He walked out, wearing a new set of the academy uniform. Paid for by the Plinths. I wonder what the hell did good ol' Coriolanus do to deserve the Plinth fortune.

"How do I look?" He asked Tigris, who was sitting in the dining table. She had a solemn expression on her face, and was seemingly sharing my sentiments.

"You look just like your father, Coriolanus." I imagined that hurt him. Or maybe it didn't. I don't even know him anymore, honestly. My heart dropped when he turned to me.

"You, Y/N? how do I look?" He looked at me so eerily, like I was seeing an old children's horror story come to life.

"Who are you? You're not my brother." I turned away from him, and walked to my room.

"That's not the answer I was looking for, Y/N." He replied. I could sense the seething tone in his voice, the slightest hint of disdain.

"I don't even know who you are anymore, but you look great, Coriolanus."

I walked into my room and shut the door.

Those last words hurt, I surmise. But, it's better to spout lies that leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

Diner Dinner Fiasco

(Set in A Small Town AU for The Umbrella Academy)

Jane

"Hi love!"

I ran up to Marcus. I just got off my job and he just got off too. I'm so excited! We're having a date tonight at the local diner.

"Hi Love! So, how was work?" He asked.

"Dwight was being a bitch again cuz I didn't apparently comply, but other than that it was fine."

We spent the time walking chatting, oh you know what I mean.

Jayme

I noticed Jane and Marcus chatting? Of course, I listened in.

"So, are you excited for our date?" Janes honey-like voice flows out.

"Yeah! Of course!" Marcus kisses her nose.

They arrived at the diner.

Jane

"Welcome to Sax's! What can I get-oh. Hi guys." Sloane's voice ranged from happy to why-am-i-here. She lazily took our orders and ran off.

After a few minutes of talking, the food comes. A heavenly spaghetti and carbonara graced our mortal tables.

After we finish, I leave Sloane a tip and a note saying "Wash the dishes you jerk!"

When we walked out well, let's just say chaos happened.

I run up to Jane and Marcus and I grab Jane and kiss her. To my surprise, she kissed back. I pushed her against a wall until Marcus separates us and punches me.

Marcus

Jayme runs up to Jane and kisses her. The two push back into a wall and kiss for about a minute until I punch Jayme's face.

"What the hell Marcus!?!" Jayme responds with a punch back.

We started to fight.

Sloane

🎵 I'm washing the dishes....I'm wash-🎵

A bang interrupts my singing. I ran out and saw Marcus and Jayme fistfighting and poor Jane trying to separate the two.

"Stop! Please!"

Ben

"So, Chris, how was your day?" I asked the floating cube beside me.

"AE, ae, ae (It was fine.)"

We saw Marcus and Jayme fistfighting outside Sax's. We discreetly backed against a tree and watched the debacle go down.

"Do you see this shit Chris?"

After about a second, Sloane came out and tried to stop the two, but she got thrown down the entryway.

"GO QUEEN JAYME!" We screamed in unison. The trio paused their fight and looked at us two. Needless to say, we bolted.

"See you next week! " I walked out of the Ice Cream parlor. That. Was Ronda. The most boring woman, even more boring than Sloane.

I was walking home from a meetup with my friend. Whom- I already mentioned, is the most boring person in the world.

Well! Marcus and Jayme are fist fighting. I let out a quick ; "BEAT HIS ASS JAYME!" Before running out of there.

But, wait. Sloane was unconscious? I pulled her body to my house and let her sleep there.

That definitely made my boring day.

I was ALSO working at Sax's when a bang interrupted me. Sloane ran out to

I put down the pan and ran out. I saw Jayme and Marcus fistfighting and Sloane getting dragged by Fei.

"Stop! STOP! YOU TWO!" I scream and put myself in the middle of the quarreling siblings.

Jayme punches me in the gut.

The last thing I remember was falling down.

Jane put herself in front of us and took many blows until she passed out. I grabbed her and set her frame gently on the floor.

"Call 911 Asshole!" Marcus frantically searched for his phone.

The ambulance arrived after about a minute. Jane was loaded into the back, with me and Marcus watching as it drives to the community hospital.

