Yandere farm x farmhand reader 🌾
Tumblr media
A/n: this contains few nsfw mentions, mdni please! They're not all that yandere, just a bunch of dumb silly hybrids trying to catch their favorite humans attention. This is their intro
✩̣̣̣̣̣ͯ┄•͙✧⃝•͙┄✩ͯ•͙͙✧⃝•͙͙✩̣̣̣̣̣ͯ┄•͙✧⃝•͙┄✩ͯ•͙͙✧⃝•͙͙✩ͯ•͙͙✧⃝•͙͙✩̣̣̣̣̣ͯ┄•͙
★yandere farm x farmhand reader. I know this isn't original, but I always love the concept. Just minding your business, sweaty and hot from the sun, when suddenly a certain German Shepard hybrid starts sniffing you up and down, lapping up your sweaty skin and grinning when you swat him away. How did you end up here?
★maybe you came here for a summer job, maybe some relatives owned the farm, maybe you were always working here. Either way, it doesn't take long for the hybrids to notice you once you arrive.
★the bulls and cows watching curiously from the fields, the centaurs trying to peek from their stables, the merfolk living in the lake just down the property poke their little heads out. The dogs barking from their Little homes, and the cats watching from the windows. You couldn't help but gawk at the variety of hybrids, there were so many! Merfolk, avians, cattle, cats, dogs.
★your first week there was nice, the other farmhands were nice, and the owners were so sweet! Always speaking fondly of their pets, the old couple would watch them run in the field or play by the lake. You yourself found them a little annoying. Always sniffing, grabbing, nipping at your clothes. You've had to fight your overall bottoms free from one of the pooches one too many times. The cats were no better.
★your second week you meet the cattle and centaurs. And unlike the house cats and guard dogs, they're less handsy. Simply observing from afar. Occasionally sniffing you before nodding their heads and pulling away. Letting you do your job of combing, cleaning and fixing up them and their stables. The cattle would happily let you milk them, applying the breast pumps to the females and a cock pump to the males. You ignored how they looked at you strangely during milkings
★the third week you meet the avians. Odd little bunch, hopping around and puffing up their chests. They watched you enter their enclosure curiously, you were busy picking up their molten feathers because you thought they were pretty. So bright and colorful! Walking around bent over a little when you finally notice the peacock male standing right Infront of you. He gave you a pointed look before his tail feathers expanded. Looking prideful, tilting his chin up as if in an arrogant way. Swaying side to side and closer to you, while you just held the feathers in your hands, a little confused. He got closer until he let out an incredibly loud squawk. Turning around abruptly to glare at the cuckoo who bent down to poke his butt. The cuckoo gave you a grin before climbing back up the tree, using this time as distraction, you quickly escaped.
★on the fourth week, you meet the merfolk. Having been here a month, they were eager to meet you. Watching you walk on the dock with fish feed, eagerly Perking up and swimming closer. You shook out a good handful and chucked it out for the koi fish to eat. They swarmed the area until all the food was gone, simply staring up at you. One poked her head out, tilting it a bit and making a 'click' sound with her tongue. You mimicked her, doing the same. She seemed elated, making various whistles and clicks, splashing up and down the lake. The lake was manmade and filled with koi fish when it was finished, but then again there may be more fish not even the owners know about since it was so deep. How'd they get in there? You're not sure, but you just know it.
★on the fifth week your owners told you about how they had bought multiple sheep, and goats. One male for each group. Watching the loading truck approach the little barn they were finished building. So that's why it was there, they started construction when you arrived the first week. You helped the other farmhands get them situated, at first they were rowdy and a little aggressive but for some reason calmed down when you approached them. Your colleagues now called you the sheep whisperer. You quickly learned how to shave their wool and milk the goats properly. Sometimes braiding their long hair, you just wish the ram would stop headbutting the nearest male colleague for your attention.
★On your sixth week, you went for a walk in the forest when suddenly a little body of fluffy fur tackled you, growling with it's teeth barred. You looked up to see a Pomeranian hybrid, trying it's best to look intimidating. Their fluffy tail gave them away, it was wagging 100mph. They visibly deflated when you reached up a hand to pet them, letting you for A couple minutes before getting off. Walking back into the woods towards three wolves. Dissapearing with them. Not soon after you found a friendly garden naga. Just lounging on a rock and enjoying the sun. You asked to join and they let you, laying there for a good while until you had to go back to the farm. Noticing they had wrapped their tail around you, oh boy. It'll take a good while to get out. Welp, might as well make yourself comfortable and wait for the dogs to come find you

*sigh* oh the tragic romance of a merfolk x human story. Neither can be with the other without giving up something important. Usually fins for legs. Also usually their entire family to simply love and exist with this person in a different biosphere. Rarely legs for fins if we wanna go a reverse little mermaid here.
But what if it was different. And no one had to give everything up. And maybe yandere. With a bit of soulmate shenanigans thrown in for flavor.
Imagine if you will, a walk on an empty beach. Headphones in, listening to your favorite song and sining along. Kicking up sand and the smell of the ocean air. Just minding your own business and having a good time by yourself.
Or so you think. Because not far from where you are walking a single quiet audience member hides behind some rocks, wondering why your song, your human song, sounds so similar to their soul song.
The song that they would normally perform for other merfolk in hopes of attracting their perfect life partner. But they had never garnered any attention for it.
So how did you, a weak and squishy human get them so immediately. No creature had ever been so close to repeating his own soul song back to him. And with your own little twist too. Human words and slightly different notes in his soul song. Your song. Our song. He soon found himself refering to it in his mind.
It takes a while of them impatiently waiting for your return and slowly learning your 'walks on the beach' schedule for them to finally make their move.
On the day that changed the rest of your life, you were simply walking along and humming softly to your favorite song once again when you heard the most fantastic voice start to follow along the melody with you. They matched your tone and moved their voice in such a way that it felt like an instant musical connection.
They were worried that you would stop and run away when they started but tried not to let that fear taint their song. If you ran further inland they would have a very hard time following you. Not impossible but certainly difficult. So they took your continued humming as a good sign and continued.
They began to dribble their emotions into the notes. The lonelyness. The fear of an uncaring ocean. The rush of affection they felt when they first heard you singing. The need to see you. Hold you.
Slowly, what started out as a dribble became a riptide of intense emotions they never knew they were capable of feeling. Longing. Jealousy. Want and need so powerful he felt like he would wear out his voice singing it all. By the time he stopped he was mortified that he put all of that on you. And before the first courting gift too! He suddenly felt awful. He gutted his soul when he never ment to and you weren't even singing anymore. What if you didn't want them? What if it was all too much for you? What if you left and never came back!?
You were stunned. Breathless. The emotion. The raw intensity. No words were ever sang and yet the song resonated in the very depths of your being. You felt intimidated to ever even think of humming ever again after that impromptu masterpiece. You wanted to respond but couldn't find the words to, much less the notes like they had. So you instead made your way to the shore where the music seemed to come from and searched. Looking for this person who simultaneously swept you off your feet and explained their life story in one song with no words.
Two star crossed lovers. Separated by the sea. One filled with obsession. The other with curiousity. Both wish desperately to meet and yet both are not quite ready. How strange that love can both bind and seperate. How strange indeed.
Idk where to go with this so no continuations for this one unless I suddenly get inspired. Also the end feels really jarring to me. Mostly because I originally intended for this to continue but I couldn't come up with anything so I just cut it lose. I hope you like it none the less.

My brain keeps going to Octopus Merfolk acting similar to my Bullman OC Andy looking for a mate be they human or another mer-creature
And seeing everyone else as a threat to their mate and more than willing to murder if given the green light

I’ve never heard of your OCs!!! If you’re feeling it, can you tell me ab them? Like, what’s their type, what kind of yandere are they, etc. I tried to search em but nothing came up so I guess they’re from the old blog lol
-Jojo
They are from the old blog, that is right! I've still got to update my tag post I've been using for searches on there-- but I'll post that and it should make it easier to read up on them! I'll reblog some stuff too!
I have two OC's and a third bastard child I never developed past like a couple of concept posts, and their names are Cyril and Dalton!
I thought it would be funny to name the idiot character "Dalton" Because of the insult 'dolt' -> 'dolt one' -> 'Dalton'.
And Cyril is named as such: 'see, here's eel' -> 'see, e're eel' -> 'Cyril'
Dalton came first, and he is a jellyfish merman based off the pink meanie jellyfish found of the gulf of Mexico. He has translucent pink skin that can change colours depending on what he has eaten, long messy hair, human hands, and a massive skirtlike membrane at his waist that acts as the natural fleshy cover for his thousands of thin tendrils-- each loaded with extremely painful toxin.
The venom is fast acting and makes your skin slough off from chemical burn damage, and if you don't treat the stings, you could potentially die from blood loss (not the venom itself). Dalton is dumb as a sack of bricks (inspired by the fact that jellyfish don't have brains), obsessive, delusional, and sadly for you: extremely affectionate, with a touchy disposition. He'll cling to you every chance he gets.
Dalton is so stupid that he cannot feel pain-- for most merfolk, walking on land is agonizing. Dalton can't fathom this, and just continues to beach himself until he can crawl, his fragile membrane and tendrils drying out and ripping, spilling vital goop as they shift into legs. Each step would be extremely painful, but Dalton can't understand what he's feeling, or what's causing it. And because he doesn't know walking is what's causing it, he'll continue to walk, searching for his "best friends" who must have gotten lost. Dalton believes that Cyril, and you, are his best friends. And you must have gotten lost on your way to find him again. So he'll go out and find you, and everything will work out in the end.
Cyril is a smarter, yet sadistic merfolk, based off of the electric eel found in South America's Amazon River and Oronocio basin. Cyril, unlike Dalton, is a freshwater merfolk, and is capable of being drowned in the brackish water Dalton prefers. And unlike Dalton, Cyril can comprehend the pain in drowning. As well as the pain in being stung by venomous tendrils, and walking. Cyril has chronic pain (as most merfolk do). If he can avoid walking, he will.
He has long, greasy black hair-- washing it does him no good, as getting wet just turns his body back into his natural form, which causes him to secrete slick mucus. His skin is opaque, unlike a jellymer. If he doesn't show you his true form, you might just assume he's a lazy but bougie guy, adorned in gold jewelry he's stolen from other's homes before having to flee the scene. Despite his inactivity, Cyrils' body is on the leaner side due to his high metabolism. He has no visible muscle, but who really needs that when you're an ambush predator that can stun others anyways?
Cyril has worked many odd jobs that helped him live a more lavish life than just hunting and eating whatever got close enough to the river bank. He's acquired a taste for grapes, sliced and microwaved. Any hot fruit would do, but grapes are his favourite. This has become an integral part of his lore, because once Cyril learns of fruit, and then heating the fruit up, and all the devices you can use to heat food up (not just fruit, though he thinks its the height of luxury), and where those devices are stored... It's how Cyril ends up breaking into his darling's home in the first place. They have shelter, water, and all sorts of devices with which to make hot meals. And he needs for this to be perfect is someone who he can force to fetch him things from other rooms once he finds the couch.
He probably doesn't even like you at first. You're just someone he's bluffing out of his ass to let stay here. Cyril will use whatever tactics needed to make you let him stay. He'll go the pity route-- he's a poor misunderstood man, kicked out of housing, turned down everywhere because people don't agree with his life choices... He just wanted to crash here for the night, he didn't know you were here, he thought you were on vacation and he could squat here.
If that doesn't work, he'll resort to threats. He doesn't want to hurt you, he wants to mind his own business here, but if you call for help or tell anyone he's here against your will, he will kill them and you, before eating you. As much as it pains him to walk, he'll trudge over to your bathroom with you in tow, to show you his transformation in your shower/tub. He's a dangerous monster, and you don't know what he can do! His long tail wraps around you, slime secreted from his skin soaking through your clothes, constricting your ribs as he slowly crushes you, before you get hit with a painful shock-- knocking you to the ground and convulsing with painful spasms. Life for you will be easier if you just do what he says. It's not like he's asking for much anyways.
And at first, he's not. He's just asking you to fetch him some food every now and again, or to refill the cup he's been using for water. To buy him a laptop so he can work from home-- this way he'll pay for his own food, and you're not against that are you? Unless you like him mooching off your budget.
Cyril slowly gets more possessive as time goes on. It's not that he likes you; he likes your things, and he likes making you serve him, and he likes hurting you when you do something wrong. That's completely different than liking you. And you were three hours late coming home the other day. Cyril had to get himself a glass of water. Scandalous.
