Train Guys in Worm: Presuming all the train passengers Could Trigger, and presuming that their crossroads moment either IS or is CLOSE TO their Trigger, what powers do you think they'd get?

oh damn i guess there is train/worm crossover! win for me (guy who was obsessed w/ train right before i got Into into worm).

obligatory disclaimer: these are all just what i think are The Coolest Options, not firmly set in one universe or the other. just roll with any discrepancies/take them as they are. this is gonna be long, and i'm not in the mood to concept-edit for internal logic.

tulip: too much of a support system, not at enough of a low, can't trigger

lake: escaped case 53. brute 5, thinker 3 - made entirely of an unknown highly-reflective metal. exceedingly high breaking and melting points. weighs approx. 1,000 pounds. is only about as strong as an athletic 13yo girl, but, like...if that athletic 13yo girl couldn't feel pain or physical exertion and was also capable of throwing 1,000 lbs of body weight around. running on "has enough adrenaline to lift a car off a trapped family member" physical capability 24/7. doesn't need to eat, drink, or breathe. - unconscious minor precog presenting itself as particularly strong mental impulses towards decisionmaking which minimizes the chances of harm coming to her. this functions largely as a defensive combat thinking ability--if she could climb up that nearby pipe to dodge containment foam and then land an elbow slam from it, she's gonna get the idea to do it. very good at "coincidentally" stumble-dodging a power she's never seen in use before by an inch. this adds a solid point or two to her brute rating because of how effectively it enables her to throw her weight around and avoid attacks. she occasionally gets impulses towards what the next steps she could take in a plan to avoid large-scale/impending danger are, but there's not necessarily a guarantee the entire plan will work out--it's just a nudge onto the right path. (think the many times she dodges a sander by an inch in canon + her getting the idea to go to the engine despite having no idea what she'll do when she gets there.)

my sweet sweet SWEET darling boy whom i love jesse: pressures his little brother into doing Something dangerous his shithead friends think will be funny. it goes bad, and nate is sent to the hospital with some serious injuries. panicked, guilty, and terrified that he still doesn't feel prepared to drop the masks he puts up, jesse runs away from home. he runs into his shithead friends, makes a poor attempt to stand up to them & tell them off, and that goes bad as well. when they turn on him, it quickly becomes both devastatingly mentally and physically dangerous. the worst part is that, in the moment, he doesn't wish that he had been better at standing up to them. instead, he wishes that he had just been better at pleasing them, better at finding a way to keep everyone happy with him. trigger.

master, threat rating pending. anyone jesse perceives as needing to like him--whether because they're a physical threat, or simply a threat to his deep insecurities--will begin perceiving him as a friend, with the nature of this perceived friendship adjusting to be indiscernible from how it would appear if it had arisen naturally. this is an ironic reflection of what caused him to trigger in the first place: everyone likes him, but no one likes him for him.

the power is uncontrollable and always on. he is not aware of how it functions, and currently retains his typical desperate people-pleasing behavior.

alan dracula: the PRT thought that the weird deer was jesse's master minion. as it turns out, it's not. in fact, nobody has any fucking idea what it is. there are some theories that it's a really fucked up case 53, but...as anyone in-the-know knows, cauldron has no idea what the fuck that thing is, either. in fact, all signs point to it genuinely being a minutely-smarter-than-average regular deer, but with superpowers. the PRT has given it another name, but jesse and lake loudly insist that his name is alan dracula. alan dracula cares about 1. grass and 2. jesse and lake, in that order. jesse and lake do not at any point explain when or how they met alan dracula. attempts to probe into His Deal are met with a very condescending explanation that he's a deer, and also their friend. this is not because he's using any sort of memory or behavior altering power on them--he's just a deer, he has no reason to do all that.

changer 12 (trump 12, blaster 12, stranger 12, brute 12, mover 12). alan dracula could kill an endbringer. alan dracula isn't going to kill an endbringer, because there's no grass involved. alan dracula only ever releases a fraction of his power, and for this, we should all be grateful.

(i maintain that there's literally no possible way to good-faith translate alan dracula into worm without going this route. if you wormify train characters and you don't make alan dracula a weird fucking deer, you're doing it wrong. alan dracula could beat the shit out of contessa, i don't give a fuck. he's alan dracula.)

grace: her life was going great, right up until she met hazel and started changing. reconsidering things. it hurt when tuba died. she feels like she's desperately spinning plates, trying not to drop any, trying to keep simon happy and hazel safe. it starts taking more lies, more manipulation, just to keep the most basic social interaction going smoothly. she almost thinks she has it, thinks she can make room in her life for hazel without having to give up the apex. but then, without really thinking, she lashes out at hazel to keep simon happy. she didn't realize how horrible it would be until the words had already left her mouth. and then, in the midst of her confusion with herself, hazel leaves. she couldn't live up to any of the roles she was playing. she was trying so hard to be what simon expected, but now she's realizing she can't live up to it--and she doesn't want to live up to it. she dropped all the plates, and there's nothing left for her in the shards. she's watching hazel leave, sobbing, feeling simon stare at the back of her head with raw hatred. trigger.

