I tried writing once

It was a weird mix of regret, pity, and simmering rage in Jake’s eyes, Rich thought. An odd combination, but it was there, in his golden brown eyes. No, Rich wasn’t hallucinating like everyone told him, he swears. Rich rolled his sleeves down, feeling his scars burn under Jake’s intense stare, a familiar fire in his eyes.
