as a certified soft, gentle, calm person I just love so much that characters such as Cash exist because everytime I see him on the screen, he just resonates such gentleness, like he is shy and socially awkward sometimes and he cares about people and just lets them be and he falls in love and lets it happen even though it probably scares him and HE HAS A PET DUCK because he just wanted to save ONE so he did. Like I don't know why, can't put my finger on WHY exactly but it's just always immediatly clear to me that this is someone soft, with a gentle soul, like this is a sweet person, someone who is sensitive because they just are and they lean into it. Spider-Man: I do wanna be clear that this isn’t a threat, okay? I’m still not interested in crossing the line, which brings me to my point.

Spider-Man: *throws the titanium rose at the brick wall behind him, stem first, and embeds it all the way through*

Spider-Man: /That/ was restrained because I could focus enough to have full control. If I’m extremely tired or otherwise distracted, there’s just as much risk of me slipping up as someone operating heavy machinery. I’m probably not going to remember what sleep is for two whole months, so remember!

I think it’s funny how, before I knew about Edgeworth’s note, I would see art on Tumblr that I felt like was trying to convince me that Miles was dead. I knew he wasn’t. I knew he didn’t die because I had seen Edgeworth’s Chief Prosecutor sprite on his wiki page. However, I started feeling like Tumblr was trying to gaslight me into believing he was dead because there would be art of Phoenix or Franziska just crying over Miles being gone, and y’know what? Good on Tumblr for giving me a bit of the Phoenix Wright Experience (TM) in believing this man wasn’t alive anymore.

everyone keeps making fun of phoenix wright for interogating a parrot but no one ever talks about how von karma somehow had the foresight to fucking retrain the parrot in advance. how fucking crazy is that. its one thing for phoenix to grasp at straws and ask the judge to cross examine a parrot in the heat of the moment, its another thing for a grown ass accomplished prosecutor to stop in the middle of schemeing to be like... hmm i have tampered with all the witnesses now... but let me just retrain this parrot in case wright calls it to the stand. like, he had NO reason to assume that was going to happpen

hmm... had to think about this for a while and talk about it with co-author, but here's what we got. we mostly base this stuff on how plausible it is in show/if there's evidence for it. with a dash of personal experience. This only applies to residuum, btw. I have different personal headcanons for these characters outside the comic.

april: lesbian. this is mostly based off of the fact that most aprils get with their caseys & the comment she said to dale. which could be taken as disinterest in dale specifically, but she seemed more concerned with impressing that popular girl earlier and that reads as more... saphic, i suppose. or at the very least homoromantic.

raph: raph is just raph. we look at him and basically just *tv static*. go crazy. all we got is jokes or stuff that has too little evidence to support. so, yeah, he's whatever you want him to be i guess?

leo: trans. already said my reason in the other post. also, gay. if gay were a power source he could power the entirety of the united states for five months straight without a single power outage. failing power grid notwithstanding (< thats the actual word. its supposed to be mushed together like that. wack.).

donnie: as much as i'd like him to be ace/aro spectrum rep, he just doesn't have the evidence in show for us to apply it to him in this comic. it's funny, for being hc as ace so often he sure is the most outwardly romantic/sexual turtle in the show lmao. one! cherry: "you're so cute, but you're so mean! why do i always go for your type?" two! astrogirl??
