I remember when you were posting about your Kim/Wik Twins AU and I was so hooked! There’s so much potential for angst in this AU😩🤌 I always wondered if there was anything new going on with this WIP.

PS: I’ve been following your blog for a little while (I don’t interact bc im shyy) and I love all your Kimchay WIPS and little excerpts you’ve blessed us with (they make my day everytime I see one). So I want to personally thank your brain for all these wonderful ideas and just thank you for being you 😊

Oh anon, you're a darling! This was so nice to wake up to <3 I actually haven't worked much on that AU since originally posting it, but you're right, there is so much angst potential in this AU between Wik and Kim. One of the inspirations from it actually came from World of Warcraft, and how the character Varian was split into two people, the other one being Lo'Gosh. I really loved how it wasn't just "this is the good side vs. the bad/feral side." Varian was polite and charming and good at socializing, but he was also vain and easy to manipulate (which was the point of splitting him), whereas Lo'Gosh was definitely a barbarian, but he was also all of Varian's strong will and ambition/motivation, and passion. I hadn't seen that kind of character splitting before, because it's usually an easy shorthand for doing a good/evil thing.

So for the purposes of this fic, Kim isn't just all the evil mafia while Wik is the sweetheart singer. Wik is very driven and tbh a little selfish, he's kind to his fans but ultimately very cold, because he grew up in a world where anything he cared about could be used against him. Both of them are still calculating in clever, but it's Wik that begins investigating Chay, intentionally using his stardom as an in, and purposefully manipulating him to get more information. He takes it to a stronger degree than we actually see from Kim in the show.

Whereas Kim is the quieter, more contained side. They both love music but Kim prefers guitar/piano over singing because he doesn't want to draw attention to himself the way Wik does, although he does write a lot of poetry/lyrics. One of the betrayals from Wik leaving is that he stole Kim's songs. The other is that he left Kim behind. He loves his brother more than anything, and Wik leaving him without so much as a goodbye was devastating for him.

Here's your slightly less than 500 words!

“You left me!” “Would you have even come with me?” Kim’s voice breaks on a desperate, “Yes!” He wants to take it back as soon as the word leaves his mouth, too honest in the heat of his moment, chest heaving with the weight of it. The only good thing about the admission is that his brother is too stunned to reply; Kim takes satisfaction in that, in the implication of it, as Wik realizes the depth of his own selfishness. “Kim…” “I would…” Kim swallows. Days of captivity have left his throat dry. It hurts, speaking these words aloud, tearing them out of his chest to release them after all these years. “I would have. If you asked me to, I would have.” He would have followed his brother anywhere. They were always meant to be together. Kim and Wik, two halves of the same whole, mirror images down to their names. Until Wik decided he couldn’t bear his own reflection anymore. “Kim, I’m sorry, I didn’t know—” “How could you? You only ever think about yourself.” Kim laughs. It’s wet. It hurts, like everything else about this damned conversation. Maybe Wik was right; they were better off alone. “I thought you knew me better than anyone, but you don’t know me at all.” Maybe Wik never did. What a horrible time to realize how truly alone he really is. Wik doesn’t speak for a long time. Neither does Kim, keeping his head bowed and his breaths measured, cracked ribs aching with every rise and fall of his chest. What a cruel joke that the first time they’re sharing a space in years, something Kim has longed for since the day Wik left, and it’s only because someone else has forced them together. “I don’t think you would ever leave the family,” Wik eventually says, his voice quieter than Kim has ever heard it. “You’re not like me, Kim, you never wanted to leave.” Of course he didn’t. Why would Kim ever want to leave his brothers? But at least if he had, Kinn and Tankhun would have had each other. They wouldn’t have been alone, not like Wik is now. Not like Kim is, forever missing his other half. Neither of them were meant to be alone. "It doesn't matter anymore." "Yes it does. Kim. I never meant to hurt you. I—" But there's no more time to talk because their captors are walking in, and Wik is throwing himself in front of Kim, both of them bound and unable to put of any kind of fight. Not that it would have mattered; Wik already got himself kidnapped. Too nosy to stay out of the family completely, but apparently the idealistic fool didn't bother to keep up with his martial arts. Still. Despite blaming him for the current predicament, Kim is a little bit touched that Wik is trying to protect him now. Too late to matter, maybe, but it's something.

Yes! I’ve always envisioned Integra as a lover of the arts- especially traditional art? She seems like she’d enjoy a peaceful trip to an art gallery or museum. Sorry for the delay on this one, between work, the Summer games showcases and being sick I didnt do much besides veg out whenever i was free this week lmao Anyways! Have some Integra being soft because, dammit, she deserves it 😤

Integra definitely reworks her entire study so there’s room for her SO to work in the same space as her

Artist!SO will get a whole art corner with a beautiful custom easel and comfy desk space right next to the windows for optimal lighting and an inspiring view- whatever they need to spark and stoke their creative process

Would immediately say no if her SO asked her to model but secretly is super flattered. If they draw or paint her anyways, she’ll pretend to be annoyed but will cherish the hell out of it- They’ll find the work later tucked away in a safe place, framed safely so it wont smudge or crack.

Keeps a portfolio hidden in her desk of sketches her SO deemed not good enough and meant to toss. Alucard and Seras have caught onto this and actively keep an eye out for other loose drawings- they sneak them into her study between paperwork and folders like a fun little surprise. Seras finds her reactions soo sweet- its so hard to not say anything when she sees Integras eyes soften at the half-hearted sketch! So cute!

