Do I have the emotional and mental capacity for it? Am I pain-free enough for it? Can I focus on it? Can I do it without leaving my bed? Can I safely do it without risk of (physically or emotionally) injuring myself by pushing past my boundaries?

I’m back! with a new url!

it’s taken me a couple weeks to come to terms with not passing my NAVLE. but that’s okay, because I’m back to studying and I WILL pass the exam when I take it again in april. until then, i felt like i needed to change the url here on my personal blog. having a url with the word ‘doctor’ in it before i pass my NAVLE didn’t feel right, and i want to save the url until i get that ‘PASS’ on my NAVLE. so for now, i thought a lil change would be fun here. and since I’m reliving my ‘carry on’ obsession, and since i’ve added the name ‘baz’ to my names here on tumblr because i felt like it suited me, i thought let’s have some fun with a new url! so here for my baz-era (and my pyromania and vampire aesthetic), I introduce my new personal sideblog url @vampirebazpitch ❤️‍🔥

Something that horrifies me is that I keep seeing people who claim they support neurodivergent people and at the same time openly advocate for “erasing” people with Down syndrome. If “Let’s fight for a world without autism” makes you upset, if you can see how wrong it would be if people said “No autistic baby is a wanted baby - parents deserve better”, if “Not giving birth to autistics will save money and vulnerable resources” sounds like a horrifying take to you, then I really hope you keep that energy when people say those things about people with Down syndrome.

You don’t get to pick and choose which people with brain-based disabilities are worthy of human rights.
