So, I saw your Puzzlevision Jr. AU and I can say that he's so adorable! What is his story in the Puzzlevision Jr. AU?

Puzzlevison Junior! Full Lore! CW; Spoilers!

Mr. Puzzles never grew out of Children's TV shows, but accidentally seeing a violent one scared him. That show was why he felt he should cut off his head and put a TV there. He's less violent, nicer, and probably acts more childish. Probably has better intentions, making the world a better place and safer for children of all ages! The shows he'd make the cast would be more story-book, cookie-cutter, happy, and less violent. In the movie, when he realizes Mario has run away, he tries to get him to come back in the nicest way possible, but Mario is really upset with the fact he took his TV time. He'd get his face smashed in, as he realized later he had to let chaos run amok in his channels to actually get good ratings, probably cried (as he didn't want it to be scary). But in the end, he did. Mr. Puzzles would politely try and put them in different shows but get startled when they started being violent in them. When he got the Five Stars, he immediately removed all the scary TV shows, leaving only his channel. The set would be more happy and colorful, think Sesame Street Elmo's World When Mario ruined it, though, he almost began to cry, but he kept his cool and told Mario to "Go into the corner and count to 1000" with a fake parent-like tone. When the cast break out and make their own show, he'd get really upset and whiney, starting to cry as he threw another fit, slamming his foot down over and over as he simply began to complain. In the fight, he'd be dodging the others, trying to be more defensive and he'd try not to hurt anybody. When they get five and a half stars, he'd lose his powers. He'd begin to apologize and cry, mostly about the castle. He "didn't mean for all the bad to happen" and he "promises he'll be good this time." (Note, I'm on the edge of him being redeemed or he just gets kicked away like in the movie.)

All the Movies!

IT'S GOTTA BE PERFECT - Something went wrong. SMG4 was making the best video ever, and the TV had to help him! It's only the nice thing to do! The keyboard would be more pastel, but still, meaty themes that he mostly tried to hide. The meat went awry, and the rest of the movie went normally.

Western Spaghetti - A more cartoony and happy version of a Western place. One-Shot Wren tries to be as evil as the place allows him to be. His downfall was the fact that the world limited his powers, and Meggy was only "knocked out" every time that she should have been killed.

WOTFI 2023 - Mr. Puzzles expected a nice happy lesson about how stealing is wrong, but it went wrong. The episode is the same.

In the end, he looked nervous as he sat down, clutching his knees. He then says "I promise children, next time, it'll be different... Next time will be better."

All the Episodes!

Mario's Mysteries - It's basically the same, except there are no violent themes. Why would there be? Kids shows don't have those! The only time that there are any "adult themes" is when the programming breaks in the TV Time song, in which Mr. Puzzles looks very distressed and worried, though he changes the topic to The Bee Movie. The pipebomb reward was replaced with a kazoo! The Bloo-Skido part was a playground instead, and the rocket launcher was a party popper. When they find out Mario ate the spaghetti, there is a flash of anger in SMG4's eyes, which quickly is replaced with playful cheeriness as the episode ends with SMG4 promising more spaghetti for him.

Once Upon an SMG4 - Practically the same, except for the fact that there is less being mean to the animals. The motives for money are changed to healing the sick animals because we want a good message after all! The SMG4 Witch is less scary, of course, because he doesn't want to scare small children. More cartoony too. The scene where Smg3 meets the fairy godmother goes more like this- The animals still mess up the dress, but while Smg3's eye twitches, he tells the animals they tried their best. Mr. Puzzles comes in with pastel fairy wings and a crown, of course with a tutu. "Hello, dear princess! I'm the fairy godmother and- What in the world are you wearing?" (He sounds more concerned and worried.)

Scooby Mario, Where'd You Go? - Practically the same, doesn't really change much. The robots are less spooky and the atmosphere is colorful. Instead of going to prison for breaking an animatronic, Bob comes out of the bathroom and asks what he missed. Turns out he was in there the whole time! They then get the pizza as the camera moves out, the show having a happier ending!

Mr. Puzzles' Incredible Game Show Spectacular! - Pastel colors! Yay! He doesn't get mad, he gets sad and overwhelmed. Instead of screaming "IN A MINUTE" with a scary face, he simply looks upset with wide eyes. Exasperated, I suppose it's called. He tries to negate fighting, trying to help them settle their differences and try and make up with reasons like "You should always be nice to your friends" and such. Mario ruins everything and Mr. Puzzles has a temper tantrum. It's less "trying to kill everybody" and more "go away! :(" He doesn't actively try to hurt anybody, and the cage he uses for Mario is just a cardboard box. The audience is plushies.

