AN OPEN MINDED VIEW OF THE ISRAEL PALESTINE CONFLICT: NOT ANTI-ISRAEL, NOT ANTI-PALESTINE, BUT ANTI-HATE.
i’m gonna start by saying this:
the sheer amount of anti-jew hate i’ve seen on my tumblr dash is absolutely abhorrent.
and now, let’s get into the specifics of my view:
i recently went to two events that my college hosted. one was an event in which a guest speaker discussed antisemitism and how it is running rampant lately due to the israel-palestine conflict.
and the other event i went to was an israeli man and a palestinian man who are CLOSE FRIENDS, and them telling their stories and how the animosity between palestine and israel have affected their lives, killed members of their families, and yet, they were friends. because they knew that they shared two things: their birthplace and their grief.
after attending both of these events, this is what i learned: BEING PRO ISRAEL OR PRO PALESTINE IS NOT REMOTELY HELPFUL. zionism is not inherently evil. the conflict is NOT ABOUT RELIGION. it’s not the muslims versus the jews. it’s about politics. it’s about fear and trauma and hurt.
the land doesn’t belong only to israel.
but it doesn’t belong only to palestine either.
the land is land, and it’s a gift from the higher power that created this world.
if the israeli people weren’t constantly discriminated against or expelled everywhere they went, maybe they wouldn’t feel the need to cling onto the one tiny piece of land that they managed to claim as theirs.
if the palestinian people didn’t get kicked out of the place they lived in first, and weren’t treated unfairly in israel’s social climate, maybe they wouldn’t feel the need to cling the exact same way.
israel has money and power from america and other places. and israel has done some terrible things. i know that. but so has palestine. and this post isn’t meant to excuse the bombings, the killings, the genocides. that’s not what this is about.
but people are dying on BOTH sides. countless people. in the usa and in many other places, people are getting hate crimed just for being jewish because people are so pro-palestine that they became anti-israel and anti-jewish. and the same is happening to muslim people who are pro-palestine.
can you see how being pro/anti just fuels the fire more and creates more war and violence and conflict and killing? what feeds a war is the possibility of winning or losing. being on one side or the other side does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help the people. it HURTS the people. because they are having their homes destroyed due to the polarization that WE are causing due to our need to fit things into one box or another. jewish or muslim. good or evil. israel or palestine. it shouldn’t be israel or palestine. it should be israel AND palestine, finding a way to come to an agreement. to SHARE or to compromise. if not, then the war will destroy them both. two beautiful nations with such rich history and such amazing potential.
my point in writing this post was not just to express my opinion but to spread knowledge based on what i learned from accredited experts as well as people are literally IN israel and palestine and facing the effects of the conflict. most of us on the internet are just sitting back and watching, choosing to be either anti-jew or anti-muslim just to feel helpful, to feel progressive and woke and hip and in-control.
wearing a “from the river to the sea” t-shirt isn’t helping anybody. all it does is create more tension and polarity.
comparing zionism to evil and saying that all zionist’s want palestinians dead is incorrect and hateful and lowkey antisemitic.
and this goes for all the anti-palestinian hate as well, but honestly, most of my dash on here is filled with “pro-palestine” stuff that acknowledges the suffering the palestinians are going through while entirely ignoring the israelis going through something extremely similar.
before you get angry in the reblogs and accuse me of supporting a genocide (i’m not), or accuse me of being complacent (i’m being the opposite), or just any sort of hate, maybe take a deep breath and read what i wrote again.
it’s about the PEOPLE. every single person on this planet has inherent worth and dignity, and nobody deserves to be diminished to one trait of their identity.
“oh, you’re jewish? that means you’re a zionist and that means you’re pro-israel and that means you support bombing and killing innocent civilians!”
that’s actually genuinely logic i’ve seen on this website before, and it’s that sort of thinking that i want to combat. that’s the thinking that the israeli and palestinian friends want to combat.
being jewish isn’t the same as being pro israel. being muslim isn’t the same as being pro palestine. there is SO MUCH MORE to this conflict than what is being put down on social media. i beg of you guys to read a book about antisemitism. look for resources that actually dig deep, primary sources, interviews, multiple news sources so you get a nice collection of perspectives. don’t just read one article and make an assumption about an entire group of people.
