Mathias the Goblin: Part Two
Tumblr media
The story of Audrey and Mathias continues. is life after love possible between these two? Distance and time stand between them, and their own hearts are struggling. What would you do?
Female Main Character X Male Monster
Tumblr media
Neither Audrey nor Mathias slept the previous night. Attractions and distractions had been the bane of their existence. Early morning couldn’t come soon enough, and when they both stepped out upon their verandas, they noticed the other at almost the exact same moment. The veranda in the middle was a vast desert separating their two oases.
Mathias waved first, and Audrey smiled first.
“Good morning,” Audrey said, shyly lifting her fingers.
Mathias nodded, very aware of how half-naked he was. “Did you sleep at all?”
Shrugging, Audrey looked away embarrassed. The neighbors between them had gone on quite a long time that night before breaking and going back at it again.
“Yeah,” he laughed and leaned against the railing. “Same.”
They were both quiet for a long moment, but Mathis glanced from the corner of his eye at Audrey in her sleep clothes. How that tank top was holding in those perfect breasts of hers, he’d only be able to dream about it. But it was also the way her hair fell, the long white curls free from her usual braid flowed freely around her shoulders like snow. A regular snow princess if he ever saw one.
“I gave Gwen headphones,” Audrey muttered.
“Yeah, Jake always sleeps with a sound machine so he was out like a candle as well.” He swallowed, standing up a little more.
Audrey watched his chest, the dark curls of hair, the flecks of gold and dark green that ran down his sides, like an arrow pointing to his pot of gold. The staff of gold. She looked into his eyes and smiled. “At least they were safe.”
Mathias shifted, his eyes darting around. “Maybe when the kids wake up, we can go fetch breakfast,” he suggested.
Maybe we can sneak off to the stairwell before anyone wakes up, Audrey thought then chastised herself for in the same breath. “That sounds lovely!”
The fall air was chilled, and it was then when the wind blew Mathias took direct note of her nipples jutting through the thin cami. He cock started to grow hard, so he made a quick excuse. “I’ll come fetch you, how about that? I’ll get a shower.”
Audrey had more to say, but his quick turnaround kept her words locked up. Her lips pouted and she sighed pitifully. “Shower with me,” she whined and turned inside, frustrated with herself and her own feelings.
Coffee couldn’t come soon enough. The diner was sleepy and comforting, the scent of breakfast seemed to even relax the kids.
“You get pancakes and I’ll get waffles and we can share!” Gwen said excitedly to Jake.
Jake frowned at her. “Aren't they the same thing?”
“Hardly!” Gwen began exposing her theories on pancakes and waffles while Jake sat in awe of her, his orange juice barely in his mouth.
“You’ve got a genius on your hands,” Mathis chuckled, adding milk to his coffee.
Audrey was mid-sip, but she lifted her head to agree. “Don’t get her started  on what came first, the chicken or the egg.”
“No way, I want to hear that lecture,” Mathias grinned.
Since the diner was part of the theme park, there was a small arcade in the back with retro games. Armed with quarters, the kids ran back to play while the adults were left to order and wait.
“Wild last night,” Mathias muttered.
“I know! They were uhm…really going at it.” Audrey’s cheeks were growing a deep shade of fuschia.
Mathias stirred his coffee idly. “Been a long time.”
Perking her head up, they locked eyes. “How’d you know?”
“Not you! I meant-”
“Oh no!”
“No, it’s-”
“So sorry!”
“No I mean-”
“I meant to-”
They both fell silent for a beat and then laughed in unison. Mathias took his shot and touched Audrey’s hand. She let him, holding her breath as his warm fingers caressed her touch-starved skin. Her smile was soft and she eased her hand out further to hold his.
“It’s been a few years,” she confessed freely. “And for the past year, I’ve really felt myself yearning for that intimacy again.”
Mathis was watching her hand in his. “I understand. I’ve been so busy, I’ve neglected myself in a lot of ways.”
They exchanged nervous smiles.
“I wanted to ask you last night,” she whispered.
He nodded. “There was a moment I thought we might. But-” His eyes darted to the arcade room where Gwen and Jake were giggling like crazy.
“That’s the hard part, isn’t it?” Audrey used her middle finger to stroke the center of Mathias’ palm, and it drove him wild. “We’re both adults though. And we like each other. Right?”
“Yeah,” he was breathless.
Audrey bit her lip, her cheeks even brighter in color now. “It’s been so long since I’ve done any of this. Flirting. Dating. Sex.” She looked shyly into his eyes at that. “At least fifteen years. Oh my god-” she cupped her hand around her mouth. “Has it been that long?”
Mathias grinned, showing his sharp teeth. “There’s no way you’re the old. You still look like a kitten.”
