Akitaru Obi

- Obi likes to think he's a nice cross between a serious, strong willed leader and a fun guy to be around - and he'd be correct in his assumptions.

- He doesn't take himself too terribly seriously but also knows when and how to command authority and as such, has experience handling all sorts of personality types; so meeting someone as even tempered and reserved as (Name)?

- Truthfully, it's almost like a breath of fresh air .

- He approaches her like he approaches anyone; with kindness and a warm smile, careful not to startle her out of her book but speaking just loud enough for her to know he's addressing her.

- Somehow, she's still a bit jumpy despite his approach but he makes sure not to draw any attention to it, introducing himself with an outstretched hand, patiently waiting for her to take it. They're pretty fast friends and from then on, it's like they lean towards the other's company more than they realize.

- It's subconsciously grained into them a few months after meeting; Anytime they're in a room together one will gravitate toward the other, sitting or standing, exchange glances and smiles all the while, even during team meetings.

- She just feels... really seen with him. And very safe.

- And she's always incredibly attentive, able to scope out his emotional state with pinpoint accuracy, even when he's trying not to make a spectacle of it.

- In fact, they soon realize how much emotional support the other provides, mere seconds later realizing just how much the other means.

- He wastes no time confessing his feelings.

- "-And I know this might be sudden, but I'd very much like to take you out to lunch some time. Honestly, I think you're a real catch (Name), and I'd hate to miss out on the opportunity. Life's too short."

- The confession is so forward yet well meaning it sends (Name) into shock; a blushing, stuttering shock.

- But he waits patiently, albeit slightly nervous, for her reply; it's a yes, of course.

Takehisa Hinawa

- Hinawa is...a very no-nonsense individual, one could take a single look at him and tell.

- It's because of this fact that he actually strongly prefers someone a little more reserved than most. That said upon meeting (Name), he was convinced that if the infernals didn't eat her alive, the rigorous Fire Force training would. To his surprise, he was dead wrong. In fact, she excelled.

- She was capable of taking out swarms of Infernals in seconds with expert offensive abilities partnered with spot on defensive capabilities. She was tactical and focused, something he noticed many of his peers lacked even on the battlefield. He grew to respect her prowess, honestly.

- "Excellent work out there, (Name)."

- "!!!"

- She gasped loudly, startled at the approach of the man and his seemingly random compliment.

- He watched in disbelief as she subconsciously backs into a wall, facing him, face reddened.

- He doesn't necessarily lose respect for her, but he certainly thinks twice before approaching her unexpectedly again - not hard for him at all, but she does feel pretty bad for overreacting.

- Works up the nerve to apologize but also stumbles into a very unexpected confession.

- "...Th-that is to say... I respect you as a Lieutenant and-,"

- "So am I wrong to assume you want a pursue a romantic relationship?"

- "Um...!"

- (Name) is at war with herself for a few more moments and he sighs, running a hand through his hair with the tiniest blush, gaze averted somewhere to the side.

- "...I only ask because I myself might be interested..."

- It's... less than romantic but (Name) can tell it took him a lot to say it. She could tell they'd be taking their time in this thing, together.

A/N: Fire Force and Mha are so ingrained in my head rn, so expect a lot of fics, if I have the time. Also, expect super long hcs cus I love this brain fart I had

•Your Little brother suddenly succumbed to the Spontaneous Human Combustion when you were a teen, and the fire soldiers didn't put him down with a prayer, and treated him as a statistic in their game.

•Ever since then, even if you had an ignition ability, you never joined the Special Fire Force.

•Until one day, your boss became an infernal. You tried to put him down respectfully, but you were too weak.

•He blasted strong blows at you and you fell back into the arms of a person. You recognized him. Lieutenant Takehisa Hinawa of Fire Force Company 8.

•"Stay Back!" He took out a gun. You recognized what seemed to be a nun's habit flash past.

•You heard the famous prayer.

•"The flame is the soul's breath"

•"The black smoke is the soul's release."

•"Ashes to Ashes, dust to dust."

•"Return this soul to the raging flames."

•The lieutenant finished the prayer. "Latom." And finished the infernal too.

•You tented your hands.

•"Are you ok?" The sister, whose name you eventually found out is Iris, asked you.

•"Yes sister." You walked out of the building like nothing happened.

• But, in a nearby alley, you collapsed, presumably from smoke inhalation and burns on your body. Unluckily, you werent that flame proof. Luckily, the lieutenant caught you.

•Once you woke up in the hospital, you saw the lieutenant sitting beside your bed.

•"Don't stress yourself alot, Doctor Huang's healing might've kicked in by now"

•"But What is your name?" He asked.

•"Oh, It's Y/N L/N."

•"Any ignition ability?"