and it’s so unfair to blame an entire country for decisions that are being made by the government. it’s like saying “oh everyone in america supports banning abortion” when the abortion bans were choices made by a few powerful people. not the entire country. so when critiquing a country for their choices in war, it’s so important to express that it’s the government at fault. not the people. not the religion that most of them happen to believe in. again, it’s the politics of the situation. not religions.
there that’s all. please don’t kill me or dox me or tell me to kill myself or accuse me of being a jew or a muslim (i am neither) who has control/power over any sort of media influence (i am a disabled, gay, filipino, autistic young gender-non-conformist. i have basically no clout in this society 😂). i am just stating my opinion which is a perfectly fine thing to do online.

As someone who grew up in a very recently post 9/11 USA and had to do this myself, I'd like to hear how the rest of you started deconstructing the islamaphobic rhetoric we've been fed our whole lives.
I remember one specific incident, I dont remember anyones name, where a young girl had written a book and was invited on the news to talk about it. She sat down, all excited and happy, about as young as I was, maybe a few years older (I was about 8 or 9, this would have been 2008 or 2009) all ready to share her story and how she had written it with the world. And the woman who interviewed her started it out by asking her "do you condem 9/11"
All the happiness instantly leaked out of her face and was replaced by genuine fear. THEY (the adults) were scaring HER (young child) and everyone expected me to believe they acted like that because muslims are scary and evil. Even at that young age I understood why she would be scared. By asking her if she comdemned it, they subtly implied she has something to do with it. She now has to defend herself against random, unrealistic, ludicrous, unfair claims about a terrorist attack shes too young to personally remember. I knew she HAD to respond to these things calm and measured, she HAD to keep her cool or they'd have painted her as some crazy pyscho. She tried to explain she was to young to remember or have had anything at all to do with this, but the interviewer threw a large and noticeable bitch fit demanding she condemned it verbally. And so she did.
Never once did that interviewer though. Never once do any of them. The grown adults, old enough to have had something to do with it. Old enough to have sent support to Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda. Old enough to have been an informant or a spy. They never condemned him or his actions. In fact as I grew to notice, it was only okay to ask muslim people that, and deeply DEEPLY offensive to even suggest that they the interviewers do.
She never got to talk about her book. The demands of the interviewer wasted all the time.
In less specific examples, I remember random muslim people I saw asked this question on the news or random street interviews would answer calmy and concisely even if their anger was obvious. In an admireable show of self-control they'd keep their cool and not go off on the interviewer.
I always felt it was disrespectfull to the dead to do that. Dragging their memories up and waving them around in the face of these random people because they shared a religion with someone evil. They died horrificly, some people burning, some jumping, many being crushed to death. It didnt need to be treated like a Q&A moment everytime someone had an obviously muslim person in their presence.
Eventually it just began to click that the fall of the twin towers, the hijacking of the planes, the deaths of all 2,996 people wasnt the issue these people had. They cared about loudly hating muslim people and the deaths of those people provided a nice excuse to do it for 20 years publicly.

A little about the "prophet" Muhammad himself, the creator of the most "pure" and "true" religion:
Craig Winn:
“There have been many murderers, robbers and sexual predators in history.
There were even those who claimed they were anointed for it by God.
But there was only one person who made a religion out of it."
Muhammad's idea of "Paradise" was to have eternal sex with young, eternal virgins.
This man had absolutely no morals. He said that it was illegal for a Muslim to touch a Jewish woman, but when he once met a particularly beautiful Jewish woman, he wanted her so much that he went and received a "vision" from Allah, thanks to which exceptions to the rule were established. On another occasion, he took a six-year-old girl to be one of his "wives", although he waited until she was 9 to consummate the marriage.
(In general, it is sometimes funny to watch how Muslims try to get away and refute the fact that their role model was a PEDOPHILE.
They understand, apparently, that they should not take an example from that.)
Aisha herself says that the freak raped her when she was 9 years old:
"It is reported that Aisha said: The Apostle of Allah married me when I was 6 years old, and I moved into his house when I was 9 years old." (Sahih Muslim 8:3310)
Let's look in the reference book of psychiatry (because pedophilia is a mental deviation from the norm, which is not surprising - Muhammad was still a psychopath, it's a pity there were no mental hospitals at that time, he would have spent his life there):
Pedophilia (Section 302.2) is defined as:
Regular intense sexual fantasies, sexual desires, or acts of a sexual nature with a pre-pubertal child (usually 13 years old or younger) for at least six months.