“Bullshit!” Audrey huffed. “See how fat my thighs are? How huge my uhm…chest is.” She bit back a smile. “I used to look much more human and less like a fertility statue,” she giggled. “But when I had Gwen everything ballooned.”
“Don’t say it like that. You talk like you don’t find yourself attractive,” Mathias scoffed.
“Some of us deal with body image issues.” She waved her hand along his body. “Do you work out all the time or what?”
It was Mathias’ turn for his cheeks to darken. “What? No! I just have a little workout area I use when Jake wants to play outside!”
Audrey smirked. “How often does that happen?”
“I got a gut,” he swallowed.
“You’ll have to show me,” Audrey purred.
At that exact moment, the waitress brought the food over. Her peppy energy turned their flirting into embarrassment and they flubbed thanking her.
“I’ll go get the kids,” Mathias said.
“Okay! Yes! We have kids!” Audrey’s voice cracked.
Mathias walked back into the arcade, but the kids weren’t done with a game so he stood and waited. The kids then needed to use the bathroom, so he let them do that while he went back to the table. When he came back, he saw a big, burly minotaur bent over Audrey’s seat. A spike of jealousy coursed through him, but he walked up casually to the table.
“See? Married!” Audrey was showing her wedding band. “Oh! There he is. Darling!” She looked at Mathias with all the hope in the world. The minotaur turned, glaring down at him.
“You’re pulling my leg,” the minotaur scoffed.
“Nope, that’s Mathias. My husband!” She pleaded to Mathias with her eyes.
Understanding the assignment, Mathias sneered up at the minotaur. “What? Are you hitting on my wife?” He pushed past the minotaur to take the seat beside Audrey. “Look, I know she’s top shelf and I’m a bottom shelf kind of guy. But I got a ladder straight to this girl’s heart.”
The minotaur scoffed and walked away in silence right as the kids were coming out of the bathroom.
“Thank you,” Audrey whispered. She planted a kiss on Mathias’ temple, pulling back before the kids could notice.
Later in the day, the kids were being taken to the cursed shipwreck party. A huge slumber party in the biggest room of the theme park’s aquarium where they would be entertained by ghost pirates and a slew of other activities.
Audrey and Mathias were alone.
“Well, how about dinner?” Mathias asked, clearing his throat.
“I was thinking we could go swimming first, then we can order some takeout for the hotel room,” Audrey suggested.
Mathias looked her up and down. “That sounds good. So uhh…guess we’ll go to our hotel rooms and get changed?”
“Meet at the pool?” Audrey smiled.
They agreed, parting to go to their rooms.
Inside her room, Audrey studied herself in the bathroom mirror. She touched her breasts, trying to make them perk up and stay that way, but they kept falling back down.
Mathias too was doing a study of his anatomy. Surely he could please her, fulfill her with his body. He shaved, hoping his chin would irritate her. He flexed in the mirror, sighing heavily as he realized he would have to leave at some point.
Audrey and Mathias walked out at the same time. They looked down at the hall at each other and there was a crackle, a spark.
Down at the pool, they both instantly ordered drinks.
Mathias downed his beer while Audrey was sipping on a pina colada greedily. His eyes roamed her body, her one piece hugged her curves, showing off what she originally wanted to hide. The side of her breast was exposed, and Mathias could imagine scooping it out into his hand.
“Want some?” Audrey offered Mathias a sip of her drink.
“I’m good. Thanks.” Mathias turned around, looking at the pool. The pool itself was practically empty, but lots of childless parents were roaming around enjoying their free night while the kids played ghost pirates.
Audrey and Mathias found a corner to themselves. Audrey lounged in a beach chair while Mathias sat in a plastic patio seat.
“Woo!” Audrey sighed after another long drink. “I haven’t had a drink like this in ages. I feel it all going to my head.”
Mathias was watching the crowd, his eyes darting around as he tried to evade the lewd thoughts inside his head. He admitted he was thinking like a teenager.
“Hey.” Audrey grabbed Mathias’ arm and tugged him for attention. As he looked down, he saw Audrey exposing her breast to him. He was shot, unsure how to move by this silly, lewd action of hers.
Her nipple was perfect. Dark lilac. Round. Plump. Veins peeked through the soft skin alongside faint stretch marks.
“Like it?” Audrey said, sticking her tongue out.
Matthias looked around in a panic. “What on earth are you doing?”
“I told you the drink was going to my head!” Audrey snickered. “Wanna see the other one?”
“I didn’t think you were this kind of girl!”
Audrey sighed dreamily as she leaned back in her chair. “I was once.” She sipped her pina colada. “A real wild child.”
“You’re like, the most prepared mom I’ve ever met. That’s hard to imagine.”
“Hey! I can be both.” She pouted up at Mathias. “You were never a little wild in your younger days?”