changer 5 (stranger 3, master 6). ability to alternate between a silver, highly translucent form w/ a face akin to a tragedy mask and a metallic, solidified golden form w/ a face akin to a comedy mask. - in the silver form, people are simply inclined to find her boring, and this is aided by the fact that she's made near entirely see-through. people looking at her feel like they've been watching paint dry for the last hour. trying to remember her long enough to communicate her location feels similarly uninteresting. this feeling of boredom is also mentally parsed as a completely normal reaction, making it difficult to rationally recognize it as a sign to call her out--people experiencing it have a tendency to simply start paying attention to something else, instead. - in the gold form, she's unreasonably interesting. praise from her feels superhumanly good. it's like you're a little kid and she's your favorite person in the whole world, your biggest idol, compelling you to do just a little favor for a pat on the head. she's gorgeous and sweet and you want to do whatever she asks of you. (this is the weakest one, imo, probably because i just made it up on the spot. i Don't Love It and would appreciate alternate suggestions from anyone else familiar w/ her character. it might count as breaker states instead, but i don't think so? who gives a shit. anyway yeah if anyone has an idea for how best to get smth out of the identity struggles + unwanted attention from simon + isolation/betrayal while stirring a bit of cult leader swag into it Let Me Know. my idea does nooot ironically tragically reinforce her issues enough!)

simon: grace was everything he had. they were a team. they were grace and simon. for ten years, it was them versus the train. and then she starts acting weird. normally, they communicate in effortless, unspoken code--but now she's sending off smoke signals he doesn't know how to read. she keeps telling him to hold off on killing the gorilla null for no good reason, and sometimes he swears it feels like she and the new kid are a team versus him. he watches her memory tape to get to the bottom of it, and--yes. she's been lying to him. throwing away everything they built for a null. trigger.

master 6. has the ability to generate a single, extremely strong, and extremely agile brute minion. it looks like an abstracted ballerina with locs and a golden mask. it is, transparently, a replacement for grace. a regracement, if you will. this is the grace in his head, the grace he's placed on a pedestal, the real grace that would scoff at the void that fell from that pedestal when she lied to him. it doesn't speak, because he never really cared to listen. the important part is that, unlike grace, it can never think to leave him.

ryan & min-gi: not sure! i know they'd both realistically trigger separately, but i do like the idea of a cluster trigger for them. they're assigned soulmates at train via the same numbers, i wanna see them assigned kiss cluster dynamic at worm. my main barrier here is that i'm struggling to think of a compelling cluster trigger event + fun music-themed powers. (are two person clusters even a thing? i have not read ward nor will i read ward.) suggestions welcomed.

amelia: amelia is a very smart, talented engineer. she has been since she was a little girl. and she's still spent her entire life getting fucked over by misogyny. her parents and her teachers trying to coerce her into doing things little girls should be doing, her college professors favoring their male students over her, the men in her workplace feeling threatened by her and discriminating in response. the only thing she has going for her is alrick, her fiance. he's impressed by her, treats her as an equal, he sees her in a way no one else does. he stands up for her. he was awed by her work as a child, stood with her in college, works at the same place as her and does his best to make it better for her. she loves him more than anyone. and then he gets into an awful accident and languishes for days in the hospital. she feels like her heart and head are going to explode, watching him lie there. she needs his support. but he dies anyway, and she realizes she doesn't know how to live without her person. she's about ready to go jump off the roof of their old college, and then--trigger.

tinker 10. amelia can build pockets in reality, and she can build entire worlds-in-miniature in those pockets. every pocket world has an entrance to the outside in the form of a red door w/ a golden handle, indestructible and immovable. she can build denizens for those worlds, and those denizens can reproduce. the only guiding rules for her worlds are: - although they're based on elements from reality, they're easier to build the more divorced from reality are, and significantly more difficult to build the more realistic they are. - attempts to intentionally design a car--particularly a realistic one--vs letting her instincts take the lead inevitably result in elements from her unconscious leaking into it. turtles are particularly common, and it bothers her that she can't figure out what object from her subconscious is causing it. - she cannot build people. the more humanoid a denizen appears, the more difficult it is to make.

despite the above, she has furiously dedicated herself to attempting to rebuild a better version of her old life, alrick included. she's stolen a wealth of tinkertech in the hopes that something will help her overcome her limitations. her violent methods of doing so, and her refusal to stop making self-replicating denizens, quickly landed her a kill order. she doesn't care. she has everything to gain and nothing to lose.

the last anyone heard of her, she'd sealed herself in a pocket world and locked the door behind her. all attempts to open the door from the outside have proved fruitless. it remains under perpetual watch. no one wants to find out what she's been making in there, or what she plans to do if, or when, she emerges.

cape name suggestions also welcome for all of these. will be real i am not very good at coming up w/ cape names. compelled by "Your New Best Friend" for jesse--i love clunky, long-ass cape names--and something w/ 'killed god and took his place' connotations for amelia. just straight up "deicide"? who knows.

It was hours before anyone was allowed to take your body. Aemond had sat there, clutching you as you turned cold and stiff, staring off into the distance as the young boy inside his head wailed endlessly. It had been Helaena who convinced Aemond to let you go, and Daeron who supported him while he carried you to the maesters. Alicent was the first to cry out as you were pronounced officially dead, a piece of the queen's heart seeping through her lips as she wept against your hand. The small smart-mouthed girl that arrived nearly a decade and a half ago now lay unspeaking before her very eyes. 

“Tell me you were there” Alicent croaked out. 

“ Mother?” Daeron was the only one to question the queen. Helaena knew the question was not for her and Aemond still stood unmoving. 

“ Tell me you were by her side, Aemond! That she did not die alone!” Alicent stared directly at Aemond now, even if he did not look back. 

“ You think so low of me, that I would let her die unheld?” Aemond whispered.