Well, me and Marcus forgot our cars and just, ran. Ran to the hospital.

After a long ass running session with my brother, we arrived, sweaty at the hospital front.

Marcus rushed into the lobby, seemingly asking a nurse directions.

Marcus

"Nurse! I'm looking for Jane Hargreaves' room!" I screamed at the desk.

"Room 492 sir, relations?"

"FAMILY!" I ran to the elevator. Shit! This thing is too slow. I fumbled with my phone, calling Luther, her older brother.

"Hello-Marcus?" Luther's voice answered. "Uh-Hey it's Marcus. Jane's in the hospital." I responded.

"WHAT? WHERE?" he screamed. "Oh the community hospital." I whispered. "I'll be right there!" He hung up.

After a seemingly long elevator ride, We got to her floor. I rushed down the hall until I got to her room.

She was sleeping in a hospital bed, with seemingly nothing wrong with her. A basket of fruits was at her bedside.

I put down my bookbag and sat down on the stool.

"Jane. I'm sorry about this. This, whole hospital thing. It was my fault, well technically it was Jayme's fault, but I just want you to know that, I love you ok. "

I grasped her hand.

"Oh! Thank goodness you're here!" Luther burst into the room, with a stack of papers and a fruit basket .

Luther

"What happened?" I asked.

"Well, Jayme kissed Jane and we got into a fistfight. But she got caught in the fire." Marcus' voice was small, with a sad tone in the mix.

"What?" I picked him up and pressed him to the wall. I stared intently into his eyes.

"We hurt her." He confessed.

"You did what?" I asserted.

"Well you can see the bruises Luther!" He pointed at the bruises on Jane's face.

"YES I CAN SEE IT DUMBASS!" I growled.

"Ok, let's let go of the fight boys. " The doctor walks in.

"May I ask the relations to Ms. Reyes?

"Brother"

"Boyfriend"

"Ok uh, Mr Boyfriend, can you leave us for a moment?"

Marcus walked out, disgruntled.

"Mr. Hargreaves, your sister broke a rib, but the doctors have already fixed it. Ms Hargreaves should be awake tomorrow."

The doctor assured.

Marcus ushered in after the doctor left. "Can we continue this conversation later? I'm tired." I pick up the papers and run out the door.

Marcus

"So, I'm going to tell you about my crazy work story..."

I frantically picked up the oranges. But I noticed that the person kneeled down and helped me pick them up.

"Hey Orange." He said with a smile. He's cute. But When I stare at him longer, I see more great qualities. His slightly crooked smile, his beautiful eyes, and his jawline. But a realization came to me.... oh shit. It's Marcus Hargreeves. It's the Marcus HARGREEVES. I quickly picked up the fallen oranges and stuff them into the grocery bag and bolted.

"Sorry!"

"Wait! Orange! Can I walk with you" He pulled me back to face him.

My cheeks turned red in embarrassment.

"So? What's your name?" I asked with glee. "Y/N " She responded.

"Wait Marcus- The streetlamp!" I crashed into a green streetlamp and probably got a minor concussion.

After a few minutes, we stopped at the entrance to her complex. She was entering when i stopped and asked her number. I gave her my phone and she punched it into my contacts.

"Are you really ready Y/N?" My mother Suyin whispered into my ear.

Hi, I'm Y/N Beifong. I was initially Kuvira's fiance and right hand. But when she fired the spirit cannon at me and my family, I immediately considered our engagement called off.

"Yes Mother, I am ready." I walked into her jail cell. I haven't seen her in months.

I was flanked at both sides by guards, but I requested to speak with her privately.

Kuvira

"Kuvira! You have a visitor!"

The visitor walked in. It was them. Their familiar Y/E/C eyes stared into my soul.

"Hello Kuvira. It's been a while." Their voice rang through my ears. That familiar voice shook me to the core.

"You don't deserve to call me that! Not after you almost killed me and my family!" They screamed at me. Tears were welling up in their eyes. It pains me to see them cry like this.

Today was the day I was going to be released into Suyin's custody. And the day I see Y/N again.

