i’m sorry as a woman im imagining what it was like for miranda to be completely shunted to the side by flint the moment they arrived in nassau, to go from being her husband and friend’s equal partner in their pursuits to some “fancy bit of puritan tail”. and of course flint says he doesn’t see her that way and of course she knows she’s not a fighter and can’t join him on the walrus but god, to be stuck in that goddamn house away from literally all the action. playing nurse to her new psuedo-husband when he comes home to her on death’s door. and for all flint’s insistence that “these men are dangerous, these men will kill you, you’re safer here while i go out and do all the dirty work”, well… in walks eleanor.

In defence of Undertale Yellow, how it can work with Undertale’s canon
So, I have seen a lot of debating recently on Undertale Yellow and whether or not it fits what we know already about the lore in Undertale. Of course Flowey’s presence in the mod is the primary thing that has sparked this debate, with many believing that he can’t have existed at the same time as the Justice Soul and that it is a major hole that breaks the continuity of Undertale. I however, as someone who has spent way too much time with Undertale and has vast knowledge about even the most obscure of details in the game, disagree. I believe that Undertale Yellow fits the original games canon well… maybe a bit too well, and I am here to give my own arguments against the things that I commonly see people say doesn’t fit the original game’s continuity. This may contain a few spoilers for Undertale Yellow, so unless you’ve already seen all 3 routes or for whatever reason don’t care about having the game spoiled, don’t read further until you are done.
Argument 1: all the Souls were already collected by the creation of Flowey and the amalgamates
Okay so this one I don’t really have much to say about. Yes Flowey and the Amalgamates were created using the SOULs of some of the collected humans, however it’s never specified that it was from 6 humans, all that’s made clear is that Asgore did have human SOULs (in plural) that were used in the experiment.
Tumblr media
Argument 2: the timeline doesn’t match up
The timeline has always been a confusing topic among the Undertale community. While the most likely estimate of the gap between Chara and Frisk falling is 100 years due to what Sans tells us during his date.
Tumblr media
There are a few reasons for us to believe that the gap is much smaller, especially considering the weird nature of the Deltarune timeline and the supposed grudge Chara seems to have against Snowdrake in Genocide (who is stated to only be a teenager).
Tumblr media
However, no matter how you view the timeline, unless you have specific dates in mind for things like when Gaster was the Royal Scientist and when the fall of Integrity-Justice happened, or think the gap was REALLY short, Undertale Yellow doesn’t really contradict it too much. The game itself is meant to take place just a year before Undertale, with all the same characters existing in similar positions to how they do by the time of Undertale, however we never encounter them due to being on a completely different path that takes us to very different parts of the underground, being why they don’t behave like they encountered a human before in Undertale.
Integrity is a bit more interesting, because it can vary massively depending on how you view the lifespans of the Ketsukane’s, Starlo (Starlo won’t be important to this, but I mention him since he was childhood friends with Ceroba) and Dalv. It is strongly implied that as a kid, Dalv was best friends with Kanako, and was attacked by the Integrity human some point before the games events. At first you’d assume that this was all not meant to be long before the events of the game, however, Integrity was killed by Axis in UTY, a robot that was being worked on by Chujin back when the Steamworks were still in operation, which we can assume was long before the events of the game due to the state of the Steamworks itself and the fact it is stated to have been used as the source of all power in the underground, which would mean it would likely have shut down around the period that the CORE was first put into operation, so all the way back when Gaster was still the Royal Scientist, whenever you think that was (Axis wasn’t sent to kill the human until after Chujin was fired from his position, however due to the way Axis is locked up and deactivated before we wake up the Steamworks, we can assume he was shut down with the rest of the facility). On top of all this Dalv is shown to be a lot older than he presumably would have been when he was attacked by Integrity, and with him being a Vampire, you could say that he aged that much at a slower rate than a human would, with the Ketsukane’s also aging slow, 2 of them being Boss Monsters and one of them being a 9 tailed fox. We know that some monsters do likely age at very different rates due to monsters like Gerson who lived through the war.
So to give the whole timeline, basically, Chujin worked in the Steamworks and made Axis back before or during Gaster’s time as the royal scientist. After several failed prototypes that eventually got Chujin fired, Axis was sent to chase down and kill Integrity. He managed and Chujin kept the Soul hidden and over the span of years recorded a few tapes for what he had planning, meanwhile Dalv, who was previously attacked by Integrity, went into hiding, locking himself into a mostly dark and unknown part of the ruins. At some point when Alphy’s became the Royal Scientist, Chujin started to mentor Martlet, which led Martlet to enter the True Lab and get some strange serum. Eventually Chujin died around a year or two before UTY, revealing his hidden tapes to Ceroba, which Kanako overheard. This led to Ceroba attempting to inject Kanako with the Integrity soul, leading to Kanako falling and being donated to Alphy’s, and her of course then becoming an amalgamate.
Argument 3: Asgore killed all 6 of the other humans
Okay so this one is interesting, because Undyne does imply that humans before Frisk did make it to Asgore, with her saying that “no human has ever made it PAST Asgore” rather than “no human has ever made it TO Asgore”
Tumblr media
The thing is, that other humans reached Asgore is all this really does imply, it doesn’t necessarily mean all humans made it to Asgore. You could argue that most of them died to Asgore, with Integrity and Justice being the only exceptions. If you really want to stretch you could even say that this line was actually just another attempt from Undyne to make Asgore sound like a powerful and threatening force (since she tries to make him out like that quite a bit in her fight, such as by saying that killing us is an act of mercy right after this), although I find this unlikely.
There is another line of dialogue that I sometimes see used to try and prove that Asgore killed all 6, and while it’s not used close to as much, I’ll still just quickly clear it up.
Tumblr media
This doesn’t really mean that much, all it’s saying is that all the humans that leave the ruins inevitably die. She likely wouldn’t know any details on their deaths do to her isolation, and even if she had some knowledge she would probably still place the blame on Asgore due to his part in waging war and coming up with the plan to kill 7 humans in the first place.
Argument 4: The introduction of new incredibly powerful characters makes no sense
Okay, so this is a weird one, however the explanation for it is fairly simple. Nobody in UTY compares to the original Undertale cast when it comes to how “powerful” they are. We struggle so much against the opponents we face as Clover because well… Clover is much weaker than Frisk, bosses like Ceroba and Axis pale in comparison to Undyne and Mettaton, they just seem much harder since we are playing as a human with much less determination than Frisk. In Pacifist Clover fights a depressed fox lady, meanwhile Frisk fights a literal god; in Neutral Clover goes through a struggle fighting through Flowey’s mind after having his Soul absorbed, meanwhile Frisk holds on against Flowey with 6 Souls until those Souls rebel; and in Genocide Clover takes some time to finally destroy Axis, the failed prototype that got Chujin fired, meanwhile Frisk atomised Mettaton NEO, The greatest invention of the Scientist who was selected to replace Gaster, in a single blow.
The only Undertale Yellow character that I’d say surpasses any character in Undertale would of course be Zenith Martlet, but even then LV 19 Frisk would mop the floor with her, while LV 19 Clover had to go through a lot of effort to beat her, only ever managing to surpass Flowey in Determination after doing so. At LV 20 both Clover and Frisk have massive boosts from LV 19, however Frisk is far stronger, having awakened Chara and caused the destruction of everything, while Clover just destroys Asgore with a super laser blast directly from their Soul and leaves.
Argument 5: miscellaneous
Just to clear up any further confusion, I’ll give quick explanations for some more minor points that I have encountered
Nobody in the original Undertale apart from Flowey, Toriel and Asgore meets Clover, so the other monsters in Undertale acting like they had never met one makes sense.
Flowey not just stealing Clovers Soul is explained well by the game itself. He plans to, however he doesn’t get the chance in Pacifist; sees that we couldn’t surpass Asgore in Flawed Pacifist; steals our soul but is unsatisfied with the outcome and resets in Neutral, and gets gunned down in Genocide.
Toriel believing that it’s been a long time since a previous human fell when she sees Frisk in Undertale doesn’t mean much, she mostly lives isolated in the Ruins, with the other monsters being too afraid to speak with her, considering this and just generally how much seemed to have happened within that year, time could have felt much slower. Alternatively you could argue that the 6 humans all fell within months of each other, and that a years gap is a long time in comparison to the rate the first 6 fell (or 5, since she says the exact same thing to Clover).
Both Flowey and Clover using file 1 at the end of Genocide doesn’t fit what we know about save files no, however I feel it is a little nit-picky to use it as a definitive reason to discredit how well UTY fits into canon, after all the only thing you’d need to do is change the numbers and this would be fixed.
The Gunsmith having been born a week before the Human Vs Monster war doesn’t go against anything we already know. As stated before, we know that at least some monsters like Gerson do live for a very long time.
Flowey having more determination than Clover also doesn’t break anything. Flowey was injected with DT from 5 human Souls. The thing is that Frisk was special when it came to the amount of determination they had.
Unlike with most of the other cast, nobody in Undertale actually indicates that Flowey never met a human prior to Frisk.
Chujin being a boss Monster doesn’t contradict what we know about Boss Monsters. We know that the Dreemurrs are boss monsters, but nothing tells us that they are the only boss monsters.
Argument 6: the nature of the SAVE files contradicts Undertale Yellow
Here we go, the penultimate argument I shall argue against. Never did I expect for this obscure piece of Undertale lore to be the bane of my existence but here we are. For a short time I thought that this could not be countered, only after I had walked away from a discussion completely defeated did the pieces finally start to come together, and now finally… I have an explanation.
First things first, let’s look at the 10 save files. The files go from file 0 to file 9. We know that File 0 likely belongs to Chara due to it being the one that we save with in Undertale, and that file 9 belongs to Frisk since it works as the games Autosave/Checkpoint system. File 8 would then of course belong to Flowey, not just because it’s the one just before Frisks but because File 8 appears in your files after you beat Omega Flowey to mark your completion of a Neutral run, likely implying that his previous SAVE was of course when he was Omega Flowey. Flowey also uses files 2, 3 and 6 throughout the Omega Flowey battle, and since Toriel implies that other humans who fell were also able to save and reset, we can assume that 2-6 likely belonged to previously fallen humans.
Tumblr media
Now the only files that need an explanation are file 1 and file 7, and I’ve seen 2 interesting theories for this. The first is that file 1 belongs to Asriel after he took Chara’s Soul, and the other is that file 7 belongs to Lemon Bread since they know what a SAVE point looks like and tries to trick us with it; but the thing is, which one of these are true? Surely it can’t be both since we know one needs to belong to the 6th… okay I’ll cut that out you already know I’m going to say they are both true.
So for Asriel having file 1, he absorbed Chara’s Soul so should have all of their determination and therefore should also have overtaken their ability to SAVE. Of course it’s unlikely that Asriel would have made anything out of it since the idea of saving and loading was fairly alien to Flowey, however that doesn’t necessarily rule out the possibility that Asriel didn’t SAVE or at least have a file created.
Lemon Bread is a bit more complicated, and we are gonna need to look into the order of events within the True Lab to try and work this out. Firstly, we need to look at some of the true lab entries.
ASGORE asked everyone outside the city for monsters that had "fallen down."
Their bodies came in today.
They're still comatose... And soon, they'll all turn into dust.
But what happens if I inject "determination" into them?
If their SOULS persist after they perish, then...
Freedom might be closer than we all thought.
This is entry 6, when the fallen down monsters are given to Alphy’s and have Determination injected into them.
I've chosen a candidate.
I haven't told ASGORE yet, because I want to surprise him with it...
In the center of his garden, there's something special.
The first golden flower, that grew before all the others.
The flower from the outside world.
It appeared just before the queen left.
I wonder...
What happens when something without a SOUL gains the will to live?
This is entry 8, Alphy’s gets a hold of a golden flower that she injects Determination into.
“One of the bodies opened its eyes.
This is entry 13, when the fallen monsters started to regain consciousness, 7 entries after they were first delivered.
Seems like this research was a dead end...
But at least we got a happy ending out of it...?
I sent the SOULS back to ASGORE, returned the vessel to his garden....
And I called all of the families and told them everyone's alive.
I'll send everyone back tomorrow. :)
This is entry 15, by this point all the monsters that had fallen down were awake, and the still not conscious Golden Flower was still just a Flower, being returned alongside the human Souls.
no No NO NO NO NO NO
This is entry 16, the fallen down monsters started to melt together and create the amalgamates.
the flower's gone.
Finally, we have entry 18, when Alphy’s noticed that the Flower seems to have disappeared from the garden, 10 entries after she first selected it.
So, why are these entries so important? Well we know that to have ever held the ability to SAVE, Lemon Bread would have to had held the right amount of Determination before Flowey first became conscious in the garden, and did they? Yes, yes they did. Flowey could have awakened anywhere in the timeframe between entry 15 when he was returned to entry 18 when Alphy’s noticed him gone, however all the fallen down monsters that were injected with Determination were already awake by this point, and therefore prior to Flowey waking up, they would have been the most determined beings in the underground, perhaps with enough determination that whichever monster happened to have the most was able to SAVE. The time that they would have had with the ability would also have at least been for longer than Asriel had it since Flowey can’t have awoken until after a couple entries later at the bare minimum. Of course since this follows the idea that Lemon Bread had the SAVE ability since they knew what a SAVE point looks like, we can assume that the monster in question would have been Shyren’s sister, since I doubt that the Moldbygg and Aaron that also make up Lemon Bread would hold such a role.
Argument 7: Flowey’s backstory
I really thought I was done with this infuriating Flower, but it appears not. For there is a single hole I need to clear up… Flowey’s Genocide speech. Of course this should be fairly simple to clear up-
Tumblr media
Ah… well okay this makes things interesting. If Flowey didn’t know where the Souls were stored then that would make it very hard to believe that Flowey ever encountered a human before Frisk since if that were the case then Flowey would definitely have an opportunity to sneak by and see where they are hiding, however this is not what the dialogue actually means. Flowey knew where the Souls were, he sneaks in to steal them in Neutral while we are talking to a defeated Asgore, his only issue was that he wasn’t able to get them out without Asgore. In repeated Neutral runs he still just waits until we are distracted with Asgore to take the Souls, and in Pacifist he takes them while the main cast are all distracted which again is when the canisters are open and available.
On a last note, here’s some dialogue that actually helps the idea that Flowey encountered another human.
Tumblr media
It’s made clear all throughout the underground that humans have far greater Determination than monsters, and while you could argue that Flowey was just overconfident in his abilities, it’s still fairly strange that Flowey would still find a human having the DT to overwrite his abilities something special, unless of course he’d encountered a human previously who wasn’t able to do as much.
Conclusion
So, that’s about all I have to say, honestly I’m just glad to be done with it. This was a lot of work, and I’m excited to see this post which I’ve been working on for 3 days get completely dismantled almost immediately. Anyways, wish everyone reading a good day and goodbye!

