additional info on sizes re: mukuro and junko.

i originally had them both at 32 band size - 32A for mukuro and 32DD for junko.

and then realized that the wiki has the chest size in inches for some of the characters (i was looking for clothes fit reasons again, don't judge me) - it doesn't for junko, but it does for mukuro.

mukuro's 31 inches, which would round up to 32.

which means probably they're both roughly a 30 band size (or a 28 if we want to go by the art and not have mukuro be a size a).

let's assume 28, given how scrawny they are based on their weight.

this would put mukuro at a 28C and junko at a 28DDDD/F. (there's roughly a four inch difference between the two.)

if we keep at 30 for a band size, mukuro would be a 30A and junko would be a 30DD.

research suggests that junko has a fifty/fifty shot of having constant back, neck, or shoulder pain just from how big her boobs are.

so, uh, the potential for nonbinary icon junko enoshima to have chronic pain is. a possibility.

they would also make it harder for her to breathe, particularly while exercising, which would further contribute to ultimate analyst junko enoshima could probably do all of this martial arts stuff she's learned but can't do it very long because not only does she not have the muscle mass, she can't breathe either.

✧ when it comes to Dan Heng, it's not often he rambles about his experiences so it all must've started with you asking him a bit here and there

✧ if you're not part of Express crew, it probably started with you asking about his adventures and naturally, he answered it with some more details, figuring you may not know how it is to adventure between planets like that

✧ if you are part of the Express tho, he'll still answer your worries but they most likely won't include as much details and there will be times when he just tells you to check it by yourself next time

"Jarilo VI is actually rather nice. You should join us next time we drop by there so you can see what's interesting for you yourself. Oh, but make sure you have some jacket, just in case."

✧ he isn't trying to be mean or anything, he just figures it's the best if you see it with your own two eyes instead

✧ you literally have to lead him to the verge of bursting out with annoyence so he'll tell you anything you're interested in

✧ you better not ask too many questions at once or in one conversation or he'd quickly grow annoyed and go back to being unwilling at telling you anything

✧ and then you call him a big title? magical person? he doesn't show it but he actually appreciates the compliments and just maybe he'll tell you easier about his past if you continue to spoil his pride

Undead AU where a virus spreads through Hope's Peak turning all the Ultimates into undead, meaning they eat flesh, can turn people by biting them, lose their self-control, etc.

Only the lucky students are immune. For the sake of the city, the Hope's Peak faculty lock everyone on campus. The reserve course students are left to fend for themselves against the hungry Ultimates, and the lucksters try to take care of their respective classes. They get bitten copiously in the same way cat owners get bitten a lot, but they're immune, so it's fine.

(The first time he's bitten, Nagito is like, "Aw, it looks like it won't spread to me. That's a shame.")

Nagito pretty quickly resigns himself to trapping reserve course students for his class to eat. He doesn't just let them run loose eating people; he keeps control over their portions, so they don't just kill with reckless abandon.

"Akane, you can't eat both of them by yourself," he chides mildly. "There has to be enough for everyone." (The words "enough for everyone" seem to click even in her undead brain, because she immediately switches gears, making sure everyone gets to eat some.) "Hiyoko...Yeah, it's okay to bite me. Just leave all my limbs intact, if you can. AH! That...really hurt, Ibuki."

Meanwhile, Makoto is unwilling to let his class eat reserve course students at all. He brings them raw meat from the kitchen and works himself up to trapping animals. Maybe he lures a crane to Sayaka to eat, because parallels.

He and Nagito compare notes on their strategies of caring for their classmates; they run into each other in the hallway a lot, and sometimes Makoto catches one of Nagito's classmates sneaking out of their classroom or vice versa.

"Looking for this?" Nagito says, interrupting Makoto's sprint through the hallway. He's walking hand-in-hand with Hina, who is contentedly munching on someone's detached arm.

"Whose arm is that?!" Makoto exclaims. (Chihiro is on his back. She didn't sneak out or anything; she just clings to his back sometimes. She's gnawing at his ear, but he ignores it.) "Did she kill someone?"

"Nope. It was like that when we found it," Nagito lies. "Probably one of the upperclassmen's handiwork." Really, he used the arm of one of the reserve course students he trapped earlier to lure Hina back. And he's letting her keep it, as a treat.

Makoto sighs dejectedly. "They said this is just until they find a cure, right? That's what the headmaster said. The best scientists in the world are looking for a cure. Then everyone will be back to normal."

"Of course. I'm sure it won't be long now."

"...But it's terrible we haven't been able to keep the reserve course safe from them."

"Hey, chin up. It's a small price to pay to keep our classmates healthy."

"I don't think it's a small price at all. They-"

"Ah, I think another one of your charges is loose."

Makoto glances back. "Taka. Thanks for trying to help, but I've really got it covered out here. Why don't you take Chihiro back inside?"

Taka, one of the few undead who still consistently stands upright (though his posture isn't as straight as it once was) takes Chihiro off Makoto's back, and she immediately crawls onto his, resting her head on top of Taka's as he walks back toward their classroom.

"Hina, you want to go share that with Sakura? Yeah, go ahead. Don't let Byakuya see it, okay?"

