i really love the spock vs q audio cd/event that was made in 1999 and really want to do a fan fic of two or three parts, im terrible with writing though. the first being picard taking spock to the guardian of forever and talking with him about how best to handle Q for this mission (which i like to interpret spock actually referencing in their back and forth at one point)

and the second part being after the spock vs q: the sequel, where Q, extremely impressed with just how much his interactions with spock have impacted him, nudges spock in the right direction on where to find kirk (aka in the nexus). after all, it's revealed in the q-zone/q-space/q-strike novels that Q is the one who made the nexus (as a one off toy he made as a very young Q and forgot about instantly after rubber banding it into space), even if he doesn't throw spock into the nexus himself the least he can say is "check INSIDE that thing, you might find a surprise ;)" and that being how kirk is rescued and brought back into the real world (or spock going into the nexus where they spend the rest of their happy, infinite days together)

if you havent heard what i'm talking about, you can find a special teaser made for it below, i highly recommend seeing it, it's got one of my favorite parts of the entire hour long event :) spock is such a little gremlin and i love it

Crying laughing rn because of my mam. I have to share this experience with you guys

For context- my mam HATES omega sm. Like- she's actually got a vendetta against this little girl. We watched the show together and everytime she spoke my mam sighed. She CONSTANTLY curses her out. She HATES omega.

But she LOVES Tech. Loves him sm. She says she's "got a lot of time for him." And always likes the memes about him I send her. He's her favourite aside from Wrecker, she even went as far to COMPLIMENT his jeans. She called him stylish(she used the word "sexy" which had me actually rolling)

And for Christmas this year I got them both as Black Series. Cried with joy. Couldn't contain my happiness and jumped around for like an hour. I was OVER THE MOON.

I obviously showed my mother these two little lads spending time together, after I had very carefully unboxed them and set them up.

Her reaction? She pushed Omega off the table and said "how does it feel???" To which I was like "eh?? Why'd you do that? :(" and my mother, very seriously and VERY angrily, responded with:

"She's the CUNT features that killed him."

I was FLABBERGASTED. Shocked and appalled. She went on to complain about how Omega had caused Tech's "death" in VIVID detail and I was genuinely floored. She told me she was gonna burn Omega when I wasn't watching.

She then turned around and was all nice and sweet to Tech. Complimented his helmet and design and only complained because he didn't have his datapad("he might as well be HUNTER. you have to call someone about that" - my mother)

I still haven't stopped laughing at it

Yes, Greece still exists, we didn't all die 2000 years ago. Yes, people speak Greek. You people are so fucking stupid for real. So many of you claim to love ancient shit but can't even acknowledge the actual living culture of the people whose mythology and classics you romanticize.