A continuation of the Axi ask for @arcaneglitch (and anyone who maybe possibly is interested in my made up stories)
Tumblr media
So let's talking about Destiny 2 Axilaes =)
For the basics, he's a warlock, broodweaver specifically, he was revived in the dark ages (OLD), and he's human (albeit with cybernetics in him)
I feel like there's a lot to talk about so I'll break it down via different segments
His Timeline & History
Axi was revived in an old Braytech facility in the Dark Ages before there was any sense of a collective humanity during the time where warlords controlled land used their Light for power. He noticed he was capable of some of the same things they were, rifts, floating, and being essentially immortal as long as his Ghost was alive. But unlike the other risen he noticed his light didn't seem to manifest as any particular element, all he was really good at was making rifts, and any time he tried creating any of the other elements he saw it ended in failure. He stayed like this for a while.
Along the way he got a travelling companion, who was another risen with the same kinds of powers as him but was able to manifest a fire element power. They wandered together and exchanged their healing powers for food in the settlements they visited, but eventually they had a falling out and Axi went out on his own. He met the Drifter a few times.
He made a habit out of stalking warlords and scavenging the carnage after battles for supplies, so in legend he became kind of a ghostly figure who haunted the scenes after wars broke out. He unintentionally befriended a dog, ended up with a pack, and used his pack to help him scavenge and vulture off others. Sometimes he'd even purposefully create hostility between two opposing powers just so he could steal and pillage unnoticed. He also started to see little green wisps appear when it seemed like something important was about to happen.
When the world started shifting into a place that had more order and discipline he kept his routine by joining up with a rogue crew of Eliksni pirates. When they eventually all died, he retreated back to earth alone and decided to live isolated in silence for a while.
On his travels with the Eliksni on other planets he'd taken an interest in the foliage and flora that existed in the Sol System and especially with paracausal plants, taking note of certain kinds that would be imbued with Light or Darkness. He studied them and learned to extract and use their powers. Some risen, and guardians at this point with an interest in his work would ask him for the consumables he made, which he offered at a price. Over time he started becoming a name associated with Dredgens since they would use his concoctions to commune with Darkness or overexert their Light. At this point he'd also began understanding the green wisps and learning to control them
Drifter asked him to join in on Gambit when it started, and he refused at first. Eventually he lost a bet and was forced to play a game, and he realized he loved it. He remained a consistent player and made a slight name for himself amongst frequent Gambit players.
When strand was revealed to the cast of the game he had finally stopped hiding the fact that he'd already learned about it and managed a basic level of control over it up to that point.
Cyberware
When Axi was revived he was already equipped with a strange type of cyberware replacing his arms, lungs, heart, eyes, and parts of his spine. Despite having cybernetic eyes his vision is QUITE BAD, which was odd, until he managed to find some information at Braytech about an "experimental aquatic proto-exo" meant to be exos designed to fully inhabit water. Sure enough, underwater he's able to breathe (though not without a little discomfort) and see perfectly.
He doesn't know why he's not a finished prototype and was left primarily organic, but it doesn't bother him either way.
Personality & Relationships
At his core Axi is the type of person who just wants to live a peaceful life. He has hobbies and interests, but he's not ambitious with his work. Unfortunately (as he sees it) he's had a bad track record of getting really attached to people. Some kids back in the Dark Ages, his old dog pack, his former Eliksni crew, Lucius (who belongs to @light-thedar-k), and Elijah (who belongs to @thetruenightzedge)
Axi doesn't have much empathy for humanity in general and only wants to keep himself and those in his circle cared for, so he's very willing to jeopardize others for the sake of his own needs and feels no guilt about it. He's emotionally stunted and has a harsh personality, he scolds a lot, he's bossy and strict. With strangers he's often cocky and always unintentionally (and maybe sometimes intentionally) carrying an air of "I'm better than you" with the way he holds himself and smiles condescendingly. When he feels like he's lost control of a situation he's quick to anger and over-dramatic frustration (and frankly just going fuckin feral). He loves games and gambling and bets, and he's a real sore loser lol. When people hurt the ones he cares about he tends to go overboard with the revenge.
Lucius he met in the Reef when he lived as a pirate, and her death was one of the first to affect him as much as it did, he saw her as a sister. Elijah he fought against a few times in Gambit, and they developed a very intense horny enemies to rivals to lovers dynamic.
Extra Trivia
He's gay and transgender, and transitioned before he was revived
His Ghost is named Anem
Since the dark ages he's always been able to have visions or gut feelings about the future, so in some degree he's like a psychic but he has low control over his ability unless he meditates consistently. He often has visions of the future while he's sleeping that feel very real, and also has dreams of parts of his life in the past, so oftentimes when he wakes up he has a hard time knowing whether he's in the present past or future, and gets really disoriented. He hates sleeping.
He doesn't like to cook
He adopted two golden age sentient AIs he found and named Ćiknawi and Hari and input into his jumpship and sparrow/skimmer respectively
He's really lazy
Tumblr media
and you can have a little half assed drawing I did of him