Integra finds the sounds of sketching comforting- that little scratchy noise as her SO absently hums to themself is like catharsis, especially when she’s dealing with a lot of stress

If her SO is sighing or muttering, having a tough time with conceptualizing something or is going through art block of some kind? She does get a little annoyed with it, but she understands.

Sets her work aside and comes up behind her SO to wrap her arms around their shoulders from behind. “If you sigh at it anymore im going to toss that canvas out the window. What’s the matter, love?” She means this entirely lovingly, but will absolutely do it.

Musician!SO would absolutely have a space in her study too- She’d move offices to a whole different room if the acoustics are good enough, she doesn’t care.

Maybe not the biggest fan of hearing her SO practicing a new peice of complex work- the repetition of practicing the same sections over and over to perfect them would get on her nerves after so long.

“Love, I adore you, but if you play that part one more time i’m going to lose it. Please, play literally anything else.” She means this with the utmost love and care, but hearing the same section over and over is killing her.

Adores when they play free form compositions. Just starting with a generally familiar melody and letting the music develop a life of its own? She could listen to them for hours. She will listen to them for hours.

Definitely will lose track of time listening to them play- Sometimes gets a little too distracted and zones out to the melody when she’s working on a particularly boring bit of paperwork. Before she knows it, its nearly dusk and she’s gotten little to nothing done. Honestly? worth it.

She cherishes her SOs hands so, so much. She knows how much of their passion is dependent on them and how devastating their loss or degradation could be.

In quiet moments Integra will softly trace the callouses on their hands, massaging their palms and wrists, setting a gentle kiss to the back of their knuckles- absolute reverence for the beautiful hands that can create so much that she loves.

Integra being soft with an SO makes my brain go fuzzy- I just want her to be happy dammit 😭

Miraculous cleaved AU Power Systems - Zodiac addition

so uh hi! im shwoop and this is my little (hah!) pet project! I’m gonna write dot jot notes here and some other necessary info for this au so if anyone wants to play in my sandbox.

( I used Not Dead Yet’s magic system as a template make sure to check it out after this !!! ) there will be more ml boxes!!)

- Rat (water( heart )yang) Miraculous of Cleverness and Community. Makes clones of herself and others but gets smaller for each one. peak power is a hundred clones able to lift twenty times her own weight. restraints are the more they split the more exhausted the user gets, others get disoriented when done to much

- Ox (earth (body) yin) Miraculous of Determination and Absorption. The most durable of the miraculous, the user is able to absorb 5% of all attacks aimed at them there final is reflecting it out in a single devastating attack. draw backs is that the user will feel far more pain than the others and his final takes time to charge

- Tiger (wood (mind) yang) Miraculous of Confidence and Amplification. The most intimidating/charismatic of the miraculous, only second to the dragon. their final is a scream that can stun, disrupt, or strenghen moral. restraints would be how long she can go on a single breath

- Rabbit (wood(mind)yin) Miraculous of Cycles and Time. An outlier, mainly because of the moon rabbit myth that had affected the creation process. they can use there control over time to speed themselves up or use there mallet as an extention of herself to cause an area affect. her power/time level shifts with the moon cycle making her weakest on a full moon( because the light reflected is the suns, not the moon)

- Dragon (earth(body)yang) Miraculous of Balance and Weather. this miraculous requires its users to have a clear head to avoid catastrophe and will boot the user out of their transformation if it see you as a danger to its self and others. the powersgiven to the user is the physical manifestation of whatever weather is occuring at the time. overtime the user could affect and prexisting weather

- Snake(fire(energy)yin) Miraculous of Growth and Intuition. I’m thinking the final would be clairvoyance, but not like random stuff or even shots of dead world(or timelines) but of pivotol character moments like how the hug between mrabel and isabela. restriction here would be up for interpretation. subtle plant manipulation

- Horse (fire(energy)yang) Miraculous of Movement and Migration. portal powers but I liked the feet feathers so much that the user can float for a little while too. restraints I dunno, has to picture where there going I guess. oh they have binocular vision so the untrained will feel super weird at the start so best time to fight these guys is at the start

- Goat (earth(body)yin) of Imagination and Dreams. the goat miraculous grants users the ability to astral project to the spirit realm even able to form weak constructs after practice. The con? it leaves your body defenceless and if you don’t return to it, the user will be stuck forever in the astral realm, the same will happen if someone takes the miraculous

- Monkey (metal (soul) yang) Miraculous of Curiosity and Pranks. basically ben 10...thats his power, being ben 10.

- Rooster (metal (soul )yin ) Miraculous of Discipline and Culmination. able to acess any possible ability to ever exist within the animal kingdom, but never able to unlock its true potential.

- Dog (earth (body) yang) Miraculous of Prudence and Reclamation. able to track, there final is a dig ability they can use that breaks through anything in their search for whatever was lost. their only able to use this ability once every transformation.

- Pig (water (heart) yin) Miraculous of Nurturing and Jubilation. I have yet to decide if it’ll be a gift or Not dead yets power of imunity, can’t it be both? uuugggghhh a decision for future me

hello gone series ppl i FINALLY found Light after searching like 7 bookstores for a month straight and finished it in record speed the second igot through the door anyway here are some of my thoughts because i remembered almost NOTHING going back into this book so this was allllll new to me again :0

(spoilers ahead!!)