He shook his head. “Not really. I was sort of a nerd.”
“I always liked nerds,” Audrey giggled. “That’s how I got my husband.” She sipped again, fading into a lovely memory. “He was so straight-laced and uptight when I first met him. All I wanted was to see some other look on his face.” She set her drink down. “Didn’t expect to fall in love with it.”
Mathias reached out, taking hold of her hand.
She took his hand, putting it on her face. “Will you hold me tonight?” She asked.
“Of course,” Mathias murmured.
Audrey stood up, keeping ahold of Mathias’ hand. Without saying a word, both went back into the hotel, hoping on the slow elevator. She knelt down, kissing him hungrily. Mathias’ hands were in her hair, stroking it, grabbing it. Audrey moaned against his lips, sliding her hands down his back to his butt.
They raced to Mathias’ room where everything went silent again. Audrey turned, pulling down the straps of her bathing suit and exposing her breasts to him.
“I know this may be a one-night sort of thing,” she murmured.
“Doesn’t have to be,” he growled. “Two hours from Rose Creek isn’t awful. Plus, Jake can visit Gwen and his grandmother.”
Audrey smiled softly. “You’re too sweet.” She knelt down before him, pulling down his swim trunks. “You’ve made me feel like a woman again, I want to thank you for that.” She started by taking his cock into her mouth, and to Mathias’ shock, his tip hit the back of her throat. She moaned, sending ripples of pleasure through his body.
“Oh fuck,” he whined.
Smirking smugly, Audrey continued.
His cock was rigid quicker than she expected, maybe he was just as excited as she was. The bottom curved a little bit, so the head of his dick ran along the roof of her mouth, it tickled. She enjoyed the girth of it, especially how it was thicker near the base.
Mathias’ hand came down upon her head and she looked up at him. Her eyes widened at the lustful, almost blissed out-of-his-mind look that was on his face. Which was no surprise, Mathias had been aching for this since he met Audrey. Her mouth was warm and wet, and her moans electrified his entire body.
“My turn,” he growled.
Audrey barely had time to lift her head before Mathias had her on the ground. She was on her back, Mathias between her thighs tugging aside the bathing suit.
“Oh gosh-” Audrey gulped in hair, her lips still wet from sucking him. “Wait I-” Her eyes rolled back into his head as his strong tongue pressed into her folds. “Oh!”
“Fuck you’re wet,” Mathias licked his lips and went in for more.
Audrey’s lashes fluttered and she had to remember to breathe. “Oh…fuck!” She gripped first at the floor as Mathias’ affections went deeper, harder. His tongue swirled around her clit, pressing in and then his lips puckered around it. She reached for his head, grabbing his thick, dark hair.
Mathias growled as the heat pulsed through him. He’d always been driven to pleasure his partners, men, women, it didn’t matter. But Audrey.
Oh gods, Audrey.
He wanted to give her everything in his arsenal to please her. A woman like her deserved it. No. She needed it.
“Oh my god-” the words lilted breathlessly from her lips.
This was the sign, the one where Mathias knew exactly what to do. He slid his hand up her thigh, gently kneading into her plump, dripping mound. She was quivering, close to her breaking point. Mathias eased a finger inside her, crooking it and moving.
“Fuck!” Audrey cried out. Both hands were on the back of his head. Her wonderful, plump thighs were clamped tight around his head. Her inner walls clamped around his finger and he continued to lap at her clit.
Audrey was beyond cloud nine. The heat from her loins had taken over her body. It had been ages since she had an orgasm like this. One that cramped the arch of her foot and made her forget where she was.
For a moment, she lay still on the ground, heavily breathing. Her lashes fluttered, looking up as Mathias worked to remove her bathing suit. In her state, she looked up at him in a dreamy glow. An angel, that must be what he is. She thought, perhaps, her husband had sent him.
Mathias licked his lips and wiped at his chin. His palm stroked down the center of Audrey’s naked body and he breathed out slowly. Nestled between Audrey’s thighs, he rocked his hips, slowly pressing his cock along her slit.
Biting her lip, Audrey gave him a pleading look. “That felt so amazing,” she whimpered.
“I’m glad,” Mathias chuckled seductively. “I hope you like the next part even better.” He looked down, holding his cock to tease his tip against her clit. He stilled for a moment, rubbing his fingers to her and opening her up. “Fuck, you’re beautiful everywhere.”
“H-hush,” Audrey stammered. “Don’t just stare at it.”
He smirked. “I’m not staring, I’m admiring.” Gently, he eased himself inside her and Audrey moaned. “Fuck,” Mathias growled.
“It’s been so long,” Audrey mewled.
