guy. and on laurie's part im sure this was devastating, bc shes spent her whole life guarding against a brother who she only knows to be inhuman and unfeeling and mechanical, and all of a sudden hes reaching out in a very pathetic, desperate, human gesture.... and so she has the same thot process as above, of course: is this him trying to worm his way out of decapitation or is it a cry for help or is it just a goodbye? does he know ive won? did i win? is this his way of saying no one can win?

like obv every other instance of mike we've seen hes very straightforward and to-the-point abt things... if he is threatened he doesnt have a tendency to play dead and he certainly will not beg. i personally firmly dont believe that mikael reaching out was for sympathy- it was just for one last moment to disturb his sister and look her in the eyes. and maybe laurie knows this and is like ah. this is his last ditch attempt, and in her reaching out, shes acknowledging that she sees his effort - that she knows he is human. at the same time, though, she pulls back before he can really reach her; shes still that babysitter from two decades ago and she knows what kind of movie she's in and she knows better, she knows that she can acknowledge his humanity without forgiving his crimes. still. she was the one who called his name out until he looked at her. she was the one to plan for, wait for, demand closure. and now hes reaching out and she has to confront what this means. its a very final gesture that takes them both out of their established arcs - mikael the relentless is ceding, laurie the paranoid is dropping guard if just for a moment. its a nice way to end a movie that focuses so primarily on these two traits of theirs, turning things on their head, and its also just a nice obligatory "have a quiet moment" scene. look at each other for a minute without chasing or being chased.

basically i think it was a scene that everyone had sort of been waiting for, and that was well situated for the film/film type as a "__ years later revenge" movie; you couldnt have done it with the first movie, it would have undermined mike's ruthlessness, but now twenty years have passed and he's not in control anymore, and the moment before he fucking beefs it hes taking the chance to reach out and say. im not struggling. i have more pride than that. i just want to keep you up at night wondering if there was a way you could have helped me. lol...

honestly 'friend' can mean MANY things for magpie, so id say he uses the word extremely liberally. actual friends are his friends, but also people he sleeps with on the reg are his friends, and also that inanimate object over there is his friend. hes just very friendly. when hes not thinking abt murder id like 2 think his brain is like those old posters from elementary school where everyone is holding hands across the entire world. everyone and everything would be his friend if he had it his way

4. What’s a hobby they used to have that they miss?

hmhmhm... hes mostly kept up with his hobbies, but i suppose he hasnt practiced with ALL the instruments he learned in the past. he mostly just plays piano these days, so i can see him maybe missing violin and flute a lil :]

6. What’s their favorite [insert anything] that they’ve never recommended to anyone before?

bold of u to assume magpie keeps any of his interests to himself. hes extremely keen on sharing anything and everything. you WILL be recommended his favorites

just like the friend question, he uses 'i love you' very liberally as well. but it almost ALWAYS means a lot <3 just cause he says it often doesnt mean its not meaningful

he's got a plethora of corvid facts to share with people, but he especially likes talking about how smart and talented they are. some of the facts he brings up are that they can recognize themselves in the mirror, know people by their faces, and can even mimic speech!

he doesnt have a lot of hate in his heart, but the things he does hate tend to be kinda all-encompassing. if he doesn't like your work, he probably wont like you, and if he doesnt like you, he probably wont like your work. theres probably exceptions, but i couldnt give you an example sdfhjdfs

22. What simple activity that most people do / can do scares your character?

hes not scared of much honestly! but theres a lot of things that most people do that he just straight up sucks at, like cooking, cleaning, and driving. frankly, it would be better if he WAS scared of doing these things bc he's nearly burned down lekthi's hive because of how eager he was to try and cook for the guy. someone give this guy a healthy amount of caution please

he absolutely took a cookie from the cookie jar. a snickerdoodle one <3

that depends on whether the job was for him or for fansia. if it was for him, it would just roll off his back no problem. if it was for fansia, he would beg and cry and plead to be let back in so he doesnt need to face her U_U

what he says and what he actually wants tends to align pretty well! he just wants to feel free and have fun with his life. he's absolutely desperate to do things that feel good, even if it inconveniences or even hurts others, and he'll say just as much if asked. his motives arent a secret at all