Sobbed my eyes out at the end of course im a little baby wimp. Super glad the breeze got to kick ass a few last times cause i knew what was coming and knew it was gonna crush me lol. Did…….. not expect the whole ‘drake’s severed head in the cooler’ thing but i want to draw his fucked up ‘split-down-the-middle backwards halves of his head with a lizard fused between his eyes’ moment sooo bad because it sounds so fucking funny and its criminal theres no fanart of this i think. Gaia was interesting but i wasnt too big on her, but i was ALWAYS intrigued by the sections outside of the barrier. Overall i was pretty satisfied with the ending??? There’s definitely a few details id change here and there but overall i really liked the conclusion. and the astrid-diana-lana friendship may have also made me cry a little as well as diana going to live with sam and astrid… im so glad she wasnt villainsed after the fayz i think that wouldve been my final straw

Some things i’d been hoping to see more was a sort of final reconciliation between sam & caine before caine’s death, just as like an acknowledgement of. “u r my brother and u suck but youre making this enormous sacrifice and i will always respect you.” BUT emotionally i dont think i couldve handled a scene like that. Also more personal criticisms- why wasn’t there more upset or attention brought to jack or orc’s deaths???? considering how heroic and vital they were during Plague & Fear especially, idk it just kinda crushed me a little that people were so devastated about brianna (me too dw) that pretty much everyone else in there didn’t even seem to care about them :(

Now that i’ve finished rereading the main series its definitely piqued my interest in reading the Monster/Villain/Hero spinoffs - i know the ending and most of the stuff that happens and while i Do Not Like It and refuse to accept it as canon, im so incredibly curious to read more

Hey if skara and willow celebrate christmas, what would they do? Also im a huge skarlow fan as well^w^

Always love hearing questions from fellow huge Skarlow fans! It's always a delight.

As for the question, it's a bit out of season, but I love this idea a lot so I'll allow it!

The Boiling Isles doesn't really have a good equivalent to Christmas. The closest thing it does have is a Knabmas, a tradition where all the best thieves in Bonesburough steal as much stuff as they can in a single day (Eda is the only one who seems to know about this though, so the others take it with a molecule of salt). So, when the time finally comes, Luz excitedly introduces the Owl Gang to Christmas, her favorite holiday. She introduces them to everything, making a special point of explaining mistletoe and its own traditions (both Luz and Willow got a kick out of seeing their partners blush whenever the plant was around/whenever Willow made one).

Willow would be all about the ugly sweaters. I mean, unironically. She’d see all the worst, silliest sweaters and immediately throw it on and show it off with pride. But Skara doesn’t mind, since Willow likes to throw the sweaters over both of them to cuddle.

Skara would play the HECK outa Christmas music, especially when she can perform a rock cover for it. Her rendition of Feliz Navida almost literally blew the Noceda’s roof off (Skara’s now only allowed to have her instruments at a noise level of ‘incredibly low’ in the Human realm). Willow loves to listen, though, and Skara always finds/makes up a new Christmas themed love song for her each day.

Luz’s favorite part of Christmas is explaining a tradition Camila brought from the Dominican Republic: 'Un Angelito,' or 'Little Angel'. Sorta like 'Secret Santa,' everyone picks a name out of a bag, and whomever they draw is their Angelito, who they secretly buy gifts for on Christmas. It's something Luz is super excited about, given that she's now able to do it with a whole bunch of found family members. Skara’s lucky enough to grab Willow, so with the 20 dollars Camilla gave her for the gift, Skara vowed to get her girlfriend the best present imaginable! And she does find something super cool! A beautiful, glass rose, kinda like the one in that Human movie Luz showed them, Beauty and the Beast! She want’s to give it to Willow as the perfect gift, and she’s lucky! It’s only... ten times what Camilla gave her.

Meanwhile, Willow actually got Amity, and decided to buy her a new toy for Ghost. Unfortunately, Willow couldn’t afford much else she thought Skara would really want, like a new instrument or tool for one. The best she could do was a signing card, one that played some song, Happy Birthday? Whatever it was, it seemed just silly enough for Skara to like it. She felt a little guilty about it, but vowed she’d get Skara something better back on the Boiling Isles.

Later that evening, Skara decided to try and buy that rose for Willow! So, she decides to try something else she’s seen in human Movies: street performing. While preparing to sneak out after dinner, though, Gus spotted her. When Skara explained the situation, though, he was more then happy to help. He didn’t get to spend a lot of time with Skara, and if it would help Willow out too, what’s wrong with that? So, the two sneak out near the mall and work together, using Skara’s music and Gus’s illusions to try and earn the money for the rose. The two watch the money get thrown into Skara’s guitar case, and soon Skara proudly buys the glass rose for Willow! She rushes out of the mall to wrap it up at home... and trips on the way their. It crashes onto the ground, shattering into a billion tiny shards. Skara’s devastated, and she and Gus slink home to crawl into bed, now without any gift for Willow.

A short time later, Christmas day, and everyone opens their presents: Luz got Hunter a sleeping mask (’for when he ever decides to try it’ she jokes), Hunter gives Vee a set of non-magical tarot cards (Vee has a few dozen from their gf but she’s still happy with it), Vee got Gus a book on giraffes, Amity gave Luz a little stuffed otter (with a dark side). It’s an amazing day. But Skara doesn’t really have anything to give Willow, and she feels ashamed. Until she opens her gift, from Gus: all the tiny shards of the glass rose and it’s case, attempted to be forced together through magic and a little bit of human glue. He didn’t really know what else to get Skara, so he threw his own 20 into the case. But when he saw how devastated Skara was, he vowed to fix it, trying his darndest from it’s shattering till Christmas to fix it. So Skara hands the gift to Willow.

And it immediately shatters again.

Skara’s heartbroken and feels terribly about how much she’s wasted both Gus and Willow’s time. She decides she’ll just go off to bed until Willow stops her to give her the card she bought. Despite everything, Skara looks at the silly card with its silly song and laugh. She’s grateful for letter, something Willow’s ecstatic to hear, and Skara hugs Willow and kisses her face a thousand times over. She comes back and hugs Gus as a ‘thank you’ as well.