Mathias began by rocking his hips in a gentle motion. He focused on her, watching her face, her body. Leaning forward, he could take her breast and suckle upon her nipple. Audrey cried out, biting on her knuckle. She was still sensitive from Mathias eating her out.
This couldn’t be a one-night thing, Mathias thought. No. This was something else. He wanted this. He wanted Audrey. He’d never wanted someone like this before. He’d only met her, but he could picture forever with this amazing woman.
“Wait, one second,” Audrey mewled out.
Mathias stopped, catching his breath. “Is everything okay?”
Audrey nodded, sitting up slightly. “Yes. I just wanted to try something,” she said with a shy giggle. “Get on the bed and lay down.”
A tingle shot through Mathias’ spine. He did as she beckoned, lying down on the bed. Audrey stumbled as she stood, gaining foot before she crawled up beside him and through her leg over him. She straddled his hips, lowering herself down to take his cock inside.
This was too good to be true. Gazing up at her would make him cum for sure, Mathias thought.
“Mm,” Audrey licked her lips then ran her hands down his body. His cock throbbed inside her, and she squeezed around him to feel more. She slowly began moving, riding his cock gently at first, finding her stride.
“I haven’t done this in forever, but it's always been my favorite,” she cooed. “Oh. There, right there.”
A haze formed over Mathias’ eyes. He took hold of Audrey’s hips, never wanting to let go. “Audrey, you’re a goddess.”
Her cheeks flushed more than they had already. Unsure how to respond, she thrust harder, shaking the bed as well as the very core of Mathias’ soul.
“I’m close,” Mathias whimpered out.
Audrey nodded, panting hard with her efforts. She was close too, eager to have Mathias fill her completely. She leaned forward, brazing her hands against the bed. Both were moaning, crying out in divine lust.
“Fuck! Audrey!” Mathias’ hands sunk deeper into her hips.
Audrey let out a primal scream, her insides twitched and Mathias released, choking on his own breath and voice. It was, to say the least, intense for both.
It was quiet, save for deep breathing. Both lay there in bed, cooling down and catching their second wind. Mathias soon rolled over, cuddling up to Audrey and holding her.
A sniffle came from Audrey then.
“What’s wrong?” He asked, concerned.
She shook her head, cupping her hand around her eyes. “It’s nothing. I swear. It’s good.” She lowered her hand and a few tears trickled down her cheek. “It’s good,” she said with a soft smile.
Mathias held her even tighter, making sure she was held with all the affection she deserved.
That night, they fucked a couple more times, eating takeout to recharge. They shared laughs, desires, and dreams between sessions. They divulged the deepest parts of themselves excitedly to the other.
“We go home tomorrow,” Mathias said.
Audrey sighed. “Us too,” she pouted.
Mathias reached out, touching her face. “Let’s not end it here.”
She leaned into his touch, scooting closer to him in the bed. “Where do we take it?”
He chuckled. “I don’t know but…two hours is nothing.”
After parting in the hotel lobby, it would not be the last time both families saw one another. Jake and Gwen had bonded, so Mathias and Audrey agreed to set up playdates once a month. After all, Mathias would have a place to stay with his grandmother, it would be easy.
Phone calls and texts were exchanged frequently. The two kept in touch practically all day every day. They shared intimate conversations, as well as intimate relations over the phone.
But once a month had passed, all parties were eager to see the other.
“Dad, you’re going to fast!” Jake snapped at his father.
Mathias looked down at the speedometer. “Am I?”
“You’re gonna get pulled over! And I’m not going to pretend I’m sick or something to get you out of it.”
Scoffing, Mathias reluctantly let go of the vegas. “Where did you get an idea like that? I’d never ask you to do that.” There was a beat. “Maybe if it is important.”
“You’re just eager to see Ms. Audrey,” Jake mocked him.
Mathia's face and the tip of his ears grew dark. “Aren’t you excited to see Gwen?”
“Not as much as you are to see Ms. Audrey,” Jake continued to taunt. “I know what’s going on.”
He anxiously looked at his son. “Wha-what do you mean, kiddo?” He forced out a laugh.
“You like like her,” Jake smirked.
Mathias cleared his throat. “Well, yes. I do. Is that okay with you?”
“Yeah,” he shrugged. “Ms. Audrey is nice and pretty. She’s better than some people you’ve brought home.”
Mathias couldn’t argue with that. “Well, I may never have a chance at someone like Audrey again. I’m not wasting it.”
“Good. Don’t.”
Mathias arrived at his grandmother’s place, unpacking and getting Jake settled. His grandmother sat them down for food and started making tea.
“I met your little friend,” Grandmother said.
“Did you?” Mathias’ ears perked up.
Grandmother nodded. “I wanted to meet her before you both started having your little play dates,” she chuckled knowingly. “My, my Matty, you certainly found yourself in a really good net.”
