Eddie and Richie are two of the most oblivious people I’ve ever seen. How do the other Losers deal with it every day? 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Excuse you. I resent that. I’m not oblivious. I’m a coward. There’s a difference.

Okay but CONSIDER!!!!!! Comedian!Eddie
OKAY ANON! YOU GOT ME GOOD WITH THIS ONE CAUSE I LOVE THE IDEA! This one really got long so umm…yeah sorry! lol
Eddie watched as that familiar tall gangly form made its way onto the dimly lit center of the stage, roars of applause sounding when the lights came up. There he was, in his loud Hawaiian shirt and black jeans that were a hair too tight and those gross ratty converse he always wore on stage.
Richard ‘just call me Richie’ Tozier.
He watched as Richie did his opening joke, that large cheese-ball grin on his face when the crowd roared with laughter at the line about being in New York and their horseback police who have brought Amish crime down so well.
He had met Tozier eight years back, on one of Eddie’s tours when he was in L.A, he had just finished his show ‘Short Person Complex: Fuck you!’ and was signing autographs and ticket stubs when a giant walked up to him. Eddie remembered his first thought had been ‘holy shit those glasses are thick’ and then ‘this man has a terrifyingly large mouth’ when the giant smiled at him widely.
“Holy shit. Ed Kasp.” The giant gushed, people beside him just barely restraining themselves from trying to push this guy out of the way because he was taking too long. “You are seriously one of my favorite comedians ever.”
“Thank you.” Eddie had smiled, looking around to see if the man wanted anything signed. “Did you want something signed?”
Eddie had made it sound polite, not wanting to brush off a fan but people were getting agitated with this guy. But the man just continued on like Eddie hadn’t asked him anything and that people weren’t starting to grumble.
“I mean, normally the ranting comedy isn’t my thing, but you really know how to make your anger into something that is just so amazing and funny.”
Eddie nodded slowly, trying so hard to cue to this guy with his eyes that it was time to move along if he didn’t want anything signed. “Thank you, now I think-“
“God and you’re just so damn hot.”
The tall man had been pushed along by the crowd and Eddie went back to pictures, autographs and shaking hands, but the image of those thick glasses with that smile stuck in his head. The words the man said made a small smile come to his face because normally people were too scared to approach Eddie because in his shows he was always ranting and raving so they thought that he was always like that. Either that or they wanted something from him and put up with him for it. It felt good to know that someone out there thought he was good looking even when he was stomping around on stage like a rabid lemur monkey and didn’t ask for anything. It was a nice memory to keep, Eddie’s tour ended and life moved on.
Until a year later when his manager introduced him to his newest tour’s opening act.
Eddie could have sworn the giant grew since the last time he had seen him, dressed in ratty jeans and a bright orange T-shirt with a twerking cow on it that read ‘My Milkshake Brings All The Boys To The Yard’. That wide mouth grinned, perfect teeth with the silver of a retainer across the top row, and suddenly they were shaking hands.
“Eddie, meet Richie Tozier.”
He hated the man.
Richie Tozier was rude, loud, crass and obnoxious, he left his dirty clothes all over the tour bus and several times Eddie’s not so fake anger came out. They fought constantly, where to eat, the mess, music, how many pills Eddie took, etcetera. Etcetera. Etcetera.
Luckily they were on their last show in Chicago and thank God because Eddie’s jaw hurt from all the teeth grinding he’d been doing everytime Richie opened that fucking mouth. Eddie waved to the crowd as he walked off stage, the heavy velvet curtains of the Chicago Theater coming down to muffle the sound of applause as he wiped at his face with his handkerchief.
“Jesus the lights were warm.” Eddie muttered as he loosened the tie around his neck and pushed into his dressing room and stopped dead when he noticed someone else was in his room. “What the fuck?”
There stood Richie, dripping wet and in nothing but a towel, looking at Eddie in shock like he wasn’t the one being caught naked in someone else’s dressing room. “Eddie…did you end early? I thought I had a little more time.”
Eddie sputtered for a minute, rage and shock making his thoughts run a million miles faster than his mouth and it didn’t help that Richie’s stupid ass wide shoulders and chest were right on display. It must have been obvious he was on the verge of exploding because then Richie held up his hands in a defensive motion, his blue eyes cleared without those thick glasses on.
“Look, I’m sorry.” Richie started slowly, backing up a little and Eddie noticed the towel start to slip. Why the fuck were bony ass hipbones attractive to him right now? “I needed to shower after the opening and your dressing room was the only one who had one.”
“You should have gone back to the hotel then!” Eddie frowned at the guilty look that crossed Richie’s face. Good! This guy, acting like everyone else’s stuff was his own, it drove Eddie insane.
“Yeah,” Richie started slowly, looking down at the floor. “But then I would have missed your whole show. This way I only missed the last fifteen minutes.”
Eddie blinked. “What? Why would you-? You’ve seen it twelve times already.”
Richie blinked, turning to look up at Eddie again with a confused look that probably matched Eddie’s own. “So?”
“So? So why does it matter to see this one?”
Richie’s gaze quickly moved to the side, avoiding eye contact as his cheeks started to grow an alarming shade of red. “Jesus, you’re dumb.”
Anger spiked again. “Excuse me?”
Richie gave a halfhearted shrug and rolled his eyes, but even though his actions were flippant Eddie could see fear in his eyes. “If you can’t tell that I’ve been in love with you for years then I’m sorry. You’re a certified idiot.”
The knock at his intelligence flew right over his head because the love confession by the almost naked man in front of him consumed his mind. Love? Richie loved him? How? All they did was fight and bicker. Was this a joke? One of Richie Toziers dumb ass jokes that he thought would be hilarious?
“Is this a joke?” Eddie asked, his breath hitching a little as an embarrassed panic settled over him, the idea of his sexuality being the butt of a joke again causing his back and palms start to sweat. “Cause it’s not fucking funny in the slightest.”
“Wha-? No! Why would I joke about that?”
Eddie threw up his hands because he didn’t really have an answer to that. Richie was very vocal about his bisexuality, the confidence something Eddie didn’t have about his own sexuality until he was at least twenty-four.
“People have before!” It was the best he could come up with and he had to look away from the sadness he saw in the other’s eyes because he couldn’t handle that right now. “People can be awful and two faced and we’ve done nothing but get under each other’s skin so excuse me if I’m a little surprised.”
It was quiet, the only sound being Eddie’s heavy breathing, his head starting to feel light with how many emotions he was trying to keep inside. When Richie spoke again Eddie’s attention snapped to him, Richie’s wet hair starting to curl now that it was starting to dry and Eddie had an insane thought of pulling on one of the ringlets.
“It’s not a joke.” Richie started slowly. “And damn I wish I had my glasses cause right now you’re just  a faceless blob, but I’m not joking. I just-you fought me first.”
Eddie blinked. The nerve of this fucking dipshit. “Are you serious?”
“You yelled at me because of my clothes.”
Eddie was about to explode, with what emotion he wasn’t sure which was strange. “They were all over the bus!”
Richie had the decency to look slightly ashamed. “Yeah, well-“
“Yeah, well-“ Eddie mimicked, pitching his voice lowers like Richie’s but adding more of an idiot tone. He frowned crossing his arms as he stared at the man, daring Richie to try to excuse how much of a mess he was. The tension was thick and honestly Eddie was glad this was the last show because if this went south, which it probably was going to, then he wouldn’t ever have to see Richie Tozier again.
Then Richie’s towel slipped completely.
Both of them stood there deathly silent, Eddie trying his best not to glance down while Richie made a face as if accepting that this was how he was probably going to be murdered. Eddie cracked first,it started out as a choked wheeze, his body barely able to contain the full on belly laugh that came after it and Eddie bent over and gasped for breath as he continued to laugh so hard tears came to his eyes.
“Yeah.” Richie muttered. “I confess to a guy, show him my dick and he laughs. That’s about right.”
Eddie started laughing harder and he was honestly about to choke on his own spit if Richie said anything else. Soon Richie started to laugh as well, not even bothering to pick the towel back up as he grabbed his pants and started hopping into them rather ungracefully.
