Up to this day, I had considered the accordion the least sexy instrument in the world

It just struck me that narrative wise, Morgott having a heavy tail and Mohg having large wings may not have been a completely random choice on the part of fromsoft....the omen twins were both shackled to the ground in the sewers, one of the two still heavily worships the guilty system none the less. Morgott clearly toiled to keep the crumbling status quo a float, draining him. The tail could represent that he is still shackled in spirit.(Look at his tail 😭)
But the other, Mohg, possesses so rebellious a spirit, his wings symbolizes a strong sense of independence and freedom. Man got out, and unlike his brother said fuck yall and flew away.

what people don't get about hualian is that they're literally like. jock and alternative art student. xie lian lives like a frat boy (mattress on the floor and nothing else in his room, no standards for his own well-being, can't cook and ends up eating what could be classified as biohazards) and is really enthusiastic about fighting as a hobby. meanwhile hua cheng rocks up to the function in his cunty little outfits every day of the week, bells on his boots and the red eyeliner slayed, obviously has taste but is soooo in love with his boyfriend who only ever wears cargo shorts and the most fucked up questionable hoodies you've ever seen. hua cheng wants xie lian to have nice things but it's always like. "babe i promise it's no trouble can we please get you a bedframe??" nd xie lian is obviously so enamored with his cool alt boyfriend who wears skirts sometimes and never misses a beat on a bitchy comment that's just the way it is. basically if your hualian concept doesn't have hua cheng as the hot goth gf you just don't get it

Part 2 :0 ||part 3
Oh my gosh I am so impatient 😭 anyways another little traditional comic test using my copics and stuff. This is where the dads meet a certain musician. Can you guess which one?
It’s funny cuz I wanted to buy a spiral sketchbook for this type of stuff and I got two for $10, plus they were 40% off. And then I got new liners cuz mine were dying for $7 and THOSE were also 40%. I spent a total of $12 which is a HUGE deal. Unfortunately the quality isn’t as good with the sketchbooks 😅 as you can see, the copics reeeeally bled into the lineart so that is gonna be a challenge, but it’s not biggie! It’s not meant to look perfect anyway! Maybe I need a thicker line but for now I must suffer
Anyways the dads are so silly to me. I love them. Leon is kind of a pain to deal with here, but you’ll understand why soon enough. He has a reason he’s acting this way 🤌

I think one of the problems with booktok (and there are many) isn’t that they’re reading YA books, it’s that they are 1) reading BAD YA books and 2) not reading anything else that challenges them. Because reading YA isn’t bad or doesn’t make you stupid. The problem is when you have grown adults who ONLY read books meant for teenagers and then go around proclaiming them literary masterpieces. I am a well-read young women who reads a wide variety of books, but you know what, I adore Six of Crows and The Hunger Games. I’d say that those are both genuinely well-written YA books with something to say, (especially THG) but even if they aren’t, that’s fine! Not everything has to make you contemplate life. But—and you can call me pretentious here if you want to—you should be at least occasionally reading things that make you think/match your level. Because no shit that people have bad reading comprehension skills and impose an absolute black and white morality on everything when they’re only reading Coleen Hoover or ACOTAR or whatever YA book is popular right now. And this isn’t to say that there aren’t good YA books, because there are. (SOC, The Hunger Games, and The Book Thief come to mind). The problem is just that those books are still for teenagers at the end of the day. You do need to challenge yourself just a little bit. Pick up Wuthering Heights or something. I don’t know! Maybe I’m just a pretentious bitch, but I’ve said my piece.

shitposts but it’s just stuff my students said today:
“DID you guys KNOW there’s an entire SECOND Korea??? And they have ONE LEADER like CHINA????” <- I mean damn I’d be pretty shook too if I ever discovered an entire country hidden in plain sight
“The monkeys came back down the mountain to my other school and we all had to lock the doors and windows again.” <- As if this is a normal thing that happens everywhere?
“IT’S MY MOM’S BIRTHDAY!” <- but he says this every day???
“Sometimes I make my mom angry and she goes outside and takes a long walk.” <- love the confidence with which this was delivered, no notes
“What’s skibidi-do-dah?” <- oh no

I have just discovered the offensive reality of straight people A/B/O through Bridgerton fanfics—truly a misogynistic patriarchal reinforcement of gender stereotypes that horrifies me to my soul.
Straight people should not have access to this trope, they have no concept of how to use it. Like, if you’re determined to do a “family legacy” thing for the Bridgertons, they’re all horny Omegas looking for love.
However, if we’re being more INTERESTING with it:
Simon/Daphne should be Beta/Omega, and you could use Simon being a Beta to play into his daddy issues.
Kate/Anthony is Alpha/Alpha, anyone who tries to make Kate an Omega is out of their fucking minds. Also, that is a woman who wants to fuck her husband, let’s be so for real.
Penelope/Colin would be the actual Alpha/Omega dynamic but Pen is obviously the Alpha. Colin wants to be good for her SO BAD. I don’t make the rules. (Except I DO and I’M RIGHT).
John/Francesca are a couple of autistic Betas who just want the crazy Alphas and Omegas to leave them out of their messy drama so they can be quiet nerds together.
As for Eloise and Benedict, there’s a few options.
Eloise as an Alpha or Omega can be used to explore how that effects her as a woman in 19th century regency who feels like she SHOULD be able to do the same things as her brothers but is restricted either bc she’s a girl (Alpha) or bc she’s an Omega, and how that’s affected by her internalized misogyny (against omega girls for example). Could also contribute to her and Pen’s friendship dynamics—if she’s an Alpha, as a bonding point for not quite fitting, but if she’s an Omega you can make it a like she thinks Pen being an Alpha is cool/is envious of her.
Benedict I feel like you could argue for any secondary gender and make it interesting, cause that’s the kind of character he is. But I think most interesting would be making him a Beta to really play into the way he’s trying to find his place without having a set role in his family.
Have I put way to much thought into this? No, I literally came up with this as soon as I thought about it, it’s so easy and way more interesting than “the boys are alphas and the girls are good little omegas bc i hate queer people and prefer to write boring uninteresting worlds and dynamics and fetishize terrible gender stereotypes”.
The only way ur allowed to use A/B/O for het couples is if ur messing with the secondary gender shit. Otherwise it just feels inherently misogynistic and homo-and-transphobic to me.