Mathias choked and had to laugh. “Granny, come on!”
“That’s what I told him,” Jake mumbled over his food.
There was a knock at the door and Mathias practically tripped over himself to answer it. Standing there was Audrey, wearing a dark blue sundress that brought out her eyes. She smiled excitedly at him.
“Long time no see,” she said.
“Yeah,” Mathias said breathlessly.
“Granny! Jake!” Gwen ran inside as the two adults stared longingly at each other. Audrey stepped forward, bending down to kiss Mathias.
That evening, Gwen and Jake had a sleepover with Granny while Mathias had one with Audrey. It didn’t take long for the two to entangle themselves with one another again. Audrey knelt over on all fours while Mathias pounded into her from behind, his fingers sinking into her plump ass.
“I needed this so bad!” Audrey whined.
“I needed you too,” Mathias snarled through his teeth. “Oh fuck! You feel amazing Audrey!”
“Yes! I love your cock!”
“It’s yours! All yours,” he panted.
“I want you to cum in me!” Audrey cried out. “Fill me with your cum!”
His stride went faster, harder. “I will! Fuck! I will, baby!”
Audrey fell from her palms, burying her face into the pillows. She cried out, gasping for breath as his heat flooded inside her. His cock twitched, his body went rigid. Mathias’ fingers gripped hard as his breath escaped him.
Mathias pulled out, watching a drip of his cum slide from her lips. Audrey fell over, smiling brightly as she caught her breath. He laid down beside her, swooning, his vision blurry.
“Phone sex doesn’t do you justice,” Audrey giggled.
He smirked. “Guess not.”
Audrey wiggled up closer, wrapping herself around Mathias. “I’m glad you’re here. I missed you.”
He sighed and nodded. “Me too.”
It was quiet for a long moment, they both breathed and relaxed, enjoying the presence of the person they missed so greatly.
“I’m falling for you,” Audrey murmured.
“Me too.”
Audrey sat up with him, both looking at one another with serious glints.
“So, what do we do about it?” Mathias asked.
Audrey sighed, thinking for a moment. “We keep doing what we are. Until we can’t stand it at least. Maybe I come down on some weekends. Maybe we meet halfway sometimes.” She shrugged and put on a smile.
“But what about when it gets serious?” He asked. “In your mind, what would be the perfect situation?”
“I’m not sure. I just know there wouldn’t be two hours between us.” Audrey tilted her head to her shoulder. “You’d live here, Jake and Gwen grow up as best friends. You have your bar in town and everyone loves it. You sell the best hot wings and win awards.”
Mathias chuckled.
“We’d see each other every day, we’d have dates, I’d dress up every time. We’d have sex until we were sick of another,” she giggled.
Mathias smirked. “That’ll never happen.”
She looked into his eyes again. “We’d fall in love, share a home.”
Mathias nodded. “That’s the goal then.”
They had both first seen each other checking into the hotel. It was a casual glance, one that neither would think about even in their most bored of moments. But they would, but both would recall it differently. He would remember her smile the most. She would remember his eyes. But it had all started with a glance that, for most, would mean nothing. But for them, it was the start of everything.

Mathias the Goblin: Part One
Tumblr media
Do you believe in life after love? Sometimes, you have to move on from something, good or bad. Finding love with someone else can be scary, hell, involve kids and it can get real scary. but imagine if you will, the wonderful atmosphere of a vacation, an amusement park can be hectic. You'd want an extra set of hands, right?
Female Main Character x Male Monster
Tumblr media
They had both first seen each other checking into the hotel. It was a casual glance, one that neither would think about even in their most bored of moments. Audrey was checking in, her daughter’s hand in her own as she spoke to the front desk. Mathias had just done the same and was pulling his luggage while his young son rode upon it.
Mathias spotted Audrey first, and how could he not. She was a beautiful, shapely goddess. Her lilac skin was flecked with darker freckles, and her long white hair really brought out the dark blue of her eyes.
It was only when Mathias was entering the elevator did Audrey noticed him. But only because she missed getting on with him. She did notice the strong arms and barreled chest of the handsome goblin. But it was his laughter with his son that really perked her curiosity.
The next time the two spotted one another was when they were coming out of their rooms. They were next door to one another with a room between them. Mathias was going to get ice while Audrey was going to get some fun drinks. They stood in the elevator, quiet and still.
“Slow, ain’t it?” Mathias was the first to break the ice.
Audrey looked at him surprised, having not spoken to a soul besides her daughter for most of the day. “Oh. Yes!” She laughed. She fidgeted with her long white hair. “That’s what my daughter said when we first got on.”
“I timed it,” Mathias said. “Takes about one minute to get to each floor.” He was teasing, trying to make a joke to see what reaction the beautiful woman made.