“You look like a literal noodle man.” Eddie whispered, his voice shot from laughing so hard. “Oh my god! How are you all limbs?”
“I’m real good at reaching for things up high. That’s my like top talent there. Number one on my dating profile.”
Laughter bubbled up from Eddie’s throat again and he had to go sit down on the couch because his abs hurt. “You’re ridiculous.”
The smile that Richie gave him made his heartbeat speed up a bit as he smiled back.
That had been five years ago, four dating anniversaries ago, moving into two new apartments and one house near the beach in San Diego ago and now Eddie sat in the crowd and watched his boyfriend act. It had been the twenty-seventh time he’d heard it, they both used each other as sounding boards for their newest material, and Eddie thought it was one of Richie’s best.
But it threw him when near the end, Richie segwayed into a completely different topic than he was supposed to.
“So did you hear about Ben Hanscome and Beverly Marsh finally tying the knot?” The crowd whooped loudly and Richie chuckled. “Man, it was great. Yeah, you heard right. I was there. I got invited because I’m special.”
The crowd laughed at the bratty cheerleader voice he’d used at the word special and Eddie watched in confusion as Richie laughed at himself and shook his head.
“But man it was great. They were so into each other that anyone would look at it and be like ‘Damn I want that.’ Ya know, along with the million dollars they have, their banging bods and that awesome leg garter Ben was wearing all night.” More laughs and Eddie was starting to get nervous about what this was. Richie now a days only improvised when something had gone wrong with his act, but he had pulled off almost the whole thing without a hitch so Eddie didn’t know what was happening. “It made me think about if I want that. Like, get to see my little Napoleon dressed in his finest.”
Oh.
Oh shit.
“So, I think I’m going to try and make it a thing.” The world went silent as Richie pulled something from his pocket and moved to kneel down on his knee. “Spaghetti, what do you say? Wanna try matrimony with me?”
Richie was looking right at him, the whole crowd was looking for him and Eddie had no idea how to react. So, he did the only thing he knew to do, he stood up and cupped his hands around his mouth so the whole theater could hear him.
“You’re a fucking idiot!” He yelled loudly. “During a show? Really?”
The crowd starting muttering in worry, but Richie kept that dumb beautiful smile on his face and Eddie grinned.
“But yes! Obviously I’ll marry you, dick head!”

please can you do reddie #9, #14 and #15
Hey @and-thats-when-she-snapped! Aw, thanks for the ask :D
The Reddie boys:
9) Who swears more - Oh, fuck. That’s a tough one lol. They both swear like sailors on their sixth beer most of the time. But what really differentiates them, is how they swear. And why.
So Richie, he’s a stand-up comedian so like, of course he curses. Like, probably more than the regular person. It adds to the ambiance of a story, you know? The audience comes to expect it - he’s TRASHMOUTH. So, naturally, he’s gonna spew some garbage from his face hole.
But in every day, he’s one of those casual ‘fuck’, ‘shit’, ‘dick’ type of guys. It’s littered throughout most sentences, but…makes sense in the context of whatever the fuck he’s talking about at any given time. The most colourful he gets is when Mr Small-Hands-Orange-Face is on TV.
Eddie, though. Oh, Eddie. Edward Kaspbrak is one of those cursers that it’s basically a spew of word vomit. He gets frustrated about something, gets nice and riled up and it’s just a litany of curses tumbling from his mouth like a sweary waterfall. ‘WHAT THE FUCK YOU DUMB SHIT-ASS IDIOT?! DIDN’T YOU SEE THE STOP SIGN, ASSHOLE? DIDN’T THEY TEACH YOU THAT IN DICKWAD SCHOOL YOU SCALY FUCKNUGGET! GET YOUR EYES TESTED YOU BITCHASS CHOAD!’
Basically, they both curse way more than the average person. But Eddie…he’s a smidge more colourful. And Richie loves it.
14) What nicknames they call each other - Richie is the self-proclaimed King of nicknames. While Eddie shines with imaginative curses, Richie makes up for in all his little terms of endearment - some cuter than others. At any given time, he has a list:
Eds. Eduardo. Eddie Spaghetti. Spagheds. Edsie. Kasp. Kaspy. Brak-Attack. Eddie Beddie. Edward Skillet-Hands.
Then there are the just plain ridiculous ones that he pulls out on special occasions: Sugar Butt, Baby Cakes, Boo Bear, Sweat Heart (not sweetheart), Snuggle-Bug - basically, the more obnoxious the better. It drives Eddie up the wall and that’s half the point, really.
Eddie is a lot more practical - he sticks to Richie, Rich, Tozier and when he’s pissed - Richard. He remembers calling Richie ‘Chee’ when they were kids. He has pulled that out a few times since. You know, for nostalgia’s sake.
Mostly, he’s all about the loving insults. ‘Dickwad’, ‘jerkface’, ‘asshole’ are all favourites, usually said around a small smile fighting to break out on his face.
But occasionally, very, very seldom, when he’s in a certain mood, he’ll almost accidentally drop in something sweeter. An exasperated ‘babe’ here, a sarcastic ‘dear’ there but with always far too much fondness to be anything but loving.
15) What they would change about each other - nothing. No, but seriously, of course there are things they would change for the better. Richie would take away Eddie’s anxiety in a heartbeat. Eddie would abolish Richie’s low self-esteem in the blink of an eye. But, as for fundamentally changing each other - they wouldn’t do anything deliberately. But they are still changing one another for the better.
Richie helps Eddie with his anxiety, his germaphobia, his PTSD. Eddie helps Richie with accepting himself, with his PTSD and his nightmares.
Living together, sharing their lives, being in each other’s orbits are changing each of them. Richie is getting used to sharing his space with someone, Eddie is learning to take charge and make his own decisions, even those affecting both of them. Richie is becoming more considerate, taking another’s thoughts and feelings into account in what he says and does and Eddie is becoming more expressive, more communicative in how he feels.
They fight, they make up. They come up against a problem and work through it.They both talk more. Share more. Feel more than ever before.
Laugh more.
And love most.

Richie turned around in his desk seat when his roommate, Stanley, came barging in. Now, Richie had been sharing a room with Stanley Uris for nearly a full three years and he wasn’t much of a barger. Admittedly, Richie was sure he’d gotten to become a bad influence on his friend over their time together- because Richie could be a good student and still have fun, thank you very much- but Richie was still able to recognize out of character behaviour in his best friend.
Stan moved quickly towards his bed, grabbing at the clothes he’d yet to unpack from his trip back home for Passover. He started tossing clothes over his shoulders in search of something, and Richie startled. “Whoa, buddy!” Richie cried, forcing a laugh. “Where’s the fire?”
Stan turned towards Richie and glared at his clothes. Richie had already settled in for the night, wearing nothing but a slightly larger band T-shirt and his boxers. His contact were out, glasses settled on his nose and hair pulled up into a messy bun on top of his head.
Stan let out a disgusted noise. “Get dressed,” Stan said, shaking his head. “We’re going to a party.”
“What the fuck, it’s Wednesday!” Richie cried, tossing his hands up into the air. “Who the fuck throws a party on a Wednesday? This isn’t fucking Frosh week anymore.”
Stan started jumping into what Richie had loving dubbed his “My girlfriend pegs me” jeans, and rolled his eyes. “Mike’s fraternity is having a party, and he invited us. All of us. So we’re going.”
Richie groaned. He liked Mike Hanlon, he really did, but ever since his best friend had started growing close to farmer boy-turned- frat boy, Richie had found himself being forced into a lot more social interactions then he cared for. “That frat boy has the hots for you.”
Stan’s cheeks flushed and he flipped Richie off. “I have a girlfriend, in case you’d forgotten.”
Richie rolled his eyes. “Just because you have a girlfriend, doesn’t mean that somebody else can’t think you’re a hot piece of ass.”
Stan chucked the first pair of Richie’s jeans he could find on the floor towards him. Richie squawked as it hit him in the face, then fell into his lap. “Shut up about Mike like that. We’re just friends!”