30. When they make a mistake and feel bad, does the guilt differ when it’s personal versus when it’s professional?

he mainly only feels guilt when it comes to personal relationships. for example, when he messes up in his professional life, he'd only feel guilty about it because it impacts his relationship with fansia, not because it impacts his job

32. If they committed one petty crime / misdemeanor, what would it be? Why?

this man commits SEVERAL misdemeanors and also serious crimes every single day, he wouldnt just be committing one, he'd be going down the fuckin catalog like its a to-do list. as for why, why not?

with a tight hug and maybe even a kiss on the cheek <3

well, HE doesnt keep people in his life for professional gain, but fansia sure pushes people into his life for professional gain. theres a lot of names he needs to remember when he's dragged to the fancy parties and get-togethers he hates

mmmm... none? he's a performer at heart, and hes not shy at all. he'll sing, dance, play music, and even strip in front of a HUGE crowd, and there will be no impact on the quality of his performance. that stuff just doesnt faze him

frankly im not sure what this means. if its straight up just literal handshake strength, i really dont think he really cares about the firmness of someone's grip gfdhsjfd

oh i feel like he'd probably talk about authenticity and honesty in life, relationships, and art. he has a lot to say regarding how unhappy dishonest people tend to be, and how much brighter life is when you approach it with utmost sincerity

he's already a polyglot, so its hard to say! once you learn a few languages, others just come a little more naturally, since you start noticing similar patterns and such. but i think german or french would probably be his next choices to learn, if only because there's quite a few operas in those languages, so he already has some exposure

both? he likes striking a healthy balance of the two. he loves listening to other people talk about things theyre passionate about, but he ALSO has a lot of passion and often wants to ramble about his own interests

48. Who would they say ‘yes’ to if invited to do something they abhorred / strongly didn’t want to do?

its extremely rare for him to say yes to things he doesnt want to do. even his close friends would have trouble dragging him somewhere he doesnt want to go. but fansia says jump and he asks how high U_U she doesn't even need to argue with him. it's always "yes ma'am" when it comes to mother dearest

50. What belief / moral / personality trait do they stand by that you (mun) personally don’t agree with?

funnily enough, i agree with a lot of magpie's beliefs, he just tends to take them WAY too far. hes a good guy at heart, he just thinks murder is a fun cool way to spend his weekend, and idk, call me a buzzkill but i just dont think i could brutally murder someone and then sit back down to finish my tea like ooh so scrummy <3 i love post-murder sippies

its funny though, magpie was created with my therapist as like... a little bit of a role model??? NOT the murder part of course, but rather the fact that he acts without considering other people's feelings, which is something i always wished i could do

i used to agonize over making everyone happy at my own expense, and i suppose i still do that, albeit to a lesser extent, but magpie legitimately did help me realize that it was okay to inconvenience the people around me. you cant pour from an empty vessel, you feel? sometimes you need to be unavailable to your friends, or say no when something feels bad, or back out if ur not enjoying urself, etc.

magpie helped me understand that. he helped me practice it in a safe way. theres a reason why he means so much to me dsfhjfjsdfds

52. Do they act on their immediate emotions, or do they wait for the facts before acting?

oh my god. emotions. 100%. hes an act first, think later kinda guy

54. What’s their instinct in a fight / flight / freeze / fawn situation?

funnily, despite the fact that he tends to only look out for himself and his own needs, he tends to fawn. when it comes to dealing with fansia, the easiest way to placate her is to be extremely obedient and agreeable and to never argue, so its a bit of a learned response. he can avoid trouble the most if he just does what she wants and avoids conflict

kinda explains why hes so desperate to feel free and act without thinking about anyone else otherwise

56. If they’re scared, who do they want comfort from? Does this answer change depending on the type of fear?

it used to just be lupo, but now he also goes to lekthi when hes scared or upset. he feels comfortable being vulnerable around them. he might also go to his other friends, and potentially even noboru if he's really desperate, but his first choices would absolutely be either lupo or lekthi, or both of them

though, in rare situations, he might actually go to fansia for comfort

58. How many hobbies have they attempted to have over their lifetime? Is there a common theme?

god, magpie is a real renaissance man. hes tried out SO many different hobbies, too many to count, and he still tries out new things all the time. he thinks variety is the spice of life, and he really does love learning new skills, even if he doesnt always end up sticking with them. a lot of the hobbies he's tried out are pretty artsy, but he'll honestly give anything a shot