And while he thinks of it, he's not really a good threat if you start thinking you can stay out of the house, and avoid him. How is he supposed to hurt you if you're not around?
He should add a new rule: You have to start staying home with him more, and you have to be in the same room. And if you don't... Then he's going to start breaking your things, changing your password on everything, texting everyone your compromising photos and destroying relationships...
And if you refuse to come home... Then he's just going to have to get up and go hunt you down. You may have forgotten he can actually walk from how little he does it, but if need be he can track you down to the ends of the earth. Eel merfolk have a heightened sense of smell, so Cyril can track you down.
Dalton may stumble upon either you or Cyril one day-- a terrible mix of fate, because the idiot has just been wandering following Cyril, and you know Cyril, which means you're going to all be best friends.
Dalton doesn't mind you doing your own thing, he just wants to watch. He follows you everywhere, forcing himself through doors that you'd closed until they bust down so he can watch whatever you're doing, holding your hand, a grip on your legs, or resting his chin on your shoulder. If you leave the house before he can know where you are, there's a chance he'll go out to look for you-- you must have gotten lost again!
But if he has faith you'll come back, then Dalton will spend his days exploring your home. What happens when he sticks his hand or face in your oven? In the freezer? Through the window? What if he puts your sheets in his mouth? What does your soap smell like? Taste like? Dalton wants to know. And he'll find out everything about you.
Including you. Dalton is clingy, but he's exceptionally touchy. It's not enough to have you next to him, he needs to constantly touch you. Holding your hand is a large part of his day. But his fingers will find their way to your gums to inspect your blunt teeth and bumps on your tongue. Your eyebrows. Dalton opens your eyes with his fingers as he stares at how your pupils shrink and grow in response to light or the air he blows onto them. Bending your fingers and legs as far back as they can. He doesn't mean to hurt you, Dalton is just curious.
Dalton and Cyril can maintain human forms if they stay dry, but if they get significantly wet, their body shifts back into their true forms. A full shower will have Cyril a writhing mass of a slimy tail. And getting caught in a thunderstorm will have Dalton crawling around, ripping his fragile bell membrane, ripping out his tendrils. And while Cyril can intentionally use his ability to shock you regardless of if he's in his true form or not, Dalton's tendrils are only a danger to you if he's soaked and in his true form... Something he rarely thinks to do. All he cares about is following his favourite people around and being close to them. But if Dalton ever gets in a body of water and you're in arms reach, he will drag you into the water, wrapping his tendrils around you, the pain making you pass out in the bloody water...
When you wake up, perched on top of his bell membrane, Dalton apologizes-- he didn't mean to hurt you! He just wanted to swim with you! He doesn't even know how you got hurt! Maybe you just need to be held tighter? A cracked rib is a small price to pay if it keeps you awake, and in his mind, happy.
As far as merfolk go, they're both disasters. As far as yandere's go, they're completely useless. You'd be better off with literal leeches than these two bleeding you dry.

Fighting the urge to not write a quiet hybrid guy and I failed
description: yandere octopus hybrid x gn merperson reader, getting trapped in his trap, him tasting you, umm idk what else, also normally I stick to facts about the animals I write as hybrids but I changed some stuff about him like his tongue being soft bc would it be hot if a sandpaper tongue was licking u? LMAOO
Tumblr media
Kioshi was a sea creature, an octopus and you’re just a random merperson who happened to run into his sticky trap that was intended for prey. So he’s just scanning you at every angle available to him, swiftly swimming around to see if you were going to be a problem to deal with.
He never really interacted with any merfolk before so your silent empty stare confused him enough to mentally ask himself questions. Was he supposed to let you out? Could he eat you? Were you tasty?
The curious octopus wrapped his arms around you, the suckers on his tentacles staying in one place with the grip they had on your body. Was he tasting you?? What was this weird octopus guy doing!!
“Hello?? What are you doing” You glared at his tentacles that sneaked their way through his own kelp trap to touch and stick on you. It was almost like he was trying to sample you, to see if you could be his dinner tonight.
He quietly hummed, pondering if you were even edible. You tasted.. fishy. It would be ironic for merfolk not to have a salty taste to them. What did he expect after all? The two of you were in the ocean for crying out loud!
“You taste weird, can you even fit in my mouth” Kioshi opened his mouth, his fangs and 2 rows of teeth showing brightly. The vibrant pink tongue that slipped out his mouth looked long and soft. He apparently had no shame in showing his interest to eat you.
“I’m a merperson! And no you can’t eat me! I wouldn’t go up to you and ask if I could eat you” The hiss that left your lips and confidence had him more intrigued than before.
He disassembled his kelp trap with a tug of one of the kelp that wrapped around a nearby giant rock. Once you were let free you stretched, liking how much freedom you had now. It almost pissed you off remembering that you were in there for the entirety of this conversation.
“I’ll give you some shiny pearls if you keep letting me taste you” Kioshi dug in a pouch he carried around his waist, scooping out a few beautiful pink pearls that made your eyes shimmer with adoration. You were always a sucker for pretty things, every merperson was!
“Fine” You mumbled, sitting on a rock, your soft hands holding onto it as a handle while he wrapped his tentacles around you. He wasn’t sure why he was so interested in you, yeah he doesn’t see merfolk often but you peaked his interest for another reason. One that he was clueless about as well.
But he doesn’t try to fret over it, when he likes something, he takes it for himself. And you were pretty, really pretty. Your scales provided a glistening view, the sun helping accentuate the natural shine they had. Each scale was shiny and bright, he loved shiny things. Maybe you were meant to be his little treasure to take home!
You obediently sat while he seemed lost in thought, wrapping his sneaky tentacles around you, every sucker providing a squishy suction on your skin, almost felt like kisses running along your torso and arms. You could even feel his breath on your neck while he seemed to taste you there with his mouth. You pondered whether he would leave marks or not.
“You taste nice” Kioshi murmured, causing marks around your waist and chest.
“Well there’s that answer” You mentally said to yourself, looking down at the almost identical looking hickey marks on your body after his tentacles slipped away. He must’ve been too focused on tasting you to be gentle.
“Sorry..” He whispered, putting his tongue against your stomach’s skin to lick at the marks. You jumped at the feeling with a flustered expression, his hands rested around your hips while he continued.
“I think they’ll fade on their own.. You don’t have to lick them!” You bit your lip, trying to hold in the whimper you were about to let out from the strange sensation of his tongue running along your stomach.
“Oh.. okay. I’ll pay attention more next time” He blinked with no embarrassment that he shamelessly licked and tasted your skin. He sat next to you, leaning against your side, watching fish run around and play.
Next time? There was going to be a next time? You thought to yourself, wondering why he was so confident yet so nonchalant with his words that it just seemed natural to slip from his lips.
Kioshi pondered, trying to think of something else to say. He didn’t want to end the conversation here, he liked this interaction, even if it was just a trade between the two of you. Your flustered reactions and looks made him smile when you weren’t looking. He liked you already.
“So, I’ve never seen you here. Are you just passing through this area?” He faced you, observing your deep colored eyes compared to the bright waters around the two of you.
“Nah, I live around here, I just don’t usually wander off too far from my cave” You explained as you stared at his veiny hands that pressed down against the smooth rock. He seemed interested enough in your words to lean closer, his eyes scanning yours and especially at your lips.
“Huh, that’s cool” He softly said, wanting to say more but unsure of what. Should he ask if he could visit you sometime? Maybe offer to show you his cave? He wanted to ask something but his mind couldn’t set on a thought, causing you to speak after a few moments.
“So, what about you? Where do you live?” You yawned, making sure you weren’t out too late by looking at the sun that was close to set. It would be bad if you were out when the moon was down. You never got used to all the creatures that would appear in the dark waves that strolled by. It gave you goosebumps just thinking of the strange faces.
“Right over there, I don’t set my trap up too far incase it’s something big” Kioshi let out a small giggle, the fact you were in his trap today and definitely bigger than the average fish he expected made it more funny.
“Must’ve lucked out today then huh?” You playfully rolled your eyes at him laughing at his words.
“Mhm” He grinned, adding in a nod as well while he spoke. “How about I treat you to some food since I captured you?” He casually offered, as if he wasn’t trying to rack his brain about how to word it before. He wasn’t that good with speaking with others, never really interacted with other creatures in the first place, until now!
“Sure, you totally owe me after-all” You smiled, hopping off the rock to swim in-front of him. He got off the almost cliff looking rock as well and started leading you to his place. Not that far, just like he said. When the two of you closed the distance between his home you observed how nicely decorated it was. Lots of shiny things in a wooden chest he had, a soft looking bed and cute trinkets placed along the walls. It was big so the fact that he filled it up nicely was impressing.
“How about some crab?” He said, poking at the live crabs he had in another slightly different trap, the knots and twists being almost identical to the one you were in. He seemed to use traps to catch all his food instead of chasing it himself.
“Sure! How are you gonna cook it?” You asked curious, swimming around him in circles to see what he was doing. You were able to witness him grabbing the trap brimming with crabs and bringing them up to the end of the cave, there you were able to see that the roof went further up. He seemed to almost disappear after climbing up onto something.
You popped your head up the water to see this was his kitchen area, it had pots and pans hanging on hooks and a small dinner table with a few seats. His place was bigger than you imagined, it had an area with no water that connected to the ocean after-all.
“Gonna boil them?” You looked curiously at him grabbing a pot and sliding over back to the large opening in the floor to the rest of his home, collecting ocean water in it. “Yup” Kioshi softly said, putting the pot down on a metal grill. He seemed to have lots of kitchen supplies, it made your curious to whether he stole it from humans.
You had your own little collection stolen from humans but definitely not a entire room’s worth, not yet anyways. You were curious enough to want to ask Kioshi more questions about him, but decided not to.
The boiled crabs poured into a glass bowl in-front of you made you drool almost instinctively, as if you’ve always known his cooking. You stared at the bowl first, noticing that it was expensive looking and had cracks, he must’ve glued it back together.
He sat down in front of you, pondering on why you were staring at the bowl instead of the cooked crabs you could be eating, was it not appetizing? Should he cook something else? He twiddled his thumbs against each other while trying to think of whether he should speak up.
Kioshi opened his mouth to speak but you paused the words from leaving his mouth with a happy hum. “It’s so good!!!” You muffled with crab meat in your mouth, once you managed to chew and swallow a few more pieces.
“Thanks Kioshi! You’re so good at cooking” You cleared your throat, looking up at him with another opened crab leg.
“No problem” He mumbled, feeling his face heat up. He wasn’t sure why he had the sudden urge to keep you in his cave forever, for you to become his mate and be devoted to him as he would with you. Maybe it was because he didn’t have one yet, or possibly because you were perfect for him.
He’d find a way to keep you here, whether that would be pearls, his cooking, or anything he could possibly steal from humans, he’d do it.

(Don't) Face Your Fears
Yandere Merfolk Straw Hats x GN!Reader
1.8k words
Part 2
Tumblr media
Deep breathes, you remind yourself. Deep breathes.
It was taking everything you had not to turn tail and run, but you stood your ground. You need to face this. You won’t be able to grow if you don’t. Waves crashed onto the shore ahead of you, the noise not allowing you to forget for a second where you were. The salty and fishy scent in the air was also a strong reminder.
You’re not even sure where this fear came from. You can’t recall some traumatic memory revolving around the ocean, you just hated it. The mystery of what hellish creatures lurked beneath the surface, the mere idea of being lost at sea, drowning, it all terrified you.
All your life you’ve done your best to avoid the ocean despite living so close to it, but now you are trying to face it. You didn’t want to spend the rest of your life trapped by your own fears. What if you want to leave this island one day but can’t bring yourself to do so because you’re too scared to get on the boat?
You’ve made some progress, a lot really. Being able to stand on the beach like this was something you couldn’t have done a month ago. Tonight, though, you were going to take this a step forward. You hated doing this at night, but you were too embarrassed about your fear to risk people seeing you potentially freaking out over some water.
Your bare feet dug into the sand as you tried to will yourself to relax and step towards the water. It’s fine. Everything is going to be fine. You’re just going to wade ankle deep in the water and then call it a night. That’s it.
Ignoring the pounding of your heart and the sweat starting to form, you take the necessary steps, bringing yourself onto the wet part of the sand. You cringed at the sensation, not enjoying it even a little bit.