Hina goes back to the classroom, too.

"I should head back," Nagito says. "If I'm away much longer, half of them will be gone by the time I return. And it's hard enough to wrangle Fuyuhiko; Akane and Gundham will take all day."

"You're bleeding," Makoto observes, with an alarmed frown. "Do you want me to look at that? I have bandages, back at-"

"No thanks. I'm alright."

"Maybe we should switch classes every now and then. Most of my classmates don't really bite all that hard...except Junko. But with her, you just have to be quick."

"Switch classes? That could be interesting..."

One day they do try to switch, but Nagito still gets bitten a lot (He suspects the 78th class think he's hiding Makoto from them; it would explain why a lot of them are hostile.), and Makoto is still mostly unscatched (Though Ibuki does tackle him and drag him to a, for lack of a better word, "nest" that the Ultimate Impostor has built, and he has to kind of just lie there and let them both lightly gnaw at his flesh for a while.). Nagito lets Makoto bandage him up, trying not to blush at the attention.

Some angsty Terukaneaoi food for you: What if after this arc the clock keepers lose their yorishiro + power. In the past, people that were abducted by supernaturals lost their memories of it once the yorishiro was destroyed (look at Aoi in nr.2 story arc). So what if Akane would lose his memories of everything supernatural? He would forget about the severance and his advances with Aoi and instead would go back to confessing to her like crazy which would probably hurt Aoi a lot. He would also forget that Teru is an exorcist which in return means that Teru lost his only friend he could freely talk to about all his problems. Teru would try to shelter him from remembering it, because he knows it's what Akane would want (he wants to be normal and hates supernaturals after all) but it would hurt Teru a lot because this Akane doesn't know him truly and he needs to keep lying to him.

oooh angst! Just my tipe of angst too! Don't mind if I accept this food and throw a few random headcanons into this AU

Akane would get a headache when he is with Teru. He knows Teru is his friend and he is far from the charming prince that people perceive him as but Akane has no idea how they became friends (he just assumes it was through student council duties), he has no idea why there is a sense of guilt when he looks at Teru (he can't remember his clock keeper betrayal) nor why he associates Teru with safety, is not like him, a normal high school boy, need protection, right? He doesn't know why he has a pair of glasses with no prescription from Teru and even less why he takes great care of the glasses he doesn't use. He also know Aoi have a bracelet from him so he assumes these are weird gifts from someone with bad taste. What he is able to piece together from the tiny things he remembers with Teru is that he is one of the few people the president trusts, and he assumes he knows him (which is no longer true now that he doesn't know he is an exorcist.) taking pride in that.

Akane randomly gifts him a pen cause he had mistakenly assumed the 'something is off' feeling he gets when he thinks too hard about his enchanted glasses was born from getting a present from someone he values and not giving Teru anything back.

Teru can spend days happy near Akane, able to talk about his siblings and tease his crush on Aoi, keeping the topic focused on student council duties and other simple things, but he feels dead inside when he relaxes too much in Akane's presence and a reference to supernaturals slip up. He hates lying to Akane, and he hates even more when Akane sees through a lie, especially those that involve injuries. If he hears Akane says he should "leave his mysterious job for something less dangerous" again he will snap.

Akane feels uneasy when he hears clocks ticking. He stopped wearing his wristwatch.

Akane knows Aoi changed, she's acting more shy and reading his messages more, but he doesn't remember what he did to make them grow closer. It's maddening. Whatever he did must have gotten a lot of points? How could he forget? Why is he so forgetful about... anything regarding Aoi recently? (he doesn't even remember she is a Kannagi) He believes it's something he did, so he tries harder.

Aoi was flustered by the change at first. After learning Akane loves her despite all her flaws, she starts to believe in Akane's words so she is weak on the knee when he says he loves her so much with a big smile! But her shy joy crash and burn the second she notices his eager smile, as if waiting for her score.

They fell into a routine and she is horrified, she isn't brave enough to open up again so she leaves small unsaid hints as best she can't, and while Akane does catch some of it, since he is very perceptive, it still feels like they aren't on the same page. Akane stop waiting for scores when aoi stopped giving them, and goes back to her side ilke a moth to a flame when giving her space makes her distressed, fumbling like a hopeless idiot around her in an attempt to understand what she want, what will 'win her heart', and even if it doesn't, what will make her the happiest.

Even when he asks "What is wrong?" directly, she say "Nothing <3" cause she doesn't know how to explain, or how to gain that level of honesty again without a drug to help her emotions feel more manageable. He doesn't know what he did wrong but at least, he understands every indirect invitation to watch movies with her, they still spend more time together than they used to, getting ocasional instances where both are relaxed.

Teru still approaches Aoi to talk about his random questions and small talk, but he starts to talk about supernaturals with her too, since she remembers the trio Far Shore trips. She finds Teru even weirder when she gets more details on his job and views, but it doesn't bother her, welcoming the company.

Akane can somewhat sense that they are hiding something from him, and that they are growing closer together, it drives him insane on many levels, he even thought they were dating in secret at some point, but they snorted at the idea. They don't give him clear answers and doing his own research doesn't help either, he just has these vague feelings he can't explain. The most he could piece together is that he had 'an accident that messed with his memories', which is weird cause Lemon and his other classmates don't seem aware of whatever accident aoi and teru are shaken by.