•"Yeah, Third Generation."

•He stood up and was going to walk out, but you held his hand.

•"Thank you for taking care of me, Sir."

•"No problem. It's a fire soldiers duty after all." He walked out.

•You thought to yourself; "He's Handsome, I guess."

•He admitted to Obi that he has taken a liking to the person he saved a few days ago.

• After finally seeing a company of the Special Fire Force respecting the infernals that they put down, you joined them.

•You had been training In Company 4, after all, but the death of your brother kind of stopped you from joining.

•Hinawa was genuinely surprised to see you there, as he knew your reason why you didn't want anything to do with the Fire Force.

•He introduced you to Captain Obi, who asked you to explain yoir ignition ability to them.

• " My third generation ability allows me to create anything in my imagination. It can generate a barrage of arrows, and I can shoot them from the crossbow I can form."

• You made Irises for sister iris, and she delighted at them.

•Hinawa looked at you intently, and noticed some things that weren't really noticeable if you didn't have a good eye.

•You had a burn scar in your left eye, from your brother, and green eyes, which glowed when using your abilities. Your eyelids get little wrinkles whenever you smile. A lot more.

•He enjoyed doing menial and trivial things with you. Things like cooking made him manifest a slight whisper of a smile.

•Thats when he realized, he had a crush on you? When he told Obi about his conflicting feelings about you, Obi just laughed it off.

• "Hinawa, You like them, end of story, HHAHAHA-" he stormed out, blushing.

•You were doing your paperwork, when suddenly Lieutenant Hinawa barged in. You stood up and saluted.

•He sat down beside you, and took a pile of the paperwork you were finishing.

•Lieutenant! You don't have to do that! I'm fine!" You grabbed the pile from his hands.

•He looked at you with those steely orange eyes. At that moment, your feelings burst out without warning.

•"Lieutenant Hinawa ! Do you want to go out with me!" You immediately regretted those words and hid under your desk.

•"Sure, Y/N." He smiled. And blushed.

•That's it, you had been in a relationship with the TAKEHISA HINAWA for FIVE YEARS.

•He was actually an angel with an even angelic smile.

•One day, you were in a mall shopping when the infernal alarm went off.

•Since you were the only fire soldier there, you looked for the infernal. Unlucky for you, it was a demon infernal.

•After a few minutes of fighting, you had been heavily injured fighting the infernal. Company 8 had arrived and assisted you.

•Hinawa had widened eyes when he saw you. He had you taken to Company 6's hospital immediately.

•The Company had driven as fast as they could to the hospital, but as soon as they saw captain Huang coming out of surgery with a solemn face, they knew you were in bad condition.

•They had been given permission to see you, and when they saw you hooked up to dozens of tubes, Hinawa sank and held your hand.

•"Brother? Is that you...!?!" You said faintly.

•"No! Call doctor Huang!" You were bottoming out. Your vitals were going slowly down.

•Doctor Huang ran into the room and tried everything. But,

•"Im sorry lieutenant, but not even the rod of Asclepius is strong enough to bring her back."

•Hinawa always tried to keep his composure, but this time he faltered. Tears fell from his eyes and he remembered the promises you mad eto him, promises that were thrown out the window.

•He mourned you for a long time, longer than he thought.

•But he quickly got back to work. It wasn't the same without you. There was nobody that ate the cabbage in his bento anymore. He didn't have anyone to make an extra bento for, he does it out of habit.

•He keeps your desk clean. Clean as it could be. He even eats your favourite food now because it reminds him so much of you.

•But, he delights in the thought that you and your brother are reunited, wherever you may be.

a/n: Hi! This is pt.2 to this post but you can read it as a stand-alone! Hinawa lives rent-free in my mind and so does Fire Force. The manga ended recently, so that gives me hope for season 3 soon... maybe

t/w~long headcanons for no reason :(

after you guys got Maki, Iris, Shrinra, and Arthur things actually started to feel real

like wow, you're actually putting infernals to rest and doing real lieutenant things like paperwork...

lots and lots of paperwork...

obviously, you knew there would be documentation you had to fill out as a lieutenant, but this much???

while Maki, Iris, and Captain Obi would be done at a reasonable time similar to a 9-5 job Shinra and Arthur are no help, you and Hinawa were not so lucky.

it turns out that being a lieutenant means you deal with all the paperwork that someone like Captain Obi doesn't have time for, and is above everyone else's positions.

this on top of maintaining all the equipment meant you and Hinawa worked many hours into the night alone together

it was always at midnight when you realized how happy you were that you and Hinawa got along so well.

you two would spend hours talking and then hours in comfortable silence

Hinawa is painfully aware that this task would take significantly less time if you two skipped the talking, but he didn't mind the extra time put in to talk with you.

he especially appreciates the extra time you two have together now that there are other crewmen to take some of your time and not to mention the infernals...

sometimes Hinawa will get up from his seat in the office and make a trip to the kitchen for some coffee and your favorite drink.

when you ask him how he knows what your favorite drink is, he says that because you drink it so much throughout the day, he'd have to be dumber than Arthur (no offense bby) to not know it.

this is when you realize that the sarcasm that used to be frightening to you is now quite charming.