You stood there and waited for the tide to come back in, forcing yourself to stand still. Finally, dreadfully, a wave comes in and laps at your feet. Your first gut response involves dry heaving and wanting to run away, but you endure. It’s barely touched you, you need to tough it out.
Despite every nerve of your body violently disagreeing with this idea of yours, you take another step forward. More water rushes over your feet. It’s cold, but not freezing. It almost feels nice in contrast to the humid summer air.
Now, you decide to wait here and adjust, forcing your breathing to even out again. As the minutes tick by, you find yourself not minding it as much as you initially did. If you closed your eyes, you could almost pretend you were simply soaking your feet in the river by your home. Maybe you’ll be able to enjoy this? Maybe.
Shockingly, you found yourself walking through the water. Not deeper into it, simply staying at the same depth and wading along the shore. The silence was peaceful, and you found that your previously thundering heartbeat was slowing to a more normal rate. Against all odds and expectations, you couldn’t help but smile slightly. This was incredible progress for you, and you were proud of yourself.
The atmosphere changes as you hear something in the distance. Splashing, and a lot of it. It sounded too loud to just be a fish. Was it a person? Was someone drowning? You ran towards the source of the noise. As you got closer, you could hear yelling over all the splashing, too. It sounded like several people. What the hell was happening?
“Hello? Is everyone alright?” You called out, trying to get a feel for what was going on before you got there.
The splashes stopped, but you did get a response, “Hello? Who’s there?” The voice sounded feminine and distressed. Scared even.
You were getting close enough to be able to start to make out the people. There were a lot of them, at least five, but they were moving around too much to be able to count clearly. All of them were caught in a net.
“I’m (y/n). I was going for a walk when I heard you guys, and I wanted to see if you needed help,” which they most certainly did. How did that many people manage to get caught in a fishing net like this?
“We do! Can you cut this net open?” A different voice piped up, this one sounding like a young boy.
You could do that, there was a knife strapped to your belt that you kept there both for functionality and self defense. There was a problem though. They were deeper into the water than you were. If you went out to them, you would be waist deep. Much farther than you were prepared to go so soon.
Your hesitance didn’t go unnoticed. “Please! We need to get out of this! Some of my friends are hurt and we can’t treat them while we’re all stuck like this!” The same voice from before desperately pleaded.
Nausea rumbled deep in your stomach, but not just from the ocean this time. You couldn’t just leave a bunch of people to die because you were scared of a little water. Okay, a lot of water, but you won’t even have to swim. It’s going to be okay. You can do this. You will do this.
Forcing yourself to take deep breaths, you march forward. Miraculously, the rising water doesn’t crumble your resolve. You don’t look down at the water, purposefully focusing on the net ahead of you. You need to get them freed, and you need to do it now before you can have a chance to chicken out.
Unbuckling the holster for your knife, you unsheath it and get to work trying to cut through the thick rope of the fishing net. There was a lot of resistance, but you didn’t give up. The segment you were sawing your knife through snapped and you immediately moved on to the next one, vying to get a big enough opening for them to squeeze through.
There were loud cheers from a few of them as the net came undone enough for them to get out. They wasted no time and all headed for the opening to slip through. You held it open for them, wanting them to get out as quickly as possible.
The first one escapes, and that’s when you feel it. Something large and slimy brushes against your exposed legs. What? That was just a big fish, right? Maybe even an errant piece of seaweed. As the rest of the group filed out, you felt the same sensation on your legs each time.
These… These people were human… Right?
Chills were running down your spine as you questioned what exactly you were dealing with here. Before you could back away or ask questions, one of them approached you. He didn’t just come up to you, no. He full on threw himself out of the water and wrapped his arms around your torso.
“Thank you for saving us! We don’t get a lot of help from humans most of the time, so I’m really happy that one as nice as you came to our rescue!” This was the same boy that had spoken to you moments before to beg for help. He smiled widely at you, and the moonlight reflecting off the water was enough for you to be able to make out his too sharp teeth. As well as the fins on the sides of his head where ears should be.
Oh my God. Merfolk. This is a merman and you’re surrounded by more of them. Every rumor you’ve heard about them comes to mind instantly in one big violent pang. That they love nothing more than to drag any poor unsuspecting human they come across out into the ocean to drown them. That they would eat you after you died. That they could curse humans into becoming like them.
No. No no no nO NO NO!
With a scream, you shove the merman off of you and make a break for the shore. You get there faster than you thought humanly possible and kept running, not looking back. Fuck this. Fuck them. Fuck the ocean. Fuck everything you’re never going near the ocean ever again for as long as you live!
The merfolk could only sit in the shallow water and stare at your rapidly retreating and screaming form.
“I suppose they didn’t know we were merfolk when they helped us,” Robin mused.
“I like them,” Luffy was positively beaming despite being thrown off you seconds before. He’d crawled closer to the shore to watch you leave, his tail loudly splashing in the water behind him.
“Of course you do, you like everyone that looks at you twice,” Zoro scoffed, waving a webbed hand dismissively. He winced when the action strained one of his injuries, causing Chopper to snap at him to hold still.
“No, I really like them! I want to see them again! I bet that if we talk for a bit, they’ll come around,” Luffy nodded resolutely, already imagining what he’s going to say next time he sees you.
“How are you going to do that? I doubt that they’re going to go anywhere near the ocean for a long time,” Nami pointed out.
This gave Luffy pause, but only for a brief moment. His eyes lit up as an idea struck him, “There’s a river that goes through this island, right? I can use that to try and see them again. Maybe we’ll get lucky and they live along it!”
“At least let one of us come with you, you have no tact throwing yourself at them like you did,” Sanji could tell that this would take a certain level of finesse that their captain absolutely did not have. No doubt he would up and drag you into the water with him if you were close enough to do so.
“You’re only saying that because you want to see them again, too,” Zoro splashed water in Sanji’s direction, extinguishing the cigarette he finally had a chance to enjoy. Naturally, this caused a fight between the two to break out, with Sanji slapping Zoro with his tail while Chopper was yelling at both of them to cut it out.
Luffy didn’t pay them any mind. While your form may have vanished from sight, he could still follow your scent. Even if you weren’t right next to the riverbed, he wasn’t opposed to dragging himself across land to get to you. Now that he had your scent, there’s nowhere on this small island you could hide to stay away from him.

This is a snippet of a one-shot I'm working on, featuring merman Gyutaro lusting after a human! The whole thing will be posted on my Ao3 in a few days :)
Tumblr media
Poor little human, all alone in the sea. It must be scary, floating adrift with no one to help you.
Lucky for you, you aren’t alone, nor are you without help. Since your sailboat floated into his territory, Gyutaro has gone out of his way to protect you, even against his sister.
“Why are you so interested in her?” Daki huffed as Gyutaro watched you mill about the deck. It’d how he’d begun to spend most of his days, watching you go about yours until you disappeared below the deck as the sunset. “She’s just a human.”
A pretty human, with decent survival skills and a body that’d be perfect to carry his pups.
He grunted but didn’t answer, resulting in his sister going on a spiel about how ‘plain’ and ‘weak’ you were. He ignored her.
He’d been working up the nerve to show himself to you, to initiate the courting process. Among his kind, mermaids, as you would call them, he was among the strongest but not the strongest. He wasn’t at the very top of the food chain, and his unsightly appearance made other potential mates recoil.
As he grew older, the need to breed grew stronger. He occasionally consorted with the others, but his sister was the only permanent member of his shiver.
Perhaps that was why he was so fascinated with you; he could sense that you’d be the perfect mate. Mating with humans, though frowned upon, wasn’t unheard of. There were even some instances of humans transforming into mermaids, which would solve the difference in ability and lifespan.
Benefits of being a ‘mythical’ creature, he supposed.
“Are you ever going to talk to her?” Daki sneered, her voice growing most hostile as Gyutaro continued to ignore her.
“Yes,” he quickly answered, anticipating finally getting to hear your voice up close.
He’s heard you singing and muttering to yourself, and the snippets of your voice that he’s gotten were heavenly.
He couldn’t wait until he heard it moaning his name.
“What if she rejects you?” she inquired, the singsong quality of her tone letting him know that was banking on that.
He shrugged. “Then I just take her.”
It wasn’t the ideal outcome, but he’d do whatever he had to make you his.
A/N: It's out now!

Cat spirit (Jin) x mermaid reader
W: some violence and wounds, yandere behavior, sfw monster fluff
Tumblr media
Jin whistled cheerfully as he looked out over the lovely aquamarine sea from the deck of his massive yacht. Racketeering had been kind to him, blessing him with everything in the world he could ever want; money, toys, status, power, respect. Everything except one thing. He’d never found a mate, never been in love, never had tender feelings towards anyone.
He was surrounded by lady cat spirits, all in adoration of his money and power, clawing over each other to catch his eye, but none of them interested him. He’d have his fun with a few of them here and there, then toss them to the wind, bored and disappointed.
He flicked his fluffy black tail behind him as he took a sip of his martini, savoring the bite of the alcohol on his tongue. On days like this, he couldn’t help but feel lonely. On the deck below him the female cat spirits he’d invited lounged on white chairs, soaking in the sun and showing off their lithe bodies. His eyes drifted over them as if he were looking at a display of watches or some other trinket he didn’t need another of.
“Jin,” one named Cora purred as she smoothed her delicate fingers over his shoulder. She had pretty white ears and a fluffy white tail that any cat spirit would usually go crazy over.
“Why don’t we go inside and have a little one on one time,” she said, “you look bored. I bet I can cheer you up.”
He took another sip of his martini before answering and his pointy ears flattened against his head.
“Go back and join the other girls,” he said flatly.
He wasn’t in the mood to mindlessly shove his cock into someone he wasn’t interested in. Cora was pretty, sure, but he knew all these girls simply wanted to be on the arm of the biggest, most powerful gangster in the country…the Black Cat, as he was most commonly known.
It was all for aesthetics. They never asked him about his real interests or his feelings. They never stayed up late with him on sober nights talking under the moon and stars. They didn’t really care. They were happy to trade their bodies for the status and luxury he could bring them. It was all transactional, like everything else in his life. His guards were loyal because he was the richest and could offer them the most. It was the same for everyone else he employed. He didn’t have any real friends. As a gangster getting too close to the wrong person ended with a bullet in the brain.
“Don’t be that way, Jin,” she persisted, putting herself in his eyeline and thrusting her full bosom forward. The bikini she was wearing hung on for dear life.
“You can’t stand up here and sulk all day,” she pouted.
A low growl rumbled in his chest and glared at her.
“I said go away!” he snarled, his patience quickly evaporating, “unless you think you can swim back to shore from here!”
She blanched and hurried out of his orbit. Everyone knew Jin didn’t like to ask twice. If he had to ask a third time…you were no longer breathing.
Jin watched her go with distaste only for her to be replaced by the first mate of the yacht.
“We’re coming up on an island,” he said, “do you want to stop and let the girls play on the beach?”
He nodded. If they were bothering him, then they were getting bored and for his own peace of mind it was best to keep them occupied.
You sat on your favorite rock, on your favorite beach in the area of the ocean you loosely claimed as your territory. Mermaids didn’t own bits of rock like land walkers did, but mostly kept to themselves in whatever area they’d decided to occupy until they found a mate to share it with. The ocean was huge, there was plenty of space and very little competition.
There was a small grotto with a spring that fell over some rocks into the ocean, feeding a tangle of beautiful vines and flowers. You liked to sit there on sunny days and warm your slightly iridescent skin, while combing the tangles out of your hair. The island was perfect, small and so far out to sea no land walkers would bother you.
You sang softly to yourself as you let your pretty purple fin lazily swirl the water below you. There was no reason to think you were in any danger. You certainly had no idea there was a hungry set of bright green eyes focused on you.
Jin had made his way around the island, away from where the cat girls were splashing in the waves, hoping to find some peace and quiet, only to hear soft singing. Curious, he’d followed the noise, crouching in the brush so he could observe where it was coming from. Your voice drenched his senses like the sweetest honey, melting his stress and loneliness away with just a song.
His heart felt full and his eyes prickled with tears as he watched you. You didn’t just sound beautiful, you looked beautiful with purple iridescent skin and a large purple tail bleeding to a wide dark blue fin. Your scales and skin sparkled in the bright sunlight, reflecting a rainbow of colors. You were totally oblivious to his presence as he crept closer, silent on his feet.
His mouth watered as his natural attraction to fish locked onto you.