You met Shinichiro about a year ago. You found him dragging two motorcycle engines along the road and you felt inclined to help him. That help had the element of exchanging numbers, a few dates, and a weird confession that ended up with you and him in bed.

Nevertheless, even when Shinichiro had to go back to his homeland, he was always thinking about you. Sure, he had to work a few more hours at the bike shop to pay for international calls, but it was worth it every time.

"Oh! And I won a contest today! You won't believe how I did it!" Your excited voice makes Shinichiro chuckle. "Tell me all about it, bituin. I have time."

"You sure? Isn't it midnight there?" You ask him. "You should be sleeping, Shin. Don't tell me you're gonna stay up all night and work at the bike shop..."

"Well, my work involves the bike shop but I'm not going to stay up all night. Again." Shinichiro scratches the back of his neck as he said that, laughing a little. "Enough about me, bituin. Tell me about that contest."

"Ah, right! So my instructional materials..."

Shinichiro didn't mind that the late hours were fast approaching. He couldn't wait to see you again. After all, he'll be hearing your voice again in a few months. He needed to count his money for a flight to the Philippines.

Ryusei didn't mind if you drank a lot. Besides, you only drank whenever you had a problem. Which was... usually every at the end of the month.

It didn't help that it was finals month. You were already on your fourth glass of whiskey, but it was strange to Ryusei. He had been with you long enough to know that you were a loud type of drunk, yet here now, you were as quiet as a mouse.

Something was up.

"Babe." Ryusei lightly taps on your shoulder. "You've been quiet all night. Did something happen?"

You were still quiet, but you only nod. Ryusei didn't really need to ask, so he just holds his arms out. "Come on, I hate seeing you like this."

A sniffle was heard from you, and you wipe your eyes before you bury yourself into his arms. "What made you think something was wrong, Ryu?"

"You're an annoying baby when you're drunk, babe." Ryusei teases with a small chuckle. You look up at him, pouting. "Can't really hide anything from you can't I?" You ask before burying yourself back into your boyfriend's chest.

Ryusei gently strokes your hair. "Mhm. Nothing really, no."

Senju always spoils you. A lot. Even a simple window-shopping date would end up with you carrying at least one bag of something that you liked.

Senju just... liked buying you stuff. You weren't financially struggling, just really, really silent with what you want and you always decline if anyone would offer you to buy something. Even when someone wanted to treat you for food, you would say no.

"Babe." Senju finally puts her hands on your shoulders. "You can't say no to this one."

"But, baby-" You try to start but your girlfriend shakes her head. "No. You can't decline this one. This is something you've been wanting try and eat for months!"

You had a perplexed look on your face. "Listen, baby. I really appreciate the things you do, but I don't deserve them." You hold her hands as you say that, looking down. "I really... really don't."

There was something laced in your tone of voice. Senju knew that tone all too well. She cups your face now, making you look at her. "Babe. You deserve everything. You... you really do." Senju smiles a little. "If anything, it's me who doesn't deserve you."

You widen your eyes at that, trying to stop the tears from falling. "Don't cry." Senju wipes your tears away with her thumbs. "Listen, you're valid and you deserve so much. Now come on, lets go and try that dessert you've been eyeing."

You and Akane met through a mutual friend. The friend hangouts would turn into friendly dates and those friendly dates would lead to romantic dates.

This was your first relationship with someone. And someone like Akane was... a one of a kind.

It was like the red strings of fate pulled you both together, and ever since then the both of you have been inseparable. All those pictures, dates, hugs, and kisses is what made your relationship with Akane much more meaningful.

"Look, it's snowing." Akane giggles when a snowflake lands on your nose. "I guess winter's coming early."

"Funny, winter reminded me of our first date." You say with a laugh. "I was... a nervous wreck, now that I remember it."

"Tell me about it. You spilled juice all over yourself." Akane had a teasing grin and you only blush at the memory. "I didn't spill! The cup just moved on its own!" You retaliate in defense, making Akane laugh. "Hey, Akane-chan! Stop laughing!"

Akane couldn't stop her fit of laughter and you cup her face with your mittens, making her stare at your red face. Akane's face mimicked yours, obviously surprised. "Uh--Wow, you're on a trip to memory lane, are you?"

You only smile. "Yeah... I remember cupping your face like this..."

"And I put my arms around your neck..." Akane does the action, now smiling.

You both stare at each other before closing the gap. The first kiss is always the most memorable, and while others say that finding that spark was impossible, you and Akane definitely kept the spark going.

Chifuyu was always the aggressive golden retriever in the relationship, and even he seemed to notice too. He was clingy, affectionate, a gentleman; you name it.

But what really came down to it was how passionate he was. You didn't mind that he read shoujo manga. You were an avid reader yourself, and that meant the conversations would be way longer than anyone else that you knew.

"Sunshine!" It was the usual routine once more, with the blond hugging you from behind and you giggling at the affectionate action. It had been... what, only six months? Yeah, six months since the both of you started dating. "Hey, Fuyu." You lean up and kiss him on the cheek. "Ready to go?"