“ I did not think you would cause her such heartbreak and yet here we are!” Alicent cried out. The fire in her eyes might even make you believe she was a Targaryen in more than just marriage. 

“ I did not know” Aemond argued softly. 

“ Then you will not know the time of her rest as well” All air sucked itself from the room and Aemond’s cardinal-rimmed eyes shot to his mother. 

“ You can not keep me from it” Where an authoritative edge was expected, vulnerability came instead. 

“ I am your mother and the queen dowager, I will do as I please” Alicent spoke harshly, “ I will take Aemys to the ceremony. I expect you to get rid of that bastard wet nurse in the meantime.” 

“ Mother-”

“ I will hear no more, Aemond! If I see you there, you will be thrown in a cell until it’s over” Alicent warned one last time while brushing hair from your face. She bent down to place a motherly kiss on your crown before turning away swiftly. Shortly after her departure, Daeron said his peace as well, followed by Helaena. Finally, Aemond stood alone with you once more. It didn’t take long for his legs to weaken and buckle, taking him down to his knees. The memory of the last time he had been on his knees for you tore a sob from his throat. 

“What are you doing?” You giggled in astonishment as Aemond removed his tunic and knelt at your feet. His hands dipped in the warm lilac water that your swollen feet soaked in. 

“ I’m going to massage the knots from your feet” Aemond explained, watching as your face contorted in bliss when his fingers dug into the right spot. 

“ That is what the maids are for, my love.” You proclaimed before laughing again, ”Most husbands would scoff at the thought of massaging their lady wife.”

“ I am not most husbands, am I?” Aemond countered, smirking up at you. He took one of his hands from the water to caress your swollen stomach. Though he had soaked your night shift with water, you could care less.

“ I suppose not” You sighed contently, “Avy jorrāelan.” I love you.

“ Avy jorrāelan, Ñuha prūmia. Besides, it is the least I can do when I am the reason why you ache in the first place” Aemond continued to soothe the bump, hoping to feel movement. Kicks were his favorite, they usually occurred whenever you laughed. As if on cue, a flutter of movement blossomed underneath his touch as you chuckled at his statement. 

“ If I recall correctly, I was a part of that same reason” You took a towel from beside you as spoke and let it flutter to the floor. Carefully, and with assistance, you removed your feet from the water onto the dry cotton. 

“ Mhm, that is true, you even had me on my back at one point” Aemond snorted.

“ As I remember, you seemed to enjoy it quite a bit” You teased. 

“ Did I? Perhaps you’ll have to remind me” Aemond surged at you before you could even comprehend what was happening. His lips moved deeply against yours as he shifted you to lay back. 

“ Aem!” You gasped in delight, holding onto his shoulders.

“ Yes, Ñuha prūmia?” He cooed mischievously, gleaming down at you like the Cheshire cat.

“ This is nowhere near the position we were talking of, ñuha zaldrīzes!” Dragon. Your dragon, always. Aemond nipped at your neck upon hearing the endearment that always caused his heart to stutter. 

“ Mhm, ‘tis not, but I quite like this position” He murmured hotly against your neck. 

“ You won’t like it when it’s the position I give birth in” You whispered. It’s not that you were scared of your first child’s birth or of death itself, you just worried about never meeting your child if you did perish. 

“ Stop that” Aemond scolded. 

“ Stop what, I’m-”

“ Overthinking. I can feel it” He rose slightly to press his forehead to yours, "Both of you will make it out just fine, though I imagine the babe might still scream well afterward” 

Aemond was right, Aemys did cry well into the night after his birth until you were awake and well to hold him that is. It’s ironic, Aemond thinks, how similar that was to now. You were unconscious after a taxing birth, now you lay unconscious on a pyre. Aemys screamed for you then, and he screams for you now, despite Aemond being there both times. 

“ Muña! Muñaaaaa!” Aemond silently braided a piece of the thrashing toddler's hair as he kicked and screamed. Even at three years of age, he was clever enough to know something was wrong. 

“ Muñaaa-”

“ Aemys, please..” Aemond sighed tiredly, turning the child to face him. 

“ Jaelagon. Muña.” Want. Mother. By the seven Aemond wanted you too, but he couldn’t have you. The realization caused a tightness in his chest, a breathless one, but he refused to cough. 

“ I know, byka zaldrīzes, I’m sorry.” Little Dragon. Aemys truly was still little and it broke Aemond’s heart that you would never get to see him grow big and strong. He brought the distressed toddler to his chest and held him tight, tears soaking onto the small amethyst tunic he had been wrangled into. 

“ Aemond” Alicent called out from the doorway, poised in an onyx dress with a belt of deep purple jewels to match her grandson and a hand full of lilacs. Your faithful hyena, Lark appeared as well, striding into the room slowly. 

“ Be good for your grandmother” Aemond spoke quietly but firmly, before standing to full height. He watched as Aemys toddled over to Alicent, giggling as Lark lapped the tears off his cherubic cheeks. 

“ Muña?” Aemys whispered, your eyes shining up at Alicent through his.

“Mama?” the young girl croaked, peering up at a young Alicent Hightower.

“ Your mother isn’t here-” Her voice faltered at the heartbreak in your innocent eyes, “but surely we can see her later, alright? Now, what else would you like, little one?” 

“Flowers?” Alicent chuckled, before taking your small hand in hers. 

“ I suppose I can show you the lilacs..they’re my favorite” The queen whispered down to you, smiling when your face lit up. You may not have been hers, and despite Viserys being the one to invite you, it was the queen who took you under her wing. 