“So, you’re going to introduce him to Patty then?” Richie challenge, looking around for a shirt to shrug on. He settled on his simple grey UCLA sweater, over top of his acid wash skinny jeans that were ripped from wear rather than style. He paused, debating for a moment doing something with his hair and putting in his contacts, but ended up shrugging it off.
Stan was glaring at him. “Why are you saying that as though I’ve purposely been keeping them apart? Their paths just haven’t crossed yet, it isn’t anything serious. But yes, Patty is coming tonight. So you can let go of this weird idea you’ve thought up that Mike likes me.”
Richie rolled his eyes. “Alright, whatever. Let’s go.”
Stan frowned at Richie, looking him up and down. “You’re actually wearing that? Richie, put in an effort.”
Richie scowled. “Why? You’re one going out to a party on a date with your girlfriend and the hot frat dude who wants to fuck you, not me.”
Stan grabbed hold of the hem of Richie’s sweater and tugged on it. “You could use to be laid! You haven’t been serious with anybody since Sandy back in freshman year- and this is your longest dry spell in ages. Mike and I were talking today and-”
“You and Mike were talking about my sex life?” Richie squawked, yanking away from Mike and tugging his sweater back into place. “What the kind of fuck-”
“We were talking about your lack of sex life!” Stan replied. “Richie you used to be kind of a slut-” Richie made an offended noise but Stan barrelled on over him. “And that was an issue, but now you’re sort of the opposite side of that. You gotta find a good medium, Rich, and there’s gonna be tons of chicks and... frat dudes-”
“And you’re telling me that the frat dudes won’t be wearing UCLA sweaters?” Richie challenged, crossing his arms over his chest. Stan’s mouth dropped open and he raised his brows, but he merely stared at Richie gap mouthed. “That’s what I thought. Let’s go.”
Eddie Kaspbrak dodged the fourth overly-muscled guy of the night, taking the solo cup he offered him and swerving away. He moved towards the sink in the kitchen and dumped the cup down the drain. His best friend and fellow frat brother grinned at him, reaching out to adjust the hat backwards on Eddie’s head. “Dodging all the m-m-en is starting to make you look m-m-messy.”
Eddie rolled his eyes. “I need to start bringing a bat to these things. Can’t get them away.“
Bill chuckled, handing Eddie a drink he could actually trust. “It’s because you’re the hottest gay on campus. They can’t h-uhh-help it if you’re out of their league. Aim high. That’s my motto.”
“Don’t I know it,” Eddie said with an eye roll. Bill Denbrough had the highest kill count of anybody in their fraternity, but he no doubt that the highest count of strike outs as well. Denbrough had never shied away from a challenge, and Eddie had been by his side through countless successes and failures. Sometimes so many successes that Eddie was a little disgusted, and so many failures he couldn’t help but laugh. You could only be so supportive of bro. z
“Looks like Mike brought his little nerd boy tonight,” Bill said, leaning back on his elbows against counter in front of the sink. Eddie followed Bill’s gaze towards the front door of their frat house, watching Mike Hanlon ducking into the doorway with prim looking dark haired boy and another two friends, one female, one male. “How long do you think it’ll be b-be-before he gets some of that?”
“Mike Hanlon?” Eddie asked, sighing a little wistfully. He shook his head, smilingly fondly. “Personally I’m surprised he hasn’t locked in already. Not like people to take the long road when getting some of him.”
Bill suddenly let out a low whistle. “Might have something to do with that.”
Eddie looked back over, wincing at the sight of Mike’s crush- Stanley?- with his hand suddenly entangled with the girl who’d come in with them. “Ah, fuck, a Straightie. Nothing worse than that.”
Bill let out an annoyed noise and sucker punched Eddie in the shoulder. Eddie burst out laughing and punched him back, the two of them socking each other in the chest and shoulders for several moments. Eddie turned slightly away from Bill, still laughing a little breathlessly, when the man who had come in with Mike and Stanley caught his eye.
His hair looked black from so far away, but Eddie supposed it must be brown, and it was piled up on top of his head in a messy bun. He had rimmed glasses sitting on his nose, with a pair of old looking jeans and a regular gray UCLA sweater on. He wore a bored expression, like he wanted to be anywhere else.
Eddie’s stomach flared up hot just at the sight of him. “Who’s that? The other guy?”
Bill looked over his shoulder, frowning. “The dude who looks like he just rolled out of bed? I don’t know, some scholarship nerd, I think. He was in my Intro to Psychology class last year, but I think he took it because he was actually interested. Weirdo... why?”
“I want him.” Eddie said, licking his lips before tossing back the rest of his drink.
Bill looked at him like he’d grown a second head. “What... him? Kaspbrak, look at him.”
Eddie smirked. “I am.” He skipped in place for a second and then quickly moved towards the other man.
Richie shifted awkwardly through the uncomfortable tension within his friends. The second Stan had made it apparent that he and Patty were in a relationship, Mike had seemed to grow quiet and disconnected. They’d been laughing and joking together one moment, and now Richie could see how Mike seemed to glancing around for a source to escape.
Stan was holding Patty’s hand awkwardly like protected him from the world and Patty was... well if Patty was openly drooling over Mike’s muscles then that wasn’t any of Richie’s business. Stan had told him so.
“Want to give us a tour, Mike?” Patty asked, twirling a strand of hair around her finger like Richie hadn’t seen her do since she and Stan were just starting out. Stan’s gaze followed the movement and frowned.
“Sure.” Mike said lightly, shrugging and gesturing further into the house. Patty dropped Stan’s hand and moved to quickly follow him. As Richie moved to go as well, Stan pressed a hand to Richie’s chest and pushed him back. He shook his head and mouthed “no” before taking off after Patty and Mike.
“What the fuck!” Richie cried, tossing his hands into the air.
“Hey, there.”
Just as Richie was getting ready to dwell on how his friends had abandoned him, yet again, a voice whispered into his ear. Richie spun around, fight or flight reflexes turned on, but his shackled quickly lowered when he took sight of the person behind him. Eddie Kaspbrak.
Richie didn’t know Eddie very well, not that he would want to. Even just looking at him now, he knew that Eddie Kaspbrak was exactly all the things that Richie had tried to tell Stanley that frat boys were. His brown hair flopped into his brown eyes, pressed down by some red snapback wore backwards, pair with a oversized red muscle shirt that showed off a ridiculous amount of sides and stomach and beige khaki jeans that looked glued to his legs. He was hot, and the smirk on his face showed that he knew it.
“Hi.” Richie said coldly.
Eddie leaned in closer, pressing against Richie’s side. “You know, I sort of run this shit. I’m in charge around here.” Eddie dragged his fingers down Richie’s bare arm, Richie trying to pretend that he didn’t get goosebumps. Eddie pressed completely against him to whisper in his ear. “That means I get my own room. The bed is a king sized. You wanna see it?”
Richie let out a bitter laugh. “You’re kidding, right? You’ve gotta do better than that.”
Eddie pulled back, blinking as the persona left his face completely.
“What?” Richie snickered, less bitter and much more amused this time. “Not used to being rejected?”
“Not really, no.” Eddie said slowly, shaking his head as though the last moments were imagined and he’d be able to knock them out.
Richie hummed. “Poor, poor, King Kaspbrak. Are you at risk of losing your crown?”
Eddie startled, looking Richie up and down quickly. “You know who I am?”
Richie gave him a disgusted look. “Don’t act all humble now, aren’t you the one who just waltzed up here talking about how you run this shit as though it’s some sort of achievement.”
“What’s your name?” Eddie asked, tucking his hands into his back pockets and nodded at Richie.
Richie checked Eddie out quickly then scoffed. “You want it?”
Eddie shrugged as though he couldn’t care less, but Richie saw how he flushed in the dim light of the house.
“Then earn it.”
Eddie let out a disgusted noise, scowling at Richie. “You’re not that hot, you know? Who shows up at a party wearing some school sweater?”
Richie scoffed. “You’re wearing the exact same sweater, dude.”