Chifuyu lets go of the hug, still smiling. "Why wouldn't I be ready for this? It's our six month anniversary!" He held your hand as the both of you walked in the crowded streets of Shinjuku. There was a Nana themed coffee shop and Chifuyu wanted to take you.

You were curious now, so you finally plucked up the courage. "Hey, Fuyu?"

"Hmm?"

"How come you're always happy around me?"

Chifuyu looked at you, stunned. "Why wouldn't I be happy around the love of my life?"

"Well..." You cleared your throat. "I dunno. I just have that nagging feeling."

Chifuyu had a blank expression on his face before leaning to kiss your nose. Your face turns bright red at the action, and the blond only smiles sweetly. "I love you too much. Seeing you everyday was a blessing already. And dating you? That was probably the best miracle I could ever ask."

So I remembered doing a bit of digging on the possible meanings behind the fox statues that take the forefront of Akane's Jail and found this:

This definitely paints the symbolism in both a heartbreaking and even small heartwarming light due to a convo I had with a Twitter mutual about them.

All of this would make sense considering that the main puzzle is reuniting the Mother and Father Fox statues to open a path. Which can represent how she felt like her family became broken after her mother died. She wanted it all to be fixed so badly. When it was happy.

It helps that the locations/shrines you have to pray to in order to reach the Mother Fox shrine and reunite the statues are labeled: "Couple," "Harmony," "Parental," "Daughter," and "Fortune" respectively.

(I thought that comment from Makoto was interesting to note)

Another thing is that the whole puzzle is also primarily triggered by locating and activating the Father Fox shrine first.

Her Jail in general is just so subtle with the symbolism compared to the other Monarchs but at the same time it can show her isolation and feeling closed-off/not being willing to open up about her trauma. Because to her, no will listen or believe her. So minus well just hide. Despite her apparent anger and hatred towards Zenkichi though, she just wants it all to be ok again deep down. She wants her father back, she wants her mother back, she wanted all the happiness back that was abruptly taken away from her that day.

This is further supported by her Shadow's dialogue as she disappears (how he had changed after Aoi died):

But a summary: Akane's Jail can actually be much deeper when you really think about it as it's more than just her obsession with the PTs. It's also about an angry but traumatized kid who probably wanted her whole family back but probably knows that it just isn't possible so resorted to unhealthy coping mechanisms and lashing out instead along with feeling alone and neglected as a result of her father's absence along with being denied justice for her loss for 2 years.

And that's also part of why her character hits so close to home along with Zenkichi. At least for me.

Probably jokes a little bit when you suggest going bowling. She doesn't hate the idea, it just already gives her old school vibes.

I like to think that she's awful at bowling. Not because she can't aim, but because she can NOT control her strength when she throws the ball. Also doesn't throw the ball like she's supposed to. She ends up getting quite a few warnings and fouls.

It's honestly kind of funny. She pouts a bit at the whole thing, but she tells you that her next ball will be a strike - which when she does bowl properly, she does great, she's just bad at bowling properly.

Asahina

Surprisingly really good at bowling. She does strive to be good at a lot of sports. And it helps that she finds bowling to be very fun.

Makes a bet with you. This is friendly competition after all. If she wins, then she wants you to buy her some yummy, overpriced bowling alley food. She'll settle for funnel cake, but if they have donuts then you know what she wants.

Asahina isn't a big fan of losing. She pouts a bit, but does cheer up easily. The game was really fun and she liked spending time with you. She gladly gives you a big hug and congratulates you if you win. She'll be the one to buy you both some donuts now, totally not using it as an excuse to treat herself too~

Sonia

She doesn't know a whole lot about bowling. She's read about it in books and how effective the ball can be used as a weapon. But she likes the idea of actually playing the game with you.

Sonia gets surprisingly competitive with bowling. Even though she doesn't really have much experience playing it, she still tries her best. She would be the one that ends up being surprisingly good at bowling. She accidentally gets spares and strikes quite often.

Would also be one to ask you to buy her something if she wins. Would want a nice cake, which considering this is a bowling alley, that might be a bit hard to come by. Although she's never had funnel cake before so I can imagine her falling in love.

I feel you so much on the Mondo thing... Where every character falls into some kinda category based on how liked they are (there are the ones everyone likes, ones everyone hates, the underrated characters, etc.), Mondo's sort of floating off in this innocuous void?? Obviously he has a cult following and he has his haters, but most of the fandom just kinda doesn't even care?? It's complete indifference, and the only reason he isn't considered an underrated character is because he's in one of the much more popular ships. Other than some characters from dr3, I kinda consider him to be the MOST underrated character. Because with characters like Hiro and Akane, at least people KNOW they're underrated. People actively look at them and think "there's more to them that we don't get to see", but with Mondo, most of his major lore details are handed to you right in chapter 2. He is made REMARKABLY easy to understand, and I don't consider that to be a writing flaw in the slightest. But I think as a result of this people just look at him, go "alright, I've seen all there is to see", and then move on without much further consideration. Then with Mondo enjoyers themselves, the line between those who like him as an individual versus those who like him as an add-on to Kiyotaka or even Chihiro is clear as day, to the point where you see people get some really surface level characterization wrong (Like I hate to be that guy but people don't make Mondo nearly the level of sopping wet beast roaming around in the middle of the target parking lot all alone as they should). Then the people who actually care about the guy write 90 page essays on him. Like there's no in-between.

