Guys
They built him a whole new radio tower to come home to. They knew his dramatic ass was just off licking his wounds.
Charlie: We should have a nice room ready for Alastor when he gets back!
Lucifer: Ughh, fine. Just put it on the opposite end from me

crowley must have known that aziraphale was also in love with him, he tidied the bookshop, he was planning on taking him to the Ritz after his confession, he had their song queued in the car these are not acts of someone who wasn't sure what the outcome will be.
which makes it so much more painful that he still confessed his love for aziraphale with tears in his eyes and on the verge of a full blown panic attack, he left saying "don't bother" but he still waited by his car til the elevator doors closed. all because

are people seriously not understanding that the whole point of colin's arc this season is him trying to be something he's not??
like sure the brothel scenes are a little weird and jarring but like they're meant to be??? because he's not actually that into it, he's just trying to do what all the other men his age are doing so he can fit in??
the writers aren't trying to 'turn him into anthony or simon' or make him a rake because that's what we're used to - HE'S trying to turn HIMSELF into anthony or simon or basically any of the other guys who this comes naturally to; who enjoy sleeping with lots of different people somewhat emotionlessly and don't get lonely because of it (and no judgement to that it's just not him)
he literally kisses Pen ONCE and absolutely loses his mind over it because its obviously never felt like that for him before. that moment is his 'oh so that's what that's supposed to feel like' moment and that's how he knows he's in love with her its literally so good???
i understand people feel like its rushed but honestly to me it feels perfectly in character for him to discover the solution to his loneliness he's been searching for all this time and immediately dive into it headfirst. that moment right at the end of ep4 where he asks her to marry him is the most authentic colin i think we've seen all season. he's sweet and funny and playful and passionate and impulsive - he's finally stopped trying to be someone he's not and now that he knows who he is and what he wants he's all in.

the wood collective plot line is literally fucking sooo comical. you have Big Salmon(corporation made entirely to irritate doc) and doc (Unspeakable Power of Destructive Machinery not yet available) who are now forced into a Get-Along-Shirt (they Will get their permits revoked if they don’t work together). doc tried his hardest to gain complete control over the wood industry. he’s Now forced to awkwardly do business with the 2 guys he blew up last week. The Most they can do is hurl insults at each other. it makes it even funnier because doc is 10x more powerful then either beef or skizz, but beef and skizz dominate their interactions with combined louder insanity. the wood collectives’ dynamic is like a sitcom set up i swear.

Bright side of the Pens offseason, with or without playoffs?
On a cheery note, thank you Pens Tumblr for making me happy all season long. Thank you for being awesome and rational win or lose. This wasn't a season that we wanted but at least we still have Year 17 of the core and two years at min with them together. Never say never about next year, right? Thank you everyone for keeping me afloat during every game because Twitter is hellscape for the most part this year. 🤩
Hi, anon!
The beauty of fandom is that we're here to support one another! It keeps us sane when the Pens are struggling and multiplies our joy when they're soaring! I appreciate your positivity!
That said, it's not the off-season yet. It really isn't over until it's over. And while I feel better when the Pens are in control of their future, the Habs could yet come through for them and give them one more chance to fix it.
So, bright sides of the off-season?
At the top of the list? So far, they're largely healthy. To the best of our knowledge now, they should (knock on wood or nearest faux approximation thereof) be relatively healthy at the end of the regular season. And if they don't go beyond Game 82, well, it would suck. But it also would mean Bonino has longer to rest that kidney, rather than rushing back. And I like them healthy and happy. I am aware they (hopefully) will have a long life ahead of them after hockey, and I want them to be healthy for it.
We get the occasional photo of Sid in the wild, away from the arena, golfing, traveling or simply hanging with Nate in a Nova Scotia grocery store. (Maybe, if he hasn't yet made the trip totally under the radar, we will get pics of Sid in Scotland.)
We get pictures of Geno flirting with dolphins and other creatures, usually in beautiful locales and with his beautiful family.
We get the knowledge that the guys are off having a life that is theirs, relaxing and regrouping for another push toward the Cup next season. (Because even when they win the Cup, they immediately want another.)
As a fandom, less time spent watching hockey means more time for other things. Baking banana bread. (It'll be safe again). Writing. (I really hope to manage more fun writing this summer.) And exercise. I feel better when I feel healthier and, while I am not drastically out of shape (that I know of), I would like to get back to liking the way I look and feel in my clothes. I'm hoping to work on that this summer.
Also, just because hockey may disappear for the off-season doesn't mean fandom does. It may get quieter, but even that isn't a requirement. We still can be active and supportive of one another as we wait patiently for our guys to return from the wild and step on to the ice again come September.