Hinawa doesn't immediately define this as something so trivial like having feelings for you.

oh but Obi does...

anytime it's just Hinawa and Obi together, expect there to be teasing.

it gets worse, one day, Iris and Maki overhear the Captain and they think Hinawa's little crush is the cutest thing.

they always wink at him or nudge him when he's talking to you or even just sitting next to you.

this man is not amused.

in all honesty, Maki and Iris think it's a joke.

how could the stone-cold lieutenant feel anything so lovey-dovey for anyone? let alone his co-worker?

but Obi sees how Hinawa looks at you, how he really only smiles when talking with you, how you would describe him as a completely different person than everyone else would because he opens up that much with you.

Hinawa, however, is dence.

so out of ignorance or stubbornness, he denies his feelings.

even Shinra, Arthur, and Tamaki catch on before he does.

but let's not forget about you...

oh how things would have been so easy if you were just some airheaded rookie...

but no, you were a lieutenant, a parental figure to the whole team(which yes, only makes you and team dad even cuter together and yes I will be writing a fic about this)

so you were plenty aware of his feelings for you before he was, whether that be through his actions or catching on to the teasing, you were not stupid.

you just wish you were, because then maybe the waiting wouldn't be so hard.

let's backtrack a little, OF COURSE, YOU LIKE HIM BACK

it wasn't something that hit you in a flash and suddenly you were head over heels for him.

your fondness for Hinawa grew over time and bloomed into something you could see yourself living with.

you quickly realized that you would have to make the first move.

yes it would be scary but you face the worst this world has to offer every day, how much worse could this be?

so much worse...

one late night while doing paperwork, Hinawa brings you your drink and a snack.

once he settles back into his seat, you decide that this is the time you're going to tell him about your feelings.

unfortunately, no matter how long you stare at him peering down at his documents, no words come out.

so you, wanting to get this over with, decide to just get the words out there.

"Hey, so..."

he immediately glances up at you. he makes it a habit to look directly at people when they are talking to him, which is something that you admired, but not so much at this moment, as this simple gesture of respect from him was rendering you speechless.

seeing you immediately look away, he responds "What's wrong, y/n?"

oh god, how you love the way he gets straight to the point without dancing around the subject.

you know just how thin his patience is, so you decide to get on with it.

"Do you... have feelings for me?"

he pauses for a moment, still looking up at you, and gently places his pen on the desk.

"I suppose you could call it that, yes."

there is a comforting silence between the two of you that lasts just long enough for you to collect your thoughts.

"I understand that given our professional relationshi-"

"Shut-Up!" you cut him off, giggling to yourself.

you can tell from the look on his face that he is confused and you're gonna have to elaborate.

"I like you too, Hinawa. And, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but this place is far from professional."

this is the first time you've seen Hinawa genuinely shocked. like full-on shook O_o

with your head in the clouds, you just sit there with a goofy smile watching him try to look at anything but you while he processes what just happened.

when he gains his composure he innocently grins and asks you the one thing you've been waiting to hear for weeks now. "y/n, would you like to go out with me?"

"I would love to Hinawa."

for the rest of the night, you and Hinawa steal glances at one another with warm smiles and giggles and not much work gets done.

eventually, you succumb to your fatigue from the days work and decide to call it a night.

you stand up and slowly make your way to the man sitting across from you and bend to meet the side of his face.

"Goodnight, Hinawa." you softly whisper over his cheek before placing a soft kiss on it.

this is the second time you've seen him genuinely shocked, but you're too tired to observe his reaction.

instead, you make your way to the door and just before you walk through the doorway Hinawa blurts out "Thank you." in a deadpan.

you turn back, a bit confused, and then try and fail to stifle a laugh.

mans was just being polite <(｀^´)>

I just feel like this man will be so possessive over Company 8 kitchen. Like, you could ask if he need help and he’ll be hesitate on if he need your help or not. Which sooner after pouting those plump lips he love of yours, he’s handing you some vegetable to chop.

Due to you being a foreigner, he always ask questions about cultural food you make back in your home country. Now you’re promising to call your mom to ask her if you can borrow the recipe to your favorite cultural dish.

