Starting with ZEX nad DAX! I moved them in by themselves first and had them fall in love and, forgot, to take any screenshots of it lol oops. They are In Love, but not committed :) I’m also really silly-pleased with how they turned out haha, using Zarla’s VUX retextures as well as these red horns and Namekian antennae haha - anything to make them just a little more alien!

Moved the Captain in and he immediately rolled a Want to flirt with ZEX lol. You’re so judgey Captain not like I intentionally made it so he and ZEX would be attracted to each other but not so much him and DAX cough

Adonis picks something up off the shelf.

I: Oh wait. Check to make sure it's not sugar free, i can't have a lot of types of artificial sweeteners.

A: How do I check?

I: It's usually written on the box? Look for something that says 'sugar free' or 'artificially sweetened.'

Adonis holds the box up and examines it closely before looking back up at her.

A: I can't read.

I: Ah.

#Hes an acomplished sculptor and widely beloved performer/strong man. He does a lot of security work #And hes still 6 years old and has had very little opportunity to learn how to read #Like this would still be in the time period everyone is calling him 'Stones' because they have no way of finding out his name #he cant talk or spell or read #Adonis isnt exactly a common name thats going to show up on lists #so even though its an A name just reading off a baby naming book until they find it isn't going to work #They're lucky one of the acrobats knew sign because her sisters deaf and could start teaching him the very basics needed #for him to communicate more than 'yes' and 'no'#and that Ione is a quick learner and got touch signing down so that the two of them could chat too #People are a Lot less weird about her when shes got someone with her and the sorta Assumptions people tend to make #when its her and Adonis together specifically #Like it goes from 'Oh shit the giant snake woman who can turn living flesh to stone with just a look is coming this way'#to 'oh hey shes got a stone statue guy with her and they're obviously close and hes opening the door for her and #warning her of the obstacles she cant see because of her blindfold. Thats actually kinda cute'#tbh the joke is the absurdity of a medusa and a stone statue having this conversation in a piggly wiggly or somethin.

FFXIVWrite2023 Prompt 18: A Fish out of Water

Another late prompt =_= Crossover hell? Crossover hell. Dion is used to dancing with people who were taller than him. He's proven time and time again that he can easily lead Terence in a dance.

Raven however, was over seven fulms in her heels and towered over him.

Raven could hear their respective partners snickering as she looked down at her dance partner. She had invited both Dion and Terence to her castle to have them teach her the steps to an old Sanbrequios dance that every noble was expected to know. Of course she was expected to dance with Dion, but both of them soon realized just how much of a fish out of water they both were.

For starters, Raven was well over seven fulms in heels, and had worn them to make sure she could do the steps in them. Dion was a rather tall man, standing at almost 6 fulms without his heels, but even then she knew this was much.

"Dion if you want I can ask Terence to-" Raven started.

"No no, it will be alright. After all we are expected to dance together. I will teach you." Dion assured, though Raven could see this would be interesting to say the least.

“Trust me Lady Raven, once he’s set himself to something he will see it through.” Terence called with a chuckle from the corner he and Haurchefant were settled in and watching with anticipated smiles.

"If you’re sure. But please know that it's okay if you can't. I'm just too freakishly tall." She replied sheepishly, looking away with a frown.

He squeezed the taloned hand he was holding. "Enough of that. I will not have you be so cruel to yourself. Now for this dance, it's relatively simple in steps..."

With that he placed his hand at her waist and led in a simple three step dance, trying to watch her feet to ensure she didn’t step on his boots.

“You may be tall but try to keep your eyes up my lady. And relax. Pretend I’m Haurchefant if you must.” Dion gently chided with a chuckle.

“Hard to do considering you’re a full fulm shorter than I am Your Highness.” She teased, giggling when it earned her an unimpressed look from the handsome blonde. “Sorry, sorry, that wasn’t nice.”

She had been getting it until she rolled her ankle, sending them both tumbling to the floor with a shout. “Eep!! Damnit!”

Both Terence and Haurchefant jumped at them falling and moved to help them up.

"And the clumsy idiot strikes again. Are you alright Dion?" Raven asked as Haurchefant checked to make sure she didn't accidentally sprain her ankle in the tumble.

"I will be fine. You learn quickly, oath sister." He replied with a small smile. "I have no doubt you will get the steps in time."

Raven hugged her knees and hid her face. She felt like an idiot. Haurchefant squeezed her close as Dion gave a huff before standing.

“Are you well enough to try again?” He asked.

She looked up at him. “You’re not embarrassed by my fumbling?”

“Of course not. I remember when I was young and had to learn these steps myself. There were many a time I stepped on toes and caused my own tumbles.” Dion assured, a fond smile crossing his face as he remembered several instances he and Terence had been practicing together, including when Terence had decided to wear his greaves because Dion stepped on his feet a few times too many.

She gave a tiny smile. “I’ll be okay.”

“Then let’s try again.” He replied as he offered his hand.