You didn’t even have time to flinch when he pounced on you, scooping you up in his arms and hauling you screaming back to his yacht. His first mate looked at him in confusion watching Jin clutching you tightly to his chest as you tried desperately to free yourself. You screamed and scratched, but it was no use. The cat spirit was much larger and stronger than you, pinning your arms to your sides easily.
“I caught a fish!” he beamed to his man, proudly carrying you onboard.
Your heart pounded in your chest, sure the cat was planning on fileting you and having you for dinner.
“Be calm, pretty,” he purred at you as he carried you to the master suite of the yacht, after ordering the first mate to inform the captain you were ready to take off.
“Let me go right now!” you howled, but he wasn’t listening.
He flopped you into his rather large bathtub to examine you, avoiding your tail nimbly as you tried to whack him with it. He gingerly reached over you and started the tap, filling the bath with warm water so you wouldn’t dry out. It wasn’t the ocean water you were used to, but it was clean and did the trick.
“What are you going to do to me?” you finally squeaked, once you’d realized there was no escaping the handsome black cat spirit. He gave you a wide smile framed with pointy white canine teeth and his ears perked with interest. His face was beautiful, with a strong, cut jaw and a straight nose. His bright green eyes glinted with satisfaction for his catch.
“I’m taking you home with me, love,” he said, his voice smooth and deep, like a rolling fog, “tell me what you like to eat and I’ll keep your belly full.”
You frowned at him but managed to squeak out that you ate fish, just like he did, only so you could get rid of him. He nodded and grinned at you before disappearing out of the bathroom door. When he was gone you immediately tried to escape, but with no legs you were useless on land and by the time you even scooted your way to the door you only found that it was locked.
Jin returned a few minutes later with a plate of fresh sushi the cook had prepared and frowned down at you.
“There’s no use trying to escape, little one,” he said, setting the plate down on the counter before picking you back up and replacing you in the bath, “I always get what I want.”
You shuddered at the thought.
“What’s your name my sweet little fishie,” he asked, plucking a piece of the raw fish and holding it up to your mouth.
You didn’t want to eat from his fingers, but it seemed you were trapped and it was best to keep your stamina up, so you reluctantly opened your mouth and let him pop the piece in.
“(Y/N),” you muttered after swallowing.
Taking the food from him turned out to be an immediate mistake, because shortly after you swallowed it your vision got hazy and everything faded to black.
—--
You woke up tasting salt water and your eyes popped open, hoping your capture had all been a dream. Looking around you realized you were indeed in ocean water, but not your ocean. You swam around quickly with your strong tail, finding yourself walled in by glass. Someone had built a fake coral reef inside and small, newly developed corals and sea grasses had been planted around it. Peering through the glass you found the tank you were being held captive in was in a large bedroom.
It was very fancy, though as a mermaid, you didn’t have anything to compare it to. You panicked banging on the glass with your small fists, but the glass was very thick and didn’t move an inch under your assault. Looking for another way out you rushed to the surface, finding it opened to a wide catwalk with stairs leading down to the bedroom.
“You’re awake, finally!” the cat spirit purred at you, crouching down to the water to your eye level, “do you like your new home? We can get you whatever you need to make it comfortable.”
“Take me back!” you growled, “I don’t belong in here!”
He chuckled and his tail swished playfully back and forth behind him.
“Yes you do, my little fishie,” he said, grinning and coiling a bit of your hair around a finger, “I caught you and now you’re mine!”
As a last ditch effort to escape, you grabbed his ankle, giving it a firm pull, trying to drag him into the water with you and drown him, but it was all for nothing. His legs were like iron and stood strong against your assault. He just took the opportunity to grab you by your arms and pull you into his.
“Don’t worry, I won't keep you in here all the time,” he said as he carried you down the stairs, “I have baths made for you all around the house so you can be with me and something very special I had built  just for you.”
He walked past one of these “special baths”, just large enough that you could fit inside comfortably and wouldn’t dry out and carried you through a beautiful house, done up in white marble. You felt so small in his large warm arms, his heartbeat pounding in your ears as you huddled fearfully against his chest with excitement. Your heart pounded in response. You’d never been this far on land before, it was very frightening.
He went through a pair of double doors and you blinked as bright sunlight blinded you for a moment. You gasped at what was spread out before you, a large swimming pool filled with salt water from the smell of it. There wasn’t just a pool, but many, many beautiful plants nestled in carefully placed rock formations. A waterfall tumbled into the far side of the pool, reminding you of the grotto he took you from. In the water, colorful, fat fish swam around lazily. The bottom was also planted with sea grass, making a soft floor where you could rest.
“I built this just for you,” he beamed down at you in his arms, “do you like it? I didn’t spare a single expense.”
You didn’t know what to say, his voice held so much hope. The grotto was very beautiful, but it wasn’t your home.
“Please take me back,” you begged, “this is wrong, I don’t belong here.”
He frowned at you.
“If you don’t behave I’ll keep you in the small tank,” he growled and you could tell by his tone he meant it. If you wanted to stretch your fin, you’d have to play by his rules.
“Uh…yes…it’s very nice,” you agreed, trying to find the best in the situation.
“Good,” he beamed, “I want you to get comfortable here. This will be your home from now on. You can stay here during the day when you are not with me. Then you will come back to the small tank at night.”
“Um…okay,” you agreed, since there wasn’t much else for you to do. The entire area was framed by tall walls, you had no idea how close to the ocean you even were. It would be pointless to try and flop away on just your fin.
"This is for another day," he informed you, "today I have some business to attend to and you'll keep me company in my office."
Your face fell even further that you wouldn't be able to disappear under the deep water of the pool right away, but there was nothing to be done about it.
He carried you deeper into the house to a room painted in dark hunter green. The furniture was all dark, heavy wood and honestly it was a bit intimidating with the thick brocade curtains pulled. He didn’t take you to the pool he’d built beside his desk right away, instead sitting you on his lap, his strong fingers drifting over your shoulder as he examined you. His nose grazed your neck as he inhaled your scent, fresh and a bit sweet.
“What a pretty little thing you are,” he said, peering at you with his large, green eyes, the color of sea grass in sunlight, “why don’t you sing for me like you did at the beach?”
You didn’t want to sing for him, but you were at his mercy and angering him seemed like a sure fire way to get turned into sushi, so you started humming a soft tune before breaking out into a song you often sang on dark stormy nights when the ocean churned around you.
His eyes drifted shut and he leaned back, gently stroking your hair as the words rolled from your lips.
“Jin! Oh! Here you are!” a high pitched voice interrupted your singing and Jin grunted, annoyed. You stumbled over your last few words, the rest dying in your throat.
“What do you want, Cora?” he snapped as a female cat spirit appeared in the doorway dressed in a tight blue dress that showed off her hourglass figure.
“What is that?” she answered his question with her own.
Jin glared at her and pulled you a bit closer, as if the cat spirit would steal you away.
“She’s my mate,” he said, surprising both you and Cora.
“What?!” you and she exclaimed at the same time.
A big Cheshire cat smile grew on his face as he looked at you thoughtfully, his eyes traveling over your hair and across your face as he enjoyed the details of your body.
“You’ve got to be joking,” she snorted, daring to come closer, “she’s a fish.”
“I’m a mermaid,” you snapped reflexively, “I eat fish.”
Jin’s eyes locked on yours, amused at your outburst. He had no idea there was a little bit of fire behind your fear and he liked you all the more because of it.
“Whatever,” Cora snarled, “she can’t be your mate, stop teasing me and let’s go to dinner. I’m craving steak tonight.”
Cora had gotten used to a more luxurious position amongst the girls Jin cycled through regularly, being the one he saw most often. She hung around him like a gnat, chasing anyone who got too close away. Jin had no particular attachment to her, but she was extremely pretty and looked nice on his arm. He thought of her like a nice pair of shoes or a watch, an accessory to be thrown away when it was out of fashion.
The smile dissolved from his face and his eyes fell on her so fierce that Cora instinctively took a step back.
“If you dare disrespect my mate again I’ll have you quartered,” he said, so calmly and evenly it was more frightening than if he had yelled it.
He wrapped his large hand around your head and pulled you into his chest.
“She’s mine. You can go, Cora,” he said just as evenly.
“This isn’t fair!” she pouted, “I’ve been with you through everything! I’ve been by your side, comforting you…what about all the nights we spent together?”
He let out a chuckle as cold as ice.
“You’ve enjoyed my body and my money,” he responded, “and now I’m done with you. Find someone else to bother.”
“Bother!?” she gasped, taking two bold steps forward, “why are you acting like this? Have I done something wrong? I’ve always given myself to you, whenever you wanted, now you throw me out like a piece of trash?!”
“You give yourself to whoever buys you the sparkliest gift and makes you the biggest promises,” he snapped, “you were with the Attorney General just last week.”
She blanched, thinking he hadn’t known about that.
“I don’t have to guess what you spoke to him about between the sheets,” he hissed, “you’re lucky I didn’t have you shot. Fortunately for me, I’m smart enough not to share my secrets with a twit. I only spared you because I don’t like killing women if I don’t have to and I thought you might be of some use to me. Nothing more. Now your usefulness has run out, get out of my sight!”
“You’ll regret this!” were her parting words, before she fled the room.
“Don’t mind her,” Jin assured you, his fingers warming your bare shoulders, “you’re my mate and there’s nothing she can say or do to change that.”
It was your turn to blanch.
“But I hardly know you. I don’t even know your name!” you gasped.
He laughed again, but this one was full of warmth.
“Jin,” he said simply, “you can call me Jin.”
He brushed a finger along your jawline.
“From now on, you’re the only woman that can call me by that name,” he said.
“What about this one, darling?” Jin asked, holding up a jeweled bikini top from the pile the vendor had brought for you to try on.
You wrinkled your nose.
“I don’t know…” you murmured.
He pouted at you and his ears flattened, an expression you’d come to recognize over the few days you’d been his captive. You had to admit, his perky, expressive ears were quite cute.
“It will look beautiful on you. I want to drape you in jewels,” he said.
He’d already gifted you a dozen necklaces, including the diamond collar you were wearing. He loved to dress you up, it was an excuse to touch you and look at you more closely. He also guarded you fiercely. No one was allowed near your private pool and when you sat in his lap while he worked, his grip was almost painful on your hip while he glared at his guards if their eyes drifted to you.
His house, which you’d gleaned had been filled with women before you, had been emptied of them. The girls who had his private number were blocked or turned away at the door. He made it clear he didn’t want anyone but you.
His devotion was endless. He whispered sweet nothings in your ear and stroked your cheeks while you sat with him, all the while demanding you sing to him whenever he liked. He liked to lay in bed and watch you swim slowly while he fell asleep. Still, you were sure you were nothing but a toy to him. Somewhere in the back of your mind, you hoped he’d grow bored of you and throw you back where you came from. He had grown bored of all the other women he’d entertained, why not you?
“If you like it,” you said, your shoulders drooping in submission, “I’ll wear it…”
He had no qualms with threatening you to get what he wanted. He hadn’t yet escalated to threatening you with violence, but he often threatened he would keep you in the small pool or the even smaller one by his bed if you didn’t do as he said. He frowned and crossed the room to you.
“Don’t be like that,” he said in a soft voice, “pick what you like. We’ll send the rest back.”
You lifted your chin to him and nodded meekly.
“Maybe one with fewer stones?” you asked and his face brightened.
“You appreciate simplicity,” he crooned, leaning down and pecking you on the cheek, “I like that about you.”
Your cheek tingled under his touch. You’d grown more and more accustomed to his fondling and to your own shame had come to like it more and more. His hands were large and warm, cupping your whole face in one palm. He caressed your skin as if you were the softest, sweetest thing he’d ever touched. As far as Jin was concerned you were. Your heart fluttered a bit as he drifted back to the pile of clothes.
“I told you you’d regret choosing her!” a shrill voice screeched and you both glanced up to find Cora standing in the doorway, a pistol in her hand pointed directly at you.
“I’m not letting this fish take my place,” she snarled and then everything happened all at once.
You heard the gun crack and saw Jin leap in front of you, then before your eyes a red splotch bloomed on his back where the bullet passed through, missing you entirely.
“Jin!” you heard yourself scream somewhere far away as you pushed your body from where you were sitting to crawl to his side.
You weren’t even aware of the guards tackling Cora or her screaming as one of them dispatched her. The second gunshot that ended her life didn’t even register as you pressed your hands down on the wound, willing the blood to stop flowing from his body.
While salty tears poured down your cheeks, he only smiled up at you, extending a firm hand to touch your face.
