My view on the Trans discourse debate:
You need dysphoria to be trans.
People without dysphoria are not Trans.
Nonbinary people are valid.
Aces/Aros are valid but should not speak above Trans people in Trans discourse.
Pansexual is phobic, Bisexual is valid.
I am pro-ship because it's FICTIONAL.
Neoprouns are NOT VALID and this is coming from an autistic person.
Autism isn't a gender.
I am a therian. This means I act like a cat occasionally. It has nothing to do with my gender, my pronouns (he/him), or me being Trans Male.
I have dysphoria about my chest, voice, curves, lack of body/facial hair, and strength. I have no bottom dysphoria but that doesn't mean I like having one either.
And finally: "oh we as tucutes aren't hurting anyone".......YES YOU FUCKING ARE. IT'S BECAUSE OF YOU PEOPLE THAT TRANS PEOPLE AREN'T TAKEN SERIOUSLY.
Happy holidays!

hi!! im wondering if you'd be down talking with me about your views around transmedicalism/lgbt exclusion? i scrolled through some of your anti TERF/radfem tag and got curious seeing anti tucute as well, genuinely speaking i usually see those going hand-in-hand? not in bad faith; your profile says "ask me about it!" under transmedicalist and i feel emboldened to do that!!
thanks so much for asking, that’s really refreshing, honestly! a lot of people just immediately decide to judge instead because there’s a lot of misinformation about what transmedicalism actually is. and one of those pieces of misinformation is what you mentioned; radfems/TERFs and transmeds ‘going hand in hand.’ let me assure you that’s not true at all. transmeds dislike radfems as much as any reasonable person. after all, transmedicalism is all about wanting to make sure trans people (people who experience gender dysphoria) are able to be taken seriously in society and get what they need in order to live the lives they want. radfems on the other hand, well… we all know they hate trans people and constantly antagonize them as «a threat to women»🙄 they don’t see trans women as real women, or trans men as real men. transmedicalists do. someone’s biological sex characteristics doesn’t determine someone’s gender. sometimes, a person’s brain develops to be wired in such a way that they feel female instead of male, or male instead of female. so when they look in the mirror and see a body that doesn’t fit the way their brain is, they’ll feel confused, uncomfortable, stressed, depressed… they can feel that it just isn’t right, and that they want to change it. and that’s what gender dysphoria is. transmeds feel that gender dysphoria is innate to transness. and we want everyone in that situation to be able to transition. one misconception about us is that we think you have to transition to be really trans, and that’s not true. we know well that not everyone with gender dysphoria can manage to transition medically or even socially, for many different reasons, like poverty or living somewhere unsafe or physical complications. and it’s not like trans people have always gotten to transition. trans people have existed since we humans evolved the complex brains we have. the majority of trans people throughout history just had to suffer in silence. it’s really great that we live in an age where it’s more possible for these people to not have to suffer like that! the medical world has advanced really far! still, there are many places where it’s just straight up unsafe for trans people to do what can alleviate their gender dysphoria. we want them to be able to access what they need. radfems, or TERFs, don’t want that for them. they think that trans men are misguided women who are ruining their bodies because they’ve been brainwashed by the patriarchy and need to be saved, and that trans women are predatory men fetishizing the female body and trying to invade women’s spaces for nefarious reasons. honestly, the way they view trans people is very close to how transphobic conservatives view them, but that’s another discussion. what needs to be focused on here is the fact that transmeds don’t think that way. one of our core beliefs is that trans people should get to transition. we just think it’s important that they need to get diagnosed with gender dysphoria first. if someone who feels no gender dysphoria, AKA a cis person, tries to medically transition, that will in itself make them feel dysphoric. and the sad truth is that it’s not always fully reversible. it’s a big, life-changing decision that one needs to make sure is the right one for themselves, and a good way to figure that out is a diagnosis. (i will be adding more in a reblog because i ran out of writing space…)

'You need dysphoria to be trans' motherfuckers when they realize the 'trender' they 'called out' for having xenogenders is a dysphoric trans person: erm actually you're still not trans cuz I don't understand you! >:(

You know what
I don't support xenogenders.
But, if someone says their gender relates to forests and uses mud/moss pronouns at this point, I don't care about not supporting it. I'll use those pronouns on moss. Or mud.
Because, well, it is the social description for gender of each person, and xenopronouns are technically nicknames to use before "default setting" pronouns. I did that! Not with xenopronouns because I didn't feel that connection, but I used to tell some of my friends to call me by my nickname (Pup) instead of my name or pronouns.
Yeah, I don't like xenos, I have had debates about it even: I know social gender exists and that everyone can do whatever they want with their identites, but I decided to ignore (or to not support) that "social-gender-system"... in general, not just xenos, but, the thing is I know how to respect people and their beliefs! (?) And if their feelings tell them that they are Sharkgender, Sakura-Miku-figure-gender and some other stuff, whoa, good for them! Have a nice day, sharkpal! /gen
But yeah, just, thoughts, empty minded shark thoughts.
In summary: basic respect is not that hard, buddies. 🥰

Call me all sorts of nasty things but I don’t think a person NEEDS dysphoria to be trans
To me gender is a matter of self perception and a pursuit of comfort and happiness. Do you perceive yourself as a gender different from the one you were assigned at birth? Does it make you more comfortable and happy to be perceived this gender and to identify with this gender? If yes than that’s enough to make you trans
Being trans isn’t about suffering or hating your body, it’s about identifying yourself as a gender different from your birth and finding happiness in that. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Took a Trans Axis test and I'd say the results are pretty accurate although some of the questions are pure politics and not Trans related so take it with a grain of salt. But otherwise good test.

ik i talk abt high control groups kinda often but i do encourage anyone involved in discourse in any capacity to watch folding ideas' "this is financial advice" video, because a lot of what he says about the gamestop apes being a self-organizing high control group imo also explains the more toxic discourse tendencies, and i feel like most discussion around high-control groups on here focuses on the tradtional kind that has one or a few distinct leaders which makes it harder to draw parallels between the signs. so i think its important to point out that these kinds of groups can still create that same energy as a unit even if there isn't one specific person calling the shots
#origibberish#namely the signs ive noticed most over the years are obviously internal jargon‚ thats kind of a given when working with microlabels#but see also transmed/truscum/trender/tucute/acey/theyfab/transandrophobia truther/etc etc etc#ideas being boiled down to short gotchas that just get ping ponged back and forth#see The Entirely Of Any Ace Discourse Argument for that but again see 'theyre just trans mras'#and the tendancy for members to turn on anyone who steps out of line even a little#omg i cqnt believe i forgot pro/anti discourse too theyre really bad about all of these on both sides#oh or another example would be steven universe discourse#like 'it endorses letting fascists off the hook' would just get thrown around as if it was undisputed fact despite there being MILES#of shit going on in the background to get to that#anyways. yeah 👍 keeping this in mind has already made a huge difference in how i engage in online discussions#and has also been a good rule of thumb for when to Stop engaging with someone#where if theyre displaying these signs thank you i do not want to be part of this#and like yes that goes for people youre arguing with but it obviously /ESPECIALLY/ goes for people you like#if you have a friend who you feel like you cant say anything that disagrees with them or theyll freak out at you. you dont have to keep#being friends with them. if being around someone makes you uncomfortable and you constantly find yourself making excuses for why#they treat you the way they do then thats a bad sign#and like with that i really hope ive managed to yknow. create a nice space here where ppl feel safe bringing stuff up?#idk