Later, during an After Christmas sale, Skara is able to use the extra money from the rose to buy Willow and herself a pair of ugly matching sweaters, which earned her a little mistletoe over her head by Willow.

Bonus stuff: Like all sane people, both girls love hot chocolate, and make a point to always drink it together. Skara likes to stir a candy cane in hers a bit before sipping, a trick Luz taught her.

Hunter, Vee, and Gus counted who had to pick up the most of Willow’s mistletoe’s during the Christmas season. In the end, Hunter had to take care of 12, Vee 15, and Gus 21.

Luz gave Skara a cute little elf hat as a gift. She didn’t think much of it, but whenever she wore it around Willow, the Plant Witch would get flustered and silly. Given the fact that’s usually Sakra’s job, she took a bit of pleasure in making her girlfriend feel that way by putting it on randomly.

Its supposedly spring, but it's really hot here. I sleep with my windows open and mischievously remove my socks when sleeping.

I'm on the subway on my way home and I listen to The Smiths. I'm actually enjoying it.

This past week I've been out more, I get out of class and decide to go for a walk. I seem to enjoy music more, I feel so happy when drawing.

Maybe it's the warm weather kissing my skin. Maybe it's because we kissed and I felt so close to you. It was great. We were great, a grandiose, devastating and magnificent thing.

I'm usually really conflicted regarding these things. Im not gonna lie, I have been for the longest time regarding you. I've tried to control my feelings and keep them alineated so I don't disturb you or myself or anything in the delicate balance we've crafted and danced around for so long.

But you kissed me, and I'm still your friend and you still giggle at my goofiness and tell me silly stories. It's so silly, and I'm so happy.

I just decided to love you. I really don't care what you do or what you feel towards me, and while I obviously like being reciprocated and validated, I know you love me too. I don't know how or why, nor do I know how things will develop. But I'm just happy you're the little pack of stardust I get to see everyday, I'm glad I get to memorize your movements, make you laugh, remove cat hair from your clothes, hear your voice and be beside you when you need someone.

What I'm trying to say is, Im glad to be the someone who gets to be there and I'm not longer sad you just need someone and not me. I'm sorry it hasn't always been the case.

You're the very first non-internet person I ever met who liked The Smiths when I first met them. The very first boy I ever saw cry because Morrissey's voice was so pretty and you felt so moved by it. And while that is'nt very important or relevant at all, I can't help but think about it as I replay this song and think how sorry I am for being so sad I didn't allow you to love me properly.

I love you dearly. I think I'm very much in love with you.

And I'm sorry to say I've been fascinated by you since I saw you for the very first time.

PLEASE it's all i could think about the very first time i watched the movie bc my brain cannot simply Stop. but bakugou with the SMUDGY BLACK EYE-MAKEUP HELLO??? HELLO???

and bakugou is LIVID, because his entire career is on the line, everything he stands for, even his friends are questioning him and what went down bc he's always been temperamental, you know, and they don't necessarily think anyone was hurt on purpose, but bakugou's range can be devastating. and if he just sits down and talks to the feds about what happened, everything will be cleared up—but bakugou is like "I DIDN'T DO SQUAT, WASN'T ME"

and when he gets a chance to survey the scene of the crime—what's left of a bank, let's say—and the vault has been tampered with and it's empty, not a single scrap of a bill floating around and he knows it's because someone cleaned it out, must have before the thing went up in smoke. detective here, detective there, and our hero comes to find out that we, little reader-chan, got a hold of some of that money. somehow. and we're connected in a way we shouldn't be.

and we're a sassy reader-chan that's all "listen up, tough guy, i don't know shit about what went down that day, and even if i did, i wouldn't tell a golden pony boy like you. my business is my business."

but bakugou is very (૭ ఠ༬ఠ)૭ RN YOUR BUSINESS IS MY BUSINESS LITTLE LADY and okay maybe we see where he's coming from, even though hero society hasn't ever done anything for us. and obviously his apartment is being watched, so he burdens us by crashing in our one-bedroom bc he wants to make sure we're not gonna run off on him, and he's hounding us every chance he gets. who gave you that money? who was your hookup? who knew to clean out the vault before the explosion? who has that kind of power on the streets, that much nitroglycerin, that much dynamite?

and after a scary attempt at getting more information in a shady parlor, our villains get a little suspicious, we get a little hurt until our golden boy shows up to save the day—but he can't use too much power or he's gonna draw attention to himself—so it's a hairy fist fight, and by the end of the night, the two of us are sitting in our kitchen. he's washing our wounds, we're washing his. there are bloody napkins and a needle and some fishing line and he's shirtless, so we can apply bandages, and we're in our underwear because it's our apartment, goddammit.

bakugou is looking at the damage done to our pretty face, knowing it's because of him that we went in there in the first place, looking for answers where he couldn't, and he skims the pad of his thumb over our tender, bruised eyebrow and he says, "not doin' that shit anymore. wherever you go, i go."

that's stupid bc, "people are gonna recognize you, blasty, how's that gonna work?"