Can I ask? And you’ve probably answered this before but…

As a person who doesn’t believe this is a real relationship, what is the reason you believe both parties entered into the relationship and committed to the point which they have?

I personally believe that the relationships isn’t exactly pure but I wouldn’t go as far to say I can believe in contracts and all that. But that doesn't mean I don’t believe there could be some sort of agreement. On CE’s behalf I don’t truly don’t think it would be career motivated more so a way to protect something in his personal life.

What are your thoughts? I’m genuinely curious about what people think. (Most of the time people are just fighting about who is right around here and it’s hard to know what the actual thought out theories are)

I mean, I can only guess since I have zero knowledge about anything.

I think for Chris, it was probably about getting roles, money, and the way people perceive him. Maybe he didn't even need to audition for those two roles he has; maybe we will see him in different genres or in more serious roles and projects. Maybe his salary in these movies will be higher than anticipated. He was always talking about wanting to get married, etc., and after years of talking about these, people started saying that he was simply lying and probably enjoyed not being committed to someone. This obviously changed after he got "married."

I think the reasons are more clear for Alba; it's about getting roles and becoming the next IT girl. Or it was. The fact that her name is connected to Chris could be a huge boost for her career if she were a good actress and someone who was willing to work. She doesn't seem to be either. I think she thought she would simply get more roles offered without needing to do anything. It doesn't work like that, however, and I think she realized that. Maybe she is trying to get roles in America, but she doesn't seem to be successful.

These things wouldn't be a problem; celebrities get into and out of PR relationships every day; it's a common thing there. It's about her age, but more about her personality. Why her, though, you might ask? Who knows. I think the fact that Lucas Bravo, her ex-something, is with Narrative PR and Chris is also with them has to do something with the situation.

I obviously don't know anything for sure; maybe there are more things; maybe I'm wrong and it's about something else. These are just a few thoughts I have.

To be honest with my reread being fresh i'd say dragon ball doesnt even really get good until after the first tournament arc. Like yeah goku vs "jackie" is a good fight but the rest of the tournament is stuff like "the one woman in the tournament is a deceptive seductress who cant actually fight, just flirts and strips her way to victory because women, amiright," "racist sterotype character whose problem is solved in a really dumb way" "stinky gross man," etc.

For all Cypher’s worth, he’s probably rich af. Like no joke, this man is LOAADED. "He carefully plucks the egg from the gift pile, wrapping it in spare fabric and tucking it away inside a small wooden box within his backpack for safety. Not really wanting to stick around and get accidentally pulled into scary underground tunnels or something, he shakily bids the Well Creature farewell, and continues on through the forest, just following whatever he can find that looks vaguely like a path.. He makes an occasional stop to pick up a cool rock, harvest berries, or let the cat play in the grass, but mostly just wanders aimlessly, lost in daydreams and contemplations of how his New Fun Life Of Spontaneous Adventure is going so far......

Eventually, the forest tapers off into a more open area of land, hosting what seems like a humble little village. By this point, it's nearly nightfall, which reminds him that he's actually quite afraid of the dark, so he scrambles about town for a moment until finally finding the local Inn. I think it's mad suspicious that people are quick to jump to believing Daigo is definitely only or very into women based on him being a cabaret club once onscreen, and that Mine is definitely into women because his secretary. Never mind one of these characters had an onscreen love confession about the other man because they don't even want to acknowledge it as something that was 100% romantic. Idk HOW so many insecure men started stapling themselves to Mine (oh it's probably the sigma grindset) but here we are I guess 💀 People can see things how they want, but... there's some braindead Reddit posts/threads about both of them on this topic.

My favorite moment was when one guy started projecting onto Mine saying he only dates supermodels 😭 Mans had a whole ass speech about hating fakeness, feeling unfulfilled and uninterested in the wealthy life of money and women, and longed for a genuine relationship. All of that? I don't know her.

they could have had mine and daigo make out for 5 minutes straight on screen in 4k and there would still be people arguing either of them were straight. but for a Real Talk and rambling moment look below the cut 🥴

i think the funniest bit about people saying mine's straight is when they reference the line where he says he could have any woman with all the money he collected- but that line like. is Immediately followed up by him saying he wasnt happy that way and judging by the rest of his speech, we can deduce he was just doing what he assumed would make him happy based on societal norms of having money, power, and women.