Hey, sorry if someone already asked this, but when you think of the bimbo mentality what do you think of?
Like what is your internal model of how a bimbo brain works. Is it dumb or just preoccupied, has it forgotten things it knew or is it just that it feels so much better to think about sexy things?
And then as a bonus question, what about the bimbo body type? What comes to mind?
Oof... Well. To be honest there's so many takes on a bimbo, and there isn't just One of them that's the "correct" one to me. I wouldn't go so far as to say they're all equally valid and hot, but there's a few that are fun or hot in different ways.
There's the Really dumb bimbo of course, the totally vapid fuck doll sort of thing. Where they can barely speak or think, just exist to be a thing for other people's pleasure. This one isn't too hot for me, but I know it's big for a lot of people. To me it's more of an objectification thing, which I'm not really into.
There's the sort of "dumb blonde" stereotype, where they're basically functional people, without anything special or different sexually, but just super dumb and gullible. That can be hot.
There's the similar one that's also really slutty, basically the same thing but just "easy", like, no real compunctions about sex with whoever wants it.
There's the classic "needy bimbo slut" sort of thing that appears in many Limerick stories. Which is pretty hot to me. The one where they're mostly aware of how "strange" them being so Dumb, horny, and slutty is, but they're simply too horny to do anything about it, and desperate to get off or please others.
There's the Stepford bimbo sort of deal, where they're just kind of compliant and easy going. Bend them over to fuck them, or have them clean the house, bake brownies, whatever. Basically all in on looking pretty and serving their partner. Not so much into this one as it just kinda reeks of misogyny to me.
Then there's the whole other axis to it, to do with makeup, clothes, being ditzy or shallow. Valley girl basically. I'm not as in to this part of it.
I guess I think of "Bimbo" like a spectrum. It might be interesting to try to plot out the different axis'. Obviously there's the "Horny" axis. Then there's being "Slutty". Is that the same axis? I think no, as you could be so horny that you need to fuck, even if you aren't slutty and still feel bad about it. There's "Intelligence", obviously. As well as "Gullibility", or "Suggestibility" which can be a different thing... There's appearance, which may or may not be several different metrics... I suppose for the sake of brevity you could just condense it to all of the different aspects being lumped together in "Appearance", or "Shallowness", the amount of time and energy they spend trying to match the proper bimbo aesthetic. Even if that aesthetic actually varies from bimbo to bimbo...
So that's 5 at least. Think of any other metrics?
In terms of body, well... Big tits are a must. Personally for me, natural is way better, but I know for many people the fake plastic tits are the point. I don't feel like the hair "Needs" to be blonde, though there's a certain weight in that direction, but I do want it to be long.
Big eyes and lashes are a plus, but not necessary. Big lips, or DSL's are a big plus too, though maybe not quiiiite necessary? For me at least some attention to appearance is needed, though mostly just basic hygiene, I don't care much about makeup or being primped and such. Just clean. Hell someone who's really hot (which ideally a bimbo is) doesn't really need makeup anyway, so it's really if you want that fake look, which I'm not into. I guess a natural makeup, enhancing things is good, but I'm really not into the fake plastic appearance.
Mostly curves. A bimbo should be soft, not ripped, so high enough body fat to round everything out. And personally I think sensitivity is a must. A bimbo should obviously get off on having her tits played with, and just generally be helpless to resist how good her body feels.
Obviously people are going to differ greatly here. *shrug*

Opinions of furries?
From being a furry for decades, i can give you bit of information on it all in case you dont know. There is different "catogries" of furries. I can say that there is a hypothetical graphic that all furry charracters can stumble on.
The x axis would be the level of anthropomorphisation. the extremes going: (-100) Human (fully human. No anthropormorphisation whatsoever), (0) Anthro (the blend between feral and human. Characters tend to walk on two legs, skeletons and anatomy are usually changed, etc,), (100) Feral (Literally an animal).
The y axis is the aesthetic style your character is intended to be in: (-100) Toony (Stylized in a way that is very cartoonish. Big expressive eyes, distinct character design, etc,) (100) Feral (Literally an animal).
The z axis is the intelligence/sentience your character have: (-100) Human (fully capable of all of the abstract human thought and intelligence and critical thinking), (100) Feral (Literally an animal. Usually aligned with the level of intelligence/behaviour the species of the character.).
A character that is (0, 0, 0) Is i would say your average furry.
A character that is (100, 100, 100) would be a straight up animal. a whole ass animal with no unrealistic characteristics or behaviors. like a frog or something.
A character that is (-100, -100, -100) It is just a human person that is stylized in a cartoony way.
Most furries have fursona characters that are only existing in artistic form. Like drawing on a computer or a paper sheet. Most do not own fursuit costumes.
I am wanted to know curiously what you think about the furries. Where do you draw line? Do you not like things certain?
good day for you, i hope
excuse myself for the not so good wording english is not my first language
Mate I've spent the past 15 minutes or so staring at this and trying to puzzle out how to respond to furry algebra in my fucking inbox.
Funny answer: If you've got a hide to peel and look like an animal then I'm hunting you like an animal. Smart as people makes the job fun. Rare, unique, artistic? Sounds like it'd be nice trophy over my mantle. I'm sharpening my skinning knives and you should start running.
Real answer: Iunno, mate, furries make me really bloody uncomfortable. Even a human body with animal ears and tail kinda toe the line for me. It crosses wires in my brain that don't jive well. When I was younger I liked the art of, er, anthro wolves and shit (think Native American-esque themes, with natural colours, not sparkledog stuff) because I thought it looked cool but the community's always kinda given me a weird vibe and whatever interest I mighta had completely detached with the whole Kero situation in addition to having some... unpleasant interactions with people in the community. I want nothing to do with the community at all at this point, not even the art. Gives me the creeps, especially the more sexual aspect.
If you're a furry you can still interact of course, I just... don't wanna be sent furry stuff. Makes me uncomfortable. One of the few tags I've got blacklisted here.

HXH vol 1-3 notes
Every line is snapped to a curve. Every shape is filled to the brim with whatever hatching or ink it’s meant to have. The tightest manga you’ll ever see. And then the lizard is so beautifully watercoloured that you can feel the scales
The hand-drawn backgrounds make it apparent how much of backgrounds in current manga are 3D modelled/photo edits. This is not a bad thing for modern manga. I like to see a beautiful quotidian setting that a poor overworked assistant did not die to produce. It’s also so so cute to have the simple cartoony bushes
Gon is (: a treat to have for a main character. He’s so interesting! A little boy who is not all there
First time around HXH I loved it and it stuck in my brain but only Kurapika, and I was still so hung up on Yorknew that I didn’t really register or understand the rest of it. Downsides to HXH basically being 2 totally separate arcs quilted together (they did say it had a JJBA influence…)
Poor Aunt Mito. More evidence that Gon is a little…
I had 100% forgotten Kite got introduced here
Leorio is 19????? This makes sense…
Different stories exist on different planes of reality and disbelief. HxH exists on the single top plane of disbelief. The tone and content are impossible to reconcile so you just have to let go of any kind of expectation and be free!
The Hunter Exam arc lasts longer than expected
How on earrrtth can they run that far. That is 2 marathons. And then summer camp starts (see aforementioned disbelief)
Body count is Mad High (see aforementioned disbelief). People just keep dying!
This may be my chance to separate Hisoka entirely from anime/Heaven’s Arena ver. and see why he’s my sister’s favourite
The ♦️unique speech bubbles ♣️ are certainly ♠️ a charm point ♥️
Imagining voices to go with the characters is a challenge. They are all so big-eyed and squeaky in my head. At the same time I remember being 12 and what the 12-year-olds in my class sounded like
My youthful Kurapika obsession hasn’t faded. Sorry mutuals. He’s well-spoken.
Culinary challenge minigame is a bit weak
Midnight game is v fun. Bonding time.
HxH is the most video game a thing can get without being a video game. The blobby shapes. The simple backgrounds. The vivid green of a Pokémon or BotW. The levelling up. I don’t know enough about games to be sure but I want to say that it consciously steals Pokémon’s look
The hunt is on!! Great tension in Gon’s pursuit. I was waiting with bated breath
‘197’ <- I did chuckle
Leorio is the failed main character who never actually gets an arc, but the role he plays is to bring everyone else together. He can’t do it himself. We have to help him together. He needs to stick around or else they’d all shake hands and never again see each other. He is a babysitter not much older than a baby himself
Gon and Kurapika’s bond is so sweet! Underrated axis of character relations. Kurapika always has an answer to Gon’s questions (even if it’s wrong) while Gon opens a whole new world of problem-solving for a vengeance-fixated teen. They care about each other very much, even if it’s just because Gon cares about everyone and even if Kurapika isn’t going to let it go beyond casual cooperation
Hiss-o-ka. Feel sorry for the guy who was just trying to get his license (see aforementioned disbelief)
I don’t know what roles Illumi and Hisoka play with respect to one another and at this point I’m not going to ask. Drinking buddies.
Killua time! Eat your heart out, everyone else
Leorio almost solved his puzzle in a remarkably clever way. Rip.
HxH has a world you should never think about for more than 5 seconds
Off to be final…
Another remarkable blast of tonal dissonance. Yay! Hanzo broke his arm for the greater good (?). The creepiness of the situation does heighten Gon’s wrongness so it works
Killua and Gon’s relationship is the bedrock of the story. I do not remember it being so explicitly stated or so early
‘There has to be something you want in the world that is strong enough that you will break away from us’ well.
Zoldyk arc! A classic. Silva is despicable. I feel like this one went a little better in the animation with the dark colouring and the saturated hues.
Killua breaking out of the dungeon is the scene in so many ways. He can leave, he just needs a reason
Gon HxH and Oz PH have some similarities and Gon HxH and Alice PH have some similarities
Alluka already exists. Illumi- Milluki - Killua - [REDACTED] - Kalluto
Most of what I am feeling during the read is sad for Killua
There’s a bit of a balance of power between narrator characters and main/protagonist/active characters. Narrators are aware of the consequences of the protagonist’s actions as well as where they fit into an overarching narrative, narrators can rationalize and contextualize the seemingly random events around them. Because Gon doesn’t understand any of this, he needs a narrator (Kurapika or Killua). Killua is doomed to be aware of what Gon is doing to him and what is happening to Gon. He can’t tell him, he can’t escape it, he doesn’t want to, his role is to Observe and Know the way his entire self is being warped, and he legally can’t do anything about it because he is not the protagonist
Off to Heaven’s Arena…

