Tits and thighs. The thighs especially are extremely tender. If you're cooking with chicken in any dish that requires less of a whole chicken (such as chicken chow mein, chicken with pasta, etc) buy the chicken thighs and not the chicken breasts. Trust me on this it makes a world of difference.

Shit at them when I was young. I had mobility and motor skill issues. Shooting and driving is actually what helped me learn to control myself better. 😅

Now though? I'm fine. Can handle them easily enough. I suck at picking up rice with them (still grip too hard) but otherwise I'm perfectly fine

20. Have you ever been caught doing the do?

Depends on if you mean wanking or rooting. Wanking no (not by accident), rooting yes. A LOT of my roots happen outside behind pubs and shit in dark corners of the world so yeah I've been caught a few times. Luckily I've only ever been caught in places where this is expected, so the risk is minimal. They're not the kinds of folks who dob on people, so lol

Doesn't make it not embarrassing though! I always apologise to whoever caught us. Sometimes the risk adds a level of fun to it, sometimes it's just desperate rooting after a night of flirting before we both return to our boring little lives and being caught ruins the mood. Either way, being caught is always embarrassing

When I was about 16 I wasn't allowed to have locks on my doors because I'd stash drugs. I was ok with this, it was a consequence I recognised as the result of the actions. What I was NOT ok with was my dad never fucking KNOCKING before coming in, despite me always asking him to because I am 16 and full of testosterone and also a teenage boy. So eventually I bit the bullet and decided I'd let him walk in on me. He did, I stopped and stared at him, told him he should knock, and he started knocking after that. Worth it for the privacy lol

Two. I speak English as a first language, but I also speak some words of Bininj. My conversational skills are lacking, but good enough that I can listen to people speak and generally have some idea of what's being said. This goes double when I hear the word "white" or "whitefella" be said since it immediately makes me "tune in" lmao

I can't really enjoy rap unless it has a good beat purely because I can't process anything being said due to my APD. I respect Eminem's skill in Rap God but I have no idea what the fuck he's saying for 90% of the song lmao

And also being unable to process language triggers my auditory hallucinations something fierce, so unfortunately I generally have to steer clear of rap unless I'm reading the lyrics as we go along. This applies to non-English songs too. Sucks cuz I like foreign music and I'm always looking to broaden my horizons, but my APD + auditory hallucinations fucks me over. This is just an issue with singing at high speed though. If there's adequate pause (like when speaking) then it's not an issue

Probably cooking. Baking is fun, sure, I love baking, but baking is also maths and science. There's rules to baking. Cooking is an art, and where I get to let my creativity really shine. So we'll go with cooking.

Hear me out. TiK ToK by Ke$ha. Growing up one of my closest mates (Luka—I've mentioned him before, very outgoing, very feminine, very gay) knew this song by heart and one day after school we stayed back cleaning our admin room (aka homeroom) and he had it playing on his little speaker. We generally acted fools and were using the whiteboard erasers like microphones. It was stupid, and fun, and for 14 year old Blu who up until that point had only ever listened to country music and pre-1995 "oldies", it was kinda game-changing. It was that and Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe, and likely a few others since this carried on for maybe two hours until Luka's mum picked him up, but those are the only two that stuck in my memory.

I miss him. I hope he's well.

What do you do for work?

What do you do for work?

I'm a PMP—a pest management professional. This means I shoot things dead for a living. Anything from pigs (it's usually pigs) to roos, deer, dogs, cats, goats, fucken—camels, you name it. If it's found in Australia but isn't native, chances are I've shot it at one point or another.

I'm also a registered bounty hunter out of the Northern Territory on the side. Not like bail—that's illegal. Rather, when someone is suspected of a crime and police can't locate them through their own means (usually because they've gone bush), they bring a professional tracker like me in. The pay's shit but it's fun work, and sometimes I get to wrangle people if I get the go-ahead from local law enforcement, so that's always fun. If you wanna get technical, it's "fugitive recovery", not "bounty hunting".

But fuck it, I do it for money, so it's bounty hunting lmao

Uh... Tossup between Call of the Wild, Wolf Creek Origins, and All Quiet on the Western Front. Also Return to Uluru, it tugs my heart strings. I used to say that my favourite book was whatever I was reading at the time, and honestly that still holds true. These are just the titles that come to mind first when people ask me.

Ah, shit... Iunno. Probably "babe"? It's more, iunno, sexy than "baby", which sounds more sympathetic and infantile to me. Babe is a grown-up word, heh.

17. Embarrassing memory?

There's a few of these.

One is when I was 14 and an altar boy at my local church. I tripped up the step while carrying Lent candles during Mass, dropped the candles on the carpet, and immediately yelled "Fucken cunt!" at the top of my lung in front of the entire congregation when the carpet caught on fire. I hastily stomped out the flames and we finished the service without any more hiccups, but immediately after service finished I was called to meet with our Father in private (while still in my alb!), where I was promptly removed from altar service and placed onto the choir instead because I "might as well put those lungs to good use". At the very least it gave me a love of choir. As of January of this year, the burn spot is still in the carpet.

Secondly is when I was freshly 18 and stuck in New York for a week to perform at Carnegie Hall with the rest of my class. We had this big buffet to celebrate meeting our composer for the first time (who is very famous). But me and a girl both got mild food poisoning. She made it to the bathroom, I did not, and I ended up spewing in the middle of the 34th Street Macy's food court in New York City.