"don't care, we'll figure somethin' out. 'm not letting you get hurt 'cause of me."

but he doesn't know we've been hurt all our lives, on the street like this, and if it means this weight will lift off his shoulders, those bags will lighten under his eyes, if the world will remember how good he really is—we'd do it all again, for him.

she can replicate all of her weapons with paper and they can actually function, it’s so cool

made paper kunai knives one day and the wholeee village wanted to get their hands on them

i feel like she’d listen to mitski. idk i just get those vibes

LOVES BIG DOGS!! especially fluffy wuffy samoyeds

hugs and cuddles and squishes all the big dogs

like you could just whip out a camera and snap a photo of him at any given moment and he would look perfect

ok i wasnt really sure how to answer this since idek what headcanons people out there have? so i'll just list things i personally think about. if this doesnt satisfy your question feel free to ask me my feelings on specific hcs

read more cuz i cant just keep things short and simple

- love that thing mary kenny said about how violet likes to be the big spoon unless shes had a nightmare or has trouble sleeping. i bet clem being the little spoon makes her feel safe when she sleeps in a way she hasnt felt in nearly a decade of sleeping out on the road where she could die at any moment. i wonder if there was ever an incident tho where clem could feel vi against her back in her sleep and woke up ready to fight someone, cuz in the early days of living at the school im sure she'd still be getting over her immediate fight or flight reaction to everything

- related to the last one i think once aj gets old enough clem would move into violets room (and tenn would move into ajs room. every night is a sleepover (yes tenn is alive in my hcs 😔 and no one is maimed))

- i know clem is technically The Leader now, but vi was doing a good job before clem took over, and since her relationship with clem helped her get over herself a bit and now she outright cares for the school group (instead of caring but pretending she doesnt to avoid getting hurt from loss again 🥺), i think theyd definitely lead together. clem is still #1 but violet is like her right hand/second in command. if the group splits up for whatever reason (hunting/scouting/investigating passing groups) then they each take leadership of each group (unless they feel like going fishing together 🥺). they definitely makes plans together. up in the office. sometimes they share the chair (its a huge chair have you looked at that thing)

- again since tenn is alive in my hcs i love the idea of clem+aj/vi+tenn one little family within one big family. if tenn and aj are like playing or drawing vi and clem are watching like a couple of doting parents 🥺💕

- they stole that horse from the raiders so sometimes they go on little rides together around the school, checking defenses. but also just to get some time together alone

- vi gets help from the others to help jury-rig a pully system on the bell tower so clem can get up there again. they make so many intricate home alone style traps i think they could do it. i think clem would cry shdfks. and it would mean that much more to her that everyone helped make it

- violet became very confident in her relationship with clem throughout the last 2 eps so i think they wouldnt shy away from being cute in front of everyone lmao especially as the years go by

- after a number of years together i think theyd like to make things more "permanent". the only signifier of their relationship is the pin vi gives to clem (which is so cute on its own god i love that pin ("so you never forget that night" "i never will" SHUT UP THEYRE SO CUTE)). i thought maybe violet would whittle like a pair of wooden rings but thinking about it more i think they would just make new pins for each other. the pins are kind of their thing. clem would still keep wearing the og star pin, but she'd also get a violet flower pin, and violet would get a clementine pin 🍊💜

- related to the last one, louis would catch violet making her pin for clem and turn it into a whole big thing. because its boring living in the apocalypse and he wants to make this fun. clem would be on board with it and violet would agree if thats what clem wants. so theyd have a little "wedding" with the school kids attending. tenn and aj collect flowers and you know omar would make some big, extra fancy meal.

- idk if this counts but do you ever think about how during the last ep violet gets forcibly split from clem+aj and has to go back to the school by herself, and hours go by and clem and aj havent made it back yet... and how violet probably went back out there to desperately look for them, thinking they were dead and blaming herself for just leaving them there... she mustve been so devastated and scared and angry. i bet she was the first to see aj pushing that wheelbarrow back to the school and just started crying and sobbing if she wasnt already. SORRY TO END THIS ON A SAD ONE but i think about this 😭 ....................

- related to the last one i bet violet spent so much time next to clems bed just hoping and praying that she would wake up. her and aj were probably there as much as they could be. and maybe would even take turns watching over her before she finally woke up. i bet all the other kids would come in to check on her too. they all love clem so much 🥺 you love to see it. its what she deserves. i bet rosie would be under her bed too like she was when aj was putting up the collectibles at the end

ok so I read your view on GX rivalshipping and how things would get messy when johan shows up because I was curious about another GX rivalshippers opinion, and holy you and I have the EXACT same thoughts.

Ive went on and on about how manjoume as a rival (and as someone who could have had the ability to support judai) was tossed aside as soon as johan shows up + turned into the comedic relief chara and nobody ever really knows what the hell im talking about LOL. a big thing for me is just how DIFFERENT that would be for manjoume as well? in the seasons before johan shows up judai is so clingy towards him, always busting into his room and being in his personal space...

then mr. buff arms big smile shows up with his frilly lilac blouse and homo dragon and suddenly judai is like. smitten. which like youve pointed- out who could blame judai? johan is hard to hate and hes kind of perfect in every way. I always imagine what that would do to manjoumes self esteem in particular, because as we all know it IS a bit fragile at times, especially when it comes to being the best he can be.

I think having johan around would make him feel absolutely insignificant not only as someone who LIKES judai, but even just as judais friend. is he really so horrible at being a support that judai needs a stranger to lean on? even though he never asked for judais help much, is he really such a burden when he needs to be saved? why is judai acting like hes never been able to connect with manjoume, who can also see duel spirits, before? whoever said opposites attract obviously havent seen judai and johan! thoughts like that.

I could go on and on but I dont want you to have to read my 2746373 word long ask about them. id love to hear any thought or analysis you have on GX rivalshipping because its my favourite and the shippers are so rare, so I encourage you to post them whenever you feel like it!