and theres nothing bad about saying mine's slept with women btw- i wouldnt turn the idea away, esp if you wanna consider it as comphet behavior. but even despite all that, it's really hard to say that mine didn't love daigo romantically when in official rgg guides and rggo stories it was stated one way or another that mine explicitly fell in love with daigo, the phrase being used only ever associated either with romantic feelings or immense adoration that you probably wouldn't use for a typical friend

also the bit about mine and his secretary is so funny cause i remember my friend- who didnt know a thing about rgg- was making me a mine amv as part of an art trade and when they saw him and katase they automatically assumed they were A Thing so i think its just instinctive heteronormativity: if man and woman on screen surely theyre together 🥴

with daigo it's so like. 🤷‍♀️ rgg's inability to have a woman on screen for more than five minutes without her dying kills them in shit like this cause aside from that cabaret scene where daigo's at his lowest and very-easily resorting to hedonistic practices to numb his pain, we never see him with another woman or even mention another woman. if you wanna add more to it, during an rggo story mine finds the concept of daigo spending the night with a woman instantly suspicious (for context, daigo was actually kidnapped and just lied to a bodyguard he was with a woman), suggesting that daigo isn't really known to do as such to people who really know him.

i forever live by the joke hc that he only ever hired hostesses just so he could vent and they contractually had to deal with him LMAO

The idea of 'The Sovereign' and this storyline in Wonder Woman by Tom King reminds me of Hydra Captain America and the Secret Empire by Nick Spencer.

#wonder woman #i didn't want to discuss this but the sovereign really makes me angry in just how lazy he is as a character #and this whole idea of a 'secret king' running America #reeks the same as 'what if Captain America was a Hydra agent all along' #not only does the conspiracy that's been created upend a lot of what's already been established in WW lore #but this is also just a lazy kind of character creation that just takes everything Diana is and makes it opposite #the Sovereign or is he a Bizarro Wonder Woman? #like Superman and Lex aren't wholly opposites their goals are the same it's their motivation that's different #Lex 'helps' because he wants to look good and get praise and money he does good for selfish reasons #meanwhile Superman does good because it's the right thing to do #the sovereign looks and feels shallow #it's trying hard to be edgy but it's cringe i mean 'lasso of lies'? #it feels like it's gonna be revealed that there wasn't ever going to be a history where the sovereign and his ilk ruled America #but someone gave this man the lasso of lies and he created his new reality off the old one LIKE when Cap was rewritten to be Hydra #and we know he gets locked up so what is the actual stakes in this story we know he gets defeated #so what makes this story important? #like wonder woman earth one did this whole arc better and the main villain being max lord aka ares made more sense #the first 6 or so issues should have been on working towards unraveling amazonian influence and power in America because a group of men #see them as a threat to American superiority if this is the direction you want to go in #snapping your fingers and fastfowarding for a first issue is not the in media res you think it is #im ranting but ww has been one of mh fav series the past few years and now #for the first time in a long time #i have to not read it because this whole storyline sucks #dc comics #i can't wait for whoever comes next to undo what's happening now because if there's one consistent thing about WW is she will be reinvented

I never got far with My Hero, I was only at like the beginning of the Overhaul arc, so I can only judge Endeavor based on everything up till then (I heard he might have improved somewhat later on?), but again, it’s just Dark Choco being like “are you two okay??”. Especially since like, these two are teenagers while he is an adult

ALSO IRT THE MOVIES LORE BEING DIFFERENT LIKE. idk how ppl are looking at a different canon as a bad thing rather than an opportunity to gather new information, like "what would this character do if xyz had happened" tells you so much stuff about that character !! for instance we can use mike's relationship with abby in this movie as a jumping off point to explore more about what michael afton wouldve done had elizabeth not died too, after directly causing his brother's death would he become more protective of elizabeth? would he push her away thinking himself to be the danger? or another one, another post pointed out that for game afton the springlocks failing is fast and complete, he has 0 choice how well he's locked in there and he essentially stumbles into possessing it, whereas for movie afton the springlocks are slow, he has time to think through his last act and specifically chooses to lock himself in there as hard as possible so he can come back, would game afton have done the same if his springlock failure was more like that? or would he have just died anyways and theres something about movie afton that makes him choose different, and if so what is that? and ESPECIALLY vanessa are you kidding?? idk abt yall, i personally was not pondering what the childhood of a vanessa raised by william afton wouldve looked like before the movie, but i sure am now. like how is that not super fun