“Mother.” Alicent’s head snapped up to look at Aemond, breaking from her memories. She blinked rapidly to dispel the water weight from her eyes. 

“ Your mother isn’t here, but we’ll see her…someday” Alicent reassured, taking Aemys little hand in her own. Aemond watched as they went before leaving the room himself. He trudged up to a small room at the top of the tallest viewpoint in the castle. Dreamfyre was circling the skies, waiting for Helaena to say Dracarys. 

“ Aemond!” The sound of his name on your tongue lapped at his ear and your footsteps echoed past him. Dreamfyre now flew towards the grassy knoll. 

“You’re handsome to me” The ghost of your fingers prickled goosebumps near his scar. Dreamfyre landed upon the ground. 

“Avy jorrāelan”

 “Avy jorrāelan.” Your proclamation of love faded away with a hot wind as Aemond’s rang through the air. Dreamfyre hurled fire as Aemond hurled petals. 

Whereas your suffering lasted two months, Aemond’s lasted a year. He never tried to conceal, nor cure it. Aemond once said he would die without you and he meant it. Over the course of his downfall, several had tried to convince him to remarry.

“She’s gone, Aemond-”

“ Do not speak my name. I am a prince, refer to me as such.” Aemond snapped coldly at Alys, who stood in front of him and his family in the hall. Unfortunately with a slightly swollen belly accompanying her. The very sight of it made Alicent and even Helaena nauseous. You had only been gone a few months.

“ Apologies, my prince-” 

“ I did not say your prince, I am nothing of yours.” Aemond corrected once more. 

“ You were once” Alys spoke, gazing wickedly at the man before her. 

“ You tricked me, bewitched me” Aemond sneered.

“ I merely used your lady wife’s blood to make you think I was her. You, Aemond Targaryen are the one who chose to believe it. You began to love m-” 

“ I loved her, not you! It will always be her-” Aemond turned swiftly as he felt the familiar dryness creep up his throat and out onto his hand, bringing rivers of scarlet in its wake. 

“ I was going to offer myself up to you for marriage, but it seems that your wife still calls to you even from the ground.” Alys tuts, “Such a pity that I couldn’t have either of you in the end.” 

Pity. It was a thing that Aemond found himself receiving often. Lords would offer their pity on losing such a gorgeous young wife. Ladies of the court pitied him for losing the only woman who could ever love a monster like him. Even Aegon pitied him, but not for the right reasons. 

“It’s a pity that you lost your wife brother, because now I have to find you another one through alliance. Which mother loathes me for because she believes it’s too soon” Aegon grumbled the last part into his chalice as to avoid his mother's glare. 

“ I will not take another wife” Aemond didn’t bother to eat nor look at anyone, he was only sitting at the table for duty’s sake anyway. In his head, he was in a whole other world where you were alive and happy. 

“ You will remarry, to a Baratheon girl. You will remarry, forget about your old wife, which will get rid of those damned petals you leave everywhere, and then sire more children” Aegon chuckled darkly. 

“ No.” Aemond refuted. 

“ Yes-”

“No! I will not take another wife as long as I lo-” Aemond wasn’t able to say the word much these days without it being an instant reaction. The blonde looked down at his hands and saw not only flowers but thorns. He was nearing his end. 

Aemond’s end wouldn’t come for many more months. Leaving him time to try and end his life quicker. Many morrows would pass and for each one Aemond sat on his knees in front of Vhagar, but nothing ever came of it. Either the dragon refused to kill another rider, or she agreed with Alicent on the fact that Aemond deserved to suffer as you did. Aemond also lived to see Aemys reach another birthday. He spent as much time with the boy as he could in between his duties. It was the only time he could ever get a glimpse of you outside of his mind. The four-year-old’s eyes had become windows to your soul. Not only did Aemys have your eyes, but he had begun to display your mannerisms as well. Mimicking the way you used to carry yourself, the way you talked, and ate as well. The only thing he held of Aemond was hair and emotional range. Though the latter did not develop until after your death. 

“ Aemys, father must go now.” Aemond stood in full armor at the child’s bedchamber door. 

“ Okay.” Aemys spoke with a soft smile before figuring out how to say his next words, “Tell Muña I say hi”

Aemond’s expression fell before it was quickly replaced. He memorized the look of his son once more before taking off down the hall towards Vhagar. Aemys’s words repeated through his head as he flew toward God's Eye. Blood trailed from the corner of his lips and nose, but he ignored and braved on. He would die a dragon rider's death, a brave death, so that he may meet you again in the afterlife. The universe, however, like before, had crueler plans. Air began to solidify into silk beneath the tissue of Aemond’s lungs. His bronchioles turned to thorns, and trachea to roots, all while his body remained the soil. 

“ I-I lov-” For the first time since your death, Aemond sobbed. He needed to say it, needed to say he loved you before he died. The sky, the clouds, the stars, the universe, all of it needed to know how he truly loved you. Aemond could not see caraxes flying towards him with a rider confused on why his nephew was kneeled over before the battle had even begun. Daemon would not attack an injured rider, it would bring him no pride or glory. Instead, he watched as Aemond slid sideways from Vhagar and plummeted towards the river. 

“ Avy jorrāelan” “ Avy jorrāelan” This time it was your proclamation of love that engulfed Aemond’s just as the river of sea and blood consumed him. Aemond Targaryen could not feel the crisp coldness of the water, only the soft warmth of your hands pulling him in.