YES YES I 100% AGREE!!!

I remember seeing this Instagram post back in 2021 when Danganronpa kinda had that popularity resurgence (aka when I joined the fandom). It was one of those “starter pack”memes and went something like “‘Characters the fandom doesn’t care about unless it’s shipping’ starter pack” and Mondo was part of it. And I no joke thought, “Oh wow, they included Mondo,” like I was completely expecting for him to be overlooked.

It’s rare nowadays to find a character or trial or what-have-you that’s actually underrated when it comes to the mainline DR games. Most that were probably underrated at some point just kept being talked about how underrated they were until they weren’t really considered underrated anymore.

But Mondo is underrated and no one really talks about it because no one cares. At least, outside of his small group of fans.

There’s so much analysis and deep dives you can do with him from masculinity, to negative stigmas, to repressed and untreated mental disorders. Like, he’s one of the few characters who was written to have a mental disorder (ptsd, albeit with some negative stereotypes). He’s a scared kid hiding behind the mask of a fearless leader, and the game does a great job at showing that. But no one talks about it.

And that lack of talk amongst the fandom is what eventually led to the fanon Mondo we have today. No one really wanted to analyze what he brought to the table and so people just started viewing him as the surface level macho bad boy stereotype that he was WRITTEN TO SUBVERT.

I do think that there’s some sort of devolution from that version of him that’s been happening the past couple of years with those fans who would “write 90 page essays of him” coming into the scene, and that’s great. Love that for him. I’m glad that, while he’s not nearly talked about enough, there’s been a slight increase of interest of him as an individual character and not as a ship or foil.

Anyways yeah, “Make Mondo Relevant in the Fandom 2023.” Let’s make it happen.

Do you think Yashiro has a sad past? I mean we still don't know anything about her childhood. We know even more about the Minamoto family than she does. I have the impression that aida Iro is going to drop some bomb in relation to her past. In my opinion I think that her parents are probably either divorced or argue all the time, maybe that's why she desperately seeks a fairytale love. But I would love to hear your opinion 👍

I am not personally under that impression ....but it's true Nene-chan's youngest childhood is very well hidden from us, and I do think it will be a kind of 'drop' to see young, young Nene-chan.

This is the glimpse we've gotten of her parents:

While it's Not, Like, Impossible A Divorce Happened Before Or After This, or her parents are in some way unsatisfactory..... I do not personally see how that would advance our understanding of Nene-chan's complexes. Unlike Amane, I do not think Nene-chan's cheery attitude in younger life is a facade ... we see plenty of her attitude, anyway, at many ages (though we also see that her only friend seems to be Aoi, and we do not see her BEFORE middle school for more than a single panel).

I also think Nene-chan's bedroom and the frivolousness with which she can buy herself some clothes and toys, isn't really particularly signifying struggle.... her parents seem nice to her, and she can enjoy her weirder interests or aesthetics all she pleases. At the same time, it's a small bedroom, and a humble apartment complex.

I think her biggest fear in Hell of Mirrors is very real, very Nene-chan. You have to take it to heart I think, that the Hell of Mirrors itself is honest. I think if she had something like miserable parents arguing all the time, her fear would be something like getting into a bad relationship, being an unhappy wife, romance betraying her, or something, I don't know … (considering her abusive boyfriend this would be not very good thematically lol.... it is. already happening,,)

but Nene-chan's biggest fear is simply that nobody will ever want her. And given how few friends she has, and how none of her peers will remotely vote her into a nice role in a school play, I think that's Nene-chan's actual, for real, biggest problem! Crushing reality that she's just not hot!!!! Nobody would have you in that way! You'll be alone forever-- so what if your parents 'love you'?

[PS: please laugh with me that it's all boys in the portraits mocking her .... even Lemon is here ... that is so sad Nene-chan. The idea even Lemon would not have you. O-or a male Mokke,,]

I think THAT is her struggle, and it sets her apart from characters like Teru or Aoi (well-admired and considered attractive), Akane (who is well-liked broadly by the student body)-- people whos problems are not remotely 'Am I Desirable and Hot?'.

and yet continues the general concept of lonliness and pining we do explore again and again (Teru hides his pain while desperately loving his family, Kou is trusted with nothing important & is not taken seriously, Aoi hides her true self for disdain and mistrust of others, Mitsuba seems to PLATONICALLY pine for company and love, Sakura feebly reads books, hamfistedly attempts at proper socializing, embarrassed to do it wrong)....

I don't personally think a girl needs a 'reason' to be a romantic ... it can be tragic enough that a girl can want something so helplessly and be so bad at it. So beyond fail at it. So inexperienced socially she bombs over and over and over. We OPEN THE MANGA with Nene-chan being ludicrously bad at it....

I think Iro-sensei pities this immensely lol...