Eddie looked down at himself and flushed when he realized that, yes, he was wearing the same UCLA hoodie, right down to the style and colour. “Well! I’m a party of campus life, I have school spirit! What do you do?”
“Hurt the little fragile feelings of some Bambi-eyed frat boy, apparently.” Richie grinned cheekily down at Eddie, whose face flushed deeply. “There’s probably a hundred guys around here who would let you into their pants. Go find one of them.”
“Bold of you to assume there’s a hundred gay guys at this frat party.” Eddie said in a low voice.
“So go turn somebody,” Richie said with a waggle of his brow. “You’ve got gateway gay written all over you.”
“Gateway gay is so offensive, oh my God-” Eddie said, voice hitting up a pitch as though maybe it was supposed to sound like that. Richie jerked towards him, furrowing his brow while Eddie bit his bottom lip. “Whatever. Fuck you. No! I don’t want to fuck you.”
“You did 30 seconds ago.” Richie rolled his eyes. “And I think you still do.”
“Only because I think it’ll be hard for you to talk with your mouth stuffed full.” Eddie was standing at his full height, which was still about three inches shorter than Richie, and was openly glaring at him now. Richie couldn’t deny the burning that was starting in his gut, but from hatred or something else he wasn’t sure yet.
“Kaspbrak, that’s dirty.” Richie challenged with a wink. “Do you kiss your frat brothers goodnight with that mouth?”
Eddie pursed his lips, turning on his hip and storming off back towards the large groups of people. Richie laughed to himself, giving himself the chance to check Eddie Kaspbrak out as he walked away. He almost regretted turning him down- almost. It had just been too fun to resist.
Moving quickly through the crowd of drunken classmates, Richie finally laid eyes on Patty and sprinted towards her. Her face light up when she caught sight of him, though there was a delay between her smile and her eyes that implied she was more than a few drinks in. “Richie...” She cooed, reaching up and poking his cheeks with the tips of her fingers. “I love you! Where have you been?”
Richie chuckled. “Your boyfriend banished me so the two of you could ogle at Mike without be dragging you down.”
Patty’s eyes opened wide and leaned in close, despite only coming up to Richie’s shoulder at full height. “He’s like a God.”
Richie laughed, wrapping Patty up into a huge bear hug and swaying them around to the music. Patty let out a high pitched giggle into his chest, squeezing her arms around his waist.
“Stop stealing my love, Tozier!” Stan called through the crowd. Richie looked up to Stan and Mike coming towards them, walking a little too closely together, and Richie pressed Patty closer into his chest.
“Sorry, you can’t have her.” Richie sang, rocking softly on the spot with Patty. She giggled against his chest while kicking at his shins, and Stanley’s smile was all too fond to actually be annoyed.  “She’s had enough of you and we’re running away together.”
“Richie!” Patty laughed against his chest, pulling away just to turn to face Stan and Mike, while resting backwards against Richie and allowing his arms to stay around her.
Stan rolled his eyes, smiling, then his gaze seemed to settle on something over something over Richie’s shoulder. He frowned. “Tozier, why is Eddie Kaspbrak glaring at you like you said something real offensive about this mother?”
Richie glanced over his shoulder, finding Eddie in the crowd quickly. The second their eyes met, Eddie gave him the dirtiest of looks. Richie purposely licked at his bottom lip and he swore he could see Eddie inhale.
Turning back to his friends, Richie caught sight of the look on Mike’s face. “Oh my god, whatever you’re thinking of doing, don’t.”
Mike grinned, reaching out to grab Richie’s hand away from Patty and pulling him towards Eddie and his floppy haired frat brother. Patty and Stan followed quickly behind, Stan’s hand falling into Patty’s to keep her from stumbling and falling.
“Hey!” Mike called happily to his brothers, draping an arm around Richie’s shoulders and forcibly dragging Richie to stand in front of them. “Haaaave you met Richie?”
Oh fuck.
“Noo.....“ Richie groaned, squeezing his eyes shut. He didn’t want to see the look of victory on Eddie’s face, though he felt it all the same.
“Richie, huh?” Eddie asked, voice dripping with smugness. “So that’s your name?”
Richie opened one eye, frowning. “Yeah. Congrats somebody gave you the answer. It’s not the same as winning.”
Eddie smirked, shrugging one shoulder. “I kind of think it is. So..” He stepped closer to Richie, slowly dragging his eyes over his torso. “Since I know your name now, does that mean I get to make you scream mine?”
Richie made overly loud vomiting noises, watching the awkward expression settling over Eddie’s face as his frat brothers began to laugh behind them. “Get better fucking material.”
Richie turned away, biting back his own grin, and walked off. Patty broke out into a fit of giggles, needing Stan to wrap an arm around her to lead her away from the boys. Mike turned to Eddie, an apologetic look on his face but Bill couldn’t contain his laughter.
“Looks like Kuh-Kaspbrak fuh-finally met his muh-match!”
“I know where you sleep, Denbrough.”

Pictures of you- chapter one
Tumblr media
For proper spacing visit my ao3 chapter 2 is already up there!
Eddie climbed the stairs to his apartment with dread weighing heavy on his body, that and the water that soaked his clothes. It had been a long day of driving and dealing with passengers, all while trying to navigate New York City through the rain. Getting his limo app service off the ground proved to be great for business, but not so great for his sanity. On the way to pick to one of his ever so gracious customers, he’d been rear ended by some asshole going 50 in an area with a speed limit of 30. He couldn’t slow down fast enough for a red light and ended up hitting Eddie’s limo. Eddie had jolted forward, his chest hitting the steering wheel. His breathing became short and rapid as his heart raced, the signs of an oncoming Asthma attack. He reached for his inhaler in the glove compartment and pulled on the trigger with a shaking hand. He was so stunned for a minute or so, he couldn’t get out of the car. Until the man who had hit him came out of his car; shouting and banging on Eddie’s window, saying he should’ve seen him coming.
As ridiculous as that accusation was, the man was reasonable enough to exchange his information with Eddie. The incident hadn’t caused any lethal damage, but the bumper of the limo was now wonky and dented. It wasn’t too terrible, but appearance is very important in his business. Presentation is important in every aspect of life, his mother had often told him. Eddie had it hauled away to the nearest auto shop and opted to walk home in the rain rather than give his money to one of those big cooperate car apps. He was too prideful for that, if nothing else.
He scaled the final step, a little bit winded, and pushed the key into the door of his apartment. It’s not too small. The realtor had described it as, “Cozy for a couple.” But the shades of paint and furniture they’d picked out for the space made Eddie feel like he was being suffocated. He took in his surroundings with a small sigh. Despite its comfy couches and cabinets filled with his clothes and belongings, Eddie always had to make some what of a mental effort to establish it as his home. Slipping off his shoes and shaking his jacket off, he heard the faint sound of weeping coming from the living room. Softly, he tip toed over and ducked his head into the room,
“Myra?” He asked with caution. “Oh Eddie!” She jumped to her feet, voice screeching in it’s high pitch, “thank god!”
She wrapped herself around Eddie in a death grip that would rival that of cobra’s. His hands sat at his side stiffly before his better judgment kicked in and he moved them to rub circles on her back. She untangled herself from him after a moment, “Where were you and why weren’t you answering your phone?” Her was voice demanding and whiny, Eddie cringed at the sound.
“You know I can’t have your notifications on while I drive, sweetie. It’s bad for business.”
This only caused Myra to pout more, “You’re supposed to pull over to text me every hour Eddie! We talked about this!”
“Yes,” he mumbles, “but-“
“No, Eddie!” he didn’t think her voice could get any louder, “I could’ve had heart attack! I thought you might’ve died! And there was an emergency!”
Eddie’s heart stopped how the fuck does she know already? Oh Christ almighty, she’s not going to let you go anywhere now. Good fuckin goin, Kasp- “Eddie!” Myra ran back over to him again, wrapping a large arm around him, “I’m sorry baby, I didn’t mean to scare you! Where’s your inhaler?”