Looking for volunteers…

As some of you know, @cyber-streak-2 and I have been providing the fandom with quality incorrect quotes for a while now.

I��ve had a lot of fun with it, but since I’ll be cutting down on my fandom activities for a while, I won’t be able to help with incorrect quotes more than once a week.

Styx and I are looking for a few volunteers who can fill in for me and suggest characters for quotes.

Responsibilities and requirements below:

Responsibilities:

Styx will DM you a handful of incorrect quotes sometime during the day, depending on its availability. Usually, this happens sometime in the evening (MT-EST USA).

The message will appear as follows:

Sometime before the next day, you will evaluate the quotes and suggest characters that fit each quote.

I recommend copy-pasting the full message into a separate app (iPhone Notes, Google Docs, etc.) and brainstorming over there. It’ll make your life easier if you can see all the quotes in front of you as you work, and it’ll also help prevent mix-ups on your end.

My preferred brainstorming setup:

When you’re finished matching things up, you will send back your suggestions in the following format:

Anubis will look over your suggestions, and it’ll thank you if it’s satisfied. If not, he’ll ask if you have any other suggestions for [quote #x].

Other things to know:

If you’re busy when Styx sends the quotes, don’t feel pressured to respond; you don’t even have to let it know you’re busy. As long as you send your suggestions/ideas before the morning of the next day (6am EST), you’re free to answer him whenever you want. Styx is chill like that :)

If you can’t think of any character(s) that will fit one or more of the quotes, say so. The only consequence is that there will be less quotes.

If the quotes are published, and you realize you or Anubis accidentally mixed up the characters, don’t hesitate to DM, point it out, and state exactly what changes should be made. It’s happened plenty of times with me, and Styx hasn’t hesitated to change the quotes, even after they’ve been published.

If you think of multiple characters that fit a single quote, feel free to suggest them too.

If you can think of a way to correct and/or improve one or more of the quotes, send back the full quote(s) with the completed changes incorporated. This makes it easy for Anubis to just copy and paste the updated version(s):

Requirements:

Must have a solid grasp of the main characters’ personalities in MTMTE + LL, preferably with a grasp of some characters from the rest of IDW1, TFP, and EarthSpark. Knowledge of characters from TFA, G1, and Beast Wars is appreciated for the sake of additional variety, but not necessary. No Rescue Bots, RiD15, or Cyberverse, please.

Must be able to communicate concisely. Styx does best when there’s little-to-no ambiguity in the wording of character suggestions and all other messages. (No need to be me or an Ultra Magnus. Just be willing to confirm or reword things if asked.)

It's that time again! Commissions are open! And these commissions are specifically for paying for my recent medical expenses that have built up. But nothing really has changed, same old commissions, same dedicated Momolady.

These commissions are open from late February through May, so feel free to ask for multiples if you'd like.

Basic commissions: 1.50 cent per word. (ex: $45 is 3k words)

The basic usual fair. A self insert reader or a simple ‘you’ reader. Describe the monster you want, basic plot outline, and simple wants for the story and outcome. Usually requires minimal research and prep on my end, and the story is probably mostly fluff, meet cute, etc. If free reign is given to me, your author, you will be guaranteed extra word count for my enjoyment.

Smut Commissions: 2 cent per word. (ex: $60 is 3k)

This includes more complex details and requests, these may be stories that feature original characters or that deal with a more involved storyline, plot, character work, and word count. This includes plots and characters that may require extra research on my end. This also takes into account that these complex stories may include word overflow (I know they do, I know how I work., as well time discussing and working out things may take.

Discounts are available on most of Patreon reward tiers. And people who have commissioned me more than three times will receive and friends and family discount as well.

I will also only accept payments made in USD. I feel that is fair, considering I have been lenient about this in the past. I have let friendship and my own kindness allow me to be taken advantage of, and I am tired of it. Payment, as always, is due in advance, and you can pay as soon as you like (discounts apply here) or as close to the due date as possible (the closer you pay to the due date the less the discount you receive). Payments will be made via paypal and I will send an invoice when you are ready. If paypal isn’t an option for you, we will discuss that in advance.

I do not mind you being as vague or as detailed as you want. I do suggest you get all your details out in one go, as we can discuss them quickly and easily. If things change, that is fine too, just make sure to tell me advanced enough it won’t hinder the production of your story. What I request is that you do not bombard me with requests, ask, and details over and over and over again. The more this happens the more I tend to get anxious and stressed about the story. Once details are agreed upon then they are considered final. Any changes made a week before will not be accepted. Also, stories that require a lot of detail and research will have a higher price point. I have bent over backwards and worked myself to the bone on stories like these, and I think it’s time I am paid for it. I also ask that anything you want for the story does not alter or bend the rules of the universes you want them set in, such as Hearthway Hollow, Ruby Empire, and Miror. These are my worlds and I have specific things in place for them, if you feel the need to play God, please discuss it with me beforehand and we can see if we can reach something amicably.

Be prepared to hear ‘no’ from me. In the past I have not put my foot down and I have ended up uncomfortable or unsure about things. There are certain topics, kinks, and creatures I will not write, but I am very happy to work with you to come to something that will satisfy your needs.

I will start asking for extra pay if extensive edits are needed. If there are whole chunks that need rewritten or paragraphs you wanted added, I am going to have to charge for them, although it will be cheaper than the regular cost per word. If it’s something that is truly my mistake (like if I wrote the wrong monster or something), it will be discussed.