You getting the first taste of what he’s cooking

Quick pecks on the lips when he’s cooking because frankly you’re lowkey distracting him while he’s cooking

Shoulders brushing against each other slightly as you’re side by side cutting up vegetables

Eventually you give up helping because he seems to have in control of cooking for everyone so you just admire how attractive he is while he’s being the most sexiest chef ever.

“Why are you staring at me?”

“Because you’re looking like a whole meal.”

“What?”

“Taste this.” He would say holding out the spoon for you to try what he was cooking for the team.

Your head that was buried into a cookbook that Takehisa wasn’t even going by shot up with a quickness. You waltz over to him, cookbook in hand as you taste the delicious meal from the spoon. You couldn’t believe how wonderful of a cook he was. “Shinra and Arthur are going to eat all of it.” You joked.

“Please feeding them is like feeding a volleyball team.” He rolled his eyes causing you to chuckle.

Gosh, you loved this man.

Hehe of course Anshi! I hope you like these, I’m sorry if they’re not very good 😅. Its been a while since I’ve done HC’s and I haven’t done any for a date before but I hope you like them ☺️! (I also have your other request almost done hopefully i’ll have it finished by next week hehe)

Hinawa:

• Even though you couldn’t tell, Hinawa was a bit nervous when he decided to ask you out! To you and everyone else he seemed normal, although a little more tense, but otherwise he seemed pretty normal.

• So when he finally came up to you one day and asked you to go on a date with him you were pleasantly surprised and had said ‘yes’, and for a split second you saw relief in his eyes, but it quickly disappeared.

• Hinawa would probably take you out on a hiking trail or somewhere like a botanical garden as a date, since he loves nature and you seemed to like it too!

• If you didn’t really care for nature or gardens then he would let you decide where you two would go (such as a movie or an amusement park), as long as he spent some time with you he really didn’t care where you two went!

• Hinawa would be a perfect gentleman I think, although he would be a bit stiff and unsure at first since it had been a while since he had been on a date. But after a little while he would start to loosen up I think.

• Hinawa would probably open doors for you, would let you order food first,would compliment the way you looked, and he would tell you to decide where you wanted to go for the second half of the date.

• If Hinawa saw you do something cute (ie; you two went hiking and you saw a cute baby animal that morning) he would probably be a bit surprised at first, but he would smile softly and couldn’t help but think how adorable you were in that moment.

• The way you smiled so brightly and the happiness Hinawa saw in your eyes when you saw the baby animal made his heart skip a beat, his eyes widened just a bit, and all he could think the rest of the day was how cute you were and how he always wanted to see that smile on your face no matter what!

• To end the date Hinawa would take you to your favorite restaurant and would tell you to order whatever you wanted. After the meal you told him how, in your opinion, that his cooking was better than the restaurants he couldn’t help but feel a swell of pride and satisfaction at your words. Here he had been, giving you compliments all day, and you come back and give him one of the biggest compliments of all.

• After your date and Hinawa took you home he walked you all the way to the door, because he wanted to make sure you got there safely, and it was a bit awkward at first. Neither of you really knew what to do next, although you both knew you didn’t want to say goodbye, but you sadly had too. Hinawa would give you a small smile, tell you goodnight, and just as he started walking away you leaned up and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

• You told him goodnight and that you wanted to go on another date when he was free next, and all Hinawa could do was nod in agreement before he watched you walk into your home and close the door softly behind you. Hinawa felt his cheeks burn slightly, he hadn’t been expecting that, and the normally stern Lieutenant had a small silly grin on his face the entire way back to Company 8. He almost couldn’t wait to take you out on another date!

domestic life with beni is… pretty much lazing around most of the time tbh

if he comes home from work and has nothing to do and you dont have anything to do either,, the two of you would just lay around the couch not rlly doing anything

then you’d probably just heat up yesterday’s dinner and have a nice quiet night in

despite being lazy most of the time, benimaru actually helps out a lot

he’ll help clean dishes, do laundry, get groceries, etc.

he’s also a rlly neat roommate and prefers to keep things organized

like he’s not a total neatfreak but he’s just,,, not messy (?)

anyway,, another extra benefit of living with beni is wearing his clothes

on weekends and days you stay home, youd just take one of his shirts/uniforms and wear it around the house

theyre actually rlly rlly comfortable

plus they smell like him

he loves it whenever he sees you in them,, thinks ur the hottest thing ever

on those days, he’d be extra affectionate and overall just very ~moe~

most of the time he isn’t too clingy tho

he understands you need ur personal space and so does he

but ofc he’ll still give you at least a kiss good morning and a kiss goodnight every day

some days tho,, he’d be especially clingy and will want to just stay home and cuddle all day

when it comes to just the two of you tho,, hinawa is the one who mainly cooks and cleans

