Actually the implications of John also being bisexual are so fucking tasty to me because like. OG John has no support system and no protection against the world except his own perceived strength so he learns to ferret out anything that can possibly be seen as weakness to those around him and that includes any affection or attraction he might feel towards men because nothing screams "stay in your fucking closet" like spending all your time around a fringe subculture of serial killing doomsday preppers in the Midwest during the Reagan era.
By the time he notices Dean starting to look a little too long at boys his age, he's probably convinced himself that whatever he felt (still feels but ignores) was a temporary youthful indiscretion, and of course Dean can't afford those, doesn't get to have those, he's got to be a soldier. He's got to be a better soldier than John, even.
I dunno I've just had enough conversations with family members who are loudly but somehow also mildly homophobic and yet say or do things that make me *eyeballs emoji* not to think this is not only possible but arguably likely.

What if amity park was Gotham
So amity park happened decades ago and amity park is known as a ghost town because of all it's ghost sightings
One day a billionaire bought the property of amity park, bulldosed all the old houses and started to build a city on it
However amity park is still dannys haunt, he's been there for decades and will not leave his home, he still feels the need to protect his home from the assholes destroying it
But he doesn't want to hurt anyone so he keeps sending signs and signals that their not welcome but anytime someone brings it up their fired and replaced by the billionaire
After the construction is done Danny dosen't know how to feel about it, it's not his home, these people destroyed his home and are now disrespecting it more and more but he doesn't want to hurt anyone so he just keeps sending signals telling them to leave but once again there ignored
This continues for centuries with Danny (his need to protect his home is now overriding the dislike of hurting people) getting more and more violent and nasty to the people invading his haunt
It gets worse and worse, Gotham gets polluted, crime rates go up, the poverty line increases just all around getting worse and worse
But no ones leaving
So Danny keeps getting more and more hostile towards the residents of Gotham because this is his home not theirs
The rogues happen because they were subconsciously inspired by the rogues Danny used to fight and his memories bleed into their subconscious, that's why they all share some resemblance to ghosts he knows ;frostbite and Dr.freeze/ poisen Ivy and overgrowth/ freak show and joker ect:;
So the reason Gotham is so corrupted is because it was build on dannys haunt and he just wants them gone
The neighbourhood Jason grew up in is so bad because that's dannys neighbourhood and he keeps trying to force them away.
The only reason Danny tolerates Batman is because he reminds Danny of when he was protecting his home as phantom

henry telling joel the story of how he informed fedra about the leader of the resistance so he could get the medicine he needed to save sam, and seeing joel's entire face and demeanour change as he starts to understand who henry is and how similar they both are. joel initially not trusting henry because he's a rat, but once the full context is given to him, he tells henry it's not fair on him for so many people to want him dead for what he did. joel not questioning why henry would betray so many people for his brother, because he knows he would do exactly the same thing in his place. henry DIRECTLY making joel ask himself the question "what is more important: the world, or the one person you love? your honour, or your family? when it comes down to it, how many people will you hurt to make sure she's safe?", and you can just see that joel immediately knows the answer.

Okay, before it falls out of my head. Someone on my timeline tagged a Sam post with stuff about how Sam mimes rebellion to cover up how much he wants (and fails) to fit in.
And there's this exchange between Anael/Sister Jo and Lucifer in 13x13:
///
///
Despite lipservice to the idea of rebellion, Lucifer wants to fit, too.