hi, i’m trying to type my friend and i’m fairly sure she’s an extravert. she interacts with and wants to be in the outside world a lot, even when she’s alone, she’ll be on social media, reading gossip forums, or watching TV (almost like she always needs external stimulation?) she says her greatest fear is to be alone.
This could also be high Se, to be honest, it doesn’t have to mean extroversion (constant stimulation and a need to stay busy and engaged with something).
she seems to use ni-se axis as well, since she has this vision of her life that she wants but can feel hopeless when her current circumstances are bad, like there’s no point to planning ahead if she can’t see past the dread of that day.
This is most common in SFP types, because all they can see is how they feel right now, right now is all that exists, so if right now is lousy, they fear that how they feel today is going to be how they feel forever.
she’s a perfectionistic when it comes to something about her future, like career or love interest. if there’s a huge exam, she’ll study extra hard to ensure there’s no possibility she fails. if there’s a person who she can’t see being her significant other down the line, she’ll dismiss them and keep them as a friend or ghost them.
I assume she reaches the latter judgments rather quickly? Could ISFP fit? Rapid judgment (Fi/Ni: I am not feeling this and it’s not fitting the life I want).
on the flip-side, when she really likes someone, she sort of idealizes them and creates an image in her head of what they’re like and how they’d be together.
This could be high intuition, or a romantic nature, or a positive Enneagram type that is prone to idealization and fantasizing.
she’s very logical when she’s not involved in a situation and can tell a friend the blunt reality of things, but when she’s involved, it’s harder for her to do the same.
Se users are pretty realistic and objective about other people’s lives (Se/Te in particular) but high Fi isn’t good at objectivity when their emotions are involved.
as for se, she’s very adaptable and loves the typical se-ish things, like fast cars, loud music, adrenaline-pumping activities. but she can be very impulsive, like spending way too much money, thinking she needs the items sooner than later, and then regret it after or throwing her TV remote in anger and accidentally breaking the TV. she’s not one to throw all caution to the wind though and likes to have a comfort zone to retreat to.
This might fit SP 9w8.
as for fi-te/ti-fe, i’m not sure. she’s very open about her political beliefs. she can sometimes press her values onto others and expect other people to adhere to it.
This is where it doesn’t work.
Fi-dom doesn’t demand others adhere to their views, although a 9w8 will be more black and white/forceful in stating their opinions. IFP 9w8 is more “let me be me, I let you be you, you push me, I lash out at you.” So you would need to dig into why she needs/wants others to agree with her. Is it just that she’s asserting her own values and expecting others to respect them (high Fi)? If so, that would fit SFP. Trying to change other people’s minds aggressively would not fit IFP and would be more strong Fe territory.
her political beliefs and religion she was raised with clash, so she doesn’t identify with it anymore but she still goes to church every week with her family just because they expect her to.
This is attachment, which is why I said 9, but it could also be 6 (and 6 would also fit with pressing her views on others -- 6s want people to validate them as right by agreeing with their position on something; they are fearful of differences, and so try to influence others into sharing their beliefs, regardless of type). This might also indicate Fe, depending on her reasoning (”I want to avoid conflict” vs Fe “this is what they need from me.”)
it’s also easy to tell when she’s upset because she gets quiet, and it’s easy to read her emotions. she won’t say what’s going on outright but if you ask her, she’ll tell you what she’s upset about.
Again, iffy. Less IFP than other types.
she’s often the mediator of the friend group since she’s great at handling conflicts and never gets into those herself.
This is why I think core 9. Mediation, avoidance of conflict, bringing peace between others, while being detached.
she’s really great at explaining difficult things in a way that’ll make sense to others, sort of condensing the info to make it comprehensible.
I would need an example of this to say what it “is.” Simplification usually involves decent judging skills, but it can be facts-driven (Te) or catering the message to your audience (Fe).
she hates when people are confused/not understanding a problem even when it’s written in clear instructions somewhere else or when they ignore her while she’s trying to explain it.
Easy frustration sometimes means high Te (why aren’t you getting this when it’s obvious and how to do it is written down right there?!).
she can feel like everyone can see her mistakes and are judging her for it, and to ground herself, she reminds herself that “no one cares about you as much as you think they do.” she said this to her brother when he worried about how others saw him, and she was confused when he took offense to it and found it too blunt when it helped her own worries.
This is attachment. It means she’s in the attachment triad (3/6/9). Attachment types care too much what others think, so often remind themselves that it’s okay to be themselves, to do their own thing, that no one is watching them, etc.
Given that she is blunt, practical, opportunistic, and struggles with objectivity, I think an SFP 9w8, although whether she’s I/E is debatable. Would you say that Ni or Te has greater prominence in her life? How much does she try to structure her life around a single forward purpose? If it’s a lot, ISFP. If she has a far-reaching vision but is constantly pulled away from it in favor of momentary emotions and pleasures, ESFP.

This could be an unpopular opinion but Taylor is partially responsible for the 'paternity test' that went on till reputation. The secret messages in the first place where the reason for people to get intrigued and connect it to people she dated. She definitely didn't deserve the slutshaming and I know she was quite young but she really enjoyed that 'clues' at first which became a double edged sword
I am saying this because existence of secret messages is what led me to find muses behind these songs and see them as more than nameless faceless people. She got people curious and combined it with the fact that she dated people who are really famous led people to theorise(This is no way slutshaming her.Noone deserves that treatment from media or public. I just revealed my thoughts on how she innocently gave her personal details on silver platter. This is something her publicist should have known better about)
so i think an issue here is conflating her relationship to us and her relationship to the press, which have overlap but were fundamentally different when she began her career. i firmly believe everyone has the right to tell their own stories and speak their own truth, and she wanted to orient us in her stories and bring us into her music. like you said, she shared that innocently, not realizing it would be weaponized against her, and then once it was weaponized against her, to some degree she used what she could as defense. the secret messages were for us. inescapably the press used that against her, but that wasn't her fault. she couldn't predict that or the damage it would do to her. it also wasn't her fault that she happened to be very famous dating very famous men, and that being impossible to keep private because we live in a society that has a baked-in element of celebrity culture and interest, for better or worse, and people have been interested in society gossip for far longer than our modern times (we could stretch that back to royal courts as far as ancient egypt. gossip probably existed as soon as human speech did). taylor hiding "sam sam sam sam sam sam" or "maple lattes" in the liner notes is something she chose to do to let us in so that *we* would understand her emotions and diaristic writing and truth; the press picking her apart, excoriating her, and slut shaming her was out of her control and would've happened *without* her giving us clues anyway - and might've even made it worse because at least fans inherently knew what her stories meant to her along the way (she rightfully stopped leaving the secret messages because her music has even further clarity now, she doesn't need them, and yet look at the mess of discourse with people not recognizing the simplest things and most obvious allusions and connections on midnights...). beyond this, she was constantly having to behave and hold her tongue, and don't talk about politics or opinions, and be a good role model and a good girl and don't grow up. as she said at her commencement speech: I was a teenager in the public eye at a time when our society was absolutely obsessed with the idea of having perfect young female role models. It felt like every interview I did included slight barbs by the interviewer about me one day ‘running off the rails.’ That meant a different thing to every person who said it to me. So I became a young adult while being fed the message that if I didn’t make any mistakes, all the children of America would grow up to be perfect angels. However, if I did slip up, the entire earth would fall off its axis and it would be entirely my fault and I would go to pop star jail forever and ever. It was all centered around the idea that mistakes equal failure and ultimately, the loss of any chance at a happy or rewarding life.
her publicist at that point was not conducive to her growth as an artist or a woman. the secret messages were one of the few means she had of revealing things to us that we'd recognize without saying or giving away too much. i don't personally think it's a bad thing she enjoyed or had fun with them either. she liked letting us in! it was only the extreme depth of the hatred and trauma in 2015-16 that forced her to pivot, and then finding a partner in joe who she desperately wanted to hold onto and a relationship she wanted to protect apart from the noise and apart from the "nasty world that just wants to ruin things." we can't blame a young woman in her teens and twenties for wanting a way to connect with her listeners and openly share her experiences in whatever way she could. she also does have a petty streak and justifiable anger. the pettiness typically comes out in biting humor (the joe j doll was ironically hilarious, ibytam says everything it needs to say and allows her that space to make fun of an ex after such depth of shattering heartbreak), and the anger as a raw nerve (mad woman, wcs), but jaime said the other day something along the lines of, if someone really dislikes her pettiness or her anger, then to some degree that's to dislike her in general because it's not engaging with the full scope of her person. she is uncommonly kind, giving, and sensitive, she is passionate and earnest and quirky, that doesn't mean she doesn't make mistakes, or isn't allowed her fury and hurt and bitterness. or that she shouldn't have ever made her stories clear, that was her choice! i also don't think she's wrong in saying she doesn't have to consider her exes' experiences when she's releasing her own work. it's hers.
the paternity test quote in itself is somewhat disingenuous and her leaning into the character of reputation - that was for the media more than anything. it's multilayered, but it's like thinking folklore/evermore are entirely fiction when they're very much a lot of truth and inspired by lived feelings, or like her saying bejeweled is about her coming back into more sparkly pop music again. that's not what the song in its original form is about, but you can add that layer to it. we can find new facets to her songwriting and meaning, make our own personal meanings, and see where she's addressing more than one experience. she's never really obfuscated anything. even with rep, at the secret sessions, she told fans and encouraged them to share that every love song on the record was about joe. she mentioned him during lover press, their daily life has thankfully been kept private, but their relationship isn't at all hidden. rep is not a mystery, it's kind of *why* she didn't need to explain it.
not directed at what you said since i know you're not blaming her, but in general it's strange to me that she gets such outsized criticism for this when you can pull up practically any famous artist and point directly to their experiences and important relationships and muses that informed their work. it would be like saying we can't read keats and think about his poems in relation to fanny brawne and his illness. or we can't recognize how wild it was for stevie nicks and lindsay buckingham to be writing songs about one another that they then had to perform together on stage. artists always pull from their personal lives and audiences always are curious what that inspiration might be, it's just the nature of art.
i don't believe that hearing the songs, understanding their full depth, and knowing what she experienced and what she's sharing, including that the knowledge behind them then gives songs a flesh and blood connection rather than being nameless and faceless, is at all a negative thing, i think it's humanizing and gives them their richness as they intertwine across her career and journey.