and there’s no complaint there cuz his food is *chefs kiss* delicious

youd always offer to help with the dishes tho and him being him will just do them alongside you,,,, mostly cuz its “faster” and “more efficient”

in truth he just likes being by your side and doing these “mundane” tasks

i also feel he’s the type to leave notes around the house

like a little post it in the kitchen saying he made you breakfast (check the fridge/microwave)

or a note saying that you guys ran out of [whatever] and he was gonna buy some

or even reminders like ‘dont forget you have a doctors appointment today’

hes just rlly cute and he loves you and he feels bad cuz sometimes work takes too much time out of his schedule for you but he knows you understand and akjsghkj

on days hes free tho, he doesnt rlly mind what you two do, he just wants to spend as much time as possible with you

so whether you want cafe dates or kitchen dates,, he couldnt care less

and even tho he seems pretty cold n all that,, when you two are at home its not rare for him to ask for hugs, kisses, or cuddles

also you guys have a dog

cuz apparently he likes dogs and you two impulsively decided to adopt one when you visited the animal shelter

hinawa loves that dog and feeds and grooms it with care

you guys also like walking it around or taking it to the park during your time off

He is getting up at the ass crack of dawn to be productive and no you cannot get him out of this routine

While you’re in the shower, she would be doing a face mask and washing her teeth. While she’s in the shower, you’re washing your face and outside the bathroom doing your hair.

a bit of background, Obi recruited you directly after Hinawa so until Maki and Iris got there, it was just you three

when you three first got to the fire cathedral, it was a COMPLETE DUMP. like Shinra thought it was bad when he got there? nah, you're pretty sure the building was just barely up to code.

so you, Hinawa, and Obi had to clean it up enough to be livable.

(i ended up writing a whole fic about this pls... I'll update this later when it's finished ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و)

It took a while to get used to Obi's obsessive workouts and Hinawa's overbearing maintenance routines, but soon these little quirks became charming and made you all friends rather than just co-workers.

Once the building was decent you and Hinawa started training because what else were you going to do? you didn't have a sister to perform the prayers so company 8 couldn't actually put infernals to rest yet.

your days consisted of searching for a sister and other crewmen, training with Hinawa, making lunch with Hinawa, eating in Obi's office, training more with Hinawa, taking a shower without Hinawa :(, cooking dinner with Hinawa, eating in Obi's office, and sleeping.

training consisted more of talking than it did actually training which, both of you knew would catch up to you later but neither of you seemed to mind.

by now he had already told you about his time in the military and about why he joined the Fire Force

I think if you had also lost somebody and could relate to him through that, it would only make you two even closer.

He taught you about gun safety(awoooga ¬‿¬)

you would ask him to tell you stories about his time in the military and he would start by saying how boring you'd probably find them.

you start babbling about how cool the military is and how cool he is

(Headcanon) Super Fluff!: Benimaru, Obi, Hinawa, Karim x Reader As a Cat

What your life as a cat would be like if your owner was Benimaru, Obi, Hinawa, or Karim.

Original Request:

A/N: I made this as fluffy as I could XD Reader is a different kitten for each one. :)

Benimaru

How you met:

-He was sitting out on the patio in the backyard of the guardhouse, taking a break from filling out boring paperwork while snacking on some fresh mochi.

-He was about to take another bite when he heard something rustling in the bushes and paused to look over towards the tall wooden fence.

-He could hear something faintly meowing, as he leaned forward and squinted his eyes.

-You had wandered in from your owner’s yard, which happened to be home to the same grandma that had made him the mochi.

-That’s when he saw a small fluffy ball of half-light grey and half white fur, crawl out from underneath the bushes.

-When he called her over to take you back home, she said that her son had recently gotten you after getting married, but it turned out his wife was allergic to cats and had no choice but to look for a new owner.

-The grandma said she was simply too old and frail to take care of a cat, and had insisted that Benimaru was somehow destined to be the one to take care of you.

Random Facts:

-At first, he liked being left alone in peace and quiet when duty wasn’t calling him, and actually wasn’t too keen on keeping something that would keep nagging in his ear for attention.

-But to his surprise, you were actually a good nap buddy.

-Whenever he would lie down to get some shut eye, you would quietly circle around your spot once, before curling into a ball and cuddling up against his side or climbing onto his chest, sometimes letting out the occasional yawn before you closed your eyes and drifted off together.

-He also thinks it’s cute how you stretch out your arms and limbs after waking up, and he’ll actually ask you if you had a good nap.

-If you did: You’d meow, and he’ll pat your fur from the middle of your forehead down to your tail.

-If you didn’t: You’d let out another yawn, and he’ll tell you to go back to sleep with him.

-Both of you like it when he lets you crawl into his haori, riding shotgun to wherever he has to go next (that is kitten safe of course).

