hey dogblr. I'm currently fostering this stray dog from my neighborhood. Likely around a year old, she has great teeth. Got her up to date on vaccines, treated for intestinal parasites, heartworm negative and just got 6 month heartworm prevention shot.
Located in Mississippi but I can meet someone for the right home. Potty trained. Shes good on a leash and in a kennel but she is a chewer. Still a baby and could use some training.
She loves to snuggle and she carries around her blanket when we let her out of the kennel.
We've been calling her Poppy and we think she may be a lab/husky mix.

Meet Claudia, we found her abandoned at 8wks old, hiding in muddy grass beside the highway near the Port of Brownsville (Texas) industrial area. She's around 9 weeks old and looking for a forever home. Vaccinated and dewormed. Looks like a mini schnauzer, heeler mix, currently ~7lbs.
A gentle and human-focused puppy, great with all animals and kids. Seems like she will be a small-medium size dog with a natural off switch but eager to explore and play. Food motivated. She’s social and is basically down for whatever. She enjoys going to new places, meeting new people & dogs but she doesn’t obsess about them, makes her great for bringing in public. Claudia’s already spent a few days in the classroom with me at the university, just sleeping on a labcoat on the floor. Watching the students work.
UPDATE: she’s been adopted to a really wonderful home!

Hello Gabe! I was just browsing Petfinder for fun and found this dude:
https://www.petfinder.com/dog/rafael-57448396/fl/orlando/a-new-beginning-pet-rescue-inc-fl163/
For adoption. They are advertising him as a GSD/wolfdog, and the way they describe his behavior is consistent with wolfdog behaviors. (Nervous, scared of new things/people, and born in late February). I’m also seeing wolf features from the photo they posted in his advertisement with the tall ears, closer-set eyes, long, narrower muzzle (than a GSD), and his feet look big with his front pasterns angled at 45 degrees. What do you think? 🤔 I’m trying to learn more about wolf dogs and being able to accurately phenotype, and I know you’re quite experienced with them. Thank you for your time and review!
Tumblr media
Hi! I definitely would believe wolfdog on that pup. Looks like a lower content animal with pretty significant GSD background but likely a splash of northern breed as well. It sounds like the facility placing him is aware of his personality and requirements in a home and should do a great job finding him placement! I will say that a February birthday is outside of wolf whelping season, BUT wolfdogs who aren't high content can cycle or be fertile outside of late winter, so that's not really surprising to see in a lower content animal.

Mama Dogs Get to Me
The mama dogs are always the ones that get to me. They’ve been through so much and it’s clear not just in the condition of their bodies, but in their eyes. Grateful. That’s the word that emanates from them. And Cherry is no different. She’s had a particularly hard journey. Her owners surrendered her to the shelter and didn’t belong to them; she was just a stray who had been tied in their yard…

I'm going to need everyone to look at Ben, an "adoptable" yorkshire terrier. He's currently at Mile High Canine Rescue, and he is a terrible old man.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ben's story, in case you can't read the image above, is as follows:
"This is Ben! Ben is a 10-ish year old, Yorkie mix that weighs about 12 lbs. Ben is, ummm, well, he’s an a$$hole. Ben first joined MHCR a couple months ago as my foster and I was convinced I could fix him. He had been with another rescue and had moved between foster homes, trainers, and boarding. He had a laundry list of medical issues including a heart murmur, rotten teeth, cherry eye, to name a few. Surely after he’s feeling better with pearly whites he’ll love me, right? WRONG! Ok, maybe once he settles in after a few weeks he’ll come around, right? WRONG! The only time Ben is happy to see me is when I’m making him food or taking him for a walk or a ride. He LOVES walks and car rides. Lives for them. He adores my teenage kids and husband when they come home from school and work. He gets so excited to see them and he dances and twirls. It’s so dang cute you just want to bend right over and squish his adorable face. DON’T! You must resist the urge. Ben doesn’t want to be touched. He’ll allow you to leash him and for the first few weeks it’s advised that he drags one around hooked to his harness. Once every couple of days I can scratch him on the head, especially in the morning when he’s excited to go outside. I get ONE chance. If I flinch, he nails me. Ben is crate trained, but he must be covered while in his crate. He gets very angry if he’s being looked at while he’s in there. He asks to go outside. He walks great on a leash and would enjoy daily walks in his new home. Ben lives with a variety of dogs. He does fine with all of them but he really could do without the puppy. Ben is NOT a lap dog. He is not a source of companionship. Ben is for someone who wants to provide a nice life for a totally unadoptable dog. To go to the vet he needs a muzzle. To be groomed, he needs a muzzle. To be muzzled he needs bite gloves. Don’t adopt him thinking you will love this out of him. A series of humans in his past undoubtedly made him this way and now it’s just how he’s wired. Please do not apply if you have young children unless you don’t particularly like them. Ben is not an aggressive dog, per se. We’ve lived very peacefully together for the last couple of months as long as I keep my hands (and feet) to myself."