“W-why?” you gasped, your eyes meeting his, “why would you do that?!”
“I love you…” he murmured, a soft smile on his face, “I will…protect you…”
Your scream echoed in your head like cymbals crashing as his body was pulled away from you. You clawed at him and hopped on your fin, but you couldn’t keep up with the guards carrying him to find a doctor, leaving you alone with Cora’s motionless body.
You collapsed onto the floor, weeping, unsure what else to do.
—-
That night seemed to last forever. Jin’s guards wouldn’t tell you anything, insisting you stay in your pool until they’d decided what to do with you. Finally, as the dawn broke a burly guard called you with a whistle and you let him pick you up and carry you inside the mansion.
Your heart pounded in your chest, unsure what to expect as he carried you back to Jin’s bedroom. The doctor was standing over his bed, his face lined with concern. He glanced up at you when the door slammed shut behind you and the guard.
“I-Is he dead?” you asked, your voice just a whisper.
The doctor gave you a wan smile and shook his head. The tension building in your chest deflated like a limp balloon. He’d lived.
“He’ll be okay in a few days,” he said, “the bullet passed straight through and missed anything vital, but he needs lots of rest. He won't be carrying you around for a while.”
“Put me on the bed,” you ordered the guard, who to your surprise obeyed your command without a word.
“Can you leave us for a while?” you asked. The doctor packed his things quickly and took the guard with him, telling you to call if you needed help.
You looked down at the cat spirit who had taken a bullet for you. He looked so peaceful, his eyes shut and his hands folded over his stomach. His firm chest was wrapped in a white bandage and your fingers danced lightly over the wound. The wound he’d gotten for you.
“I completely don’t understand why you did what you did. I don’t understand how you can come to love someone in only a few days,” you whispered to him, “but thank you and I believe you.”
You slept beside him despite how your skin cracked from drying out, your head tucked into his neck.
Jin woke to the sound of your voice softly singing. This song wasn’t sad like the other ones you liked to sing. Instead it was sweet, almost hopeful…He opened his eyes to find you sitting next to him, stroking his hair.
“You’re awake,” you said, smiling down at him, “how do you feel?”
He sat up slowly, even though it hurt, so he could look down at you.
“Wonderful,” he purred, pleased that you were showering him with attention.
You snorted softly.
“I doubt that,” you said with a little giggle, “you almost died!”
He gave you a half smile.
“You might not believe me, but I’ve had worse,” he said.
“That’s hard to imagine,” you replied, but your eyes landed on the many scars that littered his bare chest.
He cupped your chin with the unwounded hand, tipping your face up to his.
“I’ll do anything to protect you,” he said, “you’re the only one I want. A life without you isn’t worth living. I’d rather die. It was worth it all to have you look at me the way you are looking at me right now.”
“H-how am I looking at you?” you asked.
His smile stretched mischievously across his face.
“Like you want a kiss,” he said.
You laughed lightly, a sweet, tinkling sound to Jin’s ears. He’d take a hundred bullets for that sound.
“I suppose you’ve earned it,” you admitted, pushing yourself up to find his lips and capturing them with yours.
His kiss was like finding your way home after a long swim, safe and comforting. Your mouth moved over his, tasting the mint on his breath, feeling the firm skin, and you sighed into it. He deepened the kiss, curling his arm around your body and pulling you onto his lap with one smooth motion. You tried to pull away. To reprimand him for pushing himself too much  only a day after being shot, but his hand only slid up your back, cupping your head, holding you to him.
He basked in your scent, like a fresh ocean breeze and tangled his fingers in your hair. He didn’t want the kiss to ever end. When he finally pulled away, he pressed his forehead to yours.
“You’re mine, (Y/N),” he said softly, “don’t ever forget that.”

So I was thinking that the fae obvi have more magical energy than humans and that it’s a good thing that Sebek’s mom was the one to give birth since I’m sure that even having half fae children would require a lot of magical energy to be born; energy that humans are most likely not capable of producing and will surely leave them in critical condition if put in such a situation. Now imagine yan Malleus baby trapping a non magical human reader. He has to keep giving u his magical energy throughout ur pregnancy so that u don’t die, and u have to keep accepting his advances bc dying from such causes does not sound the least bit pleasant (or quick). And despite the dire circumstance ur in, Malleus can’t help that he enjoys giving u his magical energy, which is via (hovering) staying close to u, hugs, kisses, SEX (his favourite), cuddles and so on. ( he always gets away w the “but dearest it’s for ur u and the baby” line whenever he’s pounding into u for hours (i am so sorry I’ll see myself out)
Anon, please don't leave!!! This is such a good thought omg!
(cw: yandere, nsfw, female reader, pregnancy/baby-trapping, dub-con, coercion)
He never forces himself upon you, as he fears that doing so would only make you dislike him more and it might harm you and the baby. Instead, he coerces you into physical touch, informing you that it's for your own good and that he just wants you and the baby to be safe and healthy. Malleus loves to hold you. Whether holding it's your soft hands or massaging your shoulders as he hovers over you while you're preparing meals, he seeks your warmth at all times. He loves to place his hands over your belly to feel the life within as the baby gives an occasional kick. You have no idea just how happy you've made him. Malleus would do anything for you, which is why it disheartens him when you avoid his touch. He has to remind you that this is to keep you healthy and alive. It's only a few more months; you can handle it.
He's always so sincere when he tells you those things, especially during sex. He means every single praise and compliment, every admission of love. This is all for you. It's best not to fight him. Doing so would only end poorly for you, and the last thing he wants to do is use magic on you to force you into submission. Just endure it for a little while. With how gentle and sweet he is, it's hard to truly hate these moments. And if you focus on how good he's making you feel, you might come to enjoy it. Malleus hopes you'll begin to look forward to these precious moments in the same way he does.

ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ- ︶︶︶︶༉‧ ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ- ︶︶︶︶༉‧
★ sydney the cockatoo
sydney's the most mischievous bastard out of all of them. Your watch is missing? In his nest. Your necklace? His nest aswell. Your hat? He's wearing it. You're never getting it back. He sees something shiny, it's in his little claws. Like all the avian hybrids, his arms are wings and he's covered in feathers. Having a human face with little beak like lips. His legs are bird legs. Black eyes staring at you from his nest in a tree. Be careful where you step after any surprise snow in's. He's probably burying himself in it. 5'4
★ Evangeline the peahen
The elegant, sophisticated, coy, angelic Evangeline. Gabriel's mate but she despises his guts, similar to princess, she much prefers you. Often dragging you to their nest and squabbling with Gabriel when he tried taking you away. She may not be as pretty as he is outside, but she certainly is Inside. Proudly showing off her brown little feathers. 5'6 brown straight hair, black eyes and a little pale
★ gabriel the white peacock
Egotistical bastard. He hates his wife for being so ugly, but he does think you are extraordinarily beautiful. He could definitely envision putting his clutch inside you. He'll figure a way out, don't you worry! An albino peacock male with red eyes, white feathers and extremely pale. 5'7
★ fajarah the ring necked parakeet
she's sydney's little partner in crime, but lately she's mellowed out more. Now preferring to watch the koi mers swim around and munch on some chips she stole from the main house. Tilting her head curiously at something she finds interesting. Bright green feathers and hair, black eyes and tan skin. 5'2
★ foolish the owl finch
often seen in the fields with the cows and bulls, he's quiet and prefers to watch. Hopping around quickly and pecking things that catch his eye. There's not much to say about him since he keeps to himself alot, but he does seem to like the biscuits you bring for him.
★ simon the tyto alba
Simon is deaf and mute, having been found wandering around the farm as a little chick. Now the farmers are looking for any way to help him with his hearing long term, but he seems to have adjusted to looking for any vibrations on the ground. Pale and white hair, black eyes, very pointy beak like lips
★ the koimer quintuplets
There's nothing much different between the quintuplets except their different patterns. Just that tancho is the leader and more mature, Kiko is more curious and childish, Hime is sweet and reserved, tsu is a chatterbox and humble, koromo is loud and nosy
★ mason the "lake monster" (crocodile)
Mason is like an older brother figure for the quintuplets, teaching them Little bits of English and watching you interact with them from the depths of the lake or hidden behind some underwater trees in the lake. You may not always see him, but he's always there. Silently watching. Messy grungy hair, green eyes, and has a light tan. 6'4

umm is it possible to get a yandere! male!siren x shy!gn reader?
Fish Bait
Yandere!Siren x GN Reader
CW: Kidnapping, assault, minor stalking, murder, thalassophobia maybe?
🌊 You are quite shy when it came to talking to people. You found the whole 'socializing thing' a bit overwhelming considering how rough and loud the rest of the people in your academy was.
🌊 You much preferred staying by the shore with a nice book or drawing book to enjoy the sound of the waves with. The ocean breeze and wailing of seagulls never failed to relax you.
🌊 One day, you heard the strange sound of splashing by the tide pools along the more rocks area of the shore. You thought it was a fish or some other animal that got stuck in one of the pools after the tide retreated and got up to help it out.
🌊 But what you saw was no animal, well, half animal. In one of the pools was a man with the lower half of a fish, his scales glistened wondrously as it splashed in the water.
🌊 The man looked at you with wide eyes and froze. You put your hands up to show you meant no harm.
🌊 "Please! Spare me! I just want to go home!"
🌊 "Calm down! I won't hurt you!"
🌊 He shook with fear as your hands drew closer to him.
🌊 You then pulled him up from the pool and carried him to the sea, he stares at you as you gently lowered him unto the water.
🌊 As soon as his tail was submerged in the sea, he swam out of your grasp and went a distance away from you, part of his head peeking out of the water as his red eyes looked at yours.
🌊 "Well...safe travels.." You mutter, wading back to shore, but the merman peeks his mouth out the water and shouts to you.
🌊 "You're not going to ask anything in return?"
🌊 You look back. "Uhm..no, I'm fine, thanks anyway.."
🌊 "Hmm, you know...you can come with me to my home. I'll grant you the power to breathe under water and you can enjoy the treasures I have there. What do you say? It's the least I can do for what you've done for me!"
🌊 "Nah, I'm good. Be safe though, I heard theres pirates that hunt merfolk nowadays..." You continue your way to shore but the merman swims quickly to your side.
🌊 "Don't you want to be rid of those insolent fools you call schoolmates? I can give you a life people only dream of!"
🌊 "I'm not really..interested..."
🌊 "...You're not?"
🌊 "Yeah..."
🌊 "...Oh..uh..ok...wow-um..well, bye I guess..." The man stutters before sinking his head back into the water.
🌊 You sigh, that was some encounter. You doubt you'd run into something like that again...
🌊 Boy howdy you were wrong.
🌊 You'd spot the strange boy again and again, always hiding back behind the rock or piece of driftwood he was watching you from.
🌊 Sometimes you'd also find trinkets and beautiful stones laid on the shore. You never took them though; you didn't want to take something someone probably lost. The merman would grumble to himself every time you ignored his baits.
🌊 You'd also see him again trapped in the pools, feigning sorrow that poor little him got stuck again during another low tide. What ever shall he do?
🌊 Your days would go on like this, the merman desperately trying to lure you into the sea but to no avail due to your shy and polite nature.
🌊 Him basically stalking you turned to him directly talking to you and trying to get you to go with him in the water.
🌊 "Oh dear, I've been stuck at this reef for ages! I just can't get out! Could you help me please? I promise not to drown you!"
🌊 "No thanks, I'm on the last chapter of my book..."
🌊 "My, my, it's so lonely in the ocean, not a playmate in sight, come down with me so we can really get to know each other yeah?"
🌊 "I don't really wanna get my clothes wet..."
🌊 What you thought was a potentially dangerous creature of the sea became a whiny, attention-seeking drama queen.
🌊 Eventually, you'd learn his name is Caspian. He gave up a bit on trying to lure you and settled on making small talk with you.
🌊 Most of your conversations would revolve around your cultures, how you two lived compared to eachother.
🌊 "So those silver things with teeth aren't combs? Interesting...tell me more!"
🌊 He more or less looked up to you because of the knowledge you'd tell him, even though it was all basic things ever human knows, but he wasn't a human so, I guess it's alright.
🌊 He'd try to crawl onto shore to see what you were reading or drawing. You'd have to scoot away from him because he was dripping wet, and you didn't want your paper to get soiled.
🌊 Please read to him! He loves it when you read out loud the books you bring!
🌊 Life seemed pretty content with you having a friend to talk to, one who's not judgmental of your quiet personality.