I ask that you trust me as a writer to do what is best. If I twist something or request something goes another way, it is me wanting to give you the best experience for your story and not disregarding your wants for the story at all. Usually when this happens I will discuss it with you and double check to make sure it is ok.

Now here comes the FAQ

Do you have a word limit?

Considering how many commissions I get, I will not be accepting commissions under 3000 words. It hasn’t come up, but I just wanted it to be known. Smaller commissions are extremely hard for me to do. The bigger the commission the better for me, it’s a lot easier.

My story’s at 3502 words! Do I have to pay the extra pricing per word?

If a story goes over 500 words I’ll discuss with you what you’d like to do. But usually, extra word count is my bad, I get excited sometimes and have fun, and I don’t mind eating it.

I have this great idea for a novel…

I’m glad you have an idea, but no. I cannot write your novel for you. It isn’t fair to me, and it will probably cost you more than you are willing to pay. I have my own projects and novels to write. I can’t baby your dream as well as my own.

Will you write fanfiction on commission?

For the time being, no. But! If you’d be willing to work with me and create a ‘legally distinct’ original to compensate then lets talk!

I have a completely original character and would like you to write with them. Is this okay?

YES. But, Be prepared to give me a decent bio as well as their physical description and all the basic information I will need to bring your baby to life.

Can I have you write another chapter to one of your existing stories?

Yes! If the story was a commission though we will have to ask the original commissioner. If they approve then I will do it for you.

I want to give you free reign over the story. Is that ok?

Always! I love getting creative and going off in my own little world.

I enjoy writing almost anything. I’m good at comedy and romance, but horror and psychological stories have become my guilty pleasure to write.I’m good with most anything, but there will be topics I will be unwilling to write. But this will all be discussed and approved when you contact me.

What won’t you write?

This is a better question to ask. I absolutely will not write anything involving scat, vore, children in sexual situations, or nonconsensual sexual acts. These are just major examples of things I am uncomfortable with. Also, I am NOT open to role plays, so don’t ask for those.

So how does this work?

Once I approve it we can discuss what length of story you want, what genre, what characters, and a loose outline. Payment will be given upfront. Remember when that you are commissioning anyone, writer, artist, voice actor, musician, anyone, that you are not just paying for the product. You are also paying them for their time talking to you about what you want, you're paying for their research and study on whatever it is you want, you're paying them for double checking and making sure everything is ok with the product. More goes into the commissions you ask for than you think, so please be kind and considerate with commissioning anyone. Art takes time, patience, and a lot of love, and we want to give you the best bang for your dollar.

Hello! I started following your content a while ago and I definitely love it. Your shots are amazing! You were one of the creators that encouraged me to get the Otis_Inf injected camera, to try and get some good memories from my current gameplay (tho I don't normally post I just keep them for that, memories) Thing is I was going crazy trying to get shots from cinematics (changing angle and stopping at the right time) but I can't find a way, and I thought you would know because you totally master taking screenshots from the game. Could you give me some insight, please? Thank you!

Hello there! I’m definitely no master haha, as I am still learning new things about how the camera tool and everything works, but thank you for the compliment <3.

To pause the game, you must use the 0 key on the numpad to pause. Alternatively, you can change the keybinding in the camera tool menu if this doesn’t work for you. I think the default for injecting the actual camera is the “home” key, but I prefer to use numpad *. I then use the numpad keys to move the camera around, and the + and - keys to increase/decrease FOV to my liking.

A trick I use to get precise moments is to pause way before I know a reaction/animation is going to happen, and I set up my general angle and unlock the numpad, then use the numpad 3 key to move frame by frame, rather than unpausing and pausing again.

Another thing to do is when you are taking screenshots of cinematics and you have the game’s depth of field on (I usually keep it on for home I’m recording videos/gifs), it will sometimes not allow you to capture certain things in focus when moving around with the freecam. I’d suggest turning it off in the “video” settings of the game before and use the IGCS connecter to render your own depth of field at the angle you wish!

Hopefully this helps? I know at first all the different keys can be confusing, but once you know what does what, it becomes much easier. Just become familiar with the controls. I also make a lot of use of the field of view keys (I decrease it a lot to get a more close up shot with less lense distortion) and the rotating keys (for portrait shots, I believe my default they are numpad 2 and 3?)

most questions ask about content from an episode of the show, which will be provided [example: In The World Series Defense, for how many days was the gang stuck in the linen closet?].

there are also some meta questions about the show as a whole [example: Which five episodes contain "Mac and Charlie" in the title?].

content warning: some questions use canon-typical adult language and/or reference drugs, alcohol, or sex.

Types

almost all questions are open-ended, similar to the format of the podcast trivia questions.

there are also a few fill-in-the-blank, multiple-choice, and re-order questions.

Time

you will have 20-30s to answer most questions. for questions with longer answers, you will have 45s-1 min. this is to avoid potential googling.

you do not gain/lose any points for taking less/more time, as long as you answer within the allotted time frame.

questions will be auto-scored by the system when there is a limited amount of correct answers. your answer only has to contain the correct answer to be marked correct. extra words will not impact scoring.

questions are manually scored by us after you submit the quiz if they have many possible correct answers or have multiple answers.

questions that ask you to list multiple items will either be "all or nothing" (you must get all answers correct to get any/all points) or "point for each" (you get a point for each correct answer).