The minimum age of a person suffering from pedophilia is at least 16 years, while the age difference between the pedophile and the child or children described in paragraph A must be at least 5 years.
Handbook of Diagnostics and Statistics of Mental Disorders, 4th ed., Psychiatry Online.
Muhammad's relationship with Aisha fully meets all the criteria for a diagnosis of pedophilia, and therefore,Muhammad was without a doubt a pedophile.
Modern Islamic apologists and Islamophiles very often state that at the time of marriage and the beginning of sexual activity, Aisha had already reached puberty. But they never provide convincing evidence in favor of this unsubstantiated claim. Instead, they refer to pre-Islamic culture and traditional practices from the 7th century in Arabia to support their claim.
The age difference between 9 year old Aisha and 54 year old Mohammed was 45 years!
To prove that Aisha had not yet reached puberty at the time when Muhammad took her as his wife and had intercourse with her, one must take into account Ibn Hajar's statement about the permissibility of playing with dolls in Islam for girls who have not reached puberty. Given this permission, when interpreting the hadiths relating to Aisha's marriage at age 6 and the time when Muhammad first had sexual intercourse with her, it can be effectively demonstrated that Aisha had not yet reached puberty at that time. Below we consider the evidence supporting this claim. Only prepubescent girls were allowed to play with dolls
This statement was made by the great Islamic theologian, the Islamic Sheikh Imam Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajaral-'Asqalani, an authoritative hadith scholar who served as the supreme judge of Egypt, regarding the permissibility in Islam of playing with dolls for little girls.
Sahih Bukhari Aisha is reported to have said, “I used to play with dolls in the presence of the Prophet and my girlfriends played with me. When Allah's Apostle entered, they hid, but the Prophet called them to return and continue to play with me. (Sahih Bukhari 8:73:151)
Playing with dolls and similar images of people is forbidden, but for Aisha, the game was allowed due to the fact that she was still a child who had not reached puberty. ("Fathul Bari", p. 143, Volume 13)
How can we know that the parenthetical commentary on playing with dolls is from Ibn Hajar? This is known from a quotation from Fathul Bari and also from a comparison of other translations from Sahih Bukhari 8:73:151 which contain the same meaning.
Other translations:
Confirmed by the authority of Aisha, who reported: I used to play with dolls in the presence of the Prophet and my girlfriends played with me. When the Messenger of Allah entered, they hid (out of embarrassment) from him every time he entered. But he ordered to call them back and continue the game with me. (Sahih by Bukhari and Muslim)
Islamic Law on Prohibition of Pictures (of Living Beings), Abu Mohammed Abdur-Rauf Shakir
The translator goes on to discuss the translation of the different versions of this hadeeth before quoting Ibn Hajar from Fathul Bari (Fathul Bari, N. 6130, Kitaab: al-Adab, Baab: al-Inbisaat ilaa an-Naas):
This hadeeth is used as proof of the permissibility of possession (suwar) of dolls and toys used for the play of little girls. This case constitutes an exception to the general prohibition against possessing images of living beings. (Girls and playing with dolls)
Islamic Legislation on Prohibition of Pictures (of Living Beings), Abu Mohammed Abdur-Rauf Shakir.
In cases where these images and dolls are children's toys, the Sunnah calls them permissible. It is reported in al-Shahehain that Aisha said: I used to play with dolls in the presence of the Prophet. And my girlfriends played with me... (Bukhari, 6130; Muslim, 2440) Ibn Hajar said: This hadeeth shows that it is permissible to have images of girls (i.e. dolls), as well as toys for children. This is an exception to the general prohibition on the possession of images. This was confirmed by Iyaad and was told by the majority. They allowed the sale of dolls to girls so that they could learn how to take care of the house and take care of children from childhood. Ibn Hibbaan confirmed the permissibility of playing with dolls for little girls.
Does the expression "little girls" refer to prepubertal girls? How do you know that the expression "little girls" refers to girls who have not reached puberty? Based on Islamic traditions and laws.
For example:
Girls are considered to have reached puberty if they have 3 of the above signs.