🌊 That was until one day, you heard laughing and shouting from your usual spot.
🌊 You saw your classmates, waist deep in the water trying to drag Caspian to the shore, the merman snarling and biting the air around him angrily as the bullies degrade and laugh at his attempts to wriggle out of their grasp.
🌊 "Look at this, boys! With this ugly thing we can buy the whole pub if we wanted to!"
🌊 "H-hey! Leave him alone!" You shouted, dropping your things as you ran to help your friend, but one of them punched you with in the face and grabbed you, about to hit you again.
🌊 "What? You're gonna let this siren kill everyone that comes to this beach? God you're dumb! No wonder why you have no friends!"
🌊 He was about to give another blow when you both heard a shrill cry from the ocean.
🌊 The water pooled with crimson as only the splashing of limbs can be seen form the shore, cries and gurgles are heard from the writhing gore. Your classmate rushes into the water to save his friends before the violent splashing stops and the red patch of bloody water extends towards him and around him until you see him get yanked below into the water, a splash of a fish tail verified in your mind that it was Caspian.
🌊 You could feel your heart pounding as you see the siren lift its head from the water, his blood red eyes staring at you again with razor sharp teeth bared.
🌊 "P-please...don't hurt me..I didn't lead them to you I swear!" You cried as he crawled to your shivering form.
🌊 You held your breath as he pulled you in a wet hug, your clothes getting stained by the salty, bloody water.
🌊 "Oh my darling~ I know you would never hurt me~ But we're not safe here anymore..I fear I'll have to take you somewhere safer...somewhere away from those disgusting creatures."
🌊 You couldn't even react before you were pulled into the water forcefully, you kicked and swam all you could to get him to let go of you, but soon enough, your whole body was under the water. The only thing that was left of you were your things by the sand, and bubbles that rose to the surface before stopping.
🌊 "You'll be safe here my love, my most wonderful treasure~"

Slippery As An Eel
Yandere Eel Merman x Gender Neutral Reader (CW: Non-con, violent sex, bloody sex, biting, inhuman genitalia, huge dick, stalking, kidnapping, sadistic yandere, merman, eel man, merpeople, magic, general yandere behavior, reader gets broken ankle, dacryphylia, long tongue down reader’s throat) Word Count: 5.6k (Where I live there is still over an hour of May left, and I posted something for Mermay already, but it did not have smut, so I hope this feeds you all well for Mermay!)
Veeris was a merman, part man and part eel. Though most merfolk stayed well away from humankind, Veeris never managed to shake his fascination with them. They were so limited in their biped forms and yet they managed to traverse the skies and the seas. Maybe not so gracefully as a harpy or a merperson, but they traversed these domains nonetheless. And they did such a wide array of behaviors, from what he observed by watching the beach. They were just so fun to watch, going about their days. So small and fragile, but with little to no fear of predators. Veeris supposed that his own kind did a variety of crafts and hobbies too, but the eelfolk were a bit more homogenous than humans, who seemed far less predictable. Maybe it was just that he had lived among his own species so they just seemed more boring, but whatever the reason humans held some kind of spell over him. But there was one human that held his attention in a way that none others did, in a way that made his heart flutter and his thoughts race. And that human was you. It was a slow development, but after a while he became totally enthralled by you. Not knowing your name he dubbed you his "little siren" for getting him so attracted to you. He first saw you when you were picking up garbage from the beach, an activity that wasn't too uncommon as far as humans are concerned, but not totally normal either, it was always a welcome sight to see a human caring about the ocean rather than just polluting it though.   But another quality you possessed that made it so easy for the eel to fixate on you was that unlike the tourists who came and went you were a constant figure at the beach, you were practically a feature of it. And you weren't just a frequent beach goer, you were also consistent in the times that you went. Veeris could almost always predict just exactly when you were going to be there. At that point Veeris was extremely interested and curious about you, but not yet obsessed. What really made him yearn for you was when there was an oil spill. Of course you were a volunteer on the coast, helping to clean up birds that had gotten oil on them. And when he saw that he realized he longed for your delicate hands attending to him, traipsing over and exploring every inch of his body, in the same way that they were diligently cleaning every inch of the wildlife. Veeris tried to temper his passions, he really did. After all, you were a human and on the land and there was no way for him to even get to you, no matter how much he wanted to. Unless... he took advantage of your natural care for sea life. He was sea life was he not? The eel man knew every single inch of every path you took around the beach when you did one of your trash clean-ups. You always started at the south end and ended at the much more secluded north end. He staked the beach out for days waiting for a moment where there were no other humans nearby when you approached the end of your route. As you were going about using your grabber tool to pick up today's wave of never ending pollution you suddenly saw something large wash up with the gentle waves lapping at the shore. Just about 15ft. in front of you now lay a mind bogglingly long merman. Each of his features were striking in their own right. His rippling muscles, the long dark purple hair, almost black, splayed about messily over his face. The blue freckles covering his face, and parts of his arms, and chest. The dark purple scales covering his webbed hands and going up to his arms. But by far his most striking feature was the over 10ft. long tail. It was large, purple, had fins running all the way down its length, and looked oily, it was currently under a net. You saw his sharp teeth as he looked up pleadingly with his dark blue eyes and spoke in a pained voice, "Please help me, I’m Veeris. I was just swimming along when my arm and tail got caught up in this drifting net and I got washed ashore!" You told him your name and said that of course you would assist him! You ran over to him without hesitation, some humans may be scared of the seafolk, but you weren't a bigot! And clearly he needed your help. As you finished removing the net he struck without warning, wrapping you in his long slimy tail before slithering into the water and quickly making his way to his cave. You were stunned for a moment before you started to struggle, but the tail was heavy and muscular, almost like having the largest snake wrapped around you. There was also the little issue of having to contend with not being able to breathe. Just when your head was pounding and it felt like your lungs were on fire you felt the rush of air on your face as he crawled onto the floor of the seafloor, dragging you behind him. You gagged and spit up some water you had accidentally inhaled. "Wh-why did you bring me here?" You managed to croak out. It was practically unheard of for a merman of any type to eat a human but... with human meddling in the ocean fish may be scarce and anyone could be driven to extremes if starving. And those sharp teeth were definitely made for meat. "To be my mate, little siren!" He coiled around you and looked down at you intensely, this was the first time he had ever gotten to see you close up and he wanted to savor each and every little detail of his precious human mate. You flinched as his webbed fingers gently caressed your face. Welp, better than him intending you to be dinner. But uh... not ideal. You feared that trying to reason with him might make him angry and possibly violent, he clearly was not too rational, but maybe some quick thinking could weasel you out of this situation. “Well, um, I have a lot of responsibilities and a job that I have to do. Bills to pay. I can’t just be stuck here!” Maybe a bit flimsy, but maybe he’d buy it? “Ah, but don’t worry my sweet siren, with you being here you won’t have any of those types of worries in the first place! You can just relax and let me take care of you~” Damn, it didn't work. “But this cave is so damp and cool, surely my health will suffer if I stay for too long! And how am I to eat fresh vegetables or cook?” “Don’t worry, my love, I am good friends with the sea witch, Emrul. She has spent time amongst the humans in their form and has used powerful magic to make the next chamber in the cave habitable for your kind!” For the first time you took notice of your surroundings. You were in a huge room, a large portion of which was submerged in water where the cave led out to the sea, but the other portion was smooth rocky terrain. The walls had faintly glowing shells embedded into them with stalactites and stalagmites running together to form large pillars along the farther edges of the room. A soft moss like substance covered the rocky floor in large patches, it was probably of magical origin given that you could see no other way for it to survive here. Glancing behind you you saw a wide corridor leading deeper into Veeris’ den. Veeris slithered closer and grabbed your hand, leading you into the next room. Despite your reluctance to be there even you had to gasp at the sight before you. The room was enormous. The ceiling was a false but convincing image of the sky, clear blue with moving clouds. It was so real there was even a breeze, if it were not for the cave walls remaining the same as the previous chamber you would have been convinced you were really in a scenic location above water. The room was filled with grass and soil and even trees, there was a freshwater pond to give you a water source and in the distance there was a huge cabin, that even Veeris could easily fit into, in the corner with a sprawling garden free of any pests or disease, it was truly amazing. There was even a miniature river for Veeris to cool off in when he needed moisture and when he needed to get from one side of the room to the other quickly, it had arching bridges over it in several places so you could cross and remain dry. “See? Everything a human needs is here! Fresh air, food, trees, plants, food, freshwater, shelter!” Fuck! No dice. There was one last thing you could try. “Well, humans don’t fall in love or move in so fast… not usually… most of us prefer to date for a bit first.” “Date?” “Yeah, where you get to know someone gradually through planned meet-ups! And if you like them then you agree to be mates!” “Oh, so an extended courtship ritual that you need? Okay, little siren, how do we do a human date? I have already watched you for so long every time you are on the beach so I know I love you, but I don’t mind waiting a bit and doing this for you if it makes you more comfortable~” He looked at you and gave a toothy grin that you supposed was meant to be sweet but his sharp teeth gave you chills. But it wasn’t just that grin that made you exceedingly uncomfortable, apparently this eel man had been stalking you for quite some time. Oh god, it was working! “Well, uh, you can take me back up and we can meet and hang out on the beach sometime. I don’t know how your calendar works… maybe during the full moon, two nights from now?” “Okay!” Veeris took you gently and brought you back to the surface, it wasn’t that long, you could have made it yourself in one breath if you had to… assuming you were wearing flippers. Veeris gave you a hug and you said your goodbyes, once he re-submerged into the blue depths you ran home. You hadn’t brought your car since you lived just up the road. You had all of zero intention of going on your date, instead you started looking into new places to live. The nature of your work meant you absolutely had to be near an ocean, it would take some time to pull off but you sure as shit would not remain anywhere near this beach! Veeris, on the other hand, could not wait for his date. In only two days he would court and win the heart of his beloved, he just knew it! He could hardly focus on hunting, eating, or sleeping. He was just so excited, even a bit nervous despite his confidence that he would win you over. When the full moon started to rise Veeris was already at the spot where he first met you. You weren’t there, but that was okay, he had gotten there pretty early in the night in his excitement to see you again. But as the hours passed and the moon reached its zenith, with moonlight dancing on the water you never showed up. Veeris was heartbroken. At first he was depressed, then he was enraged. How could his little siren do something like this to him? He began to go back to his lair when a thought occurred to him. What if something had happened to you? What if you had been injured or hurt? It was the middle of the night, but Emrul was always up performing rituals and spells during the night of a full moon. Veeris knew he would need her help and did not delay in changing course and swimming directly to her dwelling. Emrul lived nearby, in a small stone building carved into the rocky side of a trench, secluded enough to perform her magical research and incantations in relative peace, but also close enough to the people that sought after her unique services. Her perimeter spell had already alerted her to Veeris’ arrival and she was outside to greet him. She looked very similar to him, with the obvious difference that she was a woman. Her scales were also a very dark, almost black, shade of blue rather than purple. She warmly greeted her fellow eel as they both went into her abode. Vials of brightly colored fluids lined her shelves, a cauldron bubbled with a mystic fluid that was thicker than water, and the smell of pungent ingredients permeated the water. “So, what brings you to me at such an hour? It must be important…” “it is… I really need your help...” And, after explaining his situation to her, he got it. A few days later you were in your house getting ready for bed. You had already arranged everything for your move, it wasn’t too terribly far, just 35 miles up the coast. All your things were already packed. You would miss the area, but you had no familial ties and no friends that lived near so that made things easier. You couldn’t stay knowing what was waiting to drag you into the depths. As you turned off the light and got into bed you slept soundly for the first time in days. But you didn’t stay asleep, you heard something outside. You ignored it at first, thinking it was just some raccoon or other such animal roaming about in the dark. But then you heard pounding at your door. You looked through the peephole to see who could possibly be disturbing you at this hour. What you saw made your blood run cold. Veeris, somehow, this far inland. Except there were now two very human legs where his tail should have been, he had no scales, and he was also dressed in very old style clothing. Like an alien who had seen fashion from the Victorian era and wore it thinking it would blend them in with modern day humans. How was he on land? How had he found you!? You ran back upstairs and hid under your bed, hoping that he would think you weren’t home and simply leave. And if he did come in maybe he wouldn’t find you under there. The pounding at the door only grew more fervent, you prayed he would just take a hint and leave but it didn’t seem like a lack of response was going to be enough of a deterrent for the former eel man. Veeris was worried for your safety, worried something terrible may have happened to you, so there was no force on earth that was going to prevent him from seeing you. And he knew you were inside. Emrul didn’t just enchant him with a temporary human