Eddie hadn’t even noticed that his breathing had become heavy while his brain was spiraling. She reached a hand into his pocket and fished out his inhaler, holding it to his lips. Eddie took a puff, as his fiancé continued rambling on. “I should’ve known not to use that word with you, I know how delicate you are. But it really was, something really bad happened.”
“Is that why you were crying?” Eddie asked, knowing his fiancé has the tendency for the dramatics. He can never gauge how serious the problem is just from her reaction. She nodded, “Oh Eddie, it’s so horrible! I could cry even more!”
“No!” His shouted a little too quickly, “No, just tell me what happened, Marty.” “I got a call from the photographer.”
“And?” Eddie could see that she’s starting to tear up again, but she blurts out the words before they can fall. “They pulled out of the wedding! They said they had something else booked that day. I don’t know how that’s even possible! We scheduled this months ago!” She exclaimed, hugging Eddie tightly again and crying into his shoulder. He let her sob for a while before attempting to reason with her, “I know. It’s okay, hey, it’s alright. We can get a new one, they are plenty in the city.”
“That’s no excuse! They should’ve had it together! And where are we going to find a photographer that will work on such short notice? Oh it’s all falling apart, Eddie! This is a disaster!” She shouted, too close to Eddie’s ear. “No! Hey,” he met her eyes, red and puffy from crying, “We’ll find one, I promise. We can go and look tomorrow.”
“Eddie! I have a dress fitting tomorrow!”
“Alright, Myra calm down. I will go and look tomorrow, I can’t drive the limo anyway.”
Shit.
“What’s wrong with the limo?”
“Oh just needs an oil change and some other tune ups you know. I gotta give the riders the best treatment, right?” He felt bad for lying, but he would feel worse telling her the truth. She worries. And he worries about what will happen to him if she worries any more than she already does.
She nodded into his shoulder.
“Okay, why don’t you go to bed and I’ll meet you there?”
“I love you, Eddie-bear,” she mumbled gently.
Eddie doesn’t think about his response, he learned not to long ago.
“I love you too, Marty.”
Myra releases him and walks over to their bedroom, shutting the door behind her.
Eddie sighs deeply once she is out of sight, running his hands over his eyes. He lets the oxygen reach his whole body before plopping down on the couch, defeatedly.
He just sits exhausted there for a while, before rising and walking to the bathroom to shower. He lets the warm water comfort him and lets it run maybe a bit too long as he stands underneath it.
He exits the shower and heads for the medicine cabinet. He finds the melatonin, (among a heap of other things) and pops a few into his mouth. The stress of planing a wedding had been taking its toll on his sleep. Ever since the night of the engagement, Eddie hadn’t gotten a full night of rest. Even in times of relative calm, restlessness plagued him as he tossed and turned in his bed. Tonight was no different.
He lets his eyes find his future wife taking up more than her side in bed, and crawls in warily beside her. He stared up at the ceiling a long while, thinking about everything and nothing.
He is woken up several times during the night, not to his surprise.
-
Eddie wakes up the next morning to find a note on the kitchen table, Off to the fitting! Only 62 more days! Love you! -Myra
That number sat heavy in his chest as he made himself coffee and opened his laptop to begin looking for a new photographer. The first page on google was companies with enough money to afford to put ads there. He figured they’d all be booked and when he calls, that suspicion is confirmed. One man even laughs into the phone obnoxiously when Eddie tells him the date of the wedding.
That’s how he spends majority of the morning, hunched over his laptop as concern pulls on the lines of his face. He nearly pulls all his hair out while on the phone with countless photography studios. All booked that day.
He’s on the fourth page of google, sporting a defeated expression when something finally takes. Richie Tozier Photography. There’s a number on the website header and Eddie calls without a second thought, not expecting much.
It rings twice before someone, groggy sounding, picks up. “Hello?” A scratchy voice asks. Eddie isn’t sure he’s got the right guy.
“Um Hi, I might have the wrong number is this Richie Tozier?”
“As you live and breathe,” the voice, Richie apparently, answered. Skeptical, he attempted to clarify, “The photographer?”
“Yeah huh,” He responded causally.
A bit too casually for Eddie’s liking. But he A bit too casually for Eddie’s liking. But he didn’t have a whole lot of options at this point. Fuck it, he thought, this might be all there is. The guy’s just gotta show up and take pictures right? With a sharp inhale Eddie asks, “Do you have any availability June 5th? I know it’s pretty soon.”
The other line hummed for a moment, “What’s the occasion?”
“My wedding.”
“Damn. Guess you’re not a planner then huh.”
“Excuse me I’ll have you kn-“ The voice chuckled, “I’m just messing with you, man. What’s your name?”
“Eddie Kaspbrak,” He hummed again, “Well, I might have somethin open just for you Eds.”
“That’s not my na-“ “Do you have a venue?”
Eddie scoffed, frankly sort of offended “Well, yeah of course,”
“Can you text me the address?”“Yes bu-“
The man on the phone clicked his tongue, “Mkay, cool. See if you can schedule something there so we can meet and I can check out the lighting and stuff.”
Eddie was a little dumbfounded at the gall this “Richie” seemed to have. “Um, okay,”
“Alright, see ya around then, Eddie spaghetti,” and before he could say anything about the nickname, he heard the phone click ending the call. Eddie sat in the wake of the phone call, a little disoriented to say the least. His laptop still had Richie’s website open and there was tab labeled “portfolio” on the top of the page. He clicked it reluctantly.
It was a layout of three pictures per row, and there were several rows. It was similar to an instagram feed, you could click on each picture to enlarge it and scroll. The first picture struck him: it was a girl with short red curls laying in a field, one hand across her chest and her eyes closed. She had a flower tucked on her ear, a white carnation, complementing a splattering of reddish freckles on her face. The golden light of the sunset behind her highlighted her long, reddish brown lashes. She looked beautiful. Eddie scrolled to see more.
A boy, muscular and tall, sitting inside a coffee shop, the picture being taken outside of it. It struck Eddie as a little weird if the photographer didn’t know this guy, but it was an amazing photo none the less. The background seemed faded as the man stared straight ahead out the window. The photo caught light of the man’s eyes; he was clearly pondering something as he peered longingly at something unseen to everyone but himself. He scrolled through several more of the photos, more featuring those two subjects. There were a few that looked to be graduation parties or other gatherings of the sort, but no weddings. That made him a little anxious, but clearly this Richie guy had some skill with the camera.
He was intrigued if nothing else.

Let’s talk about crushes
summary: Bill and Eddie have a heart-to-heart outside of a karaoke bar and Bill can’t honestly belive how oblivious his best friend is
warnings: implied underage drinking (if u are from the us), characters are aged up (around 18/19)
so! i started writing this as some headcanons but it turned out like this so?? enjoy?? the ending is shit bc i suck at those, but i had fun writing this so, enjoy! also pls keep in mind that english is not my first language, so prolly some of the writing will seem wonky
What a night.
The more Eddie thought about it, the less he could believe it. The songs, the alcohol, all his friends singing, laughing.
He was sitting on the sidewalk just outside the bar. He had told the gang he needed some air, and while it was true, it wasn’t entirely his only reason. Looking up at the sky, trying to see the stars, he reminiscenced about what happened before. Because yeah, Richie, tipsy, singing ‘Don’t You Want Me’ to his face wasn’t something that happened every day.
He can’t get the mental image of Richie Tozier, the Trashmouth, looking into his eyes through his big ass, ridiculous glasses, like he was looking deep inside of him, searching for something. His face was so close that if Eddie had leaned in, their foreheads would’ve surely touched. Eddie wasn’t sure of what Richie wanted to accomplish with that little performance, but he would be lying if he said he wasn’t shaken to the core. Hell, he was getting goosebumps only by thinking about it.
Richie Tozier. The disaster, foul-mouthed, ill-mannered, boy. The Trashmouth, the most hyperactive person Eddie had ever met, the one that had a talent of getting on his nerves. He couldn’t believe what he was about to say, but being in denial with himself was just stupid at this point. He had felt the atmosphere. He had felt Richie’s gaze. How the hell could a person give you butterflies by drunk-singing a fucking tacky 80’s song? He had no idea, but it was driving him nuts.