-You guys played hide-n-seek once and he got worried when he turned the entire guardhouse upside down and still couldn’t find you.

-You actually fell asleep in the laundry basket when Konro found you.

-That’s how you ended up with a little golden bell dangling from the middle of your light blue collar.

-He thinks that dried cat food is like eating dried rabbit poop (idk how he knows this), and that wet cat food smells like spoiled fish.

-So he has Konro make your daily meals with only the freshest and healthiest ingredients for his, “little princess.” (He named you “princess” but only adds the ‘little,’ when you’re both alone, because everyone else would guarantee not to let him hear the end of it if they did.)

-He likes feeding you the juicy and sweet strawberries from the center of his daifuku, to which you happily oblige.

-He likes staring at you while playing with your ears.

Obi

How you met:

-Despite how he looked, he was more of a cat person.

-He was at the local pet store to pick up more food for his pet goldfish when he saw you speeding around the other cats in a game of tag, in the little playpen the store’s owner had set up near the entrance.

-He liked how this adorable creamsicle-furred kitten was so carefree and happily playing around with its friends.

-You were like the little ball of energy he needed in his mundane bachelor life.

Random Facts:

-He likes how your brightly colored fur looks even more orange in the sunlight.

-He got you an orange colored collar to match the color of your fur and the fact that you liked the smell of oranges.

-You like it when he feeds you wedges of sweet tangerines from time to time.

-He named you “mittens” because of your fluffy white paws.

-You like sitting on his stomach or on top of the barbell when he’s working out.

-He got you your very own cat wheel so you work out with him.

-He always buys you the newest cat toys.

-You like riding on top of the Roomba when it’s vacuum day.

-You like it when he takes you to work with him because Shinra and Maki are the only ones besides Obi, that can keep up and play with you until it’s time to go home.

-You like bathing in the sunlight while he’s out on the front yard or at the beach, trying to get his tan on.

-He’s actually pretty good at skateboarding, and you like riding between his feet on the board.

-He’s trying to get you to ride with him on a surfboard, but you don’t see that happening any time soon.

-You earned the nickname “speed racer,” from the time you were running around the office and zoomed across all the desks, sending the paperwork flying all over the place.

-Both of you like it when you’re both at home sitting on the sofa and he puts on a good action movie.

-Both of you agree that the “Rush Hour” movie series, are your favorite movies to watch over and over again.

Hinawa

How you met:

-Your previous owners had turned infernals and sadly died when company seven was the ones to put them to rest.

-Hinawa rescued you from your burning home.

-You were feeling scared, lonely, and sad as Hinawa carried you out; and the way you looked up at him with your big round eyes, he couldn’t bear to give you up to the local animal shelter.

Random Facts:

-He named you “angel” because of the disaster you miraculously survived, and because of your pure white fur.

-Hinawa lets you pick your collar for the day, between either the white or pink one, both with a small metal heart hanging from the middle.

-He was patient with letting you adjust to him and your new home.

-He actually took a week off from work to spend time with you.

-You loved the smell of the delicious food he would cook both at home and at work, and had your own designated space on the counter so you could watch.

-He would place your homemade cat-friendly food in the pretty dishes he had bought for you.

-He would always say that, “taste is half the battle, the other half is presentation.”

-You like crawling under his hats and walking around with them.

-You like crawling around his paperwork and keyboard when he looks like he could use a break.

-He sighed at first, but found it cute how you walked into the stamp pad filled with black ink, and left your paw prints all over the place.

-He likes uploading photos onto the company website, of just you, or with small random objects on your head.

-Both of you like it when you nap on his lap while he’s reading manga at home or at a manga café that allows pets.

-If they don’t, he’ll try to sneak in with you under his hat, claiming it’s a hat that happens to look like a cat is sleeping under it.

Karim

How you met:

-His neighbor’s cat had given birth, and he went there with the intention of only dropping off some blankets he no longer needed.

-He kneeled down to spread them out onto the ground, when a new born kitten with fur that looked like a caramel mocha latte, shakily crawled towards him with its eyes still closed.

-“Aww, I think she likes you.” Karim wasn’t the best with animals, completely disagreeing with the owner’s statement; when you decided to crawl onto his lap, and meowed so preciously.

-He sat like an ice sculpture not knowing what to do, when the owner scooped you up in her hands and showed Karim how to hold you.

-When you licked his face and purred as he held you, he was in kitty love.

Random Facts:

-He took FOREVER trying to come up with your name.

-The old man that was in charge of engraving a pet’s name on their collar at the pet store, said it was confusing if Karim kept repeating the same name on the collar, and because 20 letters would no way fit.

-He finally settled on “brownie,” because of the color of your furred patches.