form but also let him have a homing crystal that was tuned to the object of his desire. He knew you were inside this human building. Knocking wasn’t working, what if someone had you bound or you were injured and unable to come to the door? With a mighty heave he snapped the door and entered your home, calling out your name as he searched every room. When he reached your bedroom the crystal grew warm and glowed more strongly. You were close. His heavy steps boomed and thudded around you as he checked under your covers and opened your closet. There was now only one place left to check. Veeris easily pushed aside your bed, revealing you huddled up in a fetal position below where the bed previously stood. He picked you up easily and pulled you into a painfully tight embrace. “My siren! What happened to you!? Are you okay? Why did you miss our date?” Veeris was sure there had to be a proper explanation, like maybe you had been ill or someone had hurt you. You only had to get him to leave you alone for another night and then you could find a human mage, warlock, witch, or sorcerer of some type to block out magical tracking. You decided to go with old reliable. In a sickly voice you answered him after a few convincing coughs, “I-i wanted to come, of course I did but… I was so s-sick. I still am. That’s why I was under the bed, I had fallen and couldn’t even get up!” You finished your lie with a few more fake coughs and a slight whimper of pain. Veeris was totally convinced of your deception. Perhaps, as you would soon realize, just a bit too convinced. “Oh, my poor sweet angel fish, I am so sorry that you have been suffering. Forget the date.” Haha, Success! “You clearly cannot be left alone in this condition, don’t worry I will take good care of you, I will make sure you get plenty of rest and all your needs are taken care of!” FUCK! “No, no! You don’t need to go through all of that trouble! I was already starting to feel a little bit better!” You did not like where this was going. “Nonsense, what kind of potential mate would I be if I just left you to suffer! You don’t need to be so strong, you can rely on me.” “B-but the cold water could make me worse!” “Don’t worry, the swim to my cave is so brief that you won’t be exposed long and we can warm up and dry you off in that human dwelling Emrul put in the cave for us! And here, this will let you breathe underwater! It is an enchanted necklace Emrul made for me.” Veeris pulled a sapphire pendant from his pocket and put it gently around your neck before easily scooping you up into his mighty arms. Then he started walking with you right past the broken door and out of the house. You briefly considered screaming for help but there was no one out and about at this hour and even on the off chance someone heard your pleas for help and called the authorities they would never get here in time, and even if that did somehow happen how would Veeris react to your screaming? He could snap your bones without any effort. It was only a quick jog to the sea and when he reached the water’s edge he shed his antique style human clothing before starting the transformation back into an eel man, scales erupting on his arms and legs before his legs joined together and once more became his tail. He held you tight as he slithered into the water and swam as quickly as he could back to his lair. You instinctively held your breath but remembered the charm around your neck that would supposedly allow you to breathe water. It took a lot of will power to force your body to take a breath underwater, but you finally managed to do it and it worked exactly as it was supposed to. You could certainly use this to escape later. Veeris continued carrying you as he slithered into the large enchanted part of the cave. He took you into the cabin and, much to your dismay, stripped you of all your clothing. You tried to talk him out of it but he wasn’t having it, he insisted on getting you out of the wet clothing and bundled up in bed, you were sick after all and apparently humans were supposed to stay dry when sick as per your earlier worry about being exposed to the water while ill. He also insisted on cleaning you up and drying you off. The eel man took a soft rag and gently washed your body of all the water before bundling you up in the softest blankets you had ever felt and having you lay in the humongous bed. Veeris had never slept in a human style bed before, but this one was enchanted to support his full weight and made to dimensions to fit his full size. He found it very comfortable as he slithered into it, fitting you perfectly into his oddly warm coils. You had thought yourself free of this whole mess but now here you were, naked except for some blankets, snuggled up in the tail of a merman who was determined to prove himself to be a perfect mate for you. One day. Just one day and you would have been significantly farther. Not that that necessarily would have stopped him, but it might have. At the very least it would have given you more time. It was hard to go asleep with the massive man surrounding you, but eventually you did manage to get a few shaky hours of rest before waking up to something poking you in your thigh. You opened your eyes to find he was no longer coiled around you and instead spooning you, and his cock had gone erect in his sleep and slid out of his genital slit and was now leaking pre all over you. You feared the size of it, at least he currently thought you ill and hopefully wouldn’t try to mate with you. There was no way that thing was going in without at least some pain. You managed to suppress the urge to push him away from you, but you didn’t want to wake him up and have to deal with him. That task became impossible though when he began slowly fucking your thighs from behind in his sleep. You began shouting and struggling, but it did nothing to wake him. Thankfully whatever erotic dreams were leading to him to such behavior dissipated before he splooged all over you. He finally woke up, with his cock still between your thighs. He blushed and looked away shyly. “O-oh, I am so sorry my little angelfish, I… didn’t mean to uh…, well anyway your clothes are dry now.” But of course, he still had to dress you. You were there for several days, with each day seemingly getting just a slight bit better. You couldn’t stay sick indefinitely, what if he got his magic friend to diagnose you and tell you he was faking? He said her medical magic and remedies were species specific and she didn’t know how to heal humans, but what if he chanced it if you stayed ill? You couldn’t take the risk so instead you gradually acted like you were healing. The entire time he waited on you hand and foot, it was suffocating, he did not even take time to go hunt for himself. Instead he relied on the human food that grew there, even though it wasn’t what he was adapted to. He was overjoyed when you finally “got better.” And you were happy he did not have to be so smothering. No more being fed or bathed or watched over as if you were the most fragile thing to ever exist. When he finally left to go and hunt for the first time since you had been there you had to fight the urge to immediately make a run for it. You had no idea how long he was typically gone, you needed to wait a few days so that you could memorize his outside activities. Veeris, meanwhile, was so happy that his perfect siren had gotten well and was now staying with him. He considered all the time he spent caring for you to be a good substitute for your traditional courtship and dating. Plus every time he returned from any hunting or other necessary outings he always brought you back some gifts, a shiny stone or shell that caught his eye or other such treasures of the sea, and you always accepted and thanked him for these things. If that wasn't successful courtship he didn't know what was. It had now been days since your recovery from your "illness" and you felt that you finally had the ability to accurately predict approximately how long his outings would take. After he left, and when you had figured that he was far enough away as to be out of sight, you grabbed the pendant that allowed you to breathe underwater and started to make your way to the pool that led out of the cave. But in a tragic stroke of bad luck Veeris had found prey almost immediately right outside his den and was already on his way back as you left. Veeris was stunned when he smacked right into you as he was entering the tunnel back to the lair. After a moment of shocked silence he growled furiously and wrapped his tail around you tightly and hauled you right back into the tunnel you had just come out of. Fuck. Everything clicked for Veeris. This whole time you had faked illness to get out of your date with him. But that’s okay, he wasn’t above keeping you against your will. That was, after all, what he had attempted to do originally. You just had to be shown your place while he proved he was the only mate for you. Your fear in that moment was beyond anything that you had ever felt before, you had no idea what he would do or whether or not he would hurt you. Kicking and punching him did nothing to remove you from his thick coils, when he hauled himself out of the water he carried you aloft with the end of his tail and took you back to the cabin. Once there he slammed you hard into the bed, knocking the air out of you. “You were really going to leave me my wonderful angelfish?” He sounded as though he was on the verge of tears. “After all the gifts and how well I have treated you??” “Please just… let me go…” “NO! You’ll be happy here! I’m the only mate for you and we spent so much time together! I just have to show you, just give it more time and I will get you to love me back eventually, okay my siren?” Veeris was unstable, equal parts heartbreak, despair, denial, anger, and love. “I-I hate you, you fucking freak!” For a moment your anger at being kidnapped by this insane merman overcame your fear of him. You regretted it almost instantly. Such blunt words cut Veeris’ heart, causing him great cognitive dissonance. And he was also angered at you being so ungrateful, he had this whole little world in this cave tailor made just for you, when he thought you were sick he took care of you, and he always gave you tokens of love. Seeing the fury in your eyes you backed up until you were against the headboard. “S-sorry. I didn’t mean i-” He pulled you by the legs back towards him as you tried to get away from him. In Veeris’ mind you had to love him, at least on some level, it didn’t make sense that you didn’t. His brain couldn’t entertain the notion. You saying you hated him clashed with his belief and caused him discomfort and pain until he could resolve it in a logical manner. But now with a frightening smirk on his face everything fell into place. He had to utterly dominate you. You didn’t want an overly gentle mate at all times. You clearly wanted him to prove he was strong and worthy. And you were probably in denial about it too. It all made sense. He needed to overpower and ravage you until you accepted it. You flailed as you remained on your back, still being yanked towards him, all the while he stared at you with a very uncharacteristic grin. “V-Veeris?” Suddenly your pants and underwear were torn off followed shortly by your shirt, leaving you exposed under his unhinged gaze. Veeris bent down and used his insanely long tongue to lick all over you, from your neck down to between your legs. His large slimy cock and balls were now out of his genital slit and he was fully erect. The size of it truly scared you. “No! Please! Don-” You were cut off by that long tong plunging into your mouth and probing every inch, gagging you as it explored a bit down your throat. As he did this he coiled his tail around you almost unbearably tight. He broke the kiss and then positioned you to be turning away from him. You could feel his hot cock from behind begin to grind against your very much unlubed entrance. You instinctively flinched in anticipation for the pain, but it only made it much worse for you than if you had tried to relax. Veeris finally finished with the grinding and jammed his fat cock into you unceremoniously. It felt like you had been impaled by a molten spear and you screamed as loud as you could from the pain. It felt as if your hole was being ripped open with how much your body had to stretch to accommodate his dick. With each thrust into you it drove the pain deeper and deeper. Your body would have been shaking with the force of your sobs had you not been so tightly bound by his strong serpentine tail. But his sensitive body was made to detect any and all disturbances in water, so he could feel every sob and gasp and shake, he reveled in it, it was your body submitting to him. As he continued slowly fucking you he licked up all your tasty tears with his long tongue. You were such a beautiful sight, somehow made only more beautiful by your crying and pain. The hurt and trauma of the rape never turned to pleasure, he was not gentle, he was not doing this just for sex. He was doing it to completely dominate you so that you would understand that you were his mate and that he made the rules. He thought it was what you, deep down, needed and even wanted. Veeris refused to go fast, he wanted to savor every delicious stroke of his cock into your blood-lubed hole. You could feel the blood leaking down your thighs, mixed with his precum. You wanted to punch out, or kick, or at the very least hide your head in shame in your pillow to shield your tears from the world and block out the violation that was happening to you. But his body was tight around you, if he was railing you so violently you probably would have noticed the pain the bondage was causing. Veeris kissed your cheek with mock tenderness before whispering into your ear, “You cry so prettily for me my little siren~” Sharp teeth pierced your skin as he bit into your shoulder and then your neck. You blacked out from the pain right as Veeris pumped load after load of hot burning cum deep into your raw abused depths. You woke up over a day later all bandaged up and with a salve that had been inserted inside you to help you heal. Veeris was nowhere to be found. You even called out to him as loudly as you could, though your throat was sore from all the screaming from the day before. No response. You made sure your breathing pendant was still on you, which he foolishly didn’t remove, before hobbling to your feet. You almost collapsed due to the pain, but you pushed past it. Only one short, albeit painful, swim separated you from freedom. You weren’t broken yet. You were crying, your heart was beating erratically in your chest with anxiety, but you still had hope. You could make it. You got to the submerged part of the first room of the cave, your feet at the edge of the water about to step in. Veeris popped up with a splash before you even put a toe in the water. It had all been a test, a trap, he was going to train you to never dare leave one way or another. “Sorry to have set you up like that, but it is the only way you are going to learn your place.” As he slammed you back on to the bed you were kicking, screaming, and blubbering far too incoherently to make out any words. You were sure he was going to rape you again, his cock impaling you and filling you with the worst kind of pain. But he had something a bit more brutal in mind. Your terrified mind couldn’t even comprehend what he was doing as he held your leg with one hand and your leg with the other. Veeris sneered down at you as he twisted your leg in one direction and your foot in the other. There was a sickening snap as he broke your ankle. You screamed louder than you did even when he was fucking you. Mercifully you passed out from the pain and Veeris saw to your injury. He may have taken some pleasure in dominating and hurting you, but he didn’t actually want to cause you harm, didn’t you understand you were making him do these things? No matter, One way or another you would learn you would learn to never try and leave him.