In that moment, Eddie Kaspbrak realized something that, honestly, it had always been so clear that he mentally punched himself on the face.
“I like Richie Tozier” he muttered.
And it felt good saying it out loud.
He actually felt better. Lighter even. Voicing the intrusive thoughts he had been having whenever he caught himself staring at Richie was kind of liberating.
“I like Richie Tozier” he repeated, this time louder, raising his head from his hands “I like Trashmouth”.
He giggled. He hadn’t felt this brave since he jumped from the highest spot of the quarry into the lake.
“I like Richie! Richie Tozier! Trashmouth!” he exclaimed between fits of laughter “I like him! I have a crush on him!” Eddie felt liberated, blabbering out loud to no one around him, speaking freely like he hadn’t in years “And I like his eyes, his hair, his jokes! His stupid-ass glasses, his hideous shirts! His dumbfuck smile! I would fucking kiss that smile!”
“Well, i-is guh-good to see y-you’re finally acc-accepting it”.
Eddie jumped, shrieking in surprise at the sound of Bill’s stutter, getting onto his feet almost defensively.
“What? Me? Accepting what?” he laughed nervously “What’s to accept, I’ve been just sitting here, in silence! What are you-!”
“Ed-Eddie I heard th-the whole th-thing” Bill said smiling at him from the bar’s entrance.
The small boy just stared at him from his awkward stance, looking like a deer in the headlights. They held each other’s gazes for what it felt hours, and when Eddie realized he wouldn’t be able to convince his friend that he misheard his blabbering, he groandes.
“C-come on, sit w-with me” Bill said, approaching him and sitting down on the sidewalk, the same spot Eddie was before. The other boy just sighed and droped himself next to his friend.
“So” he started “you heard me”.
“Yup” Bill nodded.
“All of it”.
“Yes”.
“About the glasses and the hair and the shirts” Eddie started flailing his arms around.
“Mhm”.
“Even the thing about his smile and the k-”.
“Ed-Eddie!” Bill stopped him, grabbing him by the wrists. “I h-heard all”.
“Jesus fuck” he whined “Jesus fuck! I’m pathetic and I’m so screwed”.
“Yuh-you’re not scru-screwd” Bill reassured him.
“But I am Bill!” Eddie just wanted the earth to swallong him whole “because-”.
“Eddie”.
“-you are going to tell Stan, which I understand, I wouldn’t get mad! You trust him with everything, but then Stan will tell Richie!”.
“Eddie” .
“Not willingly, because I know Stan can keep a secret but what if he gets drunk-”.
“Ed-Eddie!”.
“-or worse! When he, Bev and Richie get high and it just slips! I am in such deep shit! What th-!”.
“Kasp-brack!” Bill managesd to say “C-Calm down! I’m n-not gonna tuh-tell Stan!”.
Eddie closed his mouth, looking at Bill for a moment while the other boy gave him a half, endearing smile.
“You’re… you’re not?” he asked cautiously.
“Of c-course n-not!” he exclaimed “Muh-mainly because it’s yuh-your decis-cission to share it with us whenevuh-ver you’re ready, guh-got it?”.
Eddie smiled and nodded, relaxing all the tension he has unknowingly built in his shoulders.
“B-But also becuh-cause he already kn-knows” he smirked.
“WHAT?! How? When? WHO THE FUCK TOLD HIM?!” If Eddie though that he was getting anxious before, this was worse. He started patting his pockets and pulled out his inhaler, giving it a puff.
“Y-you did duh-dumbass” Bill laughed, ruffling his hair.
“The fuck you mean Denbrough” the other boy squeaked.
“Man, you tuh-truly are oblivi-vious”.
“What does that mean Bill!” Eddie exclaimed with a shrill tone.
“It muh-means that you are n-not as sneaky as you th-think” Bill said smiling fondly at him “D-Do you really thu-think we d-d-don’t see the duh-dumb smile you always g-get when you luh-look at Richie?”.
Bill laughed at the tiny noise that came from Eddie’s mouth.
“O-or how yuh-you are the o-o-o-only one that laughs at hu-his lame juh-jokes?”.
“Oh my god, I truly am pathetic” Eddie groaned.
“Nah, you’re nuh-not.” Bill chuckled “You j-j-just drive us a buh-bit nuts. Espuh-pecially Bev”.
Eddie managed to half-smile, still embarrassed about the whole situation. It wasn’t like he didn’t want Bill (or for what Bill has told him, all of the losers)to know. After all, they’re best friends, and always have been, through thick and thin. But he had never been 100% sure for his feelings towards Richie until a couple of minutes ago, when he blurted out loud the words “I like Richie Tozier”.
“So what now?” Eddie asked his friend. He truly hopes he didn’t look as nervous as he felt like.
“N-now we go inside. I’m fuh-fucking freezing” Bill replied, earning a laughter from Eddie “B-but about the Richie thu-thing, don’t wuh-worry, we would n-n-never tell him”.
“I know Bill, I know” Eddie’s voice was small, unsure. There was a pause, and the two boys just stayed sitting on the sidewalk, Bill shaking lightly from the cold, but didn’t push Eddie to get back inside.
“What if I wanted him to know?” suddenly the small boy muttered.
“Wuh-what?” Bill quirked an eyebrow at him, being unable to hide his smile.
“What if… I told him? Do you think he would freak out?” he asked again, this time a surer tone on his voice.
“Eddie…”
“Because if I say anything and he doesn’t like me back that could fuck up our group forever”
“Edd-”
“And you guys don’t deserve that! Just because I have a dumb crush!”
Dumb crush my ass Bill thought.
“Eddie!” he stopped him before his friend started rambling again “I’m saying thu-this because I luh-love you, b-but you t-t-t-t-trully are uh-oblivious”.
Bill had always know that the day Eddie Kaspbrak learned that Richie Tozier, the Richie Tozier,  had a crush on him, he would flip. But in that moment he was taken aback, seeing his friend turn completely silent, realization hitting him. His face contorted into a dumbstruck expression, eyes growing wide and face turning red.
“A-and suh-seriously, lets guh-get inside, muh-my ass is fuh-freezing”.

When did you first realize you liked Richie as more than a friend?
Tumblr media
Story time!
When we were little Ma hated Richie. He was always looking like a disaster child, super hyper, rambunctious and generally just a lot to handle. Ma thought he’d be a bad influence on me so she didn’t want us to be friends. I told him that we couldn’t be friends because of what she said. Next thing I know, he shows up at my door “dressed up” in a super baggy button down, mismatched socks and pants that were way too big on him. Looking back, he might have even been wearing two different shoes. He came over trying to look neat and proper to convince my Ma that he wasn’t a delinquent, like he could prove he was good enough to be my friend by trying to make a new first impression. I know we were really little, but I think it started there.

Where, besides Tumblr, can people find you doing fannish things? (Obviously only mention sites and usernames you actually want to be found at. Don’t expose your secret identities on my account.)
What other names have you gone by on these platforms, including Tumblr, if any?
When did you join the IT fandom? And what got you into fandom, to begin with?
What are your favorite ships, or characters, if any, and why? What do they mean to you?
In what ways do you participate in fandom? (ex. Posting memes, reblogging/commenting on content, writing fanfic, making fanart, creating fanmixes, etc.)
Do you have any in-fandom inspirations? Other members of the community that drive you? (And if you have the time/energy, in what ways do they inspire you?)
Name and link some of your favorite works, please!
Do you have any works of your own that you feel particularly proud of, or wish more people would’ve consumed? Please provide links if possible.
Have you ever participated in a fannish event (ie. IT Week, a fic Big Bang) or applied to be a part of a fanzine? If so, which ones, and can you please link them?
Without any form of bashing or lashing out, what is something you feel this fandom is missing?
HOO BOY. You weren’t joking about having questions! Ok. Let’s do this!
Where, besides Tumblr, can people find you doing fannish things?