To be honest. DCxDP where the reason Danny meets the bats is Ace the Bat-hound
Like, just think about it for a second. Danny is in Gotham for college, or maybe he just moved out to find a city where having mad scientist parents isn’t actually that unusual.
He can see ghosts.
The ghosts know this.
Now he’s getting harassed left and right by spirits trying to get closure. Fine, whatever, most of them are a one-and-done type deal, and the amount of ghosts trying to get his help steadily decreases.
Except for this one very stubborn dog.
It just keeps showing up and leading him to crime scenes! He doesn’t know how many “anonymous tips” he can call in to the cops before they trace his phone! And this dog, this incredibly good boy, will not stop trying to help the city. He’s never met anyone with such a strong sense of justice, let alone a dog. Can dogs even have a moral compass?
And so Danny just accepts the fact that Ace isn’t going anywhere and becomes his reluctant sidekick/dedicated medium. He leans into the whole thing, dressing up in a mix of traditional magic-user attire and accessories that pay homage to the ghost dog.
He becomes somewhat well known. The psychopomp detective following around the shadowy figure of a German Shepard? That’s unusual! That’s weird! I mean, it’s not the weirdest thing in Gotham, sure, but he’s a new vigilante and he’s got a ghost dog that people can only see when it’s around him. Someone’s gonna notice.
Damian, as Robin, is the first to reach out to him.
Ace doesn’t know Damian but he does know a Robin, and while this isn’t his Robin, he’s still friendlier than usual. Danny’s panicking because oh god the bats are here and also is this kid gonna steal my ghost dog, Damian is absolutely delighted by Ace, and Ace is just happy to see a Robin again.
Damian decides that the psychopomp isn’t a danger to anyone, and there’s no reason to put this encounter into his reports, really, and perhaps Danny can help with some of his cases in the future.
Danny is sweating bullets because Damian basically tells him that he’ll keep him secret as long as he gets to play with Ace. Ace is happy that he’s finally getting some bat affiliated crime-fighting assistance.
And so, Danny is now both Ace AND Damian’s reluctant assistant. At least whenever he’s in trouble, he can always call a middle schooler to help him.
(Is Robin even in school? He’s out patrolling damn near every night, and he stays out late as hell. Does he have a bedtime? He should.)
Eventually it gets to the point where Damian is going over to Danny’s house. When he first sees it, he has a damn bitch you live like this moment, to which Danny responds that not everyone has the money to afford a nice place. Damian counters that he could at least take the time to clean up, and Danny replies that he’s working, going to school, and being a vigilante assistant to a ghost dog, something’s got to give.
Danny nearly has a heart attack when he checks his bank account the next day and sees that someone transferred him 10,000 dollars.
And so they get into a routine. Danny and Damian fight crime with Ace at night, and occasionally Damian stops by during the day to play with Ace and have Danny help with his homework.
(Damian is smart enough to do it on his own, but some of the instructions are written incredibly confusingly, and he would never admit to needing help to his family. Danny is just glad that the kid is in school and cares about his education, blissfully unaware that he’s basically emotionally adopted him.)
Damian is used to being in Danny’s company.
Eventually, when going over a case with the family, Damian absentmindedly remarks that he’ll have to ask Danny about some of the clues that they might be missing. Nightwing asks who he means and Damian makes a face like he just swallowed a lemon.
Cue shitstorm.
Who is “Danny?” Why is Damian willing to ask for help from anyone, much less someone outside of the family? Does he know who Damian is? Has Damian been compromised? What the hell is going on?
Damian now has to explain that Danny is the psychopomp with the ghost dog who he might have met hunted down while on patrol and conveniently not mentioned, but he’s not a bad person, really, and he lets him play with Ace, and he’s been quite helpful on certain cases due to his ability to talk to ghosts.
Bruce insists that the family meet Danny. Damian, hoping that he won’t just skip town the second he hears the news, relents.
Danny is surprisingly eager to meet the bats, considering his earlier fears.
Damian, blissfully unaware of what’s coming, sets a time and place to meet.
Once everyone is there, he gives Bruce the earful of a lifetime.
Robin is in middle school! Danny knows that there’s no way to stop the boy from going on patrol, but you could at least shift his schedule so he gets enough sleep on school nights! Does the Bat even know where he is half the time?! (No) And why isn’t he comfortable asking his family for help with both cases and homework? Did they ever even notice how much time he was spending at Danny’s house? If Danny was a bad person, he could have seriously hurt the poor boy! Shame on you!
Nightwing is mortified that Damian didn’t trust him enough to tell him about any of this. Red Hood is laughing his ass off, because yeah Danny is making good points but he’s also chewing out the literal Batman. Tim is recording the whole thing. Steph is delighted by the absolute gall of this Danger Twink™️, and already planning to add him to several groupchats. Damian is more embarrassed than he’s ever been in his entire life.
You, he points to Nightwing, did your academic life feel supported when you were a Robin? Nightwing is too stunned to speak. Red Hood, eternal shit-stirrer, says that oh, we all prioritized patrol over our education, that’s just how it is. Red Robin actually dropped out of high school to avoid distractions, did you know that?
Danny honest-to-god shrieks at this.
He finishes his angry rant and leaves, everyone too stunned to stop him.
And as it turns out, Tim wasn’t the only person recording the whole thing.
The entire internet is blowing up with Psychopomp The Danger Twink™️’s rant. People are taking sides. Things are getting messy. Red Hood literally admitting on-camera to previously being a Robin is somehow not the main focus here.
Eventually someone connects some dots from the video, as well as stories circling the internet about the psychopomp. A ghost dog named Ace, who is the literal only reason that the psychopomp is fighting crime at all, which seems incredibly fond of Nightwing and Robin.
A crime-fighting dog who wants constant attention from both the current and original Robin.
Oh my god, Ace the Bat-hound died and became a crime-fighting ghost.
And, somehow, that’s still not the strangest thing going on in Gotham.