The fourth sign is menstruation (hayd). From the start of menstruation, a girl is considered a woman, even if she is only 12 years old. USC - Muslim Student Association, Collection of Islamic Texts.
The fact that among Muslims a girl is considered to have reached maturity from the moment of the onset of menstruation, speaks only of the complete illiteracy of Muslims in matters of biology, physiology and medicine.
The beginning of menstruation says ONLY that the girl has STARTED hormonal changes in her body, but she is absolutely not ready yet to give birth or become a mother.
It turns out that, imitating the pedophile prophet, Muslims marry such little girls ONLY TO SATISFY THEIR LUST.
But much TERRIBLE OTHER: that these pedophiles are JUSTIFIED and ENCOURAGED by Muslim women themselves.
It is necessary to fight against pedophilia, to condemn it FROM THE BEGINNING - from the fact that to recognize and condemn the actions of the prophet-pedophile. And do not defend him and LIE (However, what am I talking about? LIE in Islam is ENCOURAGED.)
Muhammad had sexual intercourse with Aisha in her house on the day of her wedding. This is confirmed by other hadiths, one of which describes the wedding day in more detail: It is reported that Aisha said: “My marriage contract with the Prophet was concluded when I was six years old. Then we came to Medina and stopped (in the quarter) Banu al-Harisbin Khazraj. After that, I got sick, and my hair fell out, and then it grew back. (One day when) I was swinging with my girlfriends, my mother Umm Ruman came to me and loudly called me, and I went up to her, not knowing what she wanted. She took my hand and led me to the door of the house. I was breathing heavily, and when my breathing began to calm down, she took some water and rubbed my face and head, after which she led me into the house. In this house there were women from among the Ansar, who began to say: "(We wish you) good, blessings (of Allah) and good luck!" And (my mother) handed me over (to these women), who prepared me (for the wedding), and in the morning the Messenger of Allah came, and (my mother) handed me over to him, and I was then nine years old ”(Sahih Bukhari 5:58 :234).
It is reported that Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said that the Prophet married her when she was seven years old and received her in his house as a bride when she was nine, and she had her dolls with her; and when he (the Prophet) died, she was 18 years old. (Sahih Muslim 8:3311)
It is worth noting that Aisha had dolls with her when she was taken into Muhammad's house as a bride. Considering Ibn Hajar's interpretation above of playing with dolls for adults, it is clear that Aisha had not yet reached puberty at the time of her marriage.
Therefore, it is safe to conclude from the hadeeth that Aisha was still a child when Muhammad first had sexual intercourse with her on her wedding day.
However, let's continue to consider the personality of this moral freak:
Not satisfied with an ordinary marriage, Muhammad gave an example of the so-called temporary marriage, which is still practiced in Shiite countries and which consists in the union of a man with a woman for an agreed time, is concluded and terminated without the permission of the parents and without any formalities.
Muhammad even went so far as to steal his own adopted son's wife after his request for her was voluntarily denied. Again, he received a convenient "revelation" from heaven that a father could take (quite literally) the wife of his son, whom he himself had adopted.
“When Said (adopted son) finished what was set for her, then we gave her as a wife to you (Mohammed), so that there would be no shortage of believers regarding the wives of their adopted sons when they finish the job for them; and the commandment of Allah must be fulfilled. There is no flaw in the prophet regarding what Allah has ordained for him. Sura 33:36-38
Thanks to this passage from the Koran, some Muslims renounced their faith.
Islamic historical sources themselves speak of Muhammad's unhealthy sexual inclinations. For example, Muhammad allowed boys to suck his tongue and he sucked their tongue. In "Musnad Ahmad", hadith number 16245, volume title: "Sayings of the Syrians", chapter title: "Hadith from Ibn Mu'awiya Abu Sufyan," we read the following: Hassan, son of Ali. The tongue or lips that the prophet sucked will be delivered from torment (in hellfire). Source: Hadith Al-Islam
Muhammad was very afraid of his own penis and was ashamed of his hypersexuality.
"I saw the Prophet when he was urinating. I greeted him, but he did not return the greeting. He hit his penis with a stick, rubbed his hands against the wall, then his face and greeted me." al-Barbahari "Sharhu Sunnah". (Hadith, Volume 1, p. 688, No. 236)
This shows that Muhammad was afraid to touch his penis. Ask any psychologist what that means.