-He bought you a grayish-blue collar because it matched the color of his hair, and added a little sparkly star accessory to your collar.

-He asked the veterinarian almost a 100 questions because he had no idea of how to take care of a cat.

-He isn’t as nervous as a wreck as he was before with taking care of you.

-After a few years, you were just the right size to crawl from one of his shoulders to the other, and settled on sitting on his head.

-He could watch you run around his room all day.

-Both of you like it when he lets you lie down on his pillow, as you curl into the crook of his neck, and he turns on some soft music for you.

-Though he can’t feed you chocolate like your namesake, he’ll feed you frozen berries and thinks it’s cute how some of the juice from the berries got on parts of your white fur; making you look like a “berried kitty berry.”

-Captain Burns has a big soft spot for you, and likes to play with you when he should be working.

When (Y/N) finds abandoned kittens beside the building, she begs her teammates to keep them.

‘’Come on, (Y/N) ! What takes you so long ?’’ Arthur groaned, waiting for the girl to accompany him outside. He had planned to go shopping, and since only (Y/N) was available to go with him, he needed to wait for her. ‘’Look ! Kittens !’’ She said, holding a box. ‘‘There’s no letter or anything. People must’ve thought we were normal firefighters again.’’

Indeed, the 8th Company members were used to people calling them for animals. Thus, (Y/N) guessed that someone had found kittens outside and had decided to give them to her company. ‘’What are we supposed to do with those ?’’ Arthur asked ; he didn’t care much about animals, unfortunately. ‘’They’re too small to live on their own. They’re only 3, we can keep them.’’

The blonde sighed. ‘’Why can’t we put them in a shelter ?’’, ‘’Because they won’t get adopted soon ! And the closest shelter is kinda far anyway ; they have to stay at least for today.’’ Seeing that (Y/N) wasn’t giving up, Arthur simply told her to ask the others if they could keep the kittens.

Sister Iris, Tamaki and Maki were all excited to keep those kittens -even forever- even though Shinra was just questioning it. What would they do with kittens ? It’s a workplace in here ! ‘’Well, if it helps you feeling better and thus have a better work performance, I’m not against it.’’ Obi said. The girls gasped, happy. ‘’Thanks Captain !’’

Then, he cleared his throat. ‘’However, I’m not the only one who makes the decision. You also have to ask the Commandant.’’ The girls’ expressions changed. Of course he was going to say no ; they knew that Hinawa would never agree to keep a pet in the firehouse. ‘’Maki, you’re friends ! Ask him !’’ (Y/N) said.

The brunette pushed her, since she wasn’t holding the box anymore. ‘’You, go ! I’m scared of him ! And he looks like he likes you the most !’’ (Y/N) groaned. ‘’Why are you saying that ? Of course he likes you the most !’’ That’s when Maki’s words escaped her lips. ‘’Because he always praises you when you’re not here and wants to work with you whenever he has the occasion !’’ She gasped and put an hand against her mouth.

‘’Sounds like a crush to me.’’ Tamaki said, Iris nodding. ‘’Of course not ! He only likes my work performance ! Still, it doesn’t answer our question. Someone has to go.’’ Seeing the girls turning to him, Arthur raised his hands. ‘’Not me, I was supposed to go in town before you included me in your mess.’’ He was grumpy, but the girl didn’t care. ‘’Why can’t you ask, Captain ?’’ Obi blinked a few times. ‘’Why are you all so scared of Hinawa ? He’s not going to bite you.’’

Shinra frowned. ‘’He did shoot me, though.’’ Obi sighed. ‘’I have work to do. He will disagree, anyway. I’m sure if one of you asks him he might say yes, though. You girls can act cute and stuff. Maybe it’ll work.’’ Tamaki groaned. ‘’On him ?! Never !’’

After a few minutes of arguing, the girls forced (Y/N) to go. Meanwhile, they sent Arthur shopping for cat stuff. He was grumpy, but he finally got the occasion to go outside, even though Shinra was now the one who had to accompany him. (Y/N) walked to Hinawa’s workroom -where he was repairing equipment and stuff, holding the box. The kittens weren’t asleep anymore, since they got petted.

‘’C-Commandant ?’’ The girl asked, shyly ; she was sure he would refuse. Hinawa didn’t turn to her. ‘’You can come in, (Y/N).’’ She did as he told, and put the box on a table. That’s when he turned to see what it was. ‘’What ?’’ He asked, unsure. Thus, the girl explained to him the whole story. ‘’You know that we can’t keep pets. They’re messy. They’ll make the place a mess whenever we’ll be outside on a mission.’’