IMPORTANT: if you make a spelling or formatting error that auto-scores a correct answer as incorrect, you will have a chance to let us know at the end of the quiz. please keep note of these questions as you go along. if you forget to include any, you can message or DM us (sunnytrivia) with additional questions for review. we will change your score if we agree that you got the answer correct.

Things I learned while navigating the workforce

Hi everyone! I got a couple of questions the other day from @boujeeceo regarding staying focused working from home, getting noticed by management and executives and also how I network! This is from my personal experience and if anyone else has any additional tips please feel free to share! 🤗

Working from home

Desk station

It’s superrr important that you have an area that is functional and comfortable. You need to be able to produce at the same level as you would in the office without sacrificing your comfort level. You can’t really focus if you are sitting at your breakfast bar on a hard bar stool for 8 hours a day staring at a single monitor and I’m talking from experience. Now I have a standard marble desk that’s able to fit 2 monitors, a keyboard with a mouse but I still have room for a small notepad and a standard notebook and will not be cramped.

Staying focused

I keep my self on task by using the pomodoro method. Which is giving my focus to a task for a certain amount of time then follow it with a short break of max 5 minutes where I will just relax my mind maybe change my playlist or tidy my desk or a complete a misc task. Personally, I complete heavy tasks in the morning and I leave easier tasks after lunch that way I can wind down leading home. To keep my focus while doing my work I snack on healthy snacks or a protein shake so I’m not constantly thinking about lunch. Also I HIGHLY suggest planning out your day first thing in the morning so you have a sense of what your day looks like and whether or not you can complete what you need to complete. Strive to focus on 3 major tasks a day in order to not overwhelm yourself.

Getting noticed by Executives

Apply for an Internship

If you are in college apply for internships!! Today I was able to chat with a VP and she mentioned that she’s involved in the summer internship program and you would be surprised but they actually remember faces and their interactions with the interns. They also genuinely love being involved in those programs.

Lend help wherever you can

Management and Executives are looking for leaders and an effective leader is always willing to lend a helping hand. You have to show them that you are a team player because they have to be able to count on you. Always being willing to help shows them you are willing to go the extra mile but please stay within reason. Do not sacrifice your physical and mental health for a promotion, if you become ill you’re no good to anybody including yourself so be very mindful on how much you take on.

Get involved

I’m naturally quiet but thankfully my employer has mentorship programs, newsletter teams and things of that nature. I joined my departments newsletter and our Editor and chief is a Director and there were several Manager and Leads. I find that the inner organizations within a firm are run by the Executives who are doing this on personal time PLUS you have a common interest that sparks conversations.

Additional tips

Stay curious

Ask questions - make use of the higher ups office hours if they have any.

The right attitude - stay positive and be a go getter they eat that stuff up

Take pride in your work - this speaks on your work ethic

If you have weekly team meetings suggest an ice breaker to your manager this shows them you care about the team on a more personal level - I suggested we all bring HS prom pictures and that went GREAT!

How I network

Build Relationships

Since I work at an Investment Firm the company pushes connecting and building relationships. So I always make it a point say bye to my manager and we kind of bond over binge watching shows so we usually chat it up in my way out the door. I suggest trying to get to know your management teams because effective managers want to get to know you and most likely have an open door policy. But also get to know your colleagues and try to connect with common interests.

For instance right now I have a team mate who’s from Jersey so we bond because we both are from the NY/NJ area and I have another team member is into manifesting so we bond over things of that nature. I find that even my peers could have connections with important people as well and if they have kids I make it a point to ask about them. Personally, I try to remember small things about their kids because it shows you are taking a genuine interest in their lives and that’s just the type of person I am so it comes naturally to me. This establishes a personal connection and makes me feel confident enough to talk about work things. (But beware of people with ill intentions, I learned to spot them a mile away)

Get Involved!!

I’m going to sound like a broken record but if you are already at an establish company that has “extracurriculars” such as volunteering opportunities, newsletter teams and things of that nature it takes some of the edge off of networking because again we already have a common interest and the executives have these activities and clubs in place because they want you to be involved. I like to volunteer and I’m looking into applying for mentorship programs. Not only will this help you meet new people but it gets you in the face of key people at your company. But also branch out and join club outside of work for instance, if you are black and an accountant become a member of NABA (National Association for Black Accountants). They hold conferences every year with reputable companies and it’s for us!!! I know numerous people who have gotten internships at Big 4 accounting firms and other top companies. Go meet people and just put yourself out there because closed mouths don’t get fed 🤷🏾‍♀️

Urban Dictionary defines rarepair as “A ship or pairing that not many people ship or is very rare to find fanfiction and fanart of. Typically happens within small fandoms or with minor characters.” So what’s your favourite Final Fantasy VII related rare pair? Do you have more than one? Here’s a chance to showcase them and help them move up from being rare! Not all parts of the pairing have to be from FFVII, and you don’t have to do the same pairing or group for the whole week! ANNOUNCING COLDFLASH WINTER WEEK 2022

Greetings, folks! 

You’ll recall that recently, I asked everyone to vote on the prompts for our upcoming Coldflash Winter Week, which is due to take place December 26th–January 1st.

The votes are in (and voting is now closed)! As always, we had a lot of amazing prompts to choose from, but there were definitely some clear favourites. I used a combination of the most popular prompts, in no particular order. There are two prompts for each day, to give everyone plenty of options. I’ve tried to include a themed and non-themed prompt for each day of the event, for or for those of you who may not celebrate Christmas or don’t feel like sticking to a strictly winter theme! 

