(Also not me, trying to write a fanfic where they first meet at the Galactica decommissioning ceremony and then fall in love. Adar regrets losing her, especially to an aging soldier he deems unworthy and socially inferior.

He even insults them, saying she's playing a matador, messing around with a Tauron bull, and trying to SA her. But she punches him in the face (because Bill taught her boxing skill), and it's all caught on camera. Suddenly, she's the talk of the town, praised for defending herself against assault and becomes the new face of #metoo.

And Tauron people all become fans of her because she chose to defend her Tauron partner and chose him over the frakking President of the Twelve Colonies himself. And baby Kyliegh Curran as Lenore Usher, may or may not be their granddaughter from Lee and Dee, who's so close to and loved by her grandparents <3

Does anyone else feel like The Gilded Age is two shows, one with the Russells and the old money duking (ha, see what I did there?!) it out for dominance and then an entirely different show about Peggy Scott, except that the Peggy Scott show gets like maybe 5-9 minutes of every episode?

AKA, that last episode with the near-lynching as the B (C?) plot to the dinner party and wedding will-they-or-won't-they storylines I found rather...jarring.

Currently reading: The Nameless Ones by John Connoly (it's a crime thriller that I started reading for the incidentially gay assassins and it's great. But if you've got dwarfism, just be aware that one of the only characters who has the same condition feels really 'othered') & To Paradise by Hanya Yanagihara (tragic, self-desctructive gays so far. Lots to say about class, colonialism and self-identity. There's a revolving door of MCs but I have to say this woman does unlikable main characters very well).

Last song: Anon -Dorian Electra (this artist would be a national treasure if America wasn't such a treasure trove of bigotry)

Last series: What We Do in the Shadows (mockumentary-supernatural-queers needs to be its own genre)