The thing is that the way Manjoume is cast aside is just... a big fear of mine. "Sure, we might be friends now, but I'm not all that good and you know it. You won't mean any harm by it, but you'll find someone you like better and I'll be alone again." That kind of line of thought is probably something that goes through Manjoume's mind? He doesn't really... have friends outside of Judai. Maybe Fubuki. And Daichi? Except he disappears into nothingness very quickly. But that's it. And he certainly had none before that: just lackeys who pretended to like him because he was rich and perceived as promising. He lost that and suddenly found himself isolated.

It's nice to think that he bonded with the other members of the gang, but... he didn't. Shou certainly never really stops disliking/making fun of him. You could say it's meant as like... friendly teasing. But it doesn't read that way because there is nothing to indicate actual affection. Kenzan, Aster and the transfer students just... barely interact with him? Like have they actually ever spoken to eachother? I doubt it. Ryo is just the admirable upperclassman. Again, barely any interaction. Asuka is... a mess I don't want to get into, but again, she would probably file a restraining order if she could.

So yeah. Manjoume has one friend and the taller and cooler guy just kind of takes that away. Of course Johan is not aware of this! He wouldn't have been able to do much to change it, either way. It was Judai's own choice and that's what hurts the most, to me.

If shifting the focus and making minor changes to canon is something you like to do, here's a thing I think about a lot. "Teardrop", the Season 3 opening, except it's what Manjoume feels when seeing Judai's suffering and desperation. You know.

I can't bring myself to blame Judai or Johan for it, but I think Manjoume- if he'd been written like an actual character past a certain point- would have been quite devastated by this.

As you said, it's not just being abandoned, it's also being indirectly told that he was never truly someone worthwhile, that he is little more than extra weight. What of his supposed status of equal rival and all that? Nothing. Judai is just... on a different level than him. So Manjoume is simply left to stagger behind in a desperate attempt to chase after greatness. He wasn't good enough for his brothers and Judai stood up for him. But in the end he wasn't good enough for Judai either.

I like to think that Manjoume made an effort to get along with the others. He just didn't quite know how and couldn't just... switch off his more prideful persona. And he ended up paying quite the steep price.

I know I'm extra melodramatic when it comes to my favourites, but it's something that bugs me. I understand why the manga decided to approach Manjoume's character in a completely different way and it's the reason why I like to read Manjoume's personality as a mix of manga and anime canon. I really have to mention this- how can one even pretend that the writers gave a shit about Manjoume when they joked about how stinky he was in a scene that could have been... emotional in some way. Judai frees Manjoume from the influence of the Society of Light by reminding him who he really is (I don't want to talk about Kenzan being too strong to be manipulated because that is fucking stupid and besically the equivalent of saying "ahah, the light got you because you're not strong willed enough @ Asuka @ Manjoume. Get rekt"). And like... great! They are actually showing off how much they care for eachother as friends despite the rivalry! But no. Judai ends up basically saying: "You smell and your coat has stains on it!" and Manjoume's just: "Oh yeah, I'm goth I hate wearing white, nvm."

... I swear someone on the writing team looked at Manjoume and went: "Let's bully him!" Ugh ;; Can you tell I'm hyper biased towards Manjoume yet?

This was hilarious to read, by the way: "mr. buff arms big smile shows up with his frilly lilac blouse and homo dragon"

But yes, this mess is now officially over. I will be spouting gx rivalshipping nonsense left and right because we were robbed of their dynamic and I'll never get over that. Also I really want to draw them, so that helps.

Ending this post by saying that this ask made me feel like I didn't waste time writing all that, that someone can get something out of it. I'm really glad.

Hi its me and im gonna talk about sergei being a pokemon

i wanna do this with all tekken characters as a little creativity exercise so no fighting type AT ALL unless is like a must or dont have any idea and all will be dual type because is funnier like that

So for this little exercise i will start with the one i thinked the most because favorite character alert, i will be drawing this ideas later maybe...maybe.

To start i wanna think first on who is Dragunov, a spetnaz that is cold, mysterious, silent and looks emotionless but have some slight mischief with those smirks or little taunts or even the talks he had with Raven on Tekken 6. So the best first type would be the Dark Type since it fits with the creepy silent attitude that other dark types like Umbreon or Absol could have and are like my base.

I know this will sound cliche and all that but i think is obligatory that he have to be a Ice Type. Not really because hes Russian as the nationality but more for the ambience. We alredy saw with regional versions how the habitat can change a pokemon type and appearance to survive so im going on with that mostly, plus, hes often described as cold and with icy eyes which i think is obvious to this point for appearance and personality.

What we have now is a Dark-Ice, kinda Sneazel and Weavile thing which we can work with. What we know is that Dragunov usually works alone but is not solitary and we can asume he works with other militars too. We could see hes also a good leader, leading the others to end the jobs.

I thinked for him is a mixed nature in social activities with others. Can work really good alone but better in "herd" and is natural leader among the herd. Interacting with others outside his circle is difficult since hes also not trustful and is hard for him to get used to stranger presences and always have the guard up, but if you gain his trust he will defend you certainly.

I wanna now think about like in-battle natures, like a dark type he usually attacks that would generate surprice but brutal to the other, usually using the opponent body to his advantage. Also attacking with grabs to then make a final devasting one with punches, bites and maybe a funny claw to scratch.

Inspired by his in-game moves "Feint & Catch" and "Chernobog Sweep" (maybe also "Spetnaz Assault"), traducing it to the move "Foul Play".

For punches he would use his ice abilities more, his knuckles and nails would get covered in solid ice that with make the attack so much heavy, inspired by his move "Sub-zero" traducing it to "Ice punch"

For the grabs like in general because theres a lot, searching i finded the move "Submission" a fighting type move that well, fits to well to not mention it and would work exactly as how it do in the games.