"When Muhammad entered the restroom, he said: O Allah, protect me from male and female demons." Reported by Anas. (Hadith, Volume 1, p. 679, and also Sahih Muslim, 3:729)
The hadiths clearly show that this man had a fixation of guilt over his sexuality: When the prophet came out of the closet, he used to say: "O Allah, grant me your forgiveness." (Hadith, Volume 1, p. 684, No. 63, and also Abu Dawud, 1:30)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The processes of administration of natural needs and sexual organs were seen by Muhammad as sinful, and he felt guilty for them. And this is against the backdrop of complete sexual depravity.
Mohammed had all sorts of disgusting fetishes and strange quirks that were then deified.
Mohammed believed:
It is a great sin not to protect yourself from urine.
If you spray urine on yourself when you go to the toilet, you will go to hell.
Satan resides all night in the upper part of the nose.
Allah created the stars to throw them at demons like rockets.
Spirits eat dung and bones.
Women are devoid of mind and religion.
Most people in hell are women.
There is no ORIGINAL Qur'an and cannot be. Muhammad never wrote a single line in his life.
During the lifetime of the Prophet, the Quran consisted of fragments kept by different people.
Yes, and they were not written on paper or parchment, but as Islamic sources say: on bones, flat stones, leaves.
Moreover, not a single one of these artifacts has been preserved, although this happened relatively recently, in the 7th century.
Having started compiling the Qur'an, collecting literally from house to house, the Muslims did not even know exactly in what order to write down the verses, and therefore they simply decided to classify them by length. Imagine, not by the time of writing, and not even by the meaning, but purely mechanically - by the length!
There were several different versions of the Koran, and then Osman, the third caliph, in 644, 12 years after the death of the prophet, decided to canonize the text of the Koran. He took them away from the owners, and left only one (the rest he burned), which was the basis for 4 copies that were sent to different parts of the Caliphate. And what has come down to us
it's like from these copies. Here is the "original" word of God!
In Islam, religion, ideology, politics, traditions, way of life and way of thinking have merged into one strong knot. This is perhaps the only religion in the world where legislation is built on religious dogmas, where adherence to certain ancient and obsolete traditions is elevated to the rank of law, and where in order to be a "true believer", one must not only believe in Allah, but also kill In the name of Allah.
I will cite as proof of what has been said about Islam - the real suras and verses of the Koran. Please note that the Quran is NOT subject to change or misinterpretation. It differs from the same Bible in that the Bible was written by many people, while the Koran is composed of the statements of one person (Muhammad) over a significant period of his life.
While there are many parables, allegorical or alegorical interpretations in the Bible, THESE ARE NOT IN THE QURAN. Everything that the Quran says must be taken LITERALLY, exactly as it is written. The Qur'an is an "instruction" for Muslims, and instructions are not written allegorically.

Greatest UK rise in anti-Muslim hate recorded since 7 October
Islamophobic attacks have increased by 235 per cent in the UK since 7 October.
According to Tell MAMA, an organisation that records anti-Muslim incidents in the UK, there have been 2,010 incidents of online and offline abuse, the highest number in the four-month period since the organisation was founded in 2011.
In contracts, over the period from 7 October 2022 to 7 February 2023, 600 incidents were recorded. Incidents of anti-Muslim hatred included writing the word “Hamas” on a family’s front door and some Muslims were insulted while travelling on public transport.
According to the organisation, in more than 65 per cent of the cases, the victims were women. More than a quarter of the cases – 576 – were reported in London, according to Tell MAMA.
Iman Atta, director of Tell MAMA said:
We are deeply concerned about the impacts that the Israel and Gaza war are having on hate crimes and on social cohesion in the UK.

I just want to say that to all those who don't know what's going on- Islamophobia is on the rise again and hate crimes are getting more frequent and bold.
Muslims from everywhere are going out to the masjid more often because it is Ramadhan, and these attackers are taking advantage of this fact by showing up to our masjids and walking in during prayers to spread fear and hate.
Markham masjid just had someone walk in and start tearing the Quran up in front of people who had come to pray Fajr, only to get angry when attendees began to restrain him. He then proceeded to go outside into the parking lot, get into his car, and try to run people over, all before he was arrested on site.
