A quick REintroduction for new followers. (I did this (with the same self-portrait) about year ago as well) Here is a self-portrait with one of my most often used cameras, a 1950s Graflex Crown Graphic. (I have and use 4 other Speed Graphic cameras, and vintage cameras are an obsession) I am a mid-career artist who focusses on photography, collage, mixed-media (@stephen_sheffield_collage), and the combination of the two. As a working artist, the majority of my income comes from prints sales and large and small art commissions. Former faculty of the New England School of Photography & the New Hampshire Institute of Art MFA program and recent adjunct faculty at the Massachusetts College of Art MFA program, I also teach collage and photography workshops, lecture on various art related subjects, including creativity, motivation and career trajectory, and mentor artists one-on-one in all stages of their careers. My better half is the incredibly talented Interior Designer Alison Sheffield (@sheffield_interiors), and together we are raising two amazing teenage boys. After many years and many adventures as a family in the city of Boston, we now reside in the small seaside town of Cohasset, just to the south of the city, where I work out of my home studio and darkroom. I've noticed new faces around here and I figure some of you have found me because of this article I had the pleasure of writing and photographing for the @inherstudiomagazine . (I still pinch myself whenever I say that) I appreciate you hitting the follow button on this little account of mine! I'm Adrienne, an artist, jeweler, photographer and writer living and creating in Tennessee. I take inspiration for the work I do from my spiritual connection to the Natural World. You'll find videos and photography centered around hiking adventures and nature walks in my Stories and feed frequently, along with our cats and backyard gardens. The photography and writing are things I love, but the jewelry was the first to intrigue me past distraction. If you read the magazine article you witnessed some of this obsession. I really do love this craft. The jewelry I create has always been a way of honoring Nature. Nothing else ever really felt right to me. I've accepted her as my main Muse. I've also been exploring the cultures and lands of the Ancestors who made me. There are many, and what I'm understanding on a deeper level is the influence they have always had on my creative being, coming out in the work I do on many levels. It's a magical, wondrous thing. My ideal day begins with my baby🧒, preparing breakfast for us, and starting the day with hot chocolate milk☕. I'm overjoyed that I decided to pursue my desired job. I'll create my artwork when my baby sleeps💤. My baby naps roughly every two to three hours. I have stopped binge-watching social media scrolls on Instagram 🚫 or other platforms and have instead begun working on my illustration or pattern collections. I'll play with my baby and go for walks with her when she wakes up🙎‍♀️. She's such a cute little joy. We share a meal at lunchtime. Make my baby take a bath🚿, put her to sleep, and then go back to work. I'll create crochet crafts🧵, read books📖, or take care of plants 🌿 if I need to do something other than art.

I couldn't be more content and delighted with my life🤩. My husband and I have time alone in the evening after putting my baby on a lengthy nap. We will discuss our day's highs and lows and wind up our day. 💞

After that our sleep mode ON

this is my introduction post!!

if some of you could tell (which you probably couldn’t because I wasn’t very popular in the past since i didn’t post often), I used to have an old acc!

i deleted it because i needed some time to recuperate and wanted to make a fresh start with more organized accs and posts when I was ready to post again!

but yes, I still do art, and I’ve started to do it more frequently! i’ll be posting some of my old art here to kinda possibly jog some memories and to show you guys what my art looks like and how it’s improved!

Hello sunshines! ☀️ I have gained so many new followers (thank YOU!) and as humans, we are forever changing and growing so I figured it was time I do an artist introduction again! Heres the face being the creations, I'm Alex! 💞 The business is name Clydescope, as in Kaleidescope, but with my dad name Clyde, in memory of him. From a young age, I was always interested in everything creative, which he helped to inspire more so in me. I was born and raised in the beautiful mountains of NC. I am my happiest self when I'm creating, sending my creations out into the world and seeing the joy they bring others! 🤗 I work a full time job as well as doing my business full time as well. My goal is to do my business full time one day, and preferably travel as I'm doing it (but who knows what the future will hold! 🤗) I have been wire wrapping for roughly 5 years now (off and on) but really started taking it more serious a year ago. Thanks to an amazing group of people who are also participating in a social media visibility challenge as part of our involvement in the WEALTH program created by @carolynelliott_ my Instagram has a lot of new followers. So, a refresher introduction is in order. My name is Zayda Fleming. I am an artist and an aesthetically motivated person. I primarily work with ink and watercolors but I am planning on experimenting with acrylic paint in the near future. I was raised in a conservative Christian setting but left that path about 5 years ago. I am a feminist. I believe Black Lives Matter. I believe that the history we are taught in this country is heavily skewed by white supremacy, white fragility, and white exceptionalism in the curriculum. I am also a bookworm with a particular obsession with Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels, and an anime fan. I have 3 tattoos and I definitely want more. As some of you may have read in previous post descriptions, I have anxiety, mild depression, a wonderful cat, a supportive partner, and a desire to embody my fullest self. Hola! I have noticed a lot of new followers on here and I would like to do a little updated introduction for you. I am a proud Spaniard that moved to the UK many years ago. Art has been my passion since I can remember and I have always kept my mind open to different processes. I have a Fine Arts degree in painting and I have been painting geometric abstractions on paper and canvas for over a year now. Before that I worked for may years on digital art and installations (the background is one of my digital artworks). Getting back into making art with my hands again has been extremely rewarding. FRIDAY INTRODUCTION . It’s been far too long since I’ve done this - so hello to y'all, I’m Christina a.k.a. BonfireArt 👋 . I’m based in Buenos Aires since 2008, where I live with my husband and two kids. Drawing, and later painting, became my hobby in 2015 . As for some lesser known things about me ⭐ My favorite place to relax on a daily basis is our garden. I love just sitting here with some Mate tea or coffee, watch the greens, the plants and flowers and the sky and reflect on my day ⭐ I just can’t get accustomed to Christmas in summer!! I appreciate my birthday being in spring here in the southern hemisphere and I don’t mind not having to bundle up for new years, but having been born and raised in Germany, Christmas and winter just belong together for me ⭐ I love swimming and being in the water in general. When I was younger, I took lessons in scuba diving and dreamed about filming underwater documentaries ⭐ I never learned how to drive a car and although especially at the beginning of every year I wonder if this will be the year I finally learn it, in more than 40 years I’ve never gotten around to actually do it ⭐ I’d really love to know something more about you too, so write something in the comments if you want.