I will once and a blue moon upload pictures to my art Instagram which is @ dear_doodle and sometimes I post fanart/cosplays/meeting cast members/conventions on my personal Instagram which is @ ayyymichele.
What other names have you gone by on these platforms, including Tumblr, if any?
Uh. I have one that I won’t promote because I really need to delete it because it’s sole purpose was unhealthy for me. I have been half of @stenbroughasks and I also am the mod of @ask-eddiekasp
When did you join the IT fandom? And what got you into fandom, to begin with?
So I was never super into the mini series, but I had watched it because one of my best friends was terrified of Pennywise...so what better motivation to give it a whirl? I was super excited when Chapter 1 came out though because I loved the Pennywise design so much more. And because, once again, my friend was having a fit over it so for some reason it made me all the more excited? After I saw Chapter 1 and watched how the Losers interacted in it, I HAD to make Xan watch it aaannnnnnnd the rest is history.
What are your favorite ships, or characters, if any, and why? What do they mean to you?
Ships: Reddie, Stenbrough, Hanbrough, Benverly
Characters: I really love them all, but my favorites are Richie and Eddie.
In what ways do you participate in fandom? (ex. Posting memes, reblogging/commenting on content, writing fanfic, making fanart, creating fanmixes, etc.)
I draw, but I am afraid they aren’t super popular, but that’s ok! I share other content creators works, and I run the Ask Kasp blog. I roleplay off of Tumblr too.
Do you have any in-fandom inspirations? Other members of the community that drive you? (And if you have the time/energy, in what ways do they inspire you?)
OH SHEESH. HOW DO I EVEN LIST EVERYONE HERE?!?! The IT fandom is filled with so many talented creators and such supportive people who always have such kind feedback. Admittedly, Xan keeps most of my muse and fuel alive because we rp, talk headcanons, share drabbles, blah blah
Name and link some of your favorite works, please!
I feel like @caliceal art and mini comics, @kmcarras Reddie Storyboard and @slashpalooza Loose Ends are my favorite story-telling and art related works. Gwen is the Captain of Cuteness and kills me with adorableness, Kat is so talented with nailing characterizations and facial expressions, and Romax just absolutely crushes the anatomy and character designs.
There are so so so many great fanfictions out there, but I am an idiot who does not save anything and then can never find it again. THERE WAS ONE I WAS READING WHERE THE LOSERS WERE DEVELOPING POWERS AND I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME FIND IT AGAIN AND I DON’T REMEMBER WHO WROTE IT OR IF IT EVER UPDATED.
Do you have any works of your own that you feel particularly proud of, or wish more people would’ve consumed? Please provide links if possible.
SIIIIIIIIIIIIGH. I am Queen of Pity Parties over my uploaded art so I am always bummed over most of my art and the lack of notes. Which once again, shouldn’t matter because the people who do like, reblog, comment and all that good stuff mean so much to me anyway! I’m not even going to link anything. I don’t have a style that stands out or is really distinguishable for characters. Like, you wouldn’t see it and think “Oh Reddie!” So I think between that and the fact its more anime/chibi styled I think it gets overlooked.
Have you ever participated in a fannish event (ie. IT Week, a fic Big Bang) or applied to be a part of a fanzine? If so, which ones, and can you please link them?
I have not. I have been asked and I have thought about applying to things, but I am not a dedicated artist who can commit to deadlines. I draw when I want and what I want so it doesn’t make for great participation skills, even if I always wanted to do them! I suck.
Without any form of bashing or lashing out, what is something you feel this fandom is missing?
A sense of more open-mindedness and less policing people. Obviously unless there’s some seriously problematic shit going on.

When I get you alone
Read here on AO3
Preview:
“You want me to touch you baby?” Richie asked, moving back up to look him in the eye. “You’ve been waiting so impatiently for it.”
Eddie scowled but couldn’t hold the expression as Richie palmed him, making him jerk into Richie’s hand.
“The things I want to do to you-” Richie said, his fingers dancing over the elastic band on Eddie’s shorts.
But Richie never got to say what he wanted to do. At that moment Eddie’s door flung open and his roommate walked in.
Or, Richie and Eddie keep ending up in compromising positions but get interrupted before anything can happen- and before they can talk about it.

35 + Reddie for the fluff prompt please?
↬“I could spend hours just looking at you.”
Richie groaned as the morning light peeking through the blinds hit his face, threatening to completely blind him if he dared to open his eyes. He covered his face with his hand, turning away from the light only to come into contact with Eddie’s back. He cursed as he changed tactics, opting to feel around for his glasses so he could actually see what he was doing.
Once he could finally see again, he looked over at Eddie, smiling at how peaceful he looked as he continued to sleep. It had been a couple months since Eddie had moved in with him and Richie couldn’t be happier. He loved waking up next to Eddie every morning, cuddled up against him. It’s what he’d always dreamt about growing up: a happy and domestic life with Eddie.
After everything they’d been through, everything the fucking clown had put them through, they were finally together. Eddie had divorced his wife and Richie had finally admitted his feelings for his best friend. It was scary and nerve wracking, but it had all been worth it.
Richie snaked his arm around Eddie, careful not to wake him as he held him as close to him as he possibly could. ‘Thirty more minutes.’ He thought to himself as he began to drift off to sleep again. ‘Thirty more minutes and then I’ll wake him up.’
“Rich?” Eddie said softly as he placed a hand over the arm wrapped around him and began to gently shake at it. “Are you awake?”
Richie groaned, moving to bury his face against Eddie’s neck, as a muffled “ten more minutes” escaped his lips.
“No way!” Eddie protested as he turned to face Richie, tangling their legs together as he ran a hand through his boyfriend’s messy curls. “Knowing you, you already woke up and fell back asleep again. It’s time to get up babe!”
“It’s Sunday, Eds.” Richie whined, refusing to open his eyes. “It’s supposed to be a day of rest!”
“Rest does not mean sleep all day!” Eddie shot back as he began to kiss Richie’s face. “Come on, wake up. I’ll make you some pancakes while you watch those shitty cartoons you love so much.”
Richie didn’t budge, allowing Eddie to continue to kiss and bribe him with breakfast. He was about to agree, finally give in and get up when Eddie suddenly stopped kissing him. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion before finally opening his eyes again to peer over at Eddie.
“I could spend hours just looking at you.” Eddie said before Richie could ask what was wrong. “I could lay in this bed all day and not give a fuck about anything and anyone around me.”
“Eds…” Richie began but was cut off by Eddie.
“Every moment that I’m able to just look at you and think about how lucky I am that I can finally be with you is just…” Eddie paused, voice cracking a little before he continued, “God I can’t quite put it into words.”
Richie let out a shaky breath as tears threatened to spill from his eyes. He knew Eddie loved him, of course he did, but he had never heard him say anything like this before. There was so much emotion- so much love- behind those words that it left him a little speechless.
He wanted to crack a joke, banish all the sappy emotions beginning to build up within him before realizing that he didn’t have to do that anymore. Richie loved Eddie and Eddie loved him back. They were living together, they were together. There was no reason to hide his feelings anymore, no fear of rejection. He could tell Eddie that he loved him without fear of being laughed at or rejected or anything bad he had ever imagined growing up.
“I love you Eddie.” Richie said as he kissed Eddie’s forehead. “I could spend hours telling you just how much.”

Dive Bar
summary: The summer of 1989 was something Bill had not thought about in years. The people. The places. The Loser’s. But when he runs into an old friend at the bar, it’s like he’s there all over again.
Ships: Reddie
Song: ‘Piano Man’ by Billy Joel
(IT happened but Bill runs into someone before the 2nd showdown)
Bill Denbrough had been many things when he was the bright age of ten. A friend, a brother, a son but it seemed by the time of his most recent age of twenty-nine, he was none of those things anymore. The worst part of it was that he could barely remember the time when he was those things but his stomach still ached with guilt and had him waking up in a heated sweat at least once a month. He was driving himself crazy and had been attempting to fix it, but sometimes he entertained the thought of just allowing himself to sink. Because was it really worth the effort if he had no one else?