A masjid in New Jersey just had someone break in, jump 6 six rows of people who were praying, and stab the imam leading the prayer, before attempting to escape.
Ramadhan is the month in which Muslims are trying their best to get close to Allah (SWT), which means attending the masjid more often- almost every night for Isha and Tarawih prayers. Islamophobes are using this to their advantage and attacking Muslims within the comfort of their own masjids- a space which is meant to be safe and sacred.
I am a Muslim, and I am proud to be a Muslim. It is unfair that I have to watch my fellow Muslims go through these experiences or even experience them myself just because of our choice of religion.
However, at the end of the day, I am a human as well. I should be able to express my religion openly and proudly. I should be able to walk down the street just like anybody else without the fear of being run over or given weird looks at bus stops or stopped on the sidewalk and having derogatory slurs shouted at me. I should be able to go to the masjid and pray without wondering if someone will try to harm me or my friends mid-prayer. I should know that even before something happens, people will take suspicions seriously and in the case of an actual incident, real change will be made.
No one has a right to demean a religion just because it is something that does line up with your understanding of what is "right." You have no right to degrade someone who chooses to wear the hijab out of modesty, nor do you have the right to walk into the sacred spaces as you please and begin tearing up holy scriptures. You have no right to disturb people while they are praying nor do you have the right to get upset when you are told that what you are doing wrong.
Both I and all Muslims around the world deserve the right to security when it comes to practicing my religion of choice, as does everyone else. It is unfair that only when things like hate crimes and menacing acts increase do people begin to pay attention to the long-standing issue of Islamophobia.
More people need to be aware of what is going on and need to understand that this is wrong. Regardless of whether you are a Muslim or not, neither you nor I should be a victim of such experiences.

Did you read that pro pal protestors were trying to disrupt the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in New York? Really doing their best at making everyone hate them.
I did. I watch multiple people attack police officers that weren’t doing anything aside from trying to keep everyone calm and behind the fences.
I’m baffled at how “respect other people’s right to religion” but that doesn’t count when muslims want to attack Christian celebrations.
When they realized they couldn’t get to the tree, they started to go after other businesses in the vicinity they didn’t like.
As far as I’m concerned - and this includes Canada, Australia, uk, etc - if you aren’t a citizen of our country, and you’re joining in riots and are actively in support of a terrorist group to succeed, you should be deported.
No religion is higher than any other. I think they’re all trash. But the movement that extremism has in Islam is its own special beast. And it’s dangerous.
Many of these people are very open about what they want. The Christmas tree was nothing to them.
I saw a news interview of a man in Canada at one of the protests. The reporter asked him if he wanted Sharia Law in Canada. This is what the man said.
“There WILL be Sharia Law. You don’t have babies. We keep coming over here and having children. Eventually it will be mostly Muslim. And then what? Our faith is priority. It is above country and the queen. I didn’t even pledge. It was your job to make me. I put my hand on the book and they asked me and I didn’t answer. It’s your job to make sure I say yes.”
Western countries need to put their foot down with this shit. There’s a reason we are able to live the comfortable lives with the freedoms we have and it’s because we don’t live in a religious Muslim society.
The fact that Hamas has managed this fraudulent media campaign actually has me worried. Apparently there are students at the rally’s who don’t even realize what Muslim extremism entails because they were born after 9/11 and taught not to question Islam otherwise it’s Islamophobia. There are students who don’t know what the holocaust is. I found out this apparently isn’t mandatory to teach anymore.
It’s bad.

France. Besançon: She takes a selfie without a veil, her husband, a repeat offender, beats her and ends up in jail.
The 23-year-old man appeared in court in Besançon on Wednesday. For days and nights he beat his wife because she had photos taken without a veil hidden in her phone. The judges found him guilty and sentenced him to 18 months in prison.
This is a man who wants to show the court the image of a broken boy. He is sobbing in the dock. He speaks quietly, abruptly and tries to emphasize his "sadness". He denounces "sexual abuse" by his mother and "the religious influence of his wife". “Stop talking like that,” prosecutor Alexandra Chomet decided. You have a different diction when you sell drugs! »
A man already convicted of numerous crimes, the psychiatric examination considers "psychiatrically dangerous" and "asocial". “He has no motivation to work or fit into society.”