The basics - n°1 - Life
What is life? Hardly a complicated question...but let's be smart.
One could say at first that life is nothing other than the fact of existing. It's a good way to start without making too many mistakes, and which is not without relevance. What's more, it seems like common sense.
However, we are no further ahead. Yes, because deep down, what is it to exist? A crude, but not silly attempt would be to say that existence refers to everything that is present in the universe. And it's logical, if I'm not present in the universe, then I don't exist.
Note: Note that this presence is most often qualified as a “manifestation” with regard to metaphysics. These are two terms that we will not fail to use indiscriminately.
But it's not clear enough to me. For what ? Because said like that, I don't really know where the universe begins and where it ends. I mean, my “thought”, though not concrete to the physical senses, can be formally attested. The famous “I think therefore I am”. So where do I place it? Inside the universe or outside? In other words, it is necessary to identify the borders of the cosmos if one wants to know what to include inside.
So to properly delimit the frame, we will have to consider the universe differently. In a more technical way, one might say. And here is a good way not to be mistaken: to consider the universe with regard to its limits which are nothing other than space and time. From this point of view, life/manifestation is a simple presence that can be attested in time and/or space. Or to put it even more simply: what exists in time and/or space.
It's not bad, but still a little too complicated for my taste. Still too abstract...
So let us ask ourselves this question: What do time and space ultimately measure? Movement. The movement on the axis of time or on the axis of space.
- When I make a move, I move in space.
- When I change, I move in time (for humans, that's called getting old!).
So we can now make our last reformulation. Life, manifestation, or in other words existence, is about all realities that can change and/or move. Consequently, everything that moves or changes is included in the universe. On the contrary, what does not move or change is not of our world.
Note: This is what we cheerfully assume of God or the dead, that we imagine elsewhere or nowhere. We will come back to this one day in a secondary note.
Anything that moves or anything that changes, that's a lot of things. But fortunately, there are ways to classify everything. We do this with regard to the different ways of manifesting ourselves, the different ways of being present in the world: in short, we arrange things according to different plans, or to put it even more simply, according to types of reality. At this stage, everyone does their grub... And precisely! This is where things get interesting for us, because personally, I see 4 layers!
-Physical reality
-Emotional reality
-mental reality
And... -The reality of the soul
Yes, I know, if everyone agrees on the first three (although it must be explained why! And that few people really do), the fourth is much less obvious. And yet, if I told you that it is as visible as the rest, would you believe me? This is what we will see next. But for the moment, let us clarify these first three assertions a little.
In theory, I was only able to cite these realities because they reflect either displacements or changes. At least on a microscopic scale. Do these three dimensions meet all the criteria? Yes. In fact, everything encompassed within these realities... Exists. Or to put it another way, all of these realities are valid because they are moving or changing realities.
Let's start with the concrete. Physical reality: The human being exists, the animal exists, the tree exists, and the stone exists.
Yes, a stone... exists. And it is here that we perceive something funny. Some will be inclined to be mistaken by saying that no, a stone is not alive. Understand that this is not the issue! Existence is nothing other than the fact of bearing witness to a presence, to a reality, to "being" really there, or just to be. Not to live.
Example: If I tell you that the stone in front of me exists, I am not lying. It is there, it is a fact, anyone can attest to its reality. And if you tell me that this stone does not exist, I will retort that it is there by pointing to it.
Note: At worst I will throw it in your face, just to attest to its existence.
We distinguish between "to exist" and "to live", fine, but then what does it mean to "live"? We will have the opportunity to come back to this, but let us say here in short that to be alive is to be animated. You have to see this as a movement that ignites from within. In other words, it is a question of possessing the cause of one's transformation or of one's movements within oneself. No longer on the outside like the stone that is tossed about in space...
The more the freedom of your movements as regards space and time comes from autonomy, from an interior movement, the more you seem alive. Thus, comparing the differents kingdoms:
-The stone exists, but does not seem alive, because it does not change or move by itself.
Note: At least in our eyes, but that doesn't mean it's not, who knows! Perhaps in its own way... By the way, it should be noted that the mineral kingdom is also traversed by movements, although these are less visible: The planets move, the pebbles are brought to be moved; and whatever the stone, it will show its own movement on a microscopic scale (the atoms move by themselves).
-The plant exists, and it is alive, because it changes over time. Moreover it moves, but in only one direction. However, the slowness of its changes of state and the restriction of its movements tends to make it almost like an object... Sadly.
-The animal exists, and it seems more than alive, because it moves and changes in an obvious way. However, its changes and displacements come from non-debatable movements -instinct- which dominates it.
-Finally, Man exists, and he is the most alive of all. He moves and changes, and moreover he is able to discuss his instinct, so he is the one who decides: here the movement is much more “inner”. Man is animated by a fruitful inner life.
Note: Yes, well, I know that currently there are men and women who make me lie.
We can add (roughly) for the moment that existence designates exteriority, and the fact of living designates interiority.
Creation and creator. There is a bit of that.
But what about so-called "virtual" realities? Thought, for example, can we attest to its existence? Yes, as bizarre as it may seem, we can also say of a thought that it exists. When I think badly of you, it's a fact, isn't it? What may disturb you here is that this fact belongs only to the mental world: it is only visible in "my head", and not in space. Despite everything, my thought is a reality because it is a matter of time, of change, so one could see it as a changing form only accessible to the brain, and not to the physical senses outside.
On the other hand, difficult to say of a thought that it is alive (although, business to follow...). Indeed, although located in my head, therefore in an interior world, the thought is not autonomous. Note: Let us not confuse the will, creative in the mental world, and the thought, creation of the mental world.
For emotions, the example is the same, and even easier, since many elements relating to emotion are reflected in space, on the body. The famous "reactions".
In fact, one could say of the virtual in general that it is an invisible change of forms in space (or only visible in a limited space, as with television). Forms that are difficult to quantify. And if we talk about change at least, then it does belong to our universe...
Conclusion: life, in the sense of existence, designates the fact of possessing a reality which is subject to changes and/or displacements (one can also attribute the quantitative measure to designate space, in other words what has a size , but no need to add more).
So here's something to get off to a good start: all you have to do is set off in the direction of your choice to achieve, with luck, some awareness. But do not forget, everything comes from you, this text only serves as a support for the inner bubbling (bubbling, that's only true!).
P.S: It is possible to exist without being alive, like a stone. But can we "live" without existing? Without showing up?
Warning : this is a translation with google, and few corrections. But still, the text is full of mistakes. Sorry, I don't want to spend too much time to translate. Of course I'm not a native speaker, and my original work is in french.
Warning 2 : Every article is related to the others, so it's difficult to understand without reading everything in order. Look at the numbers to be chronological. Good luck.