“So we’re stuck here for five?” Audrey giggled.
Mathias blushed. “Not that long really.”
Smiling, Audrey gave Mathias a quick once over. He was handsome, with beautiful brown eyes and a strong, if not crooked, nose. His hair was a little messy, but she could tell he was used to pushing it back from his face.
“Are you here for the Haunted Menagerie as well?” Audrey asked.
Mathias cleared his throat, trying to shake off his earlier embarrassment. “Yeah. My son is really excited about it.”
“So is my Gwen,” she sighed. “She won an invite to the Cursed Shipwreck party and she will not stop talking about anything else.”
Mathias’ ears twitched. “So did my Jake! He got it at school for reading the most books in a semester.”
The smile on her face grew. “How often did you spend at the library? My girl would want to go there every free moment she got.”
Laughing, Mathias nodded. “He even went into his grandmother’s books and tried to get me to read him Stephen King. He said that book would get him all the points he needed.”
“Mine thought the dictionary would work!”
The door pinged open and the two stepped out. Mathias then held up his ice bucket. “Well, if I see you around, don’t feel like a stranger.”
“Thanks,” she felt a bit unsure. It had been so nice talking to another adult.
Mathias then caught sight of the wedding ring on her finger and his hesitation grew. “Well, have a good evening.”
“You too.” They split, going separate ways for their end goals.
It was the next day they saw each other again, this time it was at the amusement park. The park was popular among families, and during the fall months, it put on the Haunted Menagerie, where ghosts took over the attractions and made the main parts of the park spooky, haunted, etc.
Audrey was getting water at a cart with Mathias and his son walked up for the same. “Busy day?” Mathias asked.
Audrey turned and smiled brightly. “Well, hello there.” She collected her water and stepped aside when Gwen came over to see who her mother was talking to. “Having fun?”
“No!” Jake blurted out.
Gwen looked taken aback.
“I can’t ride anything fun because my dad made me short!” Jake pouted, tilting down his head.
“Yeah,” Mathias said with a defeated tone. “Us short kings are having a hard time finding things we can do.”
“There’s the teacup ride,” Gwen stated. “And then the Ferris wheel has no height limits. And then the maze would be good for you.”
Audrey smiled proudly. “When did you notice all of that?”
“I studied the park before we got here,” Gwen said smugly.
Jake looked up at her. “The Ferris wheel line was too long.”
Mathias chuckled. “I told him I didn’t mind waiting, but he said he didn’t want to make it annoying.”
Gwen jumped, grabbing Audrey’s hand and shaking it. “Then we’ll wait with you. Won’t we Mom?”
Jake peered up. “Why?”
“Because it’s fun! Plus there are ghosts on some of the Ferris wheel compartments!” Gwen was practically vibrating with excitement. “And if my mom is there then your dad won’t get bored.”
Mathias blushed and Audrey was smiling proudly at her daughter. “What do you say? We could tag team this trip?”
“Okay. Dad?” Jake started to come out of his pout.
“Of course,” Mathias replied. “It’ll be nice having a friend. I’m Mathias and this is my son, Jake.”
“Hi! My name is Gwen and my mom’s name is Audrey. She's half night elf and I’m only a quarter night elf” She said proudly.
“Gwen!” Audrey scolded quietly.
Mathias was trying his hardest to keep from laughing. “Well, Jake and I are both full goblin, if you can’t tell.”
“That’s cool!” Gwen announced with a strong tone.
In line for the Ferris wheel, Jake and Gwen bonded instantly. They talked about the books they read to win the Ghost Ship Invite.
“He’s usually so shy,” Mathias said to break the silence between the adults.
“Not her! She could make a walnut come out of its shell,” Audrey chuckled. She fiddled with the end of her braid, nervous hands.
Mathias noticed how good her legs looked in her shorts. The mint green complemented her lilac skin tone, and they hugged the plumpness of her thighs. He looked away quickly, scolding himself for ogling a married woman.
“So, where did y'all come from?” Mathias asked, drinking water to distract himself.
“Rose Creek,” she answered brightly. She took note of his shirt hanging open. The sleeves were cut off, so it showed his side boob as well as his strong stomach. Her lips pursed in girlish attraction.
Mathias lifted his lips from his water bottle. “Ah! I know Rose Creek! My grandmother lives there.”
That excited Audrey. “Oh, so you’re close by?”
Shaking his head, Mathias made a sour face. “About two hours away.”
Her excitement was quashed. “Still, not a bad drive if you needed to see your grandmother.”
Mathias shrugged. “I’d love to be closer. She and Jake are really attached.”
Her dark eyes looked at Jake and Gwen giggling together, huddled over as if they were having some secret conference. “Gwen’s close to her uncle, and he lives quite a ways away too. It’s hard to do visits, especially with school and work.” She huffed and crossed her arms against her ample chest.