Personally? I think the spoiler is that young Nene-chan was very weird, worse than she is now, and perhaps even ... overtly strange and even... boyish?

an utterly undateable girl, who made her efforts come middle school to try to be a little different... a girl who, I like to think, Aoi saw being rejected, and, didn't want to reject like everyone else (even despite how determined to be alone Aoi typically is!! I think Nene-chan was special!)

It would be cute... if she was just so Tsukasa-like (: I would like Amane... to see her as a younger child, and feel kind of like .... "noooooooooooo... what... no.... why.... what ... this is a picture of a boy, isn't it? This ... can't..... . be. - However, she will keep you protected as much as she can

- She will also help with your injuries after, giving each one a kiss as she wraps it with a cloth

- She will ask you to stop fighting, not wanting you to get hurt or get in trouble

- She will try and plead with you

- She is really worried about your safety

- If you do get in trouble, she won't be able to do much to get you out of it but she will be with you the whole time

- She will sit in detention with you and read, hoping her company has a positive effect for you

- After detention she will give you a bit of a ‘I told you so’ knowing that you would get in trouble

- She will probably also have video evidence to get the other guy expelled

- So he won't be seeing you for a bit if Tsukasa didn’t already intervene for fun

I've seen a couple text posts talking about Danganronpa and their dirty writing of Korekiyo Shinguji. Those people are right, but I don't think the damage is *too* bad and has a pretty easy fix.

Before I get into specifics, know I'm not talking about the mess that is his trail. I'll bring it up briefly tho.

Danganronpa has an intriguing way of writing its characters. Each one is written to be the protagonist of their story. As every character has "anime protagonist syndrome", generally they have some type of heavy trauma, but with the exception of Ultra Despair Girls(Warriors of Hope) every character doesn't seem to realize their own struggles.

With small exceptions like Chihiro's getting stronger arc or Sonia being like "ruling a kingdom is a little stressful" most Dr characters don't realize the harm that's been done to them or are very casual about it.

With the character not seeing their struggle as trauma or that bad, the narrative treats them in the same way.

Example: Mondo Owada, in his trial it's revealed he killed his brother. Looking at the situation most fans say he *didn't* kill his brother, but because Mondo's perception is that he did the story follows his narrative.

Danganronpa does this for every character.

This approach to writing is really good, but if not done correctly drastically hurts characters. Most Dr characters have unique trauma so it's not as noticeable, ie, Kiyotaka, Hiyoko, Celeste. But the ones with heavy (more realistic/more relatable) trauma shows more, like sexual assault. - to my memory three characters have sexual assault as apart of their backstory, Mikan, Akane, and Korekiyo.

Mikan has the whole fanservice deal where she needs attention at any cost, but I think she knows what she went through wasn't her fault. To a degree at least(?) - Akane, to my memory, is closer to Korekiyo's case where she doesn't know the abuse she suffered was abuse.(I'll get back to the front tails thing).

Writing Korekiyo as he doesn't know it was abuse in *any* capacity is fitting for who his abuser is. He's open minded to the fault of his safety and he trusted her so why would they ever hurt him? But because he doesn't think it was abuse, the narrative follows his perception.

To offset this and any characters that fall into this trap would be to have the protagonist recognize something isn't right. - In Kiyo's FTE he barely talks about his sister(probably to not tip people off to the twist) but to fix his issue Dr would have had to talk about her. They could leave out their relationship dynamic but they could talk about her personality. How controlling she was, how Kiyo would give into any demand because she was sick, how she was older than him, so then Shuichi/Keade could go "His sister seems very controlling but he seems happy with that arrangement." Or "I could never hang out with someone like that, I don't know how he does."

The protagonist recognizing the behavior as weird is what saved Akane(besides her trauma not being the case) when she was going off about front tails Hajime was put off. Showing that someone sees that something isn't right. .

Okay. It can't be ignored. His trail. - It was dumb. The writers wanted to show off the twist of incestuous siblings but to do that his motivation would have had to be his sister, but wait, why would he suddenly be killing for her now after years of not? I KNOW! He was always a serial killer; he was just waiting for the right moment to strike! - I'm convinced the team couldn't think of a reason to tie her into the narrative so this was the best they could come up with. (Also in their picture together Kiyo needed to look younger than he does in the game. His timeline is one of the most convoluted, I swear.)

Tldr: Korekiyo just suffers from being too subtle. The writers needed to focus a bit more onto his sister and most issues would have been fixed. Also he's not a serial killer, which makes no sense to his character.

oh, the new guard will interact with eiji and miki, he just doesn't want to do it in person yet, so he's just gonna leave notes, use screens for "video calls", etc! (i also thought of giving them phones (that they can't use to get help and ask someone to get them out of there obviously) so that the guards can text each other but i felt like it wouldn't feel as isolating as it's supposed to, soooo yeah) but he will join them eventually, he's just a bit shy and feeling very confused right now (and he doesn't really want to leave that room anyway).

there's also a small hint to his identity and like, which prisoner he's connected to, but it's really vague and i only mentioned that detail when i answered one of the asks i got dfhjdkskssl. i'm very excited for his interactions with haruto though >:D (honestly i wonder how your prisoners would react to how my prisoners have changed)

Your third guard has truly taken us all by storm adsjdsjkdskdsk can't wait for the reveal can't wait for the reveal can't wait for the reveal-

As for how my prisoners would react to your prisoners' development, let's start with my ocs that have formed friendships with yours!

