the sandra lynn / fig conversation is driving me Insane. fig saying that sometimes she doesn’t wanna exist as herself at all…not wanting to ask her friends how they see her (because she’s afraid to hear their response) saying that to someone she is a monster and she Cannot stop thinking about it. sandra lynn starting the conversation saying she needs to step up but is also simultaneously taken aback about what fig expresses and doesn’t know how to responds to it and suggests getting ice cream. sandra lynn saying “convincing people they deserve good things is really tough” talking about herself but how it also reflects fig. insane!!

Theres something about things that were created to look like people asking their creators for permission to do something and their creators being like “you never needed to ask me” with all of this love in their voice aaaaaaaa it just gets to me

when i see this pic all i see is mike giving one of his leader (Heart) of the group monologues, them having their little "one for all and all for one" moment and then it cuts to a flashback of the boys in s1 in the same position...

Elvis on stage: the death threats
“These people paid good money to see me perform and I’m not going to disappoint them… most of all, I’m not going to let some sick sonofabitch scare me off the stage” - Elvis Presley
In 1971, Elvis had just begun his engagement at the Hilton in Las Vegas when word of a death threat reached the group
An anonymous caller had informed Joanie Esposito, wife of Joe Esposito, that a man was driving to Las Vegas with the intention of shooting Elvis on stage. The anonymous caller said he had the name of the man along with the license plate of the vehicle, for this information the caller demanded $50,000
Joe Esposito promptly contacted the FBI, which put a listening device on Joanie's phone in case any further calls were made. They also had agents inspect the Hilton and take residence nearby. And Joe, not wanting to create any false panic, managed to keep this threat hidden from Elvis until it became too clear to conceal
Someone had placed a hotel menu with a portrait of Elvis on the cover in Elvis' personal mailbox (meaning the culprit was inside the hotel). The threat became very real when they discovered Elvis' face was scratched out and a gun was drawn that was pointing to his heart, with the words “Guess who?” and “Where?”. More FBI agents were dispatched to the location, as was the Secret Service, along with a medical team that had an ambulance equipped with bags of Elvis' blood type. Despite this, Elvis refused to cancel the performance ️
“Before going on stage, Elvis called Priscilla and Lisa in Los Angeles. He didn’t tell them what was going on but just that he was thinking of them and wanted them to know he loved them. He spent some time alone with Vernon, and then went on stage, not knowing how he would come off…”

LEAVES ON A VINE AS ZUKO COMFORTS IROH OVER LU TEN EVERYONE SHUT UPPPP
yes the avatar live action has committed grevious character assassination. but is there any doubt about the young boy who offers stiff and empty platitudes, awkwardly trailing after his father, stands amongst unfeeling warmongers who only know of grief as an abstract liability—who turns back and presses that little medal into his uncle’s palm, the man he hasn’t seen in 600 days, and says, “lu ten was strong, and now lu ten is gone.” doesn’t wax poetic about honor, but acknowledges what no one else will: a tragedy has occurred, and to conceive of a military hero, a son first must have died. zuko tells his uncle, “your son was strong in battle, but outside, he was kind. he made time for fourteen year old princes who often doubt their place in such an unforgivingly militant nation.” zuko sits next to iroh and says, “you do not need to celebrate. you can grieve. and i will be here.”
is there any doubt about who he is? because that scene says so much more than exposition-crowded dialogue every could. that’s fundamentally zuko to me

Themed my home screen after Tomcat Disposables. Made my own custom icons n stuff as seen in the taskbar
the wallpaper moves btw. It's the ending scene to the music video after he falls.
Defo my favourite song out of icimi. Absolute masterpiece.
Also, if there's anyone else who wants to theme their home screen off ww or wwatt songs and want a small few custom icons to match. Litterally just send me an ask or reblog with images of what aesthetic to base them off of and I'll make em. It was strangely fun to do

thinking about the knot in billy’s stomach when he first sees the welcome to hawkins sign. his knuckles turning white as he grips the steering wheel that little bit harder.
thinking about billy knowing he has to go to a new school. where no one knows him. and he knows no one. him fidgeting with his ring as the anxiety starts to creep in.
thinking about the first night after the move. neil telling billy to unpack before going to his own room. no goodnight, just a cold look and a have this sorted by tomorrow.
the or else goes unsaid.
thinking about billy sitting on his bed. new house completely silent after everyone’s gone to sleep.
thinking about billy looking around the new bedroom. bare. cold. not his.
and not only does he feel overwhelmingly homesick.
but he’s also trapped. with neil. with neil’s little ‘family’.
he feels helpless. and he feels small.
and then it hits him.
and he can’t control himself anymore.
and the boxes around his room turn blurry as the tears start to fall.