He swiped his hand over his 5 o'clock shadow, feeling the stubble that he’d just been neglecting for the past few days. He thought about the deserted baby blue razor that was resting on the pure white porcelain counter in his hotel room. He made a note to himself to pick the damn thing up when he got back and get the peppering of hair off his face. He dragged his feet into a kind looking dive bar for a hardy dose of alcohol related amnesia. If he was honest, he was looking forward to it all day.
The place was crowded with the kind of people Bill assumed were regulars. He felt out of place from the minute he stepped inside. He strolled over to the bar and took the stool next to an old man who’s clothes shadowed his former young self. He was nursing his drink, swirling it and taking few sips as if wanting to make it last. Bill wanted to stare curiously but he held the urge back. The cheap light bulbs that were screwed into cones of emerald green, heated the back of his neck and he took off his jacket. Settling himself in.
Bill was not an impatient person so he took the time in which he waited to drag his eyes over every inch of the cozy bar. He was narrowing his eyes to focus on an old black and white photo when somebody tapped on the bar. He whipped his head around and saw the face of a man, leaning down only slightly. His hair was a curled pitch black.
“Something I can get you?” He asked, a smile spreading easily over his face. Bill felt a flicker of recognition that was gone in a flash.
“An Old Fashioned?” Bill decided before he could really think about it. The man nodded and went to work. Bill watched him, trying to figure out why he was so interesting.
“Y’know my dad used to drink this.” The man said in passing as he slid the drink over and leaned on the bar in front of him once again. Bill hummed and took a sip.
“I’m more of a colorful drinker myself.” He chuckled, and God that laugh was something, Bill swore on it. The man sipped at some nauseated pink drink. “But you seem like the boring type.”
“Beep Beep.” Bill rolled his eyes but froze completely. ‘Where the fuck did that come from?’. It seemed whatever it was that he said, cause the man to freeze too. He didn’t look fearful, as Bill must’ve but rather interested. He was tapping his fingertips in a pattern over his chin with a crooked smile.
“Does that mean something to you?” Bill asked, knowing it must have meant something to him or else he wouldn’t have let it slip.
“I would say so, sir.” He responded with a spot on British accent. “Takes me right back-”
“To when?” Bill interrupted as he was starting to retrace his whole life to place this guy.
“Well, I don’t know but it does.” He shrugged with amusement.
It was his attitude that helped Bill start to connect the dots…to a kid he swore he didn’t remember until this very moment. ‘But it couldn’t be. all his voices sounded the same-’ “Richie Tozier?”
“The one and only.” He smirked but quickly stopped to look Bill over. “Well, by golly! You must be…Bill Denbrough?” He snapped his fingers in Bills face. Bill chuckled and slapped his hand down.
“How did you know?”
“Came to me in the moment.” Richie shrugged and Bill felt a tug in his chest. “God, How are you?”
Bill could have lied but his mind flashed,‘C’mon this is Richie. Don’t lie to him’ and though he was only barely recalling him, he agreed. “Can’t say too well, Rich. You?”
Richie looked around the bar and shrugged, throwing a towel over his shoulder. “Ah, you know me Big Bill. I make every place better just by being there.” He chuckled again. Bill couldn’t help but laugh with him, their laughter mixing was so familiar it hurt.
He took out a lighter and waved it at Bill who nodded though he hadn’t smoked in ages. He took an offered smoke and Richie lit it for him, the red reflected warmly in his eyes. He pulled back and let Bill have room to blow his smoke.
Richie slid someone else their drink and seemed to make some sort of joke, waving his hands about and laughing like it was hysterical. Though he slid right back over to Bill and the smile just ran away from his face.
“You know, I think this is killing me, Bill.” Richie laughed but it wasn’t funny. Bill frowned.
“What are you saying Rich?”
“I’m sure that I could be making it big, knocking em’ dead y’know? You remember how my voices used to sound, right?” Richie asked and he nodded even though he didn’t really need an answer. “Trust me, they’ve improved…but I just can’t get out of this fucking place.” He shook his head and bit into his lip.
Bill’s heart plummeted. Richie was a people person as long as he’d known him, of course he’d get attached to some ol’ dive bar like it meant the world to him. “You spoken for, Bill?” Richie spoke again before Bill could say something.
He smiled, shaking his head. “No, not yet…you?” He returned the question. Richie shook his head just the same. Bill felt a little surprised, like he expected him to say he was. And Bill wasn’t sure why. He could’ve sworn Richie had something special going on the last he’d seen him…
“I thought…well I’m not sure what I thought actually.” Bill chuckled and Richie looked at him curiously. But Bill felt as if he was suddenly just attacked with memories. Of his six friends, he saw all of their faces for a quick second. He heard each of their laughter. And he saw the fiery red head, Bev…gripping onto Ben’s hand, He saw Mike riding no-hands on his bike proudly, he saw something he could only describe as beautiful, Stanley Uris laughing his ass off. And he saw the smile of his first best friend, Eddie..kasp-? Kaspbrak!
“Do you remember Eddie?” Bill asked, excited. Richie pulled back for a second. He looked as if he was being hit with everything like a wall of water, Bill assumed he’d looked just the same not a moment ago.
“Yeah, Yeah I remember him…” Richie was gripping onto what was only a ghost of a memory. “What happened-?”
“I don’t know, I haven’t thought about him in ages.” Bill shrugged, wondering just why Richie looked so guilty.
Richie twisted the towel on his shoulder as he was trying to focus on the faint echoes of someones giggling playing on sudden repeat in his head. ‘There’s so many things you should’ve told him…’ he said like a reminder to himself. “Shit, Eddie…he-We were something weren’t we?”
Bill didn’t know the answer but he nodded anyway because it felt right. Suddenly Richie looked sick to his stomach. His eyes looked wildly back and forth, mouth a little agape. Bill looked back at the man playing piano in the corner of the place and felt a chill run up his spine like he should be remembering something traumatic but just couldn’t pick up on it.
Richie took a long sip of his nausea in a cup and tried to focus. He remembered the way the small boy’s hand fit into his first. And then his laugh, his eyes and the way they’d roll whenever Richie opened his mouth, the way his nose scrunched up whenever he was disgusted and if Richie was correct, he did that a lot. He stood up straight, putting his hands on his hips. “How do you forget being in love like that?” He shook his head, mocking an amused smile this time.
Bill couldn’t answer because he didn’t know.
Richie laughed again and it would’ve haunted Bill if he could remember it after he left. “Maybe getting out of Derry isn’t all it cracked up to be?”
“Don’t say that Rich, that place was awful and-”
“But it had you guys, and I remembered shit there.”
Bill got a chilling feeling in the pit of his stomach “Maybe it’s better off if we don’t remember whatever happened that summer-”
“I want to fucking know who Eddie is, but for some reason, when you walk out of that door, I know it’s all going to go away. I can barely remember it now. I haven’t thought about him in forever, but just now…when I remembered him, shit I felt something that made me feel worth it, Bill.”
“It’s like I finally know what ‘Baby, I love Your Way’s about.” Richie added with a genuine laugh. Bill smiled and chuckled.
“They all look at me like ‘God, what are you still doing here?’ “ Richie looked over his Saturday crowd with a fond look in his glossy eyes and started wiping down the counter.
“You deserve better, Rich. You’re the funniest guy I know-”
“Yeah, until you walk out the door.” Richie added with a smug look and Bill had to laugh because it was true.  He finished his Old Fashion and knew it was time to go.
“Maybe I’ll see you again?” Bill asked, hoping for a ‘yes’.
Richie smiled. “Yeah, I’d like to think so.” He shrugged again. Bill reached over and hugged him. Richie sniffled and Bill gripped harder, not wanting to let go. He treasured the faces of his friends once more. Strong Beverly, Genuine Ben, Proud Mike, Beautiful Stan, and Richie&Eddie’s blushing faces.
They were right, When Bill walked out that night…everything faded again. It got even worse when Bill flew home.
But it was after there little run in, that Richie got himself out of that bar, making sure it was in good hands and into the DJ scene with major success.