Like the last event, we’re keeping it chill *finger guns*. Any kinds of fanwork are welcome! Fanfic, fan art, playlists, moodboards, fan videos, edits, gifsets… whatever your heart desires. Feel free to make as many contributions as you’d like---the more the merrier!

Once again, is a pretty casual event, with no commitments or sign-ups. The only rules are as follows:

1.      Remember not to start posting until the event begins! You can start sharing your contributions on December 26th. If you’re a little behind schedule, don’t worry—I’ll continue to monitor the tag for a short time after the event is over in case anyone misses the deadline!

2.      Make sure your work includes the prompts! There’s plenty of room for creative freedom, so hopefully these suggestions will spark something for you… pun intended. You could even mix and match---maybe Barry begs Len to let Barry “help” him on the ice rink, or they have to cuddle for warmth post-Oculus. So many possibilities! 

3.      The tag for this weekend will be cfww2022, so remember to tag all your contributions! When we get a little closer to the time, I’ll also start an AO3 collection where you can share your works with the world!

4.      Please use appropriate tags. If your work is nsfw, or contains themes that might be upsetting or triggering, please make sure to tag it as such. BTS Tutorial: gift cards for multiple iTunes

Today I set up 4 extra iTunes accounts and then I redeemed gift cards from JIMIN FUNDS to make more purchases of Set Me Free Pt. 2.

I will break down the experience for you so you might feel more comfortable doing this too, or if you know of someone who really wants to help but is pinching pennies.

But first--let me start by saying: there is a really good post over here about why it's important to avoid working with solos and antis. I do not want any drama on my blog and I never wish to cause harm to any BTS member. So I DMed Jimin Funds and straight up asked them if they were solos and/or didn't love all the members of BTS... and they flat-out said "No! It's Jimin OF BTS 100% of the time!!"

So after interacting with them a lot today, I believe they are a Jimin-biased account on Twitter but real ARMY in their personal lives, just like me. However, it seems they will take donations from anyone--including shippers, solos, OT7s, multis, who and whatever--and they will distribute to anyone buying for Jimin--including shippers, solos, OT7s, multis, who and whatever. If you wanna help Jimin, they will empower you to do so and not put you through a lot of questions to "vet" you about it. They are acting like a safe middle man.

But Jimin Funds themselves are NOT SOLOS and are actually very nice. It was 3am where they live and they were diligently still up and getting funds into the hands of ARMY like me, answering questions, making connections and suggestions. I have followed their twitter for months and they have never shaded any member and they work hard for Jimin as far as I can see, so I have no qualms working with them, but you do you. You can search for OT7 funding accounts on Twitter and use them by all means!! Please do not bring drama to my blog. I will force you to ride the drama llama if you do.

Anyway, Jimin Funds have bought hundreds of gift cards so folks can afford to buy Jimin's single and title track. Right now they are prioritizing digital sales for US and PR ARMYs but reach out to them with questions for other options.

I will walk you through how it's done, in case you wanted to do it but weren't feeling comfy and so are still on the fence.

First up, I have an iTunes account under my real name with my real life credit card and that's what I use for my main music buying, just in my real every day life outside of being ARMY. I also have 5 other fandom gmails I made, which I'm constantly cycling through to vote, stream, engage on social media, and make purchases. So today I logged out of my main iTunes and I set up accounts there with my other emails. I could only set up 4 other accounts, because iTunes limits you to 5 emails per credit card.

I input the same birthday, same address, same security questions, same credit card. Used different handle names based on the gmail address so I can keep it all straight in my mind. These 5 accounts are tied to me, one user, BUT IF I USE A GIFT CARD TO BUY, the 5 accounts' purchases count separately for the charts.

So I DMed Jimin Funds and they individually released $2 iTunes electronic fund codes to me via DM and I purchased Set Me Free four more times, and sent them screenshots and my thanks.

They did not ask me for my name, address, credit card info--nothing. I just told them the email I'd be using and as a courtesy gave them a screenshot of my iTunes account with that purchase showing them that I spent their funds as they'd intended. I feel safe that I will not be data mined just because they know those shell email addresses.

They asked me to please use the remaining funds on each gift card to purchase Like Crazy when it drops, which I will definitely be doing.

All told, I will have bought Jimin's physical album 6 times and his digital album 5 times on iTunes and 3 times elsewhere, plus I will stream nonstop on 3 devices using 6 free trial premium accounts for 24 straight hours. I'm not sure what else I can realistically do but I'm all ears if you have suggestions.

Please reply to this post with links if you know of accounts funding the entire digital album on March 24th.

I have no idea how much it will end up costing on iTunes, but the average price of an EP is around $10-$12. That can add up for folks, I know, but sales are EXTREMELY IMPORTANT especially considering the names Jimin is trying to chart against, without radio play.

And yes, I will say that streaming is important too, of course it is, but you have to stream something 150 times for it to count as one sale. If we can make use of up to 5 iTunes accounts and spend down all the donated funds ARMY has collected, that will help Jimin chart higher, faster.

The only thing required of you is the time and effort it takes to set up extra iTunes accounts, redeem a gift card code, and click to purchase two songs. It's way less work than streaming for 24 hours straight (though I'll be doing that too, because what is love if not sleep deprivation?)

PS Our streaming and voting numbers always dip a lot on the weekend. Please, please set reminders and be diligent--but also be sure to build in time for rest and real-life stuff. This is a marathon and next Friday at 12:01am we are gonna have to go hard like never before to lift our boy up!