He have great teeth also, doesnt bite often since his hands are more effective but he knows "Crunch" if is necessary to use those great teeth, other option could also be "Ice Fang" since his teeths are made of the same material as his nails.

(Look i think it would be hilarious if he had "Sing" tho, like just saying)

For the ability he would have "Intimidate" or "Unnerve" his look, body and just overall attitude and personality would really just make the opponent nervous.

Mostly a physical attacker with decent defense but lack of special defence and a unusuable special attack but a really great speed and reflects, good for a silent killer.

Now is time for complicated parts, Biology, he isnt just gonna be him, all this characteristics arent gonna be just to a human looking person.

I thinked he would be inspired in a wolf, specially the siberian wolf using the term lone wolf and the fact that wolves also works in herds as a concept and that they live i cold places usually. maybe put these concept with a military trained dog.

Will be bipedal with great arms and thighs but thinner legs with a contracted torso. Also some thick fur on the neck and back that connect to the tail that will help to survive the cold. Tail is medium lenght with a puffy end but a slick start amd make a C shape usually that gets flowy and wavy when running. Nails are short since he doesnt use them as much but are made of thick ice that can scratch good. Have great teeths like the canine he is, made of thick ice material like his nails. Ears are pointy but fluffy, wolf like and shows his emotions a lot of the time.

The constant touch of his extremities with the snow made his hand and feet have other propperties such as being much harder, colder even in normal weather and the hair of those parts getting replaced with little ice shards.

My brain is fried thinking in all this lol.

okay so, angst. dont know why the first kind of, if not one of the first kind’s of fic I write when I write for something new always ends up being angst, like legit this made me cry.

i read a fic with a similar premise this morning and the thought wouldnt leave my head, so in one sitting, on my phone, i wrote this. (I thought I saved the fic, but I did not, so if anyone knows which one im talking about hit me up)

but since i hate unresolved angst, i gave this a not sad ending, AND I gave whiskey a therapist, like he needs.

Of course it was too good to be true.

You knew it that first night he asked you to dinner. You knew it every time he took you to bed. You knew it when he asked you to move in.

He was tall, he was handsome, he had a thick Kentucky twang that made you weak in the knees, and, he’d been so kind, and sweet, and he made you feel wanted.

You had never realized how little space you actually took up until you started packing. How your clothes took up less than a quarter of the walk-in closet, how few decorations were just yours.

They’ll pull the “we were right” card when you show up back home with a duffle and barely three boxes of your things.

God, he probably laughs about how easy you were, another notch in his bedpost, a guaranteed fuck if he couldn’t get into someone’s bed.

How many times were “late flights” really him sneaking back in. How many times did he come home and immediately head for you because someone else turned him down.

You can’t hold back the choked off sob that comes out of you as the heavy blanket you’d made for Christmas falls from the upper shelf as you tear down the last of your clothes.

You can’t touch it, you can barely look at it, he’ll have to deal with it when he finds it. Will he even notice you’re gone before that?

As you toss your last set of shirts into your bag you hear the jangle of keys. You’d hoped to be at least thirty minutes gone by the time he came home, but you’d hoped for a lot of things.

“Darlin’ you home?”

Your throat tightens around your reflexive reply.

You hear his keys as they fall into the bowl by the door, the soft pad of his bare feet, the opening of the fridge.

Has he noticed that you haven’t said anything? Does he even care?

“Honeybee?”

Your stomach lurches and suddenly you’re running to the bathroom to dry heave.

He takes the stairs two at a time, and you gag on nothing as he makes it to the bedroom.

He steps closer and you can feel his hand as it gets closer to your back, “Sugar-“

“Don’t you fucking touch me.”

The venom in your voice shocks even you, good, he needs to know there’s rage fueling these tears.

Your stomach finally settles and you look up to the piece of shit that strung you along for nearly two and a half years.

They haven’t stopped since he left Fett, before he could just pretend it was the lack of sleep, pretend it was his nerves frayed about the kid’s safety.

Not anymore.

“You gave your son to a Jedi, an enemy, you are not worthy.”

His stomach rolls.

“Our enemies must kneel, or they must fall, for the glory of Mandalore.”

“THE GLORY OF MANDALORE!”

The cacophony of voices is deafening, and the low hum that seems to come with it makes his teeth hurt.

He throws his helmet and screams, suddenly he can’t breathe.

“Weak, you are weak Din Djarin.”

He’s panting, gasping for breath.

“A broken Creed,”

He falls to his knees.

“A lost Foundling.”

He tugs at his cowl, but it doesn’t help.

He feels someone step on his back and he drops.

“You are not worthy Din Djarin.”

“NOT WORTHY!”

In the warped reflection of his helmet, he sees it.

A Mandalorian, armor black and reflective, the ‘T’ of their visor a blinding white against the void.

They raise their foot.

Little boy sticks everything in his mouth, local father tired.

(It takes basically the entire apartment building to raise this menace, the hat is a hand me down from the lady (Omera) a few apartments over, it used to be white, but it got thrown in with colors and it hasn’t been the same since, Din tore up an old coat of his and asked her to make a poncho as well, he was very confused when she freaked out because it was a Burberry)

Crazy long text ahead i warn you, just explaining some process I went through while drawing this Frank and Julie low light dying thingie, probably gonna drop some wips along the way, you may want to see… idk, dealer’s choice

!TRIGGER WARNING! Violence, death, suicide. Proceed with caution.

Well where do we begin? The inspiration maybe?