I just started following you for your Viceroy AU! My question is, why is Adrien disillusioned with his mom? Dad I can understand, but what happened with his mom?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
no big arguments or anything, but Adrien got to go through the slow, dreadful realization that your kinder parent thinks you're uselessly dependent on them. (and she likes it that way.)

In Baltimore County, MD: BCAS Adoptable Dog: Bina 🐶 Hi! My name is Bina, and I am a one year old pit bull/mixed breed girl looking for my forever home. I’m petite, and at just 38 pounds I will make the perfect dog for a smaller household. 🚶🏿‍♂️I love to be active and want an owner who enjoys walks and hikes. Zoomies in the yards outside are my thing as well as sitting for biscuits. 🍪 I adore treats and am a smart girl so I would love someone to teach me more commands besides sit. I’m excited to meet new folks and very affectionate. 💜 🥰 I have no restrictions on cats or children. I would request a meet and greet with any dogs in your home to be sure we are a good match. I’ve been at the shelter since November 19th and I’m getting anxious to find my forever family. 🐾 The volunteers at the shelter tell me I’m very sweet and that my family is waiting for me. Are you them? 🤞 Come meet me at Baltimore County Animal Services located at 13800 Manor Rd. Baldwin, MD 21013. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Sunday 12-5pm. Fees are waived right now for the holidays. 💙 If adoption isn’t in the cards right now but you can give me a break from the shelter for the holidays, please email [email protected] to get the ball rolling. Sometimes.
Just sometimes.
Bruce, tired father of too many children, wished for a small break.
Just a tiny one.
He pinched his nose, cowl covering his head and expression and glared.
"I can't believe you snitched on me!" Billy batson, freshly revealed teen and sitting on his usual spot during meetings, hisses.
"If I have to get parented, so do you!" Danny fenton, also freshly revealed teenager, glared right back.
"Boys." Both their attention snapped to wonder woman, still tense and warry.
"Do you two have adult supervision, at least." Batman asks, feeling slightly more drained than before, he can feel Nightwing's stare at the back of his head, coming closer.
"Do the voices count?" Danny asks, to which Billy nodded. "Yeah, do they? Zeus has strong opinions, and many kids. He probably can parent, somewhat."
They shrugged both, like they hadn't just opened another whole can of questions.
"Wait!" Danny snapped his fingers, "what about clocky? He sends us on time missions, has his own lair, and lets us hang around. That counts? Right?"
The other teen nods in agreement.
(Knowing both are black haired and blue-eyed teens, he already knows Dick will never let him live this down. Deceived by children, for YEARS.)
(So much for being the greatest detective.)
(The text he sent to Alfred is between him and his butler dad.)
"Or—"
In the end, the two agreed reluctantly to stay around for a while. The Kents, the Allens, Diana, and the Waynes have opened up their homes to house them permanently.
Much their amusement, they declared, that to make no one jealous, they'd switch homes every other week or so.
That alone smelled like chaos.
Whatever, it was Diana's first week.
(And if the house of mysteries appeared in front of them sometimes, that's also between them and a very suffering John constantine.)
