I really want to write a fic where Mav goes batshit insane after Goose dies. I feel like the grief of losing your best friend and only family you even have wasn’t portrayed painfully enough. (Yeah ik why that was but still I need the angst.) Like I just want to see Mav breaking himself down in guilt and anger over and over again to the point where he’s risking being thrown out of the Navy because he can’t process the rouge river of pain that comes with Goose’s death.

I want to see him snapping at people like he snapped at Sundown after that one flight. Punching the walls, speeding faster than ever on his bike to let out the grief. I need this man to scream into empty space because how is he supposed not to, when Goose is no longer by his side.
