Saw that your requests are open, so thoughts on Dear having scars (surgery, accident, doesn't really matter), and Lasko having a particular liking of tracing/kissing them? While they're not self-conscious about them, they find themself being extremely emotional about it?

Pairings: Lasko/Dear
cw: mentions of scars (ambiguous to sh, top surgery, or accident etc)

rain pattered the roof in a steady stream, the relaxing background noise soothed the pair.
lasko and his dear were trying to napping on a cozy Saturday afternoon at laskos place. they’d been snuggling for a few hours, lingering touches and very scarce words.
lasko noticed their eyes closed, but he couldn’t tell if they were really asleep. his hand found a place it frequently went back to.
his hand very lightly traced the scars littering their body, not an eyesore but just another things that made them beautiful to him.
he loved the trust they had for him, he appreciated how they didn’t mind when he was close like this.
they liked how he felt relaxed with them, how he didn’t bother(usually) to ramble and go on a tangent just to explain himself because he knew they knew what he meant.
sure they wouldn’t go out of their way to cover them with makeup or something, but they were always confused as to why lasko was so touchy with them. why he would kiss them and touch them, he would compliment them etc.
dear had never heard or seen anyone go out of their way to point things about them that they didn’t always notice about themselves.
but damn Lasko was persistent.
“why do you do that?” they whispered sleepily, after being so lost in thought for hours they were the first to speak.
laskos head rose from the pillow his hair was messy and his eyes were squinted and he rubbed his eye.
“what? do what?” he asked quietly. they moved their hand to his forearm, rubbing it. he smiled briefly before looking back into their eyes as he waited for their response.
“why do you like doing that with my scars all the time.. i mean i haven’t noticed until recently, but looking back on a few months ago yeah you do it a lot.” they explained, thumb still rubbing circles into his forearm, a soft, and comfortable touch.
Lasko didn’t answer immediately. he thought for a while, he looked at them with confusion but he smiled.
“does it bother you?” he asked first, when they shook their head he looked relieved. the thought of making them uncomfortable was so horrible to him.
“oh okay good.” he said with a chuckle. he rested his head back down on the pillow, hand still resting on dear.
they sighed and rested back, pulling the covers over their shoulders. light music played from a distance the rain soothed them.
lasko noticed their distant look he rose his brow and smiled.
“hey?” he whispered, his voice still soft and tired.
“hey..” they said back to him.
“do you not like your scars?” he asked curiously, his hand still resting on them but not moving.
they thought for a minute, not answering right away. they didn’t not like them? but they didn’t go out of their way to show them off. they were never asked about their scars, people usually avoided the topic when they saw them.
especially people who didn’t know what had happened, or why they were there. if they brought it up or even barely mentioned it people would shut the conversation down.
“It’s not that I don’t, and I'm not.. insecure about them but it’s just weird that you're so curious err comfortable with them.”
they cleared their throat, making eye contact with him.
“a lot of people get super uncomfortable or just awkward when talking or seeing them i guess so it’s just different than what i’m used to.”
Lasko nodded. “I like them. I think it shows a lot about who you are and what you’ve done and overcome you know?" he smiled as he talked, a slow yawn escaping him.
they nodded slowly, their thoughts running looking for a response, nobody had every really said anything like that.
they didn't really know what to say to that, Lasko always said the things they needed to hear in the moment, even if in the moment he said to much, somewhere in the mix of his rambling he said some sweet words they definitely needed to hear.
they felt almost desperate for words, their throat tensed up and they didn’t know what to say. lasko was so perfect for them and they couldn’t even tell him. they almost cried but immediately cleared their throat.
“the movies over.” they inquired instead of responding to lasko, they felt the subtle but grateful nod was fit for him, he didn’t mind of course. he could see they didn’t really feel like encouraging the conversation so he moved on.
“what do you wanna watch? we could binge all the mission impossible movies. i have them on dvd, and i’ve only really used each of them once, so their in prime condition, also their pretty good movies i used to watch them all the time, well while i was still a student and had a little down time you know…”
lasko rambled for about 3 minutes but after all they did end up settling on the mission impossible movies, they only got through 3 before it was late and time for them to sleep.
lasko dozed off first and dear stayed up for a bit watching him ever so slightly, they watched his chest rise and fall.
“thank you lasko..” they whispered, leaving the softest kiss on his forehead before laying down and sleeping too.

Ghost Eater (Pathfinder Second Edition Archetype)
(art by Sawitry on DeviantArt)
In lands haunted by the legacies of ancient wars and tragedies, one must be prepared to find the evidence of death even centuries, perhaps millennia later.
In a fantasy setting where the ghosts of the past are very literal, that means that inevitably the exorcist becomes a quite viable, if dangerous career path. However, clearing out ghosts and other undead with emotional ties to the world rather than dark hungers means taking time to learn about them. Additionally, it also helps to keep the more hungry dead off the spellcaster snack bar too.
Enter the Ghost Eater, a specialist tradition hailing from the land of Minata that specializes in fighting the undead, putting them to rest directly or giving true exorcists the breathing room they need to put more tenacious spirits to rest permanently.
Traditionally, these warriors are not full and true casters, since they are meant to support them, having minor magical abilities at best before learning those associated with this tradition. However, there is nothing stopping caster from taking on this tradition as well, particularly if they can blend a bit of melee in as well, such as certain clerics or bards.
Additionally, even outside of Minata or Pathfinder core setting, this archetype is a natural fit for any character whose story and motivations place them in a partnership role with a fellow exorcist, especially if they are more martial while their ally is more of a caster.
Starting the dedication to this archetype means you must learn how to channel your own spirit into your strikes, and these warriors do just that, becoming able to strike spirits as if they were tangible.
Solid objects are no barrier to most of these warriors, and they’ve learned to project their spirit out of their limbs and weapons to strike at spirits that try and hide inside of them.
Later on, they can charge their strikes with more of their spirit, using their very life force as a weapon against the undead.
Some undead like to hide deeper in the ethereal plane, and in order to chase them, the most powerful of these warriors learn to step into the ether themselves, taking the fight right to their foes.
Interested in being a ghost hunter while focusing on combat? This archetype might be for you. You might be a fighter, champion, ranger, rogue, swashbuckler, or any other sort of melee build, or perhaps a ghost-shooting gunslinger, or a thaumaturge that specializes in undead in particular and so on! The short list of feats means you still get most of what makes your class fun in the first place too!
There are a lot of different angles you can play up this archetype when you think of it. Some may be dutiful servants and guardians to spellcasters, while others may be more like partners, or some may choose to forgo partners entirely in favor of sending the unquiet dead to their final reward with nothing but strength of arms.
In a distant era, the Singing Hurricane brought utter ruin to the island nation of Zaphosta, leaving many angry and frightened spirits, not to mention several song on the wind elementals. Many an exorcist has gone to the island in hopes of quelling the angst radiating from the island. But few return, and those that do are never the same.
True to their kind, Glowgrin the gourd leshy has a fasciation with all sorts of folk magic and superstitions, an interest they have turned into a career as a thaumaturge and undead-hunter. Many consider the eccentric little pumpkin a true expert in the field, and their knowledge could be a great boon if they are sought out.
The eight Masked Ghosts of Uldir have ruled the necropolis for all of living memory, though many have tried to put them to rest. Despite their name, they are made up of various forms of spectral dead, the masks of their rulership in life being what unifies them. Said masks help ward them against prayers, so putting an end to them may involve more martial forms of exorcism.