Dropping this here because I write Sci-Fi Fanfic. I write a lot of timey-wimey stories, and in a dream I had recently, there was a goldmine of interesting concepts to play with including concept like time as a wave, four distinct dimension of time, why going back in time wouldn't ever bring us back to the Big Bang, why physical time travel is impossible but transcendental time travel is highly plausible (and might be happening all the time), and more.
I honestly blame the benadryl I took before bed. I might have preferred a dream about gods and unicorns or whatever, but we take what we can get.
I'll bold the things I'm really keen to work into a story.
The setup of the dream was that I was, for some reason, attending a workshop put on by a Dutch mathematician and physicist. She was explaining that, even though we cannot perceive it, time is passing at a different rate now as compared to the rate at which it passed during earlier stages of the universe's development.
She explained it like this: the universe is expanding. Space is expanding, and we intuitively understand that if five meters becomes five kilometers, it takes more time and energy to traverse the new distance than the old one. That is what is happening to space. The very same thing is happening to time, because time and space are not separate.
The momentum from the initial explosion/expansion is what gives time its arrow, what propels us through time. There's no loss of energy, not exactly, because energy/matter can't be created or destroyed, but five years is literally longer than it used to be. The fire of time, entropy itself, doesn't move across the distance of five years in the way it used to at earlier stages in the universe's development. Put another way, entropy is less vigorous than it used to be.
Here is where it got wacky: She further explained that the energy propelling us across the dimension of time existed as a wave. We could conceptualize the effect as a sound decreasing in pitch, or light redshifting in color. "Or someone saying 'wom-wom-wom' and each 'wom' is a little slower in the coming than the one before it."
Of course, that time could have a rate, or a frequency, I pointed out, indicates multiple dimensions of time.
She was immediately excited that I said this, and asked me to paint a representation of this concept, to make sure I remembered it.
I added on to my painting, which depicted the loss of entropy as light becoming lower frequency over time, and fading into the color of the paper (I think I chose black paper, maybe because it looked like space) toward the top and the bottom. I labeled the up/down axis "truth/choice" and the ultra-violet to red horizontal axis "chronological time."
"The colors represent the momentum of time. The position refers to chronological time. The dimension of time by which the frequency of the wave is measured may or may not be separate from the perspective of the traveller." I said. I realized no one knew what I meant, so I asked if anyone in the classroom had a sewing kit.
"Ok, so, let's think about it in terms of, like, an episode of Doctor Who," I said. "Rose Tyler is travelling through time. Her most likely trajectory is working at a shop forever," I indicated the linear time axis, moving the needle and thread along it. "But then The Doctor decides to blow it up, so now we're in a timeline where that's less likely." I moved the needle up along the truth/choice axis. "But then she gets into the Tardis" I poked the needle through the paper drawing it through to the side they couldn't see. "She vanishes, and now we're in 1542" I poke the needle back through the paper to the visible side. "And they spend a week there before going back..." I poked the needle in again, further along in chronological time, "but when they return to Rose's native time, the past is different now." And I poked the needle it again. I flipped the paper over, showing the pattern of thread. "This is her personal time stream. The thread has a beginning and end, a past and future. But it's not the same past and future as chronological time. It's not the up and down of moving through possible realities. It's the path by which she navigated both."
"But time travel isn't possible," one of the students shot back. "Hawking proved it with his dinner party experiment."
"Not physically," I said. "A dimension of your physical body is the temporal context in which it exists. From the perspective of that third dimension, you exist simultaneously in your own past, present, and future. And let's not even talk about the fact that your continued metabolism, your ability to digest, to breathe, to even think depends upon entropy, which is time's arrow. One part of space time CAN be folded to touch another, I think, and I think that's how you make a wormhole. But even if you pulled it off, I think it might kill you. But information can travel through time. As much as scientists would like to tell you that precognition isn't real, it's still observed. You can't say that something we've observed hasn't really been observed just because you don't understand why, yet."
"But then wouldn't that cause a paradox by changing the past?"
"Yes! And it happens all the time! Determinism is the idea that, since everything was set in motion at the Big Bang, both agency and probability are an illusion. There appears to be a 1:6 change that you'll get a certain number on a six-sided die, but in reality, the percent chance that you'd get the exact result you got was always 100%. This one-outcome model depends upon a model that has only one dimension of time. Past to future. No choice. No left to right. Infinite universes, each different and discrete --- and I'm not saying you can just shift into a reality where you made a different choice in the past. You still have that momentum behind you, that gives time its arrow. You can't move to a reality with a different past than the one you lived. But as you choose, and act, you move across the countless possibilities."
And then the Dutch Mathematician said, "it's such a shame you're not read up on algorithms. I really think you'd love to be a mathematician. If you're willing to stay here, I'd be happy to teach you."
"No," I said sadly. "That sounds based, but I have to wake up and take care of small children now. But like, if I come back, we should talk about the set theory paradox, ok?"
She agreed, and then I woke up.

Tell me about your ocs please?
yes
okay so if it isn't obvious, my two favorite ocs are sagax and axis. they are basically like two sides of the same coin.
first of all, the two of them are really close. i feel like you know that by now aslkjfewa. Sagax basically saved Axis, and brought them under their wing. The two of them have very similar mannerisms because of this. At first glance, the two are...total opposites. Sagax is quiet and solemn, and honestly kind of terrifying. On the other hand, Axis tends to be....aggresivly friendly. But it is clear after being around them that the two are very similar. In terms of the way they fight, both being smart, quick, calculating fighters. And the way they talk even, in shorter, clipped sentences. In their gazes, the way that it seems like they are watching your every move. Even Akrain (ruler of Arkansass, and is....something to Sagax) refers to Axis as sagax's 'little shadow'. now to the interesting part. Neither of them should really exist. Sagax is way more powerful than any shinigami or human, or even part human, should be. frankly, they shouldn't exist. Axis is also way more powerful than they should be, even though they are a wyvern (they normally stay in a human-wyvern mixture of a form lmao). They are powerful to the point its flooding out of them. The difference is that one has control, the other doesn't. One of the things most imporant to Sagax is control. Controlling everything, their life, others (more like knowing what others are doing rather than controlling them though), even their magic. They don't like the feeling of being out of control, like they were under yanna. So they worked hard with their magic. Gaining near perfect control of their magic. Its what they are known for! Controlling pure magic and utilizing it in the most devestating way possible. its why they were able to beat yanna. no one could compare to their control. Axis on the other hand. Their magic is just uncontrollable. Sagax has trained them to control it, and axis really tries. but just by the nature of their magic, being born with overflowing magic, makes it easy to lose control. they are almost volatile. they just have too much magic. They are also both very logical, very quick thinkers. but sagax is almost too logical. too serious. too deadly. they are always thinking, and besides for axis, never really lets their guard down. sagax vaules logic and control above everything axis on the other hand is also very logical, but can also break out of it easily. while sagax buries everythign down in order to be clear headed & serious, axis just. breaks. they aren't good under pressure, no matter how hard they try. and they can easily be blinded. they can get obsessive on a certain thing, or mindset, or wahtever. and can't see anything besides that. which causes them to make mistakes

Patterns in 12th House Stellium People
TW: Abuse
Connected to previous post about 12th house placements and as requested, I have noticed there are some similar patterns for these natives
12th house stellium esp fixed dom ones tend to endure the bad things early in their life. They may experience some fucked up things that are done by people around them, usually close people like family members or friends but most of the times, they weren't realize the effect that will take toll on them
Which is why a lot of times when they grow up esp during young adult, all those accumulations of abuse, wrongdoings, and else erupted and thus make them have major breakdown. This is worsening if they have Mars or Pluto in 12th house. Usually they become a very different people
People indeed oftentimes have wrong ideas of them esp fixed dom ones cuz on the outside they seem like they have things together. It's also due to fact that esp Taurus-Scorpio axis, they have such shame of letting people know how mess their actual life condition is. Thus leading people to think that the thing that they're experiencing is not that serious
It's also due to fact that a lot of times, the degree of severity of problem is not seen by the actual problem but how the carrier of problem express their worry or sense of give up. Hence why when these natives seemingly do not express much worry, other people think the problem is something they still can handle. Which they can't but having faced such dismissal make them doubtful to try again
Will tell you their actual problems though after you share your own problems first in portion that is lesser than you. The secrecy is a must for them
The interest of spiritual tool as I have mentioned before is pivotal for their life direction and how they get to know themselves.
A lot of times they are born from quite hippie family. Their parent(s) may be in occupation like painter, singer, etc. Fit with Neptunian theme of romantic job. From there too, they may have tapped into spirituality quite earlier as their parent(s) already introduce that to them
But with Sun in 12th house esp, their father may be unrealiable figure. The father may have done poor job at securing the bag for family which lead to him either quit the job right away which make the wife has to struggle to save family's financial situation or he's a very moody person in terms of seeking for income
But usually the natives will love the father in some type of way, eventhough he's halfassing them throughout time. They may even prefer him than their mom, eventho the mom is materially more responsible to them. There's this sense of romanticism and idealism of father's personality which fit with the ideal father that children wanna have. No kids would say "my dad works in corporate job he's great". They will always say "my dad is so awesome look at what he draw yesterday"
Romance rarely exist but even it does, usually it's only done with selected people. One thing 12th house stellium have in common is choosing partner from emotional base. Their crush or partner is rarely the flashy one. Usually their subject of adoration is known by their kindness and emotions. May really well attract quite lowkey people
Really need someone else or at least watch other people to make them balance that 6th house energy though. Too many times their quality of mundane life decreasing as they grow into more isolation. Their early life may be great but once major problem hits, it just go opposite
Very religious people or at least deep in spirituality as they try to learn other people's beliefs that they think might be able to help them navigate life
The type of calm friend at first but turns out having so many emotional burdens
Their marriage will work really well if they choose partner who is as lowkey as them and deeply caring and together they build solid life with also richness of emotional and spiritual healing
The point is highlighted in here cuz compared to 8th house, 8th house natives tend to attract flashy partner or romantic interest. Those who are in spot of being seen and adored by many people
These natives may not trying to climb to social ladder unless they have other placements that support them to, but living peacefully like that even if their life is quite static actually bring them so much serene. It's Capricorn/8th house/Aries natives that always try so much to climb the social ladder
Some of them are really handy people when you want a faithful friend that will keep your secrets even after you no longer befriend with them. They also ironically rarely say protest toward you eventho you are halfassing them along the way. They just say that in indirect tone or later time when it's no longer endurable