(Don’t) Face Your Fears: Part 2
Yandere Merfolk Straw Hats x GN!Reader
1.8k words
Part 1
This is the second part to that merfolk story I wrote before that I retroactively added a name to once I realized it wasn’t just going to be a one off.
Despite several members of his crew wanting to come with him, the river cutting through your island consisting of freshwater meant that only Luffy could go. Sure, Franky did build what was essentially a mobile saltwater pool that Luffy could use to bring some of them along, but he didn’t have it nearby and Luffy wasn’t willing to wait.
He wanted to see you again, and he wanted to do so now.
Being a bull shark had many perks, and he was currently using two of them. One being the coveted ability to swim in both fresh and saltwater, and the other being an impeccable sense of smell. It was best in water, but this island was so small that he could easily follow your trail. An awfully long trail, he noted. You are quite the runner! Usopp would have some stiff competition if you were merfolk, too.
Your unique scent came to a head, bringing Luffy to a halt. Pulling himself up onto the river bank, he sniffed the air to confirm that you were nearby. Somewhere in the house not far from where he is to be exact. A sharp grin spread across his face. He was right! You do live near the river! This will make getting ahold of you much easier.
Before he could pull himself fully out of the river, someone exited the house. Not just any person, but you. Luffy quietly slipped his upper body back into the river, leaving only his head poking out of the water.
Your footsteps drew closer, stopping slightly upstream from where he was. Once there, you dropped onto the ground and buried your face in your hands. Luffy watched curiously as you groaned loudly and scowled at the river when you pulled your hands away from your face. Is this a human thing? He’s intrigued and inches closer. Humans have awful night vision, he isn’t concerned about being noticed before he wants to be.
“I can’t believe this. Months of work wasted because I just had to run into merfolk during my first trip into the ocean,” you muttered under your breath. “What kind of stupid bad luck is that?”
Bad luck? You meeting and coming to their rescue was good luck! Great luck even! Luffy frowned at what you said. He knows he startled you earlier, but he thought it was just because you were surprised to see a merman up close.
Did you just… not like merfolk?
Why not? He can guess that he was the first merman to ever be so close to you. How could you come to dislike people you’ve never really gotten to know? That doesn’t make any sense. If you were willing to help people despite your obvious discomfort, then surely you couldn’t be a hateful person.
An idea suddenly clicks in his head. Other humans must be telling you awful things about them!
Nodding with resolve, Luffy swam even closer. When he was right in front of you, he launched himself out of the water and wrapped his arms around you. You immediately tried to scream, but he was prepared for you to do that after your last interaction and slapped a hand over your mouth.
You kicked and thrashed in his arms, and it only increased as he began pulling you into the water with him. You’re definitely not weak, he’ll give you that, but you aren’t stronger than him either.
By the time he settles back into the water, you’re hysteric. You’re still trying to scream for help even with his hand in the way, and he can feel hot tears streaming down onto him. That makes him feel a little bad about what he’s doing. He doesn’t want to upset you, he just wants to show you that merfolk aren’t anything to be scared of.
“Calm down, I’m not going to hurt you!” If you heard him, you made no indication that you did. You were still fighting him hard and digging your puny human claws into his arm. What were these people telling you that had you acting this terrified?!
Luffy became distracted as he picked up on more scents and heard doors being opened. It would seem that his hand wasn’t keeping you as quiet as he’d hoped, especially not with how much you were splashing in the water. Looks like you two are going to have to leave.
Pushing off, he hastily makes his way down the river and towards the ocean. You probably wouldn’t listen if he told you to hold your breath, so he settled for swimming with you balanced on top of his chest. This was easier said than done. Between swimming upside down and your squirming, he wound up dropping you into the water.
Bizarrely, you went from doing everything to get away from him to desperately reaching your arms out to his figure and holding on for dear life. Luffy pulled you back up onto him, patting your back as you hacked up the water you’d inhaled. Much to his relief, this experience seemed to have settled you down somewhat.
You didn’t look happy by any means, but you weren’t fighting against him anymore, so he considered this a victory. Seeing that there wasn’t anyone around, Luffy decided to try talking to you again, “Hi! I’m Luffy!”
“Please don’t drown me!” You sobbed, “I’m sorry for whatever I did to make you mad, please don’t kill me!”
Drown you? Kill you??? Luffy is completely bewildered by your pleas. Sure, he did drop you just now, but that was an accident! “Whoa there, no one is going to kill you! I’m sorry I dropped you, I didn’t mean to.”
“Then what do you want from me? Please just let me go, I promise I won’t tell anyone about this!”
What’s got you so damn freaked out? He doesn’t get it. How dangerous are the people around here that you’re so horrified by him? Does every new person you come across try to harm you? That must be the case.
“I wanted to see you again! Also, I want you to join my crew! You seem really nice, so I think you’ll fit in great,” Luffy beamed at you, not paying attention to how you recoiled from his teeth.
“Join your crew?! Are you insane?! I’m not one of you!” You spat out incredulously.
“What’s that got to do with anything? We don’t mind tugging you around in a boat,” Luffy didn’t really get why you were being so argumentative about this. He already told you that he’s not going to hurt you, what’s the hold up? These other humans must really have you brainwashed. Good thing he’s here to save you from them!
“I don’t want to be pulled around on a boat in the middle of the ocean, I want to go home!” You shrieked while frantically peering around to check your surroundings.
Much to Luffy’s relief, he’d finally made it out of the river and into the ocean. Once he’s gotten you away from this awful island, he’s sure you’ll calm down and be more willing to listen. You’ll love all the other crew members after you get to know them, he just knows it! You won’t even want to go back to this pathetic island after they’ve made friends with you.
“You’re back already? Could you not- You’ve got to be kidding!” Sanji surfaced and swam straight at you two. “You really thought it was a good idea to drag them out here just like that?”
You cringed away from the new shark and looked like you were about to faint. Luffy couldn’t help but puff out his chest in pride as you clung onto him, obviously a part of you recognized that he could protect you.
“I had to! Other humans showed up, and I couldn’t just leave them all alone there!” Luffy nuzzled his face into your hair, choosing to ignore the way you shuddered from the contact. You’re probably just a little cold.
“That’s bullshit! No one came out until after you dragged me in!”
Sanji’s eyes narrowed at Luffy, “This is why we didn’t want you to go alone, you have no tact!”
“Like you would have done any better! You would’ve just creeped them out if you’d gone,” Nami jabbed. Sanji sulked away, not even attempting to plead his case. Nami, on the other hand, swam closer to you, eyeing you up curiously. She reached out to experimentally tug on your wet clothing, not paying any mind to how uncomfortable you looked.
Chopper was the next to appear. You were definitely surprised by his appearance, but seemed more confused than scared by him. The doctor went right up to you, visibly concerned, “Luffy! You can’t just drag a human into the water like this! It’s cold enough that they could get hypothermia if we don’t get them someplace dry soon!”
You latched onto this immediately, “Y-Yeah, you should take me back to shore before I get sick!”
“Don’t worry, I got this covered!” Franky pulled a self made boat over, “It’s not much yet, but I’ve got biiiig plans for this thing.” The boat in question looked like a small house boat. There weren’t any doors on it, just an open three walled structure for shelter.
“Oooh, good thinking, Franky!” Luffy happily approached the boat and heaved you onto it. The second you were out of his arms, you scrambled into the walled off part of it. You stared at them with wide eyes with your back pressed up against one of the walls.
More of his crew appeared, wanting to get a good look at you now that you weren’t actively running away from them. With each head that popped out of the water, you curled in on yourself more and more.
“Are you sure this is a good idea? What if other humans come after us to get them back? Don’t we have enough enemies already?” Usopp was hanging back, still skittish about this whole idea.
“Of course it is! They’re our friend now, so we’ll protect them!” Luffy pulled himself up onto the boat while you shrank back even farther. He turns to face you, grinning even wider than he already was, “Don’t worry about all those awful humans on that island, we won’t let them hurt you!”
“What are you talking about? Everyone there is-”
“Very dangerous and spreading lies about what merfolk are like! You don’t need to say anything, I already figured it out,” Luffy nodded proudly.
“You didn’t figure shit out, you maniac!”
No one listened to you, and there was a chorus of groans from the merfolk. This was hardly anything new to them, humans always assumed the worst of them.
Admittedly, Luffy didn’t have a long term plan for what to do with you yet, but he’s already made it this far without ever making any plans. Everything will fall into place soon enough, and you’ll learn to be grateful for his extremely considerate rescue.

Yandere Scientist
Imagine being taken care of by a yandere scientist...
Lev was a down on his luck scientist. He had been obsessed with marine biology since he was a young boy. Researching various forms of aquatic life, it was his passion. So when he got out of college and got a job as an assistent at one of the biggest marine biology facilities in the country. Slowly climbing the ranks until he became a researcher of his own.
But he felt the passion slowly begin to die. It wasn't the deep sea expiditions and discovering long forgotten species like he had expected. Instead it was mostly busy work. Look at these scales, watch this video, go to this lecture. It was a drag. Nothing like the life he wanted for himself. And he couldn't escape it. Life felt like a drag...
He just wanted to end it all...
Than something unexpected happened. He was doing his standard report on his recent findings when he got a sudden call from one of the higher ups, the ones who rarely spoke to anybody. They told him that he was selected for a top secret project and wanted to know if he was in. His curiosity got the better him and agreed, filling out all the NDAs and paper work immediantly. What could be so important that he needed to sign all of this?
He was escorted to a new lab, being told it was where he would be staying for the forseeable future. He was confused by what assignment he had been given. But than he saw it. He saw you...
In a small holding tank was a creature he had only ever seen in myth. A large fish like tail that appeared to have been torn up with large gashes in the tail and a ripped caudal fin, all wrapped in water proof bandages. Or at least the best they could wrap it. But from the waist up was a person. They looked human, except for the scaled texture on various parts of their skin, the webbed hands, and fins in place of ears. They were scratched up there as well, with wrapped up arms and even a damaged facial fin. They were a merfolk.
One of the higher ups told him the story. How a group of fisherman went to a new area by their home to fish, but when they went to leave something had gotten caught in the propeller and when they looked again there was just a large thing of blood. They believed that you had gone to investigate the new boat only to get caught in the propeller when they went to leave. Which left your body scared and damaged. Though they had no confirmation, mainly due to the fact there seemed to be some kind of language barrier. With the merfolk only speaking in chirps and chatters, leaving them unable to get anykind of information out of you.
So that just left Lev's new job. He was meant to take care of you until your body healed while also observing you. It was a nice change of pace from the boring life he was used to, and there was something so thrilling about being on an assignment that so few people knew about. But he didn't expect thing to change so much...
There was something about you that just made him feel alive. Maybe it was your cute face or childish curiosity. There was just something there that he adored. He could spend all day watching you. Just witnessing you play with the various bath and water toys he had bought you in his off time. And he couldn't stop the ache in his heart whenever you struggled. Having to stop swimming when the pain in your tail became too much to bare, or when you're unable to control your swimming due to your damaged caudal fin leaving you to bump into the glass of the tank constantly. He just wanted to stay by you, he just wanted to care for you. You were all he had anymore...
So when he was called into a meeting with the higher ups, he was in shock. They believed you were healed as much as you could on your own, and it was time for them to step in. That some of the scientists had been making a prosthetic tail fin, something meant to replace your caudal fin. And that once you got the hang of the prosthetic they'd let you return home. He couldn't believe it.
When he got back to his lab, he threw everything on his desk to the floor. They couldn't do this to him. Not after everything you two had gone through. What did they think would happen? Did they just plan to chip you like some kind of animal and let you back out? You were almost killed once already, they were just throwing you back into the jaws of death. You hadn't even been around danger in months, almost a year. You couldn't function on your own in the cold dangerous ocean. You couldn't function without him. And he couldn't function without you either. You needed eachother, what would you do seperated?
He was snapped out of his thoughts when he looked over at the tank. How long had his hand been pressed against it? But that wasn't what he cared about, all he cared about was your webbed hand on the other side of the glass. Pressed to the same spot as his. A broken laugh spilled from his lips as he pressed he cheek against the glass, tears in his eyes as he spoke to you. Uncaring of whether you could understand him or not.
"I-I knew it. I knew you felt the same. You don't want to go back to that cold dark place. You want to stay with me too. I just know it. They won't take you away. They can't take you away. I'll take both of us out of the picture before I let them rip you out of my arms. My world. My life~..."