The line moved forward slowly, but eventually, they got to the front where a ghostly attendant warned the crowd that certain compartments of the Ferris wheel were haunted and that they could be joined by a ghost who would tell them scary stories.
Much to Gwen and Jake’s excitement, they joined a group of kids for such a ride. Audrey and Mathias were then put into a compartment all to themselves.
“The view should be great from here,” Mathias muttered, trying to keep a conversation going. “We’ll be able to see the apple orchard down the road.”
“I tried to get Gwen to go to that, but she said it would be boring. We have apples at home, she said.”
Mathias bursted out laughing. “You have a handful I see.”
“Thank goodness. I wouldn’t know what else to do if she was anything else.” Audrey glanced out the window. “She was…quiet for a while.”
He furrowed his brows. “What do you mean?”
“Sorry. It’s nothing” Audrey tried to brush it off. “I don’t want to ruin the good vibes of this trip.”
There was hurt in her eyes, which was obvious, but he didn’t want to push the subject further. “If Jake and Gwen become friends, we may not be able to shake each other this week.”
Audrey’s face lit up. “I wouldn’t mind. Would you?”
His cheeks started turning shades. “Not at all. Might make this more fun, especially for Jake since he can’t get on many rides.”
“Well then, we have nothing but time in this Ferris wheel. Tell me about yourself Mathias!” her voice was bright and excited. It made Mathias nervous.
“Oh uh…well uhm.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “I own a bar back home in Hornfort.”
Cupping her hand over her mouth, Audrey horribly attempted to keep from snickering and giggling. “Oh gosh, you live in Horny Fart?”
Mathias rolled his eyes. “How old are you?”
“Old enough to know better!”
He nodded. “Yeah, I live there. I have a bar, but it’s pretty quiet. Been thinking about turning it into a coffee shop during the day.”
“Good idea! In this economy, if anything does well, it’s coffee.”
He nodded. “My thoughts exactly. Then, I won’t always have to work nights, and I don’t have to leave my son with his mom all the time.”
Audrey saw an opening. “You’re not together?”
He shook his head. “It was a one-night stand sort of thing. We’re friends, but it’s never been more than that.”
“Ah, I see.” Audrey nodded along.
Mathias motioned to her. “What do you do?”
“I’m a pharmacist. Used to work at this little mom-and-pop joint before a big chain store took over and bought the place out.” She rolled her eyes. “Now I work there.”
“Oof,” he grunted. “Do you like it?”
“Not as much as the mom and pop, but aside from having a shit ton of people daily, it’s essentially the same.” She fidgeted with her hair again. “I can’t complain too much. They’re very good about my hours so I get to spend time with Gwen.”
Eyes flicking to her wedding band, Mathias is just about to build up the courage to ask her about her husband when the Ferris wheel stops. They both hear screaming from the haunted compartment and share a laugh.
Audrey looks outside, a bright smile on her face. “Oh wow. It’s beautiful.”
“That’s not the only thing,” the words slip out from his lips. But luckily they are quiet and he quickly clams up.
“Hm?” She turned back.
“Yeah, it’s gorgeous.” Mathias scoots closer to the window. “I’ve always preferred fall to anything else.”
“Me too,” Audrey cooed. “I had my wedding in an apple orchard just like that.”
Mathias swallowed. “Lucky guy you got there.”
Her smile vanished and her eyes turned sad. “Yeah,” she said half-heartedly.
“Sorry. Did I say something wrong?” Mathias asked.
Sitting back in her seat Audrey sighs heavily. She puts her ringed hand to her chest. “My husband passed a few years ago. So I wouldn’t exactly say he was lucky.”
“Oh!” His stomach dropped even more. “I’m so sorry.”
“No, no. It’s okay.” She looked back up into his eyes. “Nothing to apologize about,” she muttered.
Mathias swallowed, trying to think of something to say to break the tension. Then the Ferris wheel started moving again
“What are you going to be doing the night of the ghost ship thing?” He rubbed the back of his neck out of nerves.
She glanced back at him. “Oh. I don’t know. I hadn’t really thought about it,” she murmured. “I was thinking that possibly I would go to the swimming pool for a bit. Maybe get a drink or something. I’m not used to having Gwen around,” she chuckled.
“Same.” he cleared his throat. “If you don’t mind, maybe we could hang out that evening. I know you probably won’t want to get too far from the hotel, just in case. But uhm…we could do something.”
“That’d be fun!” Audrey wiggled in excitement. “There’s a bar at the adult’s only pool. We could just hang out there. Do you like to swim?”
Mathias blushed. “I do.” He lied.
“Perfect! I got a brand new bathing suit and I thought I would never get to use it.”