Ichiro isn't doing well from his guilty vote either, but I can imagine him being more clingy towards Akio. He likes being around the other boy, and finds his presence comforting, even though Akio's current state makes him very anxious. He would help Akio walk around anytime, and got very distressed when Akio beat his head against the wall even though he himself has developed that habit.

I'm making myself sad imagining Akio and Ichiro curled up in a room together, their respective voices raging in their heads. Akio mumbling to himself while Ichiro holds onto his hand with a death grip. Yikes.

I'm not sure if Aimi would stop being friends with Akane after the start of trial 2, but if so...Akane wouldn't take that very well. She'd probably try to communicate with Aimi, find out if she did something wrong. But if Aimi doesn't give her a straight answer, then that's the end of their short lived friendship.

But if Aimi continues to be friends with Akane, everything would go on smoothly. Akane will even help Aimi take care of Akio, as long as he doesn't reject her help. Sure, Aimi's new less-friendly demeanor is a little weird, but Akane doesn't think much of it. For now.

Daisuke would be horrified by Kei's condition actually. He just isn't used to seeing the other so...hurt and in pain. He'd try and help out whenever he can, but Shun and Eiko creep him out, so he finds himself not visiting Kei as much as he can. He tries to talk to Kei once in a while, but seeing his once cheerful companion in so much suffering puts him in a really bad mood for the rest of the day.

So I have a feeling like Bachira is a bit weird towards his fangirls because he just like to play around but will be serious if he has to. So when fsngirls started surrounding him he literally just joked around, he even mentioned having a girlfriend plenty of time!

But he could feel someone picking him up either way... he looked for the cause which happened to be no one else than you!

"That ass is mine!!" - and you slapped his ass

He really just has fun from all this situation. He'll literally enjoy being carried by you and may even compliment how stron you are saying how the two of you can carry each other often (he probably also mentions your height on the way-).

But expect him to do the same or something really when he feels jealous, after all he wants to show you how fun this is too!

Now Kunigami isn't the type to ignore or be mean to his fans unless they're really being pushy. So when few fans came to him, he decides to talk with them since he's waiting for you either way, chat was pretty normal but it seems to not matter to you because the next second he knew it, you picked him up...

"That ass is mine!!" - and you slapped his ass

It's safe to say that he literally had pikachu face on... not only because you surprised him by suddenly picking him up out of nowhere but also because you can pick him up... He knew you were strong but now he's impressed! But there's still slight worry about you so he insists you should put him down.

"Y/N, can you put me down? I don't want to be the reason why you may have back problems."

If you agree, he'll calmly wall next to your side. If you don't then there's nothing much he can do about it, so he just decides to stay like that untill you're willing to put him down as he doesn't really mind fans seeing him like this. He thinks he should be proud that his girlfriend is this strong.

Chigiri is also the type to be nice to their fans but he can be harsh if someone's mean or pushy. But since fans that approached him now were sweet, he wasn't harsh at all! Instead he just had peaceful talk with them~

But few minutes of just them talking, he could feel himself getting picked up and he was about to process and defend himself but only a small noise of shock went out as he quickly saw it's his girlfriend.

"That ass is mine!!" - and you slapped his ass

Just you picking him up made him blush ever so slightly but then you also said this?! Now he's really emberrased...

"Y-Y/N... maybe you can... put me down now?"

His face will flushed very time you or someone else mentions this situation to him. He's really just emberrassed because of your boldness... He's of course still impressed by you but the fact that you were in public when you did that is enough to make him flustered.

Let's be honest here, when fsngirls came to Nagi he was literally so confused. He's just waiting for his gf to come back and while playing on his phone... It passed few second and he really was lazily speaking with them just to since he had to wait a bit to start new round either way.

But that's when he felt someone picking him up. He was about to protest and get away from that someone but it happened to be you so he just rested on your shoulder as if it's normal.

Well he was shocked but then again, he felt comfortable like this.

He's literally acting as if this was your daily life... It's confusing to say the least but it's also good he's not mad at you for that? But prepare that now when showed him how strong you are, he'll start using it to make you carry him around...

When all these fangirls can to Reo, he knew well what to do. He's a loyal men but he's also kind to his fans so he'll be polite but at the same time, he won't let it go too far.

But it seems like you aren't the patianet or calm time to begin with and he probably knows it well. Because I'm this moment when he's calmly talking, he can feel someone picking him up...

He was shocked to say the least... he knew you were strong for your height but you literally picked him up and now are even running away with him?! As much as he finds it amusing, he also finds is quite emberrassing...

It was weird enough to even be allocated this particular mission - the 9th doesn't have a lot of human territory to manage, but this isn't even one of them. He was told he'd be 'on loan'. He's fine with it, really, the human world doesn't bother him. But he didn't get told he'd have a partner!