Howdy!! Could I request Yandere Gojo and Geto from jjk, with a special-grade sorcerer reader? Ty in advance, I really like your writing!✨
an; thank you for the love ˊᗜˋ💕 here are some drabbles for them separately, hope you liked it :3
warnings; yandere, gore, blood, unhealthy relationships, obsessive behaviour. do not condone such actions in real life, and please kindly read at your own discretion.
Tumblr media
THE night was quiet, almost serene, totally at odds with the glowering menace in Geto’s eyes. Gone was the subtle gentleness in those inky slits you had grown to adore; in its place, inscrutable darkness bore holes into the back of your skull as you shuddered beneath the curse user’s glare.
It was still Geto in the flesh: the same face, unique hairstyle and robes he’d wear just like any other day. Yet it was no longer the special-grade sorcerer whom you once knew and loved. You never knew what caused such a drastic change in him; all you wished for, was for the old Geto to return, hoping that all of this was none other than another nightmare.
“Suguru? W-What are you doing at my door? It’s already late, you should be taking some rest ...” A hint of dismay — maybe sadness, ghosted his expression when the raven picked up the quivers in your tone. Nonetheless, a gentle smile adorns his face, emerging from the shadows to reveal himself as the raven explained himself.
“Why? Can’t I come and visit you?” He cocked his head, a playful smirk evident. Geto never ceased to make your heart flutter; perhaps it was his flirtatious nature and mellow personality that drew you towards him, but even after being one of his closest friends for a long time, at times you felt like you couldn’t understand him at all, with this being one of the occurrences.
You chortled, about to invite the raven into your apartment when warning bells started to ring incessantly in your head, warning you that there was something awry about him once you caught a glimpse at his clothes imbrued with crimson splatters.
“Sugu ... what is that on your clothes?”
“Oh this? Satoru splashed me with red paint, it’s not much of a big deal.” You knew he was lying, instantly picking up the revolting metallic stench from the stains. Dread filled your mind while you staggered back, keeping a distance from the male who gave you a perplexed look in return.
“You and I know a smell like this isn’t red paint ...” Trying to be as calm as you could, you retracted a step backwards with every stride Geto took. “Be honest with me. What on earth have you done?”
“Sharp as ever, y/n.” A condescending look took over as Geto finally revealed his true colours. “The world needs to change. All these monkeys are the reasons why curses exist. They can’t even control their cursed energy properly, and we sorcerers have to battle with death every time a curse poses as a threat to them. Their ignorance is revolting in its core, and I believe to make the world a better place, it would be better off to remove all of them out of sight. Don’t you agree —“
“What the fuck are you thinking?” Unable to withhold your seething rage, you snapped at the curse user. “This isn’t what sorcerers should do! What you are doing is of no difference from a brutal murderer Geto! I can’t fucking believe you!”
“How can you think of me like they y/n? That hurts my heart you know.”
Before you could even scream, he was already inches away, blood-stained hands caressing your cheeks tenderly as if you were made of fragile glass. “I just want to make life easier, there’s no need for us to put our lives at stake every time we exorcise curses. Right? We could be enjoying peaceful days together, free from the dangers of this world ...”
“Stop! Your delusions are sick, this isn’t you at all Geto! I don’t know what is wrong with your brain, but it’s never too late to turn back —“
Suddenly, your vision darkened — your consciousness sinking into a bottomless void as the raven carried you in a bridal style, the two of you vanishing into the tenebrosity of the night.
“And I thought you were the only one who’d understand me ... love.” He shook his head in disapproval, but the disappointment in his eyes were eventually replaced with glee as Geto stared at your limp figurine in his arms.
“But don’t worry, what needs to be done will be done. For our sake, for our future together.”
Tumblr media
EVERYTHING would always be uglier up close.
At first glance, one might find Gojo Satoru a perfect man: with talent, looks and wealth all in one package. Men envy the greatest sorcerer of all time, and women grovel at his feet, desperate for a sprinkle of the man’s attention. Despite living the life everyone dreams to be in, the heir of the Gojo clan couldn’t care less about how the world spins around his axis. For the sorcerer has his eyes set on something much more worthy of his time and effort.
He is a man of determination, willing to achieve his goals with whatever means possible — even resorting to dirtying his own hands. It is such an irony that underneath the charming façade, such a disgusting soul exists.
“For the last time Satoru, I am not interested in dating anybody.” Heaving an exasperated sigh, you politely shoved the lavish presents piling up at your front door back into the man’s arms.
“I feel really flattered that you have feelings for me, I truly do. But I’m sure you know as sorcerers, we fight with death every day. If there is any regret that I’d dread to have ... it would be to leave everything I love behind. And I would rather die alone than leave my partner suffering on their own.”
“That’s what I love about you y/n.”
A loving sigh slipping from his tongue, Gojo took a step forward, cupping your face with utter delicacy. Yet you felt more than revolted by his sudden intimacy, struggling to writhe away from his tightening grip.
“You are always so kind, so considerate ... something I cannot find in anyone else other than you. But think about it sweetheart! You and I are both special-grade sorcerers, but I can protect you from the curses — at the same time giving you the moon and stars. We could move in together, you wouldn’t even need to work anymore. Why make your life harder when I could simply provide for you? Seriously —”
“S-Satoru, I hate to tell you this but you’re pushing the boundaries right now.” Trying to reason with the sorcerer, you spoke with a harsher tone, praying that Gojo would get the hint and respect your choices. “You’re out of your mind! And why would you force
Nonetheless, your words fell on deaf ears.
“Now this is not how you should react when someone offers you their heart and soul.” The light in his cerulean eyes darkened, cyan hues glimmering beneath the penumbra of nightfall. “And I know you are a smart young woman, so you’d come to realise what is in your best interest. I really don’t want to do this to you y/n; but if you are trying to push me away from your life again, I would have to keep you to my side — the hard way.”
With that, he pulled down his blindfold.
You were aware of how dangerous Infinite Void was; still, experiencing it first-hand was one hell of a terrifying experience. Fleeting images flashed across your vision as if all of this was in fastforward motion, depicting your fate in the past along with future. As certain blurred vestiges showed up, your heart sank in indescribable despair; moments of you and none other than Gojo were portrayed — blood splattered across the labyrinth of streets in Tokyo, your trembling hands intertwined with his, platinum bands wrapped around both of your ring fingers, adorable kids that were exact replicas of both of you. At this point, you could feel the will to fight back dwindling to fickle embers.
No matter what you did, Gojo would always find his way back to you.
Even if he had to tear the world apart with his hands.

Have you ever talked about the other 2 celestial monkeys? A friend and I have been doing research on them and they are so interesting!
I THINK I talked about them only once and that was kinda one of my WIP posts where I just talked while designin them! I don't remember if I deleted the post at some point (social anxiety hits me Hard, man) or not but yea
YEAH THO THEY ARE REALLY COOL I find it very interestin that there's actually like. Multiple theories about them in the wild. journeytothewestresearch, for example, pointed out that in theory all of the four World Wreaking Monkeys were on Huaguo shan (they then became the Stalwart Generals) and some other sources talked about how the two remaining World Wreakers mentioned by Buddha Tathagata could be refering to DIFFERENT monkeys that already exist in Different legends/tales
The "Were on Huaguo shan" theory could point a tad towards the Huaguo mountain being the universal pillar (axis mundi) which is an interesting thought to consider, no matter how much it goes against the original axis mundis of the religions at play in JT/TW. And axis mundi Huaguo shan being a place of creation of weird ass fucked up monkeys is kinda sick (universal pillars are things like for example mount Sumeru, Kunlun, Yggdrasil... stuff like that)
I'm personally more interested in mashing “weaker” characters together than making completely new ones (strange aversion to "ocs" goin on here), so I went with the latter take on the two:
Tumblr media
The first one is inspired by The Investiture of the Gods, 袁洪 [Yuán Hóng] or 四废星 [Sì Fèi Xīng/Four Waste Stars], in Fuit Twins he goes by Báiyuán [白猿/white gibbon or ape i guess]. I’ve tried to do my research as best as I could, checking out multiple places for info including baidu, but I haven’t read the novel yet n I feel like I’m still missin smth so that’s the main thing that’s benching him currently. My sis already went hog wild on bullying him with shitty doodles, it was wonderful He is corresponding to the third World Wreaking Monkey, the long armed ape monkey (通臂猿猴) or the bare-armed/magic-armed gibbon
And the other one is from the legend surrounding the Huái river/the legend of Yu the Great, 无支祁 [Wúzhīqí]. Bitch is a she in Fruit Twins n is supposed to be the main antag of that “4 years later after s3″ season that I haven’t developed too far for now She corresponds to the second World Wreaking Monkey, the red ass horse monkey (赤尻馬猴) or the red-rumped mandril. The JT/TW description of the red ass monkey can fit quite really nicely with the river god Wúzhīqí so I went ape there lskdgjslkgsdlk In one of older JT/TW plays she’s also presented as Sun Wukong’s sister and you KNOW I went hog wild when I found out about that
It’s p cool that these two from different place than JT/TW can fit so nicely with the descriptions of the other two WWMs and Yet you don’t really Have to follow that. A peep is pretty free to take the descriptions as character prompts n go hog wild, which I quite adore

ISFP? ISTP? Something else?
Hello Charity, I write so you can help me figure out whether I’m ISFP or ISTP. I’m certain I’m an ISxx type because I’m very realistic and concrete, also an introvert because I look before I Ieap and think through things, I’m rarely impulsive. So I’ll focus on my biggest doubt, which is my judging axis. I got your book (it’s very well written by the way, congratulations), the type I most identified with was ISTJ (99% of that was literally me). It confused me because when reading the Introverted sensing chapter I couldn’t relate that well, since it was a lot about personal symbolism and sentimentality making you attached to things. I related a lot to the Introverted feeling and Extroverted thinking chapters though, so I thought ISFP was it. But the Introverted thinking chapter had parts that really resonated, so ISTP is possible. I'm just lost and keep changing my mind depending on what I read, so I need for this uncertainty to end...
I would say ISTJ is correct.
What you wrote about Fi is accurate (as in, you appear to use Fi and certainly have strong subjective emotions) but it seems to be coming from a place of putting aside personal feelings to make rational decisions, being comfortable with existing systems and seeing them as useful, and being annoyed with people who are irrational.
A lot of what you wrote for Ti is more Te-ish, especially: Things I didn’t relate at all: finding more stimulating for me to figure out how to do a task myself than to research it. No, that’s a waste of time and can be frustrating, Google is there for a reason. Preferring to tinkering with things to throwing them away, again no, it’s a waste of time and I’m no technician. [...] Feeling nervous and insecure during social situations, again no, I know what’s expected and how to behave. [...] Mechanical things are not easy at all for me to understand, neither do I have any interest in them. I’ll leave it to the experts.
Si is only sentimental if the ISTJ chooses to be sentimental; ISTJs are not sentimental as a general rule and often don't see the point of having a rich inner world when there are things to get done. If that was the only hangup with embracing ISTJ, while relating to 99% of it, go with ISTJ.
Btw, I agree with you that you should be able to criticize a favorite music, artist, author, etc, while still considering yourself a fan, and not be pressured to love whatever they produce. I've never been one to "love" something just because someone I like did it -- I like to see if it resonates with me first, and I won't pretend to like it if I don't like it. I think that's strongly Fi in a way -- we want to resonate with what we love and reject what we don't, and our passion can be more for the object than its creator. I used to love Josh Groban's early albums, but I lost interest in him once he shifted into a different music genre. I won't follow him into a new genre or pretend I like his newer stuff just as well as his older stuff -- because I don't. I guess that makes me a fan of his early albums, and not of him, himself. What he produces, rather than just of "him." Whereas other people are fans of a celebrity or an entertainer, and support whatever they do. :)