(Y/N) whined. ‘’But Commandant ! Captain said it would help us have a better work performance if we’re happy.’’ However, Hinawa didn’t flinch. ‘’It will be a source of distraction.’’ As he said so, a kitten jumped out of the box to walk on a pile of papers. ‘’See ?’’ The girl gasped while her colleague took the papers away. ‘’I’m so sorry Commandant ! It’s just that I’ve been missing my family’s cat since I moved here and you know, cats can be very affectionate ! It’s always the 8 of us -and sometimes Hibana- and we need something to feel better. At least I need to.’’

Seeing Hinawa unfazed, (Y/N) added : ‘’And Captain isn’t against it !’’ Hinawa sighed. ‘’Look, (Y/N). I know you miss your cat. But we can’t adopt 3 of those only because of you.’’ The girl nodded, understanding. She put the kitten back in the box with its siblings, and started to walk away. However, Hinawa heard her sniffle ; she had started to cry.

He stopped what he was doing. ‘’Hey ! Why are you crying ?‘’, ‘’I’m not.’’ He sighed. ‘’Come back here.’’ She put the box on the ground, used her hand to whip her tears away, and walked back to her Commandant. ‘’Why are you crying ?’’ He asked, once again. However, his facial expression had changed ; he looked worried. ‘’It’s just that I really really miss my cat. And I know it’s not the same as Shinra missing his family or you missing your friend but I was used to her everyday since elementary school and I miss her.’’

Hinawa spoke up. ‘’Why do we need those cats then ? It’s not yours.’’ She sat. ‘’I don’t know, I just need one. You don’t know how it feels to scratch a cat’s head after a long day when you’re exhausted, and hear it purr.’’ He chuckled at that. ‘’You have a big lack of affection.’’ She furrowed her eyebrows. ‘’And what about it ?’’ The man smiled at her question.

‘’We can keep them until we find them a family. However, I don’t want them to stay here forever.’’ (Y/N) nodded, thanking him at least 12 times. She smiled, whipping her tears, and that also brought a smile on Hinawa’s face. ‘’And if I see that it’s not that much of a mess with those kittens, I’ll allow you to have one, someday. But you don’t tell that to anybody.’’

That said, she jumped to hug him. ‘’Thank you Commandant !’’ Embarrassed, Hinawa looked away, pushing her. ‘’It’s okay, it’s okay... go back to work now.’’ He sure really liked her work performance and that was the only reason why he was praising her all the time and also why he had agreed to keep the kittens.

obi: physical touch and quality time

the type of guy who would want you near by when he’s working out, he always asks you to sit on his back when doing push-ups and y’all normally hold a conversation

he loves receiving hugs from you after a long day, he would hold you tight and kiss you softly

hinawa: acts of service

he’s a very busy man so it always makes his heart skip a beat when you do some of his tasks for him

when he’s on his way to service the vehicles or clean up and he see’s that it’s already done he smiles knowing that you beat him to it to lighten his load

maki: words of affirmation and physical touch

it no secret that she’s a lil insecure about her muscles, so she likes it when you complement them on join her in on her workouts

she loves it when you hug her and kiss her cheek, or when you walk around carrying her bridal styling treating her like a princess, she especially loves when you kiss her muscles while hugging her it makes her feel happy and more secure about her body

iris: receiving gifts and quality time

she loves spending time with you no matter what it is, it could be y’all doing a chore together or a simple date in town

she also loves receiving little gifts and giving them too, the type of person who would give you rocks and flowers, not to be rude with the rocks she just thought it looked neat and that you would like it, and vise versa

arthur: physical touch

he loves holding your hands and fiddling with your fingers, but if you do the same to him his cheeks become a light pink cause he’s a lil embarrassed

he loves hugs from you out of the blue, right then and there you can feel his little knight facade disappearing and in your arms he’s just arthur boyle a guy who loves you

shinra: words of affirmation

he loves it when you call him your hero, he gets all happy inside and feels like he was able to protect the person he cares for the most

when you tell him that you’re proud of him or that he did a good job after a battle he smiles at you and calls himself “does-the-best-man”

vulcan: physical touch and acts of service

he loves it when you go out and get new parts for him or lend him a hand in his workshop, when you go out and get him new parts he always tells you that you didn’t have to but always accepts it with a smile

he loves it when you kiss his forehead cause he feels like he has someone who’s close enough to him to make him feel at home, when you kiss him after he rambles on about an invention he made he gets a little embarrassed and attempts to recover from it

viktor: acts of service, receiving gifts and quality time

he loves it if you get him new lab supplies when he just mentions he needs some new ones, he wasn’t even hinting at anything it was the truth

when you get them for him he asks if you wanna stay, when you accept the offer y’all sit in comfortable silence as you watch him finish up his experiment and when he finally finishes he cheerfully explains the process to you, he wouldn’t mind if you asked a question here and there while he was working either