Choice 1: Call him out for being rude! Choice 2: Apologise for the confusion, but it's not her fault! Choice 3: Choose your own

Option 3: A chance encounter - Caught off duty!

She's very very pretty, almost too pretty for a dive like this one. Long, dark hair spilling down her back, and big doe-like eyes, and a small nose. She doesn't have the physical mass that Hisaka's come to expect of the female enlistee's in the Gotei - at least none in his division - but he can tell from the sureness of her hands and the confidence of her posture that she is a shinigami.

He'd come out tonight with colleagues, not an unusual occurrence, but at this time on a Friday night, most of them had eitehr drifted off or gone home. He was left with the stragglers and the enablers.

It's dark in the izakaya, the room is warm, the air smells sweet, and he's already had probably a little too much to drink. It's the only reason he finds the confidence to slide up to her stool and the trio of ladies sitting with her.

"Hey, I - uh. Ah. Um. Well, I had a pick up line prepared but I forgot it as soon as I saw your face up close."

Choice 1: Laugh! It's cute, and you don't mind flirting a little. Choice 2: Turn him down, you're emotionally unavailable. Choice 3: Choose your own

I was wondering if I could also have the same characters and same concept but if you remember the argument between Natsuki and Yuri can it be on that?

(Now obviously it doesn't have to be done right away since I got my last request last night or so and I don't want you stressed out with so many requests)

Ryoma Hoshi, Mondo Owada, Chihiro Fujisaki, Nekomaru Nidai and Akane Owari with an s/o like Yuri-- who's gotten in an argument with a friend:

Disclaimer: arguments, implied harshness and discomfort below

Ryoma:

-He'd come to visit a club you frequented. As he came in, it was clear something was up-- you seemed very upset.

-You'd gotten in an argument with a clubmate: they said something that struck you as offensive, and you shot back. You insulted them in a way very unlike yourself, which then led to regret.

-The clubmate left in tears, while you remained in shock. Ryoma approached you and pulled up a chair to console you.

- "Listen, babe. We've all made mistakes-- I know I have. You both probably feel bad about it, so all you've gotta do is make amends. Okay?"

Mondo:

-He was dropping you off to school on his bike when it happened. A classmate came to see you, and as he was walking away, he realized things were going south.

-Usually you were so calm; Mondo had never seen you like this before. While irritated, you said words you'd never truly mean... which you realized soon after.

-He didn't catch up in time to help diffuse the situation, but he knew you were still shaken. With an arm around your shoulder, he spoke:

- "You both messed up, yeah? Well, lemme give you some advice I got from my brother. It's just as easy to patch things up as it is to tear 'em, so things'll be just fine."

Chihiro:

-The two of you were leaving school for the day when you received a text from a friend of yours. While you typed away, Chihiro couldn't help but notice your body language did a 180.

-The conversation had taken a turn for the worst, and the messages did the same. You sent some truly mean texts, as did they. Soon enough you both stopped, guilt taking over.

-Chihiro quickly clasped your hands, with a comforting expression. They knew how easy it was to lose control online, what with today's world.

-"Hey sweetheart, are you okay? I'm sure neither of you meant what you said-- it's nothing you can't fix! Let's take it easy for now."

Nekomaru:

-He'd taken you out for lunch at a local diner, and as you took your seats, an acquaintance of yours stopped by.

-Initially, it was merely small talk, but Nekomaru knew things were tense. A short while after, it turned into an ugly spat between you and the passerby.

-He knew he needed to interject, so he firmly interrupted the argument, to mediate. Nothing good would come from this conflict.

- "Now, now. Things got a little out of hand here, but you can both fix this! An apology is all it takes, and it'll make this fight a thing of the past."

Akane:

-You were just out and about, running some errands with Akane. As you approached the grocery store, a classmate had spotted you. They began a conversation with you, but it spiraled out of control.

-In your frustration, you spoke without thinking-- as we all do. After some stunned silence it was clear you didn't mean it.

-Akane had been through some mistaken outbursts herself, so she knew how you felt. She pulled you aside to make sure you recovered.

- "You both got pretty heated there! That happens, I totally get it. I know it sucks right now, but this isn't the end of the world. You'll both forgive and forget!"

The ones who admire you silently from afar, sitting in their seat a ways from you and gaze at you longingly during class when no-one else is watching. A small smile breaks out on their faces when they see you bite your pencil or furrow your brows while you try to understand the work. Feeling someone staring, you look back but are a little disappointed when you find that they're not looking at you. Though they ooze awkward normalcy, when you turn away the slightest blush could be caught on their face and a look in their eyes could've written novels for how they felt about you.

So when they swoop in and make an excuse that you're supposed to be elsewhere, its selfish because they don't know your feelings for them, but they bravely hold your hand tighter....clinging to fact that this is possibly the closest they'll ever get to you without fearing to lose what you are.

So when there's a moment you're alone, they get a weird surge of confidence, and will talk to you normally until you bring up the fact that they are avoiding you. They stumble on an answer, and you try and comfort them by asking if they need help you'll be there, this backfires and they have to leave. A raging blush is on their face they try to calm themselves, cursing you for becoming more to them than a friend.