PLATONIC HEADCANINS !! PLATONIC HEADCANONS !! HOW ABOUT- a doting touchy-feely PLATONC reader with the allies?? Friendship headcanons :3 (do Axis if u can but PLEASE don't do that if you are tired or busy PLEASE don't ♡♡:))
America
I feel Alfred is also a bit of a touchy-feely kind of friend too
Especially with best friends and whatnot
Is either always at your house or telling you to come to his
He just wants to watch movies or play video games with you
Heck he just wants to exist in the same room with his bestie
Will Alfred wake you up at 3am to do something with him?
Yes
Y’all will either be doing mundane things like going on a store run or literally committing a crime
There is N O in between
Since the both of you are both touchy-feely and likely clinging to each other you bet you’ve gotten the same question 1000x
“Are you two dating?”
You both either go for the ewww hell no or a straight faced but sarcastic yes we totally are
But it’s 50/50 if you both actually go for the same response
It’s a game at this point to see if you guys can read each other’s minds
You guys usually make an awkward situation for the person that asked because one will say yes and the other says eww and neither of you will back down and explain that you guys are just sarcastic and teasing jerks lmao
England
Arthur isn’t the most touchy person so having a friend that is can be tough sometimes
He does appreciate the hugs and physical comfort/support but he just gets kinda awkward
Well at first anyways
When you are certified besties he’s used to it and one can often find him gravitating towards you to just be close
Will never admit he likes it though sorry he’s a hard head
No one dares ask either of y’all that dreaded question though because they don’t want to deal with his sarcasm and the lecture that’s sure to follow
Arthur is a chill bestie though
Often invites you over to just be together
He doesn’t care if it’s just to talk, do something, or simply enjoy the presence of someone else
Help him cook maybe?
Even if you suck at cooking he enjoys attempting to cook with someone else
And that also means having fun in the kitchen and being complete dorks the whole time
And also having to order food or eat a sandwich because unless you can cook it’s going to be inedible
Will make you watch and read Sherlock, even if he has to be there or read it to you it’s happening
France
Francis is very touchy as a friend unless he knows someone dislikes it
So having a bestie that is like him is perfect
People probably think y’all are glued together at this point
No one would ever think y’all are dating either because Francis acts completely different with his bestie than a love interest
He’s kind of a mean ass ngl
He likes to jokingly bicker and fight with you
And definitely likes to cling and be dramatic with you to the point it’s annoying to others
Francis drags you with him everywhere
His house, the gym, the store, England’s house, etc
He cant just go alone anymore it would feel wrong like he’s forgetting something
If you’re bad at dressing or have no style he’s got your back
Literally shops for you but also constantly says things like you’ll never look as good as him
You are also one fo the few that will ever see Francis get serious or down in the dumps
It’s just something he doesn’t wear on his sleeve and reserves for those closest to him
Canada
Matthew is not used to having people cling to him
He’s not really used to having people notice him so having a someone that’s his bestie, that notices him the most, and always clings and talks to him is a strange and wild concept
Doesn’t mind the touchiness and honestly rather prefers it
He’s kinda touch starved :/
Matthew is likely always at your house with Kumajirou
Movie marathon and cuddles yo
Also as his closest friend you come to see his ‘secret’ side of being sarcastic and a complete savage
This boy does not hold back with you either
Maybe at first he did but when he realized y’all are in this friend stuff for life he won’t censor or sugar coat things if it’s not necessary
Makes you play and watch hockey with him
Will teach you everything if you know nothing
Matthew is the type of friend to invite you to his families holidays/vacations and come to yours
He knows and is cool with basically all of your family
I mean who could hate or dislike this polite boy?
Russia
Ivan is not used to friendship either as people usually tremble in fear before him
so having a friend that is touchy on top of having a close friend can be a bit much at times
But he’s happy!
He loves the hugs! Loves the contact! Loves having a friend!
Loves cuddles most of all he won’t lie, Ivan loves the feeling of comfort and support when you cuddle him
People do often assume you two are dating because most people assume someone would only put up with him if they were in love with him
Neither of you mind the rumors since y’all know the truth
Ivan is the sweetest friend
He shows up unannounced with food or groceries all the time
Always helping you out without being asked
Like oh your washing machine broke I fixed it/bought you a new one already or oh you suck at this let me explain it and teach it to you
Does this completely unprompted
He’s always over at yours or always inviting you over to his
Wants to do classic friend things?
Like things he sees in movies and shows that friends do a lot or things he’s overheard from others
Late night store runs, hanging out at parks, showing up unannounced to crash at your place, those kind of things
You’re the only person he confides in, you know all his secrets, his sadness, everything
Honestly, Ivan is the person who needs a touchy-feely friend the most out of everyone
China
Yao is happy about having a touchy friend but will always play like he hates it
Not in like a tsundere “I totally d-don’t need friends baka” kind of way but a really dramatic “omg I can’t believe you’re so obsessed with me haha loser” kind of way
He’s only joking of course and apologizes if you get hurt by his teasing or he crosses a line
Only a brave few would try and ask if y’all are more than friends
They have to listen to a lecture with an angry Yao explaining that people can be close and not want to date and how immature and inappropriate they’re being
Totally the type of friend that mothers you
Constantly says you look skinnier than last time and forces you to eat because he’s worried for you
Will not sugar coat anything for you
If you ask for his advice then I’m sorry but you’re gonna get it even if it makes you cry or get mad
Yao wants you over at his constantly
He’s lonely man ㅠㅠ
And he doesn’t want to leave the comfort of his house
Expect a lot of his gifts for your birthday/holiday to be cute plushies he found
Germany
Ludwig act differently depending on when y’all become besties
Like before Italy, he’s nervous, confused, and slightly annoyed by all the touching and notion of being besties
If it’s after Italy he’s used to all the touchiness and has figured out how to show his friendship to you in other ways
Like making you things! Or simply inviting you to hang out!
Ludwigs is always gonna be a bit awkward though
Always shy about hanging out and inviting you over
Many people assume you two to be dating because of his awkwardness but he is the first to start defending your friendship and it’s pure nature
He develops a sixth sense and now answers people’s questions about the two of you without even looking at them
He can just feel the nasty vibes
Asks you to do mundane things with him
Like shopping or even chores
Asks you to come bake with him a lot
It was embarrassing at first since not many people know his love of making sweets but he’s over that now
I know I say this a lot, but please work out with him _(:3 」∠)_
My guy just wants a work out buddy, a spotter, a n y t h i n g just please pick up the smallest dumbbell and pretend you want to work out
If you ask for advice expect him to be straight to the point about it but comfort you afterwards
Italy
Feliciano is a god tier bestie if your touchy-feely
Doesn’t matter if that touchy-feely emotionally and/or physically he’s down for both
Like please hold his hand, hug him, give him head pats, cheek kisses or any form affection really
No one even thinks anything of it, it’s just Feliciano being himself
If anyone did ask if you were dating he might get self-conscious of his actions, he doesn’t want you to feel uncomfortable or like he was trying to be something more with you
He’s easy to calm down though
Feliciano invites you out all the time
Restaurants, wine tastings, farmers markets, gondola rides, just about anything he can think of that he thinks you would like to do
Always at your house
He eats all of your food too, but he makes you some in return so it’s okay
Gives really good advice
Like for his bestie he’ll get super serious and thoughtful about your issues, even spending days thinking of solutions
Tries not to sugar coat things for you but ends up doing just that
He doesn’t want to make his friend cry or even more anxious
Will comfort you though if you are upset about anything he’s said and apologizes profusely for it too
Japan
Kiku is overall one of the ones who needs a touchy bestie but is the most challenging with receiving or giving the touchiness back
He’s a man who enjoys personal space and alone time, so he’s honestly surprised anyone considers him a true best friend
He knows he can get a bit feisty and shut himself away when he gets uncomfortable and that makes it hard to truly befriend him
But he’s really happy you stick around and deal with his awkwardness and rejection of your affection
Tries his hardest to at least accept your friendly affection
No one would dare ask if you two are flirting or together because my god it’s taking so much of his effort to just sit less than 2 feet away from you at the start so they don’t want to ruin his progress by making it awkward
Kiku definitely asks for your opinion on anime and manga
Gets into heated debates with you over certain ones
Is shy but asks you to come over a lot
Likes to have tea and snacks with you while you guys talk
Y’all can talk for literally a whole day
You sleepover a lot, he insists and even got you your own futon with a cool custom cover
Gifts you a kotatsu at some point because he loves them and he thinks you should enjoy them all the time too
When he gets over a lot of shyness he loves when you do simple forms of affection with him
Like ruffling his hair or holding onto his arm or even just leaning against him
He enjoys those the most since they aren’t too physical and mentally taxing on him and it still let you physically express your friendship with him like you love to do
If you ask for advice either get prepared for a harsh wake up call or a stumbling mess of words
It’s 50/50 if Kiku gives you the stone cold truth or tries to spare your feelings
As your friend he thinks you deserve the truth but he doesn’t want his harsh advice to ruin your mood or make you hate him