Exploring the magical world of Spotify when a band came in, one of the first songs (if not the first one) of theirs I heard was Partners in Crime by Set It Off, you know, love at first sight, love for their voices, their music style, aaand the lyrics, OH BOI the lyrics, check it out:

“You’ll never takes us alive We swore that death will do us part They’ll call our crimes a work of art You’ll never takes us alive We’ll live like spoiled royalty, lovers and partners”

Dunno, for two passionate juvenil delinquents that just wants trouble this line really fits to me, the dreamy couple feels invencible.

“Everybody freeze Nobody move Put the money in the bag Or we will shoot Empty out the vault And me and my doll will be on our way”

It’s actually interesting to think of the Legion robbing a bank, it’s not like troublesome teens didn’t do that in movies c’mon, it’s a small city, they wear masks, ez!

THIS. This is so a Legion thing to say. Can you imagine their masks all around the streets as a warning like “HEY, WE ARE HERE, FEAR US” I love this

The second big moment, the adrenaline along with the instrumental is crazy for real

THIS. (again) is the main theme of the drawing, it’s where the inspiration flood over me, the scene was clear in my mind, c’mon if you read till here there’s absolutely no reason not to listen to the song you won’t regret im not even getting payed to show it off

Anyways, here goes the lore, along with the music lyrics I filled up the gaps, well, Suz and Joey are not around, maybe doing school stuff Julie didn’t feel like doing so she decides to hang out with Frank in the meanwhile, they’re on the lodge, bored, upset about the world cause it’s what teens do in their free time, listening to one of their mixtapes, probably Frank’s, the more hardcore one when the idea hit: what if they try some good mischief? “There’s a small banks a mile from here, want some adrenaline babe?” And oh of course she does, grab your mask, here we go

Sorry, not a big legs-drawing fan…

They grab their knives, put on the masks, get ready, drive to the bank. I didnt really think this part through, the song says it all. Long story short - they rob the bank, the police arrives, the action begins.

They brought their knives, didn’t expect the cops to show up with guns, damn they didnt even know little Ormond cops had actual guns. After long minutes of hiding on the bank safe the couple decides to fight their way out, they would be more useful alive than dead so laws could apply, but that went out of question once Frank stabbed the first bank employee on his triumphal way out, the police don’t think twice before shooting to protect the citizens inside.

Frank and Julie have too little time to react, the stress and anxiety kicks in, they go feral, crazy cinematic bullet avoids, for a moment it’s possible to get away. It all happened too quick, but in Julie’s vision it went slow motion. She just saw a cop leaning behind a car, aiming directly at Frank, even her fastest reaction wasn’t fast enough to stop the trigger from popping. With tears in her eyes she watches as the bullet hits her boyfriend right in the chest.

She snaps. One target in mind, she sprints to the cop and stabs him over and over until she’s sure he won’t see the sun set ever again. She takes his gun and rushes towards Frank who is kneeling against a taxi holding his torax, she screams that they must go to the hospital immediately but he refuses, hospital would be just a quick stop on his way to jail. No fucking way.

He demands to go back to the lodge, the cops are too busy helping their wounded partner to look for them, they think Frank may be dropped dead somewhere on the street after multiple shots, the two of them must flee before the cops realize the mistake and go hunting for them. NOW.

Julie side-carries Frank back to their car, the lack of a license of her own won’t stop her from driving as fast as the car can. Breathing heavily while constantly telling Frank to hold on, they will find a way out, they must do. Oh what a fucking stupid idea holy SHIT.

The travel takes half the time it usually does and still feels like hours. The car gets all red with Frank’s blood that keeps leaking. Once they arrive, Frank wants to go upstair, Julie shouts at him to keep next the central campfire once he should grab some heat (and for god’s sake why is he still carrying the money bag they stole????), anyway he gets the last word and they climb the stairs up and lay on the bed, Frank hisses from the pain but also sighs in relief for the soft spot under him, ignoring Julie cursing besides him, saying she can still call an ambulance, she doesnt want to lose him, Suz and Joey will be devastated, although he just replies with the phrase they were saying sooner that day “They’ll never take us alive”.

After 20 minutes of agony, low whispers of memories of how they met, what they had been through together and a huge amount of blood moisturing the covers, Frank says he’s feeling light-headed, Julie looks at him and he’s paper white, the blood loss is finally getting to him, she wants to cry, scream, curse and stab that damn cop a hundred times again, but all she does is cuddle her head harder against his shoulder and tell him she loves him, that she will keep his legacy alive, with Joey and Susie, she will revenge him. He chuckles and slowly feels the life being drained from his weaked body until everything goes black.

Julie need a few seconds to process. Frank died. For real. He was good a few hours ago, he was right. They would never take them alive. Death could do them apart, but, he never said for how long they would be apart.

She reaches for the gun on the hand under Frank’s body. THAT DAMN GUN. She aims it to the side of her head, never leaving Frank’s side on the bed. Triggers it.

“Partners in crime”

Damn did I just write a fucking fanfiction? This shit is way longer than I expected, did anybody even get down here?

Well, this is the part of the drawing where i left cause I just couldn’t afford to work on it, have in mind everytime the file were opened the whole lore came in my head, and fuck did i feel dizzy writing it all down. Hell the bloody details get me, seeing Frank so white with a blue undertone simulating the lifeless body gave me headaches fr. My escape was drawing other things until the courage to finish it came back. It was easier because the story kinda faded away from my mind, the drawing became “lighter” to deal with.

Well, guess that’s it. I hardly have this big insight while drawing, to visualize the finished piece on my brain and it’s just so fucking cool, making art with so many mixed feelings along, and overall pride, cause i feel so proud with the result you have no idea. It isn’t perfect tho, but i like it anyway. So, thank you so much if you made it all the way here. gonna sleep now for fucks sake im gonna pass out bye