It was a few hours from Republic City to Zaofu. I enjoyed the sights on the way, but I also prepared myself to speak to them.

The people who greeted me were few, but precious to me. Y/N immediately ran up to me and hugged me. I asked how they were doing, and they said they were engaged. I immediately felt like my throat was pulled out. But I was just happy to see them.

Suyin showed me to a small bedroom, modest but cozy. She also told me that guards would be in front of my quarters 24/7.

Afterwards, she invited me to a small dinner.

When I got there, I saw them in dark green robes and metal shoulder plates. But I also saw them holding hands with a person, about their age, with twinkling silver bands lighting up their ring fingers.

It suddenly clicked in my head. That person was their fiance.

I managed to get through the dinner, sometimes talking to them and their fiance.

But when I got back to my quarters, I felt this pain in my heart. I felt jealous.

"Okay, is everyone ready?" Five was getting ready to save us from the apocalypse. I was holding Ben's hand and Klaus' shoulder.

When we traveled back in time, I dropped down with my siblings in an alleyway in the back of a store.

We found out we were in 1960, Klaus started a cult, Ben fell in love, yadayadaya, but I have here 2 stories to share with you guys! They're really funny.

So, me and my brothers were walking around our house when a member suddenly gifted Klaus a car.

It was pretty cool, so me and my siblings took it out for a drive.

Klaus wasn't a good driver, good thing me and Ben were already dead.

A few hours later...

After a few rounds around Dallas, a meal, a few little bickering sessions from my older brothers, a gas refill, and a sightseeing trip, we were finally going home.

I asked Ben if I could sleep while he hugged me, and of course, he said yes.

I was awakened by a loud scratching noise. I saw Klaus getting out of the car, and seemingly apologizing to a figure clad in blue robes.

After a few minutes, The figure came in to the car with Klaus with them.

Klaus said that the dude was going to join his cult and wanted to ask permission from the "prophet" himself.

We drove back to the house, and there, I fell asleep with my brother Ben beside me.

Okay, so. Jill was one of the original Destiny's Children. She was really pretty, and when I asked Ben if he liked her, he turned tomato red. As in, tomato red. He denied it of course, but I could see him chasing her around like a lost puppy.

I caught him following Jill around, sometimes helping her get stuff off the ground, picking apples for her, all the lovey-dovey stuff couples do.

I teased him about it, a lot, a LOT LOT. I used to tell him that Jill has a boyfriend, just to spite him.

One time, I saw him sitting with Jill on this mini bridge, while they watched the sunset.

I really wished Ben was alive in that moment. I wished that she could see him. Because I saw the spark between them, and how he really loved her.

Hi! I'm Y/N Hargreeves! And I have 6 awesome siblings! There's Luther, my oldest bro, there's Allison my big sister, there's Klaus, who is the funniest, there's Five, my apparently 53 year old brother, there's Viktor, and then there's Diego.

After my dad died, me and my siblings got chased by these two doggy people with guns and these men with weird gas masks.

We had went to the bowling alley to hide from the scary men. Luther had gotten me pizza while they were planning something.

And suddenly I felt a pain in my chest.

Diego

"NO! NO! NO!" I ran to my little sisters side and quickly tied up her chest with a handkerchief. Five and Luther were fighting the men while I asked Allison to cover me.

"It hurts Diego, it hurts...but can you please see the sunrise....for me?" Was her last words. The last words of a person that died too young.

We had to leave her body though. She was too much of a burden to carry.

When I told my siblings she had died, some of them cried, some of them, including Five, were holding back their tears.

I slowly opened my eyes. I saw my dead brother Ben. "Am I....dead? He nodded his head. I quickly ran into his arms and gave him a hug.

"Hi, Y/N, it's nice to see you." He whispered. I felt a chill of comfort run down my spine. That's what my brother Ben does you know? Makes you feel comfortable anywhere, even in ghost form.

Diego

We found a safe spot to hide for the night. When it was almost sunrise, I sat next to the window and said; "It's beautiful isn't it, Y/N?"

Y/N

Although my brother didn't know it. I was watching the sunrise with him.

"It is beautiful Diego."