That got his imagination spiraling. Mathias could only think of what she looked like in her bathing suit. He shook his head, trying to shake away anything indecent.
As they all got off the Ferris wheel, dark clouds were gathering, so the four decided to get something to eat in case it did start to rain.
“No worries if it does,” Audrey said as they waited to be seated. She held up her massive backpack, which must have weighed more than Jake's. “I have umbrellas, ponchos, phone chargers-” she went on and on with a list that started to make Mathias feel guilty because he only brought spare clothes and sunscreen.
In the restaurant, they were seated at a comfy booth next to the window. As they ordered the sky grew dark, as their food arrived, the rain came down and there was practically no one outside.
“Awww! We won’t be able to do the maze,” Gwen whined.
“Don’t let that get you down,” Audrey chuckled. “We can always go with our ponchos.” She looked across the table at Mathias and gave him a wink.
With a beat-skipping heart, Mathias tried to keep a focus on his food. He almost ate the decorative cup that held his ‘ghost bun’.
Audrey kept stealing glances at Mathias, watching him tenderly care for Jake, handing him napkins, and adding ketchup to his fries. His hands looked strong, and those thick arms looked like they could maybe lift her. She blushed, pressing her lips together as she poked at her fancy pasta dish.
“Mama always said a distinctive nose meant a distinctive-” She cut off her thought before she ran too far with it. It had been a while since she had last slept with a man. Lately, she had been feeling that old urge again. The sudden death of her husband had halted all those feelings. But the past year she was feeling open and welcomed the idea of a lover or friend with benefits.
Mathias too hadn’t had much fun either. His focus had been on his changing business as well as his son. He couldn’t remember the last time he felt the sweet warmth of a woman wrapped around him. At least, none like Audrey.
They caught each other’s eyes in the middle of such thoughts, and for a moment, it was like they understood. The silence needed nothing to be said. Both were horny, and both enjoyed each other’s presence. Would it be so wrong to indulge? A simple act during a weekend? Fucking. Enjoying bodies, enjoying someone else’s affections?
“Mom! Look!” Gwen’s voice broke their symbiotic stare and Audrey’s attentions were turned to her daughter, while Mathias gulped down his entire glass of cold water.
Outside in the storm, there was a line of ghostly dressed park attendants moving around stalls and switching things around while no one was out and about.
After they ate, the rain was fading, and the park was practically empty. The rides Jake couldn’t get on were mostly closed until they dried, but the maze and a few other attractions were open, and the wait time was nothing. The day was spent in gray, soggy weather, but it didn’t matter. The kids had a blast, and so did their parents.
That evening, Gwen and Jake played video games in Audrey’s room while Mathias and Audrey had some alone time in his room.
“I can’t remember the last time I had a good beer,” Audrey sighed as she lounged on the small porch attached to Mathias’ room. From there, they could see Gwen and Jake playing on Jake’s switch.
“I have them a lot I’m afraid,” Mathias chuckled.
Audrey gazed out across the hotel gardens. “At least you have a job that requires socializing. I just have company with pills.” She sputtered as she took a drink. “Oh, that sounded so dark!”
Mathias laughed, reaching out and patting her thigh. Both realized what that meant and Mathias recoiled his hand back while Audrey took a chance to inch closer. “Hopefully tomorrow will be fun for the kids. The ghost ship sleepover is supposed to be really good.”
“Yeah. I heard,” Mathias muttered.
Audrey licked her lips, glancing down at Mathias’ lap. It wouldn’t be too awful to take him inside really quick. Would it? She fidgeted in her seat, getting hot and bothered at the idea.
“Need another?” Mathias stood up to go inside.
Audrey wanted to follow. “Oh, sure.”
Then they heard it.
Moaning.
Thudding.
They both exchanged looks as the neighbors who had the room between theirs started making very loud, very passionate love.
They both looked away from one another. Moaning, more moaning. Crying out in an impassioned plea.
“Maybe we should check on the kids,” Audrey muttered.
“Yeah, we should.” Mathias followed her out of his room. The moaning was louder outside.
“Oh dear,” Audrey giggled.
“Hush,” Mathias laughed with her.
Audrey smirked. “Must be having a lot of fun in there.” She looked to Mathias and that silent want between them returned. They were quiet, standing halfway between their rooms. Audrey licked her lips and Mathias cleared his throat.
I want to suck your cock, Audrey tried to get across.
Please, let me make you cum, Mathias tried to get to her.
The moaning broke both their concentration, and the message was lost. Audrey was the first to turn away, averting her eyes and placing her hand over her cheek.
“I hope to god the kids don’t hear that!”
Mathias took a deep disappointed breath. “Yeah. They should be okay on the porch.” he followed after her, resigning to just having a crush on the woman he met at the theme park.