did you see the statement against Majo- Ellen's actor, it's...a lot to take in
https://x.com/artistz93/status/1724168049480085988?s=46
i contemplated not posting this, but I know there's only so many other blogs that'd do so.
I am disgusted and appalled by the behavior shown in these screenshots. It is incredibly frustrating to see yet another individual come out of that sphere of people and be horrid. I was already familiar with the depravity of Yuki, and the quiet allegations posed against them.
I do not have my own experience along the same lines (much less with a creator) but I do believe that bringing some of this information to enforcement might be for the best. I understand that this is easier said than done, due to either online anonymity, family, etc., and as such respect and understand the lack of involvement with law enforcement.
I'm so fucking sorry to any of the people who had been affected by Ellen, and I hope that you guys can find some sense of closure from this. Out of my own experience with his lack of maturity and inability to reasonably approach these matters, I would like to say to any of the parties involved that I would not recommend bringing this to Sam.
While I am not saying he would support these actions, I am willing to assume he likely would not care, nor is there any responsibility he could really claim, outside of giving Ellen (and Yuki) the means to start a platform.
really fucking shitty way to end the night. fuck Ellen, Yuki, and Sam
How I will go forward with YHS:
I have taken a break from posting about Ellen, as both he and Yuki truly do not deserve any sort of positive affirmations regarding their past work. While I'm not sure how long this break will proceed for, any further communications involving their fictionalized characters will likely be altered, and I'll likely change aspects of their characters.
I'm not the most active or frequent when it comes to commentary and fan content involving YHS, due to quite obvious reasons. However, it's still something in the back of my brain and something I don't intend on straying far from with my fan creations. For better or worse, it shaped a part of me. Quite frankly, in ways it never should've.
EDIT: I did not feel satisfied with this my original posts as my thoughts were generally disorganized due to the fact I was beginning finales at the time this situation was brought forward to me.
I also broke it up into how I will be going forward with their characters, and my message to anyone involved as I do not want to make this about me. It is not. It's about the gross behavior displayed, and I hope that everyone involved in these situations are able to move forward.

Irks me a little bit whenever Dean torturing in Hell is positioned as his own fault, or even really his choice to do. We get given the solid number, 30 years of torture for him and 10 inflicting it on other people (which was also more torture for him because it’s Hell, the torture evolves, it doesn’t stop), and we get told that wasn’t long enough. That John held out longer. That angels were going to pull Dean out of Hell and if he’d just held on a few years more, the seal wouldn’t have been broken.
But that isn’t true, right? We know Heaven wanted the seal broken, ergo Dean wasn’t getting saved until it was. Until it, and he, we’re thoroughly broken and usable by Heaven to achieve their own ends (ie to make him into a good (obedient) Michael sword.) So, it wouldn’t have mattered how long he held out in Apocalyptic terms because the game (that he didn’t know he was playing) was rigged against him.
But more importantly for Dean, the amount of time he managed not to break literally does not matter. Because it was never going to be long enough. Thirty years, forty, a hundred, a thousand, it does not matter how long he held out because the breaking itself is the unforgivable part to him and the breaking was always inevitable.
Anyway. There’s my Dean meta for the year. Eat up, I guess.

The way Dean said he was thinking of going on a drive "just me and baby" and Sam was like alright, let me pack my stuff :))))) Like... girl.... Dean literally had to be like erm.... no I was actually thinking more.... one on one time with mum... before Sam got the picture and was like alright now I know something is REALLY wrong. And he was right. He called Mary few hours later and was like idk maybe I should come over too and Mary was like yeah something's wrong but just let me talk to him dont come out just yet. Cut to Sam putting the phone down, already in the car, starts driving faster.

this is deeply incoherent and meta but i really feel like the way fandom treats john is incredibly karmically appropriate. like, if john could somehow see the ways he’s so commonly misinterpreted as a straight up villain and used in fanfic as the convenient whumper/bad guy he’d be so horrified that his treatment of his sons lead to that impression. john in canon is abusive but he’s also complex, and he wouldn’t do a solid 90% of the things fandom happily depicts him doing. so if he could see that, if he could see all the awful things these strangers think he’s capable of, i think he’d know it was his own fault people were making those assumptions. and that’s exactly what he deserves
anyway john winchester’s hell was the “john winchester’s a+ parenting” ao3 tag and the reason he never broke and stopped his own punishment was cause he knew he deserved it